 Psalms /  Mezmurlar

1:1 Ne mutlu o insana ki, kötülerin ögüdüyle yürümez, Günahkârlarin yolunda durmaz, Alaycilarin arasinda oturmaz.

1:1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

1:2 Ancak zevkini RABbin Yasasindan alir Ve gece gündüz onun üzerinde derin derin düsünür.

1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.

1:3 Böylesi akarsu kiyilarina dikilmis agaca benzer, Meyvesini mevsiminde verir, Yapragi hiç solmaz. Yaptigi her isi basarir.

1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

1:4 Kötüler böyle degil, Rüzgarin savurdugu saman çöpüne benzerler.

1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

1:5 Bu yüzden yargilaninca aklanamaz, Dogrular toplulugunda yer bulamaz günahkârlar.

1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

1:6 Çünkü RAB dogrularin yolunu gözetir, Kötülerin yolu ise ölüme götürür.

1:6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

2:10 Ey krallar, akilli olun! Ey dünya önderleri, ders alin!

2:10 Be wise now therefore, O all of you kings: be instructed, all of you judges of the earth.

2:11 RABbe korkuyla hizmet edin, Titreyerek sevinin.

2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2:12 Ogulu öpün ki öfkelenmesin, Yoksa izlediginiz yolda mahvolursunuz. Çünkü öfkesi bir anda alevleniverir. Ne mutlu O'na siginanlara!

12:3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:

12:4 Onlar ki, ‹‹Dilimizle kazaniriz, Dudaklarimiz emrimizde, Kim bize efendilik edebilir?›› derler.

12:4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

12:5 ‹‹Simdi kalkacagim›› diyor RAB, ‹‹Çünkü mazlumlar eziliyor, Yoksullar inliyor, Özledikleri kurtulusu verecegim onlara.››

12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him.

12:6 RABbin sözleri pak sözlerdir; Toprak ocakta eritilmis, Yedi kez aritilmis gümüse benzer.

12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

12:7 Sen onlari koru, ya RAB, Bu kötü kusaktan hep uzak tut!

12:7 You shall keep them, O LORD, you shall preserve them from this generation for ever.

12:8 Insanlar arasinda alçaklik ragbet görünce, Kötüler her yanda dolasir oldu.

12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

14:2 RAB göklerden bakar oldu insanlara, Akilli, Tanriyi arayan biri var mi diye.

14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

18:3 Övgüye deger RABbe seslenir, Kurtulurum düsmanlarimdan.

18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

18:4 Ölüm iplerine dolanmistim, Yikim selleri basmisti beni,

18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

18:5 Ölüler diyarinin baglari sarmisti, Ölüm tuzaklari çikmisti karsima.

18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.

18:6 Sikinti içinde RABbe yakardim, Yardima çagirdim Tanrimi. Tapinagindan sesimi duydu, Haykirisim kulaklarina ulasti.

18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

18:7 O zaman yeryüzü sarsilip sallandi, Titreyip sarsildi daglarin temelleri, Çünkü RAB öfkelenmisti.

18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.

18:8 Burnundan duman yükseldi, Agzindan kavurucu ates Ve korlar fiskirdi.

18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

18:9 Kara buluta basarak Gökleri yarip indi.

18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

18:10 Bir Keruva binip uçtu, Rüzgar kanatlar takarak hizla geldi.

18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

18:11 Karanligi örtündü, Kara bulutlari kendine çardak yapti.

18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

18:12 Varliginin pariltisindan, Bulutlardan dolu ve korlar savruluyordu.

18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

18:13 RAB göklerden gürledi, Duyurdu sesini Yüceler Yücesi, Dolu ve alevli korlarla.

18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

18:14 Savurup oklarini düsmanlarini dagitti, Simsek çaktirarak onlari saskina çevirdi.

18:14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and humiliated them.

18:15 Denizin dibi göründü, Yeryüzünün temelleri açiga çikti, ya RAB, Senin azarlamandan, Burnundan çikan güçlü soluktan.

18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

18:16 RAB yukaridan elini uzatip tuttu, Çikardi beni derin sulardan.

18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

18:17 Beni zorlu düsmanimdan, Benden nefret edenlerden kurtardi, Çünkü onlar benden güçlüydü.

18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

18:18 Felaket günümde karsima dikildiler, Ama RAB bana destek oldu.

18:18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

18:19 Beni huzura kavusturdu, Kurtardi, çünkü benden hosnut kaldi.

18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

18:20 RAB dogrulugumun karsiligini verdi, Beni temiz ellerime göre ödüllendirdi.

18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.

18:21 Çünkü RABbin yolunda yürüdüm, Tanrimdan uzaklasarak kötülük yapmadim.

18:21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

18:22 Onun bütün ilkelerini göz önünde tuttum, Kurallarindan ayrilmadim.

18:22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.

18:23 Onun gözünde kusursuzdum, Suç islemekten sakindim.

18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.

18:24 Bu yüzden RAB beni dogruluguma Ve gözünde pak olan ellerime göre ödüllendirdi.

18:24 Therefore has the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

18:25 Sadik kuluna sadakat gösterir, Kusursuz olana kusursuz davranirsin.

18:25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; with an upright man you will show yourself upright;

18:26 Pak olanla pak olur, Egriye egri davranirsin.

18:26 With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the perverse you will show yourself perverse.

18:27 Alçakgönüllüleri kurtarir, Gururlularin basini egersin.

18:27 For you will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks.

18:28 Isigimin kaynagi sensin, ya RAB, Tanrim! Karanligimi aydinlatirsin.

18:28 For you will light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

18:29 Desteginle akincilara saldirir, Seninle surlari asarim, Tanrim.

18:29 For by you I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

18:30 Tanrinin yolu kusursuzdur, RABbin sözü aridir. O kendisine siginan herkesin kalkanidir.

18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

18:31 Var mi RABden baska tanri? Tanrimizdan baska kaya var mi?

18:31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?

18:32 Tanri beni güçle donatir, Yolumu kusursuz kilar.

18:32 It is God that girds me with strength, and makes my way perfect.

18:33 Ayaklar verdi bana, geyiklerinki gibi, Doruklarda tutar beni.

18:33 He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places.

18:34 Bana savasmayi ögretti, Kollarimla tunç bir yayi gereyim diye.

18:34 He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

18:35 Bana zafer kalkanini bagislarsin, Sag elin destekler, Alçakgönüllülügün yüceltir beni.

18:35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.

18:36 Bastigim yerleri genisletirsin, Burkulmaz bileklerim.

18:36 You have enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

18:37 Kovalayip yetistim düsmanlarima, Hepsi yok olmadan geri dönmedim.

18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I return till they were consumed.

18:38 Ezdim onlari, kalkamaz oldular, Ayaklarimin altina serildiler.

18:38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

18:39 Savas için beni güçle donattin, Bana baskaldiranlari önümde yere serdin.

18:39 For you have girded me with strength unto the battle: you have subdued under me those that rose up against me.

18:40 Düsmanlarimi kaçmak zorunda biraktin, Benden nefret edenleri yok ettim.

18:40 You have also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

18:41 Feryat ettiler, ama kurtaran çikmadi; RABbi çagirdilar, ama O yanit vermedi.

18:41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

18:42 Ezdim onlari, rüzgarin savurdugu toza döndüler, Sokak çamuru gibi savurup attim.

18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

18:43 Halkimin çekismelerinden beni kurtardin, Uluslarin önderi yaptin, Tanimadigim halklar bana kulluk ediyor.

18:43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; and you have made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

18:44 Duyar duymaz sözümü dinlediler, Yabancilar bana yaltaklandilar.

18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

18:45 Yabancilarin betleri benizleri atti, Titreyerek çiktilar kalelerinden.

18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

18:46 RAB yasiyor! Kayama övgüler olsun! Yücelsin kurtaricim Tanri!

18:46 The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

18:47 Odur öcümü alan, Halklari bana bagimli kilan.

18:47 It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me.

18:48 Düsmanlarimdan kurtarir, Baskaldiranlardan üstün kilar beni, Zorbalarin elinden alir.

18:48 He delivers me from mine enemies: yea, you lift me up above those that rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.

18:49 Bunun için uluslar arasinda sana sükredecegim, ya RAB, Adini ilahilerle övecegim.

18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto you, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto your name.

18:50 RAB kralini büyük zaferlere ulastirir, Meshettigi krala, Davut'a ve soyuna Sonsuza dek sevgi gösterir.

18:50 Great deliverance gives he to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

21:8 Elin bütün düsmanlarina erisecek, Sag elin senden nefret edenlere uzanacak.

21:8 Yours hand shall find out all yours enemies: your right hand shall find out those that hate you.

21:9 Öfkelendigin an, ya RAB, Kizgin firina döndüreceksin onlari; Gazapla yutacak, Atesle tüketeceksin.

21:9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of yours anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

21:10 Yok edeceksin çocuklarini yeryüzünden, Soylarini insanlar arasindan.

21:10 Their fruit shall you destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

21:11 Düzenler kursalar sana, Aldatmaya çalissalar, Yine de basarili olamazlar.

21:11 For they intended evil against you: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

21:12 Çünkü sirtlarini döndüreceksin, Yayini yüzlerine dogru gerince.

21:12 Therefore shall you make them turn their back, when you shall make ready yours arrows upon your strings against the face of them.

21:13 Yüceligini göster, ya RAB, gücünle! Ezgiler söyleyip ilahilerle övecegiz kudretini.

21:13 Be you exalted, LORD, in yours own strength: so will we sing and praise your power.

22:1 Tanrim, Tanrim, beni neden terk ettin? Niçin bana yardim etmekten, Haykirisima kulak vermekten uzak duruyorsun?

22:1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

22:2 Ey Tanrim, gündüz sesleniyorum, yanit vermiyorsun, Gece sesleniyorum, yine rahat yok bana.

22:2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but you hear not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

22:3 Oysa sen kutsalsin, Israilin övgüleri üzerine taht kuran sensin.

22:3 But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.

22:4 Sana güvendiler atalarimiz, Sana dayandilar, onlari kurtardin.

22:4 Our fathers trusted in you: they trusted, and you did deliver them.

22:5 Sana yakarip kurtuldular, Sana güvendiler, aldanmadilar.

22:5 They cried unto you, and were delivered: they trusted in you, and were not confounded.

22:6 Ama ben insan degil, toprak kurduyum, Insanlar beni küçümsüyor, halk hor görüyor.

22:6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

22:7 Beni gören herkes alay ediyor, Siritip bas sallayarak diyorlar ki,

22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

22:8 ‹‹Sirtini RABbe dayadi, kurtarsin bakalim onu, Madem onu seviyor, yardim etsin!››

22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

22:9 Oysa beni ana rahminden çikaran, Ana kucagindayken sana güvenmeyi ögreten sensin.

22:9 But you are he that took me out of the womb: you did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

22:10 Dogusumdan beri sana teslim edildim, Ana rahminden beri Tanrim sensin.

22:10 I was cast upon you from the womb: you are my God from my mother's belly.

22:11 Benden uzak durma! Çünkü sikinti yanibasimda, Yardim edecek kimse yok.

22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

22:12 Bogalar kusatiyor beni, Azgin Basan bogalari sariyor çevremi.

22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

22:13 Kükreyerek avini parçalayan aslanlar gibi Agizlarini açiyorlar bana.

22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

22:14 Su gibi dökülüyorum, Bütün kemiklerim oynaklarindan çikiyor; Yüregim balmumu gibi içimde eriyor.

22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

22:15 Gücüm çömlek parçasi gibi kurudu, Dilim damagima yapisiyor; Beni ölüm topragina yatirdin.

22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death.

22:16 Köpekler kusatiyor beni, Kötüler sürüsü çevremi sariyor, Ellerimi, ayaklarimi deliyorlar.

22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

22:17 Bütün kemiklerimi sayar oldum, Gözlerini dikmis, bana bakiyorlar.

22:17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

22:18 Giysilerimi aralarinda paylasiyor, Elbisem için kura çekiyorlar.

22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

22:19 Ama sen, ya RAB, uzak durma; Ey gücüm benim, yardimima kos!

22:19 But be not you far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste you to help me.

22:20 Canimi kiliçtan, Biricik hayatimi köpegin pençesinden kurtar!

22:20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

22:21 Kurtar beni aslanin agzindan, Yaban öküzlerinin boynuzundan. Yanit ver bana!

22:21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for you have heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22:22 Adini kardeslerime duyurayim, Toplulugun ortasinda sana övgüler sunayim:

22:22 I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise you.

22:23 Ey sizler, RABden korkanlar, Ona övgüler sunun! Ey Yakup soyu, Onu yüceltin! Ey Israil soyu, Ona saygi gösterin!

22:23 All of you that fear the LORD, praise him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you the seed of Israel.

22:24 Çünkü O mazlumun çektigi sikintiyi hafife almadi, Ondan tiksinmedi, yüz çevirmedi; Kendisini yardima çagirdiginda ona kulak verdi.

22:24 For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

22:25 Övgü konum sen olacaksin büyük toplulukta, Senden korkanlarin önünde yerine getirecegim adaklarimi.

22:25 My praise shall be of you in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

22:26 Yoksullar yiyip doyacak, RABbe yönelenler Ona övgü sunacak. Sonsuza dek ömrünüz tükenmesin!

22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

22:27 Yeryüzünün dört bucagi animsayip RABbe dönecek, Uluslarin bütün soylari Onun önünde yere kapanacak.

22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.

22:28 Çünkü egemenlik RABbindir, Uluslari O yönetir.

22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

22:29 Yeryüzündeki bütün zenginler doyacak Ve Onun önünde yere kapanacak, Topraga gidenler, Ölümlerine engel olamayanlar, Egilecekler Onun önünde.

22:29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

22:30 Gelecek kusaklar Ona kulluk edecek, Rab yeni kusaklara anlatilacak.

22:30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

22:31 O'nun kurtarisini, ‹‹Rab yapti bunlari›› diyerek, Henüz dogmamis bir halka duyuracaklar.

37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

37:8 Kizmaktan kaçin, birak öfkeyi, Üzülme, yalniz kötülüge sürükler bu seni.

37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.

37:9 Çünkü kötülerin kökü kazinacak, Ama RABbe umut baglayanlar ülkeyi miras alacak.

37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

37:10 Yakinda kötünün sonu gelecek, Yerini arasan da bulunmayacak.

37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

37:11 Ama alçakgönüllüler ülkeyi miras alacak, Derin bir huzurun zevkini tadacak.

37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

37:12 Kötü insan dogru insana düzen kurar, Dis gicirdatir.

37:12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.

37:13 Ama Rab kötüye güler, Çünkü bilir onun sonunun geldigini.

37:13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.

37:14 Kiliç çekti kötüler, yaylarini gerdi, Mazlumu, yoksulu yikmak, Dogru yolda olanlari öldürmek için.

37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

37:15 Ama kiliçlari kendi yüreklerine saplanacak, Yaylari kirilacak.

37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

37:16 Dogrunun azicik varligi, Pek çok kötünün servetinden iyidir.

37:16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.

37:17 Çünkü kötülerin gücü kirilacak, Ama dogrulara RAB destek olacak.

37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous.

37:18 RAB yetkinlerin her gününü gözetir, Onlarin mirasi sonsuza dek sürecek.

37:18 The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

37:19 Kötü günde utanmayacaklar, Kitlikta karinlari doyacak.

37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

37:20 Ama kötüler yikima ugrayacak; RABbin düsmanlari kir çiçekleri gibi kuruyup gidecek, Duman gibi dagilip yok olacak.

37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

37:21 Kötüler ödünç alir, geri vermez; Dogrularsa cömertçe verir.

37:21 The wicked borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.

37:22 RABbin kutsadigi insanlar ülkeyi miras alacak, Lanetledigi insanlarin kökü kazinacak.

37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

37:23 RAB insana saglam adim attirir, Insanin yolundan hosnut olursa.

37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.

37:24 Düsse bile yikilmaz insan, Çünkü elinden tutan RABdir.

37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

37:25 Gençtim, ömrüm tükendi, Ama hiç görmedim dogru insanin terk edildigini, Soyunun ekmek dilendigini.

37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

37:26 O hep cömertçe ödünç verir, Soyu kutsanir.

37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.

37:27 Kötülükten kaç, iyilik yap; Sonsuz yasama kavusursun.

37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

37:28 Çünkü RAB dogruyu sever, Sadik kullarini terk etmez. Onlar sonsuza dek korunacak, Kötülerinse kökü kazinacak.

37:28 For the LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

37:29 Dogrular ülkeyi miras alacak, Orada sonsuza dek yasayacak.

37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

37:30 Dogrunun agzindan bilgelik akar, Dilinden adalet damlar.

37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.

37:31 Tanrisinin yasasi yüregindedir, Ayaklari kaymaz.

37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

37:32 Kötü, dogruya pusu kurar, Onu öldürmeye çalisir.

37:32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.

37:33 Ama RAB onu kötünün eline düsürmez, Yargilanirken mahkûm etmez.

37:33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

37:34 RABbe umut bagla, Onun yolunu tut, Ülkeyi miras almak üzere seni yükseltecektir. Kötülerin kökünün kazindigini göreceksin.

37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

37:35 Kötü ve acimasiz adami gördüm, Ilk dikildigi toprakta yeseren agaç gibi Dal budak saliyordu;

37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

37:36 Geçip gitti, yok oldu, Aradim, bulunmaz oldu.

37:36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37:37 Yetkin adami gözle, dogru adama bak, Çünkü yarinlar barisseverindir.

37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

37:38 Ama baskaldiranlarin hepsi yok olacak, Kötülerin kökü kazinacak.

37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

37:39 Dogrularin kurtulusu RABden gelir, Sikintili günde onlara kale olur.

37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

37:40 RAB onlara yardim eder, kurtarir onlari, Kötülerin elinden alip özgür kilar, Çünkü kendisine siginirlar.

37:40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

38:1 Ya RAB, öfkelenip azarlama beni, Gazapla yola getirme!

38:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in your wrath: neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.

38:2 Oklarin içime saplandi, Elin üzerime indi.

38:2 For yours arrows stick fast in me, and your hand presses me sore.

38:3 Öfken yüzünden sagligim bozuldu, Günahim yüzünden rahatim kaçti.

38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of yours anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

38:4 Çünkü suçlarim basimdan asti, Tasinmaz bir yük gibi sirtimda agirlasti.

38:4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

38:5 Akilsizligim yüzünden Yaralarim igrenç, irinli.

38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

38:6 Egildim, iki büklüm oldum, Gün boyu yasli dolasiyorum.

38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

38:7 Çünkü belim ates içinde, Sagligim bozuk.

38:7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

38:8 Tükendim, ezildim alabildigine, Inliyorum yüregimin acisindan.

38:8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the chaos of my heart.

38:9 Ya Rab, bütün özlemlerimi bilirsin, Iniltilerim senden gizli degil.

38:9 Lord, all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hid from you.

38:10 Yüregim çarpiyor, gücüm tükeniyor, Gözlerimin feri bile söndü.

38:10 My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

38:11 Esim dostum kaçar oldu derdimden, Yakinlarim uzak duruyor benden.

38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand far off.

38:12 Canima susayanlar bana tuzak kuruyor, Zararimi isteyenler kuyumu kaziyor, Gün boyu hileler düsünüyorlar.

38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

38:13 Ama ben bir sagir gibi duymuyorum, Bir dilsiz gibi agzimi açmiyorum;

38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.

38:14 Duymaz, Agzinda yanit bulunmaz bir adama döndüm.

38:14 Thus I was as a man that hears not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

38:15 Umudum sende, ya RAB, Sen yanitlayacaksin, ya Rab, Tanrim benim!

38:15 For in you, O LORD, do I hope: you will hear, O Lord my God.

38:16 Çünkü dua ediyorum: ‹‹Halime sevinmesinler, Ayagim kayinca böbürlenmesinler!››

38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.

38:17 Düsmek üzereyim, Acim hep içimde.

38:17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.

38:18 Suçumu itiraf ediyorum, Günahim yüzünden kaygilaniyorum.

38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

38:19 Ama düsmanlarim güçlü ve dinç, Yok yere benden nefret edenler çok.

38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

38:20 Iyilige karsi kötülük yapanlar bana karsi çikar, Iyiligin pesinde oldugum için.

38:20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

38:21 Beni terk etme, ya RAB! Ey Tanrim, benden uzak durma!

38:21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

38:22 Yardimima kos, Ya Rab, kurtulusum benim!

38:22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

39:1 Karar verdim: ‹‹Adimlarima dikkat edecegim, Dilimi günahtan sakinacagim; Karsimda kötü biri oldukça, Agzima gem vuracagim.››

39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

39:2 Dilimi tutup sustum, Hep kaçindim konusmaktan, yarari olsa bile. Acim alevlendi,

39:2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

39:3 Yüregim tutustu içimde, Ates aldi derin derin düsünürken, Su sözler döküldü dilimden:

39:3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spoke I with my tongue,

39:4 ‹‹Bildir bana, ya RAB, sonumu, Sayili günlerimi; Bileyim ömrümün ne kadar kisa oldugunu!

39:4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.

39:5 Yalniz bir karis ömür verdin bana, Hiç kalir hayatim senin önünde. Her insan bir soluktur sadece, En güçlü çaginda bile. |iSela

39:5 Behold, you have made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before you: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

39:6 ‹‹Bir gölge gibi dolasir insan, Bos yere çirpinir, Mal biriktirir, kime kalacagini bilmeden.

39:6 Surely every man walks in a vain show: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaps up riches, and knows not who shall gather them.

39:7 ‹‹Ne bekleyebilirim simdi, ya Rab? Umudum sende.

39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you.

39:8 Kurtar beni bütün isyanlarimdan, Aptallarin hakaretine izin verme.

39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

39:9 Sustum, açmayacagim agzimi; Çünkü sensin bunu yapan.

39:9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.

39:10 Uzaklastir üzerimden yumruklarini, Tokadinin altinda mahvoldum.

39:10 Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of yours hand.

39:11 Sen insani suçundan ötürü Azarlayarak yola getirirsin, Güve gibi tüketirsin sevdigi seyleri. Her insan bir soluktur sadece. |iSela

39:11 When you with rebukes do correct man for iniquity, you make his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

39:12 ‹‹Duami isit, ya RAB, Kulak ver yakarisima, Gözyaslarima kayitsiz kalma! Çünkü ben bir garibim senin yaninda, Bir yabanci, atalarim gibi.

39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not your peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with you, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

39:13 Uzaklastir üzerimden bakislarini, Göçüp yok olmadan mutlu olayim!››

39:13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go behind, and be no more.

40:1 RABbi sabirla bekledim; Bana yönelip yakarisimi duydu.

40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

40:2 Ölüm çukurundan, Balçiktan çikardi beni, Ayaklarimi kaya üzerinde tuttu, Kaymayayim diye.

40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my activities.

40:3 Agzima yeni bir ezgi, Tanrimiza bir övgü ilahisi koydu. Çoklari görüp korkacak Ve RABbe güvenecekler.

40:3 And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

40:4 Ne mutlu RABbe güvenen insana, Gururluya, yalana sapana ilgi duymayana.

40:4 Blessed is that man that makes the LORD his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

40:5 Ya RAB, Tanrim, Harikalarin, düsüncelerin ne çoktur bizim için; Sana es kosulmaz! Duyurmak, anlatmak istesem yaptiklarini, Saymakla bitmez.

40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

40:6 Kurbandan, sunudan hosnut olmadin, Ama kulaklarimi açtin. Yakmalik sunu, günah sunusu da istemedin.

40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering have you not required.

40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

40:8 I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart.

40:9 Büyük toplantida müjdelerim senin zaferini, Sözümü esirgemem, Ya RAB, bildigin gibi!

40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, you know.

40:10 Zaferini içimde gizlemem, Bagliligini ve kurtarisini duyururum, Sevgini, sadakatini saklamam büyük topluluktan.

40:10 I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation: I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great congregation.

40:11 Ya RAB, esirgeme sevecenligini benden! Sevgin, sadakatin hep korusun beni!

40:11 Withhold not you your tender mercies from me, O LORD: let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

40:12 Sayisiz belalar çevremi sardi, Suçlarim bana yetisti, önümü göremiyorum; Basimdaki saçlardan daha çoklar, Çaresiz kaldim.

40:12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart fails me.

40:13 Ne olur, ya RAB, kurtar beni! Yardimima kos, ya RAB!

40:13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

40:14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

40:15 Bana, ‹‹Oh! Oh!›› çekenler Dehsete düssün utançlarindan!

40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

40:16 Sende nese ve sevinç bulsun Bütün sana yönelenler! ‹‹RAB yücedir!›› desin hep Senin kurtarisini özleyenler!

40:16 Let all those that seek you rejoice and be glad in you: let such as love your salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

40:17 Bense mazlum ve yoksulum, Düsün beni, ya Rab. Yardimcim ve kurtaricim sensin, Geç kalma, ey Tanrim!

40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinks upon me: you are my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
