16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
1 Зүрх сэтгэлийн бодол хүнд харьяалагддаг боловч, Хэлний хариулт ЭЗЭНээс ирдэг юм.
16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weights the spirits.
2 Хүмүүний хамаг зам өөрийнх нь нүдэнд цэвэр харагддаг бол ЭЗЭН учир шалтгаанаар нь цэгнэн үздэг.
16:3 Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.
3 Ажил үйлсээ ЭЗЭНд даатга тэгвэл бодсон санасан чинь биелнэ.
16:4 The LORD has made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
4 ЭЗЭН юм бүхнийг тус тусын зорилготойгоор бүтээжээ. Тэр ч байтугай хар санаатнууд хорон муугийн өдөрт зориулагдсан аж.
16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
5 Бардам зүрхтэй хүн бүр ЭЗЭНий хувьд жигшил юм. Тийм нэгэн зайлшгүй шийтгүүлнэ.
16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
6 Үнэн ба хайр энэрэл нүглийг цагаатгадаг. ЭЗЭНээс эмээхүй нь хорон муугаас холдуулна.
16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
7 Хүмүүний зам ЭЗЭНий таалалд нийцэх цагт Тэрээр түүний дайснуудыг нь хүртэл түүнтэй эв түнжинтэй байлгадаг.
16:8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
8 Зүй бусаар олох үлэмж их орлогоос зөв шударгаар олох бага нь дээр.
16:9 A man's heart devises his way: but the LORD directs his steps.
9 Хүн оюун ухаандаа өөрийн замыг төлөвлөдөг бол ЭЗЭН түүний алхаа гишгээг чиглүүлдэг.
16:10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth trangresses not in judgment.
10 Хааны амнаас тэнгэрлэг шийдвэр гардаг. Шүүх цагт түүний ам алдаа гаргах ёсгүй.
16:11 A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
11 Зөв дэнс ба хэмжүүр ЭЗЭНд харьяалагддаг. Уутан доторх бүх туухай Түүнийх юм.
16:12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
12 Хаан ширээ зөв шударгад тулгуурладаг учраас Хорон муу явдалтай холбогдох нь хааны хувьд жигшүүртэй юм.
16:13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaks right.
13 Шударга зөв уруул хаанд таалагддаг. Үнэн ярьдаг хүнийг хаан хайрладаг.
16:14 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
14 Хааны уур хилэн үхлийн элч мэт буюу. Харин мэргэн хүн түүнийг тайтгаруулдаг.
16:15 In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
15 Хааны нүүрэнд гэрэлтэх гэрэл дотор амьдрал буй. Түүний таалал нь хаврын борооны үүл мэт буюу.
16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
16 Алт авснаас мэргэн ухааныг олох нь илүү дээр. Мөн ухааныг авах нь мөнгөнөөс ч илүү үнэтэй.
16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keeps his way perserves his soul.
17 Цэх шулуун хүмүүсийн зам бол өөрсдийгөө хорон муугаас холдуулах явдал билээ. Өөрийн замыг анхааралтай ажигладаг хүн амиа хамгаална.
16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
18 Сүйрлийн өмнө бардам зан явдаг бол Бүдэрч унахын өмнө дээрэлхүү зан явдаг.
16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
19 Бардам хүмүүстэй олз хувааснаас, Дорд хүмүүсийн дунд даруу сүнстэй байсан нь хавьгүй дээр.
16:20 He that handles a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
20 Үгэнд анхаарлаа хандуулдаг хүн сайн сайхныг олно. ЭЗЭНд итгэгч хүн ерөөлтэй!
16:21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increases learning.
21 Зүрхэндээ мэргэн хүн ухаалаг хэмээгдэнэ. Амтат үг яриа ятгалгыг улам нэмэгдүүлнэ.
16:22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that has it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
22 Өөрийг нь эзэмшигч хүнд ухаан бол амийн ундарга юм. Харин мунхаг хүний сахилга нь мунхаглал юм.
16:23 The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds learning to his lips.
23 Мэргэн хүний зүрх амаа сургадаг бөгөөд Уруулдаа ятгалгыг нэмдэг.
16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
24 Тааламжит үгс зөгийн балтай сархинаг ажгуу. Тэр нь сэтгэлд амтат бурам ба ясанд эм болой.
16:25 There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
25 Хүнд зөв мэт санагдавч, Төгсгөл нь үхэл уруу хөтөлдөг зам байдаг.
16:26 He that labours labours for himself; for his mouth craves it of him.
26 Хөдөлмөрлөгч хүний хооллох хүсэл өөрийнх нь төлөө ажилладаг. Түүний өлсгөлөн байдал нь түүнийг хөтөлдөг.
16:27 An ungodly man digs up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
27 Хар санаат хүн хорон мууг ухаж гаргадаг. Түүний үгс дүрэлзэх гал мэт болой.
16:28 A perverse man sows strife: and a whisperer separates chief friends.
28 Замаасаа гажигч хүн эвдрэлцлийг тарьдаг. Хов жив тараагч хүн дотнын анд нөхдийг салгадаг.
16:29 A violent man entices his neighbour, and leads him into the way that is not good.
29 Хүчирхийлэгч хүн хөршөө уруу татаж, Сайн биш замаар дагуулдаг.
16:30 He shuts his eyes to devise perverse things: moving his lips he brings evil to pass.
30 Нүдээ ирмэгч хүн гажсан зүйлсийг сэддэг. Хөмхийгөө зуугч хүн хорон мууг гүйцэлдүүлдэг.
16:31 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
31 Буурал толгой бол алдрын титэм юм. Үүнийг зөв шударга амьдрал дотор олдог.
16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that rules his spirit than he that takes a city.
32 Уурлахдаа удаан хүн хатан зоригтноос дээр. Сүнсээ захирдаг хүн хотыг эзлэгчээс дээр.
16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
33 Шавга хаявч шийдвэр бүр нь ЭЗЭНээс ирдэг.
17:1 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
1 Идээ будаагаар дүүрэн боловч хэрүүл уруултай гэр орноос Амар тайван орчинд хатсан талхны хэлтэрхий дээр.
17:2 A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causes shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
2 Мэргэн ухаантай зарц гутамшигтай хүүг захирч, Ах дүүсийн дундах өв хөрөнгөнөөс хүртэнэ.
17:3 The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD tries the hearts.
3 Галын дөлөөр мөнгө ба алтыг цэвэршүүлдэг бол ЭЗЭН хүмүүний зүрхийг шалгадаг.
17:4 A wicked doer gives heed to false lips; and a liar gives ear to a naughty tongue.
4 Хорон мууг үйлдэгч нь хар санаатай уруулыг сонсдог. Худалч хүн эвдэн сүйтгэгч хэлэнд анхаарлаа хандуулна.
17:5 Whoso mocks the poor reproaches his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.
5 Ядуу хүнийг элэглэгч Бүтээгчийг нь доромжилж буй хэрэг. Гай гамшигт баясагч нь шийтгэл авна.
17:6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
6 Өтгөсийн титэм болбоос үр ач нар нь юм. Эцэг хүн хөвгүүдийнхээ алдар сүр нь юм.
17:7 Excellent speech becomes not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
7 Дээгүүр яриа мунхаг хүнд үл тохирно. Захирагч хүнд худал хэлэх нь бүр ч зохисгүй.
17:8 A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that has it: anywhere it turns, it prospers.
8 Хээл хахууль нь түүнийг өгөгчийн нүдэнд сахиус юм. Тэрээр хаашаа ч хандсан амжилт олдог аж.
17:9 He that covers a transgression seeks love; but he that repeats a matter separates very friends.
9 Нүгэл хилэнцийг далдлагч хайрыг эрдэг. Харин хэргийг дахин дахин ярьдаг хүн дотнын анд нөхдийг салгадаг.
17:10 A reproof enters more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.
10 Нэг үгээр ухаантай хүнийг зэмлэх нь Зуун удаа мулгуу хүнийг цохисноос илүү гүн хоногшино.
17:11 An evil man seeks only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
11 Тэрслүү хүн зөвхөн хорон мууг эрдэг. Тиймээс түүний эсрэг догшин элч илгээгдэх болно.
17:12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.
12 Мунхаг явдалдаа живсэн мунхагтай учирснаас Бамбаруушнаасаа хагацсан баавгайтай тааралдсан нь дээр.
17:13 Whoso rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
13 Сайныг саараар хариулагч хүний гэрээс бузар муу үл сална.
17:14 The beginning of strife is as when one lets out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.
14 Эвдрэлцлийн эхлэл болбоос ус даланг цөмлөхтэй адил агаад Даамжрахаас нь өмнө хэрүүлийг зогсоогтун.
17:15 He that justifies the wicked, and he that condemns the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
15 Хар санаатныг зөвтгөгч ба зөв шударга хүнийг буруутгагчийн аль аль нь ЭЗЭНий жигшлийг төрүүлдэг.
17:16 Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he has no heart to it?
16 Мэргэн ухааныг худалдан авах хүсэлгүй учраас Мунхгийн гар дээр мөнгө байгаад ч яах билээ?
17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
17 Анд найзууд ямар ч үед бие биеэ хайрладаг. Ах дүү нар хэцүү цагт дэм болохын төлөө төрдөг.
17:18 A man void of understanding strikes hands, and becomes guarantor in the presence of his friend.
18 Ухаанаар хомс хүн гар барин амлаж, Хөршийнхөө батлан даагч болдог.
17:19 He loves transgression that loves strife: and he that exalts his gate seeks destruction.
19 Хэрүүл шуугианд дуртай хүн гэм нүгэлд ч дуртай. Өөрийгөө дөвийлгөгч нь сүйрлийг урьж буй хэрэг.
17:20 He that has a perverse heart finds no good: and he that has a perverse tongue falls into mischief.
20 Зальт зүрхтэй хүн сайныг олохгүй. Мэхлэгч хэлтэй хүн гай зовлонд орно.
17:21 He that bring forths a fool does it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool has no joy.
21 Мунхгийг төрүүлсэн хүн өөртөө гашуудлыг авчирна. Мунхгийн эцэг баяр баясгалангүй.
17:22 A merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.
22 Баяр хөөртэй зүрх бол сайн эм. Харин эмтэрсэн сүнс ясыг хувхайруулна.
17:23 A wicked man takes a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.
23 Шударга замыг завхруулахын тулд Хар санаатай хүн хээл хахуулийг өвөртөлж авдаг.
17:24 Wisdom is before him that has understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.
24 Мэргэн ухаан нь ухаантай хүний оршихуйд байдаг. Харин мунхгийн нүд дэлхийн төгсгөл дээр тусна.
17:25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.
25 Мунхаг хүү эцгийгээ халаглуулна. Тэрээр төрүүлсэн эхдээ ч уй гашуу юм.
17:26 Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity.
26 Зөв шударга нэгнийг торгох нь сайн хэрэг бишийн адил Үнэнч шударга үйлсийнх нь төлөө түшмэдийг цээрлүүлэх нь сайн хэрэг биш ээ.
17:27 He that has knowledge spares his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
27 Хэлж буй үгэндээ хянамгай хүн мэдлэгтэй юм. Ухаантай хүмүүн уужим дотортой.
17:28 Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuts his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
28 Мунхаг хүн ч гэсэн чимээгүй байх аваас мэргэн хүнд тооцогдоно. Тэрээр амаа хамхиад суувал хэрсүү нэгэнд тооцогдоно.
18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeks and intermeddles with all wisdom.
1 Адайр хүн хувийн хүслээ эрж хайдаг ба Хамаг саруул ухааны эсрэг тэрсэлнэ.
18:2 A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.
2 Мунхаг хүн ухаанд баярладаггүй. Харин бодол санаагаа харуулахыг л эрмэлздэг.
18:3 When the wicked comes, then comes also contempt, and with dishonour reproach.
3 Хар санаатан ирэхэд жигшүүр бас ирнэ. Гутамшгийн хамт ичгүүр ирнэ.
18:4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.
4 Хүмүүний амнаас гарах үгс гүний ус мэт бөгөөд Мэргэн ухааны ундарга нь шоржигнон урсах горхи мэт буюу.
18:5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
5 Хар санаатай нэгэнд тал засах ба Зөв нэгнийг түлхэхийн аль аль нь сайнгүй аж.
18:6 A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.
6 Мунхгийн уруул нь эвдрэлцлийг авчирна. Түүний ам нь цохилтыг урьдаг.
18:7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
7 Мунхгийн ам өөрийг нь сүйтгэнэ. Түүний уруул сэтгэлийг нь урхидна.
18:8 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
8 Ам хэлээ билүүдэгчийн үгс амтат идээ будаа мэт ба Тэдгээр үгс ходоодны мухарт ч хүрнэ.
18:9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great destroyer.
9 Ажилдаа хичээл зүтгэл гаргадаггүй хүн Үрэн таран хийгч нэгний ах дүү нь мөн.
18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe.
10 ЭЗЭНий нэр бат бөх цамхаг бөгөөд Шударга зөв хүн тийшээ гүйгээд, тэнд аюулгүй байна.
18:11 The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
11 Баян хүний эд хөрөнгө нь түүнд бэхлэлт бүхий хот ба Өөрийнх нь төсөөлдгөөр өндөр хана мэт ажээ.
18:12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.
12 Сүйрлийн өмнө хүмүүний зүрх ихэмсэг байдаг бол Хүндлэлийн өмнө даруу зан байдаг.
18:13 He that answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame unto him.
13 Сонсохоосоо өмнө хариу хэлэх нь Хүнд өөрт нь мунхаг хэрэг ба ичгүүр билээ.
18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
14 Хүмүүний сүнс өвчнийг ч тэсвэрлэдэг. Харин цөхөрсөн сүнсийг хэн тэнхрүүлж чадах билээ?
18:15 The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
15 Хэрсүү хүний оюун бодол мэдлэгийг эзэмшдэг. Мэргэн хүний чих мэдлэгийг эрж хайдаг.
18:16 A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
16 Бэлэг өгсөн хүний өмнө боломж нээгдэж, Тэр нь түүнийг эрхэм нэгэнтэй учруулна.
18:17 He that is first in his own cause seems just; but his neighbour comes and searches him.
17 Өөр нэгэн ирж, түүнийг шалгаахаас нааш хэрэг явдлаа түрүүлж хэлсэн хүний л зөв шиг байдаг.
18:18 The lot causes contentions to cease, and parts between the mighty.
18 Шавга хаях нь зөрчилдөөнийг эцэслэх бөгөөд Эрх мэдэлтнүүдийн хоорондохыг шийддэг.
18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.
19 Гомдсон ах дүүг буцаж эргүүлэх нь Хүчирхэг хотыг эзлэн авахаас ч илүү хэцүү. Хэрүүл маргаан нь шилтгээний түгжээтэй хаалга мэт ажээ.
18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
20 Амныхаа үр жимсээр хүмүүний ходоод дүүрэх бөгөөд Тэрээр уруулаасаа гаргах бүтээгдэхүүнээр цадна.
18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
21 Амь ба үхэл нь хэл ярианы хүчинд байдаг. Түүнд дуртай хүн эдгээрийн үр жимсийг хүртдэг.
18:22 Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour of the LORD.
22 Эхнэрийг олдог хүн сайныг олж, ЭЗЭНээс тааллыг хүлээн авдаг.
18:23 The poor uses entreaties; but the rich answers roughly.
23 Ядуу хүн өршөөл гуйдаг бол Баян хүн таагүй хариулт өгдөг.
18:24 A man that has friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
24 Дэндүү олон найзтай хүн сүйрэлд өртдөг ч, Ах дүүгээс чинь ч дотно байж чадах анд нөхөр бий шүү.
19:1 Better is the poor that walks in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
1 Гажсан яриатай мунхаг нэгэн байснаас Ядуу атлаа үнэнч шударга байдал дотроо явдаг нэгэн байх нь дээр.
19:2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hastes with his feet sins.
2 Бас мэдлэггүй байх нь хүний хувьд сайн хэрэг биш. Яаруу хүн хий гишгэдэг юм.
19:3 The foolishness of man perverts his way: and his heart frets against the LORD.
3 Хүмүүний мунхаглал замыг нь балладаг бөгөөд Түүний зүрх сэтгэл ЭЗЭНий эсрэг хилэгнэн дайрна.
19:4 Wealth makes many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.
4 Эд баялаг олон найзуудтай болгодог. Харин ядуу хүн найз нөхдөөсөө салсан байдаг.
19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall not escape.
5 Хуурамч гэрч заавал шийтгэл хүлээнэ. Худал хэлдэг хүн ч бас зугтаж чадахгүй.
19:6 Many will implore the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that gives gifts.
6 Олон хүмүүс эрх мэдэлтнүүдийн ивээлд багтахыг санаархдаг агаад Бэлэг сэлт өгдөг нэгэнд хүн бүр найз нөхөд ажээ.
19:7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursues them with words, yet they are lacking to him.
7 Ядуу хүний бүх ах дүүс түүнийг үзэн яддаг байхад Найз нөхөд нь түүнээс ямар их холдох бол доо! Тэр тэднийг үгээрээ царайчлавч, тэд үл олдоно.
19:8 He that gets wisdom loves his own soul: he that keeps understanding shall find good.
8 Мэргэн ухааныг олж авдаг нэгэн сэтгэлээ хайрлана. Ухааныг дээдэлдэг нэгэн сайныг олно.
19:9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall perish.
9 Хуурамч гэрч заавал шийтгэл хүлээнэ. Худал хэлдэг хүн мөхөх болно.
19:10 Delight is not suitable for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.
10 Тансаг байдал мунхагт үл зохино. Зарц хүн ноёдыг захирах нь бүр ч зохимжгүй.
19:11 The discretion of a man defers his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
11 Хүмүүний хэрсүү байдал түүнийг уурандаа удаан байхад сургадаг. Гэм бурууг харахгүй өнгөрөх нь түүний алдар суу билээ.
19:12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.
12 Хааны хилэгнэх нь арслангийн архирахтай адил боловч Таалал нь өвсөн дээрх шүүдэр мэт буюу.
19:13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.
13 Мунхаг хөвгүүн эцгийнхээ сүйрэл нь юм. Хэрүүлч эхнэр тасралтгүй дуслах устай адил буюу.
19:14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.
14 Орон байр болон эд хөрөнгө нь эцгээс өвлөн ирдэг бол Ухаалаг эхнэр ЭЗЭНээс ирдэг ажээ.
19:15 Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
15 Залхуурал хүнийг гүн нойронд автуулна. Лазан хүн өлсгөлөнд нэрвэгдэнэ.
19:16 He that keeps the commandment keeps his own soul; but he that despises his ways shall die.
16 Тушаалыг сахигч хүн сэтгэлээ хамгаална. Харин өөрийн замыг хайхардаггүй хүн үхэх болно.
19:17 He that has pity upon the poor lends unto the LORD; and that which he has given will he pay him again.
17 Ядуу хүнд харамгүйгээр өгөгч хүн ЭЗЭНд зээлүүлж байгаа хэрэг. Тэр хүний сайн үйлийнх нь төлөө ЭЗЭН буцааж төлнө.
19:18 Chasten your son while there is hope, and let not your soul spare for his crying.
18 Найдлага байгаа цагт хүүгээ хүмүүжүүл. Түүний үхлийг бүү хүс.
19:19 A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if you deliver him, yet you must do it again.
19 Их уур хилэнтэй хүн үр дагаврыг нь хүртэх болно. Хэрэв та түүнийг аварвал дахин аврах хэрэг гарна.
19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.
20 Зөвлөгөөг сонсож, сахилгыг хүлээж ав. Тэгвээс амьдралынхаа бүх өдрүүдэд мэргэн байх болно.
19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
21 Хүмүүний зүрхэнд олон санаа байдаг боловч ЭЗЭНий зөвлөгөө байсаар байх болно.
19:22 The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
22 Хүн нинжин сэтгэлийг хүсдэг. Худалч байснаас ядуу байсан нь дээр.
19:23 The fear of the LORD tends to life: and he that has it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
23 ЭЗЭНээс эмээхүй нь амь уруу хөтөлнө. Тийн байваас тэр хүн амар тайван нойрсох бөгөөд хорон мууд ороогдохгүй.
19:24 A slothful man hides his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
24 Залхуу хүн тавганд хүргэсэн гараа амандаа хүргэхдээ хүртэл залхуурна.
19:25 Strike a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that has understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
25 Басамжлагчийг буруутгавал, гэнэн нэгэн нь хэрсүү болж мэднэ. Харин ухаантныг зэмлэвэл тэр сургамжийг олж авна.
19:26 He that wastes his father, and chases away his mother, is a son that causes shame, and brings reproach.
26 Эцгийгээ дээрэмдэж, эхийгээ хөөж явуулдаг хөвгүүн болбоос Ичгүүр сонжуургүй нэгэн мөн.
19:27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causes to go astray from the words of knowledge.
27 Хүү минь, сахилга батыг үл сонсвол чи мэдлэгийн үгнээс холдох болно.
19:28 An ungodly witness scorns judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devours iniquity.
28 Гуйвуулан гэрчлэгч зөв шударгыг доромжилдог. Хар санаатны ам шударга бус явдлыг тараадаг.
19:29 Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
29 Басамжлагчдад шийтгэл болон мунхгуудын нуруунд зориулсан цохилт бэлэн бий.
20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
1 Дарс бол басамжлагч, сархад бол агсамнагч, эдгээрт согтуурсан хэн боловч мэргэн биш.
20:2 The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provokes him to anger sins against his own soul.
2 Хааны хилэгнэл болбоос арслангийн архиралт мэт бөгөөд Түүнийг уурлуулах хүн бүр амьдралаа алдана.
20:3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
3 Эвдрэлцлээс зайлсхийх нь хүмүүнд хүндэтгэл юм. Харин ямар ч мунхаг хүн хэрүүл хийнэ.
20:4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.
4 Залхуу хүн газраа цагт нь хагалахгүй. Тиймээс ургац хураах үед тэр юу ч үгүй хоцорно.
20:5 Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.
5 Хүмүүний зүрхэн дэх төлөвлөгөө гүн ус мэт бөгөөд Ухаантай хүн тэрхүү усыг гадагш гаргана.
20:6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
6 Ихэнх хүмүүс өөр өөрсдийн үнэн зөвийг тунхагладаг ч Итгэл найдвартай нэгнийг хэн олж чадах вэ?
20:7 The just man walks in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
7 Шударга зөв хүн гэм зэмгүй явдаг. Тийм хүний үр хүүхдэд ерөөл оршино.
20:8 A king that sits in the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes.
8 Зөв шударгын ширээнд залрагч хаан харцаараа хамаг хорон муу зүйлийг хөөдөг.
20:9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
9 Хэн "Би зүрх сэтгэлээ цэвэрлэв. Би нүгэл хилэнцээсээ ариусав" хэмээн хэлж чадах билээ?
20:10 Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.
10 Зөрүүтэй хэмжүүр ба дэнсний аль алийг нь ЭЗЭН жигшдэг.
20:11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.
11 Өөрийнхөө үйлсээрээ ба хандлага нь ариун болон зөв байвал залуу хүн өөрийгөө харуулдаг.
20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD has made even both of them.
12 Сонсох чих болон харах нүдний аль алийг нь ЭЗЭН бүтээсэн.
20:13 Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open yours eyes, and you shall be satisfied with bread.
13 Нойрыг бүү хайрла, эс тэгвэл чи ядуу болно. Нүдээ нээ, тэгвэл чи хоол хүнсээр элбэг дэлбэг байна.
20:14 It is nil, it is nil, says the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasts.
14 Худалдан авагч нь "Энэ нь ч муу. Тэр нь ч муу" гэж өөлж голдог атлаа Аваад явсныхаа дараа түүгээрээ сайрхдаг.
20:15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
15 Алт болон тоо томшгүй эрдэнэс байдаг боловч Мэдлэгийг ярих уруул болбоос хамгийн нандин зүйл юм.
20:16 Take his garment that is guarantor for a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
16 Гаднын хүний өмнөөс батлан даагчийн дээлийг тайлж ав. Харь хүний өмнөөс батлан даагч нь өөрөө олз болно.
20:17 Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
17 Буруу замаар олж авсан талх хүнд амттай байж болох юм. Гэвч эцэст нь түүний ам хайргаар дүүрэх болно.
20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.
18 Төлөвлөгөө зохиохдоо зөвлөгөө ав. Мэргэн удирдамжийн дагуу дайт.
20:19 He that goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flatters with his lips.
19 Цуурхал тарааж явдаг хүн нууцыг задруулдаг. Тиймээс хов живтэй бүү орооцолд.
20:20 Whoso curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
20 Эцэг эхийгээ зүхдэг хүний дэнлүү түнэр харанхуйд бөхнө.
20:21 An inheritance may be got hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.
21 Эхэндээ үтэр түргэн олддог өв залгамжлал нь эцэстээ ерөөгдөхгүй.
20:22 Say not you, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save you.
22 "Хорон муугийн хариуг би өгнө дөө" гэж бүү ярь. ЭЗЭНийг хүлээ, Тэр чамайг аварна.
20:23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.
23 Зөрүүтэй дэнсийг ЭЗЭН жигшинэ. Хуурмаг жин сайн зүйл биш ээ.
20:24 Man's activities are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?
24 Хүмүүний алхаа гишгээг ЭЗЭН залдаг. Тэгвэл хүмүүн өөрийнхөө замыг хэрхэн мэдэж чадах билээ?
20:25 It is a snare to the man who devours that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.
25 "Энэ бол ариун" хэмээн хурдан хуумгай хэлээд, Тангарагласныхаа дараа лавлан эргэцүүлэх нь хүмүүний хувьд хавх юм.
20:26 A wise king scatters the wicked, and brings the wheel over them.
26 Мэргэн хаан хар санаатнуудыг шигшиж, Тэдний дээр тээрмийн чулуу эргүүлнэ.
20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
27 Хүний сүнс бол түүний дотоодын мухарт буйг ч нягтлан үздэг ЭЗЭНий дэнлүү билээ.
20:28 Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne supported by mercy.
28 Үнэн хийгээд шударга зан хааныг хамгаалдаг бөгөөд Тэрээр хаан ширээгээ зөв шударгаар барьдаг.
20:29 The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the grey head.
29 Залуусын алдар суу нь тэдний хүч тэнхээ. Өтгөсийн хүндлэл нь тэдний буурал үс.
20:30 The blueness of a wound cleanses away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
30 Шархны ором нь хорон мууг цэвэрлэдэг. Мөн цохилтууд нь зүрхний мухарт ч хүрнэ.
21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it anywhere he will.
1 Хааны зүрх ЭЗЭНий мутарт атгаастай байгаа усны урсгал мэт юм. Тэр хүссэн цагтаа урсгалыг өөрчилдөг.
21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD ponders the hearts.
2 Хүн бүрийн зам өөрийнх нь нүдэнд зөв харагддаг, Харин ЭЗЭН хүмүүний зүрхийг дэнсэлнэ.
21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
3 Шударга хийгээд зөвийг үйлдэх нь ЭЗЭНд өргөлөөс ч илүү таалагддаг.
21:4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
4 Ихэмсэг харц болон бардам зүрх болбоос хар санаатай хүмүүсийн дэнлүү бөгөөд нүгэл ажээ.
21:5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to lack.
5 Хичээл зүтгэлтэй хүний төлөвлөгөөнүүд үнэхээр ашиг тусаа өгнө. Харин адгуу хүн үнэхээр ядууралд хүрнэ.
21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed back and forth of them that seek death.
6 Худалч хэлээр эрдэнэсийг олж авах явдал нь Нүүгээд өнгөрөх үүл ба үхлийн занга мэт буюу.
21:7 The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.
7 Хар санаатнууд шударга үйлдлээс татгалздаг тул Тэдний хүчирхийлэл өөрсдийг нь үгүй хийнэ.
21:8 The way of man is perverse and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
8 Гэмт хүний зам тахир байдаг. Харин гэмгүй хүний хувьд гэвэл түүний хандлага нь зөв шулуун.
21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
9 Хэрүүлч эхнэрийн хамт байшинг хуваалцан сууснаас Дээврийн буланд амьдарсан нь дээр.
21:10 The soul of the wicked desires evil: his neighbour finds no favour in his eyes.
10 Хар санаатны сэтгэл хорон мууг маш их хүснэ. Хөрш нь түүний нүднээс энэрлийг олж харахгүй.
21:11 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.
11 Басамжлагч хүн шийтгэгдэхэд гэнэн нэгэн мэргэн болдог. Харин мэргэн нэгнийг сургамжлавал тэр мэдлэгийг олж авна.
21:12 The righteous man wisely considers the house of the wicked: but God overthrows the wicked for their wickedness.
12 Шударга зөв нэгэн нь хар санаатай хүний гэрийг ажигладаг бөгөөд Хар санаатныг мөхөл уруу авчирна.
21:13 Whoso stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
13 Ядуугийн хашхирахыг эс сонсогч нь Нэгэн цагт өөрөө хашхирах боловч хариуг эс сонсоно.
21:14 A gift in secret pacifies anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.
14 Сэм өгсөн бэлэг уур хилэнг дарна. Өвөрт нь хийсэн хээл хахууль хилэн хорслыг дарна.
21:15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
15 Зөвийг үйлдэх нь зөв шударга хүнд баяр хөөр бол Гэм бурууг хийгчдэд энэ нь айдас болдог.
21:16 The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
16 Ухааны замаас төөрсөн хүн үхэгсдийн цуглаанд байраа эзэлнэ.
21:17 He that loves pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loves wine and oil shall not be rich.
17 Зугаа цэнгэлд дурлагч хүн ядуурна. Дарс ба тосонд дурлагч хүн баян болохгүй.
21:18 The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.
18 Хар санаатай хүн зөв шударга нэгний төлөөх золиос бөгөөд Зальхай хүн цэх шулуун нэгний оронд байх болно.
21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
19 Хэрүүлч, уур уцаартай эмэгтэйтэй хамт байснаас цөлд амьдарсан нь дээр.
21:20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spends it up.
20 Мэргэн хүний гэрт үнэт эрдэнэс ба тос бий. Харин мунхаг хүн эдгээрийг залгидаг.
21:21 He that follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honour.
21 Зөв шударга ба үнэнийг хайдаг хүн нь Амь, зөв шударга, хүндэтгэлийг олдог.
21:22 A wise man scales the city of the mighty, and casts down the strength of the confidence thereof.
22 Мэргэн хүн хүчтэнүүдийн хот уруу ч дайрч, Тэдний найдаж байсан бат хэрмийг ч нураана.
21:23 Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.
23 Ам хэлээ захирдаг хүн аюулаас сэтгэлээ хамгаална.
21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who deals in proud wrath.
24 Ичгүүргүй бардам зангаар үйлдэгч нэгний нэр гэвээс "Бардам", "Их зант", "Басамжлагч" зэрэг нь аж.
21:25 The desire of the slothful kills him; for his hands refuse to labour.
25 Залхуугийн хүслэн түүнийг үхэлд хүргэнэ. Учир нь түүний гар ажиллахаас татгалздаг.
21:26 He covers greedily all the day long: but the righteous gives and spares not.
26 Тэрээр бүхэл өдөржингөө шунахайран хүснэ. Харин шударга зөв хүн гар таталгүй өгдөг.
21:27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he brings it with a wicked mind?
27 Хар санаатны өргөл нь ч бузар бол Хорон муу санаа өвөрлөн өгсөн түүний өргөл ямар их бузар зүйл байх билээ!
21:28 A false witness shall perish: but the man that hears speaks constantly.
28 Хуурамч гэрч мөхөх болно. Харин үнэнийг сонсогч хүн мөнхөд ярих болно.
21:29 A wicked man hardens his face: but as for the upright, he directs his way.
29 Хар санаатай хүн догшин дүр эсгэнэ. Харин шударга шулуун хүн замаа цэх байлгахыг хичээнэ.
21:30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
30 ЭЗЭНийг эсэргүүцдэг мэргэн ухаан, оюун ухаан, зөвлөгөө гэж ер байхгүй.
21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
31 Хүлэг морьдыг тулаанд мордоход бэлэн болгосон ч Ялалт нь ЭЗЭНий гарт байдаг.
22:1 A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
1 Сайн нэр нь агуу баялгаас ч дээр. Таалал нь алт мөнгөнөөс ч дээр.
22:2 The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
2 Баян ба ядуу хүний нийтлэг зүйл гэвээс Хэн хэнийг нь ЭЗЭН бүтээсэн явдал юм.
22:3 A prudent man forsees the evil, and hides himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
3 Хэрсүү хүн хорон мууг олж хараад, түүнээс зайлдаг. Харин гэнэн хүн түүн уруу явсаар, тэгснийхээ төлөө шийтгэгддэг.
22:4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
4 Даруу зан хийгээд ЭЗЭНээс эмээхүйн шагнал болбоос Амь, алдар хүнд, эд баялаг юм.
22:5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse: he that does keep his soul shall be far from them.
5 Замаасаа гажсан хүний замд үүргэнэ ба занга бий. Өөрийгөө хамгаалдаг хүн тэдгээрээс холуур явдаг.
22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
6 Явах ёстой замаар нь замнуулахын тулд хүүхдийг сурга. Тэрээр өтөлсөн ч тэр замыг орхихгүй.
22:7 The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
7 Баян хүн ядуу хүнийг захирдаг. Өртөн зээлдүүлэгчийнхээ зарц болдог.
22:8 He that sows iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
8 Шударга бус явдлыг тариалагч нь хов хоосонг хураана. Түүний уур хилэнгийн саваа мод ч алга болно.
22:9 He that has a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he gives of his bread to the poor.
9 Өгөөмөр сэтгэлтэй хүн ерөөгдөх болно. Учир нь тийм хүн ядууст хоолноосоо өгдөг.
22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
10 Басамжлагчийг холдуул. Тэгвэл эвдрэлцэл зайлж одон, хэрүүл болон үл хүндэтгэх байдал ч алга болно.
22:11 He that loves pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.
11 Цэвэр зүрх сэтгэлийг хайрлагч болон үг яриа нь нигүүлсэнгүй нэгэнд Хаан хүн хүртэл анд нөхөр болдог.
22:12 The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthrows the words of the transgressor.
12 ЭЗЭНий мэлмий мэдлэгийг хамгаалдаг. Харин Тэр зальхай хүний үгсийг үл тоомсорлодог.
22:13 The slothful man says, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.
13 Лазан хүн "Гадаа арслан байна. Би гудамжинд гарвал алуулах байх" гэдэг.
22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.
14 Садар эмийн ам гүн цооног юм. ЭЗЭНд хараагдсан хүн тэр цооногт унана.
22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
15 Мунхаг байдал хүүхдийн зүрхэнд уяастай байдаг. Сахилгын саваа мод түүнийг мунхаглалаас холдуулна.
22:16 He that oppresses the poor to increase his riches, and he that gives to the rich, shall surely come to lack.
16 Өөртөө илүүг олохын тулд ядууг зовоодог хүн болон баянд бялдуучлагч хүн үгүйрэн хоосорно.
22:17 Bow down yours ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply yours heart unto my knowledge.
17 Чих тавин мэргэдийн үгсийг сонс. Миний мэдлэгт ухаанаа хандуул.
22:18 For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; they shall likewise be fitted in your lips.
18 Хэрэв чи эдгээрийг цээжиндээ хадгалж, энэ бүхнийг уруулан дээрээ бэлэн байлгах аваас тааламжтай байх болно.
22:19 That your trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to you this day, even to you.
19 Тийнхүү чамайг ЭЗЭНд итгээсэй гэсэндээ би үүнийг өнөөдөр заалаа.
22:20 Have not I written to you excellent things in counsels and knowledge,
20 Би чамд зориулж, мэргэн ухааны хийгээд зөвлөмж үгс болох гучин зүйр үг бичиж үлдээсэн биш үү?
22:21 That I might make you know the certainty of the words of truth; that you might answer the words of truth to them that send unto you?
21 Ингэсэн нь үнэний үгсийг чамд мэдүүлж, Чамайг илгээсэн нэгэнд чи зөв хариу өгч чадахын тулд юм шүү.
22:22 Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:
22 Ядуу хүнийг ядуу гэж бүү дээрэмд. Зовж зүдэрсэн нэгнийг дааман хаалган дээр бүү дарла!
22:23 For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
23 Учир нь ЭЗЭН ядуу хүмүүсийн хэрэгт санаа тавих бөгөөд Тэднийг дээрэмдэгчдийн амийг авна.
22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man you shall not go:
24 Уур хилэнд баригдсан хүнтэй болон түргэн зантай хүнтэй бүү нийл.
22:25 Lest you learn his ways, and get a snare to your soul.
25 Эс тэгвээс чи түүн шиг болж, өөрийгөө занганд оруулж магадгүй шүү.
22:26 Be not you one of them that shake hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.
26 Бусдын өмнөөс гар барин амлаж, Мөн өртэй хүний төлөө батлан даалт гаргадаг хүн байх хэрэггүй.
22:27 If you have nothing to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?
27 Хэрэв чамд өрөнд нь өгөх зүйл байхгүй юм бол Унтаж буй ор дэвсгэрийг чинь яагаад тэр авах ёстой юм бэ?
22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set.
28 Эцэг өвгөдийнхөө тогтоосон эртний хил хязгаарыг бүү өөрчил.
22:29 See you a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
29 Ажилдаа чадмаг хүнийг чи харсан уу? Тийм хүн хаадын өмнө зогсоно. Тэр нэр төргүй хүмүүсийн өмнө зогсохгүй.
23:1 When you sit to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before you:
1 Захирагчийн хамт зоог барихаар суухдаа өөрийнхөө өмнө юу байгааг сайтар ажигла.
23:2 And put a knife to your throat, if you be a man given to appetite.
2 Зооглох их хүслэн байгаа бол хоолойндоо хутга тулга.
23:3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful food.
3 Түүний амттаныг бүү хүс. Учир нь тэр хоол нь хуурмаг юм.
23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from yours own wisdom.
4 Баян болохын тулд нойр хоолгүй зүтгэх хэрэггүй. Энэ бодлоо орхи.
23:5 Will you set yours eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
5 Нүд чинь эд хөрөнгөнд тусмагц тэр нь алга болно. Учир нь гэвээс эд хөрөнгөнд жигүүр ургадаг бөгөөд Тэр нь тэнгэрт нисэн дүүлэх бүргэд мэт ажгуу.
23:6 Eat you not the bread of him that has an evil eye, neither desire you his dainty meats:
6 Харамч хүний талхнаас бүү ид, амттаныг нь бүү хүс.
23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, says he to you; but his heart is not with you.
7 Учир нь тэр дотроо боддогтойгоо адил юм. "Ид! Уу!" гэж тэр хүн хэлдэг боловч Зүрх сэтгэл нь чамаас хол байдаг юм.
23:8 The morsel which you have eaten shall you vomit up, and lose your sweet words.
8 Чи идсэн үмх хоолоо бөөлжиж гаргах болно. Найрсаг үгс чинь ч талаар өнгөрнө.
23:9 Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
9 Мунхгийн чихэнд юм дуулгаад хэрэггүй. Учир нь тэрээр мэргэн үгсийг чинь огт хайхрахгүй.
23:10 Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:
10 Урьдын хил заагаа бүү өөрчил. Өнчин өрөөсөн хүний газарт халдаж үл болно.
23:11 For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with you.
11 Учир нь тэдний Золигч үлэмж хүчтэй. Тэрээр тэдний өмнөөс чамайг эсэргүүцнэ.
23:12 Apply yours heart unto instruction, and yours ears to the words of knowledge.
12 Зүрх сэтгэлээ сахилгад, чихээ мэдлэгийн үгэнд хандуул.
23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if you beat him with the rod, he shall not die.
13 Хүүхдээсээ сахилга батыг холдуулж болохгүй. Чи түүнийг саваагаар жанчлаа гээд хүүхэд чинь үхчихгүй.
23:14 You shall beat him with the rod, and shall deliver his soul from hell.
14 Чи хүүхдэдээ савааны амт үзүүлж бай. Түүний сүнсийг Үхэгсдийн орноос аварна.
23:15 My son, if yours heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
15 Хүү минь, хэрэв зүрх чинь мэргэн байвал Миний зүрх ч гэсэн баяр жаргалтай байх болно.
23:16 Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when your lips speak right things.
16 Мөн уруул чинь зөв зүйлсийг ярихад, Би үнэхээр баярлах болно.
23:17 Let not yours heart envy sinners: but be you in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
17 Чиний зүрх нүгэлтнүүдэд бүү атаархаг. Харин ЭЗЭНээс ямагт эмээж амьдар.
23:18 For surely there is an end; and yours expectation shall not be cut off.
18 Ирээдүй гэж үнэхээр бий. Итгэл найдвар чинь ор тас мартагдахгүй билээ.
23:19 Hear you, my son, and be wise, and guide yours heart in the way.
19 Хүү минь, сонсоод, мэргэн байгтун. Зүрхээ зөв зам дээр байлга.
23:20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
20 Дарсыг хэт их уудаг, эсвэл махыг хэт их иддэг хүмүүсээс зай барь.
23:21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.
21 Учир нь дарсыг хэтрүүлж уугсад ба цадахаа эс мэдэгсэд нь үгүйрэн хоосрох бөгөөд Нойрмог байдал тэднийг ноорхой хувцастай хоцрооно.
23:22 Hearken unto your father that brings forth you, and despise not your mother when she is old.
22 Төрсөн эцгээ сонс. Эхийгээ өтлөхөд нь бүү үл тоомсорлоорой.
23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
23 Үнэнийг худалдаж авсугай. Харин зарж үл болно. Тэрчлэн мэргэн ухаан, заавар болон оюун ухааныг олж ав.
23:24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that bring forths a wise child shall have joy of him.
24 Зөв шударга хүний эцэг үнэнхүү баярлана. Мэргэн хүүг олж авсан хүн түүндээ жаргана.
23:25 Your father and your mother shall be glad, and she that bare you shall rejoice.
25 Эцэг, эх чинь жаргалыг эдлэх болтугай. Чамайг төрүүлсэн тэр эмэгтэй баяр хөөртэй байх болтугай.
23:26 My son, give me yours heart, and let yours eyes observe my ways.
26 Хүү минь, зүрх сэтгэлээ надад өг. Нүд чинь замыг минь ажиглаад баярлаг.
23:27 For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit.
27 Учир нь садар самуун эм болбоос гүн цооног бөгөөд Завхай эм болбоос нарийн худаг аж.
23:28 She also lies in wait as for a prey, and increases the transgressors among men.
28 Тэр дээрэмчин мэт хэн нэгнийг отож хүмүүсийн дундах итгэлгүй хүмүүсийг олшруулдаг.
23:29 Who has woe? who has sorrow? who has contentions? who has babbling? who has wounds without cause? who has redness of eyes?
29 Хэн золгүй вэ? Хэн зовиурлана вэ? Хэн хэрүүл хийнэ вэ? Хэн гомдоно вэ? Хэн шалтгаангүйгээр шарх сорви олов? Хэн улаан нүдлэв?
23:30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
30 Тэд бол дарстай зууралдагсад ба холимог дарсыг амтлахаар одогсод юм.
23:31 Look not you upon the wine when it is red, when it gives his colour in the cup, when it moves itself aright.
31 Улаан байхад нь, Аяган дотор хөөсрөн шуугиж байхад нь, Доошоо зөөлөн урсаж байхад нь, Дарс уруу бүү хар.
23:32 At the last it bites like a serpent, and stings like an adder.
32 Эцэст нь тэр хорт могой шиг хатгах болно.
23:33 Yours eyes shall behold strange women, and yours heart shall utter perverse things.
33 Нүд чинь элдвийн юм үзэж, ухаан санаа чинь самуурна.
23:34 Yea, you shall be as he that lies down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lies upon the top of a mast.
34 Чи тэнгисийн мандал дээр хэвтэж байгаа, эсвэл Усан онгоцны шургаагны үзүүр дээр нойрсож байгаа хүн шиг байх болно.
23:35 They have stricken me, shall you say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.
35 Тийнхүү чи "Тэд намайг зодож л байсан. Би бэртсэнгүй. Нүдээд л байсан. Би мэдээгүй. Би хэзээ сэрэх бол? Дахиад уух юмсан" гэж хэлнэ.
24:1 Be not you envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.
1 Хорон муу хүмүүст бүү атаарх. Тэдэнтэй хамт байхыг бүү хүс.
24:2 For their heart studies destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
2 Учир нь тэд хүчирхийллийг сэддэг бөгөөд Тэдний уруул нь гай зовлонгийн үгсийг л ярина.
24:3 Through wisdom is an house built; and by understanding it is established:
3 Гэр орон мэргэн ухаанаар сүндэрлэж, оюун ухаанаар тогтдог.
24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
4 Мэдлэгийн хүчээр өрөөнүүд чинь эрхэм нандин баялгаар дүүрнэ.
24:5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increases strength.
5 Мэргэн хүн чадалтай. Ухаантай хүн хүчээ бататгана.
24:6 For by wise counsel you shall make your war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
6 Мэргэн удирдамжийн дагуу чи дайт. Олон зөвлөгчийн дотор ялалт бий.
24:7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: he opens not his mouth in the gate.
7 Мэргэн ухаан нь мунхагт дэндүү өндөр юм. Тэрээр хаалганы дэргэд амаа нээхгүй.
24:8 He that devises to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.
8 Хорон мууг хийхээр төлөвлөдөг нэгнийг хүмүүс хорлогч гэж дуудна.
24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
9 Мунхаглалыг сэдэх нь нүгэл. Басамжлагч нэгэнд хүмүүс дургүйцдэг.
24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
10 Хэрэв чи бэрх цагт сул дорой байваас хүч тэнхээ чинь сул аж.
24:11 If you forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
11 Үхэлд баригдсан хүмүүсийг авар. Алагдах газрынхаа зүг гэлдрэх хүмүүсийг буцааж авчир.
24:12 If you says, Behold, we knew it not; does not he that ponders the heart consider it? and he that keeps your soul, does not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
12 "Бид энэ талаар мэдээгүй" гэж чи хэлж байгаа бол Зүрхийг Дэнслэгч үүнийг анхааралдаа авахгүй гэж үү? Сүнсийг чинь хамгаалагч энэ бүхнийг мэдэхгүй гэж үү? Мөн хийсэн үйлийнх нь хариуг Тэр хүмүүнд өгөхгүй гэж үү?
24:13 My son, eat you honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to your taste:
13 Зөгийн бал ид, учир нь тэр сайн юм. Сархинагийн бал тун амттай шүү.
24:14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto your soul: when you have found it, then there shall be a reward, and your expectation shall not be cut off.
14 Мэргэн ухаан нь сэтгэлд чинь үүнтэй адил гэдгийг мэд. Хэрэв түүнийг олох аваас чамд ирээдүй байгаа бөгөөд Итгэл найдвар чинь ор тас мартагдахгүй.
24:15 Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
15 Хар санаатан чи, Зөв шударга хүний гэр орны эсрэг санаа өвөрлөөд бүү отож хэвт. Алжаалаа тайлдаг газрыг нь бүү сүйтгэ.
24:16 For a just man falls seven times, and rises up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
16 Учир нь зөв шударга хүн долоо бүдрэвч сэхнэ. Харин хар санаатай хүн гай тохиох цагт нэгмөсөн бүдэрнэ.
24:17 Rejoice not when yours enemy falls, and let not yours heart be glad when he stumbles:
17 Чиний дайсан унахад баярлах хэрэггүй. Бүдрэхэд нь зүрх чинь бүү баярлаг.
24:18 Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
18 Эс тэгвээс ЭЗЭН үүнийг хараад, таалахгүй тул, Дайснаас чинь уур хилэнгээ буцаан авч юу магад.
24:19 Fret not yourself because of evil men, neither be you envious at the wicked:
19 Хорон мууг үйлдэгсдээс болж сэтгэлдээ бүү тавгүйрх. Хар санаатанд бүү атаарх.
24:20 For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
20 Учир нь хорон муу хүн ирээдүйгүй. Хар санаатны дэнлүү бөхнө.
24:21 My son, fear you the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
21 Хүү минь, ЭЗЭНээс болон хаанаас эмээгтүн. Тэднийг эсэргүүцэгч нартай бүү нийл.
24:22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knows the ruin of them both?
22 Учир нь тэдний гамшгууд гэнэт гарч ирнэ. Хэн хэнээс нь ирэх эвдрэл сүйрлийг хэн мэдэх билээ?
24:23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
23 Эдгээр нь ч гэсэн мэргэн хүмүүсийн үгс юм. Шүүх дээр тал засах нь сайн зүйл биш.
24:24 He that says unto the wicked, You are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall detest him:
24 Хар санаатай хүнд "Чинийх зөв шударга" гэж хэлэгчийг хүмүүс зүхэх бөгөөд Улс үндэстнээрээ түүнд зэвүүцнэ.
24:25 But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
25 Харин хар санаатныг зэмлэгчдэд талархал байх болно. Тэдний дээр сайн ерөөл оршино.
24:26 Every man shall kiss his lips that gives a right answer.
26 Зөв хариулт өгсөн хүн уруул дээр үнсэж буй хэрэг.
24:27 Prepare your work without, and make it fit for yourself in the field; and afterwards build yours house.
27 Байшин барихаасаа өмнө гаднах ажлаа цэгцэлж, Хээр талд буй юмсаа бэлэн болго.
24:28 Be not a witness against your neighbour without cause; and deceive not with your lips.
28 Шалтгаангүйгээр хөршийнхөө эсрэг гэрчилж болохгүй. Уруулаараа бүү мэхэл.
24:29 Say not, I will do so to him as he has done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
29 "Тэр надад яаж хандсан шиг би мөн түүнд тэгж хандана. Тэр шангаа хүртэнэ дээ" гэж бүү хэл.
24:30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
30 Залхуугийн тариан талбай болон ухаангүй хүний усан үзмийн цэцэрлэгийн дэргэдүүр би өнгөрөв.
24:31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
31 Тэгтэл бүх талбай нь хогийн ургамалд баригдсан, Халгайгаар дүүрсэн ба чулуун хашаа нь нурсан байлаа.
24:32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
32 Би харуутаа л энэ дүр зургийг өөр дээрээ тусгаж үзээд, эндээс сургамж авав.
24:33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
33 "Жаахан унтчихъя. Жаахан дугхийчихье. Жаахан гараа хумхин амраадахъя" гэсээр байтал
24:34 So shall your poverty come as one that travels; and your lack as an armed man.
34 ядуурал чинь хулгайч мэт ирж, хүслэн чинь зэвсэглэсэн хүн мэт болох вий.
25:1 These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.
1 Эдгээр нь бас Соломоны сургаалт үгс юм. Энэхүү сургаалт үгсийг Иудагийн хаан Хезекиагийн хүмүүс нэгтгэн сийрүүлэв.
25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
2 Хэрэг явдлыг нууцлах нь Бурханы суу алдар. Харин тэдгээрийг олж илрүүлэх нь хаадын суу алдар.
25:3 The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.
3 Тэнгэр нь өндөрт, газар нь нам дорд зориулагдсан мэт хаадын зүрх сэтгэл ойлгогдошгүй.
25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
4 Мөнгийг хольцноос нь цэвэршүүл. Тэгвэл мөнгөний дархны урлах сав бэлэн болно.
25:5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
5 Хааны өмнөөс хар санаатныг холдуулсугай. Тэгвээс хаан ширээ нь зөв шударгад тулгуурлан босно.
25:6 Put not forth yourself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:
6 Хааны өмнө өөрийгөө бүү өргөмжил. Аугаа хүмүүсийн байранд бүү зогс.
25:7 For better it is that it be said unto you, Come up here; than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince whom yours eyes have seen.
7 Нүдэнд чинь үзэгдэж буй ноёдын өмнө чи дорд орсноос, "Дээшээ морилогтун" гэж хэлэгдсэн нь дээр биз ээ.
25:8 Go not forth hastily to strive, lest you know not what to do in the end thereof, when your neighbour has put you to shame.
8 Хэн нэгнийг шүүн хэлэлцэхээр бүү яар. Хэрэв тэгвэл хөрш чинь чамайг эвгүй байдалд оруулбал чи яах юм бэ?
25:9 Debate your cause with your neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:
9 Өөрийн хэргээ хөрштэйгөө л шийд. Бусдын нууцыг бүү задруул.
25:10 Lest he that hears it put you to shame, and yours ill repute turn not away.
10 Эс тэгвэл үүнийг сонссон хүн чамайг буруутгах вий. Чиний тухай хорон муу мэдээ хааяагүй тарна шүү.
25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
11 Цагаа олсон зөв үг болбоос мөнгөн хээ угалзны дунд шигтгэсэн алтан алим мэт буюу.
25:12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
12 Мэргэн зэмлэгчийн үгс болбоос Чих тавин сонсогч нэгэнд шижир алтан гоёл ба алтан ээмэг мэт буюу.
25:13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refreshes the soul of his masters.
13 Итгэлт элч болбоос өөрийг нь явуулагсдад ургацын үеэрх хурын сэрүү таталт мэт байдаг. Тэрээр эздийнхээ сэтгэлийг тэнхрүүлнэ.
25:14 Whoso boasts himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
14 Үл өгдөг атлаа бэлгүүдээрээ сайрхагч болбоос хургүй үүл ба салхи мэт буюу.
25:15 By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaks the bone.
15 Захирагч хүнийг тэвчээрээр ятгаж болно. Уян хатан хэл ясыг ч хугалж чадна.
25:16 Have you found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for you, lest you be filled therewith, and vomit it.
16 Чи зөгийн бал олсон уу? Хэтрүүлээд бөөлжихгүйн тулд хэрэгцээнийхээ хэрээр л түүнийг ид.
25:17 Withdraw your foot from your neighbour's house; lest he be weary of you, and so hate you.
17 Хөршийнхөө гэрт цөөхөн оч. Эс тэгвэл гэрийн эзэн чамаас залхаж, чамайг үзэн ядах болно.
25:18 A man that bears false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.
18 Хөршийнхөө эсрэг худал мэдүүлэг өгдөг хүн болбоос Илд, хурц үзүүртэй сум, шийдэм мэт буюу.
25:19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.
19 Хэцүү цагт итгэлгүй хүнд найдах нь янгинах шүд, доголон хөл мэт буюу.
25:20 As he that takes away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon alkali, so is he that sings songs to an heavy heart.
20 Зовж шаналсан зүрхэнд дуу дуулдаг хүн болбоос шархан дээр давс үйрүүлэх мэт, эсвэл хүйтэн өдөр хувцсаа тайлаад явах хүн мэт буюу.
25:21 If yours enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
21 Хэрэв дайсан чинь өлссөн бол түүнд идэх хоол өг. Цангасан бол уух юм өг.
25:22 For you shall heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward you.
22 Учир нь ингэснээр чи түүний толгой дээр шатаж буй нүүрс овоолж байна гэсэн үг бөгөөд ЭЗЭН чамайг шагнана.
25:23 The north wind drives away rain: so does an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
23 Умраас үлээх салхи хур бороо авчирдаг. Хов живтэй хэл ууртай царайг авчирна.
25:24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.
24 Хэрүүлч эхнэрийн хамт байшинг хуваалцан сууснаас дээврийн буланд амьдарсан нь хавьгүй дээр.
25:25 As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
25 Ядарч туйлдсан сэтгэлд хүйтэн ус ямар байдаг шиг алс холын газраас ирэх сайн мэдээ тийм байна.
25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
26 Шударга зөв хүн хар санаатны өмнө нүгэлд унах нь бохирдсон худаг бөгөөд Булингартсан булаг мэт буюу.
25:27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.
27 Зөгийн балыг хэтрүүлж идэх нь сайн зүйл биш. Алдар нэрийнхээ хойноос хөөцөлдөх нь ч алдар биш ээ.
25:28 He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
28 Өөрийнхөө сүнсийг захирдаггүй хүн бол Эргэн тойрондоо хэрэм босгоогүй, нурсан хот мэт буюу.
26:1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not suitable for a fool.
1 Зун цас орох ба ургац хураах үеэр бороо орохын адил Мунхаг хүнд хүндэтгэл үзүүлэх нь үл зохино.
26:2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
2 Далавчаа дэвэх бор шувуу болон нисэн одох хараацайтай адил шалтгаангүй хараал намждаггүй.
26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.
3 Ташуур моринд, хазаар илжгэнд зориулагддаг бол Саваа нь мунхгуудын нуруунд зориулагджээ.
26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like unto him.
4 Мунхагт мунхгаар нь бүү хариул. Эс тэгвэл чи түүнтэй адил болно.
26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
5 Мунхаг хүн өөрийгөө цэцэн мэргэнд тооцохгүй байхын тулд түүнд мунхгаар нь хариултыг өг.
26:6 He that sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off the feet, and drinks damage.
6 Мунхгийн гараар зурвас хүргүүлэгч нь хөлөө тайрч, хүчирхийллийг ууж буй хэрэг.
26:7 The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools.
7 Мунхгийн аман дахь сургаалт үгс нь суунги хүний хэрэгцээгүй хөлтэй адил болой.
26:8 As he that binds a stone in a sling, so is he that gives honour to a fool.
8 Мунхаг хүнийг өргөмжлөгч нь дүүгүүрт чулуу хийж буйтай адил болой.
26:9 As a thorn goes up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouths of fools.
9 Мунхгийн аман дахь сургаалт үгс нь согтуугийн гарт шаасан өргөстэй адил болой.
26:10 The great God that formed all things both rewards the fool, and rewards transgressors.
10 Мунхгийг болон өнгөрөн явагсдыг дуудаж хөлсөлдөг хүн бол Хүн бүрийг шархдуулдаг харваачтай адил юм.
26:11 As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly.
11 Нохой бөөлжсөө долоодогчлон мунхаг хүн мунхаглалаа давтана.
26:12 See you a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
12 Өөрөө өөрийнхөө нүдэнд мэргэн байдаг хүнийг чи үзсэн үү? Мунхаг хүнд тийм нэгнээс ч илүү засрах найдлага бий.
26:13 The slothful man says, There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.
13 Залхуу хүн "Замд арслан байна. Задгай талбайд догшин арслан байна" гэдэг.
26:14 As the door turns upon his hinges, so does the slothful upon his bed.
14 Хаалга нугасаараа нээгдэж хаагддаг шиг Залхуу хүн орон дээрээ эргэж хөрвөөнө.
26:15 The slothful hides his hand in his bosom; it grieves him to bring it again to his mouth.
15 Залхуу хүн аяганд гараа хүргээд, Эргүүлээд амандаа хүргэх гэж цөхөрнө.
26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.
16 Мунхаг нь өөрийгөө ухаалаг хариу өгч чадах долоон хүнээс ч илүү мэргэн хэмээдэг.
26:17 He that passes by, and meddles with strife belonging not to him, is like one that takes a dog by the ears.
17 Өөрт нь хамаагүй хэрүүл маргаанд хөндлөнгөөс оролцогч болбоос Нохойг чихнээс нь зуурч авагчтай адил буюу.
26:18 As a mad man who casts firebrands, arrows, and death,
18 Галтай мод болон үхлийн нумыг шидэгч галзуу хүн байдаг.
26:19 So is the man that deceives his neighbour, and says, Am not I in sport?
19 Хөршийгөө мэхэлчихээд, "Би тоглосон юм" гэх хүн тийм нэгэнтэй адил буюу.
26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goes out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceases.
20 Түлээ дутагдвал гал унтарна. Хов жив зөөгч байхгүй бол хэрүүл маргаан намжина.
26:21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.
21 Модны нүүрс улайссан цогийг бий болгож, Түлээ нь галыг өрдөхийн адил хэрүүлч хүн эвдрэлцлийг өдөөнө.
26:22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
22 Хов зөөгчийн үгс тансаг идээ будаа мэт байх бөгөөд ходоодны мухарт ч хүрнэ.
26:23 Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.
23 Дүрэлзэх уруул ба хорон зүрх болбоос Мөнгөний хольцоор өнгөлсөн шавар сав суулга мэт буюу.
26:24 He that hates dissembles with his lips, and lays up deceit within him;
24 Үзэн яддаг хүн түүнийгээ уруулаараа нуудаг ч заль мэхээ зүрхэндээ хадгалдаг.
26:25 When he speaks fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
25 Тэр хүн нигүүлсэнгүй ярьсан ч түүнд бүү итгэ. Учир нь зүрхэнд нь долоон жигшүүрт зүйл байдаг.
26:26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be showed before the whole congregation.
26 Хэдийгээр заль мэхээр үзэн ядалт нь баганын цаана халхлагддаг ч Түүний хар санаа нь цугларагсдын өмнө илчлэгдэнэ.
26:27 Whoso digs a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolls a stone, it will return upon him.
27 Нүхийг ухагч хүн өөрөө түүн уруугаа унана. Өөдөө шидсэн чулуу өөрийн толгой дээр унана.
26:28 A lying tongue hates those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth works ruin.
28 Худалч хэл хуурагдагсдыг үзэн яддаг. Бялдууч ам сүйрлийг авчирдаг.
27:1 Boast not yourself of tomorrow; for you know not what a day may bring forth.
1 Маргаашаар бүү сайрх. Учир нь маргааш юу болохыг чи үл мэднэ.
27:2 Let another man praise you, and not yours own mouth; a stranger, and not yours own lips.
2 Өөрийн чинь ам бус харин өөр хүн, уруул чинь бус харин гаднын хүн чамайг магтаг.
27:3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both.
3 Хад чулуу хүнд ба элс ч жин татна. Харин мунхгийн өдөөн хатгалга энэ хоёроос ч хүнд аж.
27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?
4 Хилэн бол хэрцгий, уур бол өршөөлгүй. Харин хэн атаархлыг тэсвэрлэн зогсож чадах вэ?
27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.
5 Далдлагдсан хайраас ил зэмлэл нь хавьгүй дээр.
27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
6 Анд нөхрийн чинь учруулах шарх итгэмжтэй, Харин дайсны чинь үнсэлт заль мэхтэй юм.
27:7 The full soul loathes an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
7 Цатгалан хүн зөгийн балыг ч хүсдэггүй. Харин өлссөн хүнд гашуун юм ч амттай санагддаг.
27:8 As a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man that wanders from his place.
8 Гэр орноосоо холдогч хүн болбоос үүрээ орхисон жигүүртэн мэт буюу.
27:9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so does the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
9 Анхилуун үнэрт тос ба сүрчиг нь зүрхийг баясгадаг бол Хүний зөвлөгөө анд нөхөрт нь амтат бурам мэт буюу.
27:10 Yours own friend, and your father's friend, forsake not; neither go into your brother's house in the day of your calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
10 Өөрийн анд нөхрийг болон эцгийнхээ анд нөхрийг бүү орхи. Гай гамшиг чамд тохиолдоход ах дүүгийнхээ гэрийг бүү зорь. Хол суугаа ахаас чинь ойр буй хөрш чинь дээр.
27:11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproaches me.
11 Хүү минь, мэргэн байж, зүрхийг минь баярлуул. Энэ нь намайг муулагчид хариу барьж чадахын тулд юм.
27:12 A prudent man forsees the evil, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
12 Хэрсүү хүн хорон мууг хараад түүнээс зайлж чаддаг бол Гэнэн хүн нь угтан явсаар байгаад шангаа хүртдэг.
27:13 Take his garment that is guarantor for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
13 Гаднын хүний өмнөөс батлан даагчийн дээлийг тайлж ав. Харь хүний өмнөөс батлан даагч нь өөрийгөө олз болго.
27:14 He that blesses his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.
14 Өглөө эртлэн чанга дуугаар анд нөхрөө ерөөдөг хүн Түүнд хараал хэлж байгаатай адил тооцогдоно.
27:15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
15 Гэмэргэн эм болбоос бороошсон өдөр ус тасралтгүй дуслахтай адил буюу.
27:16 Whosoever hides her hides the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which betrayed itself.
16 Тийм эмэгтэйг номхтгох нь салхийг зогсоох болон гараараа тосыг атгаж авахтай адил буюу.
27:17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
17 Төмөр төмрийг ирлэдэг. Тийнхүү хүн хүнээ хурцалдаг.
27:18 Whoso keeps the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waits on his master shall be honoured.
18 Инжрийн модыг арчлагч үр жимсийг нь идэх болно. Эзэндээ санаа тавигч нь хүндлэгдэнэ.
27:19 As in water face answers to face, so the heart of man to man.
19 Усны мандалд хүн царайгаа харахын адил хүмүүний зүрх түүний дүр төрхийг харуулна.
27:20 Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.
20 Үхэгсдийн орон ба Сүйрэл хэзээ ч цаддаггүй шиг хүмүүний нүд хэзээ ч ханахгүй.
27:21 As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.
21 Мөнгө ба алтыг галын дөлөөр цэвэршүүлдэг бол хүмүүнийг өөрт нь нийцсэн магтаалаар шалгана.
27:22 Though you should bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.
22 Үр тариатай хамт мунхгийг ууранд хийгээд нүдүүрээр нүдсэн ч мунхаг нь үл арилна.
27:23 Be you diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds.
23 Мал сүргийнхээ байдлыг сайн мэд. Хонин сүрэгтээ анхаарал сайн тавь.
27:24 For riches are not for ever: and does the crown endure to every generation?
24 Учир нь эд баялаг мөнх биш. Хааны титэм ч үе дамжихгүй.
27:25 The hay appears, and the tender grass shows itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.
25 Өвс байхгүй болоход, шинэ ногоо цухуйж, уулан дээрх өвс цуглуулагдаж,
27:26 The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of the field.
26 Хурганы арьс чинь хувцас болж, ямаанууд чинь чамд газрын өртгийг өгнө.
27:27 And you shall have goats' milk enough for your food, for the food of your household, and for the maintenance for your maidens.
27 Чамайг болон гэр бүлийг чинь хооллохоор бас зарц охидыг чинь тэжээхээр чамд ямааны сүү элбэг дэлбэг байх болно.
28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursues: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
1 Хэн ч мөрдөж мөшгөөгүй байхад хар санаатан зугтдаг бол Зөв шударга хүн арслан мэт зоригтой.
28:2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
2 Хууль захирамжийг биелүүлэхээс татгалздаг улс орон олон захирагчидтай байдаг. Харин ухаалаг агаад мэдлэгтэй хүний хүчинд улс орон удаан тогтоно.
28:3 A poor man that oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which left no food.
3 Эгэл дорд хүмүүсийг зовоодог ядуу хүн хоол хүнс үлдээлгүй тариаланг усанд автуулах аадар бороотой адил ажээ.
28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
4 Хуулийг орхигдуулдаг хүмүүс хар санаатныг магтдаг. Харин хуулийг сахигсад хар санаатныг эсэргүүцдэг.
28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
5 Хар санаатнууд шударга ёсыг ойлгохгүй. Харин ЭЗЭНийг хайгч нар бүх юмыг ойлгодог.
28:6 Better is the poor that walks in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
6 Замаас гажсан баян байснаас үнэнч шударга дотор алхагч ядуу байсан нь дээр.
28:7 Whoso keeps the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shames his father.
7 Хуулийг сахигч нь хэрсүү хүү мөн. Харин ховдог хүмүүстэй нөхөрлөгч нь өөрийнхөө эцгийг гутаадаг.
28:8 He that by interest and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
8 Мөнгө хүүлэх замаар өмч хөрөнгөө арвижуулагч нь Ядуусыг нигүүлсдэг нэгний төлөө үүнийг хурааж буй хэрэг.
28:9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
9 Хуулийг үл сонсдог хүний залбирал нь ч хүртэл жигшүүртэй.
28:10 Whoso causes the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
10 Цэх шулуун явагсдыг хорон муу замд хөтлөгч этгээд нь өөрийнхөө ухсан нүхэнд өөрөө унана. Харин гэм зэмгүй хүн сайныг өвлөнө.
28:11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that has understanding searches him out.
11 Баян хүн өөрийгөө мэргэнд тооцдог бол ухаантай ядуу хүн түүнийг шалгадаг.
28:12 When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
12 Шударга зөв хүмүүс ялахад, агуу алдар суу байна. Харин хар санаатнууд гарч ирэх цагт хүмүүс нуугдана.
28:13 He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
13 Гэм нүглээ нуун далдлагч хэзээ ч амжилтанд хүрэхгүй. Харин гэм нүглээ хүлээн зөвшөөрч, тэдгээрийг хаягч хүн хайр энэрлийг хүртэнэ.
28:14 Happy is the man that fears always: but he that hardens his heart shall fall into mischief.
14 ЭЗЭНээс ямагт эмээдэг хүнд ерөөл оршино. Харин зүрхээ хатууруулдаг хүн гай гамшигт орооцолдоно.
28:15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
15 Хорон санаатай захирагч ядууст хандахдаа архирах арслан ба дайрах баавгай мэт юм.
28:16 The prince that wants understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hates covetousness shall prolong his days.
16 Хавчин дарладаг захирагч ухаанаар дутмаг байдаг. Харин шударга бусаар олсныг үзэн яддаг хүний өдөр хоног уртсана.
28:17 A man that does violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
17 Хүний цусыг урсгасан хэрэгт буруутгагдсан хүн үхэн үхтэлээ оргодол босуул байна. Тийм хүнийг бүү дэмж.
28:18 Whoso walks uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
18 Гэм зэмгүй алхдаг хүн аврагдах болно. Харин замаасаа гажсан хүн нэгмөсөн унана.
28:19 He that tills his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that follows after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
19 Өөрийнхөө газрыг хагалагч хүн талх тариагаар арвин байх болно. Харин хоосон мөрөөдлүүдийг мөшгөгч хүн ядуурлаар арвин байх болно.
28:20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
20 Итгэлтэй хүн ерөөлөөр бялхах болно. Харин баяжих гэж яарч тэвддэг хүнд заавал шийтгэл ирнэ.
28:21 To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
21 Тал засах нь сайн зүйл биш. Учир нь хүн зүсэм талхны төлөө нүгэл үйлддэг.
28:22 He that hastes to be rich has an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.
22 Хорон муу нүдтэй хүн эд баялгийн араас яаравчилдаг боловч Ядуурал гадаа нь ирчихээд буйг үл анзаардаг.
28:23 He that rebukes a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flatters with the tongue.
23 Хэлээрээ зусарддаг хүнээс зэмлэгч хүн илүү их магтаалыг эцэст нь хүртдэг.
28:24 Whoso robs his father or his mother, and says, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
24 Эцэг эхээ цөлөмчихөөд, "Энэ бол нүгэл биш" хэмээн хэлэгч болбоос Сүйтгэгч хүний хамсаатан юм.
28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
25 Омог бардам хүн эвдрэлцлийг өдөөдөг. Харин ЭЗЭНд итгэгч хүн хөгжин дэвших болно.
28:26 He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walks wisely, he shall be delivered.
26 Өөрийн зүрхэндээ итгэдэг хүн мунхаг. Харин мэргэн хүн аюулаас зайлдаг.
28:27 He that gives unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.
27 Ядууст өгдөг хүн хэзээ ч, юугаар ч дутагдахгүй. Харин ядуу хүнээс нүдээ буруулагч хүн зүхэгдэнэ.
28:28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
28 Хар санаатай хүмүүс гарч ирэх цагт хүмүүс нуугдана. Харин тэднийг унах цагт шударга зөв хүмүүс олширно.
29:1 He, that being often reproved hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
1 Олон зэмлүүлэвч хүзүү нь хөшсөн хэвээр байгч хүн Нэг л өдөр эдгэшгүйгээр ойчих болно.
29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn.
2 Зөв шударга хүн дэвжих тусам ард түмэн баяр жаргалтай байдаг. Харин хар санаатай хүн удирдваас ард олон халаглана.
29:3 Whoso loves wisdom rejoices his father: but he that keeps company with harlots spends his substance.
3 Мэргэн ухаанд дуртай хүн эцгээ баярлуулдаг. Харин садар эмстэй нөхцөгч эд хөрөнгөө барж дуусна.
29:4 The king by judgment establishes the land: but he that receives gifts overthrows it.
4 Шударга ёсоор дамжуулан хаан улс орныг тогтворжуулдаг. Харин хээл хахууль авдаг хүн улс орноо нураадаг.
29:5 A man that flatters his neighbour spreads a net for his feet.
5 Хөршдөө бялдуучилдаг хүн өөрийгөө урхидаж буй хэрэг.
29:6 In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous does sing and rejoice.
6 Хорон муу хүн нүгэл хилэнцдээ урхидуулдаг. Харин зөв шударга хүн дуулж баясдаг.
29:7 The righteous considers the cause of the poor: but the wicked regards not to know it.
7 Зөв шударга хүн ядуусын эрхийн төлөө санаа тавьдаг бол Хар санаатай хүн үүнийг үл ойлгоно.
29:8 Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
8 Жигшигчид хотод үймээн самуун дэгдээдэг. Харин мэргэн хүмүүс уур хилэнг зайлуулна.
29:9 If a wise man contends with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
9 Мэргэн хүн мунхагтай маргаж байхад Мунхаг нь хилэгнэдэг, эсвэл элэглэдэг бөгөөд зогсохгүй.
29:10 The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
10 Цус урсгагч нар гэмгүй хүнийг үзэн яддаг бол Цэх шулуун хүмүүс түүний аминд санаа тавина.
29:11 A fool utters all his mind: but a wise man keeps it in till afterwards.
11 Мунхаг хүн уур уцаараа барьж үл чадна. Харин мэргэн хүн уурыг барьдаг.
29:12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
12 Удирдагч хүн худал хуурмагт анхаарлаа хандуулбаас Бүх шадар үйлчлэгчид нь хар санаатнууд болж хувирна.
29:13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lightens both their eyes.
13 Ядуу хүн ба дарлагч хоёрын нийтлэг зүйл гэвэл ЭЗЭН тэд хоёрын хоёулангийнх нь нүдэнд гэрэл тусгадаг.
29:14 The king that faithfully judges the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
14 Хэрэв хаан ядуусыг шударгаар шүүх аваас хаан ширээ нь мөнхөд тогтоно.
29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself brings his mother to shame.
15 Саваа, зэмлэл хоёулаа мэргэн ухааныг өгнө. Харин дур зоргоороо аашлагч хүүхэд эхийгээ ичгүүрт оруулна.
29:16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increases: but the righteous shall see their fall.
16 Хар санаатай хүмүүс олшрох тусам гэм нүгэл ихэснэ. Харин зөв шударга хүн тэдний сүйрлийг үзнэ.
29:17 Correct your son, and he shall give you rest; yea, he shall give delight unto your soul.
17 Хүүгээ сахилгажуул. Тэгвээс хүү чинь чамд тайвшралыг өгөх агаад Сэтгэлийг чинь баярлуулах болно.
29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.
18 Алсын хараа байхгүй бол ард түмэн дэг журамгүй байна. Харин хуулийг сахигч нь жаргалтай билээ.
29:19 A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
19 Зарцыг зөвхөн үгээрээ зааварлаж болохгүй. Учир нь тэрээр ойлгосон ч хариу үйлдэл хийхгүй.
29:20 See you a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
20 Хэлэх үгэндээ яаруу нэгнийг чи хардаг биз ээ? Мунхаг нэгэнд тийм хүнээс ч илүү засрах найдвар бий.
29:21 He that delicately brings up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
21 Хэрэв хүн зарцаа багаас нь эрхлүүлэх юм бол Эцэст нь тэр түүний хүү болчих вий.
29:22 An angry man stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgression.
22 Ууртай хүн эвдрэлцлийг өдөөнө. Түргэн зантай хүн гэм нүгэлд автана.
29:23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
23 Бардам зан нь хүнийг дорд болгоно. Харин даруу сүнс хүндэтгэл хүлээдэг.
29:24 Whoso is partner with a thief hates his own soul: he hears cursing, and betrayed it not.
24 Хулгайчтай хамсагч болбоос амиа үзэн ядаж байгаа хэрэг юм. Тэр хараал зүхлийг сонсдог ч мэдүүлэг эс өгнө.
29:25 The fear of man brings a snare: but whoso puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
25 Хүний айдас болбоос занга юм. Харин ЭЗЭНд итгэдэг хүн өргөмжлөгдөнө.
29:26 Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment comes from the LORD.
26 Олон хүн удирдагчийн ивээлд багтахыг зорьдог. Харин хүмүүнд хэрэгтэй зөв шударга ёс ЭЗЭНээс ирдэг.
29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
27 Шударга бус хүн зөв шударга хүнд жигшигдэнэ. Мөн шулуун шударгаар алхдаг хүн ч хар санаатанд жигшигддэг.
30:1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spoke unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,
1 Иакены хөвгүүн Агурын айлдсан үгс буюу эш үзүүллэг. Тэрээр эдгээрийг Итиел ба Укалд уламжилжээ.
30:2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
2 Хүмүүнээс хамгийн мунхаг нь гэвэл би л байж таарна. Хүний ухаан надад байхгүй.
30:3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
3 Би мэргэн ухаанд ч суралцсангүй. Ариун Нэгэний тухай мэдлэг ч надад алга.
30:4 Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who has established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if you can tell?
4 Хэн тэнгэр өөд одоод бууж ирэв ээ? Хэн салхийг гартаа атгаж байв аа? Хэн усыг дээлэндээ ороож чадав аа? Хэн дэлхийн хамаг хязгаарыг бүтээв ээ? Түүний нэр болон Хүүгийнх нь нэр хэн бэ? Та мэдэх үү?
30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
5 Бурханы үг бүр соригдсон. Тэрээр Өөрийнх нь дотор хоргодогсдод бамбай юм.
30:6 Add you not unto his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.
6 Түүний үгэн дээр бүү нэм. Тэгвээс Тэр чамайг буруутгаж, чи худалч болох вий.
30:7 Two things have I required of you; deny me them not before I die:
7 Хоёр зүйлийг би Танаас гуйж байна. Намайг амьд сэрүүн байх зуур надад бүү татгалзаарай.
30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
8 Заль мэх болон худлыг надаас хол байлгаач. Намайг хоосон ядуу ч бус, баян тарган ч бус байлгаач. Надад оногдох хувь болох хүнсийг өгч хайрлаач.
30:9 Lest I be full, and deny you, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
9 Учир нь би оногдох ёстойгоосоо илүүг хүртэж, "ЭЗЭН гэж хэн юм бэ?" гээд, Танаас няцаж буцахгүй байхын тулд, Эсвэл ядууран, хулгай хийж, Бурханыхаа нэрийг бузарлахгүй байхын тулд билээ.
30:10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse you, and you be found guilty.
10 Эзнийх нь нүүрэн дээр зарцыг нь бүү гүтгэ. Тэгвээс эзэн нь чамайг хараан зүхэж, чи буруутан болох вий.
30:11 There is a generation that curses their father, and does not bless their mother.
11 Эцгийгээ зүхэж, эхийгээ үл ерөөдөг хүмүүс байдаг.
30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
12 Өөрийнхөө нүдэнд цэвэр хэмээдэг атлаа Хир буртгаасаа цэвэрлэгдээгүй хүмүүс ч бас бий.
30:13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
13 Басамжилсан нүдтэй ба дээгүүр харцтай ч нэгэн бий.
30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
14 Газар дээрээс зовж шаналагсдыг, Хүмүүсийн дундаас ядуусыг залгихаар шүд нь илд шиг агаад Эрүүнүүдэд нь хутга шиг шүдтэй хүн ч бий.
30:15 The horseleach has two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
15 Шуналын тулам хоёр охинтой бөгөөд Тэд байнга л "Өг, Өг" гэцгээдэг. Ханаж цаддаггүй гурван зүйл "Одоо боллоо" гэж хэлдэггүй дөрөв дэх зүйл бий.
30:16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that says not, It is enough.
16 Эдгээр нь Үхэгсдийн орон, Үр хүүхэдгүй хэвлий, Ус ууж ханадаггүй газар хийгээд "Одоо болсон" хэмээн хэлдэггүй гал зэрэг юм.
30:17 The eye that mocks at his father, and despises to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
17 Эцгийгээ басамжилж, Эхдээ зэвүүцэгчийн нүдийг хон хэрээ тоншиж, тас шувуу иднэ.
30:18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
18 Миний хувьд ухааршгүй гайхамшигтай гурван зүйл байна. Дөрөв дэхийг нь бүр ч ойлгохгүй юм.
30:19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
19 Эдгээр нь Тэнгэрт халин нисэх бүргэдийн зам, Хадан дээгүүр мурилзах могойн зам, Тэнгисийн дунд хөвөх хөлөг онгоцны зам, Бүсгүй хүнтэй ханилсан эрийн хувь тавилан болой.
30:20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.
20 Садар самуун эмийн зам нь гэвээс тэр идэж, Амаа арчаад "Би ямар ч буруугүй" гэдэг.
30:21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
21 Гурван зүйлийн дор дэлхий чичирч, Дөрөв дэхийг нь даадаггүй.
30:22 For a servant when he reigns; and a fool when he is filled with food;
22 Эдгээр нь Хаан ширээнд заларсан зарц, Хоолоор хангалуун мунхаг,
30:23 For an abhorrent woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
23 Хайр сэтгэлгүйгээр нөхөрт гарсан ба Эзэгтэйнхээ оронд эзэгтэй болох шивэгчин зэрэг ажгуу.
30:24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
24 Дэлхий дээр өчүүхэн атлаа үнэнхүү мэргэн дөрвөн зүйл бий.
30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer;
25 Шоргоолж бол том амьтан биш ч гэсэн зуны турш хоол хүнсээ базаана.
30:26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
26 Дорго бол хүчтэй амьтан биш ч гэсэн хад чулуун дотор үүрээ засна.
30:27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
27 Царцаанд хаан байхгүй ч тэд бүгд дэг журамтай.
30:28 The spider takes hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.
28 Гүрвэлийг гараараа барьж чадах ч тэр нь хааны ордонд байх ажээ.
30:29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
29 Алхах гишгэхдээ сүрлэг гурав буюу бүр дөрөв бий.
30:30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turns not away for any;
30 Хэний ч өмнөөс ухардаггүй араатны дунд хүчирхэг арслан,
30:31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
31 Азарган тахиа, ухна ба дайчин баатруудтайгаа хамт буй хаан болой.
30:32 If you have done foolishly in lifting up yourself, or if you have thought evil, lay yours hand upon your mouth.
32 Өөрийгөө өргөмжилж мунхаг зан гаргасан, эсвэл хорон мууг сэдсэн бол гараа аман дээрээ тавь.
30:33 Surely the churning of milk brings forth butter, and the wringing of the nose brings forth blood: so the forcing of wrath brings forth strife.
33 Сүүнээс цөцгий, дараа нь цөцгийн тос ялгардаг. Хамар дундуур дэлсвээс цус гоожно. Түүнчлэн уурандаа автах явдал эвдрэлцлийг бий болгодог.
31:1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
1 Хаан Лемуелийн үгс буюу эх нь түүнд айлдсан сургаал.
31:2 What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
2 Хүү минь, хэвлийн үр минь, миний амлалтын хүү,
31:3 Give not your strength unto women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.
3 Эмэгтэй хүний төлөө хүчээ барж үл болно. Хаадыг сүйтгэгч нарт хүсэл зоригоо эзэмдүүлж үл болно.
31:4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
4 Лемуел минь, хаан хүн дарс уух нь зохисгүй зүйл мөн. Удирдагч хүн сархдыг хүсэн тэмүүлэх нь зохисгүй.
31:5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
5 Учир нь тэд ууж согтууран тогтоолыг умартаж, Зовж зүдэрсэн олны эрх ашгийг уландаа гишгэх вий.
31:6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
6 Ядарч туйлдсан хүмүүст сархдыг барь. Гашуун амьдралтай хүмүүст дарсыг барь.
31:7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
7 Тэр ууж, ядуу зүдүү байдлаа мартан, Зовлон зүдгүүрээ дахиж бүү санаг.
31:8 Open your mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
8 Хэлгүй хүмүүс болон золгүй бүх хүмүүсийн төлөө амаа нээ.
31:9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
9 Амаа нээж, зөв шударгаар шүүж, Ядуус ба гай зовлонд унагсдын эрхийг хамгаал.
31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
10 Хэн арван хуруу тэгш эхнэр олж чадах вэ? Тийм эхнэр эрдэнэсээс ч үнэтэй.
31:11 The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
11 Нөхөр нь түүнд бүрэн итгэх бөгөөд юугаар ч үл дутна.
31:12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
12 Тэр бүх л амьдралынхаа турш нөхөртөө мууг бус, зөвхөн сайныг л үйлддэг.
31:13 She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands.
13 Ноос ба маалинган даавууг тэр сонгон авч, гараа хумхилгүй ажилладаг.
31:14 She is like the merchants' ships; she brings her food from far.
14 Худалдаачны хөлөг онгоцнууд мэт тэр хоол хүнсээ хол газраас зөөдөг.
31:15 She rises also while it is yet night, and gives food to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
15 Тэр үүр цайхаас өмнө босож, гэр бүлдээ унд цайг бэлтгэж, Шивэгчин бүсгүйчүүлдээ хийх ёстойг нь хуваарилдаг.
31:16 She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
16 Тэр газрыг үзээд, худалдан авч, Орлогоороо усан үзмийн мод тариалдаг.
31:17 She girds her loins with strength, and strengthens her arms.
17 Тэр ажилдаа хичээнгүй, шаламгай бөгөөд Түүний гар улам хүчтэй болно.
31:18 She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle goes not out by night.
18 Ажил үйлс нь бүтэмжтэй байгаад тэр урамшина. Дэнлүү нь шөнөжингөө асдаг.
31:19 She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
19 Гартаа ээрүүл барьж, хуруугаараа шаламгай ажиллана.
31:20 She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reachs forth her hands to the needy.
20 Ядуу хүнд гараа сунгадаг. Гачигдаж дутагдсан хүмүүст тусалдаг.
31:21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
21 Цас хаялахад гэр бүлийнхээ төлөө санаа зовох зүйлгүй байдаг. Учир нь гэрийнхэн нь дулаан хувцсаар хангагдсан билээ.
31:22 She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
22 Тэр орондоо бүтээлэг урлаж, Ёрог даавуун ба нил ягаан өнгөтэй хувцас өмссөн байдаг.
31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.
23 Нөхөр нь хотын дааман хаалган дээр нутгийн ахлагч нарын дунд сууж байхдаа хүндлэгддэг.
31:24 She makes fine linen, and sells it; and delivers girdles unto the merchant.
24 Тэр ёрог даавуун дээл хийж, худалддаг бөгөөд Бөс даавууг худалдаачдад нийлүүлдэг.
31:25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
25 Тэр хүч чадал ба хүндэтгэлээр хувцасласан бөгөөд Инээмсэглэлээр ирээдүйгээ угтана.
31:26 She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
26 Тэр мэргэн үгээр ярьж, энэрлийг сургадаг.
31:27 She looks well to the ways of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness.
27 Тэр гэр орондоо санаа тавих бөгөөд залхуурахыг үл мэднэ.
31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
28 Үр хүүхдүүд нь өсөж өндийгөөд, түүнийг ерөөнө. Эр нөхөр нь ч гэсэн түүнийг магтан
31:29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excel them all.
29 "Олон эмэгтэйчүүд сайн үйл хийдэг ч чи тэднээс илүү билээ" хэмээнэ.
31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
30 Дур булаам байдал хуурамч бөгөөд гоо үзэсгэлэн ч хоосон. Харин ЭЗЭНээс эмээгч эмэгтэй л магтаал авах учиртай.
31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. #@#
