21:1 사단이 일어나 이스라엘을 대적하고 다윗을 격동하여 이스라엘을 계수하게
하니라
21:1 Now Satan, designing evil against Israel, put into David's mind the impulse to take
the number of Israel.
21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
21:2 다윗이 요압과 백성의 두목에게 이르되 너희는 가서 브엘세바에서부터 단까지
이스라엘을 계수하고 돌아와서 내게 고하여 그 수효를 알게 하라
21:2 And David said to Joab and the captains of the people, Now let all Israel, from
Beer-sheba to Dan, be numbered; and give me word so that I may be certain of their
number.
21:2 And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel
from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know
it.
21:3 요압이 가로되 여호와께서 그 백성을 지금보다 백 배나 더하시기를 원하나이다
내 주 왕이여 이 백성이 다 내 주의 종이 아니니이까 내 주께서 어찌하여 이 일을
명하시나이까 어찌하여 이스라엘로 죄가 있게 하시나이까 하나
21:3 And Joab said, May the Lord make his people a hundred times more in number than
they are; but, my lord king, are they not all my lord's servants? why would my lord
have this done? why will he become a cause of sin to Israel?
21:3 And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many
more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants?
why then does my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass
to Israel?
21:4 왕의 명령이 요압을 재촉한지라 드디어 떠나서 이스라엘 땅에 두루 다닌
후에 예루살렘으로 돌아와서
21:4 But the king's word was stronger than Joab's. So Joab went out and went through
all Israel and came to Jerusalem.
21:4 Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab
departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
21:5 백성의 수효를 다윗에게 고하니 이스라엘 중에 칼을 뺄 만한 자가 일백 십만이요
유다 중에 칼을 뺄 만한 자가 사십 칠만이라
21:5 And Joab gave David the number of all the people; all the men of Israel, able to
take up arms, were one million, one hundred thousand men; and those of Judah were
four hundred and seventy thousand men, able to take up arms.
21:5 And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all
they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew
sword: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew
sword.
21:6 요압이 왕의 명령을 밉게 여겨 레위와 베냐민 사람은 계수하지 아니하였더라
21:6 But Levi and Benjamin were not numbered among them, for Joab was disgusted with
the king's order.
21:6 But Levi and Benjamin counted he not among them: for the king's word
was abominable to Joab.
21:7 하나님이 이 일을 괘씸히 여기사 이스라엘을 치시매
21:7 And God was not pleased with this thing; so he sent punishment on Israel.
21:7 And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he stroke Israel.
21:8 다윗이 하나님께 아뢰되 내가 이 일을 행함으로 큰 죄를 범하였나이다 이제
간구하옵나니 종의 죄를 사하여 주옵소서 내가 심히 미련하게 행하였나이다 하니라
21:8 Then David said to God, Great has been my sin in doing this; but now, be pleased
to take away the sin of your servant, for I have done very foolishly.
21:8 And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done
this thing: but now, I plead to you, do away the iniquity of your servant; for
I have done very foolishly.
21:9 ○ 여호와께서 다윗의 선견자 갓에게 이르시되
21:9 Then the word of the Lord came to Gad, David's seer, saying,
21:9 And the LORD spoke unto Gad, David's seer, saying,
21:10 가서 다윗에게 말하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀이 내가 네게 세 가지를 보이노니
그 중에서 하나를 택하라 내가 그것을 네게 행하리라 하셨다 하라
21:10 Go and say to David, The Lord says, Three things are offered to you: say which of
them you will have, so that I may do it to you.
21:10 Go and tell David, saying, Thus says the LORD, I offer you three things:
choose you one of them, that I may do it unto you.
21:11 갓이 다윗에게 나아가 고하되 여호와의 말씀이 너는 마음대로 택하라
21:11 So Gad came to David and said to him, The Lord says, Take whichever you will:
21:11 So Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD, Choose
you
21:12 혹 삼 년 기근일지, 혹 네가 석 달을 대적에게 패하여 대적의 칼에 쫓길 일일지,
혹 여호와의 칼 곧 온역이 사흘 동안 이 땅에 유행하며 여호와의 사자가 이스라엘
온 지경을 멸할 일일지, 하셨나니 내가 무슨 말로 나를 보내신 이에게 대답할 것을
결정하소서
21:12 Three years when there will not be enough food; or three months of war, when you
will go in flight before your haters, being in great danger of the sword; or three
days of the sword of the Lord, disease in the land, and the angel of the Lord taking
destruction through all the land of Israel. Now give thought to the answer I am
to take back to him who sent me.
21:12 Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before
your foes, while that the sword of yours enemies overtakes you; or else three
days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel
of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise
yourself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
21:13 다윗이 갓에게 이르되 내가 곤경에 있도다 여호와께서는 긍휼이 심히 크시니
내가 그의 손에 빠지고 사람의 손에 빠지지 않기를 원하나이다
21:13 And David said to Gad, This is a hard decision for me to make: let me come into
the hands of the Lord, for great are his mercies: let me not come into the hands
of men.
21:13 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into
the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into
the hand of man.
21:14 이에 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성에게 온역을 내리시매 이스라엘 백성의 죽은
자가 칠만이었더라
21:14 So the Lord sent disease on Israel, causing the death of seventy thousand men.
21:14 So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy
thousand men.
21:15 하나님이 예루살렘을 멸하러 사자를 보내셨더니 사자가 멸하려 할 때에
여호와께서 보시고 이 재앙 내림을 뉘우치사 멸하는 사자에게 이르시되 족하다 이제는
네 손을 거두라 하시니 때에 여호와의 사자가 여부스 사람 오르난의 타작 마당 곁에
선지라
21:15 And God sent an angel to Jerusalem for its destruction: and when he was about to
do so, the Lord saw, and had regret for the evil, and said to the angel of destruction,
It is enough; do no more. Now the angel of the Lord was by the grain-floor of Ornan
the Jebusite.
21:15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying,
the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that
destroyed, It is enough, stay now yours hand. And the angel of the LORD stood
by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
21:16 다윗이 눈을 들어보매 여호와의 사자가 천지 사이에 섰고 칼을 빼어 손에
들고 예루살렘 편을 가리켰는지라 다윗이 장로들로 더불어 굵은 베를 입고 얼굴을
땅에 대고 엎드려
21:16 And David, lifting up his eyes, saw the angel of the Lord there between earth and
heaven, with an uncovered sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David
and the responsible men, clothed in haircloth, went down on their faces.
21:16 And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between
the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over
Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth,
fell upon their faces.
21:17 하나님께 아뢰되 명하여 백성을 계수하게 한 자가 내가 아니니이까 범죄하고
악을 행한 자는 곧 내니이다 이 양 무리는 무엇을 행하였나이까 청컨대 나의 하나님
여호와여 주의 손으로 나와 내 아비의 집을 치시고 주의 백성에게 재앙을 내리지
마옵소서
21:17 And David said to God, Was it not I who gave the order for the people to be numbered?
It is I who have done the sin and the great wrong; but these are only sheep; what
have they done? let your hand, O Lord God, be lifted up against me and against my
family, but not against your people to send disease on them.
21:17 And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be
numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these
sheep, what have they done? let yours hand, I pray you, O LORD my God, be on
me, and on my father's house; but not on your people, that they should be plagued.
21:18 ○ 여호와의 사자가 갓을 명하여 다윗에게 이르시기를 올라가서 여부스
사람 오르난의 타작 마당에서 여호와를 위하여 단을 쌓으라 하신지라
21:18 Then the angel of the Lord gave orders to Gad to say to David that he was to go
and put up an altar to the Lord on the grain-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
21:18 Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David, that David
should go up, and set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshing floor of Ornan
the Jebusite.
21:19 다윗이 이에 갓이 여호와의 이름으로 이른 말씀대로 올라가니라
21:19 And David went up, as Gad had said in the name of the Lord.
21:19 And David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spoke in the name
of the LORD.
21:20 때에 오르난이 밀을 타작하다가 돌이켜 천사를 보고 네 아들과 함께 숨었더니
21:20 And Ornan, turning back, saw the angel, and his four sons who were with him went
to a secret place. Now Ornan was crushing his grain.
21:20 And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons with him
hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.
21:21 다윗이 오르난에게 나아가매 오르난이 내어다보다가 다윗을 보고 타작 마당에서
나와서 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절하매
21:21 And when David came, Ornan, looking, saw him, and came out from the grain-floor
and went down on his face to the earth before him.
21:21 And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out
of the threshing floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.
21:22 다윗이 오르난에게 이르되 이 타작하는 곳을 내게 붙이라 너는 상당한 값으로
붙이라 내가 여호와를 위하여 여기 한 단을 쌓으리니 그리하면 온역이 백성 중에서
그치리라
21:22 Then David said to Ornan, Give me the place where this grain-floor is, so that I
may put up an altar here to the Lord: let me have it for its full price; so that
this disease may be stopped among the people.
21:22 Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshing floor,
that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: you shall grant it me for the
full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.
21:23 오르난이 다윗에게 고하되 왕은 취하소서 내 주 왕의 좋게 여기시는 대로
행하소서 보소서 내가 이것들을 드리나이다 소들은 번제물로, 곡식 떠는 기계는 화목으로,
밀은 소제물로 삼으시기 위하여 다 드리나이다
21:23 And Ornan said to David, Take it, and let my lord the king do what seems right to
him. See, I give you the oxen for burned offerings and the grain-cleaning instruments
for fire-wood, and the grain for the meal offering; I give it all.
21:23 And Ornan said unto David, Take it to you, and let my lord the king
do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give you the oxen also for burnt offerings,
and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the food offering;
I give it all.
21:24 다윗 왕이 오르난에게 이르되 그렇지 아니하다 내가 결단코 상당한 값으로
사리라 내가 여호와께 드리려고 네 물건을 취하지 아니하겠고 값 없이는 번제를 드리지도
아니하리라 하고
21:24 And King David said to Ornan, No; I will certainly give you the full price for it,
because I will not take for the Lord what is yours, or give a burned offering without
payment.
21:24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the
full price: for I will not take that which is yours for the LORD, nor offer
burnt offerings without cost.
21:25 그 기지 값으로 금 육백 세겔을 달아 오르난에게 주고
21:25 So David gave Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place.
21:25 So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by
weight.
21:26 다윗이 거기서 여호와를 위하여 단을 쌓고 번제와 화목제를 드려 여호와께
아뢰었더니 여호와께서 하늘에서부터 번제단 위에 불을 내려 응답하시고
21:26 And David put up an altar there to the Lord, offering burned offerings and peace-offerings
with prayers to the Lord; and he gave him an answer from heaven, sending fire on
the altar of burned offering.
21:26 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings
and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven
by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.
21:27 사자를 명하시매 저가 칼을 집에 꽂았더라
21:27 Then the Lord gave orders to the angel, and he put back his sword into its cover.
21:27 And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into
the sheath thereof.
21:28 ○ 이 때에 다윗이 여호와께서 여부스 사람 오르난의 타작 마당에서 응답하심을
보고 거기서 제사를 드렸으니
21:28 At that time, when David saw that the Lord had given him an answer on the grain-floor
of Ornan the Jebusite, he made an offering there.
21:28 At that time when David saw that the LORD had answered him in the threshing
floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.
21:29 옛적에 모세가 광야에서 지은 여호와의 장막과 번제단이 그 때에 기브온
산당에 있으나
21:29 For the House of the Lord, which Moses had made in the waste land, and the altar
of burned offerings, were at that time in the high place at Gibeon.
21:29 For the tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses made in the wilderness,
and the altar of the burnt offering, were at that season in the high place at
Gibeon.
21:30 다윗이 여호와의 사자의 칼을 두려워하여 감히 그 앞에 가서 하나님께 묻지
못함이라
21:30 But David was not able to go before it to get directions from the Lord, so great
was his fear of the sword of the angel of the Lord.
21:30 But David could not go before it to enquire of God: for he was afraid
because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
22:1 다윗이 가로되 이는 여호와 하나님의 전이요 이는 이스라엘의 번제단이라
하였더라
22:1 Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for Israel's
burned offerings.
22:1 Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the
altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
22:2 ○ 다윗이 명하여 이스라엘 땅에 우거하는 이방 사람을 모으고 석수를 시켜
하나님의 전을 건축할 돌을 다듬게 하고
22:2 And David gave orders to get together all the men from strange lands who were in
the land of Israel; and he put stone-cutters to work, cutting stones for building
the house of God.
22:2 And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the
land of Israel; and he set stone workers to hew wrought stones to build the
house of God.
22:3 다윗이 또 문짝 못과 거멀 못에 쓸 철을 한 없이 준비하고 또 심히 많아서
중수를 셀 수 없는 놋을 준비하고
22:3 And he got together a great store of iron, for the nails for the doors and for the
joins; and brass, more in weight than might be measured;
22:3 And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of
the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;
22:4 또 백향목을 무수히 준비하였으니 이는 시돈 사람과 두로 사람이 백향목을
다윗에게로 많이 수운하여 왔음이라
22:4 And cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the men of Tyre came with
a great amount of cedar-trees for David.
22:4 Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought
much cedar wood to David.
22:5 다윗이 가로되 내 아들 솔로몬이 어리고 연약하고 여호와를 위하여 건축할
전은 극히 장려하여 만국에 명성과 영광이 있게 하여야 할지라 그러므로 내가 이제
위하여 준비하리라 하고 죽기 전에 많이 준비하였더라
22:5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and untested, and the house which is to
be put up for the Lord is to be very great, a thing of wonder and glory through
all countries; so I will make ready what is needed for it. So David got ready a
great store of material before his death.
22:5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that
is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of
glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it.
So David prepared abundantly before his death.
22:6 ○ 다윗이 그 아들 솔로몬을 불러 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 위하여 전을
건축하기를 부탁하여
22:6 Then he sent for his son Solomon, and gave him orders for the building of a house
for the Lord, the God of Israel.
22:6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house
for the LORD God of Israel.
22:7 이르되 내 아들아 나는 내 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할 마음이
있었으나
22:7 And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name
of the Lord my God.
22:7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build
an house unto the name of the LORD my God:
22:8 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되 너는 피를 심히 많이 흘렸고 크게
전쟁하였느니라 네가 내 앞에서 땅에 피를 많이 흘렸은즉 내 이름을 위하여 전을
건축하지 못하리라
22:8 But the word of the Lord came to me saying, You have taken lives without number
and made great wars; I will not let you be the builder of a house for my name, because
of the lives you have taken on the earth before my eyes.
22:8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, You have shed blood abundantly,
and have made great wars: you shall not build an house unto my name, because
you have shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
22:9 한 아들이 네게서 나리니 저는 평강의 사람이라 내가 저로 사면 모든 대적에게서
평강하게 하리라 그 이름을 솔로몬이라 하리니 이는 내가 저의 생전에 평안과 안정을
이스라엘에게 줄 것임이니라
22:9 But you will have a son who will be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from
wars on every side. His name will be Solomon, and in his time I will give Israel
peace and quiet;
22:9 Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and
I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be
Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.
22:10 저가 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할지라 저는 내 아들이 되고 나는 저의
아비가 되어 그 나라 위를 이스라엘 위에 굳게 세워 영원까지 이르게 하리라 하셨나니
22:10 He will be the builder of a house for my name; he will be to me a son, and I will
be to him a father; and I will make the seat of his rule over Israel certain for
ever.
22:10 He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I
will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel
for ever.
22:11 내 아들아 여호와께서 너와 함께 하시기를 원하며 네가 형통하여 여호와께서
네게 대하여 말씀하신 대로 여호와의 전을 건축하며
22:11 Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you do well, and put up the house
of the Lord your God, as he has said of you.
22:11 Now, my son, the LORD be with you; and prosper you, and build the house
of the LORD your God, as he has said of you.
22:12 여호와께서 네게 지혜와 총명을 주사 너로 이스라엘을 다스리게 하시고
너의 하나님 여호와의 율법을 지키게 하시기를 더욱 원하노라
22:12 Only may the Lord give you wisdom, and knowledge of his orders for Israel, so that
you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
22:12 Only the LORD give you wisdom and understanding, and give you charge
concerning Israel, that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.
22:13 네가 만일 여호와께서 모세로 이스라엘에게 명하신 모든 율례와 규례를
삼가 행하면 형통하리니 강하고 담대하여 두려워 말고 놀라지 말지어다
22:13 And all will go well for you, if you take care to keep the laws and the rules which
the Lord gave to Moses for Israel: be strong and take heart; have no fear and do
not be troubled.
22:13 Then shall you prosper, if you take heed to fulfill the statutes and
judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and
of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
22:14 내가 환난 중에 여호와의 전을 위하여 금 십만 달란트와 은 일백만 달란트와
놋과 철을 그 중수를 셀 수 없을 만큼 심히 많이 예비하였고 또 재목과 돌을 예비하였으나
너는 더할 것이며
22:14 Now see, poor though I am, I have got ready for the house of the Lord a hundred
thousand talents of gold and a million talents of silver; and a weight of brass
and iron greater than may be measured; and wood and stone have I made ready, and
you may put more to it.
22:14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD
an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver;
and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and
stone have I prepared; and you may add thereto.
22:15 또 공장이 네게 많이 있나니 곧 석수와 목수와 온갖 일에 익숙한 모든 사람이니라
22:15 And you have a great number of workmen, cutters and workers of stone and wood, and
experts in every sort of work,
22:15 Moreover there are workmen with you in abundance, hewers and workers
of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.
22:16 금과 은과 놋과 철이 무수하니 너는 일어나 일하라 여호와께서 너와 함께
계실지로다
22:16 In gold and silver and brass and iron more than may be numbered. Up! then, and to
work; and may the Lord be with you.
22:16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number.
Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with you.
22:17 ○ 다윗이 또 이스라엘 모든 방백에게 명하여 그 아들 솔로몬을 도우라
하여 가로되
22:17 Then David gave orders to all the chiefs of Israel to give their help to Solomon
his son, saying,
22:17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his
son, saying,
22:18 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희와 함께 하지 아니하시느냐 사면으로 너희에게
평강을 주지 아니하셨느냐 이 땅 거민을 내 손에 붙이사 이 땅으로 여호와와 그 백성
앞에 복종하게 하셨나니
22:18 Is not the Lord your God with you? and has he not given you rest on every side?
for the Lord has given the people of the land into my hands, and the land is overcome
before the Lord and before his people.
22:18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and has he not given you rest on
every side? for he has given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and
the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
22:19 이제 너희는 마음과 정신을 진정하여 너희 하나님 여호와를 구하고 일어나서
여호와 하나님의 성소를 건축하고 여호와의 언약궤와 하나님의 거룩한 기구를 가져다가
여호와의 이름을 위하여 건축한 전에 드리게 하라 하였더라
22:19 Now give your heart and soul to the worship of the Lord your God; and get to work
on the building of the holy place of the Lord God, so that you may put the ark of
the Lord's agreement and the holy vessels of God in the house which is to be made
for the name of the Lord.
22:19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore,
and build all of you the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the
covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to
be built to the name of the LORD.
23:1 다윗이 나이 많아 늙으매 아들 솔로몬으로 이스라엘 왕을 삼고
23:1 Now David was old and full of days; and he made his son Solomon king over Israel.
23:1 So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king
over Israel.
23:2 이스라엘 모든 방백과 제사장과 레위 사람을 모았더라
23:2 And he got together all the chiefs of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
23:2 And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests
and the Levites.
23:3 레위 사람은 삼십 세 이상으로 계수하였으니 모든 남자의 명수가 삼만 팔천인데
23:3 And the Levites, all those of thirty years old and over, were numbered; and the
number of them, by heads, man by man, was thirty-eight thousand.
23:3 Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward:
and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
23:4 그 중에 이만 사천은 여호와의 전 사무를 보살피는 자요 육천은 유사와 재판관이요
23:4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were to be overseers of the work of the house of
the Lord, and six thousand were judges and men of authority;
23:4 Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the
house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges:
23:5 사천은 문지기요 사천은 다윗의 찬송하기 위하여 지은 악기로 여호와를 찬송하는
자라
23:5 Four thousand were door-keepers; and four thousand gave praise to the Lord with
the instruments which I made, said David, for giving praise.
23:5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD
with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.

23:6 And David put them into divisions under the names of the sons of Levi: Gershon,

23:7 ○ 게르손 자손은 라단과 시므이라
23:7 Of the Gershonites: Ladan and Shimei.

23:8 라단의 아들들은 족장 여히엘과 또 세담과 요엘 세 사람이요
23:8 The sons of Ladan: Jehiel the chief, and Zetham and Joel, three.

23:9 시므이의 아들들은 슬로밋과 하시엘과 하란 세 사람이니 이는 라단의 족장들이며
23:9 The sons of Shimei: Shelomoth and Haziel and Haran, three; these were the heads
of the families of Ladan.
23:9 The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These were
the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
23:10 또 시므이의 아들들은 야핫과 시나와 여우스와 브리아니 이 네 사람도 시므이의

23:10 And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Zizah and Jeush and Beriah; these four were the
sons of Shimei.

23:11 그 족장은 야핫이요 그 다음은 시사며 여우스와 브리아는 아들이 많지 아니하므로
저희와 한 족속으로 계수되었더라
23:11 Jahath was the chief and Zizah the second; but Jeush and Beriah had only a small
number of sons, so they were grouped together as one family.
23:11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah
had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their
father's house.
23:12 ○ 그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘 네 사람이라
23:12 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
23:12 The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
23:13 아므람의 아들들은 아론과 모세니 아론은 그 자손들과 함께 구별되어 몸을
성결케 하여 영원토록 지극히 거룩한 자가 되어 여호와 앞에 분향하며 섬기며 영원토록
그 이름을 받들어 축복하게 되었으며
23:13 The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron was made separate and holy, he and
his sons for ever, for the care of the most holy things and the burning of offerings
before the Lord, to do his work and give blessings in his name for ever.
23:13 The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he
should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense
before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
23:14 하나님의 사람 모세의 아들들은 레위 지파 중에 기록되었으니
23:14 And the sons of Moses, the man of God, were put into the list of the tribe of Levi.
23:14 Now concerning Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe
of Levi.
23:15 모세의 아들은 게르솜과 엘리에셀이라
23:15 The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer.
23:15 The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer.
23:16 게르솜의 아들 중에 스브엘이 족장이 되었고

23:17 엘리에셀의 아들은 족장 르하뱌라 엘리에셀이 이 외에는 다른 아들이 없고

23:17 And the sons of Eliezer: Rehabiah the first; and Eliezer had no other sons, but
Rehabiah had a great number.
23:17 And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had no
other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
23:18 이스할의 아들은 족장 슬로밋이요

23:22 엘르아살이 아들이 없이 죽고 딸만 있더니 그 형제 기스의 아들이 저에게
장가 들었으며
23:22 And at his death Eleazar had no sons, but only daughters, and their relations, the
sons of Kish, took them as wives.
23:22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren
the sons of Kish took them.
23:23 무시의 아들들은 마흘리와 에델과 여레못 세 사람이더라
23:23 The sons of Mushi: Mahli and Eder and Jeremoth, three.

23:24 ○ 이는 다 레위 자손이니 그 종가를 따라 계수함을 입어 이름이 기록되고
여호와의 전에서 섬기는 일을 하는 이십 세 이상 된 족장들이라
23:24 These were the sons of Levi, grouped by families, the heads of the families of those
who were numbered by name, by heads, all those of twenty years old and over who
did the work of the house of the Lord.
23:24 These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even
the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls,
that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of
twenty years and upward.
23:25 다윗이 이르기를 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 평강을 그 백성에게 주시고
예루살렘에 영원히 거하시나니
23:25 For David said, The Lord, the God of Israel, has given his people rest, and he has
made his resting-place in Jerusalem for ever;
23:25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel has given rest unto his people,
that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
23:26 레위 사람이 다시는 성막과 그 가운데서 쓰는 모든 기구를 멜 것이 없다
한지라
23:26 And from now, there will be no need for the House of the Lord, and the vessels used
in it, to be moved about by the Levites.
23:26 And also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle,
nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
23:27 다윗의 유언대로 레위 자손이 이십 세 이상으로 계수되었으니
23:27 So among the last acts of David was the numbering of the sons of Levi, from twenty
years old and over.
23:27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty
years old and above:
23:28 그 직분은 아론의 자손에게 수종들어 여호와의 전과 뜰과 골방에서 섬기고
또 모든 성물을 정결케 하는 일 곧 하나님의 전에서 섬기는 일과
23:28 Their place was by the side of the sons of Aaron in all the work of the house of
the Lord, in the open spaces and in the rooms, in the making clean of all the holy
things, in doing all the work of the house of the Lord,
23:28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service
of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying
of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
23:29 또 진설병과 고운 가루의 소제물 곧 무교전병이나 남비에 지지는 것이나
반죽하는 것이나 또 모든 저울과 자를 맡고
23:29 The holy bread was in their care, and the crushed grain for the meal offering, of
unleavened cakes or meal cooked over the fire or in water; they had control of all
sorts of weights and measures;
23:29 Both for the showbread, and for the fine flour for food offering, and
for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that
which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
23:30 새벽과 저녁마다 서서 여호와께 축사하며 찬송하며
23:30 They had to take their places every morning to give praise and make melody to the
Lord, and in the same way at evening;
23:30 And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise
at even:
23:31 또 안식일과 초하루와 절기에 모든 번제를 여호와께 드리되 그 명하신 규례의
정한 수효대로 항상 여호와 앞에 드리며
23:31 At every offering of burned offerings to the Lord, on Sabbaths, and at the new moons,
and on the regular feasts, in the number ordered by the law, at all times before
the Lord;
23:31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in
the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded
unto them, continually before the LORD:
23:32 또 회막의 직무와 성소의 직무와 그 형제 아론 자손의 직무를 지켜 여호와의
전에서 수종드는 것이더라
23:32 And they had the care of the Tent of meeting and the holy place, under the direction
of the sons of Aaron their brothers, for the work of the house of the Lord.
23:32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation,
and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their
brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
24:1 아론 자손의 반차가 이러하니라 아론의 아들들은 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과
이다말이라
24:1 Now the divisions into which the sons of Aaron were grouped were these: the sons
of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24:1 Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron;
Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
24:2 나답과 아비후가 그 아비보다 먼저 죽고 아들이 없으므로 엘르아살과 이다말이
제사장의 직분을 행하였더라
24:2 But Nadab and Abihu came to their end before their father, and had no children;
so Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests.
24:2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore
Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
24:3 다윗이 엘르아살의 자손 사독과 이다말의 자손 아히멜렉으로 더불어 저희를
나누어 각각 그 섬기는 직무를 맡겼는데
24:3 And David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar,
made distribution of them into their positions for their work.
24:3 And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech
of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
24:4 엘르아살의 자손 중에 족장이 이다말의 자손보다 많으므로 나눈 것이 이러하니
엘르아살 자손의 족장이 십 륙이요 이다말 자손은 그 열조의 집을 따라 여덟이라
24:4 And there were more chiefs among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar;
and this is how they were grouped: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, all
heads of families; and of the sons of Ithamar, heads of families, there were eight.
24:4 And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the
sons of Ithamar, and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there
were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons
of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
24:5 이에 제비 뽑아 피차에 차등이 없이 나누었으니 이는 성소의 일을 다스리는
자와 하나님의 일을 다스리는 자가 엘르아살의 자손 중에도 있고 이다말의 자손 중에도
있음이라
24:5 So they were put into groups, by the Lord's decision, one with another; for there
were rulers of the holy place and rulers of the house of God among the sons of Eleazar
and the sons of Ithamar.
24:5 Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors
of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar,
and of the sons of Ithamar.
24:6 레위 사람 느다넬의 아들 서기관 스마야가 왕과 방백과 제사장 사독과 아비아달의
아들 아히멜렉과 및 제사장과 레위 사람의 족장 앞에서 그 이름을 기록하여 엘르아살의
자손 중에서 한 집을 취하고 이다말의 자손 중에서 한 집을 취하였으니
24:6 And Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was a Levite, put down their names
in writing, the king being present with the rulers, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech,
the son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites; one
family being taken for Eleazar and then one for Ithamar, and so on.
24:6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote
them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the
son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites:
one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.

24:19 이와 같은 반차로 여호와의 전에 들어가서 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서
저희 조상 아론에게 명하신 규례대로 수종들었더라
24:19 So they were put into their different groups, to take their places in the house
of the Lord, in agreement with the rules made by Aaron their father, as the Lord,
the God of Israel, had given him orders.
24:19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the
house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the
LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
24:20 ○ 레위 자손 중에 남은 자는 이러하니 아므람의 아들 중에는 수바엘이요
수바엘의 아들 중에는 예드야며
24:20 And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons
of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
24:20 And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram;
Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
24:21 르하뱌에게 이르러는 그 아들 중에 족장 잇시야요
24:21 Of Rehabiah; of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
24:21 Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.

24:30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites
by their families.

sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
24:31 이 여러 사람도 다윗 왕과 사독과 아히멜렉과 및 제사장과 레위 족장 앞에서
그 형제 아론 자손처럼 제비 뽑혔으니 장자의 종가와 그 아우의 종가가 다름이 없더라
24:31 Selection was made of these in the same way as of their brothers the sons of Aaron,
David the king being present, with Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of families
of the priests and of the Levites; the families of the chief in the same way as
those of his younger brother.
24:31 These likewise cast lots opposite to their brethren the sons of Aaron
in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of
the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers opposite
to their younger brethren.
25:1 다윗이 군대 장관들로 더불어 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔의 자손 중에서 구별하여
섬기게 하되 수금과 비파와 제금을 잡아 신령한 노래를 하게 하였으니 그 직무대로
일하는 자의 수효가 이러하니라
25:1 Further, David and the chiefs of the servants of the holy place made selection of
certain of the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun for the work of prophets,
to make melody with corded instruments and brass; and the number of the men for
the work they had to do was:
25:1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service
of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with
harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according
to their service was:
25:2 아삽의 아들 중 삭굴과 요셉과 느다냐와 아사렐라니 이 아삽의 아들들이
아삽의 수하에 속하여 왕의 명령을 좇아 신령한 노래를 하며

25:3 여두둔에게 이르러는 그 아들 그달리야와 스리와 여사야와 하사뱌와 맛디디야
여섯 사람이니 그 아비 여두둔의 수하에 속하여 수금을 잡아 신령한 노래를 하며
여호와께 감사하며 찬양하며
25:3 Of Jeduthun: the six sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah and Zeri and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah
and Mattithiah; under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, acting as a prophet,
with corded instruments gave praise and glory to the Lord.
25:3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah,
Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who
prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

25:4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel and Jerimoth, Hananiah,
Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;
25:4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and

25:5 이는 다 헤만의 아들들이니 나팔을 부는 자며 헤만은 하나님의 말씀을 받드는

25:5 All these were sons of Heman, the king's seer in the words of God. And to make great
his power God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

25:6 이들이 다 그 아비의 수하에 속하여 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡아 여호와 하나님의
전에서 노래하여 섬겼으며 아삽과 여두둔과 헤만은 왕의 수하에 속하였으니
25:6 All these, under the direction of their father, made music in the house of the Lord,
with brass and corded instruments, for the worship of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun,
and Heman being under the orders of the king.
25:6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house
of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house
of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
25:7 저희와 모든 형제 곧 여호와 찬송하기를 배워 익숙한 자의 수효가 이백 팔십
팔 인이라
25:7 And the number of them, with their brothers who were trained and expert in making
melody to the Lord, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
25:7 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the
songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and
eight.
25:8 이 무리의 큰 자나 작은 자나 스승이나 제자를 무론하고 일례로 제비 뽑아
직임을 얻었으니
25:8 And selection was made of them for their special work, all having equal chances,
small as well as great, the teacher as the learner.
25:8 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great,
the teacher as the scholar.
25:9 첫째로 제비 뽑힌 자는 아삽의 아들 중 요셉이요 둘째는 그달리야니 저와
그 형제와 아들 십 이 인이요

positions like their brothers to be servants in the house of the Lord.

26:13 각 문을 지키기 위하여 그 종족을 따라 무론대소하고 다 제비 뽑혔으니

family had the same chance as the great.
26:13 And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the
house of their fathers, for every gate.
26:14 셀레먀는 동방에 당첨되었고 그 아들 스가랴는 명철한 의사라 저를 위하여
제비 뽑으니 북방에 당첨되었고
26:14 And the care of the door on the east came out for Shelemiah. Then the name of Zechariah
his son, a man wise in discussion, came out, and the door on the north was given
to him.
26:14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son,
a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

26:27 저희가 싸울 때에 노략하여 얻은 물건 중에서 구별하여 드려 여호와의 전을

26:27 From the goods taken in war, they gave, as a holy offering, materials for the building
of the house of the Lord.
26:27 Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the
house of the LORD.

요압이 무론 무엇이든지 구별하여 드린 성물은 다 슬로못과 그 형제의 수하에 있었더라
26:28 And everything Samuel the prophet and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son
of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, had made holy; whatever anyone had given,
it was under the care of Shelomoth and his brothers.
26:28 And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the
son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated
any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

26:29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons had to do all the public business of Israel,
in relation to judges and men in authority.

26:31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of all the Hebronites, in their generations
by families. In the fortieth year of the rule of David a search was made, and able
men were seen among them at Jazer of Gilead.
26:31 Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites,
according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign
of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of
valour at Jazer of Gilead.

King David made overseers over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe
of Manasseh, in everything to do with God, and for the king's business.

by month through all the months of the year, in every division were twenty-four
thousand.

27:23 이스라엘 사람의 이십 세 이하의 수효는 다윗이 조사하지 아니하였으니 이는

27:23 But David did not take the number of those who were under twenty years old, for
the Lord had said that he would make Israel like the stars of heaven in number.
27:23 But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under:
because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the
heavens.
27:24 스루야의 아들 요압이 조사하기를 시작하고 끝내지 못하여서 그 일로 인하여
진노가 이스라엘에게 임한지라 그 수효를 다윗 왕의 역대 지략에 기록하지 아니하였더라
27:24 The numbering was started by Joab, the son of Zeruiah, but he did not go on to the
end; and because of it, wrath came on Israel and the number was not recorded in
the history of King David.
27:24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because
there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account
of the chronicles of king David.
27:25 ○ 아디엘의 아들 아스마웻은 왕의 곳간을 맡았고 웃시야의 아들 요나단은
밭과 성읍과 촌과 산성의 곳간을 맡았고
27:25 And Azmaveth, the son of Adiel, was controller of the king's property; Jonathan,
the son of Uzziah, had control of all store-houses in country places and in the
towns and little towns and strong places;
27:25 And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over
the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the
castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
27:26 글룹의 아들 에스리는 밭 가는 농부를 거느렸고
27:26 Ezri, the son of Chelub, had authority over the field-workers and farmers;
27:26 And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground
was Ezri the son of Chelub:

27:27 Shimei the Ramathite was responsible for the vine-gardens; Zabdi the Shiphmite was
responsible for the produce of the vine-gardens and for all the stores of wine;
27:27 And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase
of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:

27:29 And Shitrai the Sharonite was responsible for the herds in the grass-lands of Sharon,
and Shaphat, the son of Adlai, for those in the valleys;
27:29 And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and
over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
27:30 이스마엘 사람 오빌은 약대를 맡았고 메로놋 사람 예드야는 나귀를 맡았고

27:30 Obil the Ishmaelite had control of the camels and Jehdeiah the Meronothite of the
she-asses;
27:30 Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was
Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
27:31 다윗 왕의 재산을 맡은 자들이 이러하였더라
27:31 The flocks were in the care of Jaziz the Hagarite. All these were the controllers
of King David's property.
27:31 And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers
of the substance which was king David's.
27:32 ○ 다윗의 아자비 요나단은 지혜가 있어서 모사가 되며 서기관도 되었고
학모니의 아들 여히엘은 왕의 아들들의 배종이 되었고
27:32 Now Jonathan, David's father's brother, expert in discussion, and a man of good
sense, was a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni, had the care of the king's
sons;
27:32 Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe:
and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:
27:33 아히도벨은 왕의 모사가 되었고 아렉 사람 후새는 왕의 벗이 되었고
27:33 And Ahithophel was the king's expert in discussion and Hushai the Archite was the
king's friend.
27:33 And Ahithophel was the king's counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was
the king's companion:

27:34 After Ahithophel was Jehoiada, the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the captain
of the king's army was Joab.

and the general of the king's army was Joab.
28:1 다윗이 이스라엘 모든 방백 곧 각 지파의 어른과 체번하여 왕을 섬기는 반장들과
천부장들과 백부장들과 및 왕과 왕자의 산업과 생축의 감독과 환관과 장사와 용사를
예루살렘으로 소집하고
28:1 And David got together at Jerusalem all the rulers of Israel, the chiefs of the
tribes and the captains of the divisions waiting on the king in turn, and the captains
of thousands and the captains of hundreds and the controllers of all the goods and
property of the king and his sons, with the unsexed servants and the great men of
war.
28:1 And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes,
and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and
the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards
over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the
officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.
28:2 이에 다윗 왕이 일어서서 가로되 나의 형제들, 나의 백성들아 내 말을 들으라
나는 여호와의 언약궤 곧 우리 하나님의 발등상을 봉안할 전 건축할 마음이 있어서
건축할 재료를 준비하였으나
28:2 Then David the king got up and said, Give ear to me, my brothers and my people;
it was my desire to put up a house, a resting-place for the ark of the Lord's agreement,
and for the foot-rest of our God; and I had got material ready for the building
of it.
28:2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren,
and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for
the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had
made ready for the building:
28:3 오직 하나님이 내게 이르시되 너는 군인이라 피를 흘렸으니 내 이름을 위하여
전을 건축하지 못하리라 하셨느니라
28:3 But God said to me, You are not to be the builder of a house for my name, because
you are a man of war and have taken life;
28:3 But God said unto me, You shall not build an house for my name, because
you have been a man of war, and have shed blood.
28:4 그러나 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 전에 나를 내 부친의 온 집에서 택하여
영원히 이스라엘 왕이 되게 하셨나니 곧 하나님이 유다 지파를 택하사 머리를 삼으시고
유다의 족속에서 내 부친의 집을 택하시고 내 부친의 아들들 중에서 나를 기뻐하사
온 이스라엘의 왕을 삼으셨느니라
28:4 Though the Lord, the God of Israel, took me out of all my father's family, to be
king over Israel for ever, marking out Judah to be chief, and, of the people of
Judah, my father's family; and among the sons of my father he was pleased to make
me king over all Israel;
28:4 Nevertheless the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of
my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he has chosen Judah to be the
ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons
of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:
28:5 여호와께서 내게 여러 아들을 주시고 그 모든 아들 중에서 내 아들 솔로몬을
택하사 여호와의 나라 위에 앉혀 이스라엘을 다스리게 하려 하실새
28:5 And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me a great number of sons) he has made
selection of Solomon to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of the Lord over
Israel.
28:5 And of all my sons, (for the LORD has given me many sons,) he has chosen
Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
28:6 내게 이르시기를 네 아들 솔로몬 그가 내 전을 건축하고 내 여러 뜰을 만들리니
이는 내가 저를 택하여 내 아들을 삼고 나는 그 아비가 될 것임이라
28:6 And he said to me, Solomon your son will be the builder of my house and the open
spaces round it; for I have taken him to be my son, and I will be his father.
28:6 And he said unto me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my
courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
28:7 저가 만일 나의 계명과 규례를 힘써 준행하기를 오늘날과 같이 하면 내가
그 나라를 영원히 견고케 하리라 하셨느니라
28:7 I will keep his kingdom in its place for ever, if he is strong at all times to do
my orders and keep my rules, as at this day.
28:7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to
do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.
28:8 이제 너희는 온 이스라엘 곧 여호와의 회중의 보는 데와 우리 하나님의 들으시는 데서
너희 하나님 여호와의 모든 계명을 구하여 지키기로 하라 그리하면 너희가 이 아름다운
땅을 누리고 너희 후손에게 끼쳐 영원한 기업이 되게 하리라
28:8 So now, before the eyes of all Israel, the people of the Lord, and in the hearing
of our God, keep and be true to the orders of the Lord your God; so that you may
have this good land for yourselves and give it for a heritage to your children after
you for ever.
28:8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD,
and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the
LORD your God: that all of you may possess this good land, and leave it for
an inheritance for your children after you for ever.
28:9 내 아들 솔로몬아 너는 네 아비의 하나님을 알고 온전한 마음과 기쁜 뜻으로
섬길지어다 여호와께서는 뭇 마음을 감찰하사 모든 사상을 아시나니 네가 저를 찾으면
만날 것이요 버리면 저가 너를 영원히 버리시리라
28:9 And you, Solomon my son, get knowledge of the God of your father, and be his servant
with a true heart and with a strong desire, for the Lord is the searcher of all
hearts, and has knowledge of all the designs of men's thoughts; if you make search
for him, he will be near you; but if you are turned away from him, he will give
you up for ever.
28:9 And you, Solomon my son, know you the God of your father, and serve
him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searches all
hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts: if you seek him,
he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.
28:10 그런즉 너는 삼갈지어다 여호와께서 너를 택하여 성소의 전을 건축하게
하셨으니 힘써 행할지니라
28:10 Now then, take note; for the Lord has made selection of you to be the builder of
a house for the holy place. Be strong and do it.
28:10 Take heed now; for the LORD has chosen you to build an house for the
sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
28:11 ○ 다윗이 전의 낭실과 그 집들과 그 곳간과 다락과 골방과 속죄소의 식양을
그 아들 솔로몬에게 주고
28:11 Then David gave to his son Solomon the design of the doorway of the house of God
and of its houses and its store-houses, and the higher rooms and the inner rooms
and the place for the mercy-seat;
28:11 Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of
the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers
thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
28:12 또 성신의 가르치신 모든 식양 곧 여호와의 전의 뜰과 사면의 모든 방과
하나님의 전 곳간과 성물 곳간의 식양을 주고
28:12 And the design of all he had in his heart for the outer squares of the house of
the Lord, and for the rooms all round it, and for the store-houses of the house
of the Lord, and for the store-houses for the holy things;
28:12 And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of
the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries
of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:
28:13 또 제사장과 레위 사람의 반열과 여호와의 전에 섬기는 모든 일과 섬기는 데
쓰는 모든 그릇의 식양을 설명하고
28:13 And for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work in connection
with the worship of the house of the Lord, and all the vessels used in the house
of the Lord;
28:13 Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the
work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service
in the house of the LORD.
28:14 또 모든 섬기는 데 쓰는 금 기명을 만들 금의 중량과 모든 섬기는 데 쓰는
은 기명을 만들 은의 중량을 정하고
28:14 Of gold, by weight, for the vessels of gold, for all the vessels of different uses;
and silver for all the vessels of silver by weight, for vessels of different uses;
28:14 He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of
all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight,
for all instruments of every kind of service:
28:15 또 금 등대들과 그 등잔 곧 각 등대와 그 등잔을 만들 금의 중량과 은 등대와
그 등잔을 만들 은의 중량을 각기 적당하게 하고
28:15 And gold by weight for the light-supports and the vessels for the lights, the weight
of gold needed for every support and every vessel for lights; and for the silver
light-supports, the weight of silver needed for every support and for the different
vessels as every one was to be used;
28:15 Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of
gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the
candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the
lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.
28:16 또 진설병의 각 상을 만들 금의 중량을 정하고 은상을 만들 은도 그렇게 하고
28:16 And gold by weight for the tables for the holy bread for every table, and silver
for the silver tables;
28:16 And by weight he gave gold for the tables of showbread, for every table;
and likewise silver for the tables of silver:
28:17 고기 갈고리와 대접과 종자를 만들 정금과 금 잔 곧 각 잔을 만들 금의 중량과
또 은 잔 곧 각 잔을 만들 은의 중량을 정하고
28:17 Clear gold for the meat-hooks and the basins and the cups; for the gold basins,
gold enough by weight for every basin; and silver by weight for every silver basin;
28:17 Also pure gold for the forks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for
the golden basons he gave gold by weight for every basin; and likewise silver
by weight for every basin of silver:
28:18 또 향단에 쓸 정금과 또 타시는 처소 된 그룹들의 식양대로 만들 금의 중량을
정하여 주니 이 그룹들은 날개를 펴서 여호와의 언약궤를 덮는 것이더라
28:18 And the best gold for the altar of perfumes; and gold for the design of the carriage,
for the winged ones whose wings were outstretched covering the ark of the Lord's
agreement.
28:18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the
pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered
the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
28:19 다윗이 가로되 이 위의 모든 것의 식양을 여호와의 손이 내게 임하여 그려
나로 알게 하셨느니라
28:19 All this, said David, the design for all these things, has been made dear to me
in writing by the hand of the Lord.
28:19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his
hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.
28:20 ○ 또 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르되 너는 강하고 담대하게 이 일을 행하고
두려워 말며 놀라지 말라 네가 여호와의 전 역사의 모든 일을 마칠 동안에 여호와
하나님 나의 하나님이 너와 함께 하사 네게서 떠나지 아니하시고 너를 버리지 아니하시리라
28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, Be strong and of a good heart and do your work;
have no fear and do not be troubled, for the Lord God, my God, is with you; he will
not give you up, and his face will not be turned away from you, till all the work
necessary for the house of the Lord is complete.
28:20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and
do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with
you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the
work for the service of the house of the LORD.
28:21 제사장과 레위 사람의 반열이 있으니 여호와의 전의 모든 역사를 도울 것이요
또 모든 공역에 공교한 공장이 기쁜 마음으로 너와 함께 할 것이요 또 모든 장관과
백성이 온전히 네 명령 아래 있으리라
28:21 And see, there are the divisions of the priests and Levites for all the work of
the house of God; and every trained and expert workman will be ready to do for you
whatever is needed; and the captains and the people will be under your orders in
everything.
28:21 And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they
shall be with you for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be
with you for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner
of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at your commandment.
29:1 다윗 왕이 온 회중에게 이르되 내 아들 솔로몬이 홀로 하나님의 택하신 바
되었으나 오히려 어리고 연약하고 이 역사는 크도다 이 전은 사람을 위한 것이 아니요
여호와 하나님을 위한 것이라
29:1 And David the king said to all the people, Solomon my son, the only one who has
been marked out by God, is still young and untested, and the work is great, for
this great house is not for man, but for the Lord God.
29:1 Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my
son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great:
for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
29:2 내가 이미 내 하나님의 전을 위하여 힘을 다하여 예비하였나니 곧 기구를
만들 금과 은과 놋과 철과 나무며 또 마노와 박을 보석과 꾸밀 보석과 채석과 다른
보석들과 화반석이 매우 많으며
29:2 Now as far as I am able, I have made ready what is needed for the house of my God;
the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the silver things, and the brass
for the brass things, iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood;
beryls and jewels to be framed, and stones of different colours for ornament; all
sorts of stones of great price, and polished building-stone, as much as is needed
and more.
29:2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold
for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the
brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things
of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, flashing stones, and of divers colours,
and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
29:3 성전을 위하여 예비한 이 모든 것 외에도 내 마음에 내 하나님의 전을 사모하므로
나의 사유의 금 은으로 내 하나님의 전을 위하여 드렸노니
29:3 And because this house of God is dear to me, I give my private store of gold and
silver to the house of my God, in addition to all I have got ready for the holy
house;
29:3 Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I
have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the
house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.
29:4 곧 오빌의 금 삼천 달란트와 천은 칠천 달란트라 모든 전 벽에 입히며
29:4 Even three thousand talents of gold of Ophir and seven thousand talents of the best
silver, for plating the walls of the house:
29:4 Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven
thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses likewise:
29:5 금, 은 그릇을 만들며 공장의 손으로 하는 모든 일에 쓰게 하였노니 오늘날
누가 즐거이 손에 채워 여호와께 드리겠느냐
29:5 Gold for the gold things, and silver for the silver things, and for every sort of
work to be done by the expert workmen. Who then will come forward, offering himself
this day for the Lord's work?
29:5 The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and
for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is
willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?
29:6 ○ 이에 모든 족장과 이스라엘 모든 지파 어른과 천부장과 백부장과 왕의
사무 감독이 다 즐거이 드리되
29:6 Then the heads of families and the chiefs of the tribes of Israel, and the captains
of thousands and of hundreds, with the controllers of the king's business, freely
gave themselves;
29:6 Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and
the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work,
offered willingly,
29:7 하나님의 전 역사를 위하여 금 오천 달란트와 금 다릭 일만과 은 일만 달란트와
놋 일만 팔천 달란트와 철 십만 달란트를 드리고
29:7 And they gave for the use of the house of the Lord, five thousand talents and ten
thousand darics of gold, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand
talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron.
29:7 And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents
and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen
thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
29:8 무릇 보석이 있는 자는 게르손 사람 여히엘의 손에 부쳐 여호와의 전 곳간에
드렸더라
29:8 And those who had stones of great price gave them to the store of the house of the
Lord, under the care of Jehiel the Gershonite.
29:8 And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure
of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
29:9 백성이 자기의 즐거이 드림으로 기뻐하였으니 곧 저희가 성심으로 여호와께
즐거이 드림이며 다윗 왕도 기쁨을 이기지 못하여 하니라
29:9 Then the people were glad because their offerings were freely given, for with a
true heart they freely gave what they had to the Lord; and David the king was full
of joy.
29:9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with
perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced
with great joy.
29:10 ○ 다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 여호와를 송축하여 가로되 우리 조상 이스라엘의
하나님 여호와여 주는 영원히 송축을 받으시옵소서
29:10 So David gave praise to the Lord before all the people; and David said, Praise be
to you, O Lord the God of Israel, our father for ever and ever.
29:10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David
said, Blessed be you, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
29:11 여호와여 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 이김과 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니
천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는
높으사 만유의 머리심이니이다
29:11 Yours, O Lord, is the strength and the power and the glory, and the authority and
the honour: for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours is the kingdom,
O Lord, and you are lifted up as head over all.
29:11 Yours, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the
victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is
yours; yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.
29:12 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만유의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이
있사오니 모든 자를 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다
29:12 Wealth and honour come from you, and you are ruler over all, and in your hand is
power and strength; it is in your power to make great, and to give strength to all.
29:12 Both riches and honour come of you, and you reign over all; and in
yours hand is power and might; and in yours hand it is to make great, and to
give strength unto all.
29:13 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다
29:13 So now, our God, we give you praise, honouring the glory of your name.
29:13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
29:14 나와 나의 백성이 무엇이관대 이처럼 즐거운 마음으로 드릴 힘이 있었나이까
모든 것이 주께로 말미암았사오니 우리가 주의 손에서 받은 것으로 주께 드렸을 뿐이니이다
29:14 But who am I and what is my people, that we have power to give so freely in this
way? for all things come from you, and what we have given you is yours.
29:14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer
so willingly after this sort? for all things come of you, and of yours own have
we given you.
29:15 주 앞에서는 우리가 우리 열조와 다름이 없이 나그네와 우거한 자라 세상에
있는 날이 그림자 같아서 머무름이 없나이다
29:15 For we, as all our fathers were, are like men from a strange country before you,
who have got a place for a time in the land; our days on the earth are like a shade,
and there is no hope of going on.
29:15 For we are strangers before you, and sojourners, as were all our fathers:
our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
29:16 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리가 주의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하려고
미리 저축한 이 모든 물건이 다 주의 손에서 왔사오니 다 주의 것이니이다
29:16 O Lord our God, all this store, which we have made ready for the building of a house
for your holy name, comes from your hand and is yours.
29:16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you an
house for yours holy name comes of yours hand, and is all yours own.
29:17 나의 하나님이여 주께서 마음을 감찰하시고 정직을 기뻐하시는 줄 내가 아나이다
내가 정직한 마음으로 이 모든 것을 즐거이 드렸사오며 이제 내가 또 여기 있는 주의
백성이 주께 즐거이 드리는 것을 보오니 심히 기쁘도소이다
29:17 And I am conscious, my God, that you are the searcher of hearts, taking pleasure
in righteousness. As for me, with an upright heart I have freely given all these
things; and I have seen with joy your people who are here to make their offerings
freely to you.
29:17 I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness.
As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these
things: and now have I seen with joy your people, which are present here, to
offer willingly unto you.
29:18 우리 열조 아브라함과 이삭과 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주께서 이것을
주의 백성의 심중에 영원히 두어 생각하게 하시고 그 마음을 예비하여 주께로 돌아오게
하옵시며
29:18 O Lord, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for
ever in the deepest thoughts of your people, and let their hearts be fixed and true
to you;
29:18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this
for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of your people, and
prepare their heart unto you:
29:19 또 내 아들 솔로몬에게 정성된 마음을 주사 주의 계명과 법도와 율례를
지켜 이 모든 일을 행하게 하시고 내가 위하여 예비한 것으로 전을 건축하게 하옵소서
29:19 And give to Solomon my son a true heart, to keep your orders, your rules, and your
laws, and to do all these things, and to put up this great house for which I have
made ready.
29:19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments,
your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build
the palace, for the which I have made provision.
29:20 ○ 다윗이 온 회중에게 이르되 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와를 송축하라 하매
회중이 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 송축하고 머리를 숙여 여호와와 왕에게 절하고
29:20 And David said to all the people, Now give praise to the Lord your God. And all
the people gave praise to the Lord, the God of their fathers, with bent heads worshipping
the Lord and the king.
29:20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God.
And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down
their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.
29:21 이튿날 여호와께 제사를 드리고 또 번제를 드리니 수송아지가 일천이요
수양이 일천이요 어린 양이 일천이요 또 그 전제라 온 이스라엘을 위하여 풍성한
제물을 드리고
29:21 And they made offerings to the Lord, and gave burned offerings to the Lord, on the
day after, a thousand oxen, a thousand sheep, and a thousand lambs, with their drink
offerings, and a great wealth of offerings for all Israel.
29:21 And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings
unto the LORD, on the next day after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand
rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance
for all Israel:
29:22 이 날에 무리가 크게 기뻐하여 여호와 앞에서 먹으며 마셨더라 ○ 무리가
다윗의 아들 솔로몬으로 다시 왕을 삼아 기름을 부어 여호와께 돌려 주권자가 되게
하고 사독에게도 기름을 부어 제사장이 되게 하니라
29:22 And with great joy they made a feast before the Lord that day. And they made Solomon,
the son of David, king a second time, putting the holy oil on him to make him holy
to the Lord as ruler, and on Zadok as priest.
29:22 And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness.
And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him
unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
29:23 솔로몬이 여호와께서 주신 위에 앉아 부친 다윗을 이어 왕이 되어 형통하니
온 이스라엘이 그 명령을 순종하며
29:23 So Solomon was put on the seat of the Lord as king in place of his father David,
and everything went well for him; and all Israel was under his authority.
29:23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David
his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
29:24 모든 방백과 용사와 다윗 왕의 여러 아들이 솔로몬 왕에게 복종하니
29:24 And all the chiefs and the men of war and all the sons of King David put themselves
under the authority of Solomon the king.
29:24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise
of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.
29:25 여호와께서 솔로몬으로 이스라엘 무리의 목전에 심히 존대케 하시고 또
왕의 위엄을 주사 그 전 이스라엘 모든 왕보다 뛰어나게 하셨더라
29:25 And the Lord made Solomon great in the eyes of all Israel, clothing him with glory
and honour such as no other king in Israel had had before him.
29:25 And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel,
and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before
him in Israel.
29:26 ○ 이새의 아들 다윗이 온 이스라엘의 왕이 되어
29:26 Now David, the son of Jesse, was king over all Israel.
29:26 Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
29:27 이스라엘을 치리한 날짜는 사십 년이라 헤브론에서 칠 년을 치리하였고 예루살렘에서
삼십 삼 년을 치리하였더라
29:27 For forty years he was ruling as king over Israel, seven years in Hebron and thirty-three
years in Jerusalem.
29:27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years
reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
29:28 저가 나이 많아 늙도록 부하고 존귀하다가 죽으매 그 아들 솔로몬이 대신하여
왕이 되니라
29:28 And he came to his end after a long life, full of days and great wealth and honour;
and Solomon his son became king in his place.
29:28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and
Solomon his son reigned in his position.
29:29 다윗 왕의 시종 행적이 선견자 사무엘의 글과 선지자 나단의 글과 선견자
갓의 글에 다 기록되고
29:29 Now all the acts of David, first and last, are recorded in the words of Samuel the
seer, and the words of Nathan the prophet, and the words of Gad the seer;
29:29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written
in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in
the book of Gad the seer,
29:30 또 저의 왕 된 일과 그 권세와 저와 이스라엘과 온 세상 열국의 지난 시사가
다 기록되니라
29:30 Together with all his rule and his power, and the events which took place in his
time, in Israel and in all the kingdoms of other lands.
29:30 With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him,
and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
