28:1 이 해 유다 왕 시드기야의 즉위한 지 오래지 않은 해 곧 사 년 오 월에 기브온
앗술의 아들 선지자 하나냐가 여호와의 집에서 제사장들과 모든 백성 앞에서 내게
말하여 가로되
28:1 And it came about in that year, when Zedekiah first became king of Judah, in the
fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah, the son of Azzur the prophet, who
came from Gibeon, said to Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, before the priests
and all the people,
28:1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of
Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah
the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spoke unto me in the house
of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
28:2 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하여 가라사대 내가 바벨론
왕의 멍에를 꺾었느니라
28:2 These are the words of the Lord of armies, the God of Israel: By me the yoke of
the king of Babylon has been broken.
28:2 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken
the yoke of the king of Babylon.
28:3 내가 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 이곳에서 바벨론으로 옮겨간 여호와의 집 모든
기구를 두 해가 차기 전에 다시 이곳으로 가져오게 하겠고
28:3 In the space of two years I will send back into this place all the vessels of the
Lord's house which Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took away from this place to
Babylon:
28:3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels
of the LORD's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this
place, and carried them to Babylon:
28:4 내가 또 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고니야와 바벨론으로 간 유다 모든 포로를
다시 이곳으로 돌아오게 하리니 이는 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾을 것임이니라 여호와의
말이니라 하셨다 하는지라
28:4 And I will let Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, come back to this
place, with all the prisoners of Judah who went to Babylon, says the Lord: for I
will have the yoke of the king of Babylon broken.
28:4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king
of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, says the LORD:
for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
28:5 선지자 예레미야가 여호와의 집에 선 제사장들의 앞과 모든 백성 앞에서 선지자
하나냐에게 말할새
28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, before the priests and all
the people who had come into the house of the Lord,
28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence
of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house
of the LORD,
28:6 선지자 예레미야가 말하되 아멘, 여호와는 이같이 하옵소서 여호와께서 네
예언대로 이루사 여호와의 집 기구와 모든 포로를 바벨론에서 이곳으로 다시 옮겨
오시기를
원하노라
28:6 The prophet Jeremiah said, So be it: may the Lord do so: may the Lord give effect
to the words which you have said, and let the vessels of the Lord's house, and all
the people who have been taken away, come back from Babylon to this place.
28:6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform
your words which you have prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's
house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
28:7 그러나 너는 이제 내가 네 귀와 모든 백성의 귀에 이르는 이 말을 들으라
28:7 But still, give ear to this word which I am saying to you and to all the people:
28:7 Nevertheless hear you now this word that I speak in yours ears, and
in the ears of all the people;
28:8 나와 너 이전 선지자들이 자고로 여러 나라와 큰 국가들에 대하여 전쟁과
재앙과 염병을 예언하였느니라
28:8 The prophets, who were before me and before you, from early times gave word to a
number of countries and great kingdoms about war and destruction and disease.
28:8 The prophets that have been before me and before you of old prophesied
both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil,
and of pestilence.
28:9 평화를 예언하는 선지자는 그 예언자의 말이 응한 후에야 그는 진실로 여호와의
보내신 선지자로 알게 되리라
28:9 The prophet whose words are of peace, when his words come true, will be seen to
be a prophet whom the Lord has sent.
28:9 The prophet which prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet
shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD has truly
sent him.
28:10 선지자 하나냐가 선지자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 취하여 꺾고
28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and
it was broken by his hands.
28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's
neck, and brake it.
28:11 모든 백성 앞에서 말하여 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 두
해가 차기 전에 열방의 목에서 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 멍에를 이같이 꺾어 버리리라
하셨느니라 하매 선지자 예레미야가 자기 길을 가니라
28:11 And before all the people Hananiah said, The Lord has said, Even so will I let the
yoke of the king of Babylon be broken off the necks of all the nations in the space
of two years. Then the prophet Jeremiah went away.
28:11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus
says the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon
from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet
Jeremiah went his way.
28:12 ○ 선지자 하나냐가 선지자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 꺾어 버린 후에 여호와의
말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
28:12 Then after the yoke had been broken off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah by Hananiah
the prophet, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
28:12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that
Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah,
saying,
28:13 너는 가서 하나냐에게 말하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 네가 나무 멍에를
꺾었으나 그 대신 쇠 멍에를 만들었느니라
28:13 Go and say to Hananiah, This is what the Lord has said: Yokes of wood have been
broken by you, but in their place I will make yokes of iron.
28:13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus says the LORD; You have broken the
yokes of wood; but you shall make for them yokes of iron.
28:14 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 내가 쇠 멍에로 이
모든 나라의 목에 메워 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기게 하였으니 그들이 그를 섬기리라
내가 들짐승도 그에게 주었느니라 하신다 하라
28:14 For the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: I have put a yoke of iron on
the necks of all these nations, making them servants to Nebuchadnezzar, king of
Babylon; and they are to be his servants: and in addition I have given him the beasts
of the field.
28:14 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke
of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar
king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of
the field also.
28:15 선지자 예레미야가 선지자 하나냐에게 이르되 하나냐여 들으라 여호와께서
너를 보내지 아니하셨거늘 네가 이 백성으로 거짓을 믿게 하는도다
28:15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, Give ear, now, Hananiah;
the Lord has not sent you; but you are making this people put their faith in what
is false.
28:15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now,
Hananiah; The LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a
lie.
28:16 그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 너를 지면에서 제하리니 네가 여호와께
패역하는 말을 하였음이라 금년에 죽으리라 하셨느니라 하더니
28:16 For this reason the Lord has said, See, I will send you away from off the face of
the earth: this year death will overtake you, because you have said words against
the Lord.
28:16 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will cast you from off the
face of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion
against the LORD.
28:17 선지자 하나냐가 그 해 칠 월에 죽었더라
28:17 So death came to Hananiah the prophet the same year, in the seventh month.
28:17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
29:1 선지자 예레미야가 예루살렘에서 이같은 편지를 느부갓네살이 예루살렘에서
바벨론으로 옮겨 간 포로 중 남아 있는 장로들과 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성에게
보내었는데
29:1 Now these are the words of the letter which Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem
to the responsible men among those who had been taken away, and to the priests and
the prophets and to all the rest of the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken away
prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon;
29:1 Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent
from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives,
and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar
had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
29:2 때는 여고니야 왕과 국모와 환관들과 및 유다와 예루살렘 방백들과 목공들과
철공들이 예루살렘에서 떠난 후라
29:2 (After Jeconiah the king and the queen-mother and the unsexed servants and the rulers
of Judah and Jerusalem and the expert workmen and the metal-workers had gone away
from Jerusalem;)
29:2 (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes
of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from
Jerusalem;)
29:3 유다 왕 시드기야가 바벨론으로 보내어 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살에게로 가게
한 사반의 아들 엘라사와 힐기야의 아들 그마랴의 손에 위탁하였더라 일렀으되
29:3 By the hand of Elasah, the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah, the son of Hilkiah, (whom
Zedekiah, king of Judah, sent to Babylon, to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon,) saying,
29:3 By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah,
(whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon)
saying,
29:4 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡혀
가게 한 모든 포로에게 이같이 이르노라
29:4 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said to all those whom I
have taken away prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylon:
29:4 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried
away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
29:5 너희는 집을 짓고 거기 거하며 전원을 만들고 그 열매를 먹으라
29:5 Go on building houses and living in them, and planting gardens and using the fruit
of them;
29:5 Build all of you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat
the fruit of them;
29:6 아내를 취하여 자녀를 생산하며 너희 아들로 아내를 취하며 너희 딸로 남편을
맞아 그들로 자녀를 생산케 하여 너희로 거기서 번성하고 쇠잔하지 않게 하라
29:6 Take wives and have sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons, and give your
daughters to husbands, so that they may have sons and daughters; and be increased
in number there and do not become less.
29:6 Take all of you wives, and brought forth sons and daughters; and take
wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear
sons and daughters; that all of you may be increased there, and not diminished.
29:7 너희는 내가 사로잡혀 가게 한 그 성읍의 평안하기를 힘쓰고 위하여 여호와께
기도하라 이는 그 성이 평안함으로 너희도 평안할 것임이니라
29:7 And be working for the peace of the land to which I have had you taken away prisoners,
and make prayer to the Lord for it: for in its peace you will have peace.
29:7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried
away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall
all of you have peace.
29:8 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 너희 중 선지자들에게와
복술에게 혹하지 말며 너희가 꾼 바 꿈도 신청하지 말라
29:8 For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Do not let yourselves
be tricked by the prophets who are among you, and the readers of signs, and give
no attention to their dreams which they may have;
29:8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets
and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken
to your dreams which all of you cause to be dreamed.
29:9 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였어도 그들이 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언함이니라
여호와의 말이니라
29:9 For they are saying to you what is false in my name: I have not sent them, says
the Lord.
29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them,
says the LORD.
29:10 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 바벨론에서 칠십 년이 차면 내가 너희를 권고하고
나의 선한 말을 너희에게 실행하여 너희를 이곳으로 돌아오게 하리라
29:10 For this is what the Lord has said: When seventy years are ended for Babylon, I
will have pity on you and give effect to my good purpose for you, causing you to
come back to this place.
29:10 For thus says the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at
Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you
to return to this place.
29:11 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희를 향한 나의 생각은 내가 아나니 재앙이 아니라
곧 평안이요 너희 장래에 소망을 주려 하는 생각이라
29:11 For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and
not of evil, to give you hope at the end.
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts
of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
29:12 너희는 내게 부르짖으며 와서 내게 기도하면 내가 너희를 들을 것이요
29:12 And you will go on crying to me and making prayer to me, and I will give ear to
you.
29:12 Then shall all of you call upon me, and all of you shall go and pray
unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
29:13 너희가 전심으로 나를 찾고 찾으면 나를 만나리라
29:13 And you will be searching for me and I will be there, when you have gone after me
with all your heart.
29:13 And all of you shall seek me, and find me, when all of you shall search
for me with all your heart.
29:14 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 너희에게 만나지겠고 너희를 포로 된 중에서
다시 돌아오게 하되 내가 쫓아 보내었던 열방과 모든 곳에서 모아 사로잡혀 떠나게
하던 본 곳으로 돌아오게 하리라 여호와의 말이니라 하셨느니라
29:14 I will be near you again, says the Lord, and your fate will be changed, and I will
get you together from all the nations and from all the places where I had sent you
away, says the Lord; and I will take you back again to the place from which I sent
you away prisoners.
29:14 And I will be found of you, says the LORD: and I will turn away your
captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places
where I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again into the
place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
29:15 ○ 너희가 말하기를 여호와께서 바벨론에서 우리를 위하여 선지자들을 일으키셨다
하므로
29:15 For you have said, The Lord has given us prophets in Babylon.
29:15 Because all of you have said, The LORD has raised us up prophets in
Babylon;
29:16 여호와께서 다윗의 위에 앉은 왕과 이 성에 거하는 모든 백성 곧 너희와
함께 포로 되어 가지 아니한 너희 형제에게 대하여 이같이 말씀하시느니라
29:16 For this is what the Lord has said about the king who is seated on the seat of David's
kingdom, and about all the people living in this town, your countrymen who have
not gone out with you as prisoners;
29:16 Know that thus says the LORD of the king that sits upon the throne
of David, and of all the people that dwells in this city, and of your brethren
that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
29:17 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 칼과 기근과 염병을 그들에게
보내어 그들로 악하여 먹을 수 없는 악한 무화과 같게 하겠고
29:17 This is what the Lord of armies has said: See, I will send on them the sword and
need of food and disease, and will make them like bad figs, which are of no use
for food, they are so bad.
29:17 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword,
the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot
be eaten, they are so evil.
29:18 내가 칼과 기근과 염병으로 그들을 따르게 하며 그들을 세계 열방 중에
흩어 학대를 당하게 할 것이며 내가 그들을 쫓아 보낸 열방 중에서 저주거리와 놀램과
치소와 모욕거리가 되게 하리니
29:18 I will go after them, attacking them with the sword and with need of food and with
disease, and will make them a cause of fear to all the kingdoms of the earth, to
be a curse and a wonder and a surprise and a name of shame among all the nations
where I have sent them:
29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with
the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the
earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among
all the nations where I have driven them:
29:19 이는 내가 내 종 선지자들을 그들에게 보내되 부지런히 보내었으나 그들이
나 여호와의 말을 듣지 아니하며 듣지 아니함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
29:19 Because they have not given ear to my words, says the Lord, when I sent to them
my servants the prophets, getting up early and sending them; but you did not give
ear, says the Lord.
29:19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, says the LORD, which I
sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them;
but all of you would not hear, says the LORD.
29:20 그런즉 내가 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 보낸 너희 모든 포로여 나 여호와의
말을 들을지니라
29:20 And now, give ear to the word of the Lord, all you whom I have sent away prisoners
from Jerusalem to Babylon.
29:20 Hear all of you therefore the word of the LORD, all you of the captivity,
whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon:
29:21 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 골라야의 아들 아합과 마아세야의
아들 시드기야에 대하여 말하노라 그들은 내 이름으로 너희에게 거짓을 예언한 자라
보라 내가 그들을 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 붙이리니 그가 너희 목전에서 그들을
죽일 것이라
29:21 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said about Ahab, the son
of Kolaiah, and about Zedekiah, the son of Maaseiah, who are saying to you what
is false in my name: See, I will give them up into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar,
king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your eyes.
29:21 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of
Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you
in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king
of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;
29:22 너희 바벨론에 있는 유다 모든 포로가 그들로 저주거리를 삼아서 이르기를
여호와께서 너로 바벨론 왕이 불살라 죽인 시드기야와 아합 같게 하시기를 원하노라
하리니
29:22 And their fate will be used as a curse by all the prisoners of Judah who are in
Babylon, who will say, May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, who were
burned in the fire by the king of Babylon;
29:22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah
which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab,
whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;
29:23 이는 그들이 이스라엘 중에서 망령되이 행하여 그 이웃의 아내와 행음하며
내가 그들에게 명하지 아니한 거짓을 내 이름으로 말함이니라 나는 아는 자요 증거인이니라
여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하였더라
29:23 Because they have done shame in Israel, and have taken their neighbours' wives,
and in my name have said false words, which I did not give them orders to say; and
I myself am the witness, says the Lord.
29:23 Because they have committed villainy in Israel, and have committed
adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name,
which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, says the LORD.
29:24 ○ 너는 느헬람 사람 스마야에게 이같이 말하여 이르라
29:24 About Shemaiah the Nehelamite.
29:24 Thus shall you also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,
29:25 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하여 가라사대 네가 네
이름으로 예루살렘에 있는 모든 백성과 제사장 마아세야의 아들 스바냐와 모든 제사장에게
글을 보내어 이르기를
29:25 Shemaiah the Nehelamite sent a letter in his name to Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah
the priest, saying,
29:25 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because you
have sent letters in your name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and
to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying,
29:26 여호와께서 너로 제사장 여호야다를 대신하여 제사장을 삼아 여호와의 집
유사로 세우심은 무릇 미친 자와 자칭 선지자를 착고에 채우며 칼을 메우게 하심이어늘
29:26 The Lord has made you priest in place of Jehoiada the priest, to be an overseer
in the house of the Lord for every man who is off his head and is acting as a prophet,
to put such men in prison and in chains.
29:26 The LORD has made you priest in the position of Jehoiada the priest,
that all of you should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that
is mad, and makes himself a prophet, that you should put him in prison, and
in the stocks.
29:27 이제 네가 어찌하여 너희 중에 자칭 선지자라 하는 아나돗 사람 예레미야를
책망하지 아니하느냐
29:27 So why have you made no protest against Jeremiah of Anathoth, who is acting as a
prophet to you?
29:27 Now therefore why have you not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which
makes himself a prophet to you?
29:28 대저 그가 바벨론에 있는 우리에게 편지하기를 때가 오래리니 너희는 집을
짓고 거기 거하며 전원을 만들고 그 열매를 먹으라 하였다 하였느니라
29:28 For he has sent to us in Babylon saying, The time will be long: go on building houses
and living in them, and planting gardens and using the fruit of them.
29:28 For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is
long: build all of you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat
the fruit of them.
29:29 제사장 스바냐가 스마야의 글을 선지자 예레미야에게 읽어 들릴 때에
29:29 And Zephaniah the priest made clear to Jeremiah the prophet what was said in the
letter, reading it to him.
29:29 And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the
prophet.
29:30 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 가라사대
29:30 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
29:30 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
29:31 너는 모든 포로에게 글을 보내어 이르기를 여호와께서 느헬람 사람 스마야에
대하여 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 스마야를 보내지 아니하였거늘 그가 너희에게 예언하고
너희로 거짓을 믿게 하였도다
29:31 Send to all those who have been taken away, saying, This is what the Lord has said
about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has been acting as a prophet to
you, and I did not send him, and has made you put your faith in what is false;
29:31 Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus says the LORD concerning
Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah has prophesied unto you, and
I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:
29:32 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 느헬람 사람 스마야와
그 자손을 벌하리니 그가 나 여호와께 패역한 말을 하였음을 인하여 이 백성 중에
거할 그의 사람이 하나도 없을 것이라 내가 내 백성에게 행하려 하는 선한 일을 그가
보지 못하리라 하셨다 하라 여호와의 말이니라
29:32 For this cause the Lord has said, Truly I will send punishment on Shemaiah and on
his seed; not a man of his family will have a place among this people, and he will
not see the good which I am going to do to my people, says the Lord: because he
has said words against the Lord.
29:32 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite,
and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall
he behold the good that I will do for my people, says the LORD; because he has
taught rebellion against the LORD.
30:1 여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시니라
30:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
30:2 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 일러 가라사대 내가 네게 이른 모든
말을 책에 기록하라
30:2 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Put down in a book all the words which I
have said to you.
30:2 Thus speaks the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write you all the words
that I have spoken unto you in a book.
30:3 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 백성 이스라엘과 유다의 포로를 돌이킬 때가
이르리니 내가 그들을 그 열조에게 준 땅으로 돌아오게 할 것이라 그들이 그것을
차지하리라 여호와의 말이니라
30:3 For see, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will let the fate of my people
Israel and Judah be changed, says the Lord: and I will make them come back to the
land which I gave to their fathers, so that they may take it for their heritage.
30:3 For, lo, the days come, says the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity
of my people Israel and Judah, says the LORD: and I will cause them to return
to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
30:4 ○ 여호와께서 이스라엘과 유다에 대하여 하신 말씀이 이러하니라
30:4 And these are the words which the Lord said about Israel and about Judah.
30:4 And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning
Judah.
30:5 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 우리가 떨리는 소리를 들으니 두려움이요
평안함이 아니로다
30:5 This is what the Lord has said: A voice of shaking fear has come to our ears, of
fear and not of peace.
30:5 For thus says the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear,
and not of peace.
30:6 너희는 자식을 해산하는 남자가 있는가 물어보라 남자마다 해산하는 여인 같이 손으로 각기 허리를 짚고 그 얼굴 빛이 창백하여 보임은 어찜이뇨
30:6 Put the question and see if it is possible for a man to have birth-pains: why do
I see every man with his hands gripping his sides, as a woman does when the pains
of birth are on her, and all faces are turned green?
30:6 Ask all of you now, and see whether a man does travail with child? wherefore
do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all
faces are turned into paleness?
30:7 슬프다 그 날이여 비할 데 없이 크니 이는 야곱의 환난의 때가 됨이로다마는
그가 이에서 구하여 냄을 얻으리로다
30:7 Ha! for that day is so great that there is no day like it: it is the time of Jacob's
trouble: but he will get salvation from it.
30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the
time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
30:8 만군의 여호와가 말하노라 그 날에 내가 네 목에서 그 멍에를 꺾어 버리며
네 줄을 끊으리니 이방인이 다시는 너를 부리지 못할 것이며
30:8 For it will come about on that day, says the Lord of armies, that his yoke will
be broken off his neck, and his bands will be burst; and men of strange lands will
no longer make use of him as their servant:
30:8 For it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that
I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds, and strangers
shall no more make use of him:
30:9 너희는 너희 하나님 나 여호와를 섬기며 내가 너희를 위하여 일으킬 너희
왕 다윗을 섬기리라
30:9 But they will be servants to the Lord their God and to David their king, whom I
will give back to them.
30:9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom
I will raise up unto them.
30:10 그러므로 나 여호와가 말하노라 내 종 야곱아 두려워 말라 이스라엘아 놀라지
말라 내가 너를 원방에서 구원하고 네 자손을 포로된 땅에서 구원하리니 야곱이 돌아와서
태평과 안락을 얻을 것이라 너를 두렵게 할 자 없으리라
30:10 So have no fear, O Jacob, my servant, says the Lord; and do not be troubled, O Israel:
for see, I will make you come back from far away, and your seed from the land where
they are prisoners; and Jacob will come back, and will be quiet and at peace, and
no one will give him cause for fear.
30:10 Therefore fear you not, O my servant Jacob, says the LORD; neither
be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save you from far, and your seed from
the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and
be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
30:11 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 너와 함께 하여 너를 구원할 것이라 내가 너를
흩었던 그 열방은 진멸한다 할지라도 너는 진멸하지 아니하리라 그러나 내가 공도로
너를 징책할 것이요 결코 무죄한 자로 여기지 아니하리라
30:11 For I am with you, says the Lord, to be your saviour: for I will put an end to all
the nations where I have sent you wandering, but I will not put an end to you completely:
though with wise purpose I will put right your errors, and will not let you go quite
without punishment.
30:11 For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: though I make a full
end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end
of you: but I will correct you in measure, and will not leave you altogether
unpunished.
30:12 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 네 상처는 고칠 수 없고 네 창상은 중하도다
30:12 For the Lord has said, Your disease may not be made well and your wound is bitter.
30:12 For thus says the LORD, Your bruise is incurable, and your wound is
grievous.
30:13 네 송사를 변호할 자가 없고 네 상처를 싸맬 약이 없도다
30:13 There is no help for your wound, there is nothing to make you well.
30:13 There is none to plead your cause, that you may be bound up: you have
no healing medicines.
30:14 너를 사랑하던 자가 다 너를 잊고 찾지 아니하니 이는 네 허물이 크고 네
죄가 수다함을 인하여 내가 대적의 상하게 하는 그것으로 너를 상하게 하며 잔학한
자의 징계하는 그것으로 너를 징계함이어늘
30:14 Your lovers have no more thought for you, they go after you no longer; for I have
given you the wound of a hater, even cruel punishment;
30:14 All your lovers have forgotten you; they seek you not; for I have wounded
you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the
multitude of yours iniquity; because your sins were increased.
30:15 어찌하여 네 상처를 인하여 부르짖느뇨 네 고통이 낫지 못하리라 네 죄악의
큼과 죄의 수다함을 인하여 내가 네게 이 일을 행하였느니라
30:15 Why are you crying for help because of your wound? for your pain may never be taken
away: because your evil-doing was so great and because your sins were increased,
I have done these things to you.
30:15 Why cry you for yours affliction? your sorrow is incurable for the
multitude of yours iniquity: because your sins were increased, I have done these
things unto you.
30:16 그러나 무릇 너를 먹는 자는 먹히며 무릇 너를 치는 자는 다 포로가 되며
너를 탈취하는 자는 탈취를 당하며 무릇 너를 약탈하는 자는 내가 그로 약탈을 당하게
하리라
30:16 For this cause, all those who take you for their food will themselves become your
food; and all your attackers, every one of them, will be taken prisoners; and those
who send destruction on you will come to destruction; and all those who take away
your goods by force will undergo the same themselves.
30:16 Therefore all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all yours
adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil
you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey.
30:17 나 여호와가 말하노라 그들이 쫓겨난 자라 하며 찾는 자가 없는 시온이라
한즉 내가 너를 치료하여 네 상처를 낫게 하리라
30:17 For I will make you healthy again and I will make you well from your wounds, says
the Lord; because they have given you the name of an outlaw, saying, It is Zion
cared for by no man.
30:17 For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds,
says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom
no man seeks after.
30:18 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 포로된 야곱의 장막들을 돌이키고 그
거하는 곳들을 긍휼히 여길 것이라 그 성읍은 자기 산에 중건 될 것이요 그 궁궐은
본래대로 거하는 곳이 될 것이며
30:18 The Lord has said, See, I am changing the fate of the tents of Jacob, and I will
have pity on his houses; the town will be put up on its hill, and the great houses
will be living-places again.
30:18 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's
tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; and the city shall be built upon
her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
30:19 감사하는 소리와 즐거워하는 자의 목소리가 그 중에서 나오리라 내가 그들을
번성케 하리니 쇠잔치 아니하겠고 내가 그들을 영화롭게 하리니 비천하지 아니하겠으며
30:19 And from them will go out praise and the sound of laughing: and I will make them
great in number, and they will not become less; and I will give them glory, and
they will not be small.
30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that
make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also
glorify them, and they shall not be small.
30:20 그 자손은 여전하겠고 그 회중은 내 앞에 굳게 설 것이며 무릇 그를 압박하는
자는 내가 다 벌하리라
30:20 And their children will be as they were in the old days, and the meeting of the
people will have its place before me, and I will send punishment on all who are
cruel to them.
30:20 Their children also shall be as in old times, and their congregation
shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
30:21 그 왕은 그 본족에게서 날 것이요 그 통치자는 그들 중에서 나올 것이며
내가 그를 가까이 오게 하므로 그가 내게 접근하리라 그렇지 않고 담대히 내게 접근할
자가 누구뇨 여호와의 말이니라
30:21 And their chief will be of their number; their ruler will come from among themselves;
and I will let him be present before me, so that he may come near to me: for who
may have strength of heart to come near me? says the Lord.
30:21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed
from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach
unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? says the
LORD.
30:22 너희는 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 너희 하나님이 되리라
30:22 And you will be my people, and I will be your God.
30:22 And all of you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
30:23 ○ 보라 여호와의 노가 발하여 폭풍과 회리바람처럼 악인의 머리를 칠 것이라
30:23 See, the storm-wind of the Lord, even the heat of his wrath, has gone out, a rolling
storm, bursting on the heads of the evil-doers.
30:23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goes forth with fury, a continuing
whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
30:24 나 여호와의 진노는 내 마음의 뜻한 바를 행하여 이루기까지는 쉬지 아니하나니
너희가 말일에 그것을 깨달으리라
30:24 The wrath of the Lord will not be turned back till he has done, till he has put
into effect, the purposes of his heart: in days to come you will have full knowledge
of this.
30:24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has done it,
and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days all
of you shall consider it.
31:1 나 여호와가 말하노라 그 때에 내가 이스라엘 모든 가족의 하나님이 되고
그들은 내 백성이 되리라
31:1 At that time, says the Lord, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and
they will be my people.
31:1 At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families
of Israel, and they shall be my people.
31:2 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 칼에서 벗어난 백성이 광야에서 은혜를 얻었나니
곧 내가 이스라엘로 안식을 얻게 하러 갈 때에라
31:2 The Lord has said, Grace came in the waste land to a people kept safe from the sword,
even to Israel on the way to his resting-place.
31:2 Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace
in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
31:3 나 여호와가 옛적에 이스라엘에게 나타나 이르기를 내가 무궁한 사랑으로
너를 사랑하는 고로 인자함으로 너를 인도하였다 하였노라
31:3 From far away he saw the Lord: my love for you is an eternal love: so with mercy
I have made you come with me.
31:3 The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you
with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
31:4 처녀 이스라엘아 내가 다시 너를 세우리니 네가 세움을 입을 것이요 네가
다시 소고로 너를 장식하고 즐거운 무리처럼 춤추며 나올 것이며
m31:4 I will again make new your buildings, O virgin of Israel, and you will take up your
place: again you will take up your instruments of music, and go out in the dances
of those who are glad.
31:4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel:
you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances
of them that make merry.
31:5 네가 다시 사마리아 산들에 포도원을 심되 심는 자가 심고 그 과실을 먹으리라
31:5 Again will your vine-gardens be planted on the hill of Samaria: the planters will
be planting and using the fruit.
31:5 You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters
shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
31:6 에브라임 산 위에서 파숫군이 외치는 날이 이를 것이라 이르기를 너희는 일어나라
우리가 시온에 올라가서 우리 하나님 여호와께로 나아가자 하리라
31:6 For there will be a day when those who get in the grapes on the hills of Ephraim
will be crying, Up! let us go up to Zion to the Lord our God.
31:6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall
cry, Arise all of you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
31:7 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희는 야곱을 위하여 기뻐 노래하며 만국의
머리 된 자를 위하여 외쳐 전파하며 찬양하며 이르기를 여호와여 주의 백성 이스라엘의
남은 자를 구원하소서 하라
31:7 For the Lord has said, Make a glad song for Jacob and give a cry on the top of the
mountains: give the news, give praise, and say, The Lord has given salvation to
his people, even to the rest of Israel.
31:7 For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among
the chief of the nations: publish all of you, praise all of you, and say, O
LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
31:8 보라 내가 그들을 북편 땅에서 인도하며 땅 끝에서부터 모으리니 그들 중에는
소경과 절뚝발이와 잉태한 여인과 해산하는 여인이 함께 하여 큰 무리를 이루어 이곳으로
돌아오되
31:8 See, I will take them from the north country, and get them from the inmost parts
of the earth, and with them the blind and the feeble-footed, the woman with child
and her who is in birth-pains together: a very great army, they will come back here.
31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from
the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with
child and her that labors with child together: a great company shall return
thither.
31:9 울며 올 것이며 그들이 나의 인도함을 입고 간구할 때에 내가 그들로 넘어지지
아니하고 하숫가의 바른 길로 행하게 하리라 나는 이스라엘의 아비요 에브라임은
나의 장자니라
31:9 They will come with weeping, and going before them I will be their guide: guiding
them by streams of water in a straight way where there is no falling: for I am a
father to Israel, and Ephraim is the first of my sons.
31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them:
I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein
they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
31:10 ○ 열방이여 너희는 나 여호와의 말을 듣고 먼 섬에 전파하여 이르기를
이스라엘을 흩으신 자가 그를 모으시고 목자가 그 양 무리에게 행함 같이 그를 지키시리로다
31:10 Give ear to the word of the Lord, O you nations, and give news of it in the sea-lands
far away, and say, He who has sent Israel wandering will get him together and will
keep him as a keeper does his flock.
31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O all of you nations, and declare it in
the isles far off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep
him, as a shepherd does his flock.
31:11 여호와께서 야곱을 속량하시되 그들보다 강한 자의 손에서 구속하셨으니
31:11 For the Lord has given a price for Jacob, and made him free from the hands of him
who was stronger than he.
31:11 For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of
him that was stronger than he.
31:12 그들이 와서 시온의 높은 곳에서 찬송하며 여호와의 은사 곧 곡식과 새
포도주와 기름과 어린 양의 떼와 소의 떼에 모일 것이라 그 심령은 물댄 동산 같겠고
다시는 근심이 없으리로다 할지어다
m31:12 So they will come with songs on the high places, flowing together to the good things
of the Lord, to the grain and the wine and the oil, to the young ones of the flock
and of the herd: their souls will be like a watered garden, and they will have no
more sorrow.
31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall
flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for
oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be
as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
31:13 그 때에 처녀는 춤추며 즐거워하겠고 청년과 노인이 함께 즐거워하리니
내가 그들의 슬픔을 돌이켜 즐겁게 하며 그들을 위로하여 근심한 후에 기쁨을 얻게
할 것임이니라
31:13 Then the virgin will have joy in the dance, and the young men and the old will be
glad: for I will have their weeping turned into joy, I will give them comfort and
make them glad after their sorrow.
31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old
together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and
make them rejoice from their sorrow.
31:14 내가 기름으로 제사장들의 심령에 흡족케 하며 내 은혜로 내 백성에게 만족케
하리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:14 I will give the priests their desired fat things, and my people will have a full
measure of my good things, says the Lord.
31:14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people
shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.
31:15 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 라마에서 슬퍼하며 통곡하는 소리가 들리니
라헬이 그 자식을 위하여 애곡하는 것이라 그가 자식이 없으므로 위로 받기를 거절하는도다
31:15 So has the Lord said: In Ramah there is a sound of crying, weeping and bitter sorrow;
Rachel weeping for her children; she will not be comforted for their loss.
31:15 Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter
weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children,
because they were not.
31:16 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 네 소리를 금하여 울지 말며 네 눈을 금하여
눈물을 흘리지 말라 네 일에 갚음을 받을 것인즉 그들이 그 대적의 땅에서 돌아오리라
여호와의 말이니라
31:16 The Lord has said this: Keep your voice from sorrow and your eyes from weeping:
for your work will be rewarded, says the Lord; and they will come back from the
land of their hater.
31:16 Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and yours eyes
from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come
again from the land of the enemy.
31:17 나 여호와가 말하노라 너의 최후에 소망이 있을 것이라 너의 자녀가 자기들의
경내로 돌아오리라
31:17 And there is hope for the future, says the Lord; and your children will come back
to the land which is theirs.
31:17 And there is hope in yours end, says the LORD, that your children shall
come again to their own border.
31:18 에브라임이 스스로 탄식함을 내가 정녕히 들었노니 이르기를 주께서 나를
징벌하시매 멍에에 익숙지 못한 송아지 같은 내가 징벌을 받았나이다 주는 나의 하나님
여호와시니 나를 이끌어 돌이키소서 그리하시면 내가 돌아오겠나이다
31:18 Certainly Ephraim's words of grief have come to my ears, You have given me training
and I have undergone it like a young cow unused to the yoke: let me be turned and
come back, for you are the Lord my God.
31:18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised
me, and I was chastised, as a bullock is not accustomed to the yoke: turn you
me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.
31:19 내가 돌이킴을 받은 후에 뉘우쳤고 내가 교훈을 받은 후에 내 볼기를 쳤사오니
이는 어렸을 때의 치욕을 진 고로 부끄럽고 욕됨이니이다 하도다
31:19 Truly, after I had been turned, I had regret for my ways; and after I had got knowledge,
I made signs of sorrow: I was put to shame, truly, I was covered with shame, because
I had to undergo the shame of my early years.
31:19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed,
I stroke upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear
the reproach of my youth.
31:20 에브라임은 나의 사랑하는 아들 기뻐하는 자식이 아니냐 내가 그를 책망하여
말할 때마다 깊이 생각하노라 그러므로 그를 위하여 내 마음이 측은한즉 내가 반드시
그를 긍휼히 여기리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he the child of my delight? for whenever I say things
against him, I still keep him in my memory: so my heart is troubled for him; I will
certainly have mercy on him, says the Lord.
31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against
him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for
him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.
31:21 ○ 처녀 이스라엘아 너를 위하여 길 표를 세우며 너를 위하여 표목을 만들고
대로 곧 네가 전에 가던 길에 착념하라 돌아오라 네 성읍들로 돌아오라
31:21 Put up guiding pillars, make road signs for yourself: give attention to the highway,
even the way in which you went: be turned again, O virgin of Israel, be turned to
these your towns.
31:21 Set you up guideposts, make you high heaps: set yours heart toward
the highway, even the way which you went: return, O virgin of Israel, return
to these your cities.
31:22 패역한 딸아 네가 어느 때까지 방황하겠느냐 여호와가 새 일을 세상에 창조하였나니
곧 여자가 남자를 안으리라
31:22 How long will you go on turning this way and that, O wandering daughter? for the
Lord has made a new thing on the earth, a woman changed into a man.
31:22 How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD
has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
31:23 나 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 내가 그 사로잡힌
자를 돌아오게 할 때에 그들이 유다 땅과 그 성읍들에서 다시 이 말을 쓰리니 곧 의로운
처소여, 거룩한 산이여, 여호와께서 네게 복 주시기를 원하노라 할 것이며
31:23 So the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said, Again will these words be used
in the land of Judah and in its towns, when I have let their fate be changed: May
the blessing of the Lord be on you, O resting-place of righteousness, O holy mountain.
31:23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use
this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring
again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain
of holiness.
31:24 유다와 그 모든 성읍의 농부와 양 떼를 인도하는 자가 거기 함께 거하리니
31:24 And Judah and all its towns will be living there together; the farmers and those
who go about with flocks.
31:24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof
together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
31:25 이는 내가 그 피곤한 심령을 만족케 하며 무릇 슬픈 심령을 상쾌케 하였음이니라
하시기로
31:25 For I have given new strength to the tired soul and to every sorrowing soul in full
measure.
31:25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful
soul.
31:26 내가 깨어 보니 내 잠이 달았더라
31:26 At this, awaking from my sleep, I saw; and my sleep was sweet to me.
31:26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
31:27 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 보라 내가 사람의 씨와 짐승의 씨를 이스라엘 집과
유다 집에 뿌릴 날이 이르리니
31:27 See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will have Israel and Judah planted
with the seed of man and with the seed of beast.
31:27 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of
Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
31:28 내가 경성하여 그들을 뽑으며 훼파하며 전복하며 멸하며 곤란케 하던 것 같이 경성하여 그들을 세우며 심으리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:28 And it will come about that, as I have been watching over them for the purpose of
uprooting and smashing down and overturning and sending destruction and causing
trouble; so I will be watching over them for the purpose of building up and planting,
says the Lord.
31:28 And it shall come to pass, that like I have watched over them, to pluck
up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so
will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD.
31:29 그 때에 그들이 다시는 이르기를 아비가 신 포도를 먹었으므로 아들들의
이가 시다 하지 아니하겠고
31:29 In those days they will no longer say, The fathers have been tasting bitter grapes
and the children's teeth are put on edge.
31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour
grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
31:30 신 포도를 먹는 자마다 그 이가 심 같이 각기 자기 죄악으로만 죽으리라
31:30 But everyone will be put to death for the evil which he himself has done: whoever
has taken bitter grapes will himself have his teeth put on edge.
31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the
sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31:31 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 날이 이르리니 내가 이스라엘 집과 유다
집에 새 언약을 세우리라
31:31 See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new agreement with the
people of Israel and with the people of Judah:
31:31 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
31:32 나 여호와가 말하노라 이 언약은 내가 그들의 열조의 손을 잡고 애굽 땅에서
인도하여 내던 날에 세운 것과 같지 아니할 것은 내가 그들의 남편이 되었어도 그들이
내 언약을 파하였음이니라
31:32 Not like the agreement which I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them
by the hand to be their guide out of the land of Egypt; which agreement was broken
by them, and I gave them up, says the Lord.
31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the
day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which
my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the LORD:
31:33 나 여호와가 말하노라 그러나 그 날 후에 내가 이스라엘 집에 세울 언약은
이러하니 곧 내가 나의 법을 그들의 속에 두며 그 마음에 기록하여 나는 그들의 하나님이
되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이라
31:33 But this is the agreement which I will make with the people of Israel after those
days, says the Lord; I will put my law in their inner parts, writing it in their
hearts; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.
31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and
write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
31:34 그들이 다시는 각기 이웃과 형제를 가리켜 이르기를 너는 여호와를 알라
하지 아니하리니 이는 작은 자로부터 큰 자까지 다 나를 앎이니라 내가 그들의 죄악을
사하고 다시는 그 죄를 기억지 아니하리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:34 And no longer will they be teaching every man his neighbour and every man his brother,
saying, Get knowledge of the Lord: for they will all have knowledge of me, from
the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord: for they will have my
forgiveness for their evil-doing, and their sin will go from my memory for ever.
31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man
his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least
of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity,
and I will remember their sin no more.
31:35 ○ 나 여호와는 해를 낮의 빛으로 주었고 달과 별들을 밤의 빛으로 규정하였고
바다를 격동시켜 그 파도로 소리 치게 하나니 내 이름은 만군의 여호와니라 내가 말하노라
31:35 These are the words of the Lord, who has given the sun for a light by day, ordering
the moon and stars for a light by night, who puts the sea in motion, causing the
thunder of its waves; the Lord of armies is his name.
31:35 Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the
ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides
the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
31:36 이 규정이 내 앞에서 폐할진대 이스라엘 자손도 내 앞에서 폐함을 입어
영영히 나라가 되지 못하리라
31:36 If the order of these things before me is ever broken, says the Lord, then will
the seed of Israel come to an end as a nation before me for ever.
31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the
seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
31:37 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 위로 하늘을 측량할 수 있으며 아래로 땅의
기초를 탐지할 수 있다면 내가 이스라엘 자손의 행한 모든 일을 인하여 그들을 다
버리리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:37 This is what the Lord has said: If the heavens on high may be measured, and the
bases of the earth searched out, then I will give up the seed of Israel, because
of all they have done, says the Lord.
31:37 Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations
of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel
for all that they have done, says the LORD.
31:38 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라, 날이 이르리니 이 성을 하나넬 망대에서부터
모퉁이 문까지 여호와를 위하여 건축할 것이라
31:38 See, the days are coming, says the Lord, for the building of the Lord's town, from
the tower of Hananel to the doorway of the angle.
31:38 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the city shall be built
to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
31:39 측량줄이 곧게 가렙 산에 이르고 고아 방면으로 돌아
31:39 And the measuring-line will go out in front of it as far as the hill Gareb, going
round to Goah.
31:39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth opposite to it upon the hill
Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
31:40 시체와 재의 골짜기와 기드론 시내에 이르는 데까지와 동편 말문 모퉁이에
이르기까지의 모든 밭에 이르리니 다 여호와의 성지가 되고 영영히 다시는 뽑히거나
전복되지 아니하리라
31:40 And all the valley of the dead bodies, and all the field of death as far as the
stream Kidron, up to the angle of the horses' doorway to the east, will be holy
to the Lord; it will not again be uprooted or overturned for ever.
31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all
the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward
the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown
down any more for ever.
32:1 유다 왕 시드기야의 제 십 년 곧 느부갓네살의 제 십 팔 년에 여호와의 말씀이
예레미야에게 임하니라
32:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah, king
of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.
32:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah
king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.
32:2 때에 바벨론 군대는 예루살렘을 에워싸고 선지자 예레미야는 유다 왕의 궁중에
있는 시위대 뜰에 갇혔으니
32:2 Now at that time the king of Babylon's army was round Jerusalem, shutting it in:
and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, in the
house of the king of Judah.
32:2 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah
the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of
Judah's house.
32:3-5 이는 그가 예언하기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라 내가 이 성을 바벨론 왕의 손에
붙이리니 그가 취할 것이며 유다 왕 시드기야는 갈대아인의 손에서 벗어나지 못하고
반드시 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이운 바 되리니 입이 입을 대하여 말하고 눈이 서로 볼
것이며 그가 시드기야를 바벨론으로 끌어가리니 시드기야가 나의 권고할 때까지 거기
있으리라 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희가 갈대아인과 싸울지라도 승리치 못하리라 하셨다
하였더니 유다 왕 시드기야가 가로되 네가 어찌 이같이 예언하였느뇨 하고 그를 가두었음이었더라
32:3 For Zedekiah, king of Judah, had had him shut up, saying, Why have you, as a prophet,
been saying, The Lord has said, See, I will give this town into the hands of the
king of Babylon, and he will take it;
32:3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore do you
prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the
hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
32:4 And Zedekiah, king of Judah, will not get away from the hands of the Chaldaeans,
but will certainly be given up into the hands of the king of Babylon, and will have
talk with him, mouth to mouth, and see him, eye to eye.
32:4 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans,
but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall
speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes;
32:5 And he will take Zedekiah away to Babylon, where he will be till I have pity on
him, says the Lord: though you are fighting with the Chaldaeans, things will not
go well for you?
32:5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I
visit him, says the LORD: though all of you fight with the Chaldeans, all of
you shall not prosper.
32:6 ○ 예레미야가 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였느니라 이르시기를
32:6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
32:6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
32:7 보라 네 숙부 살룸의 아들 하나멜이 네게 와서 말하기를 너는 아나돗에 있는
내 밭을 사라 이 기업을 무를 권리가 네게 있느니라 하리라 하시더니
32:7 See, Hanamel, the son of Shallum, your father's brother, will come to you and say,
Give the price and get for yourself my property in Anathoth: for you have the right
of the nearest relation.
32:7 Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum yours uncle shall come unto you
saying, Buy you my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is
yours to buy it.
32:8 여호와의 말씀 같이 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜이 시위대 뜰 안 내게로 와서
이르되 청하노니 너는 베냐민 땅 아나돗에 있는 나의 밭을 사라 기업의 상속권이
네게 있고 무를 권리가 네게 있으니 너를 위하여 사라 하는지라 내가 이것이 여호와의
말씀인 줄 알았으므로
32:8 So Hanamel, the son of my father's brother, came to me, as the Lord had said, to
the place of the armed watchmen, and said to me, Give the price and get my property
which is in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: for you have the nearest relation's
right to the heritage; so get it for yourself. Then it was clear to me that this
was the word of the Lord.
32:8 So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according
to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray you, that is
in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance
is yours, and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that
this was the word of the LORD.
32:9 내 숙부의 아들 하나멜의 아나돗에 있는 밭을 사는데 은 십칠 세겔을 달아
주되
32:9 So I got for a price the property in Anathoth from Hanamel, the son of my father's
brother, and gave him the money, seventeen shekels of silver;
32:9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth,
and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
32:10 증서를 써서 인봉하고 증인을 세우고 은을 저울에 달아 주고
32:10 And I put it in writing, stamping it with my stamp, and I took witnesses and put
the money into the scales.
32:10 And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and
weighed him the money in the balances.
32:11 법과 규례대로 인봉하고 인봉치 아니한 매매 증서를 내가 취하여
32:11 So I took the paper witnessing the business, one copy rolled up and stamped, and
one copy open:
32:11 So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed
according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
32:12 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜과 매매 증서에 인친 증인의 앞과 시위대 뜰에
앉은 유다 모든 사람 앞에서 그 매매 증서를 마세야의 손자 네리야의 아들 바룩에게
부치며
32:12 And I gave the paper to Baruch, the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, before the
eyes of Hanamel, the son of my father's brother, and of the witnesses who had put
their names to the paper, and before all the Jews who were seated in the place of
the armed watchmen.
32:12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah,
the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence
of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews
that sat in the court of the prison.
32:13 그들의 앞에서 바룩에게 명하여 이르되
32:13 And I gave orders to Baruch in front of them, saying,
32:13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
32:14 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시기를 너는 이 증서
곧 인봉하고 인봉치 않은 매매 증서를 취하여 토기에 담아 많은 날 동안 보존케 하라
32:14 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Take these papers,
the witness of this business, the one which is rolled up and stamped, and the one
which is open; and put them in a vessel of earth so that they may be kept for a
long time.
32:14 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences,
this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which
is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
32:15 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 이같이 말하노라 사람이 이 땅에서
집과 밭과 포도원을 다시 사게 되리라 하셨다 하니라
32:15 For the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said, There will again be trading
in houses and fields and vine-gardens in this land.
32:15 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields
and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
32:16 ○ 내가 매매 증서를 네리야의 아들 바룩에게 부친 후에 여호와께 기도하여
가로되
32:16 Now after I had given the paper to Baruch, the son of Neriah, I made my prayer to
the Lord, saying,
32:16 Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the
son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,
32:17 슬프도소이다 주 여호와여 주께서 큰 능과 드신 팔로 천지를 지으셨사오니
주에게는 능치 못한 일이 없으시니이다
32:17 Ah Lord God! see, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and
by your outstretched arm, and there is nothing you are not able to do:
32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your
great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:
32:18 주는 은혜를 천만인에게 베푸시며 아비의 죄악을 그 후 자손의 품에 갚으시오니
크고 능하신 하나님이시요 이름은 만군의 여호와시니이다
32:18 You have mercy on thousands, and send punishment for the evil-doing of the fathers
on their children after them: the great, the strong God, the Lord of armies is his
name:
32:18 You show loving kindness unto thousands, and recompence the iniquity
of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty
God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,
32:19 주는 모략에 크시며 행사에 능하시며 인류의 모든 길에 주목하시며 그 길과
그 행위의 열매대로 보응하시나이다
32:19 Great in wisdom and strong in act: whose eyes are open on all the ways of the sons
of men, giving to everyone the reward of his ways and the fruit of his doings:
32:19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for yours eyes are open upon
all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and
according to the fruit of his doings:
32:20 주께서 애굽 땅에서 징조와 기사로 행하셨고 오늘까지도 이스라엘과 외인
중에 그 같이 행하사 주의 이름을 오늘과 같이 되게 하셨나이다
32:20 You have done signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and even to this day, in Israel
and among other men; and have made a name for yourself as at this day;
32:20 Which have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this
day, and in Israel, and among other men; and have made you a name, as at this
day;
32:21 주께서 징조와 기사와 강한 손과 드신 팔과 큰 두려움으로 주의 백성 이스라엘을
애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내시고
32:21 And have taken your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders
and with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, causing great fear;
32:21 And have brought forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt
with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out
arm, and with great terror;
32:22 그들에게 주시기로 그 열조에게 맹세하신 바 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 이 땅을 그들에게
주셨으므로
32:22 And have given them this land, which you gave your word to their fathers to give
them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
32:22 And have given them this land, which you did swear to their fathers
to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
32:23 그들이 들어가서 이를 차지하였거늘 주의 목소리를 청종치 아니하며 주의
도에 행치 아니하며 무릇 주께서 행하라 명하신 일을 행치 아니하였으므로 주께서
이 모든 재앙을 그들에게 내리셨나이다
32:23 And they came in and took it for their heritage, but they did not give ear to your
voice, and were not ruled by your law; they have done nothing of all you gave them
orders to do: so you have made all this evil come on them:
32:23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not your voice,
neither walked in your law; they have done nothing of all that you commandedst
them to do: therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them:
32:24 보옵소서 이 성을 취하려 하는 자가 와서 흉벽을 쌓았고 칼과 기근과 염병으로
인하여 이 성이 이를 치는 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었으니 주의 말씀대로 되었음을
주께서 보시나이다
32:24 See, they have made earthworks against the town to take it; and the town is given
into the hands of the Chaldaeans who are fighting against it, because of the sword
and need of food and disease: and what you have said has taken place, and truly
you see it.
32:24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the
city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because
of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what you have spoken
has come to pass; and, behold, you see it.
32:25 주 여호와여 주께서 내게 은으로 밭을 사며 증인을 세우라 하셨으나 이
성은 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었나이다
32:25 And you have said to me, Give the money to get yourself a property, and have the
business witnessed; though the town is given into the hands of the Chaldaeans.
32:25 And you have said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy you the field for money,
and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
32:26 ○ 때에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시되
32:26 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
32:26 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
32:27 나는 여호와요 모든 육체의 하나님이라 내게 능치 못한 일이 있겠느냐
32:27 See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything so hard that I am unable
to do it?
32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too
hard for me?
32:28 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 이 성을 갈대아인의 손과
바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 붙일 것인즉 그가 취할 것이라
32:28 So this is what the Lord has said: See, I am giving this town into the hands of
the Chaldaeans and into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, the king of Babylon, and he
will take it:
32:28 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the
hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon,
and he shall take it:
32:29 이 성을 치는 갈대아인이 와서 이 성읍에 불을 놓아 성과 집 곧 그 지붕에서
바알에게 분향하며 다른 신들에게 전제를 드려 나를 격노케 한 집들을 사르리니
32:29 And the Chaldaeans, who are fighting against this town, will come and put the town
on fire, burning it together with the houses, on the roofs of which perfumes have
been burned to the Baal, and drink offerings have been drained out to other gods,
moving me to wrath.
32:29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set
fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered
incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke
me to anger.
32:30 이는 이스라엘 자손과 유다 자손이 예로부터 내 목전에 악만 행하였음이라
이스라엘 자손은 그 손으로 만든 것을 가지고 나를 격노케 한 것 뿐이니라 나 여호와가
말하노라
32:30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done nothing but evil
in my eyes from their earliest years: the children of Israel have only made me angry
with the work of their hands, says the Lord.
32:30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done
evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked
me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.
32:31 이 성이 건설된 날부터 오늘까지 나의 노와 분을 격발하므로 내가 내 앞에서
그것을 옮기려 하노니
32:31 For this town has been to me a cause of wrath and of burning passion from the day
of its building till this day, so that I put it away from before my face:
32:31 For this city has been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of
my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove
it from before my face,
32:32 이는 이스라엘 자손과 유다 자손이 모든 악을 행하며 내 노를 격동하였음이라
그들과 그들의 왕들과 그 방백들과 그 제사장들과 그 선지자들과 유다 사람들과 예루살렘
거민들이 다 그러하였느니라
32:32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah,
which they have done to make me angry, they and their kings, their princes, their
priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem.
32:32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children
of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their
princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants
of Jerusalem.
32:33 그들이 등을 내게로 향하고 얼굴을 내게로 향치 아니하며 내가 그들을 가르치되
부지런히 가르칠지라도 그들이 교훈을 듣지 아니하며 받지 아니하고
32:33 And they have been turning their backs and not their faces to me: and though I was
their teacher, getting up early and teaching them, their ears were not open to teaching.
32:33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught
them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive
instruction.
32:34 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에 자기들의 가증한 물건들을 세워서 그 집을
더럽게 하며
32:34 But they put their disgusting images into the house which is named by my name, making
it unclean.
32:34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my
name, to defile it.
32:35 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기에 바알의 산당을 건축하였으며 자기들의 자녀를 몰렉의
불에 지나가게 하였느니라 그들이 이런 가증한 일을 행하여 유다로 범죄케 한 것은
나의 명한 것도 아니요 내 마음에 둔 것도 아니니라
32:35 And they put up the high places of the Baal in the valley of the son of Hinnom,
making their sons and their daughters go through the fire to Molech; which I did
not give them orders to do, and it never came into my mind that they would do this
disgusting thing, causing Judah to be turned out of the way.
32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of
the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the
fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind,
that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
32:36 ○ 그러나 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 너희의 말하는 바 칼과 기근과
염병으로 인하여 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙인 바 되었다 하는 이 성에 대하여 이같이 말하노라
32:36 And now the Lord, the God of Israel, has said of this town, about which you say,
It is given into the hands of the king of Babylon by the sword and by need of food
and by disease:
32:36 And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning
this city, whereof all of you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the
king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
32:37 보라 내가 노와 분과 큰 분노로 그들을 쫓아 보내었던 모든 지방에서 그들을
모아내어 이곳으로 다시 인도하여 안전히 거하게 할 것이라
32:37 See, I will get them together from all the countries where I have sent them in my
wrath and in the heat of my passion and in my bitter feeling; and I will let them
come back into this place where they may take their rest safely.
32:37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven
them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them
again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
32:38 그들은 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 그들의 하나님이 될 것이며
32:38 And they will be my people, and I will be their God:
32:38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
32:39 내가 그들에게 한 마음과 한 도를 주어 자기들과 자기 후손의 복을 위하여
항상 나를 경외하게 하고
32:39 And I will give them one heart and one way, so that they may go on in the worship
of me for ever, for their good and the good of their children after them:
32:39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me
for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
32:40 내가 그들에게 복을 주기 위하여 그들을 떠나지 아니하리라 하는 영영한
언약을 그들에게 세우고 나를 경외함을 그들의 마음에 두어 나를 떠나지 않게 하고
32:40 And I will make an eternal agreement with them, that I will never give them up,
but ever do them good; and I will put the fear of me in their hearts, so that they
will not go away from me.
32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not
turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts,
that they shall not depart from me.
32:41 내가 기쁨으로 그들에게 복을 주되 정녕히 나의 마음과 정신을 다하여 그들을
이 땅에 심으리라
32:41 And truly, I will take pleasure in doing them good, and all my heart and soul will
be given to planting them in this land in good faith.
32:41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them
in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
32:42 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 이 백성에게 이 큰 재앙을 내린 것 같이
허락한 모든 복을 그들에게 내리리라
32:42 For the Lord has said: As I have made all this great evil come on this people, so
I will send on them all the good which I said about them.
32:42 For thus says the LORD; Like I have brought all this great evil upon
this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.
32:43 너희가 말하기를 황폐하여 사람이나 짐승이 없으며 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바
되었다 하는 이 땅에서 사람들이 밭을 사되
32:43 And there will be trading in fields in this land of which you say, It is a waste,
without man or beast; it is given into the hands of the Chaldaeans.
32:43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof all of you say, It
is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
32:44 베냐민 땅과 예루살렘 사방과 유다 성읍들과 산지의 성읍들과 평지의 성읍들과
남방의 성읍들에 있는 밭을 은으로 사고 증서를 기록하여 인봉하고 증인을 세우리니
이는 내가 그들의 포로로 돌아오게 함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
32:44 Men will get fields for money, and put the business in writing, stamping the papers
and having them witnessed, in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem
and in the towns of Judah and in the towns of the hill-country and in the towns
of the lowland and in the towns of the South: for I will let their fate be changed,
says the Lord.
32:44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them,
and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem,
and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities
of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity
to return, says the LORD.
33:1 예레미야가 아직 시위대 뜰에 갇혔을 때에 여호와의 말씀이 그에게 다시
임하니라 가라사대
33:1 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still shut
up in the place of the armed watchmen, saying,
33:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while
he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
33:2 일을 행하는 여호와, 그것을 지어 성취하는 여호와, 그 이름을 여호와라
하는 자가 이같이 이르노라
33:2 These are the words of the Lord, who is doing it, the Lord who is forming it, to
make it certain; the Lord is his name;
33:2 Thus says the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish
it; the LORD is his name;
33:3 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 비밀한
일을 네게 보이리라
33:3 Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things
and secret things of which you had no knowledge.
33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things,
which you know not.
33:4 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와가 말하노라 무리가 이 성읍의 가옥과 유다 왕궁을
헐어서 갈대아인의 흉벽과 칼을 막아
33:4 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said about the houses of this
town and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been broken down to make earthworks
and ...;
33:4 For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of
this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown
down by the mounts, and by the sword;
33:5 싸우려 하였으나 내가 나의 노와 분함으로 그들을 죽이고 그 시체로 이 성에
채우게 하였나니 이는 그들의 모든 악을 인하여 나의 얼굴을 가리워 이 성을 돌아보지
아니하였음이니라
33:5 ... and to make them full of the dead bodies of men whom I have put to death in
my wrath and in my passion, and because of whose evil-doing I have kept my face
covered from this town.
33:5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the
dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for
all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
33:6 그러나 보라 내가 이 성을 치료하며 고쳐 낫게 하고 평강과 성실함에 풍성함을 그들에게 나타낼 것이며
33:6 See, I will make it healthy and well again, I will even make them well; I will let
them see peace and good faith in full measure.
33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will
reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
33:7 내가 유다의 포로와 이스라엘의 포로를 돌아오게 하여 그들을 처음과 같이
세울 것이며
33:7 And I will let the fate of Judah and of Israel be changed, building them up as at
first.
33:7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel
to return, and will build them, as at the first.
33:8 내가 그들을 내게 범한 그 모든 죄악에서 정하게 하며 그들의 내게 범하여
행한 모든 죄악을 사할 것이라
33:8 And I will make them clean from all their sin, with which they have been sinning
against me; I will have forgiveness for all their sins, with which they have been
sinning against me, and with which they have done evil against me.
33:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned
against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned,
and whereby they have transgressed against me.
33:9 이 성읍이 세계 열방 앞에서 내게 기쁜 이름이 될 것이며 찬송과 영광이
될 것이요 그들은 나의 이 백성에게 베푼 모든 복을 들을 것이요 나의 이 성읍에
베푼 모든 복과 모든 평강을 인하여 두려워하며 떨리라
33:9 And this town will be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and a glory before all
the nations of the earth, who, hearing of all the good which I am doing for them,
will be shaking with fear because of all the good and the peace which I am doing
for it.
33:9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all
the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them:
and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity
that I procure unto it.
33:10-11 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 가리켜 말하기를 황폐하여 사람도
없고 짐승도 없다 하던 여기 곧 황폐하여 사람도 없고 주민도 없고 짐승도 없던 유다
성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에서 즐거워하는 소리, 기뻐하는 소리, 신랑의 소리, 신부의
소리와 및 만군의 여호와께 감사하라, 여호와는 선하시니 그 인자하심이 영원하다
하는 소리와 여호와의 집에 감사제를 드리는 자들의 소리가 다시 들리리니 이는 내가
이 땅의 포로로 돌아와서 처음과 같이 되게 할 것임이니라 여호와의 말이니라
33:10 This is what the Lord has said: There will again be sounding in this place, of which
you say, It is a waste, without man and without beast; even in the towns of Judah
and in the streets of Jerusalem which are waste and unpeopled, without man and without
beast,
33:10 Thus says the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which
all of you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the
cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without
man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
33:11 Happy sounds, the voice of joy, the voice of the newly-married man and the voice
of the bride, the voices of those who say, Give praise to the Lord of armies, for
the Lord is good, for his mercy is unchanging for ever: the voices of those who
go with praise into the house of the Lord. For I will let the land come back to
its first condition, says the Lord.
33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD
of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endures for ever: and of them
that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will
cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the LORD.
33:12 ○ 나 만군의 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 황폐하여 사람도 없고
짐승도 없던 이곳과 그 모든 성읍에 다시 목자의 거할 곳이 있으리니 그 양 무리를
눕게 할 것이라
33:12 This is what the Lord of armies has said: Again there will be in this place, which
is a waste, without man and without beast, and in all its towns, a resting-place
where the keepers of sheep will make their flocks take rest.
33:12 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate
without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation
of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
33:13 산지 성읍들과 평지 성읍들과 남방의 성읍들과 베냐민 땅과 예루살렘 사면과
유다 성읍들에서 양 무리가 다시 계수하는 자의 손 아래로 지나리라 여호와의 말이니라
33:13 In the towns of the hill-country, in the towns of the lowland, and in the towns
of the South and in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem and
in the towns of Judah, the flocks will again go under the hand of him who is numbering
them, says the Lord.
33:13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the
cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem,
and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him
that tells them, says the LORD.
33:14 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 이스라엘 집과 유다 집에 대하여 이른
선한 말을 성취할 날이 이르리라
33:14 See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will give effect to the good word
which I have said about the people of Israel and the people of Judah.
33:14 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will perform that good
thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
33:15 그 날 그 때에 내가 다윗에게 한 의로운 가지가 나게 하리니 그가 이 땅에
공평과 정의를 실행할 것이라
33:15 In those days and at that time, I will let a Branch of righteousness come up for
David; and he will be a judge in righteousness in the land.
33:15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness
to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the
land.
33:16 그 날에 유다가 구원을 얻겠고 예루살렘이 안전히 거할 것이며 그 성은
여호와 우리의 의라 일컬음을 입으리라
33:16 In those days, Judah will have salvation and Jerusalem will be safe: and this is
the name which will be given to her: The Lord is our righteousness.
33:16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely:
and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
33:17 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 이스라엘 집 위에 앉을 사람이 다윗에게 영영히
끊어지지 아니할 것이며
33:17 For the Lord has said, David will never be without a man to take his place on the
seat of the kingdom of Israel;
33:17 For thus says the LORD; David shall never lack a man to sit upon the
throne of the house of Israel;
33:18 내 앞에서 번제를 드리며 소제를 사르며 다른 제를 항상 드릴 레위 사람
제사장들도 끊어지지 아니하리라 하시니라
33:18 And the priests and the Levites will never be without a man to come before me, offering
burned offerings and perfumes and meal offerings and offerings of beasts at all
times.
33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites lack a man before me to offer
burnt offerings, and to kindle food offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
33:19 ○ 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
33:19 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
33:20 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 능히 낮에 대한 나의 약정과 밤에
대한 나의 약정을 파하여 주야로 그 때를 잃게 할 수 있을진대
33:20 The Lord has said: If it is possible for my agreement of the day and the night to
be broken, so that day and night no longer come at their fixed times,
33:20 Thus says the LORD; If all of you can break my covenant of the day,
and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in
their season;
33:21 내 종 다윗에게 세운 나의 언약도 파하여 그로 그 위에 앉아 다스릴 아들이
없게 할 수 있겠으며 내가 나를 섬기는 레위인 제사장에게 세운 언약도 파할 수 있으리라
33:21 Then my agreement with my servant David may be broken, so that he no longer has
a son to take his place on the seat of the kingdom; and my agreement with the Levites,
the priests, my servants.
33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he
should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests,
my ministers.
33:22 하늘의 만상은 셀 수 없으며 바다의 모래는 측량할 수 없나니 내가 그와 같이
내 종 다윗의 자손과 나를 섬기는 레위인을 번성케 하리라 하시니라
33:22 As it is not possible for the army of heaven to be numbered, or the sand of the
sea measured, so will I make the seed of my servant David, and the Levites my servants.
33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea
measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that
minister unto me.
33:23 ○ 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
33:23 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:24 이 백성이 말하기를 여호와께서 그 택하신 두 족속을 버리셨다 한 것을
네가 생각지 아니하느냐 그들이 내 백성을 멸시하여 자기들 앞에서 나라로 인정치
아니하도다
33:24 Have you taken note of what these people have said, The two families, which the
Lord took for himself, he has given up? This they say, looking down on my people
as being, in their eyes, no longer a nation.
33:24 Consider you not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families
which the LORD has chosen, he has even cast them off? thus they have despised
my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
33:25 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 나의 주야의 약정이 서지 아니할 수 있다든지
천지의 규례가 정한 대로 되지 아니할 수 있다 할진대
33:25 The Lord has said, If I have not made day and night, and if the limits of heaven
and earth have not been fixed by me,
33:25 Thus says the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if
I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
33:26 내가 야곱과 내 종 다윗의 자손을 버려서 다시는 다윗의 자손 중에서 아브라함과
이삭과 야곱의 자손을 다스릴 자를 택하지 아니하리라 내가 그 포로된 자로 돌아오게
하고
그를 긍휼이 여기리라
33:26 Then I will give up caring for the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that
I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob:
for I will let their fate be changed and will have mercy on them.
33:26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that
I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
34:1 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살과 그 모든 군대와 그 통치하에 있는 땅의 모든 나라와
모든 백성이 예루살렘과 그 모든 성읍을 칠 때에 말씀이 여호와께로서 예레미야에게
임하니라 가라사대
34:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon,
and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth which were under his rule, and
all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and all its towns, saying,
34:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar
king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his
dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the
cities thereof, saying,
34:2 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너는 가서 유다 왕 시드기야에게
고하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라 내가 이 성을 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이리니 그가
이 성을 불사를 것이라
34:2 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Go and say to Zedekiah, king of Judah, This
is what the Lord has said: See, I will give this town into the hands of the king
of Babylon, and he will have it burned with fire:
34:2 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king
of Judah, and tell him, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into
the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
34:3 네가 그 손에서 벗어나지 못하고 반드시 사로잡혀 그 손에 붙임을 입고 네
눈은 바벨론 왕의 눈을 볼 것이며 그 입은 네 입을 마주 대하여 말할 것이요 너는
바벨론으로 가리라
34:3 And you will not get away from him, but will certainly be taken and given up into
his hands; and you will see the king of Babylon, eye to eye, and he will have talk
with you, mouth to mouth, and you will go to Babylon.
34:3 And you shall not escape out of his hand, but shall surely be taken,
and delivered into his hand; and yours eyes shall behold the eyes of the king
of Babylon, and he shall speak with you mouth to mouth, and you shall go to
Babylon.
34:4 그러나 유다 왕 시드기야여 나 여호와의 말을 들으라 나 여호와가 네게 대하여
이같이 말하노라 네가 칼에 죽지 아니하고
34:4 But give ear to the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah, king of Judah; this is what the
Lord has said about you: Death will not come to you by the sword:
34:4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus says the
LORD of you, You shall not die by the sword:
34:5 평안히 죽을 것이며 사람이 너보다 먼저 있은 네 열조 선왕에게 분향하던
일례로 네게 분향하며 너를 위하여 애통하기를 슬프다 주여 하리니 이는 내가 말하였음이니라
여호와의 말이니라
34:5 You will come to your end in peace; and such burnings as they made for your fathers,
the earlier kings before you, will be made for you; and they will be weeping for
you and saying, Ah lord! for I have said the word, says the Lord.
34:5 But you shall die in peace: and with the burnings of your fathers, the
former kings which were before you, so shall they burn odours for you; and they
will lament you, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, says the LORD.
34:6 ○ 선지자 예레미야가 이 모든 말씀을 예루살렘에서 유다 왕 시드기야에게
고하니라
34:6 Then Jeremiah the prophet said all these things to Zedekiah, king of Judah, in Jerusalem,
34:6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words unto Zedekiah king of
Judah in Jerusalem,
34:7 때에 바벨론 왕의 군대가 예루살렘과 유다의 남은 모든 성을 쳤으니 곧 라기스와
아세가라 유다의 견고한 성읍 중에 이것들만 남았음이더라
34:7 When the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and against
all the towns of Judah which had not been taken, against Lachish and against Azekah;
for these were the last of the walled towns of Judah.
34:7 When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against
all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah:
for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
34:8 ○ 시드기야 왕이 예루살렘에 있는 모든 백성과 언약하고 자유를 선언한 후에
여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라
34:8 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, after King Zedekiah had made an agreement
with all the people in Jerusalem, to give news in public that servants were to be
made free;
34:8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the
king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem,
to proclaim liberty unto them;
34:9 그 언약은 곧 사람으로 각기 히브리 남녀 노비를 놓아 자유케 하고 그 동족
유다인으로 종을 삼지 못하게 한 것이라
34:9 That every man was to let his Hebrew man-servant and his Hebrew servant-girl go
free; so that no one might make use of a Jew, his countryman, as a servant:
34:9 That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant,
being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of
them, to know, of a Jew his brother.
34:10 이 언약에 참가한 방백들과 모든 백성이 각기 노비를 자유케 하고 다시는
종을 삼지 말라 함을 듣고 순복하여 놓았더니
34:10 And this was done by all the rulers and the people who had taken part in the agreement,
and every one let his man-servant and his servant-girl go free, not to be used as
servants any longer; they did so, and let them go.
34:10 Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into
the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one
his maidservant, go free, that none should make use of them any more, then they
obeyed, and let them go.
34:11 후에 그들의 뜻이 변하여 자유케 하였던 노비를 끌어다가 다시 복종시켜
노비를 삼았더라
34:11 But later, they took back again the servants and the servant-girls whom they had
let go free, and put them again under the yoke as servants and servant-girls.
34:11 But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids,
whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants
and for handmaids.
34:12 ○ 그러므로 여호와의 말씀이 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
34:12 For this reason the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
34:12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
34:13 이스라엘 하나님 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 너희 선조를 애굽 땅
종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낼 때에 그들과 언약을 세워 이르기를
34:13 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, I made an agreement with your fathers on
the day when I took them out of Egypt, out of the prison-house, saying,
34:13 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your
fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of
the house of bondmen, saying,
34:14 너희 형제 히브리 사람이 네게 팔렸거든 칠 년 만에 너희는 각기 놓으라 그가
육 년을 너를 섬겼은즉 그를 놓아 자유케 할지니라 하였으나 너희 선조가 나를 듣지
아니하며 귀를 기울이지도 아니하였느니라
34:14 At the end of seven years every man is to let go his countryman who is a Hebrew,
who has become yours for a price and has been your servant for six years; you are
to let him go free: but your fathers gave no attention and did not give ear.
34:14 At the end of seven years let all of you go every man his brother an
Hebrew, which has been sold unto you; and when he has served you six years,
you shall let him go free from you: but your fathers hearkened not unto me,
neither inclined their ear.
34:15 그러나 너희는 이제 돌이켜 내 목전에 정당히 행하여 각기 이웃에게 자유를
선언하되 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에서 내 앞에서 언약을 세웠거늘
34:15 And now, turning away from evil, you had done what is right in my eyes, giving a
public undertaking for every man to make his neighbour free; and you had made an
agreement before me in the house which is named by my name:
34:15 And all of you were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in
proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and all of you had made a covenant
before me in the house which is called by my name:
34:16 너희가 뜻을 변하여 내 이름을 더럽히고 각기 놓아 그들의 마음대로 자유케
하였던 노비를 끌어다가 다시 너희에게 복종시켜서 너희 노비를 삼았도다
34:16 But again you have put shame on my name, and you have taken back, every one his
man-servant and his servant-girl, whom you had sent away free, and you have put
them under the yoke again to be your servants and servant-girls.
34:16 But all of you turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his
servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure,
to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and
for handmaids.
34:17 ○ 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 나를 듣지 아니하고 각기
형제와 이웃에게 자유를 선언한 것을 실행치 아니하였은즉 내가 너희에게 자유를
선언하여 너희를 칼과 염병과 기근에 붙이리라 나 여호와의 말이니라 내가 너희를
세계 열방 중에 흩어지게 할 것이며
34:17 And so the Lord has said, You have not given ear to me and undertaken publicly,
every man to let loose his countryman and his neighbour: see, I undertake to let
loose against you the sword and disease and need of food; and I will send you wandering
among all the kingdoms of the earth.
34:17 Therefore thus says the LORD; All of you have not hearkened unto me,
in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour:
behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, says the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence,
and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of
the earth.
34:18 송아지를 둘에 쪼개고 그 두 사이로 지나서 내 앞에 언약을 세우고 그 말을
실행치 아니하여 내 언약을 범한 너희를
34:18 And I will give the men who have gone against my agreement and have not given effect
to the words of the agreement which they made before me, when the ox was cut in
two and they went between the parts of it,
34:18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have
not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when
they cut the calf in two, and passed between the parts thereof,
34:19 곧 쪼갠 송아지 사이로 지난 유다 방백들과 예루살렘 방백들과 환관들과
제사장들과 이 땅 모든 백성을
34:19 The rulers of Judah and the rulers of Jerusalem, the unsexed servants and the priests
and all the people of the land who went between the parts of the ox,
34:19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and
the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts
of the calf;
34:20 내가 너희 원수의 손과 너희 생명을 찾는 자의 손에 붙이리니 너희 시체가
공중의 새들과 땅 짐승의 식물이 될 것이며
34:20 Even these I will give up into the hands of their haters and into the hands of those
who have designs against their lives: and their dead bodies will become food for
the birds of heaven and the beasts of the earth.
34:20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the
hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for food unto
the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
34:21 또 내가 유다 왕 시드기야와 그 방백들을 그 원수의 손과 그 생명을 찾는
자의 손과 너희에게서 떠나간 바벨론 왕의 군대의 손에 붙이리라
34:21 And Zedekiah, king of Judah, and his rulers I will give into the hands of their
haters and into the hands of those who have designs against their lives, and into
the hands of the king of Babylon's army which has gone away from you.
34:21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand
of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the
hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.
34:22 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 그들에게 명하여 이 성에 다시 오게 하리니
그들이 이 성을 쳐서 취하여 불사를 것이라 내가 유다 성읍들로 황무하여 거민이
없게 하리라
34:22 See, I will give orders, says the Lord, and make them come back to this town; and
they will make war on it and take it and have it burned with fire: and I will make
the towns of Judah waste and unpeopled.
34:22 Behold, I will command, says the LORD, and cause them to return to
this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire:
and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
35:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김 때에 여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게
임하니라 가라사대
35:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, in the days of Jehoiakim, the son
of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,
35:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim
the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
35:2 너는 레갑 족속에게 가서 그들에게 말하고 그들을 여호와의 집 한 방으로
데려다가 포도주를 마시우라
35:2 Go into the house of the Rechabites, and have talk with them, and take them into
the house of the Lord, into one of the rooms, and give them wine.
35:2 Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring
them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine
to drink.
35:3 이에 내가 하바시냐의 손자요 예레미야의 아들인 야아사냐와 그 형제와 그
모든 아들과 레갑 온 족속을 데리고
35:3 Then I took Jaazaniah, the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers
and all his sons and all the Rechabites;
35:3 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and
his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;
35:4 여호와의 집에 이르러 익다랴의 아들 하나님의 사람 하난의 아들들의 방에
들였는데 그 방은 방백들의 방 곁이요 문을 지키는 살룸의 아들 마아세야의 방 위더라
35:4 And I took them into the house of the Lord, into the room of the sons of Hanan,
the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was near the rulers' room, which was
over the room of Maaseiah, the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door;
35:4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the
sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of
the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the
keeper of the door:
35:5 내가 레갑 족속 사람들 앞에 포도주가 가득한 사발과 잔을 놓고 마시라 권하매
35:5 And I put before the sons of the Rechabites basins full of wine and cups, and I
said to them, Take some wine.
35:5 And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of
wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink all of you wine.
35:6 그들이 가로되 우리는 포도주를 마시지 아니하겠노라 레갑의 아들 우리 선조
요나답이 우리에게 명하여 이르기를 너희와 너희 자손은 영영히 포도주를 마시지
말며
35:6 But they said, We will take no wine: for Jonadab, the son of Rechab our father,
gave us orders, saying, You are to take no wine, you or your sons, for ever:
35:6 But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab
our father commanded us, saying, All of you shall drink no wine, neither all
of you, nor your sons for ever:
35:7 집도 짓지 말며 파종도 하지 말며 포도원도 재배치 말며 두지도 말고 너희
평생에 장막에 거처하라 그리하면 너희의 우거하는 땅에서 너희 생명이 길리라 하였으므로
35:7 And you are to make no houses, or put in seed, or get vine-gardens planted, or have
any: but all your days you are to go on living in tents, so that you may have a
long life in the land where you are living as in a strange country.
35:7 Neither shall all of you build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard,
nor have any: but all your days all of you shall dwell in tents; that all of
you may live many days in the land where all of you be strangers.
35:8 우리가 레갑의 아들 우리 선조 요나답의 우리에게 명한 모든 말을 순종하여
우리와 우리 아내와 자녀가 평생에 포도주를 마시지 아니하며
35:8 And we have kept the rules of Jonadab, the son of Rechab our father, in everything
which he gave us orders to do, drinking no wine all our days, we and our wives and
our sons and our daughters;
35:8 Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father
in all that he has charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives,
our sons, nor our daughters;
35:9 거처할 집도 짓지 아니하며 포도원이나 밭이나 종자도 두지 아니하고
35:9 Building no houses for ourselves, having no vine-gardens or fields or seed:
35:9 Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor
field, nor seed:
35:10 장막에 거처하여 우리 선조 요나답의 우리에게 명한 대로 다 준행하였노라
35:10 But we have been living in tents, and have done everything which Jonadab our father
gave us orders to do.
35:10 But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to
all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
35:11 그러나 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 이 땅에 올라왔을 때에 우리가 말하기를
갈대아인의 군대와 수리아인의 군대가 두려운즉 예루살렘으로 가자 하고 우리가 예루살렘에
거하였노라
35:11 But when Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came up into the land, we said, Come,
let us go to Jerusalem, away from the army of the Chaldaeans and from the army of
the Aramaeans: and so we are living in Jerusalem.
35:11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into
the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army
of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.
35:12 ○ 때에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 가라사대
35:12 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
35:12 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
35:13 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 너는 가서 유다 사람들과
예루살렘 거민에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 너희가 내 말을 들으며 교훈을 받지
아니하겠느냐
35:13 This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: Go and say to the
men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem, Is there no hope of teaching you to give
ear to my words? says the Lord.
35:13 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men
of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will all of you not receive instruction
to hearken to my words? says the LORD.
35:14 레갑의 아들 요나답이 그 자손에게 포도주를 마시지 말라 한 그 명령은
실행되도다 그들은 그 선조의 명령을 순종하여 오늘까지 마시지 아니하거늘 내가
너희에게 말하고 부지런히 말하여도 너희는 나를 듣지 아니하도다
35:14 The orders which Jonadab, the son of Rechab, gave to his sons to take no wine, are
done, and to this day they take no wine, for they do the orders of their father:
but I have sent my words to you, getting up early and sending them, and you have
not given ear to me.
35:14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons
not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey
their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early
and speaking; but all of you hearkened not unto me.
35:15 나도 내 종 모든 선지자를 너희에게 보내고 부지런히 보내며 이르기를 너희는
이제 각기 악한 길에서 돌이켜 행위를 고치고 다른 신을 좇아 그를 섬기지 말라 그리하면
너희가 나의 너희와 너희 선조에게 준 이 땅에 거하리라 하여도 너희가 귀를 기울이지
아니하며 나를 듣지 아니하였느니라
35:15 And I have sent you all my servants the prophets, getting up early and sending them,
saying, Come back, now, every man from his evil way, and do better, and go not after
other gods to become their servants, and you will go on living in the land which
I have given to you and to your fathers: but your ears have not been open, and you
have not given attention to me.
35:15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early
and sending them, saying, Return all of you now every man from his evil way,
and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and all of
you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but
all of you have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
35:16 레갑의 아들 요나답의 자손은 그 선조가 그들에게 명한 그 명령을 준행하나
이 백성은 나를 듣지 아니하도다
35:16 Though the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have done the orders of their father
which he gave them, this people has not given ear to me:
35:16 Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment
of their father, which he commanded them; but this people has not hearkened
unto me:
35:17 그러므로 나 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 보라
내가 유다와 예루살렘 모든 거민에게 나의 그들에게 대하여 선포한 모든 재앙을 내리리니
이는 내가 그들에게 말하여도 듣지 아니하며 불러도 대답지 아니함이니라 하셨다
하라
35:17 For this reason the Lord, the God of armies, the God of Israel, has said, See, I
will send on Judah and on all the people of Jerusalem all the evil which I said
I would do to them: because I sent my words to them, but they did not give ear;
crying out to them, but they gave no answer.
35:17 Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold,
I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil
that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they
have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
35:18 ○ 예레미야가 레갑 족속에게 이르되 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이
이같이 말씀하시기를 너희가 너희 선조 요나답의 명령을 준종하여 그 모든 훈계를
지키며 그가 너희에게 명한 것을 행하였도다
35:18 But to the Rechabites Jeremiah said, This is what the Lord of armies, the God of
Israel, has said: Because you have done the orders of Jonadab your father, and have
kept his rules, and done everything as he gave you orders to do it;
35:18 And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus says the LORD
of hosts, the God of Israel; Because all of you have obeyed the commandment
of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all
that he has commanded you:
35:19 그러므로 나 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 레갑의
아들 요나답에게서 내 앞에 설 사람이 영영히 끊어지지 아니하리라
35:19 For this reason the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said, Jonadab, the son
of Rechab, will never be without a man to take his place before me.
35:19 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the
son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before me for ever.
36:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김 사 년에 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 말씀이
임하니라 가라사대
36:1 Now it came about in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah,
that this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
36:1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah
king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
36:2 너는 두루마리 책을 취하여 내가 네게 말하던 날 곧 요시야의 날부터 오늘까지
이스라엘과 유다와 열방에 대하여 나의 네게 이른 모든 말을 그것에 기록하라
36:2 Take a book and put down in it all the words I have said to you against Israel and
against Judah and against all the nations, from the day when my word came to you
in the days of Josiah till this day.
36:2 Take you a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have
spoken unto you against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations,
from the day I spoke unto you, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
36:3 유다 족속이 내가 그들에게 내리려 한 모든 재앙을 듣고 각기 악한 길에서
돌이킬듯 하니라 그리하면 내가 그 악과 죄를 사하리라
36:3 It may be that the people of Judah, hearing of all the evil which it is my purpose
to do to them, will be turned, every man from his evil ways; so that they may have
my forgiveness for their evil-doing and their sin.
36:3 It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose
to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may
forgive their iniquity and their sin.
36:4 ○ 이에 예레미야가 네리야의 아들 바룩을 부르매 바룩이 예레미야의 구전대로
여호와께서 그에게 이르신 모든 말씀을 두루마리 책에 기록하니라
36:4 Then Jeremiah sent for Baruch, the son of Neriah; and Baruch took down from the
mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord which he had said to him, writing them
in a book.
36:4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from
the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him,
upon a roll of a book.
36:5 예레미야가 바룩을 명하여 가로되 나는 감금을 당한지라 여호와의 집에 들어갈
수 없은즉
36:5 And Jeremiah gave orders to Baruch, saying, I am shut up, and am not able to go
into the house of the Lord:
36:5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into
the house of the LORD:
36:6 너는 들어가서 나의 구전대로 두루마리에 기록한 여호와의 말씀을 금식일에
여호와의 집에 있는 백성의 귀에 낭독하고 유다 모든 성에서 온 자들의 귀에도 낭독하라
36:6 So you are to go, reading there from the book, which you have taken down from my
mouth, the words of the Lord, in the hearing of the people in the Lord's house,
on a day when they go without food, and in the hearing of all the men of Judah who
have come out from their towns.
36:6 Therefore go you, and read in the roll, which you have written from
my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house
upon the fasting day: and also you shall read them in the ears of all Judah
that come out of their cities.
36:7 그들이 여호와 앞에 기도를 드리며 각기 악한 길을 떠날듯 하니라 여호와께서
이 백성에 대하여 선포하신 노와 분이 크니라
36:7 It may be that their prayer for grace will go up to the Lord, and that every man
will be turned from his evil ways: for great is the wrath and the passion made clear
by the Lord against this people.
36:7 It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and
will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury
that the LORD has pronounced against this people.
36:8 네리야의 아들 바룩이 무릇 선지자 예레미야의 자기에게 명한 대로 하여 여호와의
집에서 책에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 낭독하니라
36:8 And Baruch, the son of Neriah, did as Jeremiah the prophet gave him orders to do,
reading from the book the words of the Lord in the Lord's house.
36:8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the
prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD's
house.
36:9 ○ 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 오 년 구 월에 예루살렘 모든 백성과
유다 성읍들에서 예루살렘에 이른 모든 백성이 여호와 앞에서 금식을 선포한지라
36:9 Now it came about in the fifth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah,
in the ninth month, that it was given out publicly that all the people in Jerusalem,
and all the people who came from the towns of Judah to Jerusalem, were to keep from
food before the Lord.
36:9 And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah
king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD
to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities
of Judah unto Jerusalem.
36:10 바룩이 여호와의 집 윗뜰 곧 여호와의 집 새 문 어귀의 곁에 있는 사반의
아들 서기관 그마랴의 방에서 그 책에 있는 예레미야의 말을 낭독하여 모든 백성에게
들리니라
36:10 Then Baruch gave a public reading of the words of Jeremiah from the book, in the
house of the Lord, in the room of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the
higher square, as one goes in by the new doorway of the Lord's house, in the hearing
of all the people.
36:10 Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of
the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher
court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house, in the ears of all
the people.
36:11 ○ 사반의 손자요 그마랴의 아들인 미가야가 그 책에 있는 여호와의 말씀을
다 듣고
36:11 And Micaiah, the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, after hearing all the words
of the Lord from the book,
36:11 When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out
of the book all the words of the LORD,
36:12 왕궁에 내려가서 서기관의 방에 들어가니 모든 방백 곧 서기관 엘리사마와
스마야의 아들 들라야와 악볼의 아들 엘라단과 사반의 아들 그마랴와 하나냐의 아들
시드기야와 모든 방백이 거기 앉았는지라
36:12 Went down to the king's house, to the scribe's room: and all the rulers were seated
there, Elishama the scribe and Delaiah, the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan, the son
of Achbor, and Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah, the son of Hananiah,
and all the rulers.
36:12 Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber:
and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the
son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan,
and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
36:13 미가야가 바룩의 백성의 귀에 책을 낭독할 때에 들은 모든 말로 그들에게
고하매
36:13 Then Micaiah gave them an account of all the words which had come to his ears when
Baruch was reading the book to the people.
36:13 Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when
Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
36:14 이에 모든 방백이 구시의 증손 셀레먀의 손자 느다냐의 아들 여후디를 바룩에게
보내어 이르되 너는 백성의 귀에 낭독한 두루마리를 손에 가지고 오라 네리야의 아들
바룩이 두루마리를 손에 가지고 그들에게로 가매
36:14 So all the rulers sent Jehudi, the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son
of Cushi, to Baruch, saying, Take in your hand the book from which you have been
reading to the people and come. So Baruch, the son of Neriah, took the book in his
hand and came down to them.
36:14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son
of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in yours hand the
roll wherein you have read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the
son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
36:15 그들이 바룩에게 이르되 앉아서 이를 우리 귀에 낭독하라 바룩이 그들의
귀에 낭독하매
36:15 Then they said to him, Be seated now, and give us a reading from it. So Baruch did
so, reading it to them.
36:15 And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch
read it in their ears.
36:16 그들이 그 모든 말씀을 듣고 놀라 서로 보며 바룩에게 이르되 우리가 이
모든 말을 왕에게 고하리라
36:16 Now it came about that, after hearing all the words, they said to one another in
fear, We will certainly give the king an account of all these words.
36:16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid
both one and the other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of
all these words.
36:17 그들이 또 바룩에게 물어 가로되 네가 그 구전하는 이 모든 말을 어떻게
기록하였느뇨 청컨대 우리에게 이르라
36:17 And questioning Baruch, they said, Say now, how did you put all these words down
in writing from his mouth?
36:17 And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How did you write all these
words at his mouth?
36:18 바룩이 대답하되 그가 그 입으로 이 모든 말을 내게 베풀기로 내가 먹으로
책에 기록하였노라
36:18 Then Baruch, answering, said, He said all these things to me by word of mouth, and
I put them down with ink in the book.
36:18 Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with
his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.
36:19 이에 방백들이 바룩에게 이르되 너는 가서 예레미야와 함께 숨고 너희 있는
곳을 사람에게 알리지 말라 하니라
36:19 Then the rulers said to Baruch, Go and put yourself in a safe place, you and Jeremiah,
and let no man have knowledge of where you are.
36:19 Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide you, you and Jeremiah;
and let no man know where all of you be.
36:20 ○ 그들이 두루마리를 서기관 엘리사마의 방에 두고 뜰에 들어가 왕께 나아가서
이 모든 말로 왕의 귀에 고하니
36:20 Then they went into the open square to the king; but the book they put away in the
room of Elishama the scribe; and they gave the king an account of all the words.
36:20 And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll
in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of
the king.
36:21 왕이 여후디를 보내어 두루마리를 가져오게 하매 여후디가 서기관 엘리사마의
방에서 가져다가 왕과 왕의 곁에 선 모든 방백의 귀에 낭독하니
36:21 So the king sent Jehudi to get the book, and he took it from the room of Elishama
the scribe. And Jehudi gave a reading of it in the hearing of the king and all the
rulers who were by the king's side.
36:21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama
the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the
ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.
36:22 때는 구 월이라 왕이 겨울 궁전에 앉았고 그 앞에는 불 피운 화로가 있더라
36:22 Now the king was seated in the winter house, and a fire was burning in the fireplace
in front of him.
36:22 Now the king sat in the winter-house in the ninth month: and there
was a fire on the hearth burning before him.
36:23 여후디가 삼 편, 사 편을 낭독하면 왕이 소도로 그것을 연하여 베어 화로 불에
던져서 온 두루마리를 태웠더라
36:23 And it came about that whenever Jehudi, in his reading, had got through three or
four divisions, the king, cutting them with his penknife, put them into the fire,
till all the book was burned up in the fire which was burning in the fireplace.
36:23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves,
he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth,
until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
36:24 왕과 그 신하들이 이 모든 말을 듣고도 두려워하거나 그 옷을 찢지 아니하였고
36:24 But they had no fear and gave no signs of grief, not the king or any of his servants,
after hearing all these words.
36:24 Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king,
nor any of his servants that heard all these words.
36:25 엘라단과 들라야와 그마랴가 왕께 두루마리를 사르지 말기를 간구하여도
왕이 듣지 아니하였으며
36:25 And Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made a strong request to the king not
to let the book be burned, but he would not give ear to them.
36:25 Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession
to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.
36:26 왕이 왕의 아들 여라므엘과 아스리엘의 아들 스라야와 압디엘의 아들 셀레먀를
명하여 서기관 바룩과 선지자 예레미야를 잡으라 하였으나 여호와께서 그들을 숨기셨더라
36:26 And the king gave orders to Jerahmeel, the king's son, and Seraiah, the son of Azriel,
and Shelemiah, the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet:
but the Lord kept them safe.
36:26 But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah
the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe
and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.
36:27 ○ 왕이 두루마리와 바룩이 예레미야의 구전으로 기록한 말씀을 불사른
후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
36:27 Then after the book, in which Baruch had put down the words of Jeremiah, had been
burned by the king, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
36:27 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had
burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah,
saying,
36:28 너는 다시 다른 두루마리를 가지고 유다 왕 여호야김의 불사른 첫 두루마리의
모든 말을 기록하고
36:28 Take another book and put down in it all the words which were in the first book,
which Jehoiakim, king of Judah, put into the fire.
36:28 Take you again another roll, and write in it all the former words that
were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.
36:29 또 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하기를 여호와의 말씀에 그가 이
두루마리를 불사르며 말하기를 네가 어찌하여 바벨론 왕이 정녕히 와서 이 땅을 멸하고
사람과 짐승을 이 땅에서 없어지게 하리라 하는 말을 이 두루마리에 기록하였느뇨
하도다
36:29 And about Jehoiakim, king of Judah, you are to say, This is what the Lord has said:
You have put this book into the fire, saying, Why have you put in it that the king
of Babylon will certainly come, causing the destruction of this land and putting
an end to every man and beast in it?
36:29 And you shall say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus says the LORD; You
have burned this roll, saying, Why have you written therein, saying, The king
of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease
from thence man and beast?
36:30 그러므로 나 여호와가 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하노라 그에게
다윗의 위에 앉을 자가 없게 될 것이요 그 시체는 버림을 입어서 낮에는 더위, 밤에는
추위를 당하리라
36:30 For this reason the Lord has said of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, He will have no son
to take his place on the seat of David: his dead body will be put out to undergo
the heat of the day and the cold of the night.
36:30 Therefore thus says the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have
none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in
the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
36:31 또 내가 그와 그 자손과 신하들을 그들의 죄악을 인하여 벌할 것이라 내가
일찍 그들과 예루살렘 거민과 유다 사람에게 선포하였으나 그들이 듣지 아니한 그
모든 재앙을 내리리라 하셨다 하라
36:31 And I will send punishment on him and on his seed and on his servants for their
evil-doing; I will send on them and on the people of Jerusalem and the men of Judah,
all the evil which I said against them, but they did not give ear.
36:31 And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity;
and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon
the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they
hearkened not.
36:32 이에 예레미야가 다른 두루마리를 취하여 네리야의 아들 서기관 바룩에게
주매 그가 유다 왕 여호야김의 불사른 책의 모든 말을 예레미야의 구전대로 기록하고
그 외에도 그 같은 말을 많이 더 하였더라
36:32 Then Jeremiah took another book, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah,
who put down in it, from the mouth of Jeremiah, all the words of the book which
had been burned in the fire by Jehoiakim, king of Judah: and in addition a number
of other words of the same sort.
36:32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe,
the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words
of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there
were added besides unto them many like words.
