17:1 유다 왕 아하스 십 이 년에 엘라의 아들 호세아가 사마리아에서 이스라엘
왕이 되어 구 년을 치리하며
17:1 In the twelfth year of Ahaz, king of Judah, Hoshea, the son of Elah, became king
over Israel in Samaria, ruling for nine years.
17:1 In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah began Hoshea the son of Elah
to reign in Samaria over Israel nine years.
17:2 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였으나 그 전 이스라엘 여러 왕들과 같이 하지는
아니하였더라
17:2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, though not like the kings of Israel before
him.
17:2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, but not as
the kings of Israel that were before him.
17:3 앗수르 왕 살만에셀이 올라와서 호세아를 친 고로 호세아가 신복하여 조공을
드리더니
17:3 Against him came up Shalmaneser, king of Assyria, and Hoshea became his servant
and sent him offerings.
17:3 Against him came up Shalmaneser king of Assyria; and Hoshea became his
servant, and gave him presents.
17:4 저가 애굽 왕 소에게 사자들을 보내고 해마다 하던 대로 앗수르 왕에게 조공을
드리지 아니하매 앗수르 왕이 호세아의 배반함을 보고 저를 옥에 금고하여 두고
17:4 But Hoshea's broken faith became clear to the king of Assyria because he had sent
representatives to So, king of Egypt, and did not send his offering to the king
of Assyria, as he had done year by year: so the king of Assyria had him shut up
in prison and put in chains.
17:4 And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea: for he had sent
messengers to So king of Egypt, and brought no present to the king of Assyria,
as he had done year by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and
bound him in prison.
17:5 올라와서 그 온 땅에 두루 다니고 사마리아로 올라와서 삼 년을 에워쌌더라
17:5 Then the king of Assyria went through all the land and came up to Samaria, shutting
it in with his forces for three years.
17:5 Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up
to Samaria, and besieged it three years.
17:6 호세아 구 년에 앗수르 왕이 사마리아를 취하고 이스라엘 사람을 사로잡아
앗수르로 끌어다가 할라와 고산 하볼 하숫가와 메대 사람의 여러 고을에 두었더라
17:6 In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria, and took Israel away
to Assyria, placing them in Halah and in Habor on the river Gozan, and in the towns
of the Medes.
17:6 In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried
Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river
of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
17:7 ○ 이 일은 이스라엘 자손이 자기를 애굽에서 인도하여 내사 애굽 왕 바로의
손에서 벗어나게 하신 그 하나님 여호와께 죄를 범하고 또 다른 신들을 경외하며
17:7 And the wrath of the Lord came on Israel because they had done evil against the
Lord their God, who took them out of the land of Egypt from under the yoke of Pharaoh,
king of Egypt, and had become worshippers of other gods,
17:7 For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD
their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the
hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
17:8 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신 이방 사람의 규례와 이스라엘
여러 왕의 세운 율례를 행하였음이라
17:8 Living by the rules of the nations whom the Lord had sent out from before the children
of Israel.
17:8 And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from
before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.
17:9 이스라엘 자손이 가만히 불의를 행하여 그 하나님 여호와를 배역하여 모든
성읍에 망대로부터 견고한 성에 이르도록 산당을 세우고
17:9 And the children of Israel did secretly against the Lord their God things which
were not right, building high places for themselves in all their towns, from the
tower of the watchmen to the walled town.
17:9 And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right
against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities,
from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
17:10 모든 산 위에와 모든 푸른 나무 아래에 목상과 아세라 상을 세우고
17:10 They put up pillars of stone and wood on every high hill and under every green tree:
17:10 And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under
every green tree:
17:11 또 여호와께서 저희 앞에서 물리치신 이방 사람 같이 그 곳 모든 산당에서
분향하며 또 악을 행하여 여호와를 격노케 하였으며
17:11 Burning their offerings in all the high places, as those nations did whom the Lord
sent away from before them; they did evil things, moving the Lord to wrath;
17:11 And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen
whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke
the LORD to anger:
17:12 또 우상을 섬겼으니 이는 여호와께서 행치 말라 명하신 일이라
17:12 And they made themselves servants of disgusting things, though the Lord had said,
You are not to do this.
17:12 For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, All of
you shall not do this thing.
17:13 여호와께서 각 선지자와 각 선견자로 이스라엘과 유다를 경계하여 이르시기를
너희는 돌이켜 너희 악한 길에서 떠나 나의 명령과 율례를 지키되 내가 너희 열조에게
명하고 또 나의 종 선지자들로 너희에게 전한 모든 율법대로 행하라 하셨으나
17:13 And he gave witness to Israel and Judah, by every prophet and seer, saying, Come
back from your evil ways, and do my orders and keep my rules, and be guided by the
law which I gave to your fathers and sent to you by my servants the prophets.
17:13 Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the
prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn all of you from your evil ways,
and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded
your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
17:14 저희가 듣지 아니하고 그 목을 곧게 하기를 그 하나님 여호와를 믿지 아니하던
저희 열조의 목 같이 하여
17:14 And they did not give ear, but became stiff-necked, like their fathers who had no
faith in the Lord their God.
17:14 Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like
to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.
17:15 여호와의 율례와 여호와께서 그 열조로 더불어 세우신 언약과 경계하신
말씀을 버리고 허무한 것을 좇아 허망하며 또 여호와께서 명하사 본받지 말라 하신
사면 이방 사람을 본받아
17:15 And they went against his rules, and the agreement which he made with their fathers,
and his laws which he gave them; they gave themselves up to things without sense
or value, and became foolish like the nations round them, of whom the Lord had said,
Do not as they do.
17:15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with
their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they
followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round
about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not
do like them.
17:16 그 하나님 여호와의 모든 명령을 버리고 자기를 위하여 두 송아지 형상을
부어 만들고 또 아세라 목상을 만들고 하늘의 일월성신을 숭배하며 또 바알을 섬기고
17:16 And turning their backs on all the orders which the Lord had given them, they made
for themselves images of metal, and the image of Asherah, worshipping all the stars
of heaven and becoming servants to Baal.
17:16 And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made
them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the
host of heaven, and served Baal.
17:17 또 자기 자녀를 불 가운데로 지나가게 하며 복술과 사술을 행하고 스스로
팔려 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 그 노를 격발케 하였으므로
17:17 And they made their sons and their daughters go through the fire, and they made
use of secret arts and unnatural powers, and gave themselves up to doing evil in
the eyes of the Lord, till he was moved to wrath.
17:17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the
fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in
the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
17:18 여호와께서 이스라엘을 심히 노하사 그 앞에서 제하시니 유다 지파 외에는
남은 자가 없으니라
17:18 So the Lord was very angry with Israel, and his face was turned away from them:
only the tribe of Judah kept its place.
17:18 Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out
of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.
17:19 ○ 유다도 그 하나님 여호와의 명령을 지키지 아니하고 이스라엘 사람의
세운 율례를 행하였으므로
17:19 (But even Judah did not keep the orders of the Lord their God, but were guided by
the rules which Israel had made.
17:19 Also Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked
in the statutes of Israel which they made.
17:20 여호와께서 이스라엘의 온 족속을 버리사 괴롭게 하시며 노략군의 손에
붙이시고 심지어 그 앞에서 쫓아내시니라
17:20 So the Lord would have nothing to do with all the offspring of Israel, and sent
trouble on them, and gave them up into the hands of their attackers, till he had
sent them away from before his face.)
17:20 And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and
delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his
sight.
17:21 이스라엘을 다윗의 집에서 찢어 나누시매 저희가 느밧의 아들 여로보암으로
왕을 삼았더니 여로보암이 이스라엘을 몰아 여호와를 떠나고 큰 죄를 범하게 하매
17:21 For Israel was broken off from the family of David, and they made Jeroboam, the
son of Nebat, king, who, driving them away from the laws of the Lord, made them
do a great sin.
17:21 For he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made Jeroboam
the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drove Israel from following the LORD, and
made them sin a great sin.
17:22 이스라엘 자손이 여로보암의 행한 모든 죄를 따라 행하여 떠나지 아니하므로
17:22 And the children of Israel went on with all the sins which Jeroboam did; they did
not keep themselves from them;
17:22 For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which
he did; they departed not from them;
17:23 여호와께서 그 종 모든 선지자로 하신 말씀대로 심지어 이스라엘을 그 앞에서
제하신지라 이스라엘이 고향에서 앗수르에 사로잡혀 가서 오늘까지 미쳤더라
17:23 Till the Lord put Israel away from before his face, as he had said by all his servants
the prophets. So Israel was taken away from their land to Assyria, to this day.
17:23 Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all
his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land
to Assyria unto this day.
17:24 ○ 앗수르 왕이 바벨론과 구다와 아와와 하맛과 스발와임에서 사람을 옮겨다가
이스라엘 자손을 대신하여 사마리아 여러 성읍에 두매 저희가 사마리아를 차지하여
그 여러 성읍에 거하니라
17:24 Then the king of Assyria took men from Babylon and from Cuthah and Avva and Hamath
and Sepharvaim, and put them in the towns of Samaria in place of the children of
Israel; so they got Samaria for their heritage, living in its towns.
17:24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah,
and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities
of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and
dwelt in the cities thereof.
17:25 저희가 처음으로 거기 거할 때에 여호와를 경외치 아니한 고로 여호와께서
사자들을 그 가운데 보내시매 몇 사람을 죽인지라
17:25 Now when first they were living there they did not give worship to the Lord. So
the Lord sent lions among them, causing the death of some of them.
17:25 And so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they feared
not the LORD: therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which slew some of them.
17:26 그러므로 혹이 앗수르 왕에게 고하여 가로되 왕께서 사마리아 여러 성읍에
옮겨 거하게 하신 열방 사람이 그 땅 신의 법을 알지 못하므로 그 신이 사자들을
저희 가운데 보내매 저희를 죽였사오니 이는 저희가 그 땅 신의 법을 알지 못함이니이다
17:26 So they said to the king of Assyria, The nations whom you have taken as prisoners
and put in the towns of Samaria, have no knowledge of the way of the god of the
land: so he has sent lions among them, causing their death, because they have no
knowledge of his way.
17:26 Wherefore they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which
you have removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of
the God of the land: therefore he has sent lions among them, and, behold, they
slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
17:27 ○ 앗수르 왕이 명하여 가로되 너희는 그 곳에서 사로잡아 온 제사장 하나를
그 곳으로 데려가되 저로 그 곳에 가서 거하며 그 땅 신의 법으로 무리에게 가르치게
하라
17:27 Then the king of Assyria gave orders, saying, Send there one of the priests whom
you took away, and let him be living there and teaching the people the way of the
god of the land.
17:27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the
priests whom all of you brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there,
and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.
17:28 이에 사마리아에서 사로잡혀 간 제사장 중 하나가 와서 벧엘에 거하며 백성에게
어떻게 여호와 경외할 것을 가르쳤더라
17:28 So one of the priests whom they had taken away as a prisoner from Samaria came back,
and, living in Beth-el, became their teacher in the worship of the Lord.
17:28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came
and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.
17:29 그러나 각 민족이 각기 자기의 신상들을 만들어 사마리아 사람의 지은 여러
산당에 두되 각 민족이 자기의 거한 성읍에서 그렇게 하여
17:29 And every nation made gods for themselves, and put them in the houses of the high
places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in the towns where they were
living.
17:29 Nevertheless every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the
houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their
cities wherein they dwelt.
17:30 바벨론 사람들은 숙곳브놋을 만들었고 굿 사람들은 네르갈을 만들었고 하맛
사람들은 아시마를 만들었고
17:30 The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the
men of Hamath made Ashima,
17:30 And the men of Babylon made Succothbenoth, and the men of Cuth made
Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,
17:31 아와 사람들은 닙하스와 다르닥을 만들었고 스발와임 사람들은 그 자녀를
불살라 그 신 아드람멜렉과 아남멜렉에게 드렸으며
17:31 The Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites gave their children to be
burned in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.
17:31 And the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their
children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.
17:32 저희가 또 여호와를 경외하여 자기 중에서 사람을 산당의 제사장으로 택하여
그 산당에서 자기를 위하여 제사를 드리게 하니라
17:32 So they went on worshipping the Lord, and made for themselves, from among all the
people, priests for the high places, to make offerings for them in the houses of
the high places.
17:32 So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the low of them
priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high
places.
17:33 이와 같이 저희가 여호와도 경외하고 또한 어디서부터 옮겨 왔든지 그 민족의
풍속대로 자기의 신들도 섬겼더라
17:33 They gave worship to the Lord, but they gave honour to their gods like the nations
did from whom they had been taken as prisoners.
17:33 They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of
the nations whom they carried away from thence.
17:34 저희가 오늘까지 이전 풍속대로 행하여 여호와를 경외치 아니하며 또 여호와께서
이스라엘이라 이름을 주신 야곱의 자손에게 명하신 율례와 법도와 율법과 계명을
준행치 아니하는도다
17:34 So to this day they go on in their old ways, not worshipping the Lord or keeping
his orders or his ways or the law and the rule which the Lord gave to the children
of Jacob, to whom he gave the name Israel;
17:34 Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD,
neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the
law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he
named Israel;
17:35 옛적에 여호와께서 야곱의 자손에게 언약을 세우시고 저희에게 명하여 가라사대
너희는 다른 신을 경외하지 말며 그를 숭배하지 말며 그를 섬기지 말며 그에게 제사하지
말고
17:35 And the Lord made an agreement with them and gave them orders, saying, You are to
have no other gods; you are not to give worship to them or be their servants or
make them offerings:
17:35 With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, All
of you shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them,
nor sacrifice to them:
17:36 오직 큰 능력과 편 팔로 너희를 애굽에서 인도하여 낸 여호와만 너희가
경외하여 그를 숭배하며 그에게 제사를 드릴 것이며
17:36 But the Lord, who took you out of the land of Egypt with his great power and his
outstretched arm, he is your God, to whom you are to give worship and make offerings:
17:36 But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great
power and a stretched out arm, him shall all of you fear, and him shall all
of you worship, and to him shall all of you do sacrifice.
17:37 또 여호와가 너희를 위하여 기록한 율례와 법도와 율법과 계명을 너희가
지켜 영원히 행하고 다른 신들을 경외치 말며
17:37 And the rules and the orders and the law which he put in writing for you, you are
to keep and do for ever; you are to have no other gods.
17:37 And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment,
which he wrote for you, all of you shall observe to do for evermore; and all
of you shall not fear other gods.
17:38 또 내가 너희와 세운 언약을 잊지 말며 다른 신들을 경외치 말고
17:38 And you are to keep in memory the agreement which I have made with you; and you
are to have no other gods.
17:38 And the covenant that I have made with you all of you shall not forget;
neither shall all of you fear other gods.
17:39 오직 너희 하나님 여호와를 경외하라 그가 너희를 모든 원수의 손에서 건져내리라 하셨으나
17:39 And you are to give worship to the Lord your God; for it is he who will give you
salvation from the hands of all who are against you.
17:39 But the LORD your God all of you shall fear; and he shall deliver you
out of the hand of all your enemies.
17:40 그러나 저희가 듣지 아니하고 오히려 이전 풍속대로 행하였느니라
17:40 But they gave no attention, but went on in their old way.
17:40 Nevertheless they did not hearken, but they did after their former
manner.
17:41 그 여러 민족이 여호와를 경외하고 또 그 아로새긴 우상을 섬기더니 그
자자 손손이 그 열조의 행한 것을 좇아 오늘까지 그대로 하니라
17:41 So these nations, worshipping the Lord, still were servants to the images they had
made; their children and their children's children did the same; as their fathers
did, so do they, to this day.
17:41 So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both
their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they
unto this day.
18:1 이스라엘 왕 엘라의 아들 호세아 삼 년에 유다 왕 아하스의 아들 히스기야가
왕이 되니
18:1 Now in the third year of Hoshea, son of Elah, king of Israel, Hezekiah, the son
of Ahaz, became king of Judah.
18:1 Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of
Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.
18:2 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오 세라 예루살렘에서 이십 구 년을 치리하니라
그 모친의 이름은 아비라 스가리야의 딸이더라
18:2 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, ruling in Jerusalem for twenty-nine
years; his mother's name was Abi, the daughter of Zechariah.
18:2 Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned
twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Abi, the daughter
of Zachariah.
18:3 히스기야가 그 조상 다윗의 모든 행위와 같이 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여
18:3 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord as David his father had done.
18:3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according
to all that David his father did.
18:4 여러 산당을 제하며 주상을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상을 찍으며 모세가 만들었던
놋뱀을 이스라엘 자손이 이때까지 향하여 분향하므로 그것을 부수고 느후스단이라
일컬었더라
18:4 He had the high places taken away, and the stone pillars broken to bits, and the
Asherah cut down; and the brass snake which Moses had made was crushed to powder
at his order, because in those days the children of Israel had offerings burned
before it, and he gave it the name Nehushtan.
18:4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves,
and brake in pieces the brazen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days
the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
18:5 히스기야가 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 의지하였는데 그의 전후 유다 여러
왕 중에 그러한 자가 없었으니
18:5 He had faith in the Lord, the God of Israel; so that there was no one like him among
all the kings of Judah who were before him.
18:5 He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like
him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.
18:6 곧 저가 여호와께 연합하여 떠나지 아니하고 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신
계명을 지켰더라
18:6 For his heart was fixed on the Lord, not turning from his ways, and he did his orders
which the Lord gave to Moses.
18:6 For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept
his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.
18:7 여호와께서 저와 함께 하시매 저가 어디로 가든지 형통하였더라 저가 앗수르
왕을 배척하고 섬기지 아니하였고
18:7 And the Lord was with him; he did well in all his undertakings: and he took up arms
against the king of Assyria and was his servant no longer.
18:7 And the LORD was with him; and he prospered anywhere he went forth:
and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.
18:8 블레셋 사람을 쳐서 가사와 그 사방에 이르고 망대에서부터 견고한 성까지
이르렀더라
18:8 He overcame the Philistines as far as Gaza and its limits, from the tower of the
watchman to the walled town.
18:8 He stroke the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof,
from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
18:9 ○ 히스기야 왕 사 년 곧 이스라엘 왕 엘라의 아들 호세아 칠 년에 앗수르
왕 살만에셀이 사마리아로 올라와서 에워쌌더라
18:9 Now in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea, son
of Elah, king of Israel, Shalmaneser, king of Assyria, came up against Samaria,
shutting it in with his armies.
18:9 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the
seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of
Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
18:10 삼 년 후에 그 성이 함락되니 곧 히스기야의 육 년이요 이스라엘 왕 호세아의
구 년이라 사마리아가 함락되매
18:10 And at the end of three years they took it; in the sixth year of Hezekiah's rule,
which was the ninth year of Hoshea, king of Israel, Samaria was taken.
18:10 And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year
of Hezekiah, that is in the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was
taken.
18:11 앗수르 왕이 이스라엘을 사로잡아 앗수르에 이르러 할라와 고산 하볼 하숫가와
메대 사람의 여러 성읍에 두었으니
18:11 And the king of Assyria took Israel away as prisoners into Assyria, placing them
in Halah and in Habor on the river Gozan, and in the towns of the Medes;
18:11 And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put
them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:
18:12 이는 저희가 그 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 준행치 아니하고 그 언약을 배반하고
여호와의 종 모세의 모든 명한 것을 거스려 듣지도 아니하며 행치도 아니하였음이더라
18:12 Because they did not give ear to the voice of the Lord their God, but went against
his agreement, even against everything ordered by Moses, the servant of the Lord,
and they did not give ear to it or do it.
18:12 Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed
his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would
not hear them, nor do them.
18:13 히스기야 왕 십 사 년에 앗수르 왕 산헤립이 올라와서 유다 모든 견고한
성읍들을 쳐서 취하매
18:13 Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, Sennacherib, king of Assyria, came
up against all the walled towns of Judah and took them.
18:13 Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of
Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.
18:14 유다 왕 히스기야가 라기스로 보내어 앗수르 왕에게 이르되 내가 범죄하였나이다
나를 떠나 돌아가소서 왕이 내게 지우시는 것을 내가 당하리이다 하였더니 앗수르
왕이 곧 은 삼백 달란트와 금 삼십 달란트를 정하여 유다 왕 히스기야로 내게 한지라
18:14 And Hezekiah, king of Judah, sent to Lachish, to the king of Assyria, saying, I
have done wrong; give up attacking me, and whatever you put on me I will undergo.
And the payment he was to make was fixed by the king of Assyria at three hundred
talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
18:14 And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish,
saying, I have offended; return from me: that which you put on me will I bear.
And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred
talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
18:15 히스기야가 이에 여호와의 전과 왕궁 곳간에 있는 은을 다 주었고
18:15 So Hezekiah gave him all the silver in the house of the Lord, and in the king's
store-house.
18:15 And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of
the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house.
18:16 또 그 때에 유다 왕 히스기야가 여호와의 전 문의 금과 자기가 모든 기둥에
입힌 금을 벗겨 모두 앗수르 왕에게 주었더라
18:16 And at that time Hezekiah had the gold from the doors of the Lord's house, and from
the door-pillars plated by him, cut off and gave it to the king of Assyria.
18:16 At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple
of the LORD, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid,
and gave it to the king of Assyria.
18:17 ○ 앗수르 왕이 다르단과 랍사리스와 랍사게로 대군을 거느리고 라기스에서부터
예루살렘으로 가서 히스기야 왕을 치게 하매 저희가 예루살렘으로 올라가니라 저희가
올라가서 윗못 수도 곁 곧 세탁자의 밭에 있는 큰 길에 이르러 서니라
18:17 Then the king of Assyria sent the Tartan and the Rab-saris and the Rab-shakeh from
Lachish to Jerusalem, to King Hezekiah, with a strong force. And they went up and
came to Jerusalem, and took up their position by the stream of the higher pool,
by the highway of the washerman's field.
18:17 And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rabshakeh from
Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went
up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by
the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the launderer's field.
18:18 저희가 왕을 부르매 힐기야의 아들 궁내 대신 엘리야김과 서기관 셉나와
아삽의 아들 사관 요아가 저에게 나가니
18:18 And they sent for the king, and Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, who was over the house,
and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to them.
18:18 And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim
the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and
Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.
18:19 랍사게가 저희에게 이르되 너희는 히스기야에게 고하라 대왕 앗수르 왕의
말씀이 너의 의뢰하는 이 의뢰가 무엇이냐
18:19 And the Rab-shakeh said to them, Say now to Hezekiah, These are the words of the
great king, the king of Assyria: In what are you placing your hope?
18:19 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak all of you now to Hezekiah, Thus
says the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein you
trust?
18:20 네가 싸울 만한 계교와 용력이 있다고 한다마는 이는 입에 붙은 말 뿐이라
네가 이제 누구를 의뢰하고 나를 반역하였느냐
18:20 You say you have a design, and strength for war, but these are only words. Now to
whom are you looking for support, that you have gone against my authority?
18:20 You says, (but they are but vain words,) I have counsel and strength
for the war. Now on whom do you trust, that you rebel against me?
18:21 이제 네가 저 상한 갈대 지팡이 애굽을 의뢰하도다 사람이 그것을 의지하면
그 손에 찔려 들어갈지라 애굽 왕 바로는 무릇 의뢰하는 자에게 이와 같으니라
18:21 See, now, you are basing your hope on that broken rod of Egypt, which will go through
a man's hand if he makes use of it for a support; for so is Pharaoh, king of Egypt,
to all who put their faith in him.
18:21 Now, behold, you trust upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon
Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is
Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
18:22 너희가 혹시 내게 이르기를 우리는 우리 하나님 여호와를 의뢰하노라 하리라마는
히스기야가 여호와의 산당과 제단을 제하고 유다와 예루살렘 사람에게 명하기를 예루살렘
이 단 앞에서만 숭배하라 하지 아니하였느냐 하셨나니
18:22 And if you say to me, Our hope is in the Lord our God: is it not he, whose high
places and altars Hezekiah has taken away, saying to Judah and Jerusalem that worship
may only be given before this altar in Jerusalem?
18:22 But if all of you say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not
that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has
said to Judah and Jerusalem, All of you shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
18:23 이제 너는 내 주 앗수르 왕과 내기하라 네가 만일 그 말 탈 사람을 낼 수
있다면 나는 네게 말 이천 필을 주리라
18:23 And now, take a chance with my master, the king of Assyria, and I will give you
two thousand horses, if you are able to put horsemen on them.
18:23 Now therefore, I pray you, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria,
and I will deliver you two thousand horses, if you be able on your part to set
riders upon them.
18:24 네가 어찌 내 주의 신복 중 지극히 작은 장관 하나인들 물리치며 애굽을
의뢰하고 그 병거와 기병을 얻을 듯하냐
18:24 How then may you put to shame the least of my master's servants? and you have put
your hope in Egypt for war-carriages and horsemen:
18:24 How then will you turn away the face of one captain of the least of
my master's servants, and put your trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
18:25 내가 어찌 여호와의 뜻이 아니고야 이제 이곳을 멸하러 올라왔겠느냐 여호와께서
전에 내게 이르시기를 이 땅으로 올라와서 쳐서 멸하라 하셨느니라
18:25 And have I now come up to send destruction on this place without the Lord's authority?
It was the Lord himself who said to me, Go up against this land and make it waste.
18:25 Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it?
The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
18:26 힐기야의 아들 엘리야김과 셉나와 요아가 랍사게에게 이르되 우리가 알아듣겠사오니
청컨대 아람 방언으로 당신의 종들에게 말씀하시고 성 위에 있는 백성의 듣는데 유다
방언으로 우리에게 말씀하지 마옵소서
18:26 Then Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna and Joah said to the Rab-shakeh, Will
you kindly make use of the Aramaean language in talking to your servants, for we
are used to it, and do not make use of the Jews' language in the hearing of the
people on the wall.
18:26 Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh,
Speak, I pray you, to your servants in the Syrian language; for we understand
it: and talk not with us in the Jews' language in the ears of the people that
are on the wall.
18:27 랍사게가 저에게 이르되 내 주께서 네 주와 네게만 이 말을 하라고 나를
보내신 것이냐 성 위에 앉은 사람들로도 너희와 함께 자기의 대변을 먹게 하고 자기의
소변을 마시게 하신 것이 아니냐 하고
18:27 But the Rab-shakeh said to them, Is it to your master or to you that my master has
sent me to say these words? has he not sent me to the men seated on the wall? for
they are the people who will be short of food with you when the town is shut in.
18:27 But Rabshakeh said unto them, Has my master sent me to your master,
and to you, to speak these words? has he not sent me to the men which sit on
the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
18:28 랍사게가 드디어 일어서서 유다 방언으로 크게 소리 질러 불러 가로되 너희는
대왕 앗수르 왕의 말씀을 들으라
18:28 Then the Rab-shakeh got up and said with a loud voice in the Jews' language, Give
ear to the words of the great king, the king of Assyria;
18:28 Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language,
and spoke, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:
18:29 왕의 말씀이 너희는 히스기야에게 속지 말라 저가 너희를 내 손에서 건져내지
못하리라
18:29 This is what the king says: Do not be tricked by Hezekiah, for there is no salvation
for you in him.
18:29 Thus says the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not
be able to deliver you out of his hand:
18:30 또한 히스기야가 너희로 여호와를 의뢰하라 함을 듣지 말라 저가 이르기를
여호와께서 정녕 우리를 건지실지라 이 성이 앗수르 왕의 손에 함락되지 않게 하시리라
할지라도
18:30 And do not let Hezekiah make you put your faith in the Lord, saying, The Lord will
certainly keep us safe, and this town will not be given into the hands of the king
of Assyria.
18:30 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will
surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the
king of Assyria.
18:31 너희는 히스기야의 말을 듣지 말라 앗수르 왕의 말씀이 너희는 내게 항복하고
내게로 나아오라 그리하고 너희는 각각 그 포도와 무화과를 먹고 또한 각각 자기의
우물의 물을 마시라
18:31 Do not give ear to Hezekiah, for this is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace
with me and come out to me; and everyone will be free to take the fruit of his vine
and of his fig-tree, and the water of his spring;
18:31 Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus says the king of Assyria, Make an
agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat all of you
every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink all of you
every one the waters of his cistern:
18:32 내가 장차 와서 너희를 한 지방으로 옮기리니 그 곳은 너희 본토와 같은
지방 곧 곡식과 포도주가 있는 지방이요 떡과 포도원이 있는 지방이요 기름 나는
감람과 꿀이 있는 지방이라 너희가 살고 죽지 아니하리라 히스기야가 너희를 면려하여
이르기를 여호와께서 우리를 건지시리라 하여도 듣지 말라
18:32 Till I come and take you away to a land like yours, a land of grain and wine, a
land of bread and vine-gardens, a land of oil-giving olives and of honey, so that
life and not death may be your fate. Give no attention to Hezekiah when he says
to you, The Lord will keep us safe.
18:32 Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land
of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of
honey, that all of you may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah,
when he persuades you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.
18:33 열국의 신들 중에 그 땅을 앗수르 왕의 손에서 건진 자가 있느냐
18:33 Has any one of the gods of the nations kept his land from falling into the hands
of the king of Assyria?
18:33 Has any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of
the hand of the king of Assyria?
18:34 하맛과 아르밧의 신들이 어디 있으며 스발와임과 헤나와 아와의 신들이
어디 있느냐 그들이 사마리아를 내 손에서 건졌느냐
18:34 Where are the gods of Hamath and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, of
Hena and Ivvah? have they kept Samaria out of my hands?
18:34 Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim,
Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?
18:35 열국의 모든 신 중에 누가 그 땅을 내 손에서 건졌기에 여호와가 예루살렘을
내 손에서 능히 건지겠느냐 하셨느니라
18:35 Who among all the gods of these countries have kept their country from falling into
my hands, to give cause for the thought that the Lord will keep Jerusalem from falling
into my hands?
18:35 Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered
their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of
mine hand?
18:36 ○ 그러나 백성이 잠잠하고 한 말도 대답지 아니하니 이는 왕이 명하여
대답하지 말라 하였음이라
18:36 But the people kept quiet and gave him no answer: for the king's order was, Give
him no answer.
18:36 But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the
king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
18:37 이에 힐기야의 아들 궁내 대신 엘리야김과 서기관 셉나와 아삽의 아들 사관
요아가 그 옷을 찢고 히스기야에게 나아가서 랍사게의 말을 고하니라
18:37 Then Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, who was over the house, and Shebna the scribe,
and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah, with their clothing
parted as a sign of grief, and gave him an account of what the Rab-shakeh had said.
18:37 Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household,
and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with
their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
19:1 히스기야 왕이 듣고 그 옷을 찢고 굵은 베를 입고 여호와의 전에 들어가서
19:1 And on hearing it, King Hezekiah took off his robe, and put on haircloth, and went
into the house of the Lord.
19:1 And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes,
and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
19:2 궁내 대신 엘리야김과 서기관 셉나와 제사장 중 장로들에게 굵은 베를 입혀서
아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야에게로 보내매
19:2 And he sent Eliakim, who was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and the chief
priests, dressed in haircloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.
19:2 And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe,
and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet
the son of Amoz.
19:3 저희가 이사야에게 이르되 히스기야의 말씀이 오늘은 곤란과 책벌과 능욕의
날이라 아이가 임산하였으나 해산할 힘이 없도다
19:3 And they said to him, Hezekiah says, This day is a day of trouble and punishment
and shame; for the children are ready to come to birth, but there is no strength
to give birth to them.
19:3 And they said unto him, Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble,
and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there
is not strength to bring forth.
19:4 랍사게가 그 주 앗수르 왕의 보냄을 받고 와서 사신 하나님을 훼방하였으니
당신의 하나님 여호와께서 혹시 저의 말을 들으셨을지라 당신의 하나님 여호와께서
그 들으신 말을 인하여 꾸짖으실 듯하니 당신은 이 남아 있는 자를 위하여 기도하소서
하더이다
19:4 It may be that the Lord your God will give ear to the words of the Rab-shakeh, whom
the king of Assyria, his master, sent to say evil things against the living God,
and will make his words come to nothing: so then make your prayer for the rest of
the people.
19:4 It may be the LORD your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom
the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living God; and will
reprove the words which the LORD your God has heard: wherefore lift up your
prayer for the remnant that are left.
19:5 이와 같이 히스기야 왕의 신복이 이사야에게 나아가니
19:5 So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
19:5 So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
19:6 이사야가 저희에게 이르되 너희는 너희 주에게 이렇게 고하라 여호와의 말씀이
너는 앗수르 왕의 신복에게 들은 바 나를 능욕하는 말을 인하여 두려워하지 말라
19:6 And Isaiah said to them, This is what you are to say to your master: The Lord says,
Be not troubled by the words which the servants of the king of Assyria have said
against me in your hearing.
19:6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall all of you say to your master,
Thus says the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which you have heard, with which
the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
19:7 내가 한 영을 저의 속에 두어 저로 풍문을 듣고 그 본국으로 돌아가게 하고
또 그 본국에서 저로 칼에 죽게 하리라 하셨느니라
19:7 See, I will put a spirit into him, and bad news will come to his ears, and he will
go back to his land; and there I will have him put to death by the sword.
19:7 Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and
shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his
own land.
19:8 ○ 랍사게가 돌아가다가 앗수르 왕이 이미 라기스에서 떠났다 함을 듣고
립나로 가서 왕을 만났으니 왕이 거기서 싸우는 중이더라
19:8 So the Rab-shakeh went back, and when he got there the king of Assyria was making
war against Libnah, for it had come to his ears that he had gone away from Lachish.
19:8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against
Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
19:9 앗수르 왕이 구스 왕 디르하가가 나와서 더불어 싸우고자 한다 함을 듣고
다시 히스기야에게 사자를 보내며 가로되
19:9 And when news came to him that Tirhakah, king of Ethiopia, had made an attack on
him, he sent representatives to Hezekiah again, saying,
19:9 And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he has come
out to fight against you: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying,
19:10 너희는 유다 왕 히스기야에게 이같이 말하여 이르기를 너의 의뢰하는 네
하나님이 예루살렘을 앗수르 왕의 손에 붙이지 않겠다 하는 말에 속지 말라
19:10 This is what you are to say to Hezekiah, king of Judah: Let not your God, in whom
is your faith, give you a false hope, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the
hands of the king of Assyria.
19:10 Thus shall all of you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let
not your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered
into the hand of the king of Assyria.
19:11 앗수르의 열왕이 열방에 행한 바 진멸한 일을 네가 들었나니 네가 어찌 구원을
얻겠느냐
19:11 No doubt the story has come to your ears of what the kings of Assyria have done
to all lands, putting them to the curse; and will you be kept safe?
19:11 Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands,
by destroying them utterly: and shall you be delivered?
19:12 내 열조가 멸하신 열방 곧 고산과 하란과 레셉과 들라살에 있는 에덴 족속을
그 나라의 신들이 건졌느냐
19:12 Did the gods of the nations keep safe those on whom my fathers sent destruction,
Gozan and Haran and Rezeph and the children of Eden who were in Telassar?
19:12 Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed;
as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?
19:13 하맛 왕과 아르밧 왕과 스발와임 성의 왕과 헤나와 아와의 왕들이 다 어디
있느냐 하라 하니라
19:13 Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the town of
Sepharvaim, of Hena and of Ivvah?
19:13 Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of
the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah?
19:14 ○ 히스기야가 사자의 손에서 편지를 받아 보고 여호와의 전에 올라가서
그 편지를 여호와 앞에 펴 놓고
19:14 And Hezekiah took the letter from the hands of those who had come with it; and after
reading it, Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord, opening the letter there
before the Lord.
19:14 And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and
read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before
the LORD.
19:15 그 앞에서 기도하여 가로되 그룹들의 위에 계신 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여
주는 천하 만국에 홀로 하나님이시라 주께서 천지를 조성하셨나이다
19:15 And Hezekiah made his prayer to the Lord, saying, O Lord, the God of Israel, seated
between the winged ones, you only are the God of all the kingdoms of the earth;
you have made heaven and earth.
19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel,
which dwell between the cherubims, you are the God, even you alone, of all the
kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.
19:16 여호와여 귀를 기울여 들으소서 여호와여 눈을 떠서 보시옵소서 산헤립이
사신 하나님을 훼방하러 보낸 말을 들으시옵소서
19:16 Let your ear be turned to us, O Lord, and let your eyes be open, O Lord, and see;
take note of all the words of Sennacherib who has sent men to say evil against the
living God.
19:16 LORD, bow down yours ear, and hear: open, LORD, yours eyes, and see:
and hear the words of Sennacherib, which has sent him to reproach the living
God.
19:17 여호와여 앗수르 열왕이 과연 열방과 그 땅을 황폐케 하고
19:17 Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have made waste the nations and their lands,
19:17 Truthfully, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and
their lands,
19:18 또 그 신들을 불에 던졌사오니 이는 저희가 신이 아니요 사람의 손으로
지은 것 곧 나무와 돌 뿐이므로 멸하였나이다
19:18 And have given their gods to the fire; for they were no gods, but wood and stone,
the work of men's hands; so they have given them to destruction.
19:18 And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but
the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
19:19 우리 하나님 여호와여 원컨대 이제 우리를 그 손에서 구원하옵소서 그리하시면
천하 만국이 주 여호와는 홀로 하나님이신 줄 알리이다 하니라
19:19 But now, O Lord our God, give us salvation from his hands, so that it may be clear
to all the kingdoms of the earth that you and only you, O Lord, are God.
19:19 Now therefore, O LORD our God, I plead to you, save you us out of his
hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are the LORD God,
even you only.
19:20 ○ 아모스의 아들 이사야가 히스기야에게 기별하여 가로되 이스라엘 하나님
여호와의 말씀이 네가 앗수르 왕 산헤립 까닭에 내게 기도하는 것을 내가 들었노라
하셨나이다
19:20 Then Isaiah, the son of Amoz, sent to Hezekiah, saying, The Lord, the God of Israel,
says, The prayer which you have made to me against Sennacherib, king of Assyria,
has come to my ears.
19:20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus says the
LORD God of Israel, That which you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king
of Assyria I have heard.
19:21 여호와께서 앗수르 왕에게 대하여 이같이 말씀하시기를 처녀 딸 시온이
너를 멸시하며 너를 비웃었으며 딸 예루살렘이 너를 향하여 머리를 흔들었느니라
19:21 This is the word which the Lord has said about him: In the eyes of the virgin daughter
of Zion you are shamed and laughed at; the daughter of Jerusalem has made sport
of you.
19:21 This is the word that the LORD has spoken concerning him; The virgin
the daughter of Zion has despised you, and laughed you to scorn; the daughter
of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.
19:22 네가 누구를 꾸짖었으며 훼방하였느냐 누구를 향하여 소리를 높였으며 눈을
높이 떴느냐 이스라엘의 거룩한 자에게 그리하였도다
19:22 Against whom have you said evil and bitter things? against whom has your voice been
loud and your eyes lifted up? even against the Holy One of Israel.
19:22 Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? and against whom have you
exalted your voice, and lifted up yours eyes on high? even against the Holy
One of Israel.
19:23 네가 사자로 주를 훼방하여 이르기를 내가 많은 병거를 거느리고 여러 산
꼭대기에
올라가며 레바논 깊은 곳에 이르러 높은 백향목과 아름다운 잣나무를 베고 내가 그
지경 끝에 들어가며 그 동산의 무성한 수풀에 이르리라
19:23 You have sent your servants with evil words against the Lord, and have said, With
all my war-carriages I have come up to the top of the mountains, to the inmost parts
of Lebanon; its tall cedars will be cut down, and the best trees of its woods; I
will come up into his highest places, into his thick woods.
19:23 By your messengers you have reproached the LORD, and have said, With
the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to
the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the
choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders,
and into the forest of his Carmel.
19:24 내가 땅을 파서 이방의 물을 마셨고 나의 발바닥으로 애굽의 모든 하수를
말렸노라 하였도다
19:24 I have made water-holes and taken their waters, and with my foot I have made all
the rivers of Egypt dry.
19:24 I have dug and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have
I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.
19:25 네가 듣지 못하였느냐 이 일은 내가 태초부터 행하였고 상고부터 정한 바라
이제 내가 이루어 너로 견고한 성들을 멸하여 돌무더기가 되게 함이니라
19:25 Has it not come to your ears how I did it long before, purposing it in times long
past? Now I have given effect to my design, so that by you strong towns might be
turned into masses of broken walls.
19:25 Have you not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times
that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that you should be to
lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.
19:26 그러므로 그 거한 백성의 힘이 약하여 두려워하며 놀랐나니 저희는 마치
들의 풀 같고 나물 같고 지붕의 풀 같고 자라기 전에 마른 곡초 같으니라
19:26 This is why their townsmen had no power, they were broken and put to shame; they
were like the grass of the field and the green plant, like grass on the house-tops.
19:26 Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed
and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb,
as the grass on the house tops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
19:27 네 거처와 네 출입과 네가 내게 향한 분노를 내가 다 아노니
19:27 But I have knowledge of your getting up and your resting, of your going out and
your coming in.
19:27 But I know your abode, and your going out, and your coming in, and
your rage against me.
19:28 네가 내게 향한 분노와 네 교만한 말이 내 귀에 들렸도다 그러므로 내가
갈고리로 네 코에 꿰고 자갈을 네 입에 먹여 너를 오던 길로 끌어 돌이키리라 하셨나이다
19:28 Because your wrath against me and your words of pride have come up to my ears, I
will put my hook in your nose and my cord in your lips, and I will make you go back
by the way you came.
19:28 Because your rage against me and your tumult has come up into mine
ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips,
and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.
19:29 ○ 또 네게 보일 징조가 이러하니 너희가 금년에는 스스로 자라난 것을
먹고 명년에는 그것에서 난 것을 먹되 제 삼 년에는 심고 거두며 포도원을 심고 그
열매를 먹으리라
19:29 And this will be the sign to you: you will get your food this year from what comes
up of itself; and in the second year from the produce of the same; and in the third
year you will put in your seed and get in the grain and make vine-gardens and take
of their fruit.
19:29 And this shall be a sign unto you, All of you shall eat this year such
things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springs of the
same; and in the third year sow all of you, and reap, and plant vineyards, and
eat the fruits thereof.
19:30 유다 족속의 피하고 남은 자는 다시 아래로 뿌리가 서리고 위로 열매를
맺을지라
19:30 And those of Judah who are still living will again take root in the earth and give
fruit.
19:30 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again
take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
19:31 남은 자는 예루살렘에서부터 나올 것이요 피하는 자는 시온 산에서부터 나오리니
여호와의 열심이 이 일을 이루리라 하셨나이다
19:31 For from Jerusalem those who have been kept safe will go out, and those who are
still living will go out of Mount Zion: by the fixed purpose of the Lord of armies
this will be done.
19:31 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape
out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
19:32 그러므로 여호와께서 앗수르 왕을 가리켜 이르시기를 저가 이 성에 이르지
못하며 이리로 살을 쏘지 못하며 방패를 성을 향하여 세우지 못하며 치려고 토성을
쌓지도 못하고
19:32 For this cause the Lord says about the king of Assyria, He will not come into this
town, or send an arrow against it; he will not come before it with arms, or put
up an earthwork against it;
19:32 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall
not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield,
nor cast a bank against it.
19:33 오던 길로 돌아가고 이 성에 이르지 못하리라 하셨으니 이는 여호와의 말씀이시라
19:33 By the way he came he will go back, and he will not get into this town, says the
Lord.
19:33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not
come into this city, says the LORD.
19:34 내가 나와 나의 종 다윗을 위하여 이 성을 보호하여 구원하리라 하셨나이다
하였더라
19:34 For I will keep this town safe, for my honour, and for the honour of my servant
David.
19:34 For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for
my servant David's sake.
19:35 ○ 이 밤에 여호와의 사자가 나와서 앗수르 진에서 군사 십팔만 오천을
친지라 아침에 일찌기 일어나 보니 다 송장이 되었더라
19:35 And that night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death in the army of the
Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand men; and when the people got up early
in the morning, there was nothing to be seen but dead bodies.
19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out,
and stroke in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand:
and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
19:36 앗수르 왕 산헤립이 떠나 돌아가서 니느웨에 거하더니
19:36 So Sennacherib, king of Assyria, went back to his place at Nineveh.
19:36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and
dwelt at Nineveh.
19:37 그 신 니스록의 묘에 경배할 때에 아드람멜렉과 사레셀이 저를 칼로 쳐죽이고
아라랏 땅으로 도망하매 그 아들 에살핫돈이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
19:37 And it came about, when he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that
his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer put him to death with the sword; and they went
in flight into the land of Ararat. And Esar-haddon his son became king in his place.
19:37 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch
his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons stroke him with the sword: and
they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his
position.
20:1 그 때에 히스기야가 병들어 죽게 되매 아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야가 저에게
나아와서 이르되 여호와의 말씀이 너는 집을 처치하라 네가 죽고 살지 못하리라 하셨나이다
20:1 In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of
Amoz, came to him, and said to him, The Lord says, Put your house in order, for
your death is near.
20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the
son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD, Set yours house
in order; for you shall die, and not live.
20:2 히스기야가 낯을 벽으로 향하고 여호와께 기도하여 가로되
20:2 Then, turning his face to the wall, he made his prayer to the Lord, saying,
20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,
20:3 여호와여 구하오니 내가 진실과 전심으로 주 앞에 행하며 주의 보시기에
선하게 행한 것을 기억하옵소서 하고 심히 통곡하더라
20:3 O Lord, keep in mind how I have been true to you with all my heart, and have done
what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah gave way to bitter weeping.
20:3 I plead to you, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before you in
truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.
And Hezekiah wept sore.
20:4 이사야가 성읍 가운데까지도 이르기 전에 여호와의 말씀이 저에게 임하여
가라사대
20:4 Now before Isaiah had gone out of the middle of the town, the word of the Lord came
to him, saying,
20:4 And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle court,
that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
20:5 너는 돌아가서 내 백성의 주권자 히스기야에게 이르기를 왕의 조상 다윗의
하나님 여호와의 말씀이 내가 네 기도를 들었고 네 눈물을 보았노라 내가 너를 낫게
하리니 네가 삼 일 만에 여호와의 전에 올라가겠고
20:5 Go back and say to Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, The Lord, the God of David
your father, says, Your prayer has come to my ears, and I have seen your weeping;
see, I will make you well: on the third day you will go up to the house of the Lord.
20:5 Return, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus says the LORD,
the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears:
behold, I will heal you: on the third day you shall go up unto the house of
the LORD.
20:6 내가 네 날을 십 오 년을 더할 것이며 내가 너와 이 성을 앗수르 왕의 손에서
구원하고 내가 나를 위하고 또 내 종 다윗을 위하므로 이 성을 보호하리라 하셨다
하라 하셨더라
20:6 I will give you fifteen more years of life; and I will keep you and this town safe
from the hands of the king of Assyria; I will keep this town safe, for my honour,
and for the honour of my servant David.
20:6 And I will add unto your days fifteen years; and I will deliver you
and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this
city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
20:7 이사야가 가로되 무화과 반죽을 가져오라 하매 무리가 가져다가 그 종처에
놓으니 나으니라
20:7 Then Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. So they took it and put it on his wound,
and he got better.
20:7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the
boil, and he recovered.
20:8 ○ 히스기야가 이사야에게 이르되 여호와께서 나를 낫게 하시고 삼 일 만에
여호와의 전에 올라가게 하실 무슨 징조가 있나이까
20:8 And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, What is to be the sign that the Lord will make me well,
and that I will go up to the house of the Lord on the third day?
20:8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD
will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?
20:9 이사야가 가로되 여호와의 하신 말씀을 응하게 하실 일에 대하여 여호와께로서
왕에게 한 징조가 임하리이다 해 그림자가 십 도를 나아갈 것이니이까 혹 십 도를
물러갈 것이니이까
20:9 And Isaiah said, This is the sign the Lord will give you, that he will do what he
has said; will the shade go forward ten degrees or back?
20:9 And Isaiah said, This sign shall you have of the LORD, that the LORD
will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees,
or go back ten degrees?
20:10 히스기야가 대답하되 그림자가 십 도를 나아가기는 쉬우니 그리할 것이
아니라 십 도가 물러갈 것이니이다
20:10 And Hezekiah said in answer, It is a simple thing for the shade to go forward; but
let it go back ten degrees.
20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down
ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
20:11 선지자 이사야가 여호와께 간구하매 아하스의 일영표 위에 나아갔던 해
그림자로 십 도를 물러가게 하셨더라
20:11 Then Isaiah the prophet made prayer to the Lord, and he made the shade go back ten
degrees from its position on the steps of Ahaz.
20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow
ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
20:12 ○ 그 때에 발라단의 아들 바벨론 왕 부로닥발라단이 히스기야가 병들었다
함을 듣고 편지와 예물을 저에게 보낸지라
20:12 At that time, Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters
with an offering to Hezekiah, because he had news that Hezekiah had been ill.
20:12 At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon,
sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had
been sick.
20:13 히스기야가 사자의 말을 듣고 자기 보물고의 금은과 향품과 보배로운 기름과
그 군기고와 내탕고의 모든 것을 다 사자에게 보였는데 무릇 왕궁과 그 나라 안에
있는 것을 저에게 보이지 아니한 것이 없으니라
20:13 And Hezekiah was glad at their coming and let them see all his store of wealth,
the silver and the gold and the spices and the oil of great price, and the house
of his arms, and everything there was in his stores; there was nothing in all his
house or his kingdom which Hezekiah did not let them see.
20:13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of
his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious
ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures:
there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed
them not.
20:14 선지자 이사야가 히스기야 왕에게 나아와서 이르되 이 사람들이 무슨 말을
하였으며 어디서부터 왕에게 왔나이까 히스기야가 가로되 먼 지방 바벨론에서 왔나이다
20:14 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, What did these men
say and where did they come from? And Hezekiah said, They came from a far country,
even from Babylon.
20:14 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him,
What said these men? and from whence came they unto you? And Hezekiah said,
They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.
20:15 이사야가 가로되 저희가 왕궁에서 무엇을 보았나이까 히스기야가 대답하되
내 궁에 있는 것을 저희가 다 보았나니 나의 내탕고에서 하나도 보이지 아니한 것이
없나이다
20:15 And he said, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah said in answer, They
saw everything in my house: there is nothing among my stores which I did not let
them see.
20:15 And he said, What have they seen in yours house? And Hezekiah answered,
All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among
my treasures that I have not showed them.
20:16 ○ 이사야가 히스기야에게 이르되 여호와의 말씀을 들으소서
20:16 And Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Give ear to the word of the Lord.
20:16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.
20:17 여호와의 말씀이 날이 이르리니 무릇 왕궁의 모든 것과 왕의 열조가 오늘까지
쌓아 두었던 것을 바벨론으로 옮긴 바 되고 하나도 남지 아니할 것이요
20:17 Truly, days are coming when everything in your house, and whatever your fathers
have put in store till this day, will be taken away to Babylon: all will be gone,
says the Lord.
20:17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in yours house, and that which
your fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon:
nothing shall be left, says the LORD.
20:18 또 왕의 몸에서 날 아들 중에서 사로잡혀 바벨론 왕궁의 환관이 되리라
하셨나이다
20:18 And your sons, the offspring of your body, they will take away to be unsexed servants
in the house of the king of Babylon.
20:18 And of your sons that shall issue from you, which you shall brought
forth, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the
king of Babylon.
20:19 히스기야가 이사야에게 이르되 당신의 전한 바 여호와의 말씀이 선하니이다
하고 또 가로되 만일 나의 사는 날에 태평과 진실이 있을진대 어찌 선하지 아니하리요
하니라
20:19 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which you have said.
Then he said, ... if in my time there is peace and righteousness?
20:19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which
you have spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?
20:20 히스기야의 남은 사적과 그 모든 권력과 못과 수도를 만들어 물을 성중으로
인도하여 들인 일은 유다 왕 역대 지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
20:20 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his power, and how he made the pool and
the stream, to take water into the town, are they not recorded in the book of the
history of the kings of Judah?
20:20 And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he
made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written
in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
20:21 히스기야가 그 열조와 함께 자고 그 아들 므낫세가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
20:21 And Hezekiah went to rest with his fathers; and Manasseh his son became king in
his place.
20:21 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in
his position.
21:1 므낫세가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십 이 세라 예루살렘에서 오십 오 년을 치리하니라
그 모친의 이름은 헵시바더라
21:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king; for fifty-five years he was ruling
in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Hephzi-bah.
21:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty
and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.
21:2 므낫세가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서
쫓아내신 이방 사람의 가증한 일을 본받아서
21:2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, copying the disgusting ways of those nations
whom the Lord had sent out before the children of Israel.
21:2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations
of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
21:3 그 부친 히스기야의 헐어 버린 산당을 다시 세우며 이스라엘 왕 아합의 소위를
본받아 바알을 위하여 단을 쌓으며 아세라 목상을 만들며 하늘의 일월성신을 숭배하여
섬기며
21:3 He put up again the high places which had been pulled down by Hezekiah his father;
he made altars for Baal, and an Asherah, as Ahab, king of Israel, had done; he was
a worshipper and servant of all the stars of heaven.
21:3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had
destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king
of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
21:4 여호와께서 전에 이르시기를 내가 내 이름을 예루살렘에 두리라 하신 여호와의
전의 단들을 쌓고
21:4 And he put up altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem
will I put my name.
21:4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said,
In Jerusalem will I put my name.
21:5 또 여호와의 전 두 마당에 하늘의 일월성신을 위하여 단들을 쌓고
21:5 And he put up altars for all the stars of heaven in the two outer squares of the
house of the Lord.
21:5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of
the house of the LORD.
21:6 또 그 아들을 불 가운데로 지나게 하며 점치며 사술을 행하며 신접한 자와
박수를 신임하여 여호와 보시기에 악을 많이 행하여 그 진노를 격발하였으며
21:6 And he made his son go through the fire, and made use of secret arts and signs for
reading the future; he gave positions to those who had control of spirits and to
wonder-workers; he did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, moving him to wrath.
21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used
enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness
in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
21:7 또 자기가 만든 아로새긴 아세라 목상을 전에 세웠더라 옛적에 여호와께서
이 전에 대하여 다윗과 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르시기를 내가 이스라엘 모든 지파
중에서 택한 이 전과 예루살렘에 내 이름을 영원히 둘지라
21:7 He put the image of Asherah which he had made in the house of which the Lord had
said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, the town
which I have made mine out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name for ever.
21:7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house,
of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and
in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my
name for ever:
21:8 만일 이스라엘이 나의 모든 명령과 나의 종 모세의 명한 모든 율법을 지켜
행하면 내가 그들의 발로 다시는 그 열조에게 준 땅에서 떠나 유리하지 않게 하리라
하셨으나
21:8 And never again will I send the feet of Israel wandering from the land which I gave
to their fathers; if only they will take care to do all my orders, and keep all
the law which my servant Moses gave them.
21:8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land
which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all
that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses
commanded them.
21:9 이 백성이 듣지 아니하였고 므낫세의 꾀임을 받고 악을 행한 것이 여호와께서
이스라엘 자손 앞에서 멸하신 열방보다 더욱 심하였더라
21:9 But they did not give ear; and Manasseh made them do more evil than those nations
did, whom the Lord gave up to destruction before the children of Israel.
21:9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than
did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
21:10 ○ 여호와께서 그 종 모든 선지자들로 말씀하여 가라사대
21:10 And the Lord said, by his servants the prophets,
21:10 And the LORD spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
21:11 유다 왕 므낫세가 이 가증한 일과 악을 행함이 그 전에 있던 아모리 사람의
행위보다 더욱 심하였고 또 그 우상으로 유다를 범죄케 하였도다
21:11 Because Manasseh, king of Judah, has done these disgusting things, doing more evil
than all the Amorites before him, and making Judah do evil with his false gods,
21:11 Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has
done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and has
made Judah also to sin with his idols:
21:12 그러므로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와가 말하노니 내가 이제 예루살렘과 유다에
재앙을 내리리니 듣는 자마다 두 귀가 울리리라
21:12 For this cause, says the Lord, the God of Israel, I will send such evil on Jerusalem
and Judah that the ears of all to whom the news comes will be burning.
21:12 Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such
evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever hears of it, both his ears shall
tingle.
21:13 내가 사마리아를 잰 줄과 아합의 집을 다림보던 추로 예루살렘에 베풀고
또 사람이 그릇을 씻어 엎음 같이 예루살렘을 씻어 버릴지라
21:13 And over Jerusalem will be stretched the line of Samaria and the weight of Ahab;
Jerusalem will be washed clean as a plate is washed, and turned over on its face.
21:13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet
of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping
it, and turning it upside down.
21:14 내가 나의 기업에서 남은 자를 버려 그 대적의 손에 붙인즉 저희가 모든
대적에게 노략과 겁탈이 되리니
21:14 And I will put away from me the rest of my heritage, and give them up into the hands
of their haters, who will take their property and their goods for themselves;
21:14 And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them
into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to
all their enemies;
21:15 이는 애굽에서 나온 그 열조 때부터 오늘까지 나의 보기에 악을 행하여
나의 노를 격발하였음이니라 하셨더라
21:15 Because they have done evil in my eyes, moving me to wrath, from the day when their
fathers came out of Egypt till this day.
21:15 Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked
me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto
this day.
21:16 ○ 므낫세가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 유다로 범하게 한 그 죄 외에
또 무죄한 자의 피를 심히 많이 흘려 예루살렘 이 가에서 저 가까지 가득하게 하였더라
21:16 More than this, Manasseh took the lives of upright men, till Jerusalem from one
end to the other was full of blood; in addition to his sin in making Judah do evil
in the eyes of the Lord.
21:16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled
Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to
sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
21:17 므낫세의 남은 사적과 무릇 그 행한 바와 범한 죄는 유다 왕 역대 지략에
기록되지 아니하였느냐
21:17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all he did, and his sins, are they not
recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
21:17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his
sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Judah?
21:18 므낫세가 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 궁궐 동산 곧 웃사의 동산에 장사되고
그 아들 아몬이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
21:18 So Manasseh went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in the garden
of his house, in the garden of Uzza; and Amon his son became king in his place.
21:18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of
his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his position.
21:19 ○ 아몬이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 이 세라 예루살렘에서 이 년을 치리하니라
그 모친의 이름은 므술레멧이라 욧바 하루스의 딸이더라
21:19 Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, ruling in Jerusalem for two years;
his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
21:19 Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned
two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter
of Haruz of Jotbah.
21:20 아몬이 그 부친 므낫세의 행함 같이 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하되
21:20 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as Manasseh his father had done.
21:20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father
Manasseh did.
21:21 그 부친의 행한 모든 길로 행하여 그 부친의 섬기던 우상을 섬겨 경배하고
21:21 He went in all the ways of his father, being a servant and worshipper of the false
gods to which his father had been a servant;
21:21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served
the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
21:22 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 버리고 그 길로 행치 아니하더니
21:22 Turning away from the Lord, the God of his fathers, and not walking in his ways.
21:22 And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way
of the LORD.
21:23 그 신복들이 반역하여 왕을 궁중에서 죽이매
21:23 And the servants of Amon made a secret design against him, and put the king to death
in his house.
21:23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in
his own house.
21:24 그 국민이 아몬 왕을 반역한 사람들을 다 죽이고 그 아들 요시야로 대신하여
왕을 삼았더라
21:24 But the people of the land put to death all those who had taken part in the design
against the king, and made Josiah his son king in his place.
21:24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against
king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his position.
21:25 아몬의 행한 바 남은 사적은 유다 왕 역대 지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
21:25 Now the rest of the acts which Amon did, are they not recorded in the book of the
history of the kings of Judah?
21:25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written
in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
21:26 아몬이 웃시야의 동산 자기 묘실에 장사되고 그 아들 요시야가 대신하여
왕이 되니라
21:26 He was put in his last resting-place in the garden of Uzza, and Josiah his son became
king in his place.
21:26 And he was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his
son reigned in his position.
22:1 요시야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 팔 세라 예루살렘에서 삼십 일 년을 치리하니라
그 모친의 이름은 여디다라 보스갓 아다야의 딸이더라
22:1 Josiah was eight years old when he became king; and he was ruling in Jerusalem for
thirty-one years; his mother's name was Jedidah, daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath.
22:1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty
and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah, the daughter
of Adaiah of Boscath.
22:2 요시야가 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여 그 조상 다윗의 모든 길로 행하고
좌우로 치우치지 아니하였더라
22:2 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the ways of David his
father, without turning to the right hand or to the left.
22:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked
in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or
to the left.
22:3 ○ 요시야 왕 십 팔 년에 왕이 므술람의 손자 아살리야의 아들 서기관 사반을
여호와의 전에 보내며 가로되
22:3 Now in the eighteenth year after he became king, Josiah sent Shaphan, the son of
Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the Lord, saying to him,
22:3 And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the
king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the
house of the LORD, saying,
22:4 너는 대제사장 힐기야에게 올라가서 백성이 여호와의 전에 드린 은 곧 문
지킨 자가 수납한 은을 계수하여
22:4 Go up to Hilkiah, the chief priest, and let him give out the money which is taken
into the house of the Lord, which the keepers of the door have got together from
the people;
22:4 Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is
brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered
of the people:
22:5 여호와의 전 역사 감독자의 손에 붙여 저희로 여호와의 전에 있는 공장에게
주어 전의 퇴락한 것을 수리하게 하되
22:5 And let it be given to the overseers of the work of the Lord's house, to give to
the workmen who are making good what was damaged in the house of the Lord;
22:5 And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that
have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers
of the work which is in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the
house,
22:6 곧 목수와 건축자와 미장이에게 주게 하고 또 재목과 다듬은 돌을 사서 그
전을 수리하게 하라 하니라
22:6 To the woodworkers and the builders and the stone-cutters; and for getting wood
and cut stones for the building up of the house.
22:6 Unto carpenters, and builders, and stone workers, and to buy timber
and hewn stone to repair the house.
22:7 그러나 저희 손에 붙인 은을 회계하지 아니하였으니 이는 그 행하는 것이
진실함이었더라
22:7 They did not have to give any account of the money which was handed to them, for
they made use of it with good faith.
22:7 Nevertheless there was no reckoning made with them of the money that
was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
22:8 ○ 대제사장 힐기야가 서기관 사반에게 이르되 내가 여호와의 전에서 율법책을
발견하였노라 하고 그 책을 사반에게 주니 사반이 읽으니라
22:8 Then Hilkiah, the chief priest, said to Shaphan the scribe, I have made discovery
of the book of the law in the house of the Lord. So Hilkiah gave it to Shaphan;
22:8 And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found
the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan,
and he read it.
22:9 서기관 사반이 왕에게 돌아가서 복명하여 가로되 왕의 신복들이 전에 있던
돈을 쏟아 여호와의 전 역사 감독자의 손에 붙였나이다 하고
22:9 Then, after reading it, Shaphan the scribe went in to the king and gave him an account
of what had been done, saying, Your servants have given out the money which was
in the house, and have given it to the overseers of the work of the house of the
Lord.
22:9 And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again,
and said, Your servants have gathered the money that was found in the house,
and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the
oversight of the house of the LORD.
22:10 또 왕에게 고하여 가로되 제사장 힐기야가 내게 책을 주더이다 하고 왕의
앞에서 읽으매
22:10 Then Shaphan the scribe said to the king, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book;
and he was reading it before the king.
22:10 And Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest
has delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
22:11 왕이 율법책의 말을 듣자 곧 그 옷을 찢으니라
22:11 And the king, hearing the words of the book of the law, took his robe in his hands,
violently parting it as a sign of his grief;
22:11 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book
of the law, that he rent his clothes.
22:12 왕이 제사장 힐기야와 사반의 아들 아히감과 미가야의 아들 악볼과 서기관
사반과 왕의 시신 아사야에게 명하여 가로되
22:12 And he gave orders to Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, and Achbor,
the son of Micaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,
22:12 And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan,
and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant
of the king's, saying,
22:13 너희는 가서 나와 백성과 온 유다를 위하여 이 발견한 책의 말씀에 대하여
여호와께 물으라 우리 열조가 이 책의 말씀을 듣지 아니하며 이 책에 우리를 위하여
기록된 모든 것을 준행치 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 우리에게 발하신 진노가 크도다
22:13 Go and get directions from the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah,
about the words of this book which has come to light; for great is the wrath of
the Lord which is burning against us, because our fathers have not given ear to
the words of this book, to do all the things which are recorded in it.
22:13 Go all of you, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and
for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is
the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not
hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is
written concerning us.
22:14 ○ 이에 제사장 힐기야와 또 아히감과 악볼과 사반과 아사야가 여선지 훌다에게로
나아가니 저는 할하스의 손자 디과의 아들 예복을 주관하는 살룸의 아내라 예루살렘
둘째 구역에 거하였더라 저희가 더불어 말하매
22:14 So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam and Achbor and Shaphan and Asaiah, went to Huldah
the woman prophet, the wife of Shallum, the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper
of the robes, (now she was living in Jerusalem, in the second part of the town;)
and they had talk with her.
22:14 So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah,
went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the
son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;)
and they communed with her.
22:15 훌다가 저희에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 너희는 너희를
내게 보낸 사람에게 고하기를
22:15 And she said to them, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, Say to the man who sent
you to me,
22:15 And she said unto them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Tell the
man that sent you to me,
22:16 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이곳과 그 거민에게 재앙을 내리되 곧 유다 왕의
읽은 책의 모든 말대로 하리니
22:16 These are the words of the Lord: See, I will send evil on this place and on its
people, even everything which the king of Judah has been reading in the book;
22:16 Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and
upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king
of Judah has read:
22:17 이는 이 백성이 나를 버리고 다른 신에게 분향하며 그 손의 모든 소위로
나의 노를 격발하였음이라 그러므로 나의 이곳을 향하여 발한 진노가 꺼지지 아니하리라
하라 하셨느니라
22:17 Because they have given me up, burning offerings to other gods and moving me to
wrath by all the work of their hands; so my wrath will be on fire against this place,
and will not be put out.
22:17 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods,
that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore
my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.
22:18 너희를 보내어 여호와께 묻게 한 유다 왕에게는 너희가 이렇게 고하라 이스라엘
하나님 여호와의 말씀이 네가 들은 말을 의논컨대
22:18 But to the king of Judah who sent you to get directions from the Lord, say, This
is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said: As to the words which have come to
your ears,
22:18 But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus
shall all of you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, As concerning
the words which you have heard;
22:19 내가 이곳과 그 거민에게 대하여 빈 터가 되고 저주가 되리라 한 말을 네가
듣고 마음이 연하여 여호와 앞 곧 내 앞에서 겸비하여 옷을 찢고 통곡하였으므로
나도 네 말을 들었노라 여호와가 말하였느니라
22:19 Because your heart was soft, and you made yourself low before me, when you had word
of what I said against this place and its people, that they would become a waste
and a curse, and you gave signs of grief, weeping before me: truly, I have given
ear to you, says the Lord.
22:19 Because yours heart was tender, and you have humbled yourself before
the LORD, when you heard what I spoke against this place, and against the inhabitants
thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have rent your
clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard you, says the LORD.
22:20 그러므로 내가 너로 너의 열조에게 돌아가서 평안히 묘실로 들어가게 하리니
내가 이곳에 내리는 모든 재앙을 네가 눈으로 보지 못하리라 하셨느니라 사자들이
왕에게 복명하니라
22:20 For this cause I will let you go to your fathers and be put in your last resting-place
in peace, and your eyes will not see all the evil which I will send on this place.
So they took this news back to the king.
22:20 Behold therefore, I will gather you unto your fathers, and you shall
be gathered into your grave in peace; and yours eyes shall not see all the evil
which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
23:1 왕이 보내어 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 장로를 자기에게로 모으고
23:1 Then the king sent and got together all the responsible men of Judah and of Jerusalem.
23:1 And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah
and of Jerusalem.
23:2 이에 여호와의 전에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 거민과 제사장들과
선지자들과 모든 백성이 무론노소하고 다 왕과 함께 한지라 왕이 여호와의 전 안에서
발견한 언약책의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
23:2 And the king went up to the house of the Lord, with all the men of Judah and all
the people of Jerusalem, and the priests and the prophets and all the people, small
and great; and they were present at his reading of the book of the law which had
come to light in the house of the Lord.
23:2 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of
Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the
prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears
all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the
LORD.
23:3 왕이 대 위에 서서 여호와 앞에서 언약을 세우되 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여
여호와를 순종하고 그 계명과 법도와 율례를 지켜 이 책에 기록된 이 언약의 말씀을
이루게 하리라 하매 백성이 다 그 언약을 좇기로 하니라
23:3 And the king took his place by the pillar, and made an agreement before the Lord,
to go in the way of the Lord, and keep his orders and his decisions and his rules
with all his heart and all his soul, and to keep the words of the agreement recorded
in the book; and all the people gave their word to keep the agreement.
23:3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD,
to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and
his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of
this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the
covenant.
23:4 ○ 왕이 대제사장 힐기야와 모든 버금 제사장들과 문을 지킨 자들에게 명하여
바알과 아세라와 하늘의 일월성신을 위하여 만든 모든 기명을 여호와의 전에서 내어다가
예루살렘 바깥 기드론 밭에서 불사르고 그 재를 벧엘로 가져가게 하고
23:4 Then the king gave orders to Hilkiah, the chief priest, and to the priests of the
second order, and to the keepers of the door, to take out of the house of the Lord
all the vessels made for Baal and for the Asherah and for all the stars of heaven;
and he had them burned outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and took the dust
of them to Beth-el.
23:4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the
second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple
of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and
for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields
of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
23:5 옛적에 유다 왕들이 세워서 유다 모든 고을과 예루살렘 사면 산당에서 분향하며
우상을 섬기게 한 제사장들을 폐하며 또 바알과 해와 달과 열 두 궁성과 하늘의 모든
별에게 분향하는 자들을 폐하고
23:5 And he put an end to the false priests, who had been put in their positions by the
kings of Judah to see to the burning of offerings in the high places in the towns
of Judah and the outskirts of Jerusalem, and all those who made offerings to Baal
and to the sun and the moon and the twelve signs and all the stars of heaven.
23:5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had
ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the
places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the
sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
23:6 또 여호와의 전에서 아세라 상을 내어 예루살렘 바깥 기드론 시내로 가져다가
거기서 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들어 그 가루를 평민의 묘지에 뿌리고
23:6 And he took the Asherah from the house of the Lord, outside Jerusalem to the stream
Kidron, burning it by the stream and crushing it to dust, and he put the dust on
the place where the bodies of the common people were put to rest.
23:6 And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem,
unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small
to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the
people.
23:7 또 여호와의 전 가운데 미동의 집을 헐었으니 그 곳은 여인이 아세라를 위하여
휘장을 짜는 처소이었더라
23:7 And he had the houses pulled down of those who were used for sex purposes in the
house of the Lord, where women were making robes for the Asherah.
23:7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house
of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
23:8 또 유다 각 성읍에서 모든 제사장을 불러오고 또 제사장이 분향하던 산당을
게바에서부터 브엘세바까지 더럽게 하고 또 성문의 산당들을 헐어 버렸으니 이 산당들은
부윤 여호수아의 대문 어구 곧 성문 왼편에 있었더라
23:8 And he made all the priests from the towns of Judah come into Jerusalem, and he
made unclean the high places where the priests had been burning offerings, from
Geba to Beer-sheba; and he had the high places of the evil spirits pulled down which
were by the doorway of Joshua, the ruler of the town, on the left side of the way
into the town.
23:8 And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled
the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba,
and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of
the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand
at the gate of the city.
23:9 산당의 제사장들은 예루살렘 여호와의 단에 올라가지 못하고 다만 그 형제
중에서 무교병을 먹을 뿐이었더라
23:9 Still the priests of the high places never came up to the altar of the Lord in Jerusalem;
but they took their food of unleavened bread among their brothers.
23:9 Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the altar
of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their
brethren.
23:10 왕이 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기의 도벳을 더럽게 하여 사람으로 몰록에게 드리기
위하여 그 자녀를 불로 지나가게 하지 못하게 하고
23:10 And Topheth, in the valley of the sons of Hinnom, he made unclean, so that no man
might make his son or his daughter go through the fire to Molech.
23:10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom,
that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
23:11 또 유다 열왕이 태양을 위하여 드린 말들을 제하여 버렸으니 이 말들은
여호와의 전으로 들어가는 곳의 근처 시종 나단멜렉의 집 곁에 있던 것이며 또 태양
수레를 불사르고
23:11 And he took away the horses which the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the
way into the house of the Lord, by the room of Nathan-melech, the unsexed servant,
which was in the outer part of the building, and the carriages of the sun he put
on fire.
23:11 And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the
sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech
the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun
with fire.
23:12 유다 열왕이 아하스의 다락 지붕에 세운 단들과 므낫세가 여호와의 전 두
마당에 세운 단들을 왕이 다 헐고 거기서 빻아내려서 그 가루를 기드론 시내에 쏟아 버리고
23:12 And the altars on the roof of the high room of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had
made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two outer squares of the house
of the Lord, were pulled down and crushed to bits, and the dust of them was put
into the stream Kidron.
23:12 And the altars that were on the top of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which
the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two
courts of the house of the LORD, did the king beat down, and brake them down
from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.
23:13 또 예루살렘 앞 멸망 산 우편에 세운 산당을 더럽게 하였으니 이는 옛적에
이스라엘 왕 솔로몬이 시돈 사람의 가증한 아스다롯과 모압 사람의 가증한 그모스와
암몬 자손의 가증한 밀곰을 위하여 세웠던 것이며
23:13 And the high places before Jerusalem, on the south side of the mountain of destruction,
which Solomon, king of Israel, had made for Ashtoreth, the disgusting god of the
Zidonians, and for Chemosh, the disgusting god of Moab, and for Milcom, the disgusting
god of the children of Ammon, the king made unclean.
23:13 And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right
hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had built
for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination
of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did
the king defile.
23:14 왕이 또 석상들을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상들을 찍고 사람의 해골로 그 곳에
채웠더라
23:14 The stone pillars were broken to bits and the wood pillars cut down, and the places
where they had been were made full of the bones of the dead.
23:14 And he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves, and filled
their places with the bones of men.
23:15 ○ 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암이 벧엘에 세운 단과 산당을
왕이 헐고 또 그 산당을 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들며 또 아세라 목상을 불살랐더라
23:15 And the altar at Beth-el, and the high place put up by Jeroboam, the son of Nebat,
who made Israel do evil, that altar and that high place were pulled down; and the
high place was burned and crushed to dust and the Asherah was burned.
23:15 Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam
the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the
high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to
powder, and burned the grove.
23:16 요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 산에 있는 묘실들을 보고 보내어 그 묘실에서 해골을
취하여다가 단 위에 불살라 그 단을 더럽게 하니라 이 일을 하나님의 사람이 전하였더니
그 전한 여호와의 말씀대로 되었더라
23:16 Then Josiah, turning round, saw on the mountain the places of the dead, and he sent
and had the bones taken out of their places and burned on the altar, so making it
unclean, as the Lord had said by the man of God when Jeroboam was in his place by
the altar on that feast-day. And he, turning his eyes to the resting-place of the
man of God who had given word of these things, said:
23:16 And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchers that were there
in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchers, and burned
them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which
the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
23:17 요시야가 이르되 내게 보이는 저것은 무슨 비석이냐 성읍 사람들이 고하되
왕께서 벧엘의 단에 향하여 행하신 이 일을 전하러 유다에서 왔던 하나님의 사람의
묘실이니이다
23:17 What is that headstone I see over there? And the men of the town said to him, It
is the resting-place of the man of God who came from Judah and gave word of all
these things which you have done to the altar of Beth-el.
23:17 Then he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city
told him, It is the tomb of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed
these things that you have done against the altar of Bethel.
23:18 가로되 그대로 두고 그 뼈를 옮기지 말라 하매 무리가 그 뼈와 사마리아에서
온 선지자의 뼈는 그대로 두었더라
23:18 So he said, Let him be; let not his bones be moved. So they let his bones be with
the bones of the prophet who came from Samaria.
23:18 And he said, Let him alone; let no man move his bones. So they let
his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
23:19 전에 이스라엘 열왕이 사마리아 각 성읍에 지어서 여호와의 노를 격발한
산당을 요시야가 다 제하되 벧엘에서 행한 모든 일대로 행하고
23:19 Then Josiah took away all the houses of the high places in the towns of Samaria,
which the kings of Israel had put up, moving the Lord to wrath, and he did with
them as he had done in Beth-el.
23:19 And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities
of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke the Lord to anger,
Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done
in Bethel.
23:20 또 거기 있는 산당의 제사장들을 다 단 위에서 죽이고 사람의 해골을 단
위에 불사르고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
23:20 And all the priests of the high places there he put to death on the altars, burning
the bones of the dead on them; and then he went back to Jerusalem.
23:20 And he slew all the priests of the high places that were there upon
the altars, and burned men's bones upon them, and returned to Jerusalem.
23:21 ○ 왕이 뭇 백성에게 명하여 가로되 이 언약책에 기록된 대로 너희의 하나님
여호와를 위하여 유월절을 지키라 하매
23:21 And the king gave orders to all the people, saying, Keep the Passover to the Lord
your God, as it says in this book of the law.
23:21 And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto
the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.
23:22 사사가 이스라엘을 다스리던 시대부터 이스라엘 열왕의 시대에든지 유다
열왕의 시대에든지 이렇게 유월절을 지킨 일이 없었더니
23:22 Truly, such a Passover had not been kept in all the days of the judges of Israel
or of the kings of Israel or the kings of Judah;
23:22 Surely there was not held such a passover from the days of the judges
that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings
of Judah;
23:23 요시야 왕 십 팔 년에 예루살렘에서 여호와 앞에 이 유월절을 지켰더라
23:23 In the eighteenth year of the rule of King Josiah this Passover was kept to the
Lord in Jerusalem.
23:23 But in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, wherein this passover was
held to the LORD in Jerusalem.
23:24 ○ 요시야가 또 유다 땅과 예루살렘에 보이는 신접한 자와 박수와 드라빔과
우상과 모든 가증한 것을 다 제하였으니 이는 대제사장 힐기야가 여호와의 전에서
발견한 책에 기록된 율법 말씀을 이루려 함이라
23:24 And all those who had control of spirits, and the wonder-workers, and the images,
and the false gods, and all the disgusting things which were seen in the land of
Judah and in Jerusalem, Josiah put away, so that he might give effect to the words
of the agreement recorded in the book which Hilkiah the priest made discovery of
in the house of the Lord.
23:24 Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the
images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land
of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words
of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the
house of the LORD.
23:25 요시야와 같이 마음을 다하며 성품을 다하며 힘을 다하여 여호와를 향하여
모세의 모든 율법을 온전히 준행한 임금은 요시야 전에도 없었고 후에도 그와 같은
자가 없었더라
23:25 Never before had there been a king like him, turning to the Lord with all his heart
and with all his soul and with all his power, as the law of Moses says; and after
him there was no king like him.
23:25 And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the
LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according
to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
23:26 ○ 그러나 여호와께서 유다를 향하여 진노하신 그 크게 타오르는 진노를
돌이키지 아니하셨으니 이는 므낫세가 여호와를 격노케 한 그 모든 격노를 인함이라
23:26 But still the heat of the Lord's wrath was not turned back from Judah, because of
all Manasseh had done in moving him to wrath.
23:26 Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from the fierceness of his great
wrath, wherewith his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations
that Manasseh had provoked him likewise.
23:27 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 이스라엘을 물리친 것 같이 유다도 내 앞에서
물리치며 내가 뺀 이 성 예루살렘과 내 이름을 거기 두리라 한 이 전을 버리리라
하셨더라
23:27 And the Lord said, I will send Judah away from before my face, as I have sent Israel;
I will have nothing more to do with this town, which I had made mine, even Jerusalem,
and the holy house of which I said, My name will be there.
23:27 And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have
removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and
the house of which I said, My name shall be there.
23:28 ○ 요시야의 남은 사적과 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대 지략에 기록되지
아니하였느냐

23:29 요시야 당시에 애굽 왕 바로느고가 앗수르 왕을 치고자 하여 유브라데 하수로
올라가므로 요시야 왕이 나가서 방비하더니 애굽 왕이 요시야를 므깃도에서 만나
본 후에 죽인지라
23:29 In his days, Pharaoh-necoh, king of Egypt, sent his armies against the king of Assyria
to the river Euphrates; and King Josiah went out against him; and he put him to
death at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
23:29 In his days Pharaohnechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of
Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew
him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
23:30 신복들이 그 시체를 병거에 싣고 므깃도에서 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 그
묘실에 장사하니 국민이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 데려다가 저에게 기름을 붓고
그 부친을 대신하여 왕을 삼았더라
23:30 And his servants took his body in a carriage from Megiddo to Jerusalem, and put
him into the earth there. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz, the son of Josiah,
and put the holy oil on him and made him king in place of his father.
23:30 And his servants carried him in a chariot dead from Megiddo, and brought
him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land
took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his
father's position.
23:31 여호아하스가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 삼 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달을
치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 하무달이라 립나 예레미야의 딸이더라
23:31 Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, ruling in Jerusalem for
three months; his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
23:31 Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign; and
he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the
daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
23:32 여호아하스가 그 열조의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더니
23:32 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his fathers had done.
23:32 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according
to all that his fathers had done.
23:33 바로느고가 저를 하맛 땅 립나에 가두어 예루살렘에서 왕이 되지 못하게
하고 또 그 나라로 은 일백 달란트와 금 한 달란트를 벌금으로 내게 하고
23:33 And Pharaoh-necoh put him in chains at Riblah in the land of Hamath, so that he
might not be king in Jerusalem; and took from the land a tax of a hundred talents
of silver and a talent of gold.
23:33 And Pharaohnechoh put him in bands at Riblah in the land of Hamath,
that he might not reign in Jerusalem; and put the land to a tribute of an hundred
talents of silver, and a talent of gold.
23:34 바로느고가 요시야의 아들 엘리아김으로 그 아비 요시야를 대신하여 왕을
삼고 그 이름을 고쳐 여호야김이라 하고 여호아하스는 애굽으로 잡아갔더니 저가
거기서 죽으니라
23:34 Then Pharaoh-necoh made Eliakim, the son of Josiah, king in place of Josiah his
father, changing his name to Jehoiakim; but Jehoahaz he took away to Egypt, where
he was till his death.
23:34 And Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the room of
Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took Jehoahaz away:
and he came to Egypt, and died there.
23:35 여호야김이 은과 금을 바로에게 주니라 저가 바로느고의 명령대로 그에게
그 돈을 주기 위하여 나라에 부과하되 국민 각 사람의 힘대로 액수를 정하고 은금을
늑봉하였더라
23:35 And Jehoiakim gave the silver and gold to Pharaoh, taxing the land by his orders
to get the money; the people of the land had to give silver and gold, everyone as
he was taxed, to make the payment to Pharaoh-necoh.
23:35 And Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed
the land to give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted
the silver and the gold of the people of the land, of every one according to
his taxation, to give it unto Pharaohnechoh.
23:36 ○ 여호야김이 왕이 될 때에 나이 이십 오 세라 예루살렘에서 십 일 년을
치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 스비다라 루마 브다야의 딸이더라
23:36 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem
for eleven years; his mother's name was Zebidah, the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah.
23:36 Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign; and
he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zebudah, the
daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah.
23:37 여호야김이 그 열조의 모든 행한 일을 본받아 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
23:37 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord as his fathers had done.
23:37 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according
to all that his fathers had done.
24:1 여호야김 시대에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 올라오매 여호야김이 삼 년을 섬기다가
돌이켜 저를 배반하였더니
24:1 In his days, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came up and Jehoiakim was his servant
for three years; then he took up arms against him.
24:1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became
his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
24:2 여호와께서 그 종 선지자들로 하신 말씀과 같이 갈대아의 부대와 아람의
부대와 모압의 부대와 암몬 자손의 부대를 여호야김에게로 보내어 유다를 쳐 멸하려
하시니
24:2 And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldaeans and of the Edomites and of
the Moabites and of the children of Ammon; sending them against Judah for its destruction,
as he had said by his servants the prophets.
24:2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the
Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and
sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which
he spoke by his servants the prophets.
24:3 이 일이 유다에 임함은 곧 여호와의 명하신 바로 저희를 자기 앞에서 물리치고자
하심이니 이는 므낫세의 지은 모든 죄로 인함이며
24:3 Only by the word of the Lord did this fate come on Judah, to take them away from
before his face; because of the sins of Manasseh and all the evil he did;
24:3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove
them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
24:4 또 저가 무죄한 자의 피를 흘려 그 피로 예루살렘에 가득하게 하였음이라
여호와께서 사하시기를 즐겨하지 아니하시니라
24:4 And because of the death of those who had done no wrong, for he made Jerusalem full
of the blood of the upright; and the Lord had no forgiveness for it.
24:4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem
with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
24:5 ○ 여호야김의 남은 사적과 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대 지략에 기록되지
아니하였느냐

24:6 여호야김이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 아들 여호야긴이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
24:6 So Jehoiakim went to rest with his fathers; and Jehoiachin his son became king in
his place.
24:6 So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned
in his position.
24:7 애굽 왕이 다시는 그 나라에서 나오지 못하였으니 이는 바벨론 왕이 애굽
하수에서부터 유브라데 하수까지 애굽 왕에게 속한 땅을 다 취하였음이더라
24:7 And the king of Egypt did not come out of his land again, for the king of Babylon
had taken all his country, from the stream of Egypt to the river Euphrates.
24:7 And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the
king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all
that pertained to the king of Egypt.
24:8 ○ 여호야긴이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십 팔 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달을 치리하니라

24:10 ○ 그 때에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 신복들이 예루살렘에 올라와서 그 성을
에워싸니라
24:10 At that time the armies of Nebuchadnezzar came up to Jerusalem and the town was
shut in on every side.
24:10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up
against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
24:11 그 신복들이 에워쌀 때에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살도 그 성에 이르니
24:11 And Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came there, while his servants were shutting
in the town;
24:11 And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants
did besiege it.
24:12 유다 왕 여호야긴이 그 모친과 신복과 방백들과 내시들과 함께 바벨론 왕에게
나아가매 왕이 잡으니 때는 바벨론 왕 팔 년이라
24:12 Then Jehoiachin, king of Judah, went out to the king of Babylon, with his mother
and his servants and his chiefs and his unsexed servants; and in the eighth year
of his rule the king of Babylon took him.
24:12 And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he,
and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the
king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
24:13 저가 여호와의 전의 모든 보물과 왕궁 보물을 집어내고 또 이스라엘 왕
솔로몬이 만든 것 곧 여호와의 전의 금 기명을 다 훼파하였으니 여호와의 말씀과
같이 되었더라
24:13 And he took away all the stored wealth of the Lord's house, and the goods from the
king's store-house, cutting up all the gold vessels which Solomon, king of Israel,
had made in the house of the Lord, as the Lord had said.
24:13 And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD,
and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of
gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the
LORD had said.
24:14 저가 또 예루살렘의 모든 백성과 모든 방백과 모든 용사 합 일만 명과 모든
공장과 대장장이를 사로잡아 가매 빈천한 자 외에는 그 땅에 남은 자가 없었더라
24:14 And he took away all the people of Jerusalem and all the chiefs and all the men
of war, ten thousand prisoners; and all the expert workmen and the metal-workers;
only the poorest sort of the people of the land were not taken away.
24:14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the
mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and
smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
24:15 저가 여호야긴을 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고 왕의 모친과 왕의 아내들과
내시와 나라에 권세 있는 자도 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고
24:15 He took Jehoiachin a prisoner to Babylon, with his mother and his wives and his
unsexed servants and the great men of the land; he took them all as prisoners from
Jerusalem to Babylon.
24:15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and
the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried
he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
24:16 또 용사 칠천과 공장과 대장장이 일천 곧 다 강장하여 싸움에 능한 자들을
바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고
24:16 And all the men of war, seven thousand of them, and a thousand expert workmen and
metal-workers, all of them strong and able to take up arms, the king of Babylon
took away as prisoners into Babylon.
24:16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths
a thousand, all that were strong and able for war, even them the king of Babylon
brought captive to Babylon.
24:17 바벨론 왕이 또 여호야긴의 아자비 맛다니야로 대신하여 왕을 삼고 그 이름을
고쳐 시드기야라 하였더라
24:17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah, his father's brother, king in place of Jehoiachin,
changing his name to Zedekiah.
24:17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in
his position, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
24:18 ○ 시드기야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 일 세라 예루살렘에서 십 일 년을

24:18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he was king in Jerusalem

이르렀더라 ○ 시드기야가 바벨론 왕을 배반하니라
24:20 And because of the wrath of the Lord, this came about in Jerusalem and Judah, till
he had sent them all away from before him: and Zedekiah took up arms against the
king of Babylon.
24:20 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and
Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled
against the king of Babylon.
25:1 시드기야 구 년 시 월 십 일에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 그 모든 군대를 거느리고
예루살렘을 치러 올라와서 진을 치고 사면으로 토성을 쌓으매
25:1 Now in the ninth year of his rule, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar,
king of Babylon, came against Jerusalem with all his army and took up his position
before it, building earthworks all round the town.
25:1 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month,
in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he,
and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built
forts against it round about.
25:2 성이 시드기야 왕 십 일 년까지 에워싸였더니
25:2 And the town was shut in by their forces till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
25:2 And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
25:3 그 사 월 구 일에 성중에 기근이 심하여 그 땅 백성의 양식이 진하였고
25:3 Now on the ninth day of the fourth month, the store of food in the town was almost
gone, so that there was no food for the people of the land.
25:3 And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the
city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
25:4 갈대아 사람이 그 성읍을 에워쌌으므로 성벽에 구멍을 뚫은지라 모든 군사가
밤중에 두 성벽 사이 왕의 동산 곁문 길로 도망하여 아라바 길로 가더니
25:4 So an opening was made in the wall of the town, and all the men of war went in flight
by night through the doorway between the two walls which was by the king's garden;
(now the Chaldaeans were stationed round the town:) and the king went by the way
of the Arabah.
25:4 And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by
the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the
Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward
the plain.
25:5 갈대아 군사가 왕을 쫓아가서 여리고 평지에 미치매 왕의 모든 군사가 저를
떠나 흩어진지라
25:5 But the Chaldaean army went after the king, and overtook him in the lowlands of
Jericho, and all his army went in flight from him in every direction.
25:5 And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him
in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.
25:6 갈대아 군사가 왕을 잡아 립나 바벨론 왕에게로 끌고 가매 저에게 신문하고
25:6 And they made the king a prisoner and took him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah
to be judged.
25:6 So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to
Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.
25:7 시드기야의 아들들을 저의 목전에서 죽이고 시드기야의 두 눈을 빼고 사슬로
결박하여 바벨론으로 끌어 갔더라
25:7 And they put the sons of Zedekiah to death before his eyes, and then they put out
his eyes, and chaining him with iron bands, took him to Babylon.
25:7 And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the
eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.
25:8 ○ 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 십 구 년 오 월 칠 일에 바벨론 왕의 신하 시위대
장관 느부사라단이 예루살렘에 이르러
25:8 Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, in the nineteenth year
of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, a
servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem;
25:8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the
nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain
of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:
25:9 여호와의 전과 왕궁을 사르고 예루살렘의 모든 집을 귀인의 집까지 불살랐으며
25:9 And he had the house of the Lord and the king's house and all the houses of Jerusalem,
even every great house, burned with fire;
25:9 And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the
houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.
25:10 시위대 장관을 좇는 갈대아 온 군대가 예루살렘 사면 성벽을 헐었으며
25:10 And the walls round Jerusalem were broken down by the Chaldaean army which was with
the captain.
25:10 And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the
guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.
25:11 성 중에 남아 있는 백성과 바벨론 왕에게 항복한 자와 무리의 남은 자는
시위대 장관 느부사라단이 다 사로잡아 가고
25:11 And the rest of the people who were still in the town, and all those who had given
themselves up to the king of Babylon, and all the rest of the workmen, Nebuzaradan,
the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners;
25:11 Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives
that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.
25:12 빈천한 국민을 그 땅에 남겨 두어 포도원을 다스리는 자와 농부가 되게
하였더라
25:12 But he let the poorest of the land go on living there, to take care of the vines
and the fields.
25:12 But the captain of the guard left of the door of the poor of the land
to be vinedressers and husbandmen.
25:13 ○ 갈대아 사람이 또 여호와의 전의 두 놋기둥과 받침들과 여호와의 전의
놋바다를 깨뜨려 그 놋을 바벨론으로 가져가고
25:13 And the brass pillars in the house of the Lord, and the wheeled bases, and the great
brass water-vessel in the house of the Lord, were broken up by the Chaldaeans, who
took the brass to Babylon.
25:13 And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the
bases, and the brazen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees
break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.
25:14 또 가마들과 부삽들과 불집게들과 숟가락들과 섬길 때에 쓰는 모든 놋그릇을
다 가져갔으며
25:14 And the pots and the spades and the scissors for the lights and the spoons, and
all the brass vessels used in the Lord's house, they took away.
25:14 And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and
all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
25:15 시위대 장관이 또 불 옮기는 그릇들과 주발들 곧 금물의 금과 은물의 은을
가져갔으며
25:15 And the fire-trays and the basins; the gold of the gold vessels and the silver of
the silver vessels, were all taken away by the captain of the armed men.
25:15 And the fire-pans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold,
in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.
25:16 또 솔로몬이 여호와의 전을 위하여 만든 두 기둥과 한 바다와 받침들을
취하였는데 이 모든 기구의 놋 중수를 헤아릴 수 없었으니
25:16 The two pillars, the great water-vessel and the wheeled bases, which Solomon had
made for the house of the Lord: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
25:16 The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for
the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
25:17 그 한 기둥은 고가 십 팔 규빗이요 그 꼭대기에 놋머리가 있어 고가 삼
규빗이요 그 머리에 둘린 그물과 석류가 다 놋이라 다른 기둥의 장식과 그물도 이와
같았더라
25:17 One of the pillars was eighteen cubits high, with a crown of brass on it; the crown
was three cubits high, circled with a network and apples all of brass; and the second
pillar had the same.
25:17 The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the capital upon
it was brass: and the height of the capital three cubits; and the interwoven
work, and pomegranates upon the capital round about, all of brass: and like
unto these had the second pillar with interwoven work.
25:18 ○ 시위대 장관이 대제사장 스라야와 부제사장 스바냐와 전 문지기 세 사람을 잡고
25:18 And the captain of the armed men took Seraiah, the chief priest, and Zephaniah,
the second priest, and the three door-keepers;
25:18 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah
the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
25:19 또 성 중에서 사람을 잡았으니 곧 군사를 거느린 내시 하나와 또 성 중에서
만난 바 왕의 시종 다섯 사람과 국민을 초모하는 장관의 서기관 하나와 성 중에서
만난 바 국민 육십 명이라
25:19 And from the town he took the unsexed servant who was over the men of war, and five
of the king's near friends who were in the town, and the scribe of the captain of
the army, who was responsible for getting the people of the land together in military
order, and sixty men of the people of the land who were in the town.
25:19 And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of
war, and five men of them that were in the king's presence, which were found
in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people
of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in
the city:
25:20 시위대 장관 느부사라단이 저희를 잡아 가지고 립나 바벨론 왕에게 나아가매
25:20 These Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took with him to the king of Babylon
at Riblah.
25:20 And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to
the king of Babylon to Riblah:
25:21 바벨론 왕이 하맛 땅 립나에서 다 쳐죽였더라 이와 같이 유다가 사로잡혀
본토에서 떠났더라
25:21 And the king of Babylon put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah
was taken away prisoner from his land.
25:21 And the king of Babylon stroke them, and slew them at Riblah in the
land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.
25:22 ○ 유다 땅에 머물러 있는 백성은 곧 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 남긴 자라
왕이 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그달리야로 관할하게 하였더라
25:22 As for the people who were still living in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar,
king of Babylon, did not take away, he made Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son
of Shaphan, ruler over them.
25:22 And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar
king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam,
the son of Shaphan, ruler.
25:23 모든 군대 장관과 그 좇는 자가 바벨론 왕이 그달리야로 방백을 삼았다
함을 듣고 이에 느다니야의 아들 이스마엘과 가레아의 아들 요하난과 느도바 사람
단후멧의 아들 스라야와 마아가 사람의 아들 야아사니야와 그 좇는 사람이 모두 미스바로
가서 그달리야에게 나아가매
25:23 Now the captains of the armed forces, hearing that the king of Babylon had made
Gedaliah ruler, came with their men to Gedaliah at Mizpah; Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah,
and Johanan, the son of Kareah, and Seraiah, the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite,
and Jaazaniah, the son of the Maacathite, came with all their men.
25:23 And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard
that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah
to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah,
and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of
a Maachathite, they and their men.
25:24 그달리야가 저희와 그 좇는 자들에게 맹세하여 이르되 너희는 갈대아 신복을
인하여 두려워 말고 이 땅에 거하여 바벨론 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 너희가 평안하리라
하니라
25:24 Then Gedaliah gave his oath to them and their men, saying, Have no fear because
of the servants of the Chaldaeans; go on living in the land under the rule of the
king of Babylon, and all will be well.
25:24 And Gedaliah swore to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear
not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king
of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
25:25 칠 월에 왕족 엘리사마의 손자 느다니야의 아들 이스마엘이 십 인을 거느리고
와서 그달리야를 쳐서 죽이고 또 저와 함께 미스바에 있는 유다 사람과 갈대아 사람을
죽인지라
25:25 But in the seventh month, Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of
the king's seed, came with ten men and made an attack on Gedaliah, causing his death
and the death of the Jews and the Chaldaeans who were with him at Mizpah.
25:25 But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah,
the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and stroke
Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at
Mizpah.
25:26 대소 백성과 군대 장관들이 다 일어나서 애굽으로 갔으니 이는 갈대아 사람을
두려워함이었더라
25:26 Then all the people, small and great, and the captains of the forces, got up and
went away to Egypt, for fear of the Chaldaeans.
25:26 And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies,
arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the Chaldees.
25:27 ○ 유다 왕 여호야긴이 사로잡혀 간 지 삼십 칠 년 곧 바벨론 왕 에윌므로닥의
즉위한 원년 십 이 월 이십 칠 일에 유다 왕 여호야긴을 옥에서 내어 놓아 그 머리를
들게 하고
25:27 And in the thirty-seventh year after Jehoiachin, king of Judah, had been taken prisoner,
in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, Evil-merodach, king
of Babylon, in the first year of his rule, took Jehoiachin, king of Judah, out of
prison;
25:27 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity
of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth
day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began
to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
25:28 선히 말하고 그 위를 바벨론에 저와 함께 있는 모든 왕의 위보다 높이고
25:28 And said kind words to him, and put his seat higher than the seats of the other
kings who were with him in Babylon.
25:28 And he spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of
the kings that were with him in Babylon;
25:29 그 죄수의 의복을 바꾸게 하고 그 일평생에 항상 왕의 앞에서 먹게 하였고
25:29 And his prison clothing was changed, and he was a guest at the king's table every
day for the rest of his life.
25:29 And changed his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before
him all the days of his life.
25:30 저의 쓸 것은 날마다 왕에게서 받는 정수가 있어서 종신토록 끊이지 아니하였더라
25:30 And for his food, the king gave him a regular amount every day for the rest of his
life.
25:30 And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king,
a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.
