18:1 레위 사람 제사장과 레위의 온 지파는 이스라엘 중에 분깃도 없고 기업도
없을지니 그들은 여호와의 화제물과 그 기업을 먹을 것이라
18:1 The priests, the Levites, that is, all the tribe of Levi, will have no part or heritage
with Israel: their food and their heritage will be the offerings of the Lord made
by fire.
18:1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part
nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by
fire, and his inheritance.
18:2 그들이 그 형제 중에 기업이 없을 것은 그들에게 대하여 말씀하심 같이 여호와께서
그들의 기업이 되심이니라
18:2 And they will have no heritage among their countrymen: the Lord is their heritage,
as he has said to them.
18:2 Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD
is their inheritance, as he has said unto them.
18:3 제사장이 백성에게서 받을 응식은 이러하니 곧 그 드리는 제물의 우양을
물론하고 그 앞 넓적다리와 두 볼과 위라 이것을 제사장에게 줄 것이요
18:3 And this is to be the priests' right: those who make an offering of a sheep or an
ox are to give to the priest the top part of the leg and the two sides of the head
and the stomach.
18:3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer
a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest
the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.
18:4 또 너의 처음 된 곡식과 포도주와 기름과 너의 처음 깍은 양털을 네가 그에게
줄 것이니
18:4 And in addition you are to give him the first of your grain and wine and oil, and
the first wool cut from your sheep.
18:4 The first-fruit also of your corn, of your wine, and of yours oil, and
the first of the fleece of your sheep, shall you give him.
18:5 이는 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 모든 지파 중에서 그를 택하여 내시고 그와
그의 자손으로 영영히 여호와의 이름으로 서서 섬기게 하셨음이니라
18:5 For he, and his sons after him for ever, have been marked out by the Lord your God
from all your tribes, to do the work of priests in the name of the Lord.
18:5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand
to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.
18:6 ○ 이스라엘 온 땅 어느 성읍에든지 거하는 레위인이 간절한 소원이 있어
그 거한 곳을 떠나 여호와의 택하신 곳에 이르면
18:6 And if a Levite, moved by a strong desire, comes from any town in all Israel where
he is living to the place marked out by the Lord;
18:6 And if a Levite come from any of your gates out of all Israel, where
he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which
the LORD shall choose;
18:7 여호와 앞에 선 그 형제 모든 레위인과 일반으로 그 하나님 여호와의 이름으로
섬길 수 있나니
18:7 Then he will do the work of a priest in the name of the Lord his God, with all his
brothers the Levites who are there before the Lord.
18:7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren
the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.
18:8 그 사람의 응식은 그들과 같을 것이요 그 상속 산업을 판 돈은 이외에 그에게
속할 것이니라
18:8 His food will be the same as theirs, in addition to what has come to him as the
price of his property.
18:8 They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which comes of the
sale of his patrimony.
18:9 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에 들어가거든 너는 그 민족들의
가증한 행위를 본받지 말 것이니
18:9 When you have come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, do not take
as your example the disgusting ways of those nations.
18:9 When you are come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you
shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
18:10 그 아들이나 딸을 불 가운데로 지나게 하는 자나 복술자나 길흉을 말하는
자나 요술하는 자나 무당이나
18:10 Let there not be seen among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter go through
the fire, or anyone using secret arts, or a maker of strange sounds, or a reader
of signs, or any wonder-worker,
18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of
times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
18:11 진언자나 신접자나 박수나 초혼자를 너의 중에 용납하지 말라
18:11 Or anyone using secret force on people, or putting questions to a spirit, or having
secret knowledge, or going to the dead for directions.
18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or
a necromancer.
18:12 무릇 이런 일을 행하는 자는 여호와께서 가증히 여기시나니 이런 가증한
일로 인하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내시느니라
18:12 For all who do such things are disgusting to the Lord; and because of these disgusting
things the Lord your God is driving them out before you.
18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and
because of these abominations the LORD your God does drive them out from before
you.
18:13 너는 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 완전하라
18:13 You are to be upright in heart before the Lord your God.
18:13 You shall be perfect with the LORD your God.
18:14 네가 쫓아낼 이 민족들은 길흉을 말하는 자나 복술자의 말을 듣거니와 네게는
네 하나님 여호와께서 이런 일을 용납지 아니하시느니라
18:14 For these nations, whose land you are taking, give attention to readers of signs
and to those using secret arts: but the Lord your God will not let you do so.
18:14 For these nations, which you shall possess, hearkened unto observers
of times, and unto diviners: but as for you, the LORD your God has not suffered
you so to do.
18:15 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 중 네 형제 중에서 나와 같은 선지자 하나를
너를 위하여 일으키시리니 너희는 그를 들을지니라
18:15 The Lord your God will give you a prophet from among your people, like me; you will
give ear to him;
18:15 The LORD your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of
you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him all of you shall hearken;
18:16 이것이 곧 네가 총회의 날에 호렙 산에서 너의 하나님 여호와께 구한 것이라
곧 네가 말하기를 나로 다시는 나의 하나님 여호와의 음성을 듣지 않게 하시고 다시는
이 큰 불을 보지 않게 하소서 두렵건대 내가 죽을까 하나이다 하매
18:16 In answer to the request you made to the Lord your God in Horeb on the day of the
great meeting, when you said, Let not the voice of the Lord my God come to my ears
again, and let me not see this great fire any more, or death will overtake me.
18:16 According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in
the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD
my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
18:17 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 그들의 말이 옳도다
18:17 Then the Lord said to me, What they have said is well said.
18:17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have
spoken.
18:18 내가 그들의 형제 중에 너와 같은 선지자 하나를 그들을 위하여 일으키고
내 말을 그 입에 두리니 내가 그에게 명하는 것을 그가 무리에게 다 고하리라
18:18 I will give them a prophet from among themselves, like you, and I will put my words
in his mouth, and he will say to them whatever I give him orders to say.
18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto
you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that
I shall command him.
18:19 무릇 그가 내 이름으로 고하는 내 말을 듣지 아니하는 자는 내게 벌을 받을
것이요
18:19 And whoever does not give ear to my words which he will say in my name, will be
responsible to me.
18:19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my
words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
18:20 내가 고하라고 명하지 아니한 말을 어떤 선지자가 만일 방자히 내 이름으로
고하든지 다른 신들의 이름으로 말하면 그 선지자는 죽임을 당하리라 하셨느니라
18:20 But the prophet who takes it on himself to say words in my name which I have not
given him orders to say, or who says anything in the name of other gods, will come
to his death.
18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which
I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other
gods, even that prophet shall die.
18:21 네가 혹시 심중에 이르기를 그 말이 여호와의 이르신 말씀인지 우리가 어떻게
알리요 하리라
18:21 And if you say in your hearts, How are we to be certain that the word does not come
from the Lord?
18:21 And if you say in yours heart, How shall we know the word which the
LORD has not spoken?
18:22 만일 선지자가 있어서 여호와의 이름으로 말한 일에 증험도 없고 성취함도
없으면 이는 여호와의 말씀하신 것이 아니요 그 선지자가 방자히 한 말이니 너는
그를 두려워 말지니라
18:22 When a prophet makes a statement in the name of the Lord, if what he says does not
take place and his words do not come true, then his word is not the word of the
Lord: the words of the prophet were said in the pride of his heart, and you are
to have no fear of him.
18:22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow
not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but
the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.
19:1 네 하나님 여호와께서 이 열국을 멸절하시고 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 땅을
네게 주시므로 네가 필경 그것을 얻고 그들의 각 성읍과 각 가옥에 거할 때에
19:1 When the nations, whose land the Lord your God is giving you, have been cut off
by him, and you have taken their place and are living in their towns and in their
houses;
19:1 When the LORD your God has cut off the nations, whose land the LORD
your God gives you, and you succeed them, and dwell in their cities, and in
their houses;
19:2 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주신 땅 가운데서 세 성읍을 너를 위하여
구별하고
19:2 You are to have three towns marked out in the land which the Lord your God is giving
you for your heritage.
19:2 You shall separate three cities for you in the midst of your land, which
the LORD your God gives you to possess it.
19:3 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 유업으로 주시는 땅의 전체를 삼 구로 분하여
그 도로를 닦고 무릇 살인자를 그 성읍으로 도피케 하라
19:3 You are to make ready a way, and see that the land which the Lord your God is giving
you for your heritage, is marked out into three parts, to which any taker of life
may go in flight.
19:3 You shall prepare you a way, and divide the coasts of your land, which
the LORD your God gives you to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer
may flee thither.
19:4 살인자가 그리로 도피하여 살 만한 경위는 이러하니 곧 누구든지 본래 혐원이
없이 부지중에 그 이웃을 죽인 일,
19:4 This is to be the rule for anyone who goes in flight there, after causing the death
of his neighbour in error and not through hate;
19:4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he
may live: Whoso kills his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;
19:5 가령 사람이 그 이웃과 함께 벌목하러 삼림에 들어가서 손에 도끼를 들고
벌목하려고 찍을 때에 도끼가 자루에서 빠져 그 이웃을 맞춰 그로 죽게 함 같은 것이라
이런 사람은 그 성읍 중 하나로 도피하여 생명을 보존할 것이니라
19:5 For example, if a man goes into the woods with his neighbour for the purpose of
cutting down trees, and when he takes his axe to give a blow to the tree, the head
of the axe comes off, and falling on to his neighbour gives him a wound causing
his death; then the man may go in flight to one of these towns and be safe:
19:5 As when a man goes into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and
his hand fetches a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slips
from the wooden handle, and lights upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall
flee unto one of those cities, and live:
19:6 그 사람이 그에게 본래 혐원이 없으니 죽이기에 합당치 아니하나 두렵건대
보수자의 마음이 뜨거워서 살인자를 따르는데 그 가는 길이 멀면 그를 따라 미쳐서
죽일까 하노라
19:6 For if not, he who has the right of punishment may go running after the taker of
life in the heat of his wrath, and overtake him because the way is long, and give
him a death-blow; though it is not right for him to be put to death because he was
not moved by hate.
19:6 Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is
hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was
not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.
19:7 그러므로 내가 네게 명하기를 세 성읍을 너를 위하여 구별하라 하노라
19:7 And so I am ordering you to see that three towns are marked out for this purpose.
19:7 Wherefore I command you, saying, You shall separate three cities for
you.
19:8 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 열조에게 맹세하신 대로 네 지경을 넓혀 네 열조에게
주리라고 말씀하신 땅을 다 네게 주실 때
19:8 And if the Lord your God makes wide the limits of your land, as he said in his oath
to your fathers, and gives you all the land which he undertook to give to your fathers;
19:8 And if the LORD your God enlarge your coast, as he has sworn unto your
fathers, and give you all the land which he promised to give unto your fathers;
19:9 또 네가 나의 오늘날 네게 명하는 이 모든 명령을 지켜 행하여 네 하나님
여호와를 사랑하고 항상 그 길로 행할 때에는 이 셋 외에 세 성읍을 더하여
19:9 If you keep and do all these orders which I give you today, loving the Lord your
God and walking ever in his ways; then let three more towns, in addition to these
three, be marked out for you:
19:9 If you shall keep all these commandments to do them, which I command
you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to walk ever in his ways; then
shall you add three cities more for you, beside these three:
19:10 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주시는 땅에서 무죄한 피를 흘림이
없게 하라 이같이 하면 그 피가 네게로 돌아가지 아니하리라
19:10 So that in all your land, which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage,
no man may be wrongly put to death, for which you will be responsible.
19:10 That innocent blood be not shed in your land, which the LORD your God
gives you for an inheritance, and so blood be upon you.
19:11 ○ 그러나 만일 사람이 그 이웃을 미워하여 엎드려 그를 기다리다가 일어나
쳐서 그 생명을 상하여 죽게 하고 이 한 성읍으로 도피하거든
19:11 But if any man has hate for his neighbour, and waiting for him secretly makes an
attack on him and gives him a blow causing his death, and then goes in flight to
one of these towns;
19:11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise
up against him, and strike him mortally that he die, and flees into one of these
cities:
19:12 그 본 성읍 장로들이 사람을 보내어 그를 거기서 잡아다가 보수자의 손에
넘겨 죽이게 할 것이라
19:12 The responsible men of his town are to send and take him, and give him up to the
one who has the right of punishment to be put to death.
19:12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver
him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.
19:13 네 눈이 그를 긍휼히 보지 말고 무죄한 피 흘린 죄를 이스라엘에서 제하라
그리하면 네게 복이 있으리라
19:13 Have no pity on him, so that Israel may be clear from the crime of putting a man
to death without cause, and it will be well for you.
19:13 Yours eye shall not pity him, but you shall put away the guilt of innocent
blood from Israel, that it may go well with you.
19:14 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주어 얻게 하시는 땅 곧 네 기업된 소유의
땅에서 선인의 정한 네 이웃의 경계표를 이동하지 말지니라
19:14 Your neighbour's landmark, which was put in its place by the men of old times, is
not to be moved or taken away in the land of your heritage which the Lord your God
is giving you.
19:14 You shall not remove your neighbour's landmark, which they of old time
have set in yours inheritance, which you shall inherit in the land that the
LORD your God gives you to possess it.
19:15 ○ 사람이 아무 악이든지 무릇 범한 죄는 한 증인으로만 정할 것이 아니요
두 증인의 입으로나 세 증인의 입으로 그 사건을 확정할 것이며
19:15 One witness may not make a statement against a man in relation to any sin or wrongdoing
which he has done: on the word of two or three witnesses a question is to be judged.
19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for
any sin, in any sin that he sins: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth
of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
19:16 만일 위증하는 자가 있어 아무 사람이 악을 행하였다 말함이 있으면
19:16 If a false witness makes a statement against a man, saying that he has done wrong,
19:16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that
which is wrong;
19:17 그 논쟁하는 양방이 같이 하나님 앞에 나아가 당시 제사장과 재판장 앞에
설 것이요
19:17 Then the two men, between whom the argument has taken place, are to come before
the Lord, before the priests and judges who are then in power;
19:17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before
the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
19:18 재판장은 자세히 사실하여 그 증인이 위증인이라 그 형제를 거짓으로 무함한
것이 판명되거든
19:18 And the judges will have the question looked into with care: and if the witness
is seen to be false and to have made a false statement against his brother,
19:18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the
witness be a false witness, and has testified falsely against his brother;
19:19 그가 그 형제에게 행하려고 꾀한 대로 그에게 행하여 너희 중에서 악을
제하라
19:19 Then do to him what it was his purpose to do to his brother: and so put away the
evil from among you.
19:19 Then shall all of you do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto
his brother: so shall you put the evil away from among you.
19:20 그리하면 그 남은 자들이 듣고 두려워하여 이후부터는 이런 악을 너희 중에서
다시 행하지 아니하리라
19:20 And the rest of the people, hearing of it, will be full of fear, and never again
do such evil among you.
19:20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit
no more any such evil among you.
19:21 네 눈이 긍휼히 보지 말라 생명은 생명으로, 눈은 눈으로, 이는 이로, 손은
손으로, 발은 발로니라
19:21 Have no pity; let life be given for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for
hand, foot for foot.
19:21 And yours eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye,
tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
20:1 네가 나가 대적과 싸우려 할 때에 말과 병거와 민중이 너보다 많음을 볼지라도
그들을 두려워 말라 애굽 땅에서 너를 인도하여 내신 네 하나님 여호와께서 너와
함께 하시느니라
20:1 When you go out to war against other nations, and come face to face with horses
and war-carriages and armies greater in number than yourselves, have no fear of
them: for the Lord your God is with you, who took you up out of the land of Egypt.
20:1 When you go out to battle against yours enemies, and see horses, and
chariots, and a people more than you, be not afraid of them: for the LORD your
God is with you, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
20:2 너희가 싸울 곳에 가까이 가거든 제사장은 백성에게 나아가서 고하여
20:2 And when you are on the point of attacking, let the priest come forward and say
to the people,
20:2 And it shall be, when all of you are come nigh unto the battle, that
the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
20:3 그들에게 이르기를 이스라엘아 들으라 너희가 오늘날 너희의 대적과 싸우려고
나아왔으니 마음에 겁내지 말며 두려워 말며 떨지 말며 그들로 인하여 놀라지 말라
20:3 Give ear, O Israel: today you are going forward to the fight; let your heart be
strong; do not let uncontrolled fear overcome you because of those who are against
you;
20:3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, all of you approach this day
unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do
not tremble, neither be all of you terrified because of them;
20:4 너희 하나님 여호와는 너희와 함께 행하시며 너희를 위하여 너희 대적을
치고 너희를 구원하시는 자니라 할 것이며
20:4 For the Lord your God goes with you, fighting for you to give you salvation from
those who are against you.
20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against
your enemies, to save you.
20:5 유사들은 백성에게 고하여 이르기를 새 집을 건축하고 낙성식을 행치 못한
자가 있느냐 그는 집으로 돌아갈지니 전사하면 타인이 낙성식을 행할까 하노라
20:5 And let the overseers say to the people, If there is any man who has made for himself
a new house and has not gone into it, let him go back to his house, so that in the
event of his death in the fight, another may not take his house for himself.
20:5 And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there
that has built a new house, and has not dedicated it? let him go and return
to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
20:6 포도원을 만들고 그 과실을 먹지 못한 자가 있느냐 그는 집으로 돌아갈지니
전사하면 타인이 그 과실을 먹을까 하노라
20:6 Or if any man has made a vine-garden without taking the first-fruits of it, let
him go back to his house, so that in the event of his death in the fight, another
may not be the first to make use of the fruit.
20:6 And what man is he that has planted a vineyard, and has not yet eaten
of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle,
and another man eat of it.
20:7 여자와 약혼하고 그를 취하지 못한 자가 있느냐 그는 집으로 돌아갈지니
전사하면 타인이 그를 취할까 하노라 하고
20:7 Or if any man is newly married and has had no sex relations with his wife, let him
go back to his house, so that in the event of his death in the fight, another man
may not take her.
20:7 And what man is there that has betrothed a wife, and has not taken her?
let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another
man take her.
20:8 유사들은 오히려 또 백성에게 고하여 이르기를 두려워서 마음에 겁내는 자가
있느냐 그는 집으로 돌아갈지니 그 형제들의 마음도 그의 마음과 같이 떨어질까 하노라
하여
20:8 And let the overseers go on to say to the people, If there is any man whose heart
is feeble with fear, let him go back to his house before he makes the hearts of
his countrymen feeble.
20:8 And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall
say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return
unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.
20:9 백성에게 이르기를 필한 후에 군대의 장관들을 세워 무리를 거느리게 할지니라
20:9 Then, after saying these words to the people, let the overseers put captains over
the army.
20:9 And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto
the people that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
20:10 ○ 네가 어떤 성읍으로 나아가서 치려 할 때에 그 성에 먼저 평화를 선언하라
20:10 When you come to a town, before attacking it, make an offer of peace.
20:10 When you come nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace
unto it.
20:11 그 성읍이 만일 평화하기로 회답하고 너를 향하여 성문을 열거든 그 온
거민으로 네게 공을 바치고 너를 섬기게 할 것이요
20:11 And if it gives you back an answer of peace, opening its doors to you, then all
the people in it may be put to forced work as your servants.
20:11 And it shall be, if it make you answer of peace, and open unto you,
then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries
unto you, and they shall serve you.
20:12 만일 너와 평화하기를 싫어하고 너를 대적하여 싸우려 하거든 너는 그 성읍을
에워쌀 것이며
20:12 If however it will not make peace with you, but war, then let it be shut in on all
sides:
20:12 And if it will make no peace with you, but will make war against you,
then you shall besiege it:
20:13 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 성읍을 네 손에 붙이시거든 너는 칼날로 그 속의
남자를 다 쳐죽이고
20:13 And when the Lord your God has given it into your hands, let every male in it be
put to death without mercy.
20:13 And when the LORD your God has delivered it into yours hands, you shall
strike every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
20:14 오직 여자들과 유아들과 육축과 무릇 그 성중에서 네가 탈취한 모든 것은
네 것이니 취하라 네가 대적에게서 탈취한 것은 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신
것인즉 너는 그것을 누릴지니라
20:14 But the women and the children and the cattle and everything in the town and all
its wealth, you may take for yourselves: the wealth of your haters, which the Lord
your God has given you, will be your food.
20:14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is
in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shall you take unto yourself; and you
shall eat the spoil of yours enemies, which the LORD your God has given you.
20:15 네가 네게서 멀리 떠난 성읍들 곧 이 민족들에게 속하지 아니한 성읍들에게는
이같이 행하려니와
20:15 So you are to do to all the towns far away, which are not the towns of these nations.
20:15 Thus shall you do unto all the cities which are very far off from you,
which are not of the cities of these nations.
20:16 오직 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주시는 이 민족들의 성읍에서는
호흡 있는 자를 하나도 살리지 말지니
20:16 But in the towns of these peoples whose land the Lord your God is giving you for
your heritage, let no living thing be kept from death:
20:16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD your God does give
you for an inheritance, you shall keep alive nothing that breathes:
20:17 곧 헷 족속과 아모리 족속과 가나안 족속과 브리스 족속과 히위 족속과
여부스 족속을 네가 진멸하되 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 명하신 대로 하라
20:17 Give them up to the curse; the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite,
the Hivite, and the Jebusite, as the Lord your God has given you orders:
20:17 But you shall utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites,
the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD
your God has commanded you:
20:18 이는 그들이 그 신들에게 행하는 모든 가증한 일로 너희에게 가르쳐 본받게
하여 너희로 너희의 하나님 여호와께 범죄케 할까 함이니라
20:18 So that you may not take them as your example and do all the disgusting things which
they do in the worship of their gods, so sinning against the Lord your God.
20:18 That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they
have done unto their gods; so should all of you sin against the LORD your God.
20:19 너희가 어느 성읍을 오래 동안 에워싸고 쳐서 취하려 할 때에도 도끼를
둘러 그 곳의 나무를 작벌하지 말라 이는 너희의 먹을 것이 될 것임이니 찍지 말라
밭의 수목이 사람이냐 너희가 어찌 그것을 에워싸겠느냐
20:19 If in war a town is shut in by your armies for a long time, do not let its trees
be cut down and made waste; for their fruit will be your food; are the trees of
the countryside men for you to take up arms against them?
20:19 When you shall besiege a city a long time, in making war against it
to take it, you shall not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against
them: for you may eat of them, and you shall not cut them down (for the tree
of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege:
20:20 오직 과목이 아닌 줄로 아는 수목은 작벌하여 너희와 싸우는 그 성읍을
치는 기구를 만들어 그 성읍을 함락시킬 때까지 쓸지니라
20:20 Only those trees which you are certain are not used for food may be cut down and
put to destruction: and you are to make walls of attack against the town till it
is taken.
20:20 Only the trees which you know that they be not trees for food, you
shall destroy and cut them down; and you shall build bulwarks against the city
that makes war with you, until it be subdued.
21:1 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주어 얻게 하시는 땅에서 혹시 피살한 시체가
들에 엎드러진 것을 발견하고 그 쳐죽인 자가 누구인지 알지 못하거든
21:1 If, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you come across the dead
body of a man in the open country, and you have no idea who has put him to death:
21:1 If one be found slain in the land which the LORD your God gives you
to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who has slain him:
21:2 너의 장로들과 재판장들이 나가서 그 피살한 곳에서 사면에 있는 각 성읍의
원근을 잴 것이요
21:2 Then your responsible men and your judges are to come out, and give orders for the
distance from the dead body to the towns round about it to be measured;
21:2 Then your elders and your judges shall come forth, and they shall measure
unto the cities which are round about him that is slain:
21:3 그 피살한 곳에서 제일 가까운 성읍 곧 그 성읍의 장로들이 아직 부리우지
아니하고 멍에를 메지 아니한 암송아지를 취하고
21:3 And whichever town is nearest to the body, the responsible men of that town are
to take from the herd a young cow which has never been used for work or put under
the yoke;
21:3 And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even
the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which has not been wrought with,
and which has not drawn in the yoke;
21:4 성읍의 장로들이 물이 항상 흐르고 갈지도 심지도 못하는 골짜기로 그 송아지를
끌고 가서 그 골짜기에서 그 송아지의 목을 꺾을 것이요
21:4 And they are to take the cow into a valley where there is flowing water, and which
is not ploughed or planted, and there the neck of the cow is to be broken:
21:4 And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough
valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck
there in the valley:
21:5 레위 자손 제사장들도 그리로 올지니 그들은 네 하나님 여호와께서 택하사
자기를 섬기게 하시며 또 여호와의 이름으로 축복하게 하신 자라 모든 소송과 모든
투쟁이 그들의 말대로 판결될 것이니라
21:5 Then the priests, the sons of Levi, are to come near; for they have been marked
out by the Lord your God to be his servants and to give blessings in the name of
the Lord; and by their decision every argument and every blow is to be judged:
21:5 And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD
your God has chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD;
and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
21:6 그 피살된 곳에서 제일 가까운 성읍의 모든 장로들은 그 골짜기에서 목을
꺾은 암송아지 위에 손을 씻으며
21:6 And all the responsible men of that town which is nearest to the dead man, washing
their hands over the cow whose neck was broken in the valley,
21:6 And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall
wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley:
21:7 말하기를 우리의 손이 이 피를 흘리지 아니하였고 우리의 눈이 이것을 보지도
못하였나이다
21:7 Will say, This death is not the work of our hands and our eyes have not seen it.
21:7 And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither
have our eyes seen it.
21:8 여호와여 주께서 속량하신 주의 백성 이스라엘을 사하시고 무죄한 피를
주의 백성 이스라엘 중에 머물러 두지 마옵소서 하면 그 피 흘린 죄가 사함을 받으리니
21:8 Have mercy, O Lord, on your people Israel whom you have made free, and take away
from your people the crime of a death without cause. Then they will no longer be
responsible for the man's death.
21:8 Be merciful, O LORD, unto your people Israel, whom you have redeemed,
and lay not innocent blood unto your people of Israel's charge. And the blood
shall be forgiven them.
21:9 너는 이와 같이 여호와의 보시기에 정직한 일을 행하여 무죄자의 피 흘린
죄를 너희 중에서 제할지니라
21:9 So you will take away the crime of a death without cause from among you, when you
do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.
21:9 So shall you put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when
you shall do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
21:10 ○ 네가 나가서 대적과 싸움함을 당하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 네
손에 붙이시므로 네가 그들을 사로잡은 후에
21:10 When you go out to war against other nations, and the Lord your God gives them up
into your hands and you take them as prisoners;
21:10 When you go forth to war against yours enemies, and the LORD your God
has delivered them into yours hands, and you have taken them captive,
21:11 네가 만일 그 포로 중의 아리따운 여자를 보고 연련하여 아내를 삼고자
하거든
21:11 If among the prisoners you see a beautiful woman and it is your desire to make her
your wife;
21:11 And see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire unto
her, that you would have her to your wife;
21:12 그를 네 집으로 데려갈 것이요 그는 그 머리를 밀고 손톱을 베고
21:12 Then take her back to your house; and let her hair and her nails be cut;
21:12 Then you shall bring her home to yours house, and she shall shave her
head, and trim her nails;
21:13 또 포로의 의복을 벗고 네 집에 거하며 그 부모를 위하여 일 개월 동안 애곡한
후에 네가 그에게로 들어가서 그 남편이 되고 그는 네 아내가 될 것이요
21:13 And let her take off the dress in which she was made prisoner and go on living in
your house and weeping for her father and mother for a full month: and after that
you may go in to her and be her husband and she will be your wife.
21:13 And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall
remain in yours house, and mourn for her father and her mother a full month:
and after that you shall go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be
your wife.
21:14 그 후에 네가 그를 기뻐하지 아니하거든 그 마음대로 가게 하고 결코 돈을
받고 팔지 말지라 네가 그를 욕보였은즉 종으로 여기지 말지니라
21:14 But if you have no delight in her, you are to let her go wherever she will; you
may not take a price for her as if she was your property, for you have made use
of her for your pleasure.
21:14 And it shall be, if you have no delight in her, then you shall let
her go where she will; but you shall not sell her at all for money, you shall
not make merchandise of her, because you have humbled her.
21:15 ○ 어떤 사람이 두 아내를 두었는데 하나는 사랑을 받고 하나는 미움을
받다가 그 사랑을 받는 자와 미움을 받는 자가 둘 다 아들을 낳았다 하자 그 미움을
받는 자의 소생이 장자여든
21:15 If a man has two wives, one greatly loved and the other hated, and the two of them
have had children by him; and if the first son is the child of the hated wife:
21:15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have
born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son
be hers that was hated:
21:16 자기의 소유를 그 아들들에게 기업으로 나누는 날에 그 사랑을 받는 자의
아들로 장자를 삼아 참 장자 곧 미움을 받는 자의 아들보다 앞세우지 말고
21:16 Then when he gives his property to his sons for their heritage, he is not to put
the son of his loved one in the place of the first son, the son of the hated wife:
21:16 Then it shall be, when he makes his sons to inherit that which he has,
that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the
hated, which is indeed the firstborn:
21:17 반드시 그 미움을 받는 자의 아들을 장자로 인정하여 자기의 소유에서 그에게는
두 몫을 줄 것이니 그는 자기의 기력의 시작이라 장자의 권리가 그에게 있음이니라
21:17 But he is to give his first son his birthright, and twice as great a part of his
property: for he is the first-fruits of his strength and the right of the first
son is his.
21:17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by
giving him a double portion of all that he has: for he is the beginning of his
strength; the right of the firstborn is his.
21:18 ○ 사람에게 완악하고 패역한 아들이 있어 그 아비의 말이나 그 어미의
말을 순종치 아니하고 부모가 징책하여도 듣지 아니하거든
21:18 If a man has a son who is hard-hearted and uncontrolled, who gives no attention
to the voice of his father and mother, and will not be ruled by them, though they
give him punishment:
21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the
voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened
him, will not hearken unto them:
21:19 부모가 그를 잡아가지고 성문에 이르러 그 성읍 장로들에게 나아가서
21:19 Then let his father and mother take him to the responsible men of the town, to the
public place;
21:19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him
out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
21:20 그 성읍 장로들에게 말하기를 우리의 이 자식은 완악하고 패역하여 우리
말을 순종치 아니하고 방탕하며 술에 잠긴 자라 하거든
21:20 And say to them, This son of ours is hard-hearted and uncontrolled, he will not
give attention to us; he gives himself up to pleasure and strong drink.
21:20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn
and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
21:21 그 성읍의 모든 사람들이 그를 돌로 쳐죽일지니 이같이 네가 너의 중에
악을 제하라 그리하면 온 이스라엘이 듣고 두려워하리라
21:21 Then he is to be stoned to death by all the men of the town: so you are to put away
the evil from among you; and all Israel, hearing of it, will be full of fear.
21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die:
so shall you put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
21:22 ○ 사람이 만일 죽을 죄를 범하므로 네가 그를 죽여 나무 위에 달거든
21:22 If a man does a crime for which the punishment is death, and he is put to death
by hanging him on a tree;
21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be
put to death, and you hang him on a tree:
21:23 그 시체를 나무 위에 밤새도록 두지 말고 당일에 장사하여 네 하나님 여호와께서
네게 기업으로 주시는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 나무에 달린 자는 하나님께 저주를 받았음이니라
21:23 Do not let his body be on the tree all night, but put it to rest in the earth the
same day; for the man who undergoes hanging is cursed by God; so do not make unclean
the land which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage.
21:23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but you shall in
any way bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that
your land be not defiled, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.
22:1 네 형제의 우양의 길 잃은 것을 보거든 못 본 체하지 말고 너는 반드시 끌어다가
네 형제에게 돌릴 것이요
22:1 If you see your brother's ox or his sheep wandering, do not go by without helping,
but take them back to your brother.
22:1 You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide
yourself from them: you shall in any case bring them again unto your brother.
22:2 네 형제가 네게서 멀거나 네가 혹 그를 알지 못하거든 그 짐승을 네 집으로
끌고 와서 네 형제가 찾기까지 네게 두었다가 그에게 돌릴지니
22:2 If their owner is not near, or if you are not certain who he is, then take the beast
to your house and keep it till its owner comes in search of it, and then you are
to give it back to him.
22:2 And if your brother be not nigh unto you, or if you know him not, then
you shall bring it unto yours own house, and it shall be with you until your
brother seek after it, and you shall restore it to him again.
22:3 나귀라도 그리하고 의복이라도 그리하고 무릇 형제의 잃은 아무 것이든지
네가 얻거든 다 그리하고 못 본 체하지 말 것이며
22:3 Do the same with his ass or his robe or anything which has gone from your brother's
keeping and which you have come across: do not keep it to yourself.
22:3 In like manner shall you do with his ass; and so shall you do with his
raiment; and with all lost thing of your brother's, which he has lost, and you
have found, shall you do likewise: you may not hide yourself.
22:4 네 형제의 나귀나 소가 길에 넘어진 것을 보거든 못 본 체하지 말고 너는
반드시 형제를 도와서 그것을 일으킬지니라
22:4 If you see your brother's ox or his ass falling down on the road, do not go by without
giving him help in lifting it up again.
22:4 You shall not see your brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way,
and hide yourself from them: you shall surely help him to lift them up again.
22:5 ○ 여자는 남자의 의복을 입지 말 것이요 남자는 여자의 의복을 입지 말
것이라 이같이 하는 자는 네 하나님 여호와께 가증한 자니라
22:5 It is not right for a woman to be dressed in man's clothing, or for a man to put
on a woman's robe: whoever does such things is disgusting to the Lord your God.
22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall
a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the
LORD your God.
22:6 ○ 노중에서 나무에나 땅에 있는 새의 보금자리에 새 새끼나 알이 있고 어미새가
그 새끼나 알을 품은 것을 만나거든 그 어미새와 새끼를 아울러 취하지 말고
22:6 If by chance you see a place which a bird has made for itself in a tree or on the
earth, with young ones or eggs, and the mother bird seated on the young ones or
on the eggs, do not take the mother bird with the young:
22:6 If a bird's nest chance to be before you in the way in any tree, or
on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon
the young, or upon the eggs, you shall not take the dam with the young:
22:7 어미는 반드시 놓아 줄 것이요 새끼는 취하여도 가하니 그리하면 네가 복을
누리고 장수하리라
22:7 See that you let the mother bird go, but the young ones you may take; so it will
be well for you and your life will be long.
22:7 But you shall in any way let the dam go, and take the young to you;
that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days.
22:8 ○ 네가 새 집을 건축할 때에 지붕에 난간을 만들어 사람으로 떨어지지 않게
하라 그 피 흐른 죄가 네 집에 돌아갈까 하노라
22:8 If you are building a house, make a railing for the roof, so that the blood of any
man falling from it will not come on your house.
22:8 When you build a new house, then you shall make a battlement for your
roof, that you bring not blood upon yours house, if any man fall from thence.
22:9 ○ 네 포도원에 두 종자를 섞어 뿌리지 말라 그리하면 네가 뿌린 씨의 열매와
포도원의 소산이 다 빼앗김이 될까 하노라
22:9 Do not have your vine-garden planted with two sorts of seed: or all of it may become
a loss, the seed you have put in as well as the increase.
22:9 You shall not sow your vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of
your seed which you have sown, and the fruit of your vineyard, be defiled.
22:10 너는 소와 나귀를 겨리하여 갈지 말며
22:10 Do not do your ploughing with an ox and an ass yoked together.
22:10 You shall not plow with an ox and an ass together.
22:11 양 털과 베 실로 섞어 짠 것을 입지 말지니라
22:11 Do not have clothing made of two sorts of thread, wool and linen together.
22:11 You shall not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen
together.
22:12 ○ 입는 겉옷 네 귀에 술을 만들지니라
22:12 On the four edges of your robe, with which your body is covered, put ornaments of
twisted threads.
22:12 You shall make you fringes upon the four quarters of your vesture,
wherewith you cover yourself.
22:13 ○ 누구든지 아내를 취하여 그와 동침한 후에 그를 미워하여
22:13 If any man takes a wife, and having had connection with her, has no delight in her,
22:13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
22:14 비방거리를 만들어 그에게 누명을 씌워 가로되 내가 이 여자를 취하였더니
그와 동침할 때에 그의 처녀인 표적을 보지 못하였노라 하면
22:14 And says evil things about her and gives her a bad name, saying, I took this woman,
and when I had connection with her it was clear to me that she was not a virgin:
22:14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name
upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not
a maid:
22:15 그 처녀의 부모가 처녀의 처녀인 표를 얻어 가지고 그 성읍 문 장로들에게로
가서
22:15 Then let the girl's father and mother put before the responsible men of the town,
in the public place, signs that the girl was a virgin:
22:15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring
forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the
gate:
22:16 처녀의 아비가 장로들에게 말하기를 내 딸을 이 사람에게 아내로 주었더니
그가 미워하여
22:16 And let the girl's father say to the responsible men, I gave my daughter to this
man for his wife, but he has no love for her;
22:16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter
unto this man to wife, and he hates her;
22:17 비방거리를 만들어 말하기를 내가 네 딸의 처녀인 표적을 보지 못하였노라
하나 보라 내 딸의 처녀인 표적이 이것이라 하고 그 부모가 그 자리옷을 그 성읍
장로들 앞에 펼 것이요
22:17 And now he has put shame on her, saying that she is not a virgin; but here is the
sign that she is a virgin. Then they are to put her clothing before the responsible
men of the town.
22:17 And, lo, he has given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found
not your daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity.
And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
22:18 그 성읍 장로들은 그 사람을 잡아 때리고
22:18 Then the responsible men of the town are to give the man his punishment;
22:18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
22:19 이스라엘 처녀에게 누명 씌움을 인하여 그에게서 은 일백 세겔을 벌금으로
받아 여자의 아비에게 주고 그 여자로 그 남자의 평생에 버리지 못할 아내가 되게
하려니와
22:19 They will take from him a hundred shekels of silver, which are to be given to the
father of the girl, because he has given an evil name to a virgin of Israel: she
will go on being his wife, he may never put her away all his life.
22:19 And they shall fine him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them
unto the father of the damsel, because he has brought up an evil name upon a
virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his
days.
22:20 그 일이 참되어 그 처녀에게 처녀인 표적이 없거든
22:20 But if what he has said is true, and she is seen to be not a virgin,
22:20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found
for the damsel:
22:21 처녀를 그 아비 집 문에서 끌어내고 그 성읍 사람들이 그를 돌로 쳐죽일지니
이는 그가 그 아비 집에서 창기의 행동을 하여 이스라엘 중에서 악을 행하였음이라
너는 이와 같이 하여 너의 중에 악을 제할지니라
22:21 Then they are to make the girl come to the door of her father's house and she will
be stoned to death by the men of the town, because she has done evil and put shame
on Israel, by acting as a loose woman in her father's house: so you are to put away
evil from among you.
22:21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house,
and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she
has wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shall
you put evil away from among you.
22:22 ○ 남자가 유부녀와 통간함을 보거든 그 통간한 남자와 그 여자를 둘 다
죽여 이스라엘 중에 악을 제할지니라
22:22 If a man is taken in the act of going in to a married woman, the two of them, the
man as well as the woman, are to be put to death: so you are to put away the evil
from Israel.
22:22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they
shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman:
so shall you put away evil from Israel.
22:23 ○ 처녀인 여자가 남자와 약혼한 후에 어떤 남자가 그를 성읍 중에서 만나
통간하면
22:23 If a young virgin has given her word to be married to a man, and another man meeting
her in the town, has connection with her;
22:23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man
find her in the city, and lie with her;
22:24 너희는 그들을 둘 다 성읍 문으로 끌어내고 그들을 돌로 쳐죽일 것이니
그 처녀는 성읍 중에 있어서도 소리 지르지 아니하였음이요 그 남자는 그 이웃의
아내를 욕보였음이라 너는 이같이 하여 너의 중에 악을 제할지니라
22:24 Then you are to take the two of them to the doorway of the town, and have them stoned
to death; the young virgin, because she gave no cry for help, though it was in the
town, and the man, because he has put shame on his neighbour's wife: so you are
to put away evil from among you.
22:24 Then all of you shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city,
and all of you shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because
she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbour's
wife: so you shall put away evil from among you.
22:25 ○ 만일 남자가 어떤 약혼한 처녀를 들에서 만나서 강간하였거든 그 강간한
남자만 죽일 것이요
22:25 But if the man, meeting such a virgin in the open country, takes her by force, then
only the man is to be put to death;
22:25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force
her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
22:26 처녀에게는 아무 것도 행치 말 것은 처녀에게는 죽일 죄가 없음이라 이
일은 사람이 일어나 그 이웃을 쳐죽인 것과 일반이라
22:26 Nothing is to be done to the virgin, because there is no cause of death in her:
it is the same as if a man made an attack on his neighbour and put him to death:
22:26 But unto the damsel you shall do nothing; there is in the damsel no
sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbour, and slays
him, even so is this matter:
22:27 남자가 처녀를 들에서 만난 까닭에 그 약혼한 처녀가 소리 질러도 구원할
자가 없었음이니라
22:27 For he came across her in the open country, and there was no one to come to the
help of the virgin in answer to her cry.
22:27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and
there was none to save her.
22:28 ○ 만일 남자가 어떤 약혼하지 아니한 처녀를 만나 그를 붙들고 통간하는
중 그 두 사람이 발견되거든
22:28 If a man sees a young virgin, who has not given her word to be married to anyone,
and he takes her by force and has connection with her, and discovery is made of
it;
22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and
lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
22:29 그 통간한 남자는 그 처녀의 아비에게 은 오십 세겔을 주고 그 처녀로 아내를
삼을 것이라 그가 그 처녀를 욕보였은즉 평생에 그를 버리지 못하리라
22:29 Then the man will have to give the virgin's father fifty shekels of silver and make
her his wife, because he has put shame on her; he may never put her away all his
life.
22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father
fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he has humbled her,
he may not put her away all his days.
22:30 ○ 사람이 그 아비의 후실을 취하여 아비의 하체를 드러내지 말지니라
22:30 A man may not take his father's wife or have sex relations with a woman who is his
father's.
22:30 A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.
23:1 신낭이 상한 자나 신을 베인 자는 여호와의 총회에 들어오지 못하리라
23:1 No man whose private parts have been wounded or cut off may come into the meeting
of the Lord's people.
23:1 He that is wounded in the stones, or has his private parts cut off,
shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
23:2 ○ 사생자는 여호와의 총회에 들어오지 못하리니 십 대까지라도 여호와의
총회에 들어오지 못하리라
23:2 One whose father and mother are not married may not come into the meeting of the
Lord's people, or any of his family to the tenth generation.
23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to
his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
23:3 ○ 암몬 사람과 모압 사람은 여호와의 총회에 들어오지 못하리니 그들에게
속한 자는 십 대 뿐 아니라 영원히 여호와의 총회에 들어오지 못하리라
23:3 No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their people to the tenth generation may come into
the meeting of the Lord's people:
23:3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the
LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation
of the LORD for ever:
23:4 그들은 너희가 애굽에서 나올 때에 떡과 물로 너희를 길에서 영접하지 아니하고
메소보다미아의 브돌 사람 브올의 아들 발람에게 뇌물을 주어 너희를 저주케 하려
하였으나
23:4 Because they gave you no bread or water on your way, when you came out of Egypt:
and they got Balaam, the son of Peor, from Pethor in Aram-naharaim to put curses
on you.
23:4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when
all of you came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against you Balaam
the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.
23:5 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 사랑하시므로 발람의 말을 듣지 아니하시고 그
저주를 변하여 복이 되게 하셨나니
23:5 But the Lord your God would not give ear to Balaam, but let the curse be changed
into a blessing to you, because of his love for you.
23:5 Nevertheless the LORD your God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the
LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing unto you, because the LORD your
God loved you.
23:6 너의 평생에 그들의 평안과 형통을 영영히 구하지 말지니라
23:6 Do nothing for their peace or well-being for ever.
23:6 You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days for
ever.
23:7 ○ 너는 에돔 사람을 미워하지 말라 그는 너의 형제니라 애굽 사람을 미워하지
말라 네가 그의 땅에서 객이 되었음이니라
23:7 But have no hate for an Edomite, because he is your brother, or for an Egyptian,
for you were living in his land.
23:7 You shall not detest an Edomite; for he is your brother: you shall not
detest an Egyptian; because you were a stranger in his land.
23:8 그들의 삼 대 후 자손은 여호와의 총회에 들어올 수 있느니라
23:8 Their children in the third generation may come into the meeting of the Lord's people.
23:8 The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation
of the LORD in their third generation.
23:9 ○ 네가 대적을 치러 출진할 때에 모든 악한 일을 스스로 삼갈지니
23:9 When you go out to war and put your tents in position, keep from every evil thing.
23:9 When the host goes forth against yours enemies, then keep you from every
wicked thing.
23:10 너희 중에 누가 밤에 몽설함으로 부정하거든 진 밖으로 나가고 진 안에
들어오지 아니하다가
23:10 If any man among you becomes unclean through anything which has taken place in the
night, he is to go out from the tent-circle and keep outside it:
23:10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness
that chances him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall
not come within the camp:
23:11 해 질 때에 목욕하고 해 진 후에 진에 들어올 것이요
23:11 But when evening comes near, let him take a bath: and after sundown he may come
back to the tents.
23:11 But it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall wash himself with
water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.
23:12 너의 진 밖에 변소를 베풀고 그리로 나가되
23:12 Let there be a place outside the tent-circle to which you may go;
23:12 You shall have a place also without the camp, where you shall go forth
abroad:
23:13 너의 기구에 작은 삽을 더하여 밖에 나가서 대변을 통할 때에 그것으로
땅을 팔 것이요 몸을 돌이켜 그 배설물을 덮을지니
23:13 And have among your arms a spade; and when you have been to that place, let that
which comes from you be covered up with earth:
23:13 And you shall have a paddle upon your weapon; and it shall be, when
you will ease yourself abroad, you shall dig therewith, and shall turn back
and cover that which comes from you:
23:14 이는 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 구원하시고 적군을 네게 붙이시려고 네
진 중에 행하심이라 그러므로 네 진을 거룩히 하라 그리하면 네게서 불합한 것을
보시지 않으므로 너를 떠나지 아니하시리라
23:14 For the Lord your God is walking among your tents, to keep you safe and to give
up into your hands those who are fighting against you; then let your tents be holy,
so that he may see no unclean thing among you, and be turned away from you.
23:14 For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you,
and to give up yours enemies before you; therefore shall your camp be holy:
that he see no unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.
23:15 ○ 종이 그 주인을 피하여 네게로 도망하거든 너는 그 주인에게로 돌리지
말고
23:15 Do not give back to his master a servant who has gone in flight from his master
and come to you:
23:15 You shall not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped
from his master unto you:
23:16 그가 너의 성읍 중에서 기뻐하는 곳을 택하는 대로 너와 함께 네 가운데
거하게 하고 그를 압제하지 말지니라
23:16 Let him go on living among you in whatever place is most pleasing to him: do not
be hard on him.
23:16 He shall dwell with you, even among you, in that place which he shall
choose in one of your gates, where it likes him best: you shall not oppress
him.
23:17 ○ 이스라엘 여자 중에 창기가 있지 못할 것이요 이스라엘 남자 중에 미동이
있지 못할지니
23:17 No daughter of Israel is to let herself be used as a loose woman for a strange god,
and no son of Israel is to give himself to a man.
23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite
of the sons of Israel.
23:18 창기의 번 돈과 개 같은 자의 소득은 아무 서원하는 일로든지 네 하나님
여호와의 전에 가져오지 말라 이 둘은 다 네 하나님 여호와께 가증한 것임이니라
23:18 Do not take into the house of the Lord your God, as an offering for an oath, the
price of a loose woman or the money given to one used for sex purposes in the worship
of the gods: for these two things are disgusting to the Lord your God.
23:18 You shall not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into
the house of the LORD your God for any vow: for even both these are abomination
unto the LORD your God.
23:19 ○ 네가 형제에게 꾸이거든 이식을 취하지 말지니 곧 돈의 이식, 식물의
이식, 무릇 이식을 낼 만한 것의 이식을 취하지 말 것이라
23:19 Do not take interest from an Israelite on anything, money or food or any other goods,
which you let him have:
23:19 You shall not lend upon interest to your brother; interest of money,
interest of victuals, interest of any thing that is lent upon interest:
23:20 타국인에게 네가 꾸이면 이식을 취하여도 가하거니와 너의 형제에게 꾸이거든
이식을 취하지 말라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 들어가서 얻을 땅에서 네
손으로 하는 범사에 복을 내리시리라
23:20 From men of other nations you may take interest, but not from an Israelite: so that
the blessing of the Lord your God may be on everything to which you put your hand,
in the land which you are about to take as your heritage.
23:20 Unto a stranger you may lend upon interest; but unto your brother you
shall not lend upon interest: that the LORD your God may bless you in all that
you set yours hand to in the land where you go to possess it.
23:21 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께 서원하거든 갚기를 더디 하지 말라 네 하나님 여호와께서
반드시 그것을 네게 요구하시리니 더디면 네게 죄라
23:21 When you take an oath to the Lord, do not be slow to give effect to it: for without
doubt the Lord your God will make you responsible, and will put it to your account
as sin.
23:21 When you shall vow a vow unto the LORD your God, you shall not slack
to pay it: for the LORD your God will surely require it of you; and it would
be sin in you.
23:22 네가 서원치 아니하였으면 무죄하니라마는
23:22 But if you take no oath, there will be no sin.
23:22 But if you shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in you.
23:23 네 입에서 낸 것은 그대로 실행하기를 주의하라 무릇 자원한 예물은 네
하나님 여호와께 네가 서원하여 입으로 언약한 대로 행할지니라
23:23 Whatever your lips have said, see that you do it; for you gave your word freely
to the Lord your God.
23:23 That which is gone out of your lips you shall keep and perform; even
a freewill offering, according as you have vowed unto the LORD your God, which
you have promised with your mouth.
23:24 ○ 네 이웃의 포도원에 들어갈 때에 마음대로 그 포도를 배불리 먹어도
가하니라 그러나 그릇에 담지 말 것이요
23:24 When you go into your neighbour's vine-garden, you may take of his grapes at your
pleasure, but you may not take them away in your vessel.
23:24 When you come into your neighbour's vineyard, then you may eat grapes
your fill at yours own pleasure; but you shall not put any in your vessel.
23:25 네 이웃의 곡식 밭에 들어갈 때에 네가 손으로 그 이삭을 따도 가하니라
그러나 이웃의 곡식 밭에 낫을 대지 말지니라
23:25 When you go into your neighbour's field, you may take the heads of grain with your
hand; but you may not put your blade to his grain.
23:25 When you come into the standing corn of your neighbour, then you may
pluck the ears with yours hand; but you shall not move a sickle unto your neighbour's
standing corn.
24:1 사람이 아내를 취하여 데려온 후에 수치되는 일이 그에게 있음을 발견하고
그를 기뻐하지 아니하거든 이혼 증서를 써서 그 손에 주고 그를 자기 집에서 내어보낼 것이요
24:1 If a man takes a wife, and after they are married she is unpleasing to him because
of some bad quality in her, let him give her a statement in writing and send her
away from his house.
24:1 When a man has taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that
she find no favour in his eyes, because he has found some uncleanness in her:
then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send
her out of his house.
24:2 그 여자는 그 집에서 나가서 다른 사람의 아내가 되려니와
24:2 And when she has gone away from him, she may become another man's wife.
24:2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another
man's wife.
24:3 그 후부도 그를 미워하여 이혼 증서를 써서 그 손에 주고 그를 자기 집에서
내어보내었거나 혹시 그를 아내로 취한 후부가 죽었다 하자
24:3 And if the second husband has no love for her and, giving her a statement in writing,
sends her away; or if death comes to the second husband to whom she was married;
24:3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement,
and gives it in her hand, and sends her out of his house; or if the latter husband
die, which took her to be his wife;
24:4 그 여자가 이미 몸을 더럽혔은즉 그를 내어보낸 전부가 그를 다시 아내로
취하지 말지니 이 일은 여호와 앞에 가증한 것이라 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로
주시는 땅으로 너는 범죄케 하지 말지니라
24:4 Her first husband, who had sent her away, may not take her back after she has been
wife to another; for that is disgusting to the Lord: and you are not to be a cause
of sin in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage.
24:4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be
his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD:
and you shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for
an inheritance.
24:5 ○ 사람이 새로이 아내를 취하였거든 그를 군대로 내어보내지 말 것이요
무슨 직무든지 그에게 맡기지 말 것이며 그는 일 년 동안 집에 한가히 거하여 그 취한
아내를 즐겁게 할지니라
24:5 A newly married man will not have to go out with the army or undertake any business,
but may be free for one year, living in his house for the comfort of his wife.
24:5 When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither
shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year,
and shall cheer up his wife which he has taken.
24:6 ○ 사람이 맷돌의 전부나 그 윗짝만이나 전집하지 말지니 이는 그 생명을
전집함이니라
24:6 No one is to take, on account of a debt, the stones with which grain is crushed:
for in doing so he takes a man's living.
24:6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he
takes a man's life to pledge.
24:7 ○ 사람이 자기 형제 곧 이스라엘 자손 중 한 사람을 후려다가 그를 부리거나
판 것이 발견되거든 그 후린 자를 죽일지니 이같이 하여 너희 중에 악을 제할지니라
24:7 If a man takes by force one of his countrymen, the children of Israel, using him
as his property or getting a price for him, that thief is to be put to death: so
you are to put away evil from among you.
24:7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel,
and makes merchandise of him, or sells him; then that thief shall die; and you
shall put evil away from among you.
24:8 ○ 너는 문둥병에 대하여 삼가서 레위 사람 제사장들이 너희에게 가르치는
대로 네가 힘써 다 행하되 곧 네가 그들에게 명한 대로 너희는 주의하여 행하라
24:8 In connection with the leper's disease, take care to keep and do every detail of
the teaching of the priests, the Levites: as I gave them orders, so you are to do.
24:8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently, and
do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded
them, so all of you shall observe to do.
24:9 너희가 애굽에서 나오는 길에서 네 하나님 여호와께서 미리암에게 행하신
일을 기억할지니라
24:9 Keep in mind what the Lord your God did to Miriam on the way, when you came out
of Egypt.
24:9 Remember what the LORD your God did unto Miriam by the way, after that
all of you were come forth out of Egypt.
24:10 ○ 무릇 네 이웃에게 꾸어줄 때에 네가 그 집에 들어가서 전집물을 취하지
말고
24:10 If you let your brother have the use of anything which is yours, do not go into
his house and take anything of his as a sign of his debt;
24:10 When you do lend your brother any thing, you shall not go into his
house to fetch his pledge.
24:11 너는 밖에 섰고 네게 꾸는 자가 전집물을 가지고 나와서 네게 줄 것이며
24:11 But keep outside till he comes out and gives it to you.
24:11 You shall stand abroad, and the man to whom you do lend shall bring
out the pledge abroad unto you.
24:12 그가 가난한 자여든 너는 그의 전집물을 가지고 자지 말고
24:12 If he is a poor man, do not keep his property all night;
24:12 And if the man be poor, you shall not sleep with his pledge:
24:13 해 질 때에 그 전집물을 반드시 그에게 돌릴 것이라 그리하면 그가 그 옷을
입고 자며 너를 위하여 축복하리니 그 일이 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 네 의로움이
되리라
24:13 But be certain to give it back to him when the sun goes down, so that he may have
his clothing for sleeping in, and will give you his blessing: and this will be put
to your account as righteousness before the Lord your God.
24:13 In any case you shall deliver him the pledge again when the sun goes
down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless you: and it shall be righteousness
unto you before the LORD your God.
24:14 ○ 곤궁하고 빈한한 품군은 너의 형제든지 네 땅 성문 안에 우거하는 객이든지
그를 학대하지 말며
24:14 Do not be hard on a servant who is poor and in need, if he is one of your countrymen
or a man from another nation living with you in your land.
24:14 You shall not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether
he be of your brethren, or of your strangers that are in your land within your
gates:
24:15 그 품삯을 당일에 주고 해 진 후까지 끌지 말라 이는 그가 빈궁하므로 마음에
품삯을 사모함이라 두렵건대 그가 너를 여호와께 호소하면 죄가 네게로 돌아갈까
하노라
24:15 Give him his payment day by day, not keeping it back over night; for he is poor
and his living is dependent on it; and if his cry against you comes to the ears
of the Lord, it will be judged as sin in you.
24:15 At his day you shall give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down
upon it; for he is poor, and sets his heart upon it: lest he cry against you
unto the LORD, and it be sin unto you.
24:16 ○ 아비는 그 자식들을 인하여 죽임을 당치 않을 것이요 자식들은 그 아비를
인하여 죽임을 당치 않을 것이라 각 사람은 자기 죄에 죽임을 당할 것이니라
24:16 Fathers are not to be put to death for their children or children for their fathers:
every man is to be put to death for the sin which he himself has done.
24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall
the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death
for his own sin.
24:17 ○ 너는 객이나 고아의 송사를 억울하게 말며 과부의 옷을 전집하지 말라
24:17 Be upright in judging the cause of the man from a strange country and of him who
has no father; do not take a widow's clothing on account of a debt:
24:17 You shall not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless;
nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:
24:18 너는 애굽에서 종이 되었던 일과 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 거기서 속량하신
것을 기억하라 이러므로 내가 네게 이 일을 행하라 명하노라
24:18 But keep in mind that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your
God made you free: for this is why I give you orders to do this.
24:18 But you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD
your God redeemed you thence: therefore I command you to do this thing.
24:19 ○ 네가 밭에서 곡식을 벨 때에 그 한 뭇을 밭에 잊어버렸거든 다시 가서
취하지 말고 객과 고아와 과부를 위하여 버려두라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서
네 손으로 하는 범사에 복을 내리시리라
24:19 When you get in the grain from your field, if some of the grain has been dropped
by chance in the field, do not go back and get it, but let it be for the man from
a strange land, the child without a father, and the widow: so that the blessing
of the Lord your God may be on all the work of your hands.
24:19 When you cut down yours harvest in your field, and have forgot a sheaf
in the field, you shall not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger,
for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD your God may bless you
in all the work of yours hands.
24:20 네가 네 감람나무를 떤 후에 그 가지를 다시 살피지 말고 그 남은 것은
객과 고아와 과부를 위하여 버려두며
24:20 When you are shaking the fruit from your olive-trees, do not go over the branches
a second time: let some be for the man from a strange land, the child without a
father, and the widow.
24:20 When you beat yours olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again:
it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
24:21 네가 네 포도원의 포도를 딴 후에 그 남은 것을 다시 따지 말고 객과 고아와
과부를 위하여 버려두라
24:21 When you are pulling the grapes from your vines, do not take up those which have
been dropped; let them be for the man from a strange land, the child without a father,
and the widow.
24:21 When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it
afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
24:22 너는 애굽 땅에서 종 되었던 것을 기억하라 이러므로 내가 네게 이 일을
행하라 명하노라
24:22 Keep in mind that you were a servant in the land of Egypt: for this is why I give
you orders to do this.
24:22 And you shall remember that you were a bondman in the land of Egypt:
therefore I command you to do this thing.
25:1 사람과 사람 사이에 시비가 생겨서 재판을 청하거든 재판장은 그들을 재판하여
의인은 의롭다 하고 악인은 정죄할 것이며
25:1 If there is an argument between men and they go to law with one another, let the
judges give their decision for the upright, and against the wrongdoer.
25:1 If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment,
that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn
the wicked.
25:2 악인에게 태형이 합당하거든 재판장은 그를 엎드리게 하고 그 죄의 경중대로
여수히 자기 앞에서 때리게 하라
25:2 And if the wrongdoer is to undergo punishment by whipping, the judge will give orders
for him to go down on his face and be whipped before him, the number of the blows
being in relation to his crime.
25:2 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the
judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according
to his fault, by a certain number.
25:3 사십까지는 때리려니와 그것을 넘기지는 못할지니 만일 그것을 넘겨 과다히
때리면 네가 네 형제로 천히 여김을 받게 할까 하노라
25:3 He may be given forty blows, not more; for if more are given, your brother may be
shamed before you.
25:3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed,
and beat him above these with many stripes, then your brother should seem vile
unto you.
25:4 ○ 곡식 떠는 소의 입에 망을 씌우지 말지니라
25:4 Do not keep the ox from taking the grain when he is crushing it.
25:4 You shall not suppress the ox when he treads out the corn.
25:5 ○ 형제가 동거하는데 그 중 하나가 죽고 아들이 없거든 그 죽은 자의 아내는
나가서 타인에게 시집가지 말 것이요 그 남편의 형제가 그에게로 들어가서 그를 취하여
아내를 삼아 그의 남편의 형제 된 의무를 그에게 다 행할 것이요
25:5 If brothers are living together and one of them, at his death, has no son, the wife
of the dead man is not to be married outside the family to another man: let her
husband's brother go in to her and make her his wife, doing as it is right for a
brother-in-law to do.
25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child,
the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's
brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty
of an husband's brother unto her.
25:6 그 여인의 낳은 첫 아들로 그 죽은 형제의 후사를 잇게 하여 그 이름을 이스라엘
중에서 끊어지지 않게 할 것이니라
25:6 Then the first male child she has will take the rights of the brother who is dead,
so that his name may not come to an end in Israel.
25:6 And it shall be, that the firstborn which she bears shall succeed in
the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.
25:7 그러나 그 사람이 만일 그 형제의 아내 취하기를 즐겨하지 아니하거든 그
형제의 아내는 그 성문 장로들에게로 나아가서 말하기를 내 남편의 형제가 그 형제의
이름을 이스라엘 중에 잇기를 싫어하여 남편의 형제 된 의무를 내게 행치 아니하나이다
할 것이요
25:7 But if the man says he will not take his brother's wife, then let the wife go to
the responsible men of the town, and say, My husband's brother will not keep his
brother's name living in Israel; he will not do what it is right for a husband's
brother to do.
25:7 And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's
wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuses
to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty
of my husband's brother.
25:8 그 성읍 장로들은 그를 불러다가 이를 것이며 그가 이미 정한 뜻대로 말하기를
내가 그 여자 취하기를 즐겨 아니하노라 하거든
25:8 Then the responsible men of the town will send for the man, and have talk with him:
and if he still says, I will not take her;
25:8 Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and
if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;
25:9 그 형제의 아내가 장로들 앞에서 그에게 나아가서 그의 발에서 신을 벗기고
그 얼굴에 침을 뱉으며 이르기를 그 형제의 집 세우기를 즐겨 아니하는 자에게는
이같이 할 것이라 할 것이며
25:9 Then his brother's wife is to come to him, before the responsible men of the town,
and take his shoe off his foot, and put shame on him, and say, So let it be done
to the man who will not take care of his brother's name.
25:9 Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders,
and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer
and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's
house.
25:10 이스라엘 중에서 그의 이름을 신 벗기운 자의 집이라 칭할 것이니라
25:10 And his family will be named in Israel, The house of him whose shoe has been taken
off.
25:10 And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that has his
shoe loosed.
25:11 ○ 두 사람이 서로 싸울 때에 한 사람의 아내가 그 남편을 그 치는 자의
손에서 구하려 하여 가까이 가서 손을 벌려 그 사람의 음낭을 잡거든
25:11 If two men are fighting, and the wife of one of them, coming to the help of her
husband, takes the other by the private parts;
25:11 When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one
draws near in order to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that strikes
him, and puts forth her hand, and takes him by the secrets:
25:12 너는 그 여인의 손을 찍어버릴 것이고 네 눈이 그를 불쌍히 보지 말지니라
25:12 Her hand is to be cut off; have no pity on her.
25:12 Then you shall cut off her hand, yours eye shall not pity her.
25:13 ○ 너는 주머니에 같지 않은 저울추 곧 큰 것과 작은 것을 넣지 말 것이며
25:13 Do not have in your bag different weights, a great and a small;
25:13 You shall not have in your bag divers weights, a great and a small.
25:14 네 집에 같지 않은 되 곧 큰 것과 작은 것을 두지 말 것이요
25:14 Or in your house different measures, a great and a small.
25:14 You shall not have in yours house divers measures, a great and a small.
25:15 오직 십분 공정한 저울추를 두며 십분 공정한 되를 둘 것이라 그리하면
네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 네 날이 장구하리라
25:15 But have a true weight and a true measure: so that your life may be long in the
land which the Lord your God is giving you.
25:15 But you shall have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure
shall you have: that your days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD
your God gives you.
25:16 무릇 이같이 하는자, 무릇 부정당히 행하는 자는 네 하나님 여호와께 가증하니라
25:16 For all who do such things, and all whose ways are not upright, are disgusting to
the Lord your God.
25:16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an
abomination unto the LORD your God.
25:17 ○ 너희가 애굽에서 나오는 길에 아말렉이 네게 행한 일을 기억하라
25:17 Keep in mind what Amalek did to you on your way from Egypt;
25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto you by the way, when all of you were
come forth out of Egypt;
25:18 곧 그들이 하나님을 두려워하지 아니하고 너를 길에서 만나 너의 피곤함을
타서 네 뒤에 떨어진 약한 자들을 쳤느니라
25:18 How, meeting you on the way, he made an attack on you when you were tired and without
strength, cutting off all the feeble ones at the end of your line; and the fear
of God was not in him.
25:18 How he met you by the way, and stroke the hindmost of you, even all
that were feeble behind you, when you were faint and weary; and he feared not
God.
25:19 그러므로 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주어 기업으로 얻게 하시는 땅에서
네 하나님 여호와께서 너로 사면에 있는 모든 대적을 벗어나게 하시고 네게 안식을
주실 때에 너는 아말렉의 이름을 천하에서 도말할지니라 너는 잊지 말지니라
25:19 So when the Lord your God has given you rest from all who are against you on every
side, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage, see to
it that the memory of Amalek is cut off from the earth; keep this in mind.
25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from
all yours enemies round about, in the land which the LORD your God gives you
for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the remembrance of
Amalek from under heaven; you shall not forget it.
26:1 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주사 얻게 하시는 땅에 네가 들어가서
거기 거할 때에
26:1 Now when you have come into the land which the Lord is giving you for your heritage,
and you have made it yours and are living in it;
26:1 And it shall be, when you are come in unto the land which the LORD your
God gives you for an inheritance, and possess it, and dwell therein;
26:2 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 그 토지 모든 소산의 맏물을 거둔
후에 그것을 취하여 광주리에 담고 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신
곳으로 그것을 가지고 가서
26:2 You are to take a part of the first-fruits of the earth, which you get from the
land which the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket, and go to the
place marked out by the Lord your God, as the resting-place of his name.
26:2 That you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which
you shall bring of your land that the LORD your God gives you, and shall put
it in a basket, and shall go unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose
to place his name there.
26:3 당시 제사장에게 나아가서 그에게 이르기를 내가 오늘날 당신의 하나님 여호와께
고하나이다 내가 여호와께서 우리에게 주리라고 우리 열조에게 맹세하신 땅에 이르렀나이다
할 것이요
26:3 And you are to come to him who is priest at that time, and say to him, I give witness
today before the Lord your God, that I have come into the land which the Lord made
an oath to our fathers to give us.
26:3 And you shall go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say
unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD your God, that I am come unto the
country which the LORD swore unto our fathers in order to give us.
26:4 제사장은 네 손에서 그 광주리를 취하여다가 네 하나님 여호와의 단 앞에
놓을 것이며
26:4 Then the priest will take the basket from your hand and put it down in front of
the altar of the Lord your God.
26:4 And the priest shall take the basket out of yours hand, and set it down
before the altar of the LORD your God.
26:5 너는 또 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 아뢰기를 내 조상은 유리하는 아람 사람으로서
소수의 사람을 거느리고 애굽에 내려가서 거기 우거하여 필경은 거기서 크고 강하고
번성한 민족이 되었더니
26:5 And these are the words which you will say before the Lord your God: My father was
a wandering Aramaean, and he went down with a small number of people into Egypt;
there he became a great and strong nation:
26:5 And you shall speak and say before the LORD your God, A Syrian ready
to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with
a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
26:6 애굽 사람이 우리를 학대하며 우리를 괴롭게 하며 우리에게 중역을 시키므로
26:6 And the Egyptians were cruel to us, crushing us under a hard yoke:
26:6 And the Egyptians evil pleaded us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us
hard bondage:
26:7 우리가 우리 조상의 하나님 여호와께 부르짖었더니 여호와께서 우리 음성을
들으시고 우리의 고통과 신고와 압제를 하감하시고
26:7 And our cry went up to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord's ear was
open to the voice of our cry, and his eyes took note of our grief and the crushing
weight of our work:
26:7 And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our
voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
26:8 여호와께서 강한 손과 편 팔과 큰 위엄과 이적과 기사로 우리를 애굽에서
인도하여 내시고
26:8 And the Lord took us out of Egypt with a strong hand and a stretched-out arm, with
works of power and signs and wonders:
26:8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with
an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
26:9 이곳으로 인도하사 이 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 주셨나이다
26:9 And he has been our guide to this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing
with milk and honey.
26:9 And he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, even
a land that flows with milk and honey.
26:10 여호와여 이제 내가 주께서 내게 주신 토지 소산의 맏물을 가져왔나이다
하고 너는 그것을 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 두고 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 경배할 것이며
26:10 So now, I have come here with the first of the fruits of the earth which you, O
Lord, have given me. Then you will put it down before the Lord your God and give
him worship:
26:10 And now, behold, I have brought the first-fruits of the land, which
you, O LORD, have given me. And you shall set it before the LORD your God, and
worship before the LORD your God:
26:11 네 하나님 여호와께서 너와 네 집에 주신 모든 복을 인하여 너는 레위인과
너의 중에 우거하는 객과 함께 즐거워할지니라
26:11 And you will have joy in every good thing which the Lord your God has given to you
and to your family; and the Levite, and the man from a strange land who is with
you, will take part in your joy.
26:11 And you shall rejoice in every good thing which the LORD your God has
given unto you, and unto yours house, you, and the Levite, and the stranger
that is among you.
26:12 ○ 제 삼 년 곧 십일조를 드리는 해에 네 모든 소산의 십일조 다 내기를
마친 후에 그것을 레위인과 객과 고아와 과부에게 주어서 네 성문 안에서 먹어 배부르게
하라
26:12 When you have taken out a tenth from the tenth of all your produce in the third
year, which is the year when this has to be done, give it to the Levite, and the
man from a strange land, and the child without a father, and the widow, so that
they may have food in your towns and be full;
26:12 When you have made an end of tithing all the tithes of yours increase
the third year, which is the year of tithing, and have given it unto the Levite,
the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within your gates,
and be filled;
26:13 그리할 때에 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 고하기를 내가 성물을 내 집에서 내어
레위인과 객과 고아와 과부에게 주기를 주께서 내게 명하신 명령대로 하였사오니
내가 주의 명령을 범치도 아니하였고 잊지도 아니하였나이다
26:13 And say before the Lord your God, I have taken all the holy things out of my house
and have given them to the Levite, and the man from a strange land, and him who
has no father, and the widow, as you have given me orders: I have kept in mind all
your orders, in nothing have I gone against them:
26:13 Then you shall say before the LORD your God, I have brought away the
hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite,
and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all
your commandments which you have commanded me: I have not transgressed your
commandments, neither have I forgotten them.
26:14 내가 애곡하는 날에 이 성물을 먹지 아니하였고 부정한 몸으로 이를 떼어두지
아니하였고 죽은 자를 위하여 이를 쓰지 아니하였고 내 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 청종하여
주께서 내게 명령하신 대로 다 행하였사오니
26:14 No part of these things has been used for food in a time of weeping, or put away
when I was unclean, or given for the dead: I have given ear to the voice of the
Lord my God, and have done all you have given me orders to do.
26:14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away
ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but
I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to
all that you have commanded me.
26:15 원컨대 주의 거룩한 처소 하늘에서 하감하시고 주의 백성 이스라엘에게
복을 주시며 우리 열조에게 맹세하여 우리에게 주신 바 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에 복을
내리소서 할지니라
26:15 So, looking down from your holy place in heaven, send your blessing on your people
Israel and on the land which you have given us, as you said in your oath to our
fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
26:15 Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people
Israel, and the land which you have given us, as you sware unto our fathers,
a land that flows with milk and honey.
26:16 ○ 오늘날 네 하나님 여호와께서 이 규례와 법도를 행하라고 네게 명하시나니
그런즉 너는 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 지켜 행하라
26:16 Today the Lord your God gives you orders to keep all these laws and decisions: so
then keep and do them with all your heart and all your soul.
26:16 This day the LORD your God has commanded you to do these statutes and
judgments: you shall therefore keep and do them with all yours heart, and with
all your soul.
26:17 네가 오늘날 여호와를 네 하나님으로 인정하고 또 그 도를 행하고 그 규례와
명령과 법도를 지키며 그 소리를 들으리라 확언하였고
26:17 Today you have given witness that the Lord is your God, and that you will go in
his ways and keep his laws and his orders and his decisions and give ear to his
voice:
26:17 You have stand as a witness to the LORD this day to be your God, and
to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his
judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
26:18 여호와께서도 네게 말씀하신 대로 오늘날 너를 자기의 보배로운 백성으로
인정하시고 또 그 모든 명령을 지키게 하리라 확언하셨은즉
26:18 And the Lord has made it clear this day that you are a special people to him, as
he gave you his word; and that you are to keep all his orders;
26:18 And the LORD has stand as a witness to you this day to be his exclusive
people, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments;
26:19 여호와께서 너의 칭찬과 명예와 영광으로 그 지으신 모든 민족 위에 뛰어나게
하시고 그 말씀하신 대로 너로 네 하나님 여호와의 성민이 되게 하시리라
26:19 And that he will make you high over all the nations he has made, in praise, in name,
and in honour, and that you are to be a holy people to the Lord your God as he has
said.
26:19 And to make you high above all nations which he has made, in praise,
and in name, and in honour; and that you may be an holy people unto the LORD
your God, as he has spoken.
