 사도행전 1장

1:1 데오빌로여 내가 먼저 쓴 글에는 무릇 예수의 행하시며 가르치시기를 시작하심부터
1:1 I have given an earlier account, O Theophilus, of all the things which Jesus did, and of his teaching from the first,
1:1 The former treatise (o. logos) have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

1:2 그의 택하신 사도들에게 성령으로 명하시고 승천하신 날까지의 일을 기록하였노라
1:2 Till the day when he was taken up to heaven after he had given his orders, through the Holy Spirit, to the Apostles of whom he had made selection:
1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

1:3 해 받으신 후에 또한 저희에게 확실한 많은 증거로 친히 사심을 나타내사 사십 일 동안 저희에게 보이시며 하나님 나라의 일을 말씀하시니라
1:3 And to whom he gave clear and certain signs that he was living, after his death; for he was seen by them for forty days, and gave them teaching about the kingdom of God:
1:3 To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

1:4 사도와 같이 모이사 저희에게 분부하여 가라사대 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 내게 들은 바 아버지의 약속하신 것을 기다리라
1:4 And when they were all together, with him, he gave them orders not to go away from Jerusalem, but to keep there, waiting till the word of the Father was put into effect, of which, he said, I have given you knowledge:
1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, says he, all of you have heard of me.

1:5 요한은 물로 세례를 베풀었으나 너희는 몇 날이 못되어 성령으로 세례를 받으리라 하셨느니라
1:5 For the baptism of John was with water, but you will have baptism with the Holy Spirit, after a little time.
1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but all of you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) not many days behind.

1:6 ○ 저희가 모였을 때에 예수께 묻자와 가로되 주께서 이스라엘 나라를 회복하심이 이 때니이까 하니
1:6 So, when they were together, they said to him, Lord, will you at this time give back the kingdom to Israel?
1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

1:7 가라사대 때와 기한은 아버지께서 자기의 권한에 두셨으니 너희의 알 바 아니요
1:7 And he said to them, It is not for you to have knowledge of the time and the order of events which the Father has kept in his control.
1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.

1:8 오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라
1:8 But you will have power, when the Holy Spirit has come on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judaea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
1:8 But all of you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) has come upon you: and all of you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

1:9 이 말씀을 마치시고 저희 보는데서 올리워 가시니 구름이 저를 가리워 보이지 않게 하더라
1:9 And when he had said these things, while they were looking, he was taken up, and went from their view into a cloud.
1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

1:10 올라가실 때에 제자들이 자세히 하늘을 쳐다 보고 있는데 흰 옷 입은 두 사람이 저희 곁에 서서
1:10 And while they were looking up to heaven with great attention, two men came to them, in white clothing,
1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

1:11 가로되 갈릴리 사람들아 어찌하여 서서 하늘을 쳐다 보느냐 너희 가운데서 하늘로 올리우신 이 예수는 하늘로 가심을 본 그대로 오시리라 하였느니라
1:11 And said, O men of Galilee, why are you looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come again, in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.
1:11 Which also said, All of you men of Galilee, why stand all of you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as all of you have seen him go into heaven.

1:12 ○ 제자들이 감람원이라 하는 산으로부터 예루살렘에 돌아오니 이 산은 예루살렘에서 가까와 안식일에 가기 알맞은 길이라
1:12 Then they went back to Jerusalem from the mountain named Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.
1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

1:13 들어가 저희 유하는 다락에 올라가니 베드로, 요한, 야고보, 안드레와 빌립, 도마와 바돌로매, 마태와 및 알패오의 아들 야고보, 셀롯인 시몬, 야고보의 아들 유다가 다 거기 있어
1:13 And when they came in, they went up into the room where they were living; Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James, the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas, the son of James.
1:13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

1:14 여자들과 예수의 모친 마리아와 예수의 아우들로 더불어 마음을 같이하여 전혀 기도에 힘쓰니라
1:14 And they all with one mind gave themselves up to prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

1:15 ○ 모인 무리의 수가 한 일백 이십 명이나 되더라 그 때에 베드로가 그 형제 가운데 일어서서 가로되
1:15 And in those days Peter got up among the brothers (there were about one hundred and twenty of them), and said,
1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

1:16 형제들아 성령이 다윗의 입을 의탁하사 예수 잡는 자들을 지로한 유다를 가리켜 미리 말씀하신 성경이 응하였으니 마땅하도다
1:16 My brothers, the word of God had to be put into effect, which the Holy Spirit had said before, by the mouth of David, about Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus,
1:16 Men and brethren, this scripture must essentially have been fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) by the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

1:17 이 사람이 본래 우리 수 가운데 참예하여 이 직무의 한 부분을 맡았던 자라
1:17 For he was numbered among us, and had his part in our work.
1:17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

1:18 {이 사람이 불의의 삯으로 밭을 사고 후에 몸이 곤두박질하여 배가 터져 창자가 다 흘러 나온지라
1:18 (Now this man, with the reward of his evil-doing, got for himself a field, and falling head first, came to a sudden and violent end there.
1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

1:19 이 일이 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람에게 알게 되어 본방언에 그 밭을 이르되 아겔다마라 하니 이는 피밭이라는 뜻이라}
1:19 And this came to the knowledge of all those who were living in Jerusalem, so that the field was named in their language, Akel-dama, or, The field of blood.)
1:19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

1:20 시편에 기록하였으되  그의 거처로 황폐하게 하시며 거기 거하는 자가 없게 하소서  하였고 또 일렀으되  그 직분을 타인이 취하게 하소서  하였도다
1:20 For in the book of Psalms it says, Let his house be waste, and let no man be living in it: and, Let his position be taken by another.
1:20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

1:21 이러하므로 요한의 세례로부터 우리 가운데서 올리워 가신 날까지 주 예수께서 우리 가운데 출입하실 때에
1:21 For this reason, of the men who have been with us all the time, while the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
1:21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

1:22 항상 우리와 함께 다니던 사람 중에 하나를 세워 우리로 더불어 예수의 부활하심을 증거할 사람이 되게 하여야 하리라 하거늘
1:22 Starting from the baptism of John till he went up from us, one will have to be a witness with us of his coming back from death.
1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

1:23 저희가 두 사람을 천하니 하나는 바사바라고도 하고 별명은 유스도라고 하는 요셉이요 하나는 맛디아라
1:23 And they made selection of two, Joseph, named Barsabbas, whose other name was Justus, and Matthias.
1:23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

1:24 저희가 기도하여 가로되 뭇 사람의 마음을 아시는 주여 이 두 사람 중에 누가 주의 택하신 바 되어
1:24 And they made prayers and said, Lord, having knowledge of the hearts of all men, make clear which of these two has been marked out by you,
1:24 And they prayed, and said, You, Lord, which know the hearts of all men, show whether of these two you have chosen,

1:25 봉사와 및 사도의 직무를 대신 할 자를 보이시옵소서 유다는 이를 버리옵고 제 곳으로 갔나이다 하고
1:25 To take that position as a servant and Apostle, from which Judas by his sin was shut out, so that he might go to his place.
1:25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

1:26 제비 뽑아 맛디아를 얻으니 저가 열 한 사도의 수에 가입하니라
1:26 And they put it to the decision of chance, and the decision was given for Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven Apostles.
1:26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

 사도행전 2장 /

2:1 오순절 날이 이미 이르매 저희가 다 같이 한 곳에 모였더니
2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was come, they were all together in one place.
2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2:2 홀연히 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람 같은 소리가 있어 저희 앉은 온 집에 가득하며
2:2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like the rushing of a violent wind, and all the house where they were was full of it.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

2:3 불의 혀 같이 갈라지는 것이 저희에게 보여 각 사람 위에 임하여 있더니
2:3 And they saw tongues, like flames of fire, coming to rest on every one of them.
2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

2:4 저희가 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 방언으로 말하기를 시작하니라
2:4 And they were all full of the Holy Spirit, and were talking in different languages, as the Spirit gave them power.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit (o. pneuma) gave them utterance.

2:5 ○ 그 때에 경건한 유대인이 천하 각국으로부터 와서 예루살렘에 우거하더니
2:5 Now there were living at Jerusalem, Jews, God-fearing men, from every nation under heaven.
2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

2:6 이 소리가 나매 큰 무리가 모여 각각 자기의 방언으로 제자들의 말하는 것을 듣고 소동하여
2:6 And when this sound came to their ears, they all came together, and were greatly surprised because every man was hearing the words of the disciples in his special language.
2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

2:7 다 놀라 기이히 여겨 이르되 보라 이 말하는 사람이 다 갈릴리 사람이 아니냐
2:7 And they were full of wonder and said, Are not all these men Galilaeans?
2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

2:8 우리가 우리 각 사람의 난 곳 방언으로 듣게 되는 것이 어찜이뇨
2:8 And how is it that every one of us is hearing their words in the language which was ours from our birth?
2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

2:9 우리는 바대인과 메대인과 엘람인과 또 메소보다미아 유대와 가바도기아, 본도와 아시아,
2:9 Men of Parthia, Media, and Elam, and those living in Mesopotamia, in Judaea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia,
2:9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

2:10 브루기아와 밤빌리아, 애굽과 및 구레네에 가까운 리비야 여러 지방에 사는 사람들과 로마로부터 온 나그네 곧 유대인과 유대교에 들어온 사람들과
2:10 In Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and those who have come from Rome, Jews by birth and others who have become Jews,
2:10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

2:11 그레데인과 아라비아인들이라 우리가 다 우리의 각 방언으로 하나님의 큰 일을 말함을 듣는도다 하고
2:11 Men of Crete and Arabia, to all of us they are talking in our different languages, of the great works of God.
2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

2:12 다 놀라며 의혹하여 서로 가로되 이 어찐 일이냐 하며
2:12 And they were all surprised and in doubt saying to one another, What is the reason of this?
2:12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this?

2:13 또 어떤 이들은 조롱하여 가로되 저희가 새 술이 취하였다 하더라
2:13 But others, making sport of them, said, They are full of new wine.
2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

2:14 ○ 베드로가 열 한 사도와 같이 서서 소리를 높여 가로되 유대인들과 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람들아 이 일을 너희로 알게 할 것이니 내 말에 귀를 기울이라
2:14 But Peter, getting up, with the eleven, said in a loud voice, O men of Judaea, and all you who are living in Jerusalem, take note of this and give ear to my words.
2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, All of you men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: (o. rhema)

2:15 때가 제 삼 시니 너희 생각과 같이 이 사람들이 취한 것이 아니라
2:15 For these men are not overcome with wine, as it seems to you, for it is only the third hour of the day;
2:15 For these are not drunken, as all of you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

2:16 이는 곧 선지자 요엘로 말씀하신 것이니 일렀으되
2:16 But this is the thing which was said by the prophet Joel;
2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

2:17  하나님이 가라사대 말세에 내가 내 영으로 모든 육체에게 부어 주리니 너희의 자녀들은 예언할 것이요 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라
2:17 And it will come about, in the last days, says God, that I will send out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will be prophets, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will have dreams:
2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit (o. pneuma) upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

2:18  그 때에 내가 내 영으로 내 남종과 여종들에게 부어 주리니 저희가 예언할 것이요
2:18 And on my men-servants and my women-servants I will send my Spirit, and they will be prophets.
2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; (o. pneuma) and they shall prophesy:

2:19  또 내가 위로 하늘에서는 기사와 아래로 땅에서는 징조를 베풀리니 곧 피와 불과 연기로다
2:19 And wonders will be seen in heaven, and signs on the earth, blood and fire and smoke:
2:19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

2:20  주의 크고 영화로운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변하여 어두워지고 달이 변하여 피가 되리라
2:20 The sun will become dark and the moon will be turned to blood, before that great day of the Lord comes in glory:
2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

2:21  누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리라  하였느니라
2:21 And whoever makes his prayer to the Lord will have salvation.
2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

2:22 이스라엘 사람들아 이 말을 들으라 너희도 아는 바에 하나님께서 나사렛 예수로 큰 권능과 기사와 표적을 너희 가운데서 베푸사 너희 앞에서 그를 증거하셨느니라
2:22 Men of Israel, give ear to these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man who had the approval of God, as was made clear to you by the great works and signs and wonders which God did by him among you, as you yourselves have knowledge,
2:22 All of you men of Israel, hear these words; (o. logos) Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as all of you yourselves also know:

2:23 그가 하나님의 정하신 뜻과 미리 아신 대로 내어준 바 되었거늘 너희가 법 없는 자들의 손을 빌어 못 박아 죽였으나
2:23 Him, when he was given up, by the decision and knowledge of God, you put to death on the cross, by the hands of evil men:
2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, all of you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

2:24 하나님께서 사망의 고통을 풀어 살리셨으니 이는 그가 사망에게 매여 있을 수 없었음이라
2:24 But God gave him back to life, having made him free from the pains of death because it was not possible for him to be overcome by it.
2:24 Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it.

2:25 다윗이 저를 가리켜 가로되  내가 항상 내 앞에 계신 주를 뵈웠음이여 나로 요동치 않게 하기 위하여 그가 내 우편에 계시도다
2:25 For David said of him, I saw the Lord before my face at all times, for he is at my right hand, so that I may not be moved:
2:25 For David speaks concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

2:26  이러므로 내 마음이 기뻐하였고 내 입술도 즐거워하였으며 육체는 희망에 거하리니
2:26 And for this cause my heart was glad and my tongue full of joy, and my flesh will be resting in hope:
2:26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

2:27  이는 내 영혼을 음부에 버리지 아니하시며 주의 거룩한 자로 썩음을 당치 않게 하실 것임이로다
2:27 For you will not let my soul be in hell and you will not give up your Holy One to destruction.
2:27 Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer yours Holy One to see corruption.

2:28  주께서 생명의 길로 내게 보이셨으니 주의 앞에서 나로 기쁨이 충만하게 하시리로다  하였으니
2:28 You have made me see the ways of life; I will be full of joy when I see your face.
2:28 You have made known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy with your countenance.

2:29 형제들아 내가 조상 다윗에 대하여 담대히 말할 수 있노니 다윗이 죽어 장사되어 그 묘가 오늘까지 우리 중에 있도다
2:29 My brothers, I may say to you openly that David came to his death, and was put in the earth, and his resting-place is with us today.
2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day.

2:30 그는 선지자라 하나님이 이미 맹세하사 그 자손 중에서 한 사람을 그 위에 앉게 하리라 하심을 알고
2:30 But being a prophet, and having in mind the oath which God had given to him, that of the fruit of his body one would take his place as a king,
2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

2:31 미리 보는 고로 그리스도의 부활하심을 말하되 저가 음부에 버림이 되지 않고 육신이 썩음을 당하지 아니하시리라 하더니
2:31 He, having knowledge of the future, was talking of the coming again of Christ from the dead, that he was not kept in hell and his body did not see destruction.
2:31 He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

2:32 이 예수를 하나님이 살리신지라 우리가 다 이 일에 증인이로다
2:32 This Jesus God has given back to life, of which we all are witnesses.
2:32 This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

2:33 하나님이 오른손으로 예수를 높이시매 그가 약속하신 성령을 아버지께 받아서 너희 보고 듣는 이것을 부어 주셨느니라
2:33 And so, being lifted up to the right hand of God, and having the Father's word that the Holy Spirit would come, he has sent this thing, which now you see and have knowledge of.
2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) he has shed forth this, which all of you now see and hear.

2:34 다윗은 하늘에 올라가지 못하였으나 친히 말하여 가로되  주께서 내 주에게 말씀하시기를
2:34 For David has not gone up into heaven, but says, himself, The Lord said to my Lord, Be seated at my right hand,
2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he says himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,

2:35 내가 네 원수로 네 발등상 되게 하기까지 너는 내 우편에 앉았으라 하셨도다  하였으니
2:35 Till I put all those who are against you under your feet.
2:35 Until I make your foes your footstool.

2:36 그런즉 이스라엘 온 집이 정녕 알지니 너희가 십자가에 못 박은 이 예수를 하나님이 주와 그리스도가 되게 하셨느니라 하니라
2:36 For this reason, let all Israel be certain that this Jesus, whom you put to death on the cross, God has made Lord and Christ.
2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made the same Jesus, whom all of you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

2:37 ○ 저희가 이 말을 듣고 마음에 찔려 베드로와 다른 사도들에게 물어 가로되 형제들아 우리가 어찌할꼬 하거늘
2:37 Now when these words came to their ears their hearts were troubled, and they said to Peter and the other Apostles, Brothers, what are we to do?
2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

2:38 베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 세례를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니
2:38 And Peter said, Let your hearts be changed, every one of you, and have baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will have the Holy Spirit given to you.
2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and all of you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

2:39 이 약속은 너희와 너희 자녀와 모든 먼 데 사람 곧 주 우리 하나님이 얼마든지 부르시는 자들에게 하신 것이라 하고
2:39 For the word of God is for you and for your children and for all those who are far off, even all those who may be marked out by the Lord our God.
2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are far off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

2:40 또 여러 말로 확증하며 권하여 가로되 너희가 이 패역한 세대에서 구원을 받으라 하니
2:40 And with more such words he gave his witness, offering them salvation and saying, Come out from this evil generation.
2:40 And with many other words (o. logos) did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

2:41 그 말을 받는 사람들은 세례를 받으매 이 날에 제자의 수가 삼천이나 더하더라
2:41 Then those who gave hearing to his words had baptism: and about three thousand souls were joined to them that day.
2:41 Then they that gladly received his word (o. logos) were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

2:42 저희가 사도의 가르침을 받아 서로 교제하며 떡을 떼며 기도하기를 전혀 힘쓰니라
2:42 And they kept their attention fixed on the Apostles' teaching and were united together in the taking of broken bread and in prayer.
2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

2:43 ○ 사람마다 두려워하는데 사도들로 인하여 기사와 표적이 많이 나타나니
2:43 But fear came on every soul: and all sorts of wonders and signs were done by the Apostles.
2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

2:44 믿는 사람이 다 함께 있어 모든 물건을 서로 통용하고
2:44 And all those who were of the faith kept together, and had all things in common;
2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

2:45 또 재산과 소유를 팔아 각 사람의 필요를 따라 나눠 주고
2:45 And exchanging their goods and property for money, they made division of it among them all, as they had need.
2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

2:46 날마다 마음을 같이 하여 성전에 모이기를 힘쓰고 집에서 떡을 떼며 기쁨과 순전한 마음으로 음식을 먹고
2:46 And day by day, going in agreement together regularly to the Temple and, taking broken bread together in their houses, they took their food with joy and with true hearts,
2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

2:47 하나님을 찬미하며 또 온 백성에게 칭송을 받으니 주께서 구원 받는 사람을 날마다 더하게 하시니라
2:47 Giving praise to God, and having the approval of all the people; and every day the number of those who had salvation was increased by the Lord.
2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

 사도행전 3장 /

3:1 제 구 시 기도 시간에 베드로와 요한이 성전에 올라갈새
3:1 Now Peter and John were going up to the Temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer;
3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

3:2 나면서 앉은뱅이 된 자를 사람들이 메고 오니 이는 성전에 들어가는 사람들에게 구걸하기 위하여 날마다 미문이라는 성전 문에 두는 자라
3:2 And a certain man who from birth had had no power in his legs, was taken there every day, and put down at the door of the Temple which is named Beautiful, requesting money from those who went into the Temple;
3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3:3 그가 베드로와 요한이 성전에 들어가려 함을 보고 구걸하거늘
3:3 He then, seeing Peter and John going into the Temple, made a request to them.
3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

3:4 베드로가 요한으로 더불어 주목하여 가로되 우리를 보라 하니
3:4 And Peter, looking at him, with John, said, Keep your eyes on us.
3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

3:5 그가 저희에게 무엇을 얻을까 하여 바라보거늘
3:5 And he gave attention to them, hoping to get something from them.
3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

3:6 베드로가 가로되 은과 금은 내게 없거니와 내게 있는 것으로 네게 주노니 곧 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 걸으라 하고
3:6 But Peter said, I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up on your feet.
3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

3:7 오른손을 잡아 일으키니 발과 발목이 곧 힘을 얻고
3:7 And he took him by his right hand, lifting him up; and straight away his feet and the bones of his legs became strong,
3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

3:8 뛰어 서서 걸으며 그들과 함께 성전으로 들어가면서 걷기도 하고 뛰기도 하며 하나님을 찬미하니
3:8 And, jumping up, he got on to his feet and went into the Temple with them, walking and jumping and giving praise to God.
3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

3:9 모든 백성이 그 걷는 것과 및 하나님을 찬미함을 보고
3:9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
3:9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

3:10 그 본래 성전 미문에 앉아 구걸하던 사람인 줄 알고 그의 당한 일을 인하여 심히 기이히 여기며 놀라니라
3:10 And they saw that it was the man who made requests for money at the door of the Temple, and they were full of wonder and surprise at what had taken place.
3:10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

3:11 ○ 나은 사람이 베드로와 요한을 붙잡으니 모든 백성이 크게 놀라며 달려 나아가 솔로몬의 행각이라 칭하는 행각에 모이거늘
3:11 And while he kept his hands on Peter and John, all the people came running together to the covered way which is named Solomon's, full of wonder.
3:11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

3:12 베드로가 이것을 보고 백성에게 말하되 이스라엘 사람들아 이 일을 왜 기이히 여기느냐 우리 개인의 권능과 경건으로 이 사람을 걷게 한 것처럼 왜 우리를 주목하느냐
3:12 And when Peter saw it he said to the people, You men of Israel, why are you so greatly surprised at this man? or why are you looking at us as if by our power or virtue we had given him the use of his legs?
3:12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, All of you men of Israel, why marvel all of you at this? or why look all of you so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

3:13 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님 곧 우리 조상의 하나님이 그 종 예수를 영화롭게 하셨느니라 너희가 저를 넘겨 주고 빌라도가 놓아 주기로 결안한 것을 너희가 그 앞에서 부인하였으니
3:13 The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has given glory to his servant Jesus; whom you gave up, turning your backs on him, when Pilate had made the decision to let him go free.
3:13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus; whom all of you delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

3:14 너희가 거룩하고 의로운 자를 부인하고 도리어 살인한 사람을 놓아 주기를 구하여
3:14 But you would have nothing to do with the Holy and Upright One, and made request for a man of blood to be given to you,
3:14 But all of you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

3:15 생명의 주를 죽였도다 그러나 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 살리셨으니 우리가 이 일에 증인이로라
3:15 And put to death the Lord of life; whom God gave back from the dead; of which fact we are witnesses.
3:15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

3:16 그 이름을 믿으므로 그 이름이 너희 보고 아는 이 사람을 성하게 하였나니 예수로 말미암아 난 믿음이 너희 모든 사람 앞에서 이같이 완전히 낫게 하였느니라
3:16 And his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and have knowledge of: yes, the faith which is through him has made him well, before you all.
3:16 And his name through faith in his name has made this man strong, whom all of you see and know: yea, the faith which is by him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

3:17 형제들아 너희가 알지 못하여서 그리하였으며 너희 관원들도 그리한 줄 아노라
3:17 And now, my brothers, I am conscious that you did this, as did your rulers, without knowledge.
3:17 And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance all of you did it, as did also your rulers.

3:18 그러나 하나님이 모든 선지자의 입을 의탁하사 자기의 그리스도의 해 받으실 일을 미리 알게 하신 것을 이와 같이 이루셨느니라
3:18 But the things which God had made clear before, by the mouth of all the prophets, that the Christ would have to undergo, he has put into effect in this way.
3:18 But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he has so fulfilled.

3:19 그러므로 너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄 없이 함을 받으라 이같이 하면 유쾌하게 되는 날이 주 앞으로부터 이를 것이요
3:19 So then, let your hearts be changed and be turned to God, so that your sins may be completely taken away, and times of blessing may come from the Lord;
3:19 Repent all of you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

3:20 또 주께서 너희를 위하여 예정하신 그리스도 곧 예수를 보내시리니
3:20 And that he may send the Christ who was marked out for you from the first, even Jesus:
3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

3:21 하나님이 영원 전부터 거룩한 선지자의 입을 의탁하여 말씀하신 바 만유를 회복하실 때까지는 하늘이 마땅히 그를 받아 두리라
3:21 Who is to be kept in heaven till the time when all things are put right, of which God has given word by the mouth of his holy prophets, who have been from the earliest times.
3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

3:22 모세가 말하되 주 하나님이 너희를 위하여 너희 형제 가운데서 나 같은 선지자 하나를 세울 것이니 너희가 무엇이든지 그 모든 말씀을 들을 것이라
3:22 For Moses said, The Lord will give you a prophet from among your people, like me; you will give ear to everything which he will say to you.
3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall all of you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

3:23 누구든지 그 선지자의 말을 듣지 아니하는 자는 백성 중에서 멸망 받으리라 하였고
3:23 And every soul who does not give attention to that prophet, will be cut off from among the people.
3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

3:24 또한 사무엘 때부터 옴으로 말한 모든 선지자도 이 때를 가리켜 말하였느니라
3:24 And all the prophets from Samuel and those who came after, every one of them, gave word of these days.
3:24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

3:25 너희는 선지자들의 자손이요 또 하나님이 너희 조상으로 더불어 세우신 언약의 자손이라 아브라함에게 이르시기를 땅 위의 모든 족속이 너의 씨를 인하여 복을 받으리라 하셨으니
3:25 You are the sons of the prophets, and of the agreement which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, Through your seed a blessing will come on all the families of the earth.
3:25 All of you are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

3:26 하나님이 그 종을 세워 복 주시려고 너희에게 먼저 보내사 너희로 하여금 돌이켜 각각 그 악함을 버리게 하셨느니라
3:26 To you, first, God sent his servant, blessing you by turning every one of you from his sins.
3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

 사도행전 4장 /

4:1 사도들이 백성에게 말할 때에 제사장들과 성전 맡은 자와 사두개인들이 이르러
4:1 And while they were talking to the people, the priests and the captain of the Temple and the Sadducees came up to them,
4:1 And as they spoke unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

4:2 백성을 가르침과 예수를 들어 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하는 도 전함을 싫어하여
4:2 Being greatly troubled because they were teaching the people and preaching Jesus as an example of the coming back from the dead.
4:2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

4:3 저희를 잡으매 날이 이미 저문 고로 이튿날까지 가두었으나
4:3 And they took them and put them in prison till the morning, for it was now evening.
4:3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now evening.

4:4 말씀을 들은 사람 중에 믿는 자가 많으니 남자의 수가 약 오천이나 되었더라
4:4 But a number of those who gave hearing to the word had faith; and they were now about five thousand.
4:4 Nevertheless many of them which heard the word (o. logos) believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

4:5 ○ 이튿날에 관원과 장로와 서기관들이 예루살렘에 모였는데
4:5 And on the day after, the rulers and those in authority and the scribes came together in Jerusalem;
4:5 And it came to pass on the next day, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

4:6 대제사장 안나스와 가야바와 요한과 알렉산더와 및 대제사장의 문중이 다 참예하여
4:6 And Annas, the high priest, was there, and Caiaphas and John and Alexander, and all the relations of the high priest.
4:6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

4:7 사도들을 가운데 세우고 묻되 너희가 무슨 권세와 뉘 이름으로 이 일을 행하였느냐
4:7 Then sending for Peter and John, they said, By what power and in whose name have you done this?
4:7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have all of you done this?

4:8 이에 베드로가 성령이 충만하여 가로되 백성의 관원과 장로들아
4:8 Then Peter, being full of the Holy Spirit, said to them, O you rulers of the people and men of authority,
4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) said unto them, All of you rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

4:9 만일 병인에게 행한 착한 일에 대하여 이 사람이 어떻게 구원을 얻었느냐고 오늘 우리에게 질문하면
4:9 If we are questioned today about a good work done to a man who was ill, as to how he has been made well,
4:9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

4:10 너희와 모든 이스라엘 백성들은 알라 너희가 십자가에 못 박고 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 이 사람이 건강하게 되어 너희 앞에 섰느니라
4:10 Take note, all of you, and all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you put to death on the cross, whom God gave back from the dead, even through him is this man now before you completely well.
4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom all of you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.

4:11 이 예수는 너희 건축자들의 버린 돌로서 집 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었느니라
4:11 He is the stone which you builders had no use for, but which has been made the chief stone of the building.
4:11 This is the stone which was set at nothing of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

4:12 다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라
4:12 And in no other is there salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we may have salvation.
4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

4:13 ○ 저희가 베드로와 요한이 기탄 없이 말함을 보고 그 본래 학문 없는 범인으로 알았다가 이상히 여기며 또 그 전에 예수와 함께 있던 줄도 알고
4:13 Now when they saw that Peter and John were without fear, though they were men of no education or learning, they were greatly surprised; and they took note of them that they had been with Jesus.
4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

4:14 또 병 나은 사람이 그들과 함께 섰는 것을 보고 힐난할 말이 없는지라
4:14 And, seeing that the man who had been made well was there with them, they were not able to say anything against it.
4:14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

4:15 명하여 공회에서 나가라 하고 서로 의논하여 가로되
4:15 But when they had given them orders to go out of the Sanhedrin, they had a discussion among themselves,
4:15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

4:16 이 사람들을 어떻게 할꼬 저희로 인하여 유명한 표적 나타난 것이 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람에게 알려졌으니 우리도 부인할 수 없는지라
4:16 Saying, What are we to do with these men? for certainly it is clear to all who are living in Jerusalem that a most important sign has been done by them, and it is not possible to say that it is not so.
4:16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle has been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

4:17 이것이 민간에 더 퍼지지 못하게 저희를 위협하여 이 후에는 이 이름으로 아무 사람에게도 말하지 말게 하자 하고
4:17 But so that it may not go farther among the people, let us put them in fear of punishment if they say anything in future in this name.
4:17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us strictly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

4:18 그들을 불러 경계하여 도무지 예수의 이름으로 말하지도 말고 가르치지도 말라 하니
4:18 And they sent for them, and gave them orders not to make statements or give teaching in the name of Jesus.
4:18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

4:19 베드로와 요한이 대답하여 가로되 하나님 앞에서 너희 말 듣는 것이 하나님 말씀 듣는 것보다 옳은가 판단하라
4:19 But Peter and John in answer said to them, It is for you to say if it is right in the eyes of God to give attention to you more than to God:
4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge all of you.

4:20 우리는 보고 들은 것을 말하지 아니할 수 없다 하니
4:20 For it is not possible for us to keep from saying what we have seen and have knowledge of.
4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

4:21 관원들이 백성을 인하여 저희를 어떻게 벌할 도리를 찾지 못하고 다시 위협하여 놓아 주었으니 이는 모든 사람이 그 된 일을 보고 하나님께 영광을 돌림이러라
4:21 And when they had said more sharp words to them, they let them go, not seeing what punishment they might give them, because of the people; for all men were giving praise to God for what had taken place.
4:21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

4:22 이 표적으로 병 나은 사람은 사십 여 세나 되었더라
4:22 For the man on whom this act of power was done was more than forty years old.
4:22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was showed.

4:23 ○ 사도들이 놓이매 그 동류에게 가서 제사장들과 장로들의 말을 다 고하니
4:23 And when they had been made free, they came back to their friends, and gave an account of all the things which the chief priests and the authorities had said to them.
4:23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

4:24 저희가 듣고 일심으로 하나님께 소리를 높여 가로되 대주재여 천지와 바다와 그 가운데 만유를 지은 이시오
4:24 And hearing it, they all, with one mind, made prayer to God and said, O Lord, maker of heaven and earth and the sea and all things in them:
4:24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, you are God, which have made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

4:25 또 주의 종 우리 조상 다윗의 입을 의탁하사 성령으로 말씀하시기를   어찌하여 열방이 분노하며 족속들이 허사를 경영하였는고
4:25 Who has said, by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David your servant, Why are the nations so violently moved, and why are the thoughts of the people so foolish?
4:25 Who by the mouth of your servant David have said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

4:26 세상의 군왕들이 나서며 관원들이 함께 모여 주와 그 그리스도를 대적하도다  하신 이로소이다
4:26 The kings of the earth were lifted up, the rulers came together, against the Lord, and against his Christ:
4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

4:27 과연 헤롯과 본디오 빌라도는 이방인과 이스라엘 백성과 합동하여 하나님의 기름 부으신 거룩한 종 예수를 거스려
4:27 For, truly, in this town, against your holy servant, Jesus, who was marked out by you as Christ, Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, came together,
4:27 For truthfully against your holy child Jesus, whom you have anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

4:28 하나님의 권능과 뜻대로 이루려고 예정하신 그것을 행하려고 이 성에 모였나이다
4:28 To do that which had been fixed before by your hand and your purpose.
4:28 In order to do whatsoever your hand and your counsel determined before to be done.

4:29 주여 이제도 저희의 위협함을 하감하옵시고 또 종들로 하여금 담대히 하나님의 말씀을 전하게 하여 주옵시며
4:29 And now, Lord, take note of their cruel words, and give your servants power to be preachers of your word without fear,
4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto your servants, that with all boldness they may speak your word, (o. logos)

4:30 손을 내밀어 병을 낫게 하옵시고 표적과 기사가 거룩한 종 예수의 이름으로 이루어지게 하옵소서 하더라
4:30 While your hand is stretched out to do works of mercy; so that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.
4:30 By stretching forth yours hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of your holy child Jesus.

4:31 빌기를 다하매 모인 곳이 진동하더니 무리가 다 성령이 충만하여 담대히 하나님의 말씀을 전하니라
4:31 And when their prayer was ended, the place where they were was violently moved, and they all became full of the Holy Spirit, preaching the word of God without fear.
4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and they spoke the word (o. logos) of God with boldness.

4:32 ○ 믿는 무리가 한 마음과 한 뜻이 되어 모든 물건을 서로 통용하고 제 재물을 조금이라도 제 것이라 하는 이가 하나도 없더라
4:32 And all those who were of the faith were one in heart and soul: and not one of them said that any of the things which he had was his property only; but they had all things in common.
4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

4:33 사도들이 큰 권능으로 주 예수의 부활을 증거하니 무리가 큰 은혜를 얻어
4:33 And with great power the Apostles gave witness of the coming back of the Lord Jesus from the dead; and grace was on them all.
4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

4:34 그 중에 핍절한 사람이 없으니 이는 밭과 집 있는 자는 팔아 그 판 것의 값을 가져다가
4:34 And no one among them was in need; for everyone who had land or houses, exchanging them for money, took the price of them,
4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

4:35 사도들의 발 앞에 두매 저희가 각 사람의 필요를 따라 나눠 줌이러라
4:35 And put it at the feet of the Apostles for distribution to everyone as he had need.
4:35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

4:36 ○ 구브로에서 난 레위족 인이 있으니 이름은 요셉이라 사도들이 일컬어 바나바 {번역하면 권위자}라 하니
4:36 And Joseph, who was given by the Apostles the name of Barnabas (the sense of which is, Son of comfort), a Levite and a man of Cyprus by birth,
4:36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

4:37 그가 밭이 있으매 팔아 값을 가지고 사도들의 발 앞에 두니라
4:37 Having a field, got money for it and put the money at the feet of the Apostles.

5:1 아나니아라 하는 사람이 그 아내 삽비라로 더불어 소유를 팔아
5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, got money for his property,
5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

5:2 그 값에서 얼마를 감추매 그 아내도 알더라 얼마를 가져다가 사도들의 발 앞에 두니
5:2 And kept back part of the price, his wife having knowledge of it, and took the rest and put it at the feet of the Apostles.
5:2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

5:3 베드로가 가로되 아나니아야 어찌하여 사단이 네 마음에 가득하여 네가 성령을 속이고 땅 값 얼마를 감추었느냐
5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has the Evil One put it into your heart to be false to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled yours heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and to keep back part of the price of the land?

5:4 땅이 그대로 있을 때에는 네 땅이 아니며 판 후에도 네 임의로 할 수가 없더냐 어찌하여 이 일을 네 마음에 두었느냐 사람에게 거짓말한 것이 아니요 하나님께로다
5:4 While you had it, was it not your property? and after you had given it in exchange, was it not still in your power? how has this purpose come into your mind? you have been false, not to men, but to God.
5:4 While it remained, was it not yours own? and after it was sold, was it not in yours own power? why have you conceived this thing in yours heart? you have not lied unto men, but unto God.

5:5 아나니아가 이 말을 듣고 엎드러져 혼이 떠나니 이 일을 듣는 사람이 다 크게 두려워하더라
5:5 And at these words, Ananias went down on the earth, and his life went from him: and great fear came on all who were present.
5:5 And Ananias hearing these words (o. logos) fell down, and gave up the spirit: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

5:6 젊은 사람들이 일어나 시신을 싸서 메고 나가 장사하니라
5:6 And the young men went and made ready his body, and took it out, and put it in the earth.
5:6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

5:7 ○ 세 시간쯤 지나 그 아내가 그 생긴 일을 알지 못하고 들어오니
5:7 And about three hours after, his wife, having no knowledge of what had taken place, came in.
5:7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

5:8 베드로가 가로되 그 땅 판 값이 이것뿐이냐 내게 말하라 하니 가로되 예 이뿐이로라
5:8 And Peter said to her, Give me an answer: was this amount of money the price of the land? And she said, Yes, it was.
5:8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether all of you sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

5:9 베드로가 가로되 너희가 어찌 함께 꾀하여 주의 영을 시험하려 하느냐 보라 네 남편을 장사하고 오는 사람들의 발이 문 앞에 이르렀으니 또 너를 메어 내가리라 한 대
5:9 But Peter said to her, Why have you made an agreement together to be false to the Spirit of the Lord? See, the feet of the young men who have put the body of your husband in the earth, are at the door, and they will take you out.
5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that all of you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit (o. pneuma) of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried your husband are at the door, and shall carry you out.

5:10 곧 베드로의 발 앞에 엎드러져 혼이 떠나는지라 젊은 사람들이 들어와 죽은 것을 보고 메어다가 그 남편 곁에 장사하니
5:10 And straight away she went down at his feet, and her life went from her: and the young men came in and saw her dead, and they took her out and put her in the earth with her husband.
5:10 Then fell she down immediately at his feet, and yielded up the spirit: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

5:11 온 교회와 이 일을 듣는 사람들이 다 크게 두려워하니라
5:11 Then great fear came on all the church and on all who had knowledge of these things.
5:11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

5:12 ○ 사도들의 손으로 민간에 표적과 기사가 많이 되매 믿는 사람이 다 마음을 같이하여 솔로몬 행각에 모이고
5:12 Now a number of signs and wonders were done among the people by the hands of the Apostles; and they were all together in Solomon's covered way.
5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

5:13 그 나머지는 감히 그들과 상종하는 사람이 없으나 백성이 칭송하더라
5:13 The others, in fear, kept back from joining them: but the people made much of them;
5:13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

5:14 믿고 주께로 나오는 자가 더 많으니 남녀의 큰 무리더라
5:14 And a great number of men and women had faith, and were joined to the Lord;
5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

5:15 심지어 병든 사람을 메고 거리에 나가 침대와 요 위에 뉘우고 베드로가 지날 때에 혹 그 그림자라도 뉘게 덮일까 바라고
5:15 And they even took into the streets people who were ill, and put them on beds, so that when Peter went by, some of them might be in his shade.
5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

5:16 예루살렘 근읍 허다한 사람들도 모여 병든 사람과 더러운 귀신에게 괴로움 받는 사람을 데리고 와서 다 나음을 얻으니라
5:16 And numbers of people came together from the towns round about Jerusalem, with those who were ill and those who were troubled with unclean spirits: and they were all made well.
5:16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: (o. pneuma) and they were healed every one.

5:17 ○ 대제사장과 그와 함께 있는 사람 즉 사두개인의 당파가 다 마음에 시기가 가득하여 일어나서
5:17 But the high priest and those who were with him (the Sadducees) were full of envy,
5:17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

5:18 사도들을 잡아다가 옥에 가두었더니
5:18 And they took the Apostles and put them in the common prison.
5:18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

5:19 주의 사자가 밤에 옥문을 열고 끌어내어 가로되
5:19 But in the night an angel of the Lord, opening the doors of the prison, took them out and said,
5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

5:20 가서 성전에 서서 이 생명의 말씀을 다 백성에게 말하라 하매
5:20 Go, take your place in the Temple and give the people all the teaching about this Life.
5:20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words (o. rhema) of this life.

5:21 저희가 듣고 새벽에 성전에 들어가서 가르치더니 대제사장과 그와 함께 있는 사람들이 와서 공회와 이스라엘 족속의 원로들을 다 모으고 사람을 옥에 보내어 사도들을 잡아오라 하니
5:21 And hearing this, they went into the Temple at dawn, and were teaching. But the high priest and those who were with him got together the Sanhedrin and the representatives of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to get them.
5:21 And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

5:22 관속들이 가서 옥에서 사도들을 보지 못하고 돌아와 말하여
5:22 But the men who were sent saw that they were not in the prison, and came back with the news,
5:22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and told,

5:23 가로되 우리가 보니 옥은 든든하게 잠기고 지킨 사람들이 문에 섰으되 문을 열고 본즉 그 안에는 한 사람도 없더이다 하니
5:23 Saying, The doors of the prison were safely shut, and the keepers were at the doors, but when they were open, there was nobody inside.
5:23 Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

5:24 성전 맡은 자와 제사장들이 이 말을 듣고 의혹하여 이 일이 어찌 될까 하더니
5:24 Now, at these words, the captain of the Temple and the chief priests were greatly troubled about what might be the end of this business.
5:24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, (o. logos) they doubted of them unto which this would grow.

5:25 사람이 와서 고하되 보소서 옥에 가두었던 사람들이 성전에 서서 백성을 가르치더이다 하니
5:25 And someone came and said to them, The men, whom you put in prison, are in the Temple teaching the people.
5:25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom all of you put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

5:26 성전 맡은 자가 관속들과 같이 가서 저희를 잡아왔으나 강제로 못함은 백성들이 돌로 칠까 두려워함이러라
5:26 Then the captain and some of the police went and took them, but not violently, for fear that they might be stoned by the people.
5:26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

5:27 저희를 끌어다가 공회 앞에 세우니 대제사장이 물어
5:27 And they took them into the Sanhedrin, and the high priest said to them,
5:27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

5:28 가로되 우리가 이 이름으로 사람을 가르치지 말라고 엄금하였으되 너희가 너희 교를 예루살렘에 가득하게 하니 이 사람의 피를 우리에게로 돌리고자 함이로다
5:28 We gave you very clear orders not to give teaching in this name: and now Jerusalem is full of your teaching, and you are attempting to make us responsible for this man's death.
5:28 Saying, Did not we strictly command you that all of you should not teach in this name? and, behold, all of you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

5:29 베드로와 사도들이 대답하여 가로되 사람보다 하나님을 순종하는 것이 마땅하니라
5:29 But Peter and the Apostles, answering, said, We have to do the orders of God, not of man.
5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

5:30 너희가 나무에 달아 죽인 예수를 우리 조상의 하나님이 살리시고
5:30 The God of our fathers gave Jesus back to life, whom you had put to death, hanging him on a tree.
5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom all of you slew and hanged on a tree.

5:31 이스라엘로 회개케 하사 죄 사함을 얻게 하시려고 그를 오른손으로 높이사 임금과 구주를 삼으셨느니라
5:31 Him God has put on high at his right hand, as a Ruler and a Saviour, to give to Israel a change of heart and forgiveness of sins.
5:31 Him has God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, in order to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

5:32 우리는 이 일에 증인이요 하나님이 자기를 순종하는 사람들에게 주신 성령도 그러하니라 하더라
5:32 And we are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who keep his laws.
5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; (o. rhema) and so is also the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) whom God has given to them that obey him.

5:33 ○ 저희가 듣고 크게 노하여 사도들을 없이하고자 할새
5:33 But when these words came to their ears, they were cut to the heart, and had a mind to put them to death.
5:33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

5:34 바리새인 가말리엘은 교법사로 모든 백성에게 존경을 받는 자라 공회 중에 일어나 명하사 사도들을 잠간 밖에 나가게 하고
5:34 But one of the Sanhedrin, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a man of learning in the law, of whom all the people had a high opinion, got up and made a suggestion for the men to be put outside for a little time.
5:34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

5:35 말하되 이스라엘 사람들아 너희가 이 사람들에게 대하여 어떻게 하려는 것을 조심하라
5:35 And he said to them, Men of Israel, take care what you do about these men.
5:35 And said unto them, All of you men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what all of you intend to do as concerning these men.

5:36 이전에 드다가 일어나 스스로 자랑하매 사람이 약 사백이나 따르더니 그가 죽임을 당하매 좇던 사람이 다 흩어져 없어졌고
5:36 For before this there was Theudas, who said he was someone important, to whom about four hundred men gave their support: he was put to death, and his band was broken up and came to nothing.
5:36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nothing.

5:37 그 후 호적할 때에 갈릴리 유다가 일어나 백성을 꾀어 좇게 하다가 그도 망한즉 좇던 사람이 다 흩어졌느니라
5:37 After this man, there was Judas of Galilee, at the time of the numbering, and some of the people went after him: he was put to death, and all his supporters were put to flight.
5:37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

5:38 이제 내가 너희에게 말하노니 이 사람들을 상관 말고 버려 두라 이 사상과 소행이 사람에게로서 났으면 무너질 것이요
5:38 And now I say to you, Do nothing to these men, but let them be: for if this teaching or this work is of men, it will come to nothing:
5:38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nothing:

5:39 만일 하나님께로서 났으면 너희가 저희를 무너뜨릴 수 없겠고 도리어 하나님을 대적하는 자가 될까 하노라 하니
5:39 But if it is of God, you will not be able to overcome them, and you are in danger of fighting against God.
5:39 But if it be of God, all of you cannot overthrow it; lest lest by any means all of you be found even to fight against God.

5:40 저희가 옳게 여겨 사도들을 불러들여 채찍질하며 예수의 이름으로 말하는 것을 금하고 놓으니
5:40 And he seemed to them to be right: and they sent for the Apostles, and, after having them whipped and giving them orders to give no teaching in the name of Jesus, they let them go.
5:40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

5:41 사도들은 그 이름을 위하여 능욕 받는 일에 합당한 자로 여기심을 기뻐하면서 공회 앞을 떠나니라
5:41 So they went away from the Sanhedrin, happy to undergo shame for the Name.
5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

5:42 저희가 날마다 성전에 있든지 집에 있든지 예수는 그리스도라 가르치기와 전도하기를 쉬지 아니하니라
5:42 And every day, in the Temple and privately, they went on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

 사도행전 6장 /

6:1 그 때에 제자가 더 많아졌는데 헬라파 유대인들이 자기의 과부들이 그 매일 구제에 빠지므로 히브리파 사람을 원망한 대
6:1 Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was increasing, protests were made by the Greek Jews against the Hebrews, because their widows were not taken care of in the distribution of food every day.
6:1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

6:2 열 두 사도가 모든 제자를 불러 이르되 우리가 하나님의 말씀을 제쳐 놓고 공궤를 일삼는 것이 마땅치 아니하니
6:2 And the Apostles sent for all the disciples and said, It is not right for us to give up preaching the word of God in order to make distribution of food.
6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word (o. logos) of God, and serve tables.

6:3 형제들아 너희 가운데서 성령과 지혜가 충만하여 칭찬 듣는 사람 일곱을 택하라 우리가 이 일을 저희에게 맡기고
6:3 Take then from among you seven men of good name, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, to whom we may give control of this business.
6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look all of you out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

6:4 우리는 기도하는 것과 말씀 전하는 것을 전무하리라 하니
6:4 Then we will give all our time to prayer and the teaching of the word.
6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. (o. logos)

6:5 온 무리가 이 말을 기뻐하여 믿음과 성령이 충만한 사람 스데반과 또 빌립과 브로고로와 니가노르와 디몬과 바메나와 유대교에 입교한 안디옥 사람 니골라를 택하여
6:5 And this saying was pleasing to all of them: and they made selection of Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip and Prochorus and Nicanor and Timon and Parmenas and Nicolas of Antioch, who had become a Jew:
6:5 And the saying (o. logos) pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

6:6 사도들 앞에 세우니 사도들이 기도하고 그들에게 안수하니라
6:6 These they took to the Apostles, who, after prayer, put their hands on them.
6:6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

6:7 ○ 하나님의 말씀이 점점 왕성하여 예루살렘에 있는 제자의 수가 더 심히 많아지고 허다한 제사장의 무리도 이 도에 복종하니라
6:7 And the word of God was increasing in power; and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem became very great, and a great number of priests were in agreement with the faith.
6:7 And the word (o. logos) of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

6:8 ○ 스데반이 은혜와 권능이 충만하여 큰 기사와 표적을 민간에 행하니
6:8 And Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.
6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

6:9 리버디노 구레네인, 알렉산드리아인, 길리기아와 아시아에서 온 사람들의 회당이라는 각 회당에서 어떤 자들이 일어나 스데반으로 더불어 변론할새
6:9 But some of those who were of the Synagogue named that of the Libertines, and some of the men of Cyrene and of Alexandria and those from Cilicia and Asia, had arguments with Stephen.
6:9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

6:10 스데반이 지혜와 성령으로 말함을 저희가 능히 당치 못하여
6:10 But they were not able to get the better of him, for his words were full of wisdom and of the Spirit.
6:10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit (o. pneuma) by which he spoke.

6:11 사람들을 가르쳐 말시키되 이 사람이 모세와 및 하나님을 모독하는 말 하는 것을 우리가 들었노라 하게 하고
6:11 Then they got men to say, He has said evil against Moses and against God, in our hearing.
6:11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words (o. rhema) against Moses, and against God.

6:12 백성과 장로와 서기관들을 충동시켜 와서 잡아가지고 공회에 이르러
6:12 And the people, with the rulers and the scribes, were moved against him, and they came and took him before the Sanhedrin,
6:12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

6:13 거짓 증인들을 세우니 가로되 이 사람이 이 거룩한 곳과 율법을 거스려 말하기를 마지 아니하는도다
6:13 And they got false witnesses who said, This man is for ever saying things against this holy place and against the law:
6:13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceases not to speak blasphemous words (o. rhema) against this holy place, and the law:

6:14 그의 말에 이 나사렛 예수가 이곳을 헐고 또 모세가 우리에게 전하여 준 규례를 고치겠다 함을 우리가 들었노라 하거늘
6:14 For he has said in our hearing that this Jesus of Nazareth will put this place to destruction and make changes in the rules which were handed down to us by Moses.
6:14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

6:15 공회 중에 앉은 사람들이 다 스데반을 주목하여 보니 그 얼굴이 천사의 얼굴과 같더라
6:15 And all those who were in the Sanhedrin, looking at him, saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
6:15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

 사도행전 7장 /

7:1 대제사장이 가로되 이것이 사실이냐
7:1 Then the high priest said, Are these things true?
7:1 Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

7:2 스데반이 가로되 여러분 부형들이여 들으소서 우리 조상 아브라함이 하란에 있기 전 메소보다미아에 있을 때에 영광의 하나님이 그에게 보여
7:2 And he said, My brothers and fathers, give hearing. The God of glory came to our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he was living in Haran,
7:2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

7:3 가라사대 네 고향과 친척을 떠나 내가 네게 보일 땅으로 가라 하시니
7:3 And said to him, Go out of your land, and away from your family, and come into the land to which I will be your guide.
7:3 And said unto him, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and come into the land which I shall show you.

7:4 아브라함이 갈대아 사람의 땅을 떠나 하란에 거하다가 그 아비가 죽으매 하나님이 그를 거기서 너희 시방 거하는 이 땅으로 옮기셨느니라
7:4 Then he came out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and went into Haran; and from there, when his father was dead, he was guided by God into this land, where you are living now:
7:4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein all of you now dwell.

7:5 그러나 여기서 발 붙일 만큼도 유업을 주지 아니하시고 다만 이 땅을 아직 자식도 없는 저와 저의 씨에게 소유로 주신다고 약속하셨으며
7:5 And God gave him no heritage in it, not even enough to put his foot on: but he gave him an undertaking that he would give it to him and to his children after him, though he had no child at that time.
7:5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

7:6 하나님이 또 이같이 말씀하시되 그 씨가 다른 땅에 나그네 되리니 그 땅 사람이 종을 삼아 사백 년 동안을 괴롭게 하리라 하시고
7:6 And God said that his seed would be living in a strange land, and that they would make them servants, and be cruel to them for four hundred years.
7:6 And God spoke likewise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and plead them evil four hundred years.

7:7 또 가라사대 종 삼는 나라를 내가 심판하리니 그 후에 저희가 나와서 이곳에서 나를 섬기리라 하시고
7:7 And I will be the judge, said God, of that nation which made them servants: and after that, they will come out and give me worship in this place.
7:7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

7:8 할례의 언약을 아브라함에게 주셨더니 그가 이삭을 낳아 여드레 만에 할례를 행하고 이삭이 야곱을, 야곱이 우리 열 두 조상을 낳으니
7:8 And he made with him the agreement of which circumcision was the sign. And so Abraham had a son, Isaac, and gave him circumcision on the eighth day; and Isaac had a son, Jacob, and Jacob was the father of the twelve heads of the families of Israel.
7:8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham brings forth Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac brings forth Jacob; and Jacob brings forth the twelve patriarchs.

7:9 여러 조상이 요셉을 시기하여 애굽에 팔았더니 하나님이 저와 함께 계셔
7:9 And the brothers, moved with envy against Joseph, gave him to the Egyptians for money: but God was with him,
7:9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

7:10 그 모든 환난에서 건져내사 애굽 왕 바로 앞에서 은총과 지혜를 주시매 바로가 저를 애굽과 자기 온 집의 치리자로 세웠느니라
7:10 And made him free from all his troubles, and gave him wisdom and the approval of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and all his house.
7:10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

7:11 그 때에 애굽과 가나안 온 땅에 흉년 들어 큰 환난이 있을새 우리 조상들이 양식이 없는지라
7:11 Now there was no food to be had in all Egypt and Canaan, and there was great trouble: and our fathers were not able to get food.
7:11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

7:12 야곱이 애굽에 곡식 있다는 말을 듣고 먼저 우리 조상들을 보내고
7:12 But Jacob, hearing that there was grain in Egypt, sent out our fathers the first time.
7:12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

7:13 또 재차 보내매 요셉이 자기 형제들에게 알게 되고 또 요셉의 친족이 바로에게 드러나게 되니라
7:13 And the second time his brothers had a meeting with Joseph, and Pharaoh had knowledge of Joseph's family.
7:13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

7:14 요셉이 보내어 그 부친 야곱과 온 친족 일흔 다섯 사람을 청하였더니
7:14 Then Joseph sent for Jacob his father and all his family, seventy-five persons.
7:14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

7:15 야곱이 애굽으로 내려가 자기와 우리 조상들이 거기서 죽고
7:15 And Jacob went down to Egypt, and came to his end there, and so did our fathers;
7:15 So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,

7:16 세겜으로 옮기워 아브라함이 세겜 하몰의 자손에게서 은으로 값 주고 산 무덤에 장사되니라
7:16 And they were taken over to Shechem, and put to rest in the place which Abraham got for a price in silver from the sons of Hamor in Shechem.
7:16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

7:17 하나님이 아브라함에게 약속하신 때가 가까우매 이스라엘 백성이 애굽에서 번성하여 많아졌더니
7:17 But when the time was near for putting into effect the undertaking which God had given to Abraham, the people were increasing in Egypt,
7:17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

7:18 요셉을 알지 못하는 새 임금이 애굽 왕위에 오르매
7:18 Till another king came to power, who had no knowledge of Joseph.
7:18 Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

7:19 그가 우리 족속에게 궤계를 써서 조상들을 괴롭게 하여 그 어린 아이들을 내어버려 살지 못하게 하려 할새
7:19 He, having evil designs against our nation, was cruel to our fathers, and they were forced to put out their young children, so that they might not go on living.
7:19 The same dealt subtlely with our kindred, and evil pleaded our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

7:20 그 때에 모세가 났는데 하나님 보시기에 아름다운지라 그 부친의 집에서 석 달을 길리우더니
7:20 At which time Moses came to birth, and he was very beautiful; and he was kept for three months in his father's house:
7:20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father's house three months:

7:21 버리운 후에 바로의 딸이 가져다가 자기 아들로 기르매
7:21 And when he was put out, Pharaoh's daughter took him and kept him as her son.
7:21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

7:22 모세가 애굽 사람의 학술을 다 배워 그 말과 행사가 능하더라
7:22 And Moses was trained in all the wisdom of Egypt, and was great in his words and works.
7:22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words (o. logos) and in deeds.

7:23 나이 사십이 되매 그 형제 이스라엘 자손을 돌아볼 생각이 나더니
7:23 But when he was almost forty years old, it came into his heart to go and see his brothers, the children of Israel.
7:23 And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

7:24 한 사람의 원통한 일 당함을 보고 보호하여 압제 받는 자를 위하여 원수를 갚아 애굽 사람을 쳐 죽이니라
7:24 And seeing one of them being attacked, he went to his help and gave the Egyptian a death-blow:
7:24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and stroke the Egyptian:

7:25 저는 그 형제들이 하나님께서 자기의 손을 빌어 구원하여 주시는 것을 깨달으리라고 생각하였으나 저희가 깨닫지 못하였더라
7:25 And he was hoping that his brothers would see that God had sent him to be their saviour; but they did not see.
7:25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

7:26 이튿날 이스라엘 사람이 싸울 때에 모세가 와서 화목시키려 하여 가로되 너희는 형제라 어찌 서로 해하느냐 하니
7:26 And the day after, he came to them, while they were having a fight, and would have made peace between them, saying, Sirs, you are brothers; why do you do wrong to one another?
7:26 And the next day he showed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them to reconcile again, saying, Sirs, all of you are brethren; why do all of you wrong one to another?

7:27 그 동무를 해하는 사람이 모세를 밀뜨려 가로되 누가 너를 관원과 재판장으로 우리 위에 세웠느냐
7:27 But the man who was doing wrong to his neighbour, pushing him away, said, Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?
7:27 But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

7:28 네가 어제 애굽 사람을 죽임과 같이 또 나를 죽이려느냐 하니
7:28 Will you put me to death as you did the Egyptian yesterday?
7:28 Will you kill me, as you did the Egyptian yesterday?

7:29 모세가 이 말을 인하여 도주하여 미디안 땅에서 나그네 되어 거기서 아들 둘을 낳으니라
7:29 And at these words, Moses went in flight to the land of Midian, and was living there for a time, and had two sons.
7:29 Then fled Moses at this saying, (o. logos) and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he brings forth two sons.

7:30 사십 년이 차매 천사가 시내 산 광야 가시나무 떨기 불꽃 가운데서 그에게 보이거늘
7:30 At the end of forty years, an angel came to him in the waste land of Sinai, in the flame of a burning thorn-tree.
7:30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

7:31 모세가 이 광경을 보고 기이히 여겨 알아보려고 가까이 가니 주의 소리 있어
7:31 And Moses, seeing it, was full of wonder, and when he came up to have a nearer view of it, the voice of the Lord came to him, saying,
7:31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the LORD came unto him,

7:32 나는 네 조상의 하나님 즉 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님이로라 하신대 모세가 무서워 감히 알아보지 못하더라
7:32 I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob. And Moses, shaking with fear, kept his eyes from looking at it.
7:32 Saying, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

7:33 주께서 가라사대 네 발의 신을 벗으라 너 섰는 곳은 거룩한 땅이니라
7:33 And the Lord said, Take off the shoes from your feet, for the place where you are is holy.
7:33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off your shoes from your feet: for the place where you stand is holy ground.

7:34 내 백성이 애굽에서 괴로움 받음을 내가 정녕히 보고 그 탄식하는 소리를 듣고 저희를 구원하려고 내려왔노니 시방 내가 너를 애굽으로 보내리라 하시니라
7:34 Truly, I have seen the sorrows of my people in Egypt, and their cries have come to my ears, and I have come down to make them free: and now, come, I will send you to Egypt.
7:34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you into Egypt.

7:35 저희 말이 누가 너를 관원과 재판장으로 세웠느냐 하며 거절하던 그 모세를 하나님은 가시나무 떨기 가운데서 보이던 천사의 손을 의탁하여 관원과 속량하는 자로 보내셨으니
7:35 This Moses, whom they would not have, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? him God sent to be a ruler and a saviour, by the hand of the angel whom he saw in the thorn-tree.
7:35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

7:36 이 사람이 백성을 인도하여 나오게 하고 애굽과 홍해와 광야에서 사십 년간 기사와 표적을 행하였느니라
7:36 This man took them out, having done wonders and signs in Egypt and in the Red Sea and in the waste land, for forty years.
7:36 He brought them out, after that he had showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

7:37 이스라엘 자손을 대하여 하나님이 너희 형제 가운데서 나와 같은 선지자를 세우리라 하던 자가 곧 이 모세라
7:37 This is the same Moses, who said to the children of Israel, God will give you a prophet from among your brothers, like me.
7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall all of you hear.

7:38 시내 산에서 말하던 그 천사와 및 우리 조상들과 함께 광야 교회에 있었고 또 생명의 도를 받아 우리에게 주던 자가 이 사람이라
7:38 This is the man who was in the church in the waste land with the angel who was talking to him in Sinai, and with our fathers; and to him were given the living words of God, so that he might give them to you.
7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

7:39 우리 조상들이 모세에게 복종치 아니하고자 하여 거절하며 그 마음이 도리어 애굽으로 향하여
7:39 By whom our fathers would not be controlled; but they put him on one side, turning back in their hearts to Egypt,
7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

7:40 아론더러 이르되 우리를 인도할 신들을 우리를 위하여 만들라 애굽 땅에서 우리를 인도하던 이 모세는 어떻게 되었는지 알지 못하노라 하고
7:40 And saying to Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: as for this Moses, who took us out of the land of Egypt, we have no idea what has become of him.
7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

7:41 그 때에 저희가 송아지를 만들어 그 우상 앞에 제사하며 자기 손으로 만든 것을 기뻐하더니
7:41 And they made the image of a young ox in those days, and made an offering to it, and had joy in the work of their hands.
7:41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

7:42 하나님이 돌이키사 저희를 그 하늘의 군대 섬기는 일에 버려 두셨으니 이는 선지자의 책에 기록된 바  이스라엘의 집이여 사십 년을 광야에서 너희가 희생과 제물을 내게 드린 일이 있었느냐
7:42 But God was turned from them and let them give worship to the stars of heaven, as it says in the book of the prophets, Did you make offerings to me of sheep and oxen for forty years in the waste land, O house of Israel?
7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O all of you house of Israel, have all of you offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

7:43 몰록의 장막과 신 레판의 별을 받들었음이여 이것은 너희가 절하고자 하여 만든 형상이로다 내가 너희를 바벨론 밖에 옮기리라  함과 같으니라
7:43 And you took up the tent of Moloch and the star of the god Rephan, images which you made to give worship to them: and I will take you away, farther than Babylon.
7:43 Yea, all of you took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which all of you made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

7:44 광야에서 우리 조상들에게 증거의 장막이 있었으니 이것은 모세에게 말씀하신 이가 명하사 저가 본 그 식대로 만들게 하신 것이라
7:44 Our fathers had the Tent of witness in the waste land, as God gave orders to Moses to make it after the design which he had seen.
7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

7:45 우리 조상들이 그것을 받아 하나님이 저희 앞에서 쫓아내신 이방인의 땅을 점령할 때에 여호수아와 함께 가지고 들어가서 다윗 때까지 이르니라
7:45 Which our fathers, in their turn, took with them when, with Joshua, they came into the heritage of the nations whom God was driving out before the face of our fathers, till the time of David,
7:45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

7:46 다윗이 하나님 앞에서 은혜를 받아 야곱의 집을 위하여 하나님의 처소를 준비케 하여 달라 하더니
7:46 Who was pleasing to God; and he had a desire to make a holy tent for the God of Jacob.
7:46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

7:47 솔로몬이 그를 위하여 집을 지었느니라
7:47 But Solomon was the builder of his house.
7:47 But Solomon built him an house.

7:48 그러나 지극히 높으신 이는 손으로 지은 곳에 계시지 아니하시나니 선지자의 말한 바
7:48 But still, the Most High has not his resting-place in houses made with hands, as the prophet says,
7:48 Nevertheless the most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as says the prophet,

7:49  주께서 가라사대 하늘은 나의 보좌요 땅은 나의 발등상이니 너희가 나를 위하여 무슨 집을 짓겠으며 나의 안식할 처소가 어디뇨
7:49 Heaven is the seat of my power, and earth is a resting-place for my feet: what sort of house will you make for me, says the Lord, or what is my place of rest?
7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will all of you build me? says the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

7:50  이 모든 것이 다 내 손으로 지은 것이 아니냐  함과 같으니라
7:50 Did not my hand make all these things?
7:50 Has not my hand made all these things?

7:51 목이 곧고 마음과 귀에 할례를 받지 못한 사람들아 너희가 항상 성령을 거스려 너희 조상과 같이 너희도 하는도다
7:51 You whose hearts are hard and whose ears are shut to me; you are ever working against the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.
7:51 All of you stubborn and uncircumcised in heart and ears, all of you do always resist the Holy Spirit: (o. pneuma) as your fathers did, so do all of you.

7:52 너희 조상들은 선지자 중에 누구를 핍박지 아니하였느냐 의인이 오시리라 예고한 자들을 저희가 죽였고 이제 너희는 그 의인을 잡아 준 자요 살인한 자가 되나니
7:52 Which of the prophets was not cruelly attacked by your fathers? and they put to death those who gave them the news of the coming of the Upright One; whom you have now given up and put to death;
7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom all of you have been now the betrayers and murderers:

7:53 너희가 천사의 전한 율법을 받고도 지키지 아니하였도다 하니라
7:53 You, to whom the law was given as it was ordered by angels, and who have not kept it.
7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

7:54 ○ 저희가 이 말을 듣고 마음에 찔려 저를 향하여 이를 갈거늘
7:54 Hearing these things, they were cut to the heart and moved with wrath against him.
7:54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

7:55 스데반이 성령이 충만하여 하늘을 우러러 주목하여 하나님의 영광과 및 예수께서 하나님 우편에 서신 것을 보고
7:55 But he was full of the Holy Spirit, and looking up to heaven, he saw the glory of God and Jesus at the right hand of God.
7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

7:56 말하되 보라 하늘이 열리고 인자가 하나님 우편에 서신 것을 보노라 한 대
7:56 And he said, Now I see heaven open, and the Son of man at the right hand of God.
7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

7:57 저희가 큰 소리를 지르며 귀를 막고 일심으로 그에게 달려들어
7:57 But with loud cries, and stopping their ears, they made an attack on him all together,
7:57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

7:58 성 밖에 내치고 돌로 칠새 증인들이 옷을 벗어 사울이라 하는 청년의 발 앞에 두니라
7:58 Driving him out of the town and stoning him: and the witnesses put their clothing at the feet of a young man named Saul.
7:58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

7:59 저희가 돌로 스데반을 치니 스데반이 부르짖어 가로되 주 예수여 내 영혼을 받으시옵소서 하고
7:59 And Stephen, while he was being stoned, made prayer to God, saying, Lord Jesus, take my spirit.
7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. (o. pneuma)

7:60 무릎을 꿇고 크게 불러 가로되 주여 이 죄를 저들에게 돌리지 마옵소서 이 말을 하고 자니라
7:60 And going down on his knees, he said in a loud voice, Lord, do not make them responsible for this sin. And when he had said this, he went to his rest.
7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

 사도행전 8장 /

8:1 사울이 그의 죽임 당함을 마땅히 여기더라 ○ 그 날에 예루살렘에 있는 교회에 큰 핍박이 나서 사도 외에는 다 유대와 사마리아 모든 땅으로 흩어지니라
8:1 And Saul gave approval to his death. Now at that time a violent attack was started against the church in Jerusalem; and all but the Apostles went away into all parts of Judaea and Samaria.
8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

8:2 경건한 사람들이 스데반을 장사하고 위하여 크게 울더라
8:2 And God-fearing men put Stephen's body in its last resting-place, making great weeping over him.
8:2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

8:3 사울이 교회를 잔멸할새 각 집에 들어가 남녀를 끌어다가 옥에 넘기니라
8:3 But Saul was burning with hate against the church, going into every house and taking men and women and putting them in prison.
8:3 As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

8:4 ○ 그 흩어진 사람들이 두루 다니며 복음의 말씀을 전할새
8:4 But those who had gone in flight went everywhere preaching the word.
8:4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. (o. logos)

8:5 빌립이 사마리아 성에 내려가 그리스도를 백성에게 전파하니
8:5 And Philip went down to Samaria and was teaching them about Christ.
8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

8:6 무리가 빌립의 말도 듣고 행하는 표적도 보고 일심으로 그의 말하는 것을 좇더라
8:6 And all the people gave attention to the words which Philip said, when they saw the signs which he did.
8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

8:7 많은 사람에게 붙었던 더러운 귀신들이 크게 소리를 지르며 나가고 또 많은 중풍병자와 앉은뱅이가 나으니
8:7 For unclean spirits came out from those who had them, crying with a loud voice; and a number of those who were ill and broken in body were made well.
8:7 For unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

8:8 그 성에 큰 기쁨이 있더라
8:8 And there was much joy in that town.
8:8 And there was great joy in that city.

8:9 ○ 그 성에 시몬이라 하는 사람이 전부터 있어 마술을 행하여 사마리아 백성을 놀라게 하며 자칭 큰 자라 하니
8:9 But there was a certain man named Simon, who in the past had been a wonder-worker and a cause of surprise to the people of Samaria, saying that he himself was a great man:
8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which in time past in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

8:10 낮은 사람부터 높은 사람까지 다 청종하여 가로되 이 사람은 크다 일컫는 하나님의 능력이라 하더라
8:10 To whom they all gave attention, from the smallest to the greatest, saying, This man is that power of God which is named Great.
8:10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

8:11 오래 동안 그 마술에 놀랐으므로 저희가 청종하더니
8:11 And they gave attention to him, because for a long time his wonder-working powers had kept them under his control.
8:11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

8:12 빌립이 하나님 나라와 및 예수 그리스도의 이름에 관하여 전도함을 저희가 믿고 남녀가 다 세례를 받으니
8:12 But when they had faith in the good news given by Philip about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, a number of men and women had baptism.
8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

8:13 시몬도 믿고 세례를 받은 후에 전심으로 빌립을 따라 다니며 그 나타나는 표적과 큰 능력을 보고 놀라니라
8:13 And Simon himself had faith and, having had baptism, he went with Philip and, seeing the signs and the great wonders which he did, he was full of surprise.
8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

8:14 ○ 예루살렘에 있는 사도들이 사마리아도 하나님의 말씀을 받았다 함을 듣고 베드로와 요한을 보내매
8:14 Now when the Apostles at Jerusalem had news that the people of Samaria had taken the word of God into their hearts, they sent to them Peter and John;
8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word (o. logos) of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

8:15 그들이 내려가서 저희를 위하여 성령 받기를 기도하니
8:15 Who, when they came there, made prayer for them, that the Holy Spirit might be given to them:
8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit: (o. pneuma)

8:16 이는 아직 한 사람에게도 성령 내리신 일이 없고 오직 주 예수의 이름으로 세례만 받을 뿐이러라
8:16 For up to that time he had not come on any of them; only baptism had been given to them in the name of the Lord Jesus.
8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

8:17 이에 두 사도가 저희에게 안수하매 성령을 받는지라
8:17 Then they put their hands on them, and the Holy Spirit came on them.
8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

8:18 시몬이 사도들의 안수함으로 성령 받는 것을 보고 돈을 드려
8:18 Now when Simon saw that the Holy Spirit was given through the touch of the Apostles' hands, he made them an offering of money, saying,
8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) was given, he offered them money,

8:19 가로되 이 권능을 내게도 주어 누구든지 내가 안수하는 사람은 성령을 받게 하여 주소서 하니
8:19 Give me this power, so that when I put my hands on anyone he may get the Holy Spirit.
8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

8:20 베드로가 가로되 네가 하나님의 선물을 돈 주고 살 줄로 생각하였으니 네 은과 네가 함께 망할지어다
8:20 But Peter said, May your money come to destruction with you, because you had the idea that what is freely given by God may be got for a price.
8:20 But Peter said unto him, Your money perish with you, because you have thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

8:21 하나님 앞에서 네 마음이 바르지 못하니 이 도에는 네가 관계도 없고 분깃 될 것도 없느니라
8:21 You have no part in this business, because your heart is not right before God.
8:21 You have neither part nor lot in this matter: (o. logos) for your heart is not right in the sight of God.

8:22 그러므로 너의 이 악함을 회개하고 주께 기도하라 혹 마음에 품은 것을 사하여 주시리라
8:22 Let your heart be changed, and make prayer to God that you may have forgiveness for your evil thoughts.
8:22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of yours heart may be forgiven you.

8:23 내가 보니 너는 악독이 가득하며 불의에 매인 바 되었도다
8:23 For I see that you are prisoned in bitter envy and the chains of sin.
8:23 For I perceive that you are in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

8:24 시몬이 대답하여 가로되 나를 위하여 주께 기도하여 말한 것이 하나도 내게 임하지 말게 하소서 하니라
8:24 And Simon, answering, said, Make prayer for me to the Lord, so that these things which you have said may not come on me.
8:24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray all of you to the LORD for me, that none of these things which all of you have spoken come upon me.

8:25 ○ 두 사도가 주의 말씀을 증거하여 말한 후 예루살렘으로 돌아갈새 사마리아인의 여러 촌에서 복음을 전하니라
8:25 So they, having given their witness and made clear the word of the Lord, went back to Jerusalem, giving the good news on their way in a number of the small towns of Samaria.
8:25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word (o. logos) of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

8:26 ○ 주의 사자가 빌립더러 일러 가로되 일어나서 남으로 향하여 예루살렘에서 가사로 내려가는 길까지 가라 하니 그 길은 광야라
8:26 But an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Get up, and go to the south, to the road which goes from Jerusalem to Gaza, through the waste land.
8:26 And the angel of the Lord spoke unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goes down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

8:27 일어나 가서 보니 에디오피아 사람 곧 에디오피아 여왕 간다게의 모든 국고를 맡은 큰 권세가 있는 내시가 예배하러 예루살렘에 왔다가
8:27 And he went and there was a man of Ethiopia, a servant of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, and controller of all her property, who had come up to Jerusalem for worship;
8:27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem in order to worship,

8:28 돌아가는데 병거를 타고 선지자 이사야의 글을 읽더라
8:28 He was going back, seated in his carriage, and was reading the book of the prophet Isaiah.
8:28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Isaiah the prophet.

8:29 성령이 빌립더러 이르시되 이 병거로 가까이 나아가라 하시거늘
8:29 And the Spirit said to Philip, Go near, and get on his carriage.
8:29 Then the Spirit (o. pneuma) said unto Philip, Go near, and join yourself to this chariot.

8:30 빌립이 달려가서 선지자 이사야의 글 읽는 것을 듣고 말하되 읽는 것을 깨닫느뇨
8:30 And Philip, running up to him, saw that he was reading Isaiah the prophet, and said to him, Is the sense of what you are reading clear to you?
8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understand you what you read?

8:31 대답하되 지도하는 사람이 없으니 어찌 깨달을 수 있느뇨 하고 빌립을 청하여 병거에 올라 같이 앉으라 하니라
8:31 And he said, How is that possible when I have no guide? And he made Philip get up by his side.
8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

8:32 읽는 성경 귀절은 이것이니 일렀으되  저가 사지로 가는 양과 같이 끌리었고 털 깎는 자 앞에 있는 어린 양의 잠잠함과 같이 그 입을 열지 아니하였도다
8:32 Now the place in the book where he was reading was this: He was taken, like a sheep, to be put to death; and as a lamb is quiet when its wool is being cut, so he made no sound:
8:32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

8:33 낮을 때에 공변된 판단을 받지 못하였으니 누가 가히 그 세대를 말하리요 그 생명이 땅에서 빼앗김이로다  하였거늘
8:33 Being of low degree, his cause was not given a hearing: who has knowledge of his family? for his life is cut off from the earth.
8:33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

8:34 내시가 빌립더러 말하되 청컨대 묻노니 선지자가 이 말한 것이 누구를 가리킴이뇨 자기를 가리킴이뇨 타인을 가리킴이뇨
8:34 And the Ethiopian said to Philip, About whom are these words said by the prophet? about himself, or some other?
8:34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray you, of whom speaks the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

8:35 빌립이 입을 열어 이 글에서 시작하여 예수를 가르쳐 복음을 전하니
8:35 So Philip, starting from this writing, gave him the good news about Jesus.
8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

8:36 길 가다가 물 있는 곳에 이르러 내시가 말하되 보라 물이 있으니 내가 세례를 받음에 무슨 거리낌이 있느뇨
8:36 And while they were going on their way, they came to some water, and the Ethiopian said, See, here is water; why may I not have baptism?
8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what does hinder me to be baptized?

8:37 And Philip said, If you believe with all yours heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

8:38 이에 명하여 병거를 머물고 빌립과 내시가 둘 다 물에 내려가 빌립이 세례를 주고
8:38 And he gave orders for the carriage to be stopped, and the two of them went down into the water, and Philip gave him baptism.
8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

8:39 둘이 물에서 올라갈새 주의 영이 빌립을 이끌어 간지라 내시는 혼연히 길을 가므로 그를 다시 보지 못하니라
8:39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord took Philip away; and the Ethiopian saw him no more, for he went on his way full of joy.
8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit (o. pneuma) of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

8:40 빌립은 아소도에 나타나 여러 성을 지나 다니며 복음을 전하고 가이사랴에 이르니라
8:40 But Philip came to Azotus, and went through all the towns, preaching the good news, till he came to Caesarea.
8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

 사도행전 9장

9:1 사울이 주의 제자들을 대하여 여전히 위협과 살기가 등등하여 대제사장에게 가서
9:1 But Saul, still burning with desire to put to death the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
9:1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

9:2 다메섹 여러 회당에 갈 공문을 청하니 이는 만일 그 도를 좇는 사람을 만나면 무론 남녀하고 결박하여 예루살렘으로 잡아오려 함이라
9:2 And made a request for letters from him to the Synagogues of Damascus, so that if there were any of the Way there, men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.
9:2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

9:3 사울이 행하여 다메섹에 가까이 가더니 홀연히 하늘로서 빛이 저를 둘러 비추는지라
9:3 And while he was journeying, he came near Damascus; and suddenly he saw a light from heaven shining round him;
9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

9:4 땅에 엎드러져 들으매 소리 있어 가라사대 사울아 사울아 네가 어찌하여 나를 핍박하느냐 하시거늘
9:4 And he went down on the earth, and a voice said to him, Saul, Saul, why are you attacking me so cruelly?
9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?

9:5 대답하되 주여 뉘시오니이까 가라사대 나는 네가 핍박하는 예수라
9:5 And he said, Who are you, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus, whom you are attacking:
9:5 And he said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.

9:6 네가 일어나 성으로 들어가라 행할 것을 네게 이를 자가 있느니라 하시니
9:6 But get up, and go into the town, and it will be made clear to you what you have to do.
9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will you have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.

9:7 같이 가던 사람들은 소리만 듣고 아무도 보지 못하여 말을 못하고 섰더라
9:7 And the men who were with him were not able to say anything; hearing the voice, but seeing no one.
9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

9:8 사울이 땅에서 일어나 눈은 떴으나 아무 것도 보지 못하고 사람의 손에 끌려 다메섹으로 들어가서
9:8 And Saul got up from the earth, and when his eyes were open, he saw nothing; and he was guided by the hand into Damascus.
9:8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

9:9 사흘 동안을 보지 못하고 식음을 전폐하니라
9:9 And for three days he was not able to see, and he took no food or drink.
9:9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

9:10 ○ 그 때에 다메섹에 아나니아라 하는 제자가 있더니 주께서 환상 중에 불러 가라사대 아나니아야 하시거늘 대답하되 주여 내가 여기 있나이다 하니
9:10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias! and he said, Here I am, Lord.
9:10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

9:11 주께서 가라사대 일어나 직가라 하는 거리로 가서 유다 집에서 다소 사람 사울이라 하는 자를 찾으라 저가 기도하는 중이다
9:11 And the Lord said to him, Get up, and go to the street which is named Straight, and make search at the house of Judas for one named Saul of Tarsus: for he is at prayer;
9:11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prays,

9:12 저가 아나니아라 하는 사람이 들어와서 자기에게 안수하여 다시 보게 하는 것을 보았느니라 하시거늘
9:12 And he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hands on him, so that he may be able to see.
9:12 And has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

9:13 아나니아가 대답하되 주여 이 사람에 대하여 내가 여러 사람에게 듣사온즉 그가 예루살렘에서 주의 성도에게 적지 않은 해를 끼쳤다 하더니
9:13 But Ananias said, Lord, I have had accounts of this man from a number of people, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem:
9:13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem:

9:14 여기서도 주의 이름을 부르는 모든 자를 결박할 권세를 대제사장들에게 받았나이다 하거늘
9:14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to make prisoners all who give worship to your name.
9:14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on your name.

9:15 주께서 가라사대 가라 이 사람은 내 이름을 이방인과 임금들과 이스라엘 자손들 앞에 전하기 위하여 택한 나의 그릇이라
9:15 But the Lord said, Go without fear: for he is a special vessel for me, to give to the Gentiles and kings and to the children of Israel the knowledge of my name:
9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

9:16 그가 내 이름을 위하여 해를 얼마나 받아야 할 것을 내가 그에게 보이리라 하시니
9:16 For I will make clear to him what troubles he will have to undergo for me.
9:16 For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

9:17 아나니아가 떠나 그 집에 들어가서 그에게 안수하여 가로되 형제 사울아 주 곧 네가 오는 길에서 나타나시던 예수께서 나를 보내어 너로 다시 보게 하시고 성령으로 충만하게 하신다 하니
9:17 And Ananias went out and came to the house, and putting his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, whom you saw when you were on your journey, has sent me, so that you may be able to see, and be full of the Holy Spirit.
9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you in the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

9:18 즉시 사울의 눈에서 비늘 같은 것이 벗어져 다시 보게 된지라 일어나 세례를 받고
9:18 And straight away it seemed as if a veil was taken from his eyes, and he was able to see; and he got up, and had baptism;
9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

9:19 음식을 먹으매 강건하여지니라 사울이 다메섹에 있는 제자들과 함께 며칠 있을새
9:19 And when he had taken food his strength came back. And for some days he kept with the disciples who were in Damascus.
9:19 And when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

9:20 즉시로 각 회당에서 예수의 하나님의 아들이심을 전파하니
9:20 And straight away, in the Synagogues, he was preaching Jesus as the Son of God.
9:20 And immediately he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

9:21 듣는 사람이 다 놀라 말하되 이 사람이 예루살렘에서 이 이름 부르는 사람을 잔해하던 자가 아니냐 여기 온 것도 저희를 결박하여 대제사장들에게 끌어 가고자 함이 아니냐 하더라
9:21 And all those hearing him were full of wonder and said, Is not this the man who in Jerusalem was attacking all the worshippers of this name? and he had come here so that he might take them as prisoners before the chief priests.
9:21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came here for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

9:22 사울은 힘을 더 얻어 예수를 그리스도라 증명하여 다메섹에 사는 유대인들을 굴복시키니라
9:22 But Saul went on increasing in power, and the Jews in Damascus were not able to give answers to the arguments by which he made it clear that Jesus was the Christ.
9:22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

9:23 ○ 여러 날이 지나매 유대인들이 사울 죽이기를 공모하더니
9:23 Then, after some days, the Jews made an agreement together to put him to death:
9:23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

9:24 그 계교가 사울에게 알려지니라 저희가 그를 죽이려고 밤낮으로 성문까지 지키거늘
9:24 But Saul got knowledge of their design. And they kept watch day and night on the roads out of the town, so that they might put him to death:
9:24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

9:25 그의 제자들이 밤에 광주리에 사울을 담아 성에서 달아 내리니라
9:25 But his disciples took him by night and let him down from the wall in a basket.
9:25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

9:26 ○ 사울이 예루살렘에 가서 제자들을 사귀고자 하나 다 두려워하여 그의 제자 됨을 믿지 아니하니
9:26 And when he came to Jerusalem, he made an attempt to be joined to the disciples, but they were all in fear of him, not taking him for a disciple.
9:26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

9:27 바나바가 데리고 사도들에게 가서 그가 길에서 어떻게 주를 본 것과 주께서 그에게 말씀하신 일과 다메섹에서 그가 어떻게 예수의 이름으로 담대히 말하던 것을 말하니라
9:27 But Barnabas took him to the Apostles and gave them an account of how he had seen the Lord on the road, and had given hearing to his words, and how at Damascus he had been preaching in the name of Jesus without fear.
9:27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

9:28 사울이 제자들과 함께 있어 예루살렘에 출입하며
9:28 And he was with them, going in and out at Jerusalem,
9:28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

9:29 또 주 예수의 이름으로 담대히 말하고 헬라파 유대인들과 함께 말하며 변론하니 그 사람들이 죽이려고 힘쓰거늘
9:29 Preaching in the name of the Lord without fear; and he had discussions with the Greek Jews; but they were working for his death.
9:29 And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

9:30 형제들이 알고 가이사랴로 데리고 내려가서 다소로 보내니라
9:30 And when the brothers had knowledge of it, they took him to Caesarea and sent him to Tarsus.
9:30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

9:31 ○ 그리하여 온 유대와 갈릴리와 사마리아 교회가 평안하여 든든히 서 가고 주를 경외함과 성령의 위로로 진행하여 수가 더 많아지니라
9:31 And so the church through all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was made strong; and, living in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was increased greatly.
9:31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) were multiplied.

9:32 ○ 때에 베드로가 사방으로 두루 행하다가 룻다에 사는 성도들에게도 내려갔더니
9:32 And it came about that while Peter was going through all parts of the country he came to the saints who were living at Lydda.
9:32 And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

9:33 거기서 애니아라 하는 사람을 만나매 그가 중풍병으로 상 위에 누운 지 팔 년이라
9:33 And there was a certain man there, named Aeneas, who for eight years had been in bed, without power of moving.
9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

9:34 베드로가 가로되 애니아야 예수 그리스도께서 너를 낫게 하시니 일어나 네 자리를 정돈하라 한대 곧 일어나니
9:34 And Peter said to him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes you well: get up and make your bed. And straight away he got up.
9:34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes you whole: arise, and make your bed. And he arose immediately.

9:35 룻다와 사론에 사는 사람들이 다 그를 보고 주께로 돌아가니라
9:35 And all those living in Lydda and Sharon saw him, and were turned to the Lord.
9:35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

9:36 ○ 욥바에 다비다라 하는 여제자가 있으니 그 이름을 번역하면 도르가라 선행과 구제하는 일이 심히 많더니
9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, that is, Dorcas: this woman was given to good works and acts of mercy at all times.
9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and kind acts which she did.

9:37 그 때에 병들어 죽으매 시체를 씻어 다락에 뉘우니라
9:37 And it came about, in those days, that she got ill and came to her death: and when she had been washed, they put her in a room which was high up.
9:37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

9:38 룻다가 욥바에 가까운지라 제자들이 베드로가 거기 있음을 듣고 두 사람을 보내어 지체 말고 오라고 간청하니
9:38 And because Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having knowledge that Peter was there, sent two men to him, requesting him to come to them straight away.
9:38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

9:39 베드로가 일어나 저희와 함께 가서 이르매 저희가 데리고 다락에 올라가니 모든 과부가 베드로의 곁에 서서 울며 도르가가 저희와 함께 있을 때에 지은 속옷과 겉옷을 다 내어 보이거늘
9:39 And Peter went with them. And when he had come, they took him into the room: and all the widows were there, weeping and putting before him the coats and clothing which Dorcas had made while she was with them.
9:39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

9:40 베드로가 사람을 다 내어보내고 무릎을 꿇고 기도하고 돌이켜 시체를 향하여 가로되 다비다야 일어나라 하니 그가 눈을 떠 베드로를 보고 일어나 앉는지라
9:40 But Peter made them all go outside, and went down on his knees in prayer; and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, get up. And, opening her eyes, she saw Peter and got up.
9:40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

9:41 베드로가 손을 내밀어 일으키고 성도들과 과부들을 불러들여 그의 산 것을 보이니
9:41 And he took her hand, lifting her up; and, sending for the saints and widows, he gave her to them, living.
9:41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

9:42 온 욥바 사람이 알고 많이 주를 믿더라
9:42 And news of it went all through Joppa, and a number of people had faith in the Lord.
9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

9:43 베드로가 욥바에 여러 날 있어 시몬이라 하는 피장의 집에서 유하니라
9:43 And he was living in Joppa for some time with Simon, a leather-worker.
9:43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
