19:1 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대
19:1 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
19:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
19:2 여호와의 명하는 법의 율례를 이제 이르노니 이스라엘 자손에게 일러서 온전하여
흠이 없고 아직 멍에 메지 아니한 붉은 암송아지를 네게로 끌어오게 하고
19:2 This is the rule of the law which the Lord has made, saying, Give orders to the
children of Israel to give you a red cow without any mark on her, and on which the
yoke has never been put:
19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
19:3 너는 그것을 제사장 엘르아살에게 줄 것이요 그는 그것을 진 밖으로 끌어
내어서 자기 목전에서 잡게 할 것이며
19:3 Give her to Eleazar the priest and let him take her outside the tent-circle and
have her put to death before him.
19:3 And all of you shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
19:4 제사장 엘르아살은 손가락에 그 피를 찍고 그 피를 회막 앞을 향하여 일곱 번
뿌리고
19:4 Then let Eleazar the priest take some of her blood on his finger, shaking the blood
seven times in the direction of the front of the Tent of meeting:
19:4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:
19:5 그 암소를 자기 목전에서 불사르게 하되 그 가죽과 고기와 피와 똥을 불사르게
하고
19:5 And the cow is to be burned before him, her skin and her flesh and her blood and
her waste are to be burned:
19:5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:
19:6 동시에 제사장은 백향목과 우슬초와 홍색 실을 취하여 암송아지를 사르는
불 가운데 던질 것이며
19:6 Then let the priest take cedar-wood and hyssop and red thread, and put them into
the fire where the cow is burning.
19:6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
19:7 제사장은 그 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻은 후에 진에 들어갈 것이라 그는 저녁까지
부정하리라
19:7 And the priest, after washing his clothing and bathing his body in water, may come
back to the tent-circle, and will be unclean till evening.
19:7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
19:8 송아지를 불사른 자도 그 옷을 물로 빨고 물로 그 몸을 씻을 것이라 그도
저녁까지 부정하리라
19:8 And he who does the burning is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in
water and be unclean till evening.
19:8 And he that burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
19:9 이에 정한 자가 암송아지의 재를 거두어 진 밖 정한 곳에 둘지니 이것은
이스라엘 자손 회중을 위하여 간직하였다가 부정을 깨끗케 하는 물을 만드는데 쓸
것이니 곧 속죄제니라
19:9 Then let a man who is clean take the dust of the burned cow and put it outside the
tent-circle in a clean place, where it is to be kept for the children of Israel
and used in making the water which takes away what is unclean: it is a sin-offering.
19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
19:10 암송아지의 재를 거둔 자도 그 옷을 빨 것이며 저녁까지 부정하리라 이는
이스라엘 자손과 그 중에 우거하는 외인에게 영원한 율례니라
19:10 And he who takes up the dust of the burned cow is to have his clothing washed with
water and be unclean till evening: this is to be a law for ever, for the children
of Israel as well as for the man from another country who is living among them.
19:10 And he that gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourns among them, for a statute for ever.
19:11 ○ 사람의 시체를 만진 자는 칠 일을 부정하리니
19:11 Anyone touching a dead body will be unclean for seven days:
19:11 He that touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
19:12 그는 제 삼 일과 제 칠 일에 이 잿물로 스스로 정결케 할 것이라 그리하면
정하려니와 제 삼 일과 제 칠 일에 스스로 정결케 아니하면 그냥 부정하니
19:12 On the third day and on the seventh day he is to make himself clean with the water,
and so he will be clean: but if he does not do this on the third day and on the
seventh day, he will not be clean.
19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
19:13 누구든지 죽은 사람의 시체를 만지고 스스로 정결케 아니하는 자는 여호와의
성막을 더럽힘이라 그가 이스라엘에서 끊쳐질 것은 정결케 하는 물을 그에게 뿌리지
아니하므로 깨끗케 되지 못하고 그 부정함이 그저 있음이니라
19:13 Anyone touching the body of a dead man without making himself clean in this way,
makes the House of the Lord unclean; and that man will be cut off from Israel: because
the water was not put on him, he will be unclean; his unclean condition is unchanged.
19:13 Whosoever touches the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifies not himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.
19:14 ○ 장막에서 사람이 죽을 때의 법은 이러하니 무릇 그 장막에 들어가는
자와 무릇 그 장막에 있는 자가 칠 일 동안 부정할 것이며
19:14 This is the law when death comes to a man in his tent: everyone who comes into the
tent, and everyone who is in the tent, will be unclean for seven days.
19:14 This is the law, when a man dies in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
19:15 무릇 뚜껑을 열어 놓고 덮지 아니한 그릇도 부정하니라
19:15 And every open vessel without a cover fixed on it will be unclean.
19:15 And every open vessel, which has no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
19:16 누구든지 들에서 칼에 죽이운 자나 시체나 사람의 뼈나 무덤을 만졌으면
칠 일 동안 부정하리니
19:16 And anyone touching one who has been put to death with the sword in the open country,
or the body of one who has come to his end by a natural death, or a man's bone,
or the resting-place of a dead body, will be unclean for seven days.
19:16 And whosoever touches one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
19:17 그 부정한 자를 위하여 죄를 깨끗하게 하려고 불사른 재를 취하여 흐르는
물과 함께 그릇에 담고
19:17 And for the unclean, they are to take the dust of the burning of the sin-offering,
and put flowing water on it in a vessel:
19:17 And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
19:18 정한 자가 우슬초를 취하여 그 물을 찍어서 장막과 그 모든 기구와 거기
있는 사람들에게 뿌리고 또 뼈나 죽임을 당한 자나 시체나 무덤을 만진 자에게 뿌리되
19:18 And a clean person is to take hyssop and put it in the water, shaking it over the
tent, and all the vessels, and the people who were there, and over him by whom the
bone, or the body of one who has been put to death with the sword, or the body of
one who has come to his end by a natural death, or the resting-place was touched.
19:18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
19:19 그 정한 자가 제 삼 일과 제 칠 일에 그 부정한 자에게 뿌려서 제 칠 일에
그를 정결케 할 것이며 그는 자기 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻을 것이라 저녁이면 정하리라
19:19 Let the clean person do this to the unclean on the third day and on the seventh
day: and on the seventh day he is to make him clean; and after washing his clothing
and bathing himself in water, he will be clean in the evening.
19:19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
19:20 ○ 사람이 부정하고도 스스로 정결케 아니하면 여호와의 성소를 더럽힘이니
그러므로 총회 중에서 끊쳐질 것이니라 그는 정결케 하는 물로 뿌리움을 받지 아니하였은즉
부정하니라
19:20 But the man who, being unclean, does not make himself clean in this way, will be
cut off from the meeting of the people, because he has made the holy place of the
Lord unclean: the water has not been put on him, he is unclean.
19:20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation has not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
19:21 이는 그들의 영영한 율례니라 정결케 하는 물을 뿌린 자는 그 옷을 빨 것이며
정결케 하는 물을 만지는 자는 저녁까지 부정할 것이며
19:21 This is to be a law for them for ever: he who puts the water on the unclean person
is to have his clothing washed; and anyone touching the water will be unclean till
evening.
19:21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkles the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that touches the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
19:22 부정한 자가 만진 것은 무엇이든지 부정할 것이며 그것을 만지는 자도 저녁까지
부정하리라
19:22 Anything touched by the unclean person will be unclean; and any person touching
it will be unclean till evening.
19:22 And whatsoever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until even.
20:1 정월에 이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중이 신 광야에 이르러서 백성이 가데스에
거하더니 미리암이 거기서 죽으매 거기 장사하니라
20:1 In the first month all the children of Israel came into the waste land of Zin, and
put up their tents in Kadesh; there death came to Miriam, and they put her body
to rest in the earth.
20:1 Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.
20:2 ○ 회중이 물이 없으므로 모여서 모세와 아론을 공박하니라
20:2 And there was no water for the people: and they came together against Moses and
against Aaron.
20:2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.
20:3 백성이 모세와 다투어 말하여 가로되 우리 형제들이 여호와 앞에서 죽을
때에 우리도 죽었더면 좋을 뻔하였도다
20:3 And the people were angry with Moses and said, If only death had overtaken us when
our brothers came to their death before the Lord!
20:3 And the people find fault with Moses, and spoke, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!
20:4 너희가 어찌하여 여호와의 총회를 이 광야로 인도하여 올려서 우리와 우리
짐승으로 다 여기서 죽게 하느냐
20:4 Why have you taken the Lord's people into this waste, for death to come to us and
to our cattle there?
20:4 And why have all of you brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?
20:5 너희가 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하여 이 악한 곳으로 인도하였느냐
이곳에는 파종할 곳이 없고 무화과도 없고 포도도 없고 석류도 없고 마실 물도 없도다
20:5 Why have you made us come out of Egypt into this evil place? This is no place of
seed or figs or vines or other fruits, and there is no water for drinking.
20:5 And wherefore have all of you made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.
20:6 모세와 아론이 총회 앞을 떠나 회막문에 이르러 엎드리매 여호와의 영광이
그들에게 나타나며
20:6 Then Moses and Aaron went away from the people to the door of the Tent of meeting;
and, falling on their faces there, they saw the glory of the Lord.
20:6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.
20:7 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
20:7 And the Lord said to Moses,
20:7 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
20:8 지팡이를 가지고 네 형 아론과 함께 회중을 모으고 그들의 목전에서 너희는
반석에게 명하여 물을 내라 하라 네가 그 반석으로 물을 내게 하여 회중과 그들의
짐승에게 마시울지니라
20:8 Take the rod, you and Aaron, your brother, and make all the people come together,
and before their eyes give orders to the rock to give out its water; and so make
water come out of the rock for them, and give the people and their cattle drink.
20:8 Take the rod, and gather you the assembly together, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak all of you unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and you shall bring forth to them water out of the rock: so you shall give the congregation and their beasts drink.
20:9 모세가 그 명대로 여호와의 앞에서 지팡이를 취하니라
20:9 And Moses took the rod from before the Lord as he gave him orders.
20:9 And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.
20:10 ○ 모세와 아론이 총회를 그 반석 앞에 모으고 모세가 그들에게 이르되
패역한 너희여 들으라 우리가 너희를 위하여 이 반석에서 물을 내랴 하고
20:10 Then Moses and Aaron made the people come together in front of the rock, and he
said to them, Give ear now, you people whose hearts are turned from the Lord; are
we to get water for you out of the rock?
20:10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, all of you rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
20:11 그 손을 들어 그 지팡이로 반석을 두 번 치매 물이 많이 솟아나오므로 회중과
그들의 짐승이 마시니라
20:11 And lifting up his hand, Moses gave the rock two blows with his rod: and water came
streaming out, and the people and their cattle had drink enough.
20:11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he stroke the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.
20:12 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하고 이스라엘
자손의 목전에 나의 거룩함을 나타내지 아니한 고로 너희는 이 총회를 내가 그들에게
준 땅으로 인도하여 들이지 못하리라 하시니라
20:12 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Because you had not enough faith in me to
keep my name holy before the children of Israel, you will not take this people into
the land which I have given them.
20:12 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron, Because all of you believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore all of you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.
20:13 이스라엘 자손이 여호와와 다투었으므로 이를 므리바 물이라 하니라 여호와께서
그들 중에서 그 거룩함을 나타내셨더라
20:13 These are the waters of Meribah; because the children of Israel went against the
Lord, and they saw that he was holy among them.
20:13 This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.
20:14 ○ 모세가 가데스에서 에돔 왕에게 사자를 보내며 이르되 당신의 형제 이스라엘의
말에 우리의 당한 모든 고난을 당신도 아시거니와
20:14 Then Moses sent men from Kadesh to the king of Edom to say to him, Your brother
Israel says, You have knowledge of all the things we have been through;
20:14 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus says your brother Israel, You know all the travail that has befallen us:
20:15 우리 열조가 애굽으로 내려갔으므로 우리가 애굽에 오래 거하였더니 애굽인이
우리 열조와 우리를 학대하였으므로
20:15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we were living in Egypt for a long time;
and the Egyptians were cruel to us and to our fathers:
20:15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:
20:16 우리가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 우리 소리를 들으시고 천사를 보내사 우리를
애굽에서 인도하여 내셨나이다 이제 우리가 당신의 변방 모퉁이 한 성읍 가데스에
있사오니
20:16 And the Lord gave ear to the voice of our cry, and sent an angel and took us out
of Egypt: and now we are in Kadesh, a town on the edge of your land;
20:16 And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and has brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of your border:
20:17 청컨대 우리로 당신의 땅을 통과하게 하소서 우리가 밭으로나 포도원으로나
통과하지 아니하고 우물 물도 공히 마시지 아니하고 우리가 왕의 대로로만 통과하고
당신의 지경에서 나가기까지 좌편으로나 우편으로나 치우치지 아니하리이다 한다
하라 하였더니
20:17 Let us now go through your land: we will not go into field or vine-garden, or take
the water of the springs; we will go by the highway, not turning to the right or
to the left, till we have gone past the limits of your land.
20:17 Let us pass, I pray you, through your country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed your borders.
20:18 에돔 왕이 대답하되 너는 우리 가운데로 통과하지 못하리라 내가 나가서
칼로 너를 맞을까 염려하라
20:18 And Edom said, You are not to go through my land, for if you do I will come out
against you with the sword.
20:18 And Edom said unto him, You shall not pass by me, lest I come out against you with the sword.
20:19 이스라엘 자손이 이르되 우리가 대로로 통과하겠고 우리나 우리 짐승이
당신의 물을 마시면 그 값을 줄 것이라 우리가 도보로 통과할 뿐인즉 아무 일도 없으리이다
하나
20:19 And the children of Israel said to him, We will go up by the highway: and if we
or our cattle take of your water, we will give you a price for it: only let us go
through on our feet, nothing more.
20:19 And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of your water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing anything else, go through on my feet.
20:20 그는 가로되 너는 지나가지 못하리라 하고 에돔 왕이 많은 백성을 거느리고
나와서 강한 손으로 막으니
20:20 But he said, You are not to go through. And Edom came out against them in his strength,
with a great army.
20:20 And he said, You shall not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand.
20:21 에돔 왕이 이같이 이스라엘의 그 경내로 통과함을 용납지 아니하므로 이스라엘이
그들에게서 돌이키니라
20:21 So Edom would not let Israel go through his land; and Israel went in another direction.
20:21 Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him.
20:22 이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중이 가데스에서 진행하여 호르 산에 이르렀더니
20:22 And they went on from Kadesh, and came, with all their people, to Mount Hor.
20:22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.
20:23 여호와께서 에돔 땅 변경 호르 산에서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시니라 가라사대
20:23 And at Mount Hor, at the edge of the land of Edom, the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
20:23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,
20:24 아론은 그 열조에게로 돌아가고 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 준 땅에는 들어가지
못하리니 이는 너희가 므리바 물에서 내 말을 거역한 연고니라
20:24 Aaron will be put to rest with his people; he will not go into the land which I
have given to the children of Israel, because you went against my word at the waters
of Meribah.
20:24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because all of you rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.
20:25 너는 아론과 그 아들 엘르아살을 데리고 호르 산에 올라
20:25 So take Aaron and Eleazar, his son, up into Mount Hor;
20:25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:
20:26 아론의 옷을 벗겨 그 아들 엘르아살에게 입히라 아론은 거기서 죽어 그
열조에게로 돌아가리라
20:26 And take Aaron's robes off him and put them on Eleazar, his son: and death will
come to Aaron there, and he will be put to rest with his people.
20:26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there.
20:27 모세가 여호와의 명을 좇아 그들과 함께 회중의 목전에서 호르 산에 오르니라
20:27 So Moses did as the Lord had said, and before the eyes of all the people they went
up Mount Hor.
20:27 And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.
20:28 모세가 아론의 옷을 벗겨 그 아들 엘르아살에게 입히매 아론이 그 산 꼭대기에서
죽으니라 모세와 엘르아살이 산에서 내려오니
20:28 And Moses took off Aaron's robes, and put them on Eleazar, his son; and there on
the top of the mountain death came to Aaron: then Moses and Eleazar came down from
the mountain.
20:28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.
20:29 온 회중 곧 이스라엘 온 족속이 아론의 죽은 것을 보고 위하여 삼십 일을
애곡하였더라
20:29 And when the people saw that Aaron was dead, all the children of Israel gave themselves
up to weeping for him for thirty days.
20:29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.
21:1 남방에 거하는 가나안 사람 곧 아랏의 왕이 이스라엘이 아다림 길로 온다
함을 듣고 이스라엘을 쳐서 그 중 몇 사람을 사로잡은지라
21:1 And it came to the ears of the Canaanite, the king of Arad, living in the South,
that Israel was coming by the way of Atharim, and he came out against them and took
some of them prisoners.
21:1 And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.
21:2 이스라엘이 여호와께 서원하여 가로되 주께서 만일 이 백성을 내 손에 붙이시면
내가 그들의 성읍을 다 멸하리이다
21:2 Then Israel made an oath to the Lord, and said, If you will give up this people
into my hands, then I will send complete destruction on all their towns.
21:2 And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If you will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
21:3 여호와께서 이스라엘의 소리를 들으시고 가나안 사람을 붙이시매 그들과
그 성읍을 다 멸하니라 그러므로 그 곳 이름을 호르마라 하였더라
21:3 And the Lord, in answer to the voice of Israel, gave the Canaanites up to them;
and they put them and their towns completely to destruction: and that place was
named Hormah.
21:3 And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.
21:4 ○ 백성이 호르 산에서 진행하여 홍해 길로 좇아 에돔 땅을 둘러 행하려 하였다가
길로 인하여 백성의 마음이 상하니라
21:4 Then they went on from Mount Hor by the way to the Red Sea, going round the land
of Edom: and the spirit of the people was overcome with weariness on the way.
21:4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
21:5 백성이 하나님과 모세를 향하여 원망하되 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여
올려서 이 광야에서 죽게 하는고 이곳에는 식물도 없고 물도 없도다 우리 마음이
이 박한 식물을 싫어하노라 하매
21:5 And crying out against God and against Moses, they said, Why have you taken us out
of Egypt to come to our death in the waste land? For there is no bread and no water,
and this poor bread is disgusting to us.
21:5 And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have all of you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loathes this light bread.
21:6 여호와께서 불뱀들을 백성 중에 보내어 백성을 물게 하시므로 이스라엘 백성
중에 죽은 자가 많은지라
21:6 Then the Lord sent poison-snakes among the people; and their bites were a cause
of death to numbers of the people of Israel.
21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
21:7 백성이 모세에게 이르러 가로되 우리가 여호와와 당신을 향하여 원망하므로
범죄하였사오니 여호와께 기도하여 이 뱀들을 우리에게서 떠나게 하소서 모세가 백성을
위하여 기도하매
21:7 Then the people came to Moses and said, We have done wrong in crying out against
the Lord and against you: make prayer to the Lord to take away the snakes from us.
So Moses made prayer for the people.
21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against you; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
21:8 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 불뱀을 만들어 장대 위에 달라 물린 자마다
그것을 보면 살리라
21:8 And the Lord said to Moses, Make an image of a snake and put it on a rod, and anyone
who has been wounded by the snakes, looking on it will be made well.
21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make you a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live.
21:9 모세가 놋뱀을 만들어 장대 위에 다니 뱀에게 물린 자마다 놋뱀을 쳐다본즉
살더라
21:9 So Moses made a snake of brass and put it on a rod; and anyone who had a snakebite,
after looking on the snake of brass, was made well.
21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
21:10 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 진행하여 오봇에 진 쳤고
21:10 Then the children of Israel went on and put up their tents in Oboth.
21:10 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.
21:11 오봇에서 진행하여 모압 앞 해 돋는 편 광야 이예아바림에 진 쳤고
21:11 And journeying on again from Oboth, they put up their tents in Iye-abarim, in the
waste land before Moab looking east.
21:11 And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.
21:12 거기서 진행하여 세렛 골짜기에 진 쳤고
21:12 And moving on from there, they put up their tents in the valley of Zered.
21:12 From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.
21:13 거기서 진행하여 아모리인의 지경에서 흘러 나와서 광야에 이른 아르논
건너편에 진 쳤으니 아르논은 모압과 아모리 사이에서 모압의 경계가 된 것이라
21:13 From there they went on and put up their tents on the other side of the Arnon, which
is on the waste land at the edge of the land of the Amorites; for the Arnon is the
line of division between Moab and the Amorites:
21:13 From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that comes out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
21:14 이러므로 여호와의 전쟁기에 일렀으되 수바의 와헙과 아르논 골짜기와
21:14 As it says in the book of the Wars of the Lord, Vaheb in Suphah, and the valley
of the Amon;
21:14 Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,
21:15 모든 골짜기의 비탈은 아르 고을을 향하여 기울어지고 모압의 경계에
닿았도다 하였더라
21:15 The slope of the valleys going down to the tents of Ar and touching the edge of
Moab.
21:15 And at the stream of the brooks that goes down to the dwelling of Ar, and lies upon the border of Moab.
21:16 거기서 브엘에 이르니 브엘은 여호와께서 모세에게 명하시기를 백성을 모으라
내가 그들에게 물을 주리라 하시던 우물이라
21:16 From there they went on to Beer, the water-spring of which the Lord said to Moses,
Make the people come together and I will give them water.
21:16 And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spoke unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.
21:17 그때에 이스라엘이 노래하여 가로되 우물 물아 솟아나라 너희는 그것을
노래하라
21:17 Then Israel gave voice to this song: Come up, O water-spring, let us make a song
to it:
21:17 Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing all of you unto it:
21:18 이 우물은 족장들이 팠고 백성의 귀인들이 홀과 지팡이로 판 것이로다 하였더라
광야에서 맛다나에 이르렀고
21:18 The fountain made by the chiefs, made deep by the great ones of the people, with
the law-givers' rod, and with their sticks. Then from the waste land they went on
to Mattanah:
21:18 The princes dug the well, the nobles of the people dug it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:
21:19 맛다나에서 나할리엘에 이르렀고 나할리엘에서 바못에 이르렀고
21:19 And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:
21:19 And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:
21:20 바못에서 모압 들에 있는 골짜기에 이르러 광야가 내려다 보이는 비스가 산
꼭대기에 이르렀더라
21:20 And from Bamoth to the valley in the open country of Moab, and to the top of Pisgah
looking over Jeshimon.
21:20 And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks toward Jeshimon.
21:21 ○ 이스라엘이 아모리 왕 시혼에게 사자를 보내어 가로되
21:21 And Israel sent men to Sihon, king of the Amorites, saying,
21:21 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,
21:22 우리로 당신의 땅을 통과하게 하소서 우리가 밭에든지 포도원에든지 들어가지
아니하며 우물 물도 공히 마시지 아니하고 우리가 당신의 지경에서 다 나가기까지
왕의 대로로만 통행하리이다 하나
21:22 Let me go through your land: we will not go into field or vine-garden, or take the
water of the springs; we will go by the highway till we have gone past the limits
of your land.
21:22 Let me pass through your land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past your borders.
21:23 시혼이 자기 지경으로 이스라엘의 통과함을 용납하지 아니하고 그 백성을
다 모아 이스라엘을 치러 광야로 나와서 야하스에 이르러 이스라엘을 치므로
21:23 And Sihon would not let Israel go through his land; but got all his people together
and went out against Israel into the waste land, as far as Jahaz, to make war on
Israel.
21:23 And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
21:24 이스라엘이 칼날로 그들을 쳐서 파하고 그 땅을 아르논부터 얍복까지 점령하여
암몬 자손에게까지 미치니 암몬 자손의 경계는 견고하더라
21:24 But Israel overcame him, and took all his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as
far as the country of the children of Ammon, for the country of the children of
Ammon was strongly armed.
21:24 And Israel stroke him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.
21:25 이스라엘이 이같이 그 모든 성읍을 취하고 그 아모리인의 모든 성읍 헤스본과
그 모든 촌락에 거하였으니
21:25 And Israel took all their towns, living in Heshbon and all the towns and small places
of the Amorites.
21:25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
21:26 헤스본은 아모리인의 왕 시혼의 도성이라 시혼이 모압 전왕을 치고 그 모든
땅을 아르논까지 그 손에서 탈취하였었더라
21:26 For Heshbon was the town of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who had made war against
an earlier king of Moab and taken from him all his land as far as the Arnon.
21:26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
21:27 그러므로 시인이 읊어 가로되 너희는 헤스본으로 올지어다 시혼의
성을 세워 견고히 할지어다
21:27 So the makers of wise sayings say, Come to Heshbon, building up the town of Sihon
and making it strong:
21:27 Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:
21:28 헤스본에서 불이 나오며 시혼의 성에서 화염이 나와서 모압의 아르를
삼키며 아르논 높은 곳의 주인을 멸하였도다
21:28 For a fire has gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the town of Sihon: for the destruction
of Ar in Moab, and the lords of the high places of the Arnon.
21:28 For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it has consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.
21:29 모압아 네가 화를 당하였도다 그모스의 백성아 네가 멸망하였도다
그가 그 아들들로 도망케 하였고 그 딸들로 아모리인의 왕 시혼의 포로가 되게 하였도다
21:29 Sorrow is yours, O Moab! Destruction is your fate, O people of Chemosh: his sons
have gone in flight, and his daughters are prisoners, in the hands of Sihon, king
of the Amorites.
21:29 Woe to you, Moab! you are undone, O people of Chemosh: he has given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
21:30 우리가 그들을 쏘아서 헤스본을 디본까지 멸하였고 메드바에 가까운
노바까지 황폐케 하였도다 하였더라
21:30 They are wounded with our arrows; destruction has come on Heshbon, even to Dibon;
and we have made the land waste as far as Nophah, stretching out to Medeba.
21:30 We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reachs unto Medeba.
21:31 이스라엘이 아모리인의 땅에 거하였더니
21:31 So Israel put up their tents in the land of the Amorites.
21:31 Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
21:32 모세가 또 보내어 야셀을 정탐케 하고 그 촌락들을 취하고 그 곳에 있던
아모리인을 몰아 내었더라
21:32 And Moses sent men secretly to Jazer, and they took its towns, driving out the Amorites
who were living there.
21:32 And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.
21:33 ○ 돌이켜 바산 길로 올라가매 바산 왕 옥이 그 백성을 다 거느리고 나와서
그들을 맞아 에드레이에서 싸우려 하는지라
21:33 Then turning they went up by the way of Bashan; and Og, king of Bashan, went out
against them with all his people, to the fight at Edrei.
21:33 And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.
21:34 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 그를 두려워 말라 내가 그와 그 백성과 그
땅을 네 손에 붙였나니 너는 헤스본에 거하던 아모리인의 왕 시혼에게 행한 것 같이
그에게도 행할지니라
21:34 And the Lord said to Moses, Have no fear of him: for I have given him up into your
hands, with all his people and his land; do to him as you did to Sihon, king of
the Amorites, at Heshbon.
21:34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into your hand, and all his people, and his land; and you shall do to him as you did unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
21:35 이에 그와 그 아들들과 그 백성을 다 쳐서 한 사람도 남기지 아니하고 그
땅을 점령하였더라
21:35 So they overcame him and his sons and his people, driving them all out: and they
took his land for their heritage.
21:35 So they stroke him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.
22:1 이스라엘 자손이 또 진행하여 모압 평지에 진 쳤으니 요단 건너편 곧 여리고
맞은편이더라
22:1 Then the children of Israel, journeying on, put up their tents in the lowlands of
Moab, on the other side of Jordan at Jericho.
22:1 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.
22:2 ○ 십볼의 아들 발락이 이스라엘이 아모리인에게 행한 모든 일을 보았으므로
22:2 Now Balak, the son of Zippor, saw what Israel had done to the Amorites.
22:2 And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.
22:3 모압이 심히 두려워하였으니 이스라엘 백성의 많음을 인함이라 모압이 이스라엘
자손의 연고로 번민하여
22:3 And in Moab there was great fear of the people, because their numbers were so great:
and the feeling of Moab was bitter against the children of Israel.
22:3 And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.
22:4 미디안 장로들에게 이르되 이제 이 무리가 소가 밭의 풀을 뜯어먹음 같이
우리 사면에 있는 것을 다 뜯어먹으리로다 하니 때에 십볼의 아들 발락이 모압 왕이었더라
22:4 Then Moab said to the responsible men of Midian, It is clear that this great people
will be the destruction of everything round us, making a meal of us as the ox does
of the grass of the field. At that time Balak, the son of Zippor, was king of Moab.
22:4 And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.
22:5 그가 사자를 브올의 아들 발람의 본향 강변 브돌에 보내어 발람을 부르게
하여 가로되 보라 한 민족이 애굽에서 나왔는데 그들이 지면에 덮여서 우리 맞은편에
거하였고
22:5 So he sent men to Balaam, son of Beor, at Pethor by the River in the land of the
children of his people, saying to him, See, a people has come out of Egypt, covering
all the face of the earth, and they have put up their tents opposite to me:
22:5 He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide opposite to me:
22:6 우리보다 강하니 청컨대 와서 나를 위하여 이 백성을 저주하라 내가 혹 쳐서
이기어 이 땅에서 몰아내리라 그대가 복을 비는 자는 복을 받고 저주하는 자는 저주를
받을 줄을 내가 앎이니라
22:6 Come now, in answer to my prayer, and put a curse on this people, for they are greater
than I: and then I may be strong enough to overcome them and send them out of the
land: for it is clear that good comes to him who has your blessing, but he on whom
you put your curse is cursed.
22:6 Come now therefore, I pray you, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: possibly I shall prevail, that we may strike them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.
22:7 ○ 모압 장로들과 미디안 장로들이 손에 복술의 예물을 가지고 떠나 발람에게
이르러 발락의 말로 그에게 고하매
22:7 So the responsible men of Moab and Midian went away, taking in their hands rewards
for the prophet; and they came to Balaam and said to him what Balak had given them
orders to say.
22:7 And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spoke unto him the words of Balak.
22:8 발람이 그들에게 이르되 이 밤에 여기서 유숙하라 여호와께서 내게 이르시는
대로 너희에게 대답하리라 모압 귀족들이 발람에게서 유하니라
22:8 And he said to them, Take your rest here tonight, and I will give you an answer
after hearing what the Lord says; so the chiefs of Moab kept there with Balaam that
night.
22:8 And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.
22:9 하나님이 발람에게 임하여 가라사대 너와 함께 한 이 사람들이 누구냐
22:9 And God came to Balaam and said, Who are these men with you?
22:9 And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with you?
22:10 발람이 하나님께 고하되 모압 왕 십볼의 아들 발락이 내게 보낸 자라 이르기를
22:10 And Balaam said to God, Balak, the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent them to
me, saying,
22:10 And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent unto me, saying,
22:11 보라 애굽에서 나온 민족이 있어 지면에 덮였으니 이제 와서 나를 위하여
그들을 저주하라 내가 혹 그들을 쳐서 몰아낼 수 있으리라 하나이다
22:11 See, the people who have come out of Egypt are covering all the earth: now, put
a curse on this people for me, so that I may be able to make war on them, driving
them out of the land.
22:11 Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covers the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; possibly I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
22:12 하나님이 발람에게 이르시되 너는 그들과 함께 가지도 말고 그 백성을 저주하지도
말라 그들은 복을 받은 자니라
22:12 And God said to Balaam, You are not to go with them, or put a curse on this people,
for they have my blessing.
22:12 And God said unto Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people: for they are blessed.
22:13 발람이 아침에 일어나서 발락의 귀족들에게 이르되 너희는 너희의 땅으로
돌아가라 내가 너희와 함께 가기를 여호와께서 허락지 아니하시느니라
22:13 In the morning Balaam got up and said to the chiefs of Balak, Go back to your land,
for the Lord will not let me go with you.
22:13 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD refuses to give me leave to go with you.
22:14 모압 귀족들이 일어나 발락에게로 가서 고하되 발람이 우리와 함께 오기를
거절하더이다
22:14 So the chiefs of Moab went back to Balak and said, Balaam will not come with us.
22:14 And the princes of Moab rose up, and they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuses to come with us.
22:15 발락이 다시 그들보다 더 높은 귀족들을 더 많이 보내매
22:15 So Balak sent more chiefs, greater in number and of higher position than the others.
22:15 And Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honourable than they.
22:16 그들이 발람에게로 나아가서 그에게 이르되 십볼의 아들 발락의 말씀에
청컨대 아무 것에도 거리끼지 말고 내게로 오라
22:16 And they came to Balaam and said, Balak, son of Zippor, says, Let nothing keep you
from coming to me:
22:16 And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus says Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray you, hinder you from coming unto me:
22:17 내가 그대를 높여 크게 존귀케 하고 그대가 내게 말하는 것은 무엇이든지
시행하리니 청컨대 와서 나를 위하여 이 백성을 저주하라 하시더이다
22:17 For I will give you a place of very great honour, and whatever you say to me I will
do; so come, in answer to my prayer, and put a curse on this people.
22:17 For I will promote you unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever you says unto me: come therefore, I pray you, curse me this people.
22:18 발람이 발락의 신하들에게 대답하여 가로되 발락이 그 집에 은, 금을 가득히
채워서 내게 줄지라도 내가 능히 여호와 내 하나님의 말씀을 어기어 덜하거나 더하지
못하겠노라
22:18 But Balaam, in answer; said to the servants of Balak, Even if Balak gave me his
house full of silver and gold, it would not be possible for me to do anything more
or less than the orders of the Lord my God.
22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
22:19 그런즉 이제 너희도 이 밤에 여기서 유하라 여호와께서 내게 무슨 말씀을
더 하실는지 알아보리라
22:19 So take your rest here this night, till I have knowledge what more the Lord has
to say to me.
22:19 Now therefore, I pray you, tarry all of you also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me more.
22:20 밤에 하나님이 발람에게 임하여 이르시되 그 사람들이 너를 부르러 왔거든
일어나 함께 가라 그러나 내가 네게 이르는 말만 준행할지니라
22:20 And that night God came to Balaam and said to him, If these men have come for you,
go with them: but do only what I say to you.
22:20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call you, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto you, that shall you do.
22:21 ○ 발람이 아침에 일어나서 자기 나귀에 안장을 지우고 모압 귀족들과 함께
행하니
22:21 So in the morning Balaam got up and, making his ass ready, went with the chiefs
of Moab.
22:21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.
22:22 그가 행함을 인하여 하나님이 진노하심으로 여호와의 사자가 그를 막으려고
길에 서니라 발람은 자기 나귀를 타고 그 두 종은 그와 함께 있더니
22:22 But God was moved to wrath because he went: and the angel of the Lord took up a
position in the road to keep him from his purpose. Now he was seated on his ass,
and his two servants were with him.
22:22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.
22:23 나귀가 여호와의 사자가 칼을 빼어 손에 들고 길에 선 것을 보고 길에서
떠나 밭으로 들어간지라 발람이 나귀를 길로 돌이키려고 채찍질하니
22:23 And the ass saw the angel of the Lord waiting in the road with his sword in his
hand; and turning from the road, the ass went into the field; and Balaam gave the
ass blows, to get her back on to the road.
22:23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam stroke the ass, to turn her into the way.
22:24 여호와의 사자는 포도원 사이 좁은 길에 섰고 좌우에는 담이 있더라
22:24 Then the angel of the Lord took up his position in a narrow road through the vine-gardens,
with a wall on this side and on that.
22:24 But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.
22:25 나귀가 여호와의 사자를 보고 몸을 담에 대고 발람의 발을 그 담에 비비어
상하게 하매 발람이 다시 채찍질하니
22:25 And the ass saw the angel of the Lord, and went near the wall, crushing Balaam's
foot against the wall; and he gave her more blows.
22:25 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he stroke her again.
22:26 여호와의 사자가 더 나아가서 좌우로 피할 데 없는 좁은 곳에 선지라
22:26 Then the angel of the Lord went further, stopping in a narrow place where there
was no room for turning to the right or to the left.
22:26 And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
22:27 나귀가 여호와의 사자를 보고 발람의 밑에 엎드리니 발람이 노하여 자기
지팡이로 나귀를 때리는지라
22:27 And the ass saw the angel of the Lord and went down on the earth under Balaam; and
full of wrath, Balaam gave her hard blows with his stick.
22:27 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he stroke the ass with a staff.
22:28 여호와께서 나귀 입을 여시니 발람에게 이르되 내가 네게 무엇을 하였기에
나를 이같이 세 번을 때리느뇨
22:28 Then the Lord gave the ass the power of talking, and opening her mouth she said
to Balaam, What have I done to you that you have given me blows these three times?
22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto you, that you have smitten me these three times?
22:29 발람이 나귀에게 말하되 네가 나를 거역하는 연고니 내 손에 칼이 있었더면
곧 너를 죽였으리라
22:29 And Balaam said to the ass, You have made me seem foolish: if only I had a sword
in my hand I would put you to death.
22:29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because you have mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill you.
22:30 나귀가 발람에게 이르되 나는 네가 오늘까지 네 일생에 타는 나귀가 아니냐
내가 언제든지 네게 이같이 하는 행습이 있더냐 가로되 없었느니라
22:30 And the ass said to Balaam, Am I not your ass upon which you have gone all your
life till this day? and have I ever done this to you before? And he said, No.
22:30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I yours ass, upon which you have ridden ever since I was yours unto this day? was I ever known to do so unto you? And he said, Nay.
22:31 ○ 때에 여호와께서 발람의 눈을 밝히시매 여호와의 사자가 손에 칼을 빼어
들고 길에 선 것을 보고 머리를 숙이고 엎드리니
22:31 Then the Lord made Balaam's eyes open, and he saw the angel of the Lord in the way
with his sword in his hand: and he went down on his face to the earth.
22:31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.
22:32 여호와의 사자가 그에게 이르되 너는 어찌하여 네 나귀를 이같이 세 번
때렸느냐 보라 네 길이 내 앞에 패역하므로 내가 너를 막으려고 나왔더니
22:32 And the angel of the Lord said to him, Why have you given your ass blows these three
times? See, I have come out against you to keep you back, because your purpose is
not pleasing to me.
22:32 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore have you smitten yours ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand you, because your way is perverse before me:
22:33 나귀가 나를 보고 이같이 세 번을 돌이켜 내 앞에서 피하였느니라 나귀가
만일 돌이켜 나를 피하지 아니하였더면 내가 벌써 너를 죽이고 나귀는 살렸으리라
22:33 And the ass saw me, turning to one side from me three times: if she had not gone
to one side, I would certainly have put you to death and kept her safe.
22:33 And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain you, and saved her alive.
22:34 발람이 여호와의 사자에게 말씀하되 내가 범죄하였나이다 당신이 나를 막으려고
길에 서신 줄을 내가 알지 못하였나이다 당신이 이를 기뻐하지 아니하시면 나는 돌아가겠나이다
22:34 And Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, I have done wrong, for I did not see that
you were in the way against me: but now, if it is evil in your eyes, I will go back
again.
22:34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that you stood in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease you, I will get me back again.
22:35 여호와의 사자가 발람에게 이르되 그 사람들과 함께 가라 내가 네게 이르는
말만 말할지니라 발람이 발락의 귀족들과 함께 가니라
22:35 And the angel of the Lord said to Balaam, Go with the men; but say only what I give
you to say. Then Balaam went on with the chiefs of Balak.
22:35 And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto you, that you shall speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.
m22:36 ○ 발락이 발람의 온다 함을 듣고 모압 변경의 끝 아르논 가에 있는 성읍까지
가서 그를 영접하고
22:36 Now Balak, hearing that Balaam had come, went to the chief town of Moab, on the
edge of the Arnon, in the farthest part of the land, for the purpose of meeting
him.
22:36 And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, which is in the utmost coast.
22:37 발락이 발람에게 이르되 내가 특별히 보내어 그대를 부르지 아니하였느냐
그대가 어찌 내게 오지 아니하였느냐 내가 어찌 그대를 높여 존귀케 하지 못하겠느냐
22:37 And Balak said to Balaam, Did I not send to you, requesting you with all my heart
to come to me? why did you not come? am I not able to give you a place of honour?
22:37 And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto you to call you? wherefore came you not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote you to honour?
22:38 발람이 발락에게 이르되 내가 오기는 하였으나 무엇을 임의로 말할 수 있으리이까
하나님이 내 입에 주시는 말씀 그것을 말할 뿐이니이다
22:38 Then Balaam said to Balak, Now I have come to you; but have I power to say anything?
Only what God puts into my mouth may I say.
22:38 And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto you: have I now any power at all to say any thing? the word that God puts in my mouth, that shall I speak.
22:39 발람이 발락과 동행하여 기럇후솟에 이르러서는
22:39 And Balaam went with Balak to Kiriath-huzoth.
22:39 And Balaam went with Balak, and they came unto Kirjathhuzoth.
22:40 발락이 우양을 잡아 발람과 그와 함께 한 귀족을 대접하였더라
22:40 And Balak made offerings of oxen and sheep, and sent to Balaam and the chiefs who
were with him.
22:40 And Balak offered oxen and sheep, and sent to Balaam, and to the princes that were with him.
22:41 ○ 아침에 발락이 발람과 함께 하고 그를 인도하여 바알의 산당에 오르매
발람이 거기서 이스라엘 백성의 진 끝까지 보니라
22:41 And in the morning Balak took Balaam up to the high places of Baal, and from there
he was able to see the outer limits of the people.
22:41 And it came to pass on the next day, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, that thence he might see the utmost part of the people.
23:1 발람이 발락에게 이르되 나를 위하여 여기 일곱 단을 쌓고 거기 수송아지
일곱과 수양 일곱을 준비하소서 하매
23:1 And Balaam said to Balak, Make me here seven altars and get ready seven oxen and
seven male sheep.
23:1 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams.
23:2 발락이 발람의 말대로 준비한 후에 발락과 발람이 매 단에 수송아지 하나와
수양 하나를 드리니라
23:2 And Balak did as Balaam had said; and Balak and Balaam made an offering on every
altar of an ox and a male sheep.
23:2 And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.
23:3 발람이 발락에게 이르되 당신의 번제물 곁에 서소서 나는 저리로 갈지라
여호와께서 혹시 오셔서 나를 만나시리니 그가 내게 지시하시는 것은 다 당신에게
고하리이다 하고 사태난 산에 이른즉
23:3 Then Balaam said to Balak, Take your place by your burned offering, and I will go
and see if the Lord comes to me: and I will give you word of whatever he says to
me. And he went to an open place on a hill.
23:3 And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go: possibly the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he shows me I will tell you. And he went to an high place.
23:4 하나님이 발람에게 임하시는지라 발람이 고하되 내가 일곱 단을 베풀고 매
단에 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나를 드렸나이다
23:4 And God came to Balaam, and Balaam said to him, I have made ready seven altars,
offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar.
23:4 And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
23:5 여호와께서 발람의 입에 말씀을 주어 가라사대 발락에게 돌아가서 이렇게
말할지니라
23:5 And the Lord put words in Balaam's mouth, and said, Go back to Balak, and this is
what you are to say.
23:5 And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus you shall speak.
23:6 그가 발락에게 돌아간즉 발락과 모압 모든 귀족이 번제물 곁에 함께 섰더라
23:6 So he went back to him where he was waiting by his burned offering with all the
chiefs of Moab.
23:6 And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.
23:7 발람이 노래를 지어 가로되 발락이 나를 아람에서, 모압 왕이 동편
산에서 데려다가 이르기를 와서 나를 위하여 야곱을 저주하라, 와서 이스라엘을 꾸짖으라
하도다
23:7 And in the words which the Lord had given him he said, From Aram Balak has sent
for me, the king of Moab from the mountains of the East: come, put curses on Jacob
for me and be angry with Israel.
23:7 And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab has brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
23:8 하나님이 저주치 않으신 자를 내 어찌 저주하며 여호와께서 꾸짖지
않으신 자를 내 어찌 꾸짖을꼬
23:8 How may I put curses on him who is not cursed by God? how may I be angry with him
with whom the Lord is not angry?
23:8 How shall I curse, whom God has not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD has not defied?
23:9 내가 바위 위에서 그들을 보며 작은 산에서 그들을 바라보니 이 백성은
홀로 처할 것이라 그를 열방 중의 하나로 여기지 않으리로다
23:9 From the top of the rocks I see him, looking down on him from the hills: it is a
people made separate, not to be numbered among the nations.
23:9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
23:10 야곱의 티끌을 뉘 능히 계산하며 이스라엘 사분지 일을 뉘 능히 계수할꼬
나는 의인의 죽음 같이 죽기를 원하며 나의 종말이 그와 같기를 바라도다 하매
23:10 Who is able to take the measure of the dust of Jacob or the number of the thousands
of Israel? May my death be the death of the upright and my last end like his!
23:10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
23:11 발락이 발람에게 이르되 그대가 어찌 내게 이같이 행하느냐 나의 원수를
저주하라고 그대를 데려왔거늘 그대가 온전히 축복하였도다
23:11 Then Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I sent for you so that my haters
might be cursed, and see, you have given them a blessing.
23:11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What have you done unto me? I took you to curse mine enemies, and, behold, you have blessed them altogether.
23:12 대답하여 가로되 여호와께서 내 입에 주신 말씀을 내가 어찌 말하지 아니할
수 있으리이까
23:12 And in answer he said, Am I not ordered to say only what the Lord puts into my mouth?
23:12 And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD has put in my mouth?
23:13 ○ 발락이 가로되 나와 함께 그들을 달리 볼 곳으로 가자 거기서는 그들을
다 보지 못하고 그 끝만 보리니 거기서 나를 위하여 그들을 저주하라 하고
23:13 And Balak said to him, Come with me now into another place from which you will not
be able to see them all, but only the outskirts of them; and you will send curses
on them from there.
23:13 And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray you, with me unto another place, from whence you may see them: you shall see but the utmost part of them, and shall not see them all: and curse me them from thence.
23:14 소빔 들로 인도하여 비스가 꼭대기에 이르러 일곱 단을 쌓고 매 단에 수송아지
하나와 수양 하나를 드리니
23:14 So he took him into the country of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and there they
made seven altars, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar.
23:14 And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
23:15 발람이 발락에게 이르되 내가 저기서 여호와를 만날 동안에 여기 당신의
번제물 곁에 서소서 하니라
23:15 Then he said to Balak, Take your place here by your burned offering, while I go
over there to the Lord.
23:15 And he said unto Balak, Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.
23:16 여호와께서 발람에게 임하사 그 입에 말씀을 주어 가라사대 발락에게로
돌아가서 이렇게 말할지니라
23:16 And the Lord came to Balaam, and put words in his mouth, and said, Go back to Balak,
and this is what you are to say.
23:16 And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
23:17 발람이 와서 본즉 발락이 번제물 곁에 섰고 모압 귀족들이 함께 있더라
발락이 발람에게 이르되 여호와께서 무슨 말씀을 하시더냐
23:17 So he came to him where he was waiting by his burned offering with the chiefs of
Moab by his side. And Balak said to him, What has the Lord said?
23:17 And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What has the LORD spoken?
23:18 발람이 노래를 지어 가로되 발락이여 일어나 들을지어다 십볼의 아들이여
나를 자세히 들으라
23:18 And in the words which the Lord had given him he said, Up! Balak, and give ear;
give attention to me, O son of Zippor:
23:18 And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, you son of Zippor:
23:19 하나님은 인생이 아니시니 식언치 않으시고 인자가 아니시니 후회가
없으시도다 어찌 그 말씀하신 바를 행치 않으시며 하신 말씀을 실행치 않으시랴
23:19 God is not a man, to say what is false; or the son of man, that his purpose may
be changed: what he has said, will he not do? and will he not give effect to the
words of his mouth?
23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
23:20 내가 축복의 명을 받았으니 그가 하신 축복을 내가 돌이킬 수 없도다
23:20 See, I have had orders to give blessing: and he has given a blessing which I have
no power to take away.
23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he has blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
23:21 여호와는 야곱의 허물을 보지 아니하시며 이스라엘의 패역을 보지
아니하시는도다 여호와 그의 하나님이 그와 함께 계시니 왕을 부르는 소리가 그 중에
있도다
23:21 He has seen no evil in Jacob or wrongdoing in Israel: the Lord his God is with him,
and the glad cry of a king is among them.
23:21 He has not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither has he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
23:22 하나님이 그들을 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨으니 그 힘이 들소와 같도다
23:22 It is God who has taken them out of Egypt; his horns are like those of the mountain
ox.
23:22 God brought them out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of an unicorn (p. ox).
23:23 야곱을 해할 사술이 없고 이스라엘을 해할 복술이 없도다 이 때에
야곱과 이스라엘에 대하여 논할진대 하나님의 행하신 일이 어찌 그리 크뇨 하리로다
23:23 No evil power has effect against Jacob, no secret arts against Israel; at the right
time it will be said of Jacob and of Israel, See what God has done!
23:23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God wrought!
23:24 이 백성이 암사자 같이 일어나고 수사자 같이 일어나서 움킨 것을 먹으며
죽인 피를 마시기 전에는 눕지 아니하리로다 하매
23:24 See, Israel comes up like a she-lion, lifting himself up like a lion: he will take
no rest till he has made a meal of those he has overcome, drinking the blood of
those he has put to death.
23:24 Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
23:25 발락이 발람에게 이르되 그들을 저주하지도 말고 축복하지도 말라
23:25 Then Balak said to Balaam, If you will not put a curse on them, at all events do
not give them a blessing.
23:25 And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.
23:26 발람이 발락에게 대답하여 가로되 내가 당신에게 고하여 이르기를 여호와께서
말씀하신 것은 내가 그대로 하지 않을 수 없다고 하지 아니하더이까
23:26 But Balaam in answer said to Balak, Did I not say to you, I may only do what the
Lord says?
23:26 But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I you, saying, All that the LORD speaks, that I must do?
23:27 ○ 발락이 발람에게 또 이르되 오라 내가 너를 다른 곳으로 인도하리니
네가 거기서 나를 위하여 그들을 저주하기를 하나님이 혹시 기뻐하시리라 하고
23:27 Then Balak said to Balaam, Come now, I will take you to another place; it may be
that God will let you put a curse on them from there.
23:27 And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray you, I will bring you unto another place; possibly it will please God that you may curse me them from thence.
23:28 발락이 발람을 인도하여 광야가 내려다 보이는 브올 산 꼭대기에 이르니
23:28 So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, looking down over the waste land.
23:28 And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looks toward Jeshimon.
23:29 발람이 발락에게 이르되 나를 위하여 여기 일곱 단을 쌓고 거기 수송아지
일곱과 수양 일곱을 준비하소서
23:29 And Balaam said to Balak, Make me seven altars here and get seven oxen and seven
male sheep ready for me.
23:29 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams.
23:30 발락이 발람의 말대로 행하여 매 단에 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나를 드리니라
23:30 And Balak did as Balaam said, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar.
23:30 And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
24:1 발람이 자기가 이스라엘을 축복하는 것을 여호와께서 선히 여기심을 보고
전과 같이 사술을 쓰지 아니하고 그 낯을 광야로 향하여
24:1 Now when Balaam saw that it was the Lord's pleasure to give his blessing to Israel,
he did not, as at other times, make use of secret arts, but turning his face to
the waste land,
24:1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
24:2 눈을 들어 이스라엘이 그 지파대로 거하는 것을 보는 동시에 하나님의 신이
그 위에 임하신지라
24:2 And lifting up his eyes, he saw Israel there, with their tents in the order of their
tribes: and the spirit of God came on him.
24:2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
24:3 그가 노래를 지어 가로되 브올의 아들 발람이 말하며 눈을 감았던 자가 말하며
24:3 And moved by the spirit, he said, These are the words of Balaam, son of Beor, the
words of the man whose eyes are open:
24:3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man whose eyes are open has said:
24:4 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 자, 전능자의 이상을 보는 자, 엎드려서 눈을
뜬 자가 말하기를
24:4 He says, whose ears are open to the words of God, who has seen the vision of the
Ruler of all, falling down, but having his eyes open:
24:4 He has said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
24:5 야곱이여 네 장막이, 이스라엘이여 네 거처가 어찌 그리 아름다운고
24:5 How fair are your tents, O Jacob, your houses, O Israel!
24:5 How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, and your tabernacles, O Israel!
24:6 그 벌어짐이 골짜기 같고, 강 가의 동산 같으며, 여호와의 심으신 침향목들
같고, 물가의 백향목들 같도다
24:6 They are stretched out like valleys, like gardens by the riverside, like flowering
trees planted by the Lord, like cedar-trees by the waters.
24:6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD has planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
24:7 그 통에서는 물이 넘치겠고 그 종자는 많은 물가에 있으리로다 그
왕이 아각보다 높으니 그 나라가 진흥하리로다
24:7 Peoples will be in fear before his strength, his arm will be on great nations: his
king will be higher than Agag, and his kingdom made great in honour.
24:7 He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
24:8 하나님이 그를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨으니 그 힘이 들소와 같도다
그 적국을 삼키고 그들의 뼈를 꺽으며 화살을 쏘아 꿰뚫으리로다
24:8 It is God who has taken him out of Egypt; his horns are like those of the mountain
ox; the nations warring against him will be his food, their bones will be broken,
they will be wounded with his arrows.
24:8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of an unicorn (p. ox): he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
24:9 꿇어 앉고 누움이 수사자와 같고 암사자와도 같으니 일으킬 자 누구이랴
너를 축복하는 자마다 복을 받을 것이요 너를 저주하는 자마다 저주를 받을지로다
24:9 He took his sleep stretched out like a lion, and like a she-lion: by whom will his
rest be broken? May a blessing be on everyone who gives you blessing, and a curse
on everyone by whom you are cursed.
24:9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesses you, and cursed is he that curses you.
24:10 ○ 발락이 발람에게 노하여 손뼉을 치며 발람에게 말하되 내가 그대를 부른
것은 내 원수를 저주하라 함이어늘 그대가 이같이 세 번 그들을 축복하였도다
24:10 Then Balak was full of wrath against Balaam, and angrily waving his hands he said
to Balaam, I sent for you so that those who are against me might be cursed, but
now, see, three times you have given them a blessing.
24:10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he stroke his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called you to curse mine enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.
24:11 그러므로 그대는 이제 그대의 곳으로 달려가라 내가 그대를 높여 심히 존귀케
하기로 뜻하였더니 여호와가 그대를 막아 존귀치 못하게 하셨도다
24:11 Go back quickly to the place you came from: it was my purpose to give you a place
of honour, but now the Lord has kept you back from honour.
24:11 Therefore now flee you to your place: I thought to promote you unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD has kept you back from honour.
24:12 발람이 발락에게 이르되 당신이 내게 보낸 사자들에게 내가 고하여 이르지
아니하였나이까
24:12 Then Balaam said to Balak, Did I not say to the men you sent to me,
24:12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spoke I not also to your messengers which you sent unto me, saying,
24:13 가령 발락이 그 집에 은금을 가득히 채워서 내게 줄지라도 나는 여호와의
말씀을 어기고 선악간 임의로 행하지 못하고 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 말하리라 하지
아니하였나이까
24:13 Even if Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, it would not be possible
for me to go outside the orders of the Lord, doing good or evil at the impulse of
my mind; whatever the Lord says I will say?
24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD says, that will I speak?
24:14 이제 나는 내 백성에게로 돌아가거니와 들으소서 내가 이 백성이 후일에
당신의 백성에게 어떻게 할 것을 당신에게 고하리이다 하고
24:14 So now I will go back to my people: but first let me make clear to you what this
people will do to your people in days to come.
24:14 And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.
24:15 노래를 지어 가로되 브올의 아들 발람이 말하며 눈을 감았던 자가
말하며
24:15 Then he went on with his story and said, These are the words of Balaam, the son
of Beor, the words of him whose eyes are open:
24:15 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man whose eyes are open has said:
24:16 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 자가 말하며 지극히 높으신 자의 지식을 아는
자, 전능자의 이상을 보는 자, 엎드려서 눈을 뜬 자가 말하기를
24:16 He says, whose ear is open to the words of God, who has knowledge of the Most High,
who has seen the vision of the Ruler of all, falling down and having his eyes open:
24:16 He has said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
24:17 내가 그를 보아도 이 때의 일이 아니며 내가 그를 바라보아도 가까운
일이 아니로다 한 별이 야곱에게서 나오며 한 홀이 이스라엘에게서 일어나서 모압을
이편에서 저편까지 쳐서 파하고 또 소동하는 자식들을 다 멸하리로다
24:17 I see him, but not now: looking on him, but not near: a star will come out of Jacob,
and a rod of authority out of Israel, sending destruction to the farthest limits
of Moab and on the head of all the sons of Sheth.
24:17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall strike the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
24:18 그 원수 에돔은 그들의 산업이 되며 그 원수 세일도 그들의 산업이
되고 그 동시에 이스라엘은 용감히 행동하리로다
24:18 Edom will be his heritage, and he will put an end to the last of the people of Seir.
24:18 And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
24:19 주권자가 야곱에게서 나서 남은 자들을 그 성읍에서 멸절하리로다 하고
24:19 And Israel will go on in strength, and Jacob will have rule over his haters.
24:19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remains of the city.
24:20 또 아말렉을 바라보며 노래를 지어 가로되 아말렉은 열국 중 으뜸이나
종말은 멸망에 이르리로다 하고
24:20 Then, turning his eyes to Amalek, he went on with his story and said, Amalek was
the first of the nations, but his part will be destruction for ever.
24:20 And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
24:21 또 가인 족속을 바라보며 노래를 지어 가로되 너의 거처가 견고하니 네
보금자리는 바위에 있도다
24:21 And looking on the Kenites he went on with his story and said, Strong is your living-place,
and your secret place is safe in the rock.
24:21 And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is your dwelling place, and you put your nest in a rock.
24:22 그러나 가인이 쇠미하리니 나중에는 앗수르의 포로가 되리로다 하고
24:22 But still the Kenites will be wasted, till Asshur takes you away prisoner.
24:22 Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry you away captive.
24:23 또 노래를 지어 가로되 슬프다 하나님이 이 일을 행하시리니 그때에 살
자가 누구이랴
24:23 Then he went on with his story and said, But who may keep his life when God does
this?
24:23 And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God does this!
24:24 깃딤 해변에서 배들이 와서 앗수르를 학대하며 에벨을 괴롭게 하리라마는
그도 멸망하리로다 하고
24:24 But ships will come from the direction of Kittim, troubling Asshur and troubling
Eber, and like the others their fate will be destruction.
24:24 And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.
24:25 발람이 일어나 자기 곳으로 돌아갔고 발락도 자기 길로 갔더라
24:25 Then Balaam got up and went back to his place: and Balak went away.
24:25 And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
25:1 이스라엘이 싯딤에 머물러 있더니 그 백성이 모압 여자들과 음행하기를 시작하니라
25:1 Now when Israel was living in Shittim the people became false to the Lord, doing
evil with the daughters of Moab:
25:1 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
25:2 그 여자들이 그 신들에게 제사할 때에 백성을 청하매 백성이 먹고 그들의
신들에게 절하므로
25:2 For they sent for the people to be present at the offerings made to their gods;
and the people took part in their feasts and gave honour to their gods.
25:2 And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
25:3 이스라엘이 바알브올에게 부속된지라 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 진노하시니라
25:3 So Israel had relations with the women of Moab in honour of the Baal of Peor: and
the Lord was moved to wrath against Israel.
25:3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
25:4 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성의 두령들을 잡아 태양을 향하여 여호와
앞에 목매어 달라 그리하면 여호와의 진노가 이스라엘에게서 떠나리라
25:4 Then the Lord said to Moses, Take all the chiefs of the people, hanging them up
in the sun before the Lord, so that the wrath of the Lord may be turned from Israel.
25:4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
25:5 모세가 이스라엘 사사들에게 이르되 너희는 각기 관할하는 자 중에 바알브올에게
부속한 사람들을 죽이라 하니라
25:5 So Moses said to the judges of Israel, Let everyone put to death those of his men
who have had relations with the women of Moab in honour of the Baal of Peor.
25:5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay all of you every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
25:6 ○ 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 회막문에서 울 때에 이스라엘 자손 한 사람이
모세와 온 회중의 목전에 미디안의 한 여인을 데리고 그 형제에게로 온지라
25:6 Then one of the children of Israel came to his brothers, taking with him a woman
of Midian, before the eyes of Moses and all the meeting of the people, while they
were weeping at the door of the Tent of meeting.
25:6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
25:7 제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 보고 회중의 가운데서 일어나
손에 창을 들고
25:7 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, seeing it, got up
from among the people and took a spear in his hand,
25:7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
25:8 그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 그의 막에 들어가서 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의
배를 꿰뚫어서 두 사람을 죽이니 염병이 이스라엘 자손에게서 그쳤더라
25:8 And went after the man of Israel into the tent, driving the spear through the two
of them, through the man of Israel and through the stomach of the woman. So the
disease was stopped among the children of Israel.
25:8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
25:9 그 염병으로 죽은 자가 이만 사천 명이었더라
25:9 But twenty-four thousand of them had come to their death by the disease.
25:9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
25:10 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
25:10 And the Lord said to Moses,
25:10 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
25:11 제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 나의 질투심으로 질투하여
이스라엘 자손 중에서 나의 노를 돌이켜서 나의 질투심으로 그들을 진멸하지 않게
하였도다
25:11 Through Phinehas, and because of his passion for my honour, my wrath has been turned
away from the children of Israel, so that I have not sent destruction on them all
in my wrath.
25:11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
25:12 그러므로 말하라 내가 그에게 나의 평화의 언약을 주리니
25:12 So say to them that I will make with him an agreement of peace:
25:12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
25:13 그와 그 후손에게 영원한 제사장 직분의 언약이라 그가 그 하나님을 위하여
질투하여 이스라엘 자손을 속죄하였음이니라
25:13 And by this agreement, he and his sons after him have the right to be priests for
ever; because, by his care for the honour of his God, he took away the sin of the
children of Israel.
25:13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
25:14 ○ 죽임을 당한 이스라엘 남자 곧 미디안 여인과 함께 죽임을 당한 자의
이름은 시므리니 살루의 아들이요 시므온인의 종족 중 한 족장이며
25:14 Now the man of Israel who was put to death with the woman of Midian was Zimri, the
son of Salu, a chief of one of the families of the Simeonites.
25:14 Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.
25:15 죽임을 당한 미디안 여인의 이름은 고스비니 수르의 딸이라 수르는 미디안
백성 한 종족의 두령이었더라
25:15 And the woman of Midian who was put to death was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he
was the head of a family in Midian.
25:15 And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.
25:16 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
25:16 Then the Lord said to Moses,
25:16 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
25:17 미디안인들을 박해하며 그들을 치라
25:17 Take up arms against the Midianites and overcome them;
25:17 Vex the Midianites, and strike them:
25:18 이는 그들이 궤계로 너희를 박해하되 브올의 일과 미디안 족장의 딸 곧
브올의 일로 염병이 일어난 날에 죽임을 당한 그들의 자매 고스비의 사건으로 너희를
유혹하였음이니라
25:18 For they are a danger to you with their false ways, causing sin to come on you in
the question of Peor, and because of Cozbi, their sister, the daughter of the chief
of Midian, who was put to death at the time of the disease which came on you because
of Peor.
25:18 For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have misled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.
26:1 염병 후에 여호와께서 모세와 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살에게 일러 가라사대
26:1 Now after the disease was over, the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar, the son of Aaron
the priest,
26:1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
26:2 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중의 총수를 그 조상의 집을 따라 조사하되 이스라엘
중에 무릇 이십 세 이상으로 능히 싸움에 나갈 만한 자를 계수하라 하시니
26:2 Let all the children of Israel be numbered, by the names of their fathers' families,
all those of twenty years old and over who are able to go to war in Israel.
26:2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.
26:3 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 그들에게
고하여 가로되
26:3 So Moses and Eleazar the priest gave them the order in the lowlands of Moab by Jordan
at Jericho, saying,
26:3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
26:4 여호와께서 애굽 땅에서 나온 모세와 이스라엘 자손에게 명하신 대로 너희는
이십 세 이상된 자를 계수하라 하니라
26:4 Let all the people of twenty years old and over be numbered, as the Lord has given
orders to Moses and the children of Israel who have come out of Egypt.
26:4 Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

26:9 엘리압의 아들은 느무엘과 다단과 아비람이라 이 다단과 아비람은 회중 가운데서
부름을 받은 자러니 고라의 무리에 들어가서 모세와 아론을 거스려 여호와께 패역할
때에
26:9 And the sons of Eliab: Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram. These are the same Dathan and
Abiram who had a place in the meeting of the people, who together with Korah made
an outcry against Moses and Aaron and against the Lord:
26:9 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:
26:10 땅이 그 입을 열어서 그 무리와 고라를 삼키매 그들이 죽었고 당시에 불이
이백 오십 명을 삼켜 징계가 되게 하였으나
26:10 And they went down into the open mouth of the earth, together with Korah, when death
overtook him and all his band; at the time when two hundred and fifty men were burned
in the fire, and they became a sign.
26:10 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
26:11 그러나 고라의 아들들은 죽지 아니하였더라
26:11 But death did not overtake the sons of Korah.
26:11 Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.

26:51 These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
26:52 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
26:52 And the Lord said to Moses,
26:52 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
26:53 이 명수대로 땅을 나눠 주어 기업을 삼게 하라
26:53 Let there be a division of the land among these, for their heritage, in relation
to the number of names.
26:53 Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
26:54 수가 많은 자에게는 기업을 많이 줄 것이요 수가 적은 자에게는 기업을
적게 줄 것이니 그들의 계수함을 입은 수대로 각기 기업을 주되
26:54 To those families who are more in number, give a greater heritage; to those who
are less in number, a smaller part: to every one let the heritage be given in relation
to the number in his family.
26:54 To many you shall give the more inheritance, and to few you shall give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
26:55 오직 그 땅을 제비 뽑아 나누어 그들의 조상 지파의 이름을 따라 얻게 할지니라
26:55 But let the distribution of the land be made by the decision of the Lord: by the
names of the tribes of their fathers let their heritage be given them.
26:55 Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
26:56 그 다소를 물론하고 그 기업을 제비 뽑아 나눌지니라
26:56 As it is ordered by the decision of the Lord, let distribution be made between those
who are more in number and those who are less.
26:56 According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.
26:57 ○ 레위인의 계수함을 입은 자는 그 종족대로 이러하니 게르손에게서 난
게르손 가족과 고핫에게서 난 고핫 가족과 므라리에게서 난 므라리 가족이며
26:57 These were those of the Levites who were numbered by their families: of Gershon,
the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari,
the family of the Merarites.
26:57 And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
26:58 레위 종족들은 이러하니 립니 가족과 헤브론 가족과 말리 가족과 무시 가족과
고라 가족이라 고핫은 아므람을 낳았으며
26:58 These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites,
the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites.
And Kohath was the father of Amram.
26:58 These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath brings forth Amram.
26:59 아므람의 처의 이름은 요게벳이니 레위의 딸이요 애굽에서 레위에게서 난

26:59 Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom he had in Egypt: by Amram
she had Moses and Aaron and their sister Miriam.
26:59 And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
26:60 아론에게서는 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이 났더니
26:60 Aaron's sons were Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
26:60 And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
26:61 나답과 아비후는 다른 불을 여호와 앞에 드리다가 죽었더라
26:61 Death overtook Nadab and Abihu when they made an offering of strange fire before
the Lord.
26:61 And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
26:62 레위인의 일 개월 이상으로 계수함을 입은 모든 남자가 이만 삼천 명이었더라
그들은 이스라엘 자손 중 계수에 들지 아니하였으니 이는 이스라엘 자손 중에서 그들에게
준 기업이 없음이었더라
26:62 Of these, twenty-three thousand males, from one month old and over, were numbered:
they were not numbered with the rest of the children of Israel, for they had no
heritage among the children of Israel.
26:62 And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
26:63 ○ 이는 모세와 제사장 엘르아살의 계수한 자라 그들이 여리고 맞은편 요단
가 모압 평지에서 이스라엘 자손을 계수한 중에는
26:63 All these were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest when the children of Israel
were numbered in the lowlands of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
26:63 These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
26:64 모세와 제사장 아론이 시내 광야에서 계수한 이스라엘 자손은 한 사람도
들지 못하였으니
26:64 But among all these was not one of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest
when the children of Israel were numbered in the waste land of Sinai.
26:64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
26:65 이는 여호와께서 그들에게 대하여 말씀하시기를 그들이 반드시 광야에서
죽으리라 하셨음이라 이러므로 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아 외에는
한 사람도 남지 아니하였더라
26:65 For the Lord had said of them, Death will certainly overtake them in the waste land.
And of them all, only Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun, were
still living.
26:65 For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
27:1 요셉의 아들 므낫세 가족에 므낫세의 현손 마길의 증손 길르앗의 손자 헤벨의
아들 슬로브핫의 딸들이 나아 왔으니 그 딸들의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와
디르사라
27:1 Then the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son
of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh, the son of Joseph,
came forward: their names are Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
27:1 Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
27:2 그들이 회막문에서 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 족장들과 온 회중 앞에 서서 가로되
27:2 They came before Moses and Eleazar the priest and the chiefs and all the people
at the door of the Tent of meeting, and said,
27:2 And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
27:3 우리 아버지가 광야에서 죽었으나 여호와를 거스려 모인 고라의 무리에 들지
아니하고 자기 죄에 죽었고 아들이 없나이다
27:3 Death overtook our father in the waste land; he was not among those who were banded
together with Korah against the Lord; but death came to him in his sin; and he had
no sons.
27:3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
27:4 어찌하여 아들이 없다고 우리 아버지의 이름이 그 가족 중에서 삭제되리이까
우리 아버지의 형제 중에서 우리에게 기업을 주소서 하매
27:4 Why is the name of our father to be taken away from among his family, because he
had no son? Give us a heritage among our father's brothers.
27:4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he has no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
27:5 모세가 그 사연을 여호와께 품하니라
27:5 So Moses put their cause before the Lord.
27:5 And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.
27:6 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
27:6 And the Lord said to Moses,
27:6 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
27:7 슬로브핫 딸들의 말이 옳으니 너는 반드시 그들의 아비의 형제 중에서 그들에게
기업을 주어 얻게 하되 그 아비의 기업으로 그들에게 돌릴지니라
27:7 What the daughters of Zelophehad say is right: certainly you are to give them a
heritage among their father's brothers: and let the property which would have been
their father's go to them.
27:7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: you shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
27:8 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르기를 사람이 죽고 아들이 없거든 그
기업을 그 딸에게 돌릴 것이요
27:8 And say to the children of Israel, If a man has no son at the time of his death,
let his heritage go to his daughter.
27:8 And you shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then all of you shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
27:9 딸도 없거든 그 기업을 그 형제에게 줄 것이요
27:9 And if he has no daughter, then give his heritage to his brothers.
27:9 And if he have no daughter, then all of you shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
27:10 형제도 없거든 그 기업을 그 아비의 형제에게 줄 것이요
27:10 And if he has no brothers, then give his heritage to his father's brothers.
27:10 And if he have no brethren, then all of you shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.
27:11 그 아비의 형제도 없거든 그 기업을 가장 가까운 친족에게 주어 얻게 할지니라
하고 나 여호와가 너 모세에게 명한 대로 이스라엘 자손에게 판결의 율례가 되게 할지니라
27:11 And if his father has no brothers, then give it to his nearest relation in the family,
as his heritage: this is to be a decision made by law for the children of Israel,
as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
27:11 And if his father have no brethren, then all of you shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.
27:12 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 이 아바림 산에 올라가서 내가 이스라엘
자손에게 준 땅을 바라보라
27:12 And the Lord said to Moses, Go up into this mountain of Abarim so that you may see
the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
27:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Get you up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel.
27:13 본 후에는 네 형 아론의 돌아간 것 같이 너도 조상에게로 돌아가리니
27:13 And when you have seen it, you will be put to rest with your people, as your brother
Aaron was:
27:13 And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered unto your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.
27:14 이는 신 광야에서 회중이 분쟁할제 너희가 내 명을 거역하고 그 물가에서
나의 거룩함을 그들의 목전에 나타내지 아니하였음이니라 이 물은 신 광야 가데스의
므리바 물이니라
27:14 Because in the waste land of Zin, when the people were angry, you and he went against
my word and did not keep my name holy before their eyes, at the waters. (These are
the waters of Meribah in Kadesh in the waste land of Zin.)
27:14 For all of you rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
27:15 모세가 여호와께 여짜와 가로되
27:15 Then Moses said to the Lord,
27:15 And Moses spoke unto the LORD, saying,
27:16 여호와 모든 육체의 생명의 하나님이시여 원컨대 한 사람을 이 회중 위에 세워서
27:16 Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, put a man at the head of this
people,
27:16 Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
27:17 그로 그들 앞에 출입하며 그들을 인도하여 출입하게 하사 여호와의 회중으로
목자 없는 양과 같이 되지 않게 하옵소서
27:17 To go out and come in before them and be their guide; so that the people of the
Lord may not be like sheep without a keeper.
27:17 Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
27:18 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 눈의 아들 여호수아는 신에 감동된 자니
너는 데려다가 그에게 안수하고
27:18 And the Lord said to Moses, Take Joshua, the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit,
and put your hand on him;
27:18 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take you Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay yours hand upon him;
27:19 그를 제사장 엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고 그들의 목전에서 그에게 위탁하여
27:19 And take him before Eleazar the priest and all the meeting of the people, and give
him his orders before their eyes.
27:19 And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.
27:20 네 존귀를 그에게 돌려 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중으로 그에게 복종하게 하라
27:20 And put your honour on him, so that all the children of Israel may be under his
authority.
27:20 And you shall put some of yours honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.
27:21 그는 제사장 엘르아살 앞에 설 것이요 엘르아살은 그를 위하여 우림의 판결법으로
여호와 앞에 물을 것이며 그와 온 이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중은 엘르아살의 말을 좇아
나가며 들어올 것이니라
27:21 He will take his place before Eleazar the priest, so that he may get directions
from the Lord for him, with the Urim: at his word they will go out, and at his word
they will come in, he and all the children of Israel.
27:21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.
27:22 모세가 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하여 여호수아를 데려다가 제사장
엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고
27:22 So Moses did as the Lord said: he took Joshua and put him before Eleazar the priest
and the meeting of the people:
27:22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
27:23 그에게 안수하여 위탁하되 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하였더라
27:23 And he put his hands on him and gave him his orders, as the Lord had said by Moses.
27:23 And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
