1:1 사람들에게서 난 것도 아니요 사람으로 말미암은 것도 아니요 오직 예수 그리스도와
및 죽은 자 가운데서 그리스도를 살리신 하나님 아버지로 말미암아 사도 된 바울은
1:1 Paul, an Apostle (not from men, and not through man, but through Jesus Christ, and
God the Father, who made him come back from the dead),

1:2 함께 있는 모든 형제로 더불어 갈라디아 여러 교회들에게
1:2 And all the brothers who are with me, to the churches of Galatia:

1:3 우리 하나님 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로 좇아 은혜와 평강이 있기를 원하노라
1:3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
1:3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus
Christ,
1:4 그리스도께서 하나님 곧 우리 아버지의 뜻을 따라 이 악한 세대에서 우리를
건지시려고 우리 죄를 위하여 자기 몸을 드리셨으니
1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, so that he might make us free from this present evil
world, after the purpose of our God and Father:
1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present
evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
1:5 영광이 저에게 세세토록 있을지어다 아멘
1:5 To whom be the glory for ever and ever. So be it.

1:6 ○ 그리스도의 은혜로 너희를 부르신 이를 이같이 속히 떠나 다른 복음 좇는
것을 내가 이상히 여기노라
1:6 I am surprised that you are being so quickly turned away from him whose word came
to you in the grace of Christ, to good news of a different sort;
1:6 I marvel that all of you are so soon removed from him that called you
into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
1:7 다른 복음은 없나니 다만 어떤 사람들이 너희를 요란케 하여 그리스도의 복음을
변하려 함이라
1:7 Which is not another sort: only there are some who give you trouble, desiring to
make changes in the good news of Christ.
1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert
the gospel of Christ.
1:8 그러나 우리나 혹 하늘로부터 온 천사라도 우리가 너희에게 전한 복음 외에
다른 복음을 전하면 저주를 받을지어다
1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, were to be a preacher to you of good news
other than that which we have given you, let there be a curse on him.
1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
1:9 우리가 전에 말하였거니와 내가 지금 다시 말하노니 만일 누구든지 너희의
받은 것 외에 다른 복음을 전하면 저주를 받을지어다
1:9 As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man is a preacher to you of any
good news other than that which has been given to you, let there be a curse on him.
1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel
unto you than that all of you have received, let him be accursed.
1:10 이제 내가 사람들에게 좋게 하랴 하나님께 좋게 하랴 사람들에게 기쁨을
구하랴 내가 지금까지 사람의 기쁨을 구하는 것이었더면 그리스도의 종이 아니니라
1:10 Am I now using arguments to men, or God? or is it my desire to give men pleasure?
if I was still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if
I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
1:11 ○ 형제들아 내가 너희에게 알게 하노니 내가 전한 복음이 사람의 뜻을 따라
된 것이 아니라
1:11 Because I say to you, my brothers, that the good news of which I was the preacher
is not man's.
1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me
is not after man.
1:12 이는 내가 사람에게서 받은 것도 아니요 배운 것도 아니요 오직 예수 그리스도의
계시로 말미암은 것이라
1:12 For I did not get it from man, and I was not given teaching in it, but it came to
me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the
revelation of Jesus Christ.
1:13 내가 이전에 유대교에 있을 때에 행한 일을 너희가 들었거니와 하나님의
교회를 심히 핍박하여 잔해하고
1:13 For news has come to you of my way of life in the past in the Jews' religion, how
I was cruel without measure to the church of God, and did great damage to it:
1:13 For all of you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews'
religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted
it:
1:14 내가 내 동족 중 여러 연갑자보다 유대교를 지나치게 믿어 내 조상의 유전에
대하여 더욱 열심이 있었으나
1:14 And I went farther in the Jews' religion than a number of my generation among my
countrymen, having a more burning interest in the beliefs handed down from my fathers.
1:14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own
nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
1:15 그러나 내 어머니의 태로부터 나를 택정하시고 은혜로 나를 부르신 이가
1:15 But when it was the good pleasure of God, by whom I was marked out even from my
mother's body, through his grace,
1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and
called me by his grace,
1:16 그 아들을 이방에 전하기 위하여 그를 내 속에 나타내시기를 기뻐하실 때에
내가 곧 혈육과 의논하지 아니하고
1:16 To give the revelation of his Son in me, so that I might give the news of him to
the Gentiles; then I did not take the opinion of flesh and blood,
1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen;
immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
1:17 또 나보다 먼저 사도 된 자들을 만나려고 예루살렘으로 가지 아니하고 오직
아라비아로 갔다가 다시 다메섹으로 돌아갔노라
1:17 And I went not up to Jerusalem to those who were Apostles before me; but I went
away into Arabia, and again I came back to Damascus.
1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me;
but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
1:18 ○ 그 후 삼 년 만에 내가 게바를 심방하려고 예루살렘에 올라가서 저와 함께
십 오 일을 유할새
1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Cephas, and was there with
him fifteen days.
1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode
with him fifteen days.
1:19 주의 형제 야고보 외에 다른 사도들을 보지 못하였노라
1:19 But of the other Apostles I saw only James, the Lord's brother.
1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
1:20 보라 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 하나님 앞에서 거짓말이 아니로라
1:20 Now God is witness that the things which I am writing to you are true.
1:20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
1:21 그 후에 내가 수리아와 길리기아 지방에 이르렀으나
1:21 Then I came to the parts of Syria and Cilicia.
1:21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
1:22 유대에 그리스도 안에 있는 교회들이 나를 얼굴로 알지 못하고
1:22 And the churches of Judaea which were in Christ still had no knowledge of my face
or person:
1:22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
1:23 다만 우리를 핍박하던 자가 전에 잔해하던 그 믿음을 지금 전한다 함을 듣고
1:23 Only it came to their ears that he who at one time was cruel to us is now preaching
the faith which before had been attacked by him;
1:23 But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now
preaches the faith which once he destroyed.
1:24 나로 말미암아 영광을 하나님께 돌리니라
1:24 And they gave glory to God in me.
1:24 And they glorified God in me.
2:1 십 사 년 후에 내가 바나바와 함께 디도를 데리고 다시 예루살렘에 올라갔노니
2:1 Then after the space of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas,
taking Titus with me.
2:1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas,
and took Titus with me also.
2:2 계시를 인하여 올라가 내가 이방 가운데서 전파하는 복음을 저희에게 제출하되
유명한 자들에게 사사로이 한 것은 내가 달음질하는 것이나 달음질한 것이 헛되지
않게 하려 함이라
2:2 And I went up by revelation; and I put before them the good news which I was preaching
among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were of good name, so that the
work which I was or had been doing might not be without effect.
2:2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which
I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation,
lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
2:3 그러나 나와 함께 있는 헬라인 디도라도 억지로 할례를 받게 아니하였으니
2:3 But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was made to undergo circumcision:
2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be
circumcised:
2:4 이는 가만히 들어온 거짓 형제 까닭이라 저희가 가만히 들어온 것은 그리스도
예수 안에서 우리의 가진 자유를 엿보고 우리를 종으로 삼고자 함이로되
2:4 And that because of the false brothers let in secretly, who came searching out our
free condition which we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might make servants of
us;
2:4 And that because of false brethren unexpectedly brought in, who came
in privately to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they
might bring us into bondage:
2:5 우리가 일시라도 복종치 아니하였으니 이는 복음의 진리로 너희 가운데 항상
있게 하려 함이라
2:5 To whom we gave way not even for an hour; so that the true words of the good news
might still be with you.
2:5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth
of the gospel might continue with you.
2:6 유명하다는 이들 중에 {본래 어떤 이들이든지 내게 상관이 없으며 하나님은
사람의 외모를 취하지 아니하시나니} 저 유명한 이들은 내게 더하여 준 것이 없고
2:6 But from those who seemed to be important (whatever they were has no weight with
me: God does not take man's person into account): those who seemed to be important
gave nothing new to me;
2:6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it makes
no matter to me: God accepts no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat
in conference added nothing to me:
2:7 도리어 내가 무할례자에게 복음 전함을 맡기를 베드로가 할례자에게 맡음과
같이 한 것을 보고
2:7 But, quite the opposite, when they saw that I had been made responsible for preaching
the good news to those without circumcision, even as Peter had been for those of
the circumcision
2:7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision
was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
2:8 베드로에게 역사하사 그를 할례자의 사도로 삼으신 이가 또한 내게 역사하사
나를 이방인에게 사도로 삼으셨느니라
2:8 (Because he who was working in Peter as the Apostle of the circumcision was working
no less in me among the Gentiles);
2:8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision,
the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
2:9 또 내게 주신 은혜를 알므로 기둥 같이 여기는 야고보와 게바와 요한도 나와
바나바에게 교제의 악수를 하였으니 이는 우리는 이방인에게로, 저희는 할례자에게로
가게 하려 함이라
2:9 When they saw the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who had
the name of being pillars, gave to me and Barnabas their right hands as friends
so that we might go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision;
2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived
the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands
of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
2:10 다만 우리에게 가난한 자들 생각하는 것을 부탁하였으니 이것을 나도 본래
힘써 행하노라
2:10 Only it was their desire that we would give thought to the poor; which very thing
I had much in mind to do.
2:10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also
was forward to do.
2:11 ○ 게바가 안디옥에 이르렀을 때에 책망할 일이 있기로 내가 저를 면책하였노라
2:11 But when Cephas came to Antioch, I made a protest against him to his face, because
he was clearly in the wrong.
2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because
he was to be blamed.
2:12 야고보에게서 온 어떤 이들이 이르기 전에 게바가 이방인과 함께 먹다가 저희가
오매 그가 할례자들을 두려워하여 떠나 물러가매
2:12 For before certain men came from James, he did take food with the Gentiles: but
when they came, he went back and made himself separate, fearing those who were of
the circumcision.
2:12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles:
but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which
were of the circumcision.
2:13 남은 유대인들도 저와 같이 외식하므로 바나바도 저희의 외식에 유혹되었느니라
2:13 And the rest of the Jews went after him, so that even Barnabas was overcome by their
false ways.
2:13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas
also was carried away with their dissimulation.
2:14 그러므로 나는 저희가 복음의 진리를 따라 바로 행하지 아니함을 보고 모든
자 앞에서 게바에게 이르되 네가 유대인으로서 이방을 좇고 유대인답게 살지 아니하면서
어찌하여 억지로 이방인을 유대인답게 살게 하려느냐 하였노라
2:14 But when I saw that they were not living uprightly in agreement with the true words
of the good news, I said to Cephas before them all, If you, being a Jew, are living
like the Gentiles, and not like the Jews, how will you make the Gentiles do the
same as the Jews?
2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth
of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If you, being a Jew, live
after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compell you the Gentiles
to live as do the Jews?
2:15 우리는 본래 유대인이요 이방 죄인이 아니로되
2:15 We being Jews by birth, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
2:15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
2:16 사람이 의롭게 되는 것은 율법의 행위에서 난 것이 아니요 오직 예수 그리스도를
믿음으로 말미암는 줄 아는 고로 우리도 그리스도 예수를 믿나니 이는 우리가 율법의
행위에서 아니고 그리스도를 믿음으로서 의롭다 함을 얻으려 함이라 율법의 행위로서는
의롭다 함을 얻을 육체가 없느니라
2:16 Being conscious that a man does not get righteousness by the works of the law, but
through faith in Jesus Christ, we had faith in Christ Jesus, so that we might get
righteousness by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the
works of the law will no flesh get righteousness.
2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by
the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might
be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by
the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
2:17 만일 우리가 그리스도 안에서 의롭게 되려 하다가 죄인으로 나타나면 그리스도께서
죄를 짓게 하는 자냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라
2:17 But if, while we were desiring to get righteousness through Christ, we ourselves
were seen to be sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? In no way!
2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are
found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
2:18 만일 내가 헐었던 것을 다시 세우면 내가 나를 범법한 자로 만드는 것이라
2:18 For if I put up again those things which I gave to destruction, I am seen to be
a wrongdoer.
2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
2:19 내가 율법으로 말미암아 율법을 향하여 죽었나니 이는 하나님을 향하여 살려
함이니라
2:19 For I, through the law, have become dead to the law, so that I might be living to
God.
2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
2:20 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이
아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은
나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서
사는 것이라
2:20 I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer
I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh
I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself
up for me.
2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith
of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
2:21 내가 하나님의 은혜를 폐하지 아니하노니 만일 의롭게 되는 것이 율법으로
말미암으면 그리스도께서 헛되이 죽으셨느니라
2:21 I do not make the grace of God of no effect: because if righteousness is through
the law, then Christ was put to death for nothing.
2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the
law, then Christ is dead in vain.
3:1 어리석도다 갈라디아 사람들아 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에 못 박히신 것이
너희 눈 앞에 밝히 보이거늘 누가 너희를 꾀더냐
3:1 O foolish Galatians, by what strange powers have you been tricked, to whom it was
made clear that Jesus Christ was put to death on the cross?
3:1 O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that all of you should not
obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth,
crucified among you?
3:2 내가 너희에게 다만 이것을 알려 하노니 너희가 성령을 받은 것은 율법의
행위로냐 듣고 믿음으로냐
3:2 Give me an answer to this one question, Did the Spirit come to you through the works
of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received all of you the Spirit (o. pneuma)
by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3:3 너희가 이같이 어리석으냐 성령으로 시작하였다가 이제는 육체로 마치겠느냐
3:3 Are you so foolish? having made a start in the Spirit, will you now be made complete
in the flesh?
3:3 Are all of you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, (o. pneuma) are
all of you now made perfect by the flesh?
3:4 너희가 이같이 많은 괴로움을 헛되이 받았느냐 과연 헛되냐
3:4 Did you undergo such a number of things to no purpose? if it is in fact to no purpose.
3:4 Have all of you suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
3:5 너희에게 성령을 주시고 너희 가운데서 능력을 행하시는 이의 일이 율법의
행위에서냐 듣고 믿음에서냐
3:5 He who gives you the Spirit, and does works of power among you, is it by the works
of law, or by the hearing of faith?
3:5 He therefore that ministers to you the Spirit, (o. pneuma) and works
miracles among you, does he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of
faith?
3:6 아브라함이 하나님을 믿으매 이것을 그에게 의로 정하셨다 함과 같으니라
3:6 Even as Abraham had faith in God, and it was put to his account as righteousness.
3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
3:7 그런즉 믿음으로 말미암은 자들은 아브라함의 아들인 줄 알지어다
3:7 Be certain, then, that those who are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham.
3:7 Know all of you therefore that they which are of faith, the same are
the children of Abraham.
3:8 또 하나님이 이방을 믿음으로 말미암아 의로 정하실 것을 성경이 미리 알고
먼저 아브라함에게 복음을 전하되 모든 이방이 너를 인하여 복을 받으리라 하였으니
3:8 And the holy Writings, seeing before the event that God would give the Gentiles
righteousness by faith, gave the good news before to Abraham, saying, In you will
all the nations have a blessing.
3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through
faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations
be blessed.
3:9 그러므로 믿음으로 말미암은 자는 믿음이 있는 아브라함과 함께 복을 받느니라
3:9 So then those who are of faith have a part in the blessing of Abraham who was full
of faith.
3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
3:10 무릇 율법 행위에 속한 자들은 저주 아래 있나니 기록된 바 누구든지 율법
책에 기록된 대로 온갖 일을 항상 행하지 아니하는 자는 저주 아래 있는 자라 하였음이라
3:10 For all who are of the works of the law are under a curse: because it is said in
the Writings, A curse is on everyone who does not keep on doing all the things which
are ordered in the book of the law.
3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for
it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are
written in the book of the law to do them.
3:11 또 하나님 앞에서 아무나 율법으로 말미암아 의롭게 되지 못할 것이 분명하니
이는 의인이 믿음으로 살리라 하였음이니라
3:11 Now that no man gets righteousness by the law in the eyes of God, is clear; because,
The upright will be living by faith.
3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:
for, The just shall live by faith.
3:12 율법은 믿음에서 난 것이 아니라 이를 행하는 자는 그 가운데서 살리라 하였느니라
3:12 And the law is not of faith; but, He who does them will have life by them.
3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that does them shall live
in them.
3:13 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 저주를 받은 바 되사 율법의 저주에서 우리를
속량하셨으니 기록된 바 나무에 달린 자마다 저주 아래 있는 자라 하였음이라
3:13 Christ has made us free from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us:
because it is said in the Writings, A curse on everyone who is put to death by hanging
on a tree:
3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:
3:14 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 아브라함의 복이 이방인에게 미치게 하고 또
우리로 하여금 믿음으로 말미암아 성령의 약속을 받게 하려 함이니라
3:14 So that on the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; in order
that we through faith might have the Spirit which God had undertaken to give.
3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus
Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit (o. pneuma) through
faith.
3:15 ○ 형제들아 사람의 예대로 말하노니 사람의 언약이라도 정한 후에는 아무나
폐하거나 더하거나 하지 못하느니라
3:15 Brothers, as men would say, even a man's agreement, when it has been made certain,
may not be put on one side, or have additions made to it.
3:15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's
covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man nullifies, or adds thereto.
3:16 이 약속들은 아브라함과 그 자손에게 말씀하신 것인데 여럿을 가리켜 그
자손들이라 하지 아니하시고 오직 하나를 가리켜 네 자손이라 하셨으니 곧 그리스도라
3:16 Now to Abraham were the undertakings given, and to his seed. He says not, And to
seeds, as of a great number; but as of one, he says, And to your seed, which is
Christ.
3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He says not, And
to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, which is Christ.
3:17 내가 이것을 말하노니 하나님의 미리 정하신 언약을 사백 삼십 년 후에 생긴
율법이 없이 하지 못하여 그 약속을 헛되게 하지 못하리라
3:17 Now this I say: The law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, does not
put an end to the agreement made before by God, so as to make the undertaking without
effect.
3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God
in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot nullify,
that it should make the promise of no effect.
3:18 만일 그 유업이 율법에서 난 것이면 약속에서 난 것이 아니리라 그러나 하나님이
약속으로 말미암아 아브라함에게 은혜로 주신 것이라
3:18 Because if the heritage is by the law, it is no longer dependent on the word of
God; but God gave it to Abraham by his word.
3:18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but
God gave it to Abraham by promise.
3:19 그런즉 율법은 무엇이냐 범법함을 인하여 더한 것이라 천사들로 말미암아
중보의 손을 빌어 베푸신 것인데 약속하신 자손이 오시기까지 있을 것이라
3:19 What then is the law? It was an addition made because of sin, till the coming of
the seed to whom the undertaking had been given; and it was ordered through angels
by the hand of a go-between.
3:19 Wherefore then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions,
till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained
by angels in the hand of a mediator.
3:20 중보는 한편만 위한 자가 아니나 오직 하나님은 하나이시니라
3:20 Now a go-between is not a go-between of one; but God is one.
3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
3:21 그러면 율법이 하나님의 약속들을 거스리느냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라 만일
능히 살게 하는 율법을 주셨더면 의가 반드시 율법으로 말미암았으리라
3:21 Is the law then against the words of God? in no way; because if there had been a
law which was able to give life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.
3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there
had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should
have been by the law.
3:22 그러나 성경이 모든 것을 죄 아래 가두었으니 이는 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로
말미암은 약속을 믿는 자들에게 주려 함이니라
3:22 However, the holy Writings have put all things under sin, so that that for which
God gave the undertaking, based on faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those
who have such faith.
3:22 But the scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith
of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
3:23 ○ 믿음이 오기 전에 우리가 율법 아래 매인 바 되고 계시될 믿음의 때까지
갇혔느니라
3:23 But before faith came, we were kept in prison under the law, waiting for the revelation
of the faith which was to come.
3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the
faith which should afterwards be revealed.
3:24 이같이 율법이 우리를 그리스도에게로 인도하는 몽학선생이 되어 우리로
하여금 믿음으로 말미암아 의롭다 함을 얻게 하려 함이니라
3:24 So the law has been a servant to take us to Christ, so that we might have righteousness
by faith.
3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that
we might be justified by faith.
3:25 믿음이 온 후로는 우리가 몽학선생 아래 있지 아니하도다
3:25 But now that faith is come, we are no longer under a servant.
3:25 But after that faith has come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
3:26 너희가 다 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 아들이 되었으니
3:26 Because you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
3:26 For all of you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
3:27 누구든지 그리스도와 합하여 세례를 받은 자는 그리스도로 옷 입었느니라
3:27 For all those of you who were given baptism into Christ did put on Christ.
3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
3:28 너희는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자주자나 남자나 여자 없이 다 그리스도
예수 안에서 하나이니라
3:28 There is no Jew or Greek, servant or free, male or female: because you are all one
in Jesus Christ.
3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there
is neither male nor female: for all of you are all one in Christ Jesus.
3:29 너희가 그리스도께 속한 자면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을
자니라
3:29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and yours is the heritage
by the right of God's undertaking given to Abraham.
3:29 And if all of you be Christ's, then are all of you Abraham's seed, and
heirs according to the promise.
4:1 내가 또 말하노니 유업을 이을 자가 모든 것의 주인이나 어렸을 동안에는
종과 다름이 없어서
4:1 But I say that as long as the son is a child, he is in no way different from a servant,
though he is lord of all;
4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from
a servant, though he be lord of all;
4:2 그 아버지의 정한 때까지 후견인과 청직이 아래 있나니
4:2 But is under keepers and managers till the time fixed by the father.
4:2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
4:3 이와 같이 우리도 어렸을 때에 이 세상 초등 학문 아래 있어서 종 노릇 하였더니
4:3 So we, when we were young, were kept under the first rules of the world;
4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements
of the world:
4:4 때가 차매 하나님이 그 아들을 보내사 여자에게서 나게 하시고 율법 아래
나게 하신 것은
4:4 But when the time had come, God sent out his Son, made of a woman, made under the
law,
4:4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made
of a woman, made under the law,
4:5 율법 아래 있는 자들을 속량하시고 우리로 아들의 명분을 얻게 하려 하심이라
4:5 That he might make them free who were under the law, and that we might be given
the place of sons.
4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption
of sons.
4:6 너희가 아들인 고로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아바
아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라
4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent out the Spirit of his Son into our hearts,
saying, Abba, Father.
4:6 And because all of you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit (o. pneuma)
of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
4:7 그러므로 네가 이 후로는 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 하나님으로 말미암아
유업을 이을 자니라
4:7 So that you are no longer a servant, but a son; and if a son, then the heritage
of God is yours.
4:7 Wherefore you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an
heir of God through Christ.
4:8 ○ 그러나 너희가 그 때에는 하나님을 알지 못하여 본질상 하나님이 아닌
자들에게 종 노릇 하였더니
4:8 But at that time, having no knowledge of God, you were servants to those who by
right are no gods:
4:8 Nevertheless then, when all of you knew not God, all of you did service
unto them which by nature are no gods.
4:9 이제는 너희가 하나님을 알 뿐더러 하나님의 아신 바 되었거늘 어찌하여 다시
약하고 천한 초등 학문으로 돌아가서 다시 저희에게 종 노릇 하려 하느냐
4:9 But now that you have come to have knowledge of God, or more truly, God has knowledge
of you, how is it that you go back again to the poor and feeble first things, desiring
to be servants to them again?
4:9 But now, after that all of you have known God, or rather are known of
God, how turn all of you again to the weak and beggarly elements, unto which
all of you desire again to be in bondage?
4:10 너희가 날과 달과 절기와 해를 삼가 지키니
4:10 You keep days, and months, and fixed times, and years.
4:10 All of you observe days, and months, and times, and years.
4:11 내가 너희를 위하여 수고한 것이 헛될까 두려워하노라
4:11 I am in fear of you, that I may have been working for you to no purpose.
4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
4:12 ○ 형제들아 내가 너희와 같이 되었은즉 너희도 나와 같이 되기를 구하노라
너희가 내게 해롭게 하지 아니하였느니라
4:12 My desire for you, brothers, is that you may be as I am, because I am as you are.
You have done me no wrong;
4:12 Brethren, I plead to you, be as I am; for I am as all of you are: all
of you have not injured me at all.
4:13 내가 처음에 육체의 약함을 인하여 너희에게 복음을 전한 것을 너희가 아는 바라
4:13 But you have knowledge that with a feeble body I was preaching the good news to
you the first time;
4:13 All of you know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel
unto you at the first.
4:14 너희를 시험하는 것이 내 육체에 있으되 이것을 너희가 업신여기지도 아니하며
버리지도 아니하고 오직 나를 하나님의 천사와 같이 또는 그리스도 예수와 같이 영접하였도다
4:14 And you did not have a poor opinion of me because of the trouble in my flesh, or
put shame on it; but you took me to your hearts as an angel of God, even as Christ
Jesus.
4:14 And my temptation which was in my flesh all of you despised not, nor
rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
4:15 너희의 복이 지금 어디 있느냐 내가 너희에게 증거하노니 너희가 할 수만
있었더면 너희의 눈이라도 빼어 나를 주었으리라
4:15 Where then is that happy condition of yours? because I give you witness, that, if
possible, you would have taken out your eyes and given them to me.
4:15 Where is then the blessedness all of you spoke of? for I bear you record,
that, if it had been possible, all of you would have plucked out your own eyes,
and have given them to me.
4:16 그런즉 내가 너희에게 참된 말을 하므로 원수가 되었느냐
4:16 So then am I no longer your friend, because I give you true words?
4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
4:17 저희가 너희를 대하여 열심 내는 것이 좋은 뜻이 아니요 오직 너희를 이간
붙여 너희로 저희를 대하여 열심 내게 하려 함이라
4:17 Their interest in you is not good; but their desire is that you may be shut out,
so that you may go after them.
4:17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you,
that all of you might affect them.
4:18 좋은 일에 대하여 열심으로 사모함을 받음은 내가 너희를 대하였을 때뿐 아니라 언제든지 좋으니라
4:18 But it is good to have an interest in a good cause at all times, and not only when
I am present with you.
4:18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and
not only when I am present with you.
4:19 나의 자녀들아 너희 속에 그리스도의 형상이 이루기까지 다시 너를 위하여
해산하는 수고를 하노니
4:19 My children, of whom I am again in birth-pains till Christ is formed in you,
4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be
formed in you,
4:20 내가 이제라도 너희와 함께 있어 내 음성을 변하려 함은 너희를 대하여 의심이
있음이라
4:20 Truly my desire is to be present with you now, using a changed voice; for I am troubled
about you.
4:20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand
in doubt of you.
4:21 ○ 내게 말하라 율법 아래 있고자 하는 자들아 율법을 듣지 못하였느냐
4:21 Say, you whose desire it is to be under the law, do you not give ear to the law?
4:21 Tell me, all of you that desire to be under the law, do all of you not
hear the law?
4:22 기록된 바 아브라함의 두 아들이 있으니 하나는 계집종에게서, 하나는 자유하는
여자에게서 났다 하였으나
4:22 Because it is in the Writings, that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant-woman,
and one by the free woman.
4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid,
the other by a freewoman.
4:23 계집종에게서는 육체를 따라 났고 자유하는 여자에게서는 약속으로 말미암았느니라
4:23 Now the son by the servant-woman has his birth after the flesh; but the son by the
free woman has his birth through the undertaking of God.
4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of
the freewoman was by promise.
4:24 이것은 비유니 이 여자들은 두 언약이라 하나는 시내 산으로부터 종을 낳은
자니 곧 하가라
4:24 Which things have a secret sense; because these women are the two agreements; one
from the mountain of Sinai, giving birth to servants, which is Hagar.
4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one
from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Agar.
4:25 이 하가는 아라비아에 있는 시내 산으로 지금 있는 예루살렘과 같은 데니
저가 그 자녀들로 더불어 종 노릇 하고
4:25 Now this Hagar is the mountain Sinai in Arabia, and is the image of the Jerusalem
which now is: which is a servant with her children.
4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which
now is, and is in bondage with her children.
4:26 오직 위에 있는 예루살렘은 자유자니 곧 우리 어머니라
4:26 But the Jerusalem on high is free, which is our mother.
4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
4:27 기록된 바 잉태치 못한 자여 즐거워하라 구로치 못한 자여 소리 질러
외치라 이는 홀로 사는 자의 자녀가 남편 있는 자의 자녀보다 많음이라 하였으니
4:27 For it is in the Writings, You who have never given birth, be glad; give cries of
joy, you who have had no birth-pains; for the children of her who has been given
up by her husband are more than those of the woman who has a husband.
4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and
cry, you that travail not: for the desolate has many more children than she
which has an husband.
4:28 형제들아 너희는 이삭과 같이 약속의 자녀라
4:28 Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are the children of the undertaking of God.
4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
4:29 그러나 그 때에 육체를 따라 난 자가 성령을 따라 난 자를 핍박한 것 같이
이제도 그러하도다
4:29 But as in those days he who had birth after the flesh was cruel to him who had birth
after the Spirit, even so it is now.
4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was
born after the Spirit, (o. pneuma) even so it is now.
4:30 그러나 성경이 무엇을 말하느뇨 계집종과 그 아들을 내어 쫓으라 계집종의
아들이 자유하는 여자의 아들로 더불어 유업을 얻지 못하리라 하였느니라
4:30 What then do the Writings say? Send away the servant-woman and her son; for the
son of the servant-woman will not have a part in the heritage with the son of the
free woman.
4:30 Nevertheless what says the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her
son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
4:31 그런즉 형제들아 우리는 계집종의 자녀가 아니요 자유하는 여자의 자녀니라
4:31 So, brothers, we are not children of the servant-woman, but of the free woman.
4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the
free.
5:1 그리스도께서 우리로 자유케 하려고 자유를 주셨으니 그러므로 굳세게 서서
다시는 종의 멍에를 메지 말라
5:1 Christ has truly made us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put
a yoke on you again.
5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free,
and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
5:2 ○ 보라 나 바울은 너희에게 말하노니 너희가 만일 할례를 받으면 그리스도께서
너희에게 아무 유익이 없으리라
5:2 See, I Paul say to you, that if you undergo circumcision, Christ will be of no use
to you.
5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if all of you be circumcised, Christ
shall profit you nothing.
5:3 내가 할례를 받는 각 사람에게 다시 증거하노니 그는 율법 전체를 행할 의무를
가진 자라
5:3 Yes, I give witness again to every man who undergoes circumcision, that he will
have to keep all the law.
5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor
to do the whole law.
5:4 율법 안에서 의롭다 함을 얻으려 하는 너희는 그리스도에게서 끊어지고 은혜에서
떨어진 자로다
5:4 You are cut off from Christ, you who would have righteousness by the law; you are
turned away from grace.
5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified
by the law; all of you are fallen from grace.
5:5 우리가 성령으로 믿음을 좇아 의의 소망을 기다리노니
5:5 For we through the Spirit by faith are waiting for the hope of righteousness.
5:5 For we through the Spirit (o. pneuma) wait for the hope of righteousness
by faith.
5:6 그리스도 예수 안에서는 할례나 무할례가 효력이 없되 사랑으로써 역사하는
믿음뿐이니라
5:6 Because in Christ Jesus, having circumcision or not having circumcision are equally
of no profit; but only faith working through love.
5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision;
but faith which works by love. (o. agape)
5:7 너희가 달음질을 잘하더니 누가 너희를 막아 진리를 순종치 않게 하더냐
5:7 You were going on well; who was the cause of your not giving ear to what is true?
5:7 All of you did run well; who did hinder you that all of you should not
obey the truth?
5:8 그 권면이 너희를 부르신 이에게서 난 것이 아니라
5:8 This ready belief did not come from him who had made you his.
5:8 This persuasion comes not of him that calls you.
5:9 적은 누룩이 온 덩이에 퍼지느니라
5:9 A little leaven makes a change in all the mass.
5:9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
5:10 나는 너희가 아무 다른 마음도 품지 아니할 줄을 주 안에서 확신하노라 그러나
너희를 요동케 하는 자는 누구든지 심판을 받으리라
5:10 I am certain about you in the Lord, that you will be of no other mind; but he who
is troubling you will have his punishment, whoever he is.
5:10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that all of you will be none
otherwise minded: but he that troubles you shall bear his judgment, whosoever
he be.
5:11 형제들아 내가 지금까지 할례를 전하면 어찌하여 지금까지 핍박을 받으리요
그리하였으면 십자가의 거치는 것이 그쳤으리니
5:11 But I, brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still attacked?
then has the shame of the cross been taken away.
5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution?
then is the offence of the cross ceased.
5:12 너희를 어지럽게 하는 자들이 스스로 베어 버리기를 원하노라
5:12 My desire is that they who give you trouble might even be cut off themselves.
5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
5:13 ○ 형제들아 너희가 자유를 위하여 부르심을 입었으나 그러나 그 자유로
육체의 기회를 삼지 말고 오직 사랑으로 서로 종 노릇 하라
5:13 Because you, brothers, were marked out to be free; only do not make use of your
free condition to give the flesh its chance, but through love be servants one to
another.
5:13 For, brethren, all of you have been called unto liberty; only use not
liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love (o. agape) serve one another.
5:14 온 율법은 네 이웃 사랑하기를 네 몸 같이 하라 하신 한 말씀에 이루었나니
5:14 For all the law is made complete in one word, even in this, Have love for your neighbour
as for yourself.
5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, (o. logos) even in this; You
shall love your neighbour as yourself.
5:15 만일 서로 물고 먹으면 피차 멸망할까 조심하라
5:15 But if you are given to fighting with one another, take care that you are not the
cause of destruction one to another.
5:15 But if all of you bite and devour one another, take heed that all of
you be not consumed one of another.
5:16 ○ 내가 이르노니 너희는 성령을 좇아 행하라 그리하면 육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라
5:16 But I say, Go on in the Spirit, and you will not come under the rule of the evil
desires of the flesh.
5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, (o. pneuma) and all of you shall
not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
5:17 육체의 소욕은 성령을 거스리고 성령의 소욕은 육체를 거스리나니 이 둘이
서로 대적함으로 너희의 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라
5:17 For the flesh has desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh;
because these are opposite the one to the other; so that you may not do the things
which you have a mind to do.
5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, (o. pneuma) and the Spirit (o.
pneuma) against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that
all of you cannot do the things that all of you would.
5:18 너희가 만일 성령의 인도하시는 바가 되면 율법 아래 있지 아니하리라
5:18 But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
5:18 But if all of you be led of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) all of you are not
under the law.
5:19 육체의 일은 현저하니 곧 음행과 더러운 것과 호색과
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are clear, which are these: evil desire, unclean things,
wrong use of the senses,
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery,
fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
5:20 우상 숭배와 술수와 원수를 맺는 것과 분쟁과 시기와 분냄과 당 짓는 것과
분리함과 이단과
5:20 Worship of images, use of strange powers, hates, fighting, desire for what another
has, angry feelings, attempts to get the better of others, divisions, false teachings,
5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, worldy jealousies, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
5:21 투기와 술 취함과 방탕함과 또 그와 같은 것들이라 전에 너희에게 경계한 것 같이 경계하노니
이런 일을 하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 것이요
5:21 Envy, uncontrolled drinking and feasting, and such things: of which I give you word
clearly, even as I did in the past, that they who do such things will have no part
in the kingdom of God.
5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which
I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do
such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
5:22 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, a quiet mind, kind acts, well-doing,
faith,
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit (o. pneuma) is love, (o. agape) joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
5:23 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라
5:23 Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law.
5:23 Meekness, wilful restrain: against such there is no law.
5:24 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라
5:24 And those who are Christ's have put to death on the cross the flesh with its passions
and its evil desires.
5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections
and lusts.
5:25 ○ 만일 우리가 성령으로 살면 또한 성령으로 행할지니
5:25 If we are living by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us be guided.
5:25 If we live in the Spirit, (o. pneuma) let us also walk in the Spirit.

5:26 헛된 영광을 구하여 서로 격동하고 서로 투기하지 말지니라
5:26 Let us not be full of self-glory, making one another angry, having envy of one another.
5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying
one another.
6:1 형제들아 사람이 만일 무슨 범죄한 일이 드러나거든 신령한 너희는 온유한
심령으로 그러한 자를 바로잡고 네 자신을 돌아보아 너도 시험을 받을까 두려워하라
6:1 Brothers, if a man is taken in any wrongdoing, you who are of the Spirit will put
such a one right in a spirit of love; keeping watch on yourself, for fear that you
yourself may be tested.
6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, all of you which are spiritual,
restore such an one in the spirit (o. pneuma) of meekness; considering yourself,
lest you also be tempted.
6:2 너희가 짐을 서로 지라 그리하여 그리스도의 법을 성취하라
6:2 Take on yourselves one another's troubles, and so keep the law of Christ.
6:2 Bear all of you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
6:3 만일 누가 아무 것도 되지 못하고 된 줄로 생각하면 스스로 속임이니라
6:3 For if a man has an idea that he is something when he is nothing, he is tricked
by himself.
6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives
himself.
6:4 각각 자기의 일을 살피라 그리하면 자랑할 것이 자기에게만 있고 남에게는
있지 아니하리니
6:4 But let every man make test of his work, and then will his cause for glory be in
himself only, and not in his neighbour.
6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing
in himself alone, and not in another.
6:5 각각 자기의 짐을 질 것임이니라
6:5 Because every man is responsible for his part of the work.
6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6:6 ○ 가르침을 받는 자는 말씀을 가르치는 자와 모든 좋은 것을 함께 하라
6:6 But let him who gets teaching in the word give a part in all good things to his
teacher.
6:6 Let him that is taught in the word (o. logos) communicate unto him that
teaches in all good things.
6:7 스스로 속이지 말라 하나님은 만홀히 여김을 받지 아니하시나니 사람이 무엇으로
심든지 그대로 거두리라
6:7 Be not tricked; God is not made sport of: for whatever seed a man puts in, that
will he get back as grain.
6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall
he also reap.
6:8 자기의 육체를 위하여 심는 자는 육체로부터 썩어진 것을 거두고 성령을 위하여
심는 자는 성령으로부터 영생을 거두리라
6:8 Because he who puts in the seed of the flesh will of the flesh get the reward of
death; but he who puts in the seed of the Spirit will of the Spirit get the reward
of eternal life.
6:8 For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but
he that sows to the Spirit (o. pneuma) shall of the Spirit (o. pneuma) reap
life everlasting.
6:9 우리가 선을 행하되 낙심하지 말지니 피곤하지 아니하면 때가 이르매 거두리라
6:9 And let us not get tired of well-doing; for at the right time we will get in the
grain, if we do not give way to weariness.
6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.
6:10 그러므로 우리는 기회 있는 대로 모든 이에게 착한 일을 하되 더욱 믿음의
가정들에게 할지니라
6:10 So then, as we have the chance, let us do good to all men, and specially to those
who are of the family of the faith.
6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially
unto them who are of the household of faith.
6:11 ○ 내 손으로 너희에게 이렇게 큰 글자로 쓴 것을 보라
6:11 See the size of the handwriting which I myself have made use of in writing to you.
6:11 All of you see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine
own hand.
6:12 무릇 육체의 모양을 내려 하는 자들이 억지로 너희로 할례 받게 함은 저희가
그리스도의 십자가를 인하여 핍박을 면하려 함뿐이라
6:12 Those who have the desire to seem important in the flesh, put force on you to undergo
circumcision; only that they may not be attacked because of the cross of Christ.
6:12 As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you
to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of
Christ.
6:13 할례 받은 저희라도 스스로 율법은 지키지 아니하고 너희로 할례 받게 하려
하는 것은 너희의 육체로 자랑하려 함이니라
6:13 Because even those who undergo circumcision do not themselves keep the law; but
they would have you undergo circumcision, so that they may have glory in your flesh.
6:13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire
to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
6:14 그러나 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니
그리스도로 말미암아 세상이 나를 대하여 십자가에 못 박히고 내가 또한 세상을 대하여
그러하니라
6:14 But far be it from me to have glory in anything, but only in the cross of our Lord
Jesus Christ, through which this world has come to an end on the cross for me, and
I for it.
6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus
Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
6:15 할례나 무할례가 아무 것도 아니로되 오직 새로 지으심을 받은 자뿐이니라
6:15 For having circumcision is nothing, and not having circumcision is nothing, but
only a new order of existence.
6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision,
but a new creature.
6:16 무릇 이 규례를 행하는 자에게와 하나님의 이스라엘에게 평강과 긍휼이 있을지어다
6:16 And on all who are guided by this rule be peace and mercy, and on the Israel of
God.
6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy,
and upon the Israel of God.
6:17 ○ 이 후로는 누구든지 나를 괴롭게 말라 내가 내 몸에 예수의 흔적을 가졌노라
6:17 From this time on let no man be a trouble to me; because my body is marked with
the marks of Jesus.
6:17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks
of the Lord Jesus.
6:18 ○ 형제들아 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 심령에 있을지어다 아멘
6:18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. So be it.
6:18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. (o.
pneuma) Amen.
