1:1 At the first God made the heaven and the earth.
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

1:2 ¶¥ÀÌ È¥µ·ÇÏ°í °øÇãÇϸç Èæ¾ÏÀÌ ±íÀ½ À§¿¡ ÀÖ°í Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ½ÅÀº ¼ö¸é¿¡ ¿îÇàÇϽô϶ó
1:2 And the earth was waste and without form; and it was dark on the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God was moving on the face of the waters.
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

1:4 And God, looking on the light, saw that it was good: and God made a division between the light and the dark,

1:5 Naming the light, Day, and the dark, Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

1:6 And God said, Let there be a solid arch stretching over the waters, parting the waters from the waters.
1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

1:7 And God made the arch for a division between the waters which were under the arch and those which were over it: and it was so.
1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

1:8 And God gave the arch the name of Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven come together in one place, and let the dry land be seen: and it was so.
1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

1:10 And God gave the dry land the name of Earth; and the waters together in their place were named Seas: and God saw that it was good.
1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

1:11 And God said, Let grass come up on the earth, and plants producing seed, and fruit-trees giving fruit, in which is their seed, after their sort: and it was so.
1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

1:12 And grass came up on the earth, and every plant producing seed of its sort, and every tree producing fruit, in which is its seed, of its sort: and God saw that it was good.
1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1:13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the arch of heaven, for a division between the day and the night, and let them be for signs, and for marking the changes of the year, and for days and for years:
1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

1:16 And God made the two great lights: the greater light to be the ruler of the day, and the smaller light to be the ruler of the night: and he made the stars.

1:17 And God put them in the arch of heaven, to give light on the earth;

1:18 To have rule over the day and the night, and for a division between the light and the dark: and God saw that it was good.
1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

1:19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

1:20 And God said, Let the waters be full of living things, and let birds be in flight over the earth under the arch of heaven.
1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

1:21 And God made great sea-beasts, and every sort of living and moving thing with which the waters were full, and every sort of winged bird: and God saw that it was good.
1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1:22 And God gave them his blessing, saying, Be fertile and have increase, making all the waters of the seas full, and let the birds be increased in the earth.
1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

1:23 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

1:24 And God said, Let the earth give birth to all sorts of living things, cattle and all things moving on the earth, and beasts of the earth after their sort: and it was so.
1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after its sort, and the cattle after their sort, and everything moving on the face of the earth after its sort: and God saw that it was good.

1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, like us: and let him have rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every living thing which goes flat on the earth.
1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

1:27 And God made man in his image, in the image of God he made him: male and female he made them.
1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1:28 And God gave them his blessing and said to them, Be fertile and have increase, and make the earth full and be masters of it; be rulers over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing moving on the earth.
1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

1:29 And God said, See, I have given you every plant producing seed, on the face of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit producing seed: they will be for your food:
1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.

1:30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the air and every living thing moving on the face of the earth I have given every green plant for food: and it was so.
1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for food: and it was so.

1:31 And God saw everything which he had made and it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

2:1 And the heaven and the earth and all things in them were complete.
2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2:2 Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÁöÀ¸½Ã´ø ÀÏÀÌ ÀÏ°ö° ³¯ÀÌ À̸¦ ¶§¿¡ ¸¶Ä¡´Ï ±× ÁöÀ¸½Ã´ø ÀÏÀÌ ´ÙÇϹǷΠÀÏ°ö° ³¯¿¡ ¾È½ÄÇϽô϶ó
2:2 And on the seventh day God came to the end of all his work; and on the seventh day he took his rest from all the work which he had done.
2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

2:3 And God gave his blessing to the seventh day and made it holy: because on that day he took his rest from all the work which he had made and done.
2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

2:4 These are the generations of the heaven and the earth when they were made.
2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

2:5 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¶¥¿¡ ºñ¸¦ ³»¸®Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¼Ì°í °æÀÛÇÒ »ç¶÷µµ ¾ø¾úÀ¸¹Ç·Î µé¿¡´Â ÃʸñÀÌ ¾ÆÁ÷ ¾ø¾ú°í ¹ç¿¡´Â ä¼Ò°¡ ³ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À¸¸ç
2:5 In the day when the Lord God made earth and heaven there were no plants of the field on the earth, and no grass had come up: for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to do work on the land.
2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

2:6 ¾È°³¸¸ ¶¥¿¡¼­ ¿Ã¶ó¿Í ¿Â Áö¸éÀ» Àû¼Ì´õ¶ó
2:6 But a mist went up from the earth, watering all the face of the land.
2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

2:7 And the Lord God made man from the dust of the earth, breathing into him the breath of life: and man became a living soul.
2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

2:8 And the Lord God made a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had made.
2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

2:9 And out of the earth the Lord made every tree to come, delighting the eye and good for food; and in the middle of the garden, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

2:10 °­ÀÌ ¿¡µ§¿¡¼­ ¹ß¿øÇÏ¿© µ¿»êÀ» Àû½Ã°í °Å±â¼­ºÎÅÍ °¥¶óÁ® ³× ±Ù¿øÀÌ µÇ¾úÀ¸´Ï
2:10 And a river went out of Eden giving water to the garden; and from there it was parted and became four streams.
2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

2:11 ù°ÀÇ À̸§Àº ºñ¼ÕÀ̶ó ±ÝÀÌ ÀÖ´Â ÇÏÀª¶ó ¿Â ¶¥¿¡ µÑ·ÈÀ¸¸ç
2:11 The name of the first is Pishon, which goes round about all the land of Havilah where there is gold.
2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasses the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

2:14 And the name of the third river is Tigris, which goes to the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

2:15 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to do work in it and take care of it.

2:16 And the Lord God gave the man orders, saying, You may freely take of the fruit of every tree of the garden:

2:17 But of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you may not take; for on the day when you take of it, death will certainly come to you.
2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die.

2:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be by himself: I will make one like himself as a help to him
2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an associated helper for him.

2:19 And from the earth the Lord God made every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and took them to the man to see what names he would give them: and whatever name he gave to any living thing, that was its name.
2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

2:20 And the man gave names to all cattle and to the birds of the air and to every beast of the field; but Adam had no one like himself as a help.
2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an associated helper for him.

2:21 And the Lord God sent a deep sleep on the man, and took one of the bones from his side while he was sleeping, joining up the flesh again in its place:
2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

2:22 And the bone which the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman, and took her to the man.
2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

2:23 And the man said, This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh: let her name be Woman because she was taken out of Man.
2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

2:24 For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.
2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

2:25 And the man and his wife were without clothing, and they had no sense of shame.
2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

3:1 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÁöÀ¸½Å µéÁü½Â Áß¿¡ ¹ìÀÌ °¡Àå °£±³ÇÏ´õ¶ó ¹ìÀÌ ¿©ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ¹°¾î °¡·ÎµÇ Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÂüÀ¸·Î ³ÊÈñ´õ·¯ µ¿»ê ¸ðµç ³ª¹«ÀÇ ½Ç°ú¸¦ ¸ÔÁö ¸»¶ó ÇϽôõ³Ä
3:1 Now the snake was wiser than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Has God truly said that you may not take of the fruit of any tree in the garden?
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, has God said, All of you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

3:2 And the woman said, We may take of the fruit of the trees in the garden:
3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3:3 But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, If you take of it or put your hands on it, death will come to you.
3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, All of you shall not eat of it, neither shall all of you touch it, lest all of you die.

3:4 ¹ìÀÌ ¿©ÀÚ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³ÊÈñ°¡ °áÄÚ Á×Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó
3:4 And the snake said, Death will not certainly come to you:
3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, All of you shall not surely die:

3:5 ³ÊÈñ°¡ ±×°ÍÀ» ¸Ô´Â ³¯¿¡´Â ³ÊÈñ ´«ÀÌ ¹à¾Æ Çϳª´Ô°ú °°ÀÌ µÇ¾î ¼±¾ÇÀ» ¾Ë ÁÙÀ» Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¾Æ½ÉÀ̴϶ó
3:5 For God sees that on the day when you take of its fruit, your eyes will be open, and you will be as gods, having knowledge of good and evil.
3:5 For God does know that in the day all of you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and all of you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

3:6 ¿©ÀÚ°¡ ±× ³ª¹«¸¦ º»Áï ¸ÔÀ½Á÷µµ ÇÏ°í º¸¾ÏÁ÷µµ ÇÏ°í ÁöÇý·Ó°Ô ÇÒ ¸¸Å­ Ž½º·´±âµµ ÇÑ ³ª¹«ÀÎÁö¶ó ¿©ÀÚ°¡ ±× ½Ç°ú¸¦ µû¸Ô°í ÀÚ±â¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ³²Æí¿¡°Ôµµ ÁָŠ±×µµ ¸ÔÀº Áö¶ó
3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and a delight to the eyes, and to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit, and gave it to her husband.
3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

3:7 ÀÌ¿¡ ±×µéÀÇ ´«ÀÌ ¹à¾Æ ÀÚ±âµéÀÇ ¸öÀÌ ¹þÀº ÁÙÀ» ¾Ë°í ¹«È­°ú³ª¹« ÀÙÀ» ¿«¾î Ä¡¸¶¸¦ ÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
3:7 And their eyes were open and they were conscious that they had no clothing and they made themselves coats of leaves stitched together.
3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

3:8 ±×µéÀÌ ³¯ÀÌ ¼­´ÃÇÒ ¶§¿¡ µ¿»ê¿¡ °Å´Ï½Ã´Â ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÇ À½¼ºÀ» µè°í ¾Æ´ã°ú ±× ¾Æ³»°¡ ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ³¸À» ÇÇÇÏ¿© µ¿»ê ³ª¹« »çÀÌ¿¡ ¼ûÀºÁö¶ó
3:8 And there came to them the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the evening wind: and the man and his wife went to a secret place among the trees of the garden, away from the eyes of the Lord God.
3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

3:9 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¾Æ´ãÀ» ºÎ¸£½Ã¸ç ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³×°¡ ¾îµð ÀÖ´À³Ä
3:9 And the voice of the Lord God came to the man, saying, Where are you?
3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where are you?

3:10 °¡·ÎµÇ ³»°¡ µ¿»ê¿¡¼­ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼Ò¸®¸¦ µè°í ³»°¡ ¹þ¾úÀ¸¹Ç·Î µÎ·Á¿öÇÏ¿© ¼û¾ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
3:10 And he said, Hearing your voice in the garden I was full of fear, because I was without clothing: and I kept myself from your eyes.
3:10 And he said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

3:11 And he said, Who gave you the knowledge that you were without clothing? Have you taken of the fruit of the tree which I said you were not to take?
3:11 And he said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded you that you should not eat?

3:12 ¾Æ´ãÀÌ °¡·ÎµÇ Çϳª´ÔÀÌ Áּż­ ³ª¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇÏ°Ô ÇϽŠ¿©ÀÚ ±×°¡ ±× ³ª¹« ½Ç°ú¸¦ ³»°Ô ÁֹǷΠ³»°¡ ¸Ô¾ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
3:12 And the man said, The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me the fruit of the tree and I took it.
3:12 And the man said, The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

3:13 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¿©ÀÚ¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³×°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ÀÌ·¸°Ô ÇÏ¿´´À³Ä ¿©ÀÚ°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ¹ìÀÌ ³ª¸¦ ²Ò¹Ç·Î ³»°¡ ¸Ô¾ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
3:13 And the Lord God said to the woman, What have you done? And the woman said, I was tricked by the deceit of the snake and I took it.
3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that you have done? And the woman said, The serpent misled me, and I did eat.

3:14 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¹ì¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³×°¡ ÀÌ·¸°Ô ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï ³×°¡ ¸ðµç À°Ãà°ú µéÀÇ ¸ðµç Áü½Âº¸´Ù ´õ¿í ÀúÁÖ¸¦ ¹Þ¾Æ ¹è·Î ´Ù´Ï°í Á¾½ÅÅä·Ï ÈëÀ» ¸ÔÀ»Áö´Ï¶ó
3:14 And the Lord God said to the snake, Because you have done this you are cursed more than all cattle and every beast of the field; you will go flat on the earth, and dust will be your food all the days of your life:
3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life:

3:15 ³»°¡ ³Ê·Î ¿©ÀÚ¿Í ¿ø¼ö°¡ µÇ°Ô ÇÏ°í ³ÊÀÇ Èļյµ ¿©ÀÚÀÇ Èļհú ¿ø¼ö°¡ µÇ°Ô Çϸ®´Ï ¿©ÀÚÀÇ ÈļÕÀº ³× ¸Ó¸®¸¦ »óÇÏ°Ô ÇÒ °ÍÀÌ¿ä ³Ê´Â ±×ÀÇ ¹ß²ÞÄ¡¸¦ »óÇÏ°Ô ÇÒ °ÍÀ̴϶ó ÇϽðí
3:15 And there will be war between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed: by him will your head be crushed and by you his foot will be wounded.
3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

3:16 ¶Ç ¿©ÀÚ¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³»°¡ ³×°Ô À×ÅÂÇÏ´Â °íÅëÀ» Å©°Ô ´õÇϸ®´Ï ³×°¡ ¼ö°íÇÏ°í ÀÚ½ÄÀ» ³ºÀ» °ÍÀÌ¸ç ³Ê´Â ³²ÆíÀ» »ç¸ðÇÏ°í ³²ÆíÀº ³Ê¸¦ ´Ù½º¸± °ÍÀ̴϶ó ÇϽðí
3:16 To the woman he said, Great will be your pain in childbirth; in sorrow will your children come to birth; still your desire will be for your husband, but he will be your master.
3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in sorrow you shall bring forth children; and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.

3:17 ¾Æ´ã¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³×°¡ ³× ¾Æ³»ÀÇ ¸»À» µè°í ³»°¡ ³Ê´õ·¯ ¸ÔÁö ¸»¶ó ÇÑ ³ª¹« ½Ç°ú¸¦ ¸Ô¾úÀºÁï ¶¥Àº ³Ê·Î ÀÎÇÏ¿© ÀúÁÖ¸¦ ¹Þ°í ³Ê´Â Á¾½ÅÅä·Ï ¼ö°íÇÏ¿©¾ß ±× ¼Ò»êÀ» ¸ÔÀ¸¸®¶ó
3:17 And to Adam he said, Because you gave ear to the voice of your wife and took of the fruit of the tree which I said you were not to take, the earth is cursed on your account; in pain you will get your food from it all your life.
3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because you have hearkened unto the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life;

3:18 ¶¥ÀÌ ³×°Ô °¡½Ã´ýºÒ°ú ¾û°ÏÄû¸¦ ³¾ °ÍÀ̶ó ³ÊÀÇ ¸ÔÀ» °ÍÀº ¹çÀÇ Ã¤¼ÒÀÎÁï
3:18 Thorns and waste plants will come up, and the plants of the field will be your food;
3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to you; and you shall eat the herb of the field;

3:19 ³×°¡ ¾ó±¼¿¡ ¶¡ÀÌ Èê·¯¾ß ½Ä¹°À» ¸Ô°í ÇÊ°æÀº ÈëÀ¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡¸®´Ï ±× ¼Ó¿¡¼­ ³×°¡ ÃëÇÔÀ» ÀÔ¾úÀ½À̶ó ³Ê´Â ÈëÀÌ´Ï ÈëÀ¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¥ °ÍÀ̴϶ó ÇϽô϶ó
3:19 With the hard work of your hands you will get your bread till you go back to the earth from which you were taken: for dust you are and to the dust you will go back.
3:19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.

3:20 ¾Æ´ãÀÌ ±× ¾Æ³»¸¦ ÇϿͶó À̸§ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï ±×´Â ¸ðµç »ê ÀÚÀÇ ¾î¹Ì°¡ µÊÀÌ´õ¶ó
3:20 And the man gave his wife the name of Eve because she was the mother of all who have life.
3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

3:21 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¾Æ´ã°ú ±× ¾Æ³»¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© °¡Á׿ÊÀ» Áö¾î ÀÔÈ÷½Ã´Ï¶ó
3:21 And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins for their clothing.
3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

3:22 ¡Û ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ °¡¶ó»ç´ë º¸¶ó ÀÌ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¼±¾ÇÀ» ¾Æ´Â ÀÏ¿¡ ¿ì¸® Áß Çϳª °°ÀÌ µÇ¾úÀ¸´Ï ±×°¡ ±× ¼ÕÀ» µé¾î »ý¸í³ª¹« ½Ç°úµµ µû¸Ô°í ¿µ»ýÇÒ±î Çϳë¶ó ÇϽðí
3:22 And the Lord God said, Now the man has become like one of us, having knowledge of good and evil; and now if he puts out his hand and takes of the fruit of the tree of life, he will go on living for ever.
3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

3:23 ¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¿¡µ§ µ¿»ê¿¡¼­ ±× »ç¶÷À» ³»¾î º¸³»¾î ±×ÀÇ ±Ùº»µÈ ÅäÁö¸¦ °¥°Ô ÇϽô϶ó
3:23 So the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to be a worker on the earth from which he was taken.
3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

3:24 So he sent the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden he put winged ones and a flaming sword turning every way to keep the way to the tree of life.
3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

4:1 And the man had connection with Eve his wife, and she became with child and gave birth to Cain, and said, I have got a man from the Lord.
4:1 And Adam had sexual contact with Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have got a man from the LORD.

4:2 Then again she became with child and gave birth to Abel, his brother. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a farmer.
4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

4:3 And after a time, Cain gave to the Lord an offering of the fruits of the earth.
4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

4:4 And Abel gave an offering of the young lambs of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord was pleased with Abel's offering;
4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

4:7 If you do well, will you not have honour? and if you do wrong, sin is waiting at the door, desiring to have you, but do not let it be your master.
4:7 If you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And unto you shall be his desire, and you shall rule over him.

4:11 And now you are cursed from the earth, whose mouth is open to take your brother's blood from your hand;

4:12 No longer will the earth give you her fruit as the reward of your work; you will be a wanderer in flight over the earth.
4:12 When you till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto you her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall you be in the earth.

4:14 You have sent me out this day from the face of the earth and from before your face; I will be a wanderer in flight over the earth, and whoever sees me will put me to death.
4:14 Behold, you have driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from your face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that finds me shall slay me.

4:15 And the Lord said, Truly, if Cain is put to death, seven lives will be taken for his. And the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one might put him to death.
4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

4:23 And Lamech said to his wives, Adah and Zillah, give ear to my voice; you wives of Lamech, give attention to my words, for I would put a man to death for a wound, and a young man for a blow;

5:29 And he gave him the name of Noah, saying, Truly, he will give us rest from our trouble and the hard work of our hands, because of the earth which was cursed by God.

6:1 And after a time, when men were increasing on the earth, and had daughters,

6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

6:4 There were men of great strength and size on the earth in those days; and after that, when the sons of God had connection with the daughters of men, they gave birth to children: these were the great men of old days, the men of great name.
6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

6:7 And the Lord said, I will take away man, whom I have made, from the face of the earth, even man and beast and that which goes on the earth and every bird of the air; for I have sorrow for having made them.
6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them.

6:9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was an upright man and without sin in his generation: he went in the ways of God.

6:13 And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come; the earth is full of their violent doings, and now I will put an end to them with the earth.

6:14 Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood with rooms in it, and make it safe from the water inside and out.

6:15 And this is the way you are to make it: it is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high.
6:15 And this is the fashion which you shall make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

6:16 You are to put a window in the ark, a cubit from the roof, and a door in the side of it, and you are to make it with a lower and second and third floors.

6:17 For truly, I will send a great flow of waters over the earth, for the destruction from under the heaven of all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything on the earth will come to an end.
6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

6:20 Two of every sort of bird and cattle and of every sort of living thing which goes on the earth will you take with you to keep them from destruction.
6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto you, to keep them alive.

7:1 And the Lord said to Noah, Take all your family and go into the ark, for you only in this generation have I seen to be upright.
7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come you and all your house into the ark; for you have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

7:5 And Noah did everything which the Lord said he was to do.

7:21 And destruction came on every living thing moving on the earth, birds and cattle and beasts and everything which went on the earth, and every man.
7:21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, and every man:

7:22 Everything on the dry land, in which was the breath of life, came to its end.

7:23 Every living thing on the face of all the earth, man and cattle and things moving on the face of the earth, and birds of the air, came to destruction: only Noah and those who were with him in the ark, were kept from death.
7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

7:24 And the waters were over the earth a hundred and fifty days.

8:1 And God kept Noah in mind, and all the living things and the cattle which were with him in the ark: and God sent a wind over the earth, and the waters went down.
8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided;

8:2 ±íÀ½ÀÇ »ù°ú ÇÏ´ÃÀÇ Ã¢ÀÌ ¸·È÷°í Çϴÿ¡¼­ ºñ°¡ ±×Ä¡¸Å
8:2 And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were shut, and the rain from heaven was stopped.
8:2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

8:3 And the waters went slowly back from the earth, and at the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters were lower.
8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were decreased.

8:4 Ä¥ ¿ù °ð ±× ´Þ ½Ê Ä¥ ÀÏ¿¡ ¹æÁÖ°¡ ¾Æ¶ó¶ù »ê¿¡ ¸Ó¹°·¶À¸¸ç
8:4 And on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

8:5 ¹°ÀÌ Á¡Á¡ °¨ÇÏ¿© ½Ã¿ù °ð ±× ´Þ ÀÏ ÀÏ¿¡ »êµéÀÇ ºÀ¿ì¸®°¡ º¸¿´´õ¶ó
8:5 And still the waters went on falling, till on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains were seen.
8:5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

8:6 Then, after forty days, through the open window of the ark which he had made,
8:6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

8:7 Noah sent out a raven, which went this way and that till the waters were gone from the earth.
8:7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth back and forth, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

8:8 And he sent out a dove, to see if the waters had gone from the face of the earth;
8:8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were decreased from off the face of the ground;

8:9 But the dove saw no resting-place for her foot, and came back to the ark, for the waters were still over all the earth; and he put out his hand, and took her into the ark.
8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

8:10 And after waiting another seven days, he sent the dove out again;

8:11 And the dove came back at evening, and in her mouth was an olive-leaf broken off: so Noah was certain that the waters had gone down on the earth.
8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were decreased from off the earth.

8:12 ¶Ç Ä¥ ÀÏÀ» ±â´Ù·Á ºñµÑ±â¸¦ ³»¾î ³õÀ¸¸Å ´Ù½Ã´Â ±×¿¡°Ô·Î µ¹¾Æ¿ÀÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
8:12 And after seven days more, he sent the dove out again, but she did not come back to him.
8:12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

8:13 And in the six hundred and first year, on the first day of the first month, the waters were dry on the earth: and Noah took the cover off the ark and saw that the face of the earth was dry.
8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

8:14 And on the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was dry.
8:14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

8:15 And God said to Noah,
8:15 And God spoke unto Noah, saying,

8:16 Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives.
8:16 Go out of the ark, you, and your wife, and your sons, and your sons' wives with you.

8:17 Take out with you every living thing which is with you, birds and cattle and everything which goes on the earth, so that they may have offspring and be fertile and be increased on the earth.
8:17 Bring forth with you every living thing that is with you, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

8:18 And Noah went out with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives;
8:18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:

8:19 And every beast and bird and every living thing of every sort which goes on the earth, went out of the ark.
8:19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creeps upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.

8:20 ¡Û ³ë¾Æ°¡ ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ´ÜÀ» ½×°í ¸ðµç Á¤°áÇÑ Áü½Â Áß¿¡¼­¿Í ¸ðµç Á¤°áÇÑ »õ Áß¿¡¼­ ÃëÇÏ¿© ¹øÁ¦·Î ´Ü¿¡ µå·È´õ´Ï
8:20 And Noah made an altar to the Lord, and from every clean beast and bird he made burned offerings on the altar.
8:20 And Noah built an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

8:21 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ±× Çâ±â¸¦ ÈìÇâÇÏ½Ã°í ±× Á߽ɿ¡ À̸£½ÃµÇ ³»°¡ ´Ù½Ã´Â »ç¶÷À¸·Î ÀÎÇÏ¿© ¶¥À» ÀúÁÖÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®´Ï ÀÌ´Â »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¸¶À½ÀÇ °èȹÇÏ´Â ¹Ù°¡ ¾î·Á¼­ºÎÅÍ ¾ÇÇÔÀÌ¶ó ³»°¡ Àü¿¡ ÇàÇÑ °Í °°ÀÌ ¸ðµç »ý¹°À» ¸êÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®´Ï
8:21 And when the sweet smell came up to the Lord, he said in his heart, I will not again put a curse on the earth because of man, for the thoughts of man's heart are evil from his earliest days; never again will I send destruction on all living things as I have done.
8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again strike any more every thing living, as I have done.

8:22 While the earth goes on, seed time and the getting in of the grain, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, will not come to an end.
8:22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

9:1 And God gave his blessing to Noah and his sons, and said, Be fertile, and have increase, and make the earth full.
9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

9:2 And the fear of you will be strong in every beast of the earth and every bird of the air; everything which goes on the land, and all the fishes of the sea, are given into your hands.
9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

9:3 Every living and moving thing will be food for you; I give them all to you as before I gave you all green things.
9:3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

9:4 ±×·¯³ª °í±â¸¦ ±× »ý¸íµÇ´Â ÇÇ Ã¤ ¸ÔÁö ¸» °ÍÀ̴϶ó
9:4 But flesh with the life-blood in it you may not take for food.
9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall all of you not eat.

9:5 ³»°¡ ¹Ýµå½Ã ³ÊÈñ ÇÇ °ð ³ÊÈñ »ý¸íÀÇ ÇǸ¦ ãÀ¸¸®´Ï Áü½ÂÀÌ¸é ±× Áü½Â¿¡°Ô¼­, »ç¶÷À̳ª »ç¶÷ÀÇ ÇüÁ¦¸é ±×¿¡°Ô¼­ ±×ÀÇ »ý¸íÀ» ãÀ¸¸®¶ó
9:5 And for your blood, which is your life, will I take payment; from every beast I will take it, and from every man will I take payment for the blood of his brother-man.
9:5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

9:6 Whoever takes a man's life, by man will his life be taken; because God made man in his image.
9:6 Whoso sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

9:7 And now, be fertile and have increase; have offspring on the earth and become great in number.
9:7 And you, be all of you fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

9:8 And God said to Noah and to his sons,

9:9 Truly, I will make my agreement with you and with your seed after you,
9:9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

9:10 And with every living thing with you, all birds and cattle and every beast of the earth which comes out of the ark with you.
9:10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.

9:11 ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ¿Í ¾ð¾àÀ» ¼¼¿ì¸®´Ï ´Ù½Ã´Â ¸ðµç »ý¹°À» È«¼ö·Î ¸êÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÒ °ÍÀÌ¶ó ¶¥À» ħ¸ôÇÒ È«¼ö°¡ ´Ù½Ã ÀÖÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó
9:11 And I will make my agreement with you; never again will all flesh be cut off by the waters; never again will the waters come over all the earth for its destruction.
9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

9:12 And God said, This is the sign of the agreement which I make between me and you and every living thing with you, for all future generations:
9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

9:13 I will put my bow in the cloud and it will be for a sign of the agreement between me and the earth.
9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

9:14 ³»°¡ ±¸¸§À¸·Î ¶¥À» µ¤À» ¶§¿¡ ¹«Áö°³°¡ ±¸¸§ ¼Ó¿¡ ³ªÅ¸³ª¸é
9:14 And whenever I make a cloud come over the earth, the bow will be seen in the cloud,
9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

9:15 ³»°¡ ³ª¿Í ³ÊÈñ¿Í ¹× Ç÷±â ÀÖ´Â ¸ðµç »ý¹° »çÀÌÀÇ ³» ¾ð¾àÀ» ±â¾ïÇϸ®´Ï ´Ù½Ã´Â ¹°ÀÌ ¸ðµç Ç÷±â ÀÖ´Â ÀÚ¸¦ ¸êÇÏ´Â È«¼ö°¡ µÇÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÒÁö¶ó
9:15 And I will keep in mind the agreement between me and you and every living thing; and never again will there be a great flow of waters causing destruction to all flesh.
9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

9:16 ¹«Áö°³°¡ ±¸¸§ »çÀÌ¿¡ ÀÖÀ¸¸®´Ï ³»°¡ º¸°í ³ª Çϳª´Ô°ú ¶¥ÀÇ ¹«¸© Ç÷±â ÀÖ´Â ¸ðµç »ý¹° »çÀÌ¿¡ µÈ ¿µ¿øÇÑ ¾ð¾àÀ» ±â¾ïÇϸ®¶ó
9:16 And the bow will be in the cloud, and looking on it, I will keep in mind the eternal agreement between God and every living thing on the earth.
9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

9:17 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the agreement which I have made between me and all flesh on the earth.
9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

9:18 And the sons of Noah who went out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and Ham is the father of Canaan.
9:18 And the sons of Noah, that went out of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

9:19 These three were the sons of Noah and from them all the earth was peopled.
9:19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

9:20 ¡Û ³ë¾Æ°¡ ³ó¾÷À» ½ÃÀÛÇÏ¿© Æ÷µµ³ª¹«¸¦ ½É¾ú´õ´Ï
9:20 In those days Noah became a farmer, and he made a vine-garden.
9:20 And Noah began to be an farmer, and he planted a vineyard:

9:21 And he took of the wine of it and was overcome by drink; and he was uncovered in his tent.

9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father unclothed, and gave news of it to his two brothers outside.
9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

9:23 ¼À°ú ¾ßºªÀÌ ¿ÊÀ» ÃëÇÏ¿© ÀÚ±âµéÀÇ ¾î±ú¿¡ ¸Þ°í µÞ°ÉÀ½ÃÄ µé¾î°¡¼­ ¾ÆºñÀÇ ÇÏü¿¡ µ¤¾úÀ¸¸ç ±×µéÀÌ ¾ó±¼À» µ¹ÀÌÅ°°í ±× ¾ÆºñÀÇ ÇÏü¸¦ º¸Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a robe, and putting it on their backs went in with their faces turned away, and put it over their father so that they might not see him unclothed.
9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.

9:24 ³ë¾Æ°¡ ¼úÀÌ ±ú¾î ±× ÀÛÀº ¾ÆµéÀÌ Àڱ⿡°Ô ÇàÇÑ ÀÏÀ» ¾Ë°í
9:24 And, awaking from his wine, Noah saw what his youngest son had done to him, and he said,
9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

9:25 ÀÌ¿¡ °¡·ÎµÇ °¡³ª¾ÈÀº ÀúÁÖ¸¦ ¹Þ¾Æ ±× ÇüÁ¦ÀÇ Á¾µéÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ µÇ±â¸¦ ¿øÇϳë¶ó
9:25 Cursed be Canaan; let him be a servant of servants to his brothers.
9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

9:26 ¶Ç °¡·ÎµÇ ¼ÀÀÇ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ Âù¼ÛÇϸ®·Î´Ù °¡³ª¾ÈÀº ¼ÀÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ µÇ°í
9:26 And he said, Praise to the Lord, the God of Shem; let Canaan be his servant.
9:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

9:27 Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¾ßºªÀ» â´ëÄÉ ÇÏ»ç ¼ÀÀÇ À帷¿¡ °ÅÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ½Ã°í °¡³ª¾ÈÀº ±×ÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ µÇ°Ô ÇϽñ⸦ ¿øÇϳë¶ó ÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
9:27 May God make Japheth great, and let his living-place be in the tents of Shem, and let Canaan be his servant.
9:27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

9:28 ¡Û È«¼ö ÈÄ¿¡ ³ë¾Æ°¡ »ï¹é ¿À½Ê ³âÀ» Áö³»¾ú°í
9:28 And Noah went on living three hundred and fifty years after the great flow of waters;
9:28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

9:29 all the years of his life were nine hundred and fifty: and he came to his end.

10:1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: these are the sons which they had after the great flow of waters
10:1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

10:4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, the Kittim and the Dodanim.

10:5 À̵é·ÎºÎÅÍ ¿©·¯ ³ª¶ó ¹é¼ºÀ¸·Î ³ª´µ¾î¼­ °¢±â ¹æ¾ð°ú Á¾Á·°ú ³ª¶ó´ë·Î ¹Ù´å°¡ÀÇ ¶¥¿¡ ¸Ó¹°·¶´õ¶ó
10:5 From these came the nations of the sea-lands, with their different families and languages.
10:5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

10:6 ¡Û ÇÔÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀº ±¸½º¿Í ¹Ì½º¶óÀÓ°ú º×°ú °¡³ª¾ÈÀÌ¿ä
10:6 And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Put and Canaan.
10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

10:7 And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

10:8 And Cush was the father of Nimrod, who was the first of the great men of the earth.
10:8 And Cush brings forth Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

10:9 He was a very great bowman, so that there is a saying, Like Nimrod, a very great bowman.
10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

10:10 ±×ÀÇ ³ª¶ó´Â ½Ã³¯¶¥ÀÇ ¹Ùº§°ú ¿¡·º°ú ¾Ç°«°ú °¥·¹¿¡¼­ ½ÃÀ۵ǾúÀ¸¸ç
10:10 And at the first, his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

10:11 ±×°¡ ±× ¶¥¿¡¼­ ¾Ñ¼ö¸£·Î ³ª¾Æ°¡ ´Ï´À¿þ¿Í ¸£È£º¸µô°ú °¥¶ó¾Æ
10:11 From that land he went out into Assyria, building Nineveh with its wide streets and Calah,
10:11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and built Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

10:12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah, which is a very great town.
10:12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

10:13 ¹Ì½º¶óÀÓÀº ·çµõ°ú ¾Æ³ª¹Ò°ú ¸£ÇϺö°ú ³³µÎÈû°ú
10:13 And Mizraim was the father of the Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim;
10:13 And Mizraim brings forth Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

10:14 And Pathrusim and Casluhim and Caphtorim, from whom came the Philistines.

10:15 And Canaan was the father of Zidon, who was his oldest son, and Heth,

10:17 And the Hivite and the Arkite and the Sinite,

10:18 And the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite; after that the families of the Canaanites went far and wide in all directions;
10:18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

10:19 °¡³ª¾ÈÀÇ Áö°æÀº ½Ãµ·¿¡¼­ºÎÅÍ ±×¶öÀ» Áö³ª °¡»ç±îÁö¿Í ¼Òµ¼°ú °í¸ð¶ó¿Í ¾Æµå¸¶¿Í ½ºº¸ÀÓÀ» Áö³ª ¶ó»ç±îÁö¿´´õ¶ó
10:19 Their country stretching from Zidon to Gaza, in the direction of Gerar; and to Lasha, in the direction of Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim.
10:19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you come to Gerar, unto Gaza; as you go, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

10:20 À̵éÀº ÇÔÀÇ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ¶ó °¢±â Á·¼Ó°ú ¹æ¾ð°ú Áö¹æ°ú ³ª¶ó´ë·ÎÀ̾ú´õ¶ó
10:20 All these, with their different families, languages, lands, and nations, are the offspring of Ham.
10:20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

10:21 And Shem, the older brother of Japheth, the father of the children of Eber, had other sons in addition.
10:21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

10:22 These are the sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram.
10:22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

10:23 ¾Æ¶÷ÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀº ¿ì½º¿Í ÈÇ°ú °Ôµ¨°ú ¸¶½º¸ç
10:23 And the sons of Aram: Uz and Hul and Gether and Mash.
10:23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

10:24 ¾Æ¸£¹Ú»ñÀº ¼¿¶ó¸¦ ³º°í ¼¿¶ó´Â ¿¡º§À» ³º¾ÒÀ¸¸ç
10:24 And Arpachshad became the father of Shelah; and Shelah became the father of Eber.
10:24 And Arphaxad brings forth Salah; and Salah brings forth Eber.

10:25 ¿¡º§Àº µÎ ¾ÆµéÀ» ³º°í ÇϳªÀÇ À̸§À» º§·ºÀ̶ó ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï ±× ¶§¿¡ ¼¼»óÀÌ ³ª´µ¾úÀ½ÀÌ¿ä º§·ºÀÇ ¾Æ¿ìÀÇ À̸§Àº ¿å´ÜÀ̸ç
10:25 And Eber had two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, because in his time the peoples of the earth became separate; and his brother's name was Joktan.
10:25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

10:29 And Ophir and Havilah and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

10:30 ±×µéÀÇ °ÅÇÏ´Â °÷Àº ¸Þ»ç¿¡¼­ºÎÅÍ ½º¹ß·Î °¡´Â ±æÀÇ µ¿Æí »êÀ̾ú´õ¶ó
10:30 And their country was from Mesha, in the direction of Sephar, the mountain of the east.
10:30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go unto Sephar a mount of the east.

10:31 These, with their families and their languages and their lands and their nations, are the offspring of Shem.

10:32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, in the order of their generations and their nations: from these came all the nations of the earth after the great flow of waters.
