17:1 He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
17:1 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 실족케 하는 것이 없을 수는 없으나 있게 하는 자에게는 화로다
17:2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
17:2 저가 이 작은 자 중에 하나를 실족케 할진대 차라리 연자 맷돌을 그 목에 매이우고 바다에 던지우는 것이 나으리라
17:3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
17:3 너희는 스스로 조심하라 만일 네 형제가 죄를 범하거든 경계하고 회개하거든 용서하라
17:4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."
17:4 만일 하루 일곱 번이라도 네게 죄를 얻고 일곱 번 네게 돌아와 내가 회개하노라 하거든 너는 용서하라 하시더라
17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."
17:5 ○ 사도들이 주께 여짜오되 우리에게 믿음을 더하소서 하니
17:6 The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
17:6 주께서 가라사대 너희에게 겨자씨 한 알만한 믿음이 있었더면 이 뽕나무더러 뿌리가 뽑혀 바다에 심기우라 하였을 것이요 그것이 너희에게 순종하였으리라
17:7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table,'
17:7 너희 중에 뉘게 밭을 갈거나 양을 치거나 하는 종이 있어 밭에서 돌아오면 저더러 곧 와 앉아서 먹으라 할 자가 있느냐
17:8 and will not rather tell him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink'?
17:8 도리어 저더러 내 먹을 것을 예비하고 띠를 띠고 나의 먹고 마시는 동안에 수종들고 너는 그 후에 먹고 마시라 하지 않겠느냐
17:9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
17:9 명한 대로 하였다고 종에게 사례하겠느냐
17:10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.'"
17:10 이와 같이 너희도 명령 받은 것을 다 행한 후에 이르기를 우리는 무익한 종이라 우리의 하여야 할 일을 한 것 뿐이라 할지니라
17:11 It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
17:11 ○ 예수께서 예루살렘으로 가실 때에 사마리아와 갈릴리 사이로 지나가시다가
17:12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
17:12 한 촌에 들어가시니 문둥병자 열 명이 예수를 만나 멀리 서서
17:13 They lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
17:13 소리를 높여 가로되 예수 선생님이여 우리를 긍휼히 여기소서 하거늘
17:14 When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.
17:14 보시고 가라사대 가서 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라 하셨더니 저희가 가다가 깨끗함을 받은지라
17:15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
17:15 그 중에 하나가 자기의 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 돌아와
17:16 He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
17:16 예수의 발 아래 엎드리어 사례하니 저는 사마리아인이라
17:17 Jesus answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
17:17 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그 아홉은 어디 있느냐
17:18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"
17:18 이 이방인 외에는 하나님께 영광을 돌리러 돌아온 자가 없느냐 하시고
17:19 Then he said to him, "Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."
17:19 그에게 이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시더라
17:20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation;
17:20 ○ 바리새인들이 하나님의 나라가 어느 때에 임하나이까 묻거늘 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 하나님의 나라는 볼 수 있게 임하는 것이 아니요
17:21 neither will they say, 'Look, here!' or, 'Look, there!' for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."
17:21 또 여기 있다 저기 있다고도 못하리니 하나님의 나라는 너희 안에 있느니라
17:22 He said to the disciples, "The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
17:22 ○ 또 제자들에게 이르시되 때가 이르리니 너희가 인자의 날 하루를 보고자 하되 보지 못하리라
17:23 They will tell you, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Don't go away, nor follow after them,
17:23 사람이 너희에게 말하되 보라 저기 있다 보라 여기 있다 하리라 그러나 너희는 가지도 말고 좇지도 말라
17:24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
17:24 번개가 하늘 아래 이편에서 번뜻하여 하늘 아래 저편까지 비췸 같이 인자도 자기 날에 그러하리라
17:25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
17:25 그러나 그가 먼저 많은 고난을 받으며 이 세대에게 버린 바 되어야 할지니라
17:26 As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
17:26 노아의 때에 된 것과 같이 인자의 때에도 그러하리라
17:27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
17:27 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가 들고 시집 가더니 홍수가 나서 저희를 다 멸하였으며
17:28 Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
17:28 또 롯의 때와 같으리니 사람들이 먹고 마시고 사고 팔고 심고 집을 짓더니
17:29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
17:29 롯이 소돔에서 나가던 날에 하늘로서 불과 유황이 비오듯 하여 저희를 멸하였느니라
17:30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
17:30 인자의 나타나는 날에도 이러하리라
17:31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
17:31 그 날에 만일 사람이 지붕 위에 있고 그 세간이 집 안에 있으면 그것을 가지러 내려오지 말 것이요 밭에 있는 자도 이와 같이 뒤로 돌이키지 말 것이니라
17:32 Remember Lot's wife!
17:32 롯의 처를 생각하라
17:33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
17:33 무릇 자기 목숨을 보존하고자 하는 자는 잃을 것이요 잃는 자는 살리리라
17:34 tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
17:34 내가 너희에게 이르노니 그 밤에 두 남자가 한 자리에 누워 있으매 하나는 데려감을 당하고 하나는 버려둠을 당할 것이요
17:35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken, and the other will be left."
17:35 두 여자가 함께 매를 갈고 있으매 하나는 데려감을 당하고 하나는 버려둠을 당할 것이니라
17:36 *

17:37 They, answering, asked him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together."
17:37 저희가 대답하여 가로되 주여 어디오니이까 가라사대 주검 있는 곳에는 독수리가 모이느니라 하시니라
18:1 He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up,
18:1 항상 기도하고 낙망치 말아야 될 것을 저희에게 비유로 하여
18:2 saying, "There was a judge in a certain city who didn't fear God, and didn't respect man.
18:2 가라사대 어떤 도시에 하나님을 두려워 아니하고 사람을 무시하는 한 재판관이 있는데
18:3 widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, 'Defend me from my adversary!'
18:3 그 도시에 한 과부가 있어 자주 그에게 가서 내 원수에 대한 나의 원한을 풀어 주소서 하되
18:4 He wouldn't for a while, but afterward he said to himself, 'Though I neither fear God, nor respect man,
18:4 그가 얼마 동안 듣지 아니하다가 후에 속으로 생각하되 내가 하나님을 두려워 아니하고 사람을 무시하나
18:5 yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.'"
18:5 이 과부가 나를 번거롭게 하니 내가 그 원한을 풀어 주리라 그렇지 않으면 늘 와서 나를 괴롭게 하리라 하였느니라
18:6 The Lord said, "Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.
18:6 주께서 또 가라사대 불의한 재판관의 말한 것을 들으라
18:7 Won't God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?
18:7 하물며 하나님께서 그 밤낮 부르짖는 택하신 자들의 원한을 풀어 주지 아니하시겠느냐 저희에게 오래 참으시겠느냐
18:8 tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
18:8 내가 너희에게 이르노니 속히 그 원한을 풀어 주시리라 그러나 인자가 올 때에 세상에서 믿음을 보겠느냐 하시니라
18:9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.
18:9 ○ 또 자기를 의롭다고 믿고 다른 사람을 멸시하는 자들에게 이 비유로 말씀하시되
18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
18:10 두 사람이 기도하러 성전에 올라가니 하나는 바리새인이요 하나는 세리라
18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
18:11 바리새인은 서서 따로 기도하여 가로되 하나님이여 나는 다른 사람들 곧 토색, 불의, 간음을 하는 자들과 같지 아니하고 이 세리와도 같지 아니함을 감사하나이다
18:12 fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.'
18:12 나는 이레에 두 번씩 금식하고 또 소득의 십일조를 드리나이다 하고
18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!'
18:13 세리는 멀리 서서 감히 눈을 들어 하늘을 우러러 보지도 못하고 다만 가슴을 치며 가로되 하나님이여 불쌍히 여기옵소서 나는 죄인이로소이다 하였느니라
18:14 tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."
18:14 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이 사람이 저보다 의롭다 하심을 받고 집에 내려갔느니라 무릇 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리라 하시니라
18:15 They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
18:15 ○ 사람들이 예수의 만져 주심을 바라고 자기 어린 아기를 데리고 오매 제자들이 보고 꾸짖거늘
18:16 Jesus summoned them, saying, "Allow the little children to come to me, and don't hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
18:16 예수께서 그 어린 아이들을 불러 가까이 하시고 이르시되 어린 아이들이 내게 오는 것을 용납하고 금하지 말라 하나님의 나라가 이런 자의 것이니라
18:17 Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a little child, he will in no way enter into it."
18:17 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 하나님의 나라를 어린 아이와 같이 받들지 않는 자는 결단코 들어가지 못하리라 하시니라
18:18 certain ruler asked him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"
18:18 ○ 어떤 관원이 물어 가로되 선한 선생님이여 내가 무엇을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까
18:19 Jesus asked him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one--God.
18:19 예수께서 이르시되 네가 어찌하여 나를 선하다 일컫느냐 하나님 한 분 외에는 선한 이가 없느니라
18:20 You know the commandments: 'Don't commit adultery,' 'Don't murder,' 'Don't steal,' 'Don't give false testimony,' 'Honor your father and your mother.'"*
18:20 네가 계명을 아나니 간음하지 말라, 살인하지 말라, 도적질하지 말라, 거짓증거하지 말라, 네 부모를 공경하라 하였느니라
18:21 He said, "I have observed all these things from my youth up."
18:21 여짜오되 이것은 내가 어려서부터 다 지키었나이다
18:22 When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have, and distribute it to the poor. You will have treasure in heaven. Come, follow me."
18:22 예수께서 이 말을 들으시고 이르시되 네가 오히려 한 가지 부족한 것이 있으니 네게 있는 것을 다 팔아 가난한 자들을 나눠 주라 그리하면 하늘에서 보화가 네게 있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 좇으라 하시니
18:23 But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.
18:23 그 사람이 큰 부자인 고로 이 말씀을 듣고 심히 근심하더라
18:24 Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into the Kingdom of God!
18:24 예수께서 저를 보시고 가라사대 재물이 있는 자는 하나님의 나라에 들어가기가 어떻게 어려운지
18:25 For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God."
18:25 약대가 바늘귀로 들어가는 것이 부자가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉬우니라 하신대
18:26 Those who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?"
18:26 듣는 자들이 가로되 그런즉 누가 구원을 얻을 수 있나이까
18:27 But he said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."
18:27 가라사대 무릇 사람의 할 수 없는 것을 하나님은 하실 수 있느니라
18:28 Peter said, "Look, we have left everything, and followed you."
18:28 베드로가 여짜오되 보옵소서 우리가 우리의 것을 다 버리고 주를 좇았나이다
18:29 He said to them, "Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake,
18:29 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 하나님의 나라를 위하여 집이나 아내나 형제나 부모나 자녀를 버린 자는
18:30 who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life."
18:30 금세에 있어 여러 배를 받고 내세에 영생을 받지 못할 자가 없느니라 하시니라
18:31 He took the twelve aside, and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.
18:31 ○ 예수께서 열 두 제자를 데리시고 이르시되 보라 우리가 예루살렘으로 올라가노니 선지자들로 기록된 모든 것이 인자에게 응하리라
18:32 For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.
18:32 인자가 이방인들에게 넘기워 희롱을 받고 능욕을 받고 침 뱉음을 받겠으며
18:33 They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again."
18:33 저희는 채찍질하고 죽일 것이니 저는 삼 일 만에 살아나리라 하시되
18:34 They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn't understand the things that were said.
18:34 제자들이 이것을 하나도 깨닫지 못하였으니 그 말씀이 감취었으므로 저희가 그 이르신 바를 알지 못하였더라
18:35 It happened, as he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.
18:35 ○ 여리고에 가까이 오실 때에 한 소경이 길 가에 앉아 구걸하다가
18:36 Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.
18:36 무리의 지남을 듣고 이 무슨 일이냐고 물은대
18:37 They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
18:37 저희가 나사렛 예수께서 지나신다 하니
18:38 He cried out, "Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!"
18:38 소경이 외쳐 가로되 다윗의 자손 예수여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하거늘
18:39 Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "You son of David, have mercy on me!"
18:39 앞서 가는 자들이 저를 꾸짖어 잠잠하라 하되 저가 더욱 심히 소리 질러 다윗의 자손이여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하는지라
18:40 Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,
18:40 예수께서 머물러 서서 명하여 데려오라 하셨더니 저가 가까이 오매 물어 가라사대
18:41 What do you want me to do?" He said, "Lord, that I may see again."
18:41 네게 무엇을 하여 주기를 원하느냐 가로되 주여 보기를 원하나이다
18:42 Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you."
18:42 예수께서 저에게 이르시되 보아라 네 믿음이 너를 구하였느니라 하시매
18:43 Immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
18:43 곧 보게 되어 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 예수를 좇으니 백성이 다 이를 보고 하나님을 찬양하니라
19:1 He entered and was passing through Jericho.
19:1 예수께서 여리고로 들어 지나가시더라
19:2 There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
19:2 삭개오라 이름하는 자가 있으니 세리장이요 또한 부자라
19:3 He was trying to see who Jesus was, and couldn't because of the crowd, because he was short.
19:3 저가 예수께서 어떠한 사람인가 하여 보고자 하되 키가 작고 사람이 많아 할 수 없어
19:4 He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way.
19:4 앞으로 달려가 보기 위하여 뽕나무에 올라가니 이는 예수께서 그리로 지나가시게 됨이러라
19:5 When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."
19:5 예수께서 그곳에 이르사 우러러 보시고 이르시되 삭개오야 속히 내려오라 내가 오늘 네 집에 유하여야 하겠다 하시니
19:6 He hurried, came down, and received him joyfully.
19:6 급히 내려와 즐거워하며 영접하거늘
19:7 When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, "He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner."
19:7 뭇 사람이 보고 수군거려 가로되 저가 죄인의 집에 유하러 들어갔도다 하더라
19:8 Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much."
19:8 삭개오가 서서 주께 여짜오되 주여 보시옵소서 내 소유의 절반을 가난한 자들에게 주겠사오며 만일 뉘 것을 토색한 일이 있으면 사 배나 갚겠나이다
19:9 Jesus said to him, "Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
19:9 예수께서 이르시되 오늘 구원이 이 집에 이르렀으니 이 사람도 아브라함의 자손임이로다
19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost."
19:10 인자의 온 것은 잃어버린 자를 찾아 구원하려 함이니라
19:11 As they heard these things, he went on and told a parable, because he was near Jerusalem, and they supposed that the Kingdom of God would be revealed immediately.
19:11 ○ 저희가 이 말씀을 듣고 있을 때에 비유를 더하여 말씀하시니 이는 자기가 예루살렘에 가까이 오셨고 저희는 하나님의 나라가 당장에 나타날 줄로 생각함이러라
19:12 He said therefore, "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
19:12 가라사대 어떤 귀인이 왕위를 받아가지고 오려고 먼 나라로 갈 때에
19:13 He called ten servants of his, and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, 'Conduct business until I come.'
19:13 그 종 열을 불러 은 열 므나를 주며 이르되 내가 돌아오기까지 장사하라 하니라
19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, 'We don't want this man to reign over us.'
19:14 그런데 그 백성이 저를 미워하여 사자를 뒤로 보내어 가로되 우리는 이 사람이 우리의 왕 됨을 원치 아니하노이다 하였더라
19:15 It happened when he had come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business.
19:15 귀인이 왕위를 받아가지고 돌아와서 은 준 종들의 각각 어떻게 장사한 것을 알고자 하여 저희를 부르니
19:16 The first came before him, saying, 'Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.'
19:16 그 첫째가 나아와 가로되 주여 주의 한 므나로 열 므나를 남겼나이다
19:17 He said to him, 'Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.'
19:17 주인이 이르되 잘하였다 착한 종이여 네가 지극히 작은 것에 충성하였으니 열 고을 권세를 차지하라 하고
19:18 The second came, saying, 'Your mina, Lord, has made five minas.'
19:18 그 둘째가 와서 가로되 주여 주의 한 므나로 다섯 므나를 만들었나이다
19:19 So he said to him, 'And you are to be over five cities.'
19:19 주인이 그에게도 이르되 너도 다섯 고을을 차지하라 하고
19:20 Another came, saying, 'Lord, behold, your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,
19:20 또 한 사람이 와서 가로되 주여 보소서 주의 한 므나가 여기 있나이다 내가 수건으로 싸 두었었나이다
19:21 for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you didn't lay down, and reap that which you didn't sow.'
19:21 이는 당신이 엄한 사람인 것을 내가 무서워함이라 당신은 두지 않은 것을 취하고 심지 않은 것을 거두나이다
19:22 He said to him, 'Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn't lay down, and reaping that which I didn't sow.
19:22 주인이 이르되 악한 종아 내가 네 말로 너를 판단하노니 너는 내가 두지 않은 것을 취하고 심지 않은 것을 거두는 엄한 사람인 줄을 알았느냐
19:23 Then why didn't you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?'
19:23 그러면 어찌하여 내 은을 은행에 두지 아니하였느냐 그리하였으면 내가 와서 그 변리까지 찾았으리라 하고
19:24 He said to those who stood by, 'Take the mina away from him, and give it to him who has the ten minas.'
19:24 곁에 섰는 자들에게 이르되 그 한 므나를 빼앗아 열 므나 있는 자에게 주라 하니
19:25 They said to him, 'Lord, he has ten minas!'
19:25 저희가 가로되 주여 저에게 이미 열 므나가 있나이다
19:26 'For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who doesn't have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.
19:26 주인이 가로되 내가 너희에게 말하노니 무릇 있는 자는 받겠고 없는 자는 그 있는 것도 빼앗기리라
19:27 But bring those enemies of mine who didn't want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.'"
19:27 그리고 나의 왕 됨을 원치 아니하던 저 원수들을 이리로 끌어다가 내 앞에서 죽이라 하였느니라
19:28 Having said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
19:28 ○ 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 예루살렘을 향하여 앞서서 가시더라
19:29 It happened, when he drew near to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mountain that is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
19:29 감람원이라는 산의 벳바게와 베다니에 가까이 왔을 때에 제자 중 둘을 보내시며
19:30 saying, "Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat. Untie it, and bring it.
19:30 이르시되 너희 맞은편 마을로 가라 그리로 들어가면 아직 아무 사람도 타 보지 않은 나귀 새끼의 매여 있는 것을 보리니 풀어 끌고 오너라
19:31 If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' say to him: 'The Lord needs it.'"
19:31 만일 누가 너희에게 어찌하여 푸느냐 묻거든 이렇게 말하되 주가 쓰시겠다 하라 하시매
19:32 Those who were sent went away, and found things just as he had told them.
19:32 보내심을 받은 자들이 가서 그 말씀하신 대로 만난지라
19:33 As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"
19:33 나귀 새끼를 풀 때에 그 임자들이 이르되 어찌하여 나귀 새끼를 푸느냐
19:34 They said, "The Lord needs it."
19:34 대답하되 주께서 쓰시겠다 하고
19:35 They brought it to Jesus. They threw their cloaks on the colt, and set Jesus on them.
19:35 그것을 예수께로 끌고 와서 자기들의 겉옷을 나귀 새끼 위에 걸쳐 놓고 예수를 태우니
19:36 As he went, they spread their cloaks in the way.
19:36 가실 때에 저희가 자기의 겉옷을 길에 펴더라
19:37 As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
19:37 이미 감람 산에서 내려가는 편까지 가까이 오시매 제자의 온 무리가 자기의 본 바 모든 능한 일을 인하여 기뻐하며 큰 소리로 하나님을 찬양하여
19:38 saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!* Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!"
19:38 가로되 찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 왕이여 하늘에는 평화요 가장 높은 곳에는 영광이로다 하니
19:39 Some of the Pharisees from the multitude said to him, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"
19:39 무리 중 어떤 바리새인들이 말하되 선생이여 당신의 제자들을 책망하소서 하거늘
19:40 He answered them, "I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out."
19:40 대답하여 가라사대 내가 너희에게 말하노니 만일 이 사람들이 잠잠하면 돌들이 소리 지르리라 하시니라
19:41 When he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it,
19:41 ○ 가까이 오사 성을 보시고 우시며
19:42 saying, "If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.
19:42 가라사대 너도 오늘날 평화에 관한 일을 알았더면 좋을 뻔하였거니와 지금 네 눈에 숨기웠도다
19:43 For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,
19:43 날이 이를지라 네 원수들이 토성을 쌓고 너를 둘러 사면으로 가두고
19:44 and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn't know the time of your visitation."
19:44 또 너와 및 그 가운데 있는 네 자식들을 땅에 메어치며 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남기지 아니하리니 이는 권고 받는 날을 네가 알지 못함을 인함이니라 하시니라
19:45 He entered into the temple, and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
19:45 ○ 성전에 들어가사 장사하는 자들을 내어 쫓으시며
19:46 saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,'* but you have made it a 'den of robbers'!"*
19:46 저희에게 이르시되 기록된 바 내 집은 기도하는 집이 되리라 하였거늘 너희는 강도의 굴혈을 만들었도다 하시니라
19:47 He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the scribes and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him.
19:47 ○ 예수께서 날마다 성전에서 가르치시니 대제사장들과 서기관들과 백성의 두목들이 그를 죽이려고 꾀하되
19:48 They couldn't find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said.
19:48 백성이 다 그에게 귀를 기울여 들으므로 어찌할 방침을 찾지 못하였더라
20:1 It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the *priests and scribes came to him with the elders.
20:1 하루는 예수께서 성전에서 백성을 가르치시며 복음을 전하실새 대제사장들과 서기관들이 장로들과 함께 가까이 와서
20:2 They asked him, "Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?"
20:2 말하여 가로되 당신이 무슨 권세로 이런 일을 하는지 이 권세를 준 이가 누구인지 우리에게 말하라
20:3 He answered them, "I also will ask you one question. Tell me:
20:3 대답하여 가라사대 나도 한 말을 너희에게 물으리니 내게 말하라
20:4 the baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?"
20:4 요한의 세례가 하늘로서냐 사람에게로서냐
20:5 They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will say, 'Why didn't you believe him?'
20:5 저희가 서로 의논하여 가로되 만일 하늘로서라 하면 어찌하여 저를 믿지 아니하였느냐 할 것이요
20:6 But if we say, 'From men,' all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet."
20:6 만일 사람에게로서라 하면 백성이 요한을 선지자로 인정하니 저희가 다 우리를 돌로 칠 것이라 하고
20:7 They answered that they didn't know where it was from.
20:7 대답하되 어디로서인지 알지 못하노라 하니
20:8 Jesus said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
20:8 예수께서 이르시되 나도 무슨 권세로 이런 일을 하는지 너희에게 이르지 아니하리라 하시니라
20:9 He began to tell the people this parable. "A *man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.
20:9 ○ 이 비유로 백성에게 말씀하시되 한 사람이 포도원을 만들어 농부들에게 세로 주고 타국에 가서 오래 있다가
20:10 At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.
20:10 때가 이르매 포도원 소출 얼마를 바치게 하려고 한 종을 농부들에게 보내니 농부들이 종을 심히 때리고 거저 보내었거늘
20:11 He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
20:11 다시 다른 종을 보내니 그도 심히 때리고 능욕하고 거저 보내었거늘
20:12 He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him, and threw him out.
20:12 다시 세 번째 종을 보내니 이도 상하게 하고 내어 쫓은지라
20:13 The lord of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.'
20:13 포도원 주인이 가로되 어찌할꼬 내 사랑하는 아들을 보내리니 저희가 혹 그는 공경하리라 하였더니
20:14 But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
20:14 농부들이 그를 보고 서로 의논하여 가로되 이는 상속자니 죽이고 그 유업을 우리의 것으로 만들자 하고
20:15 They threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?
20:15 포도원 밖에 내어 쫓아 죽였느니라 그런즉 포도원 주인이 이 사람들을 어떻게 하겠느뇨
20:16 He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be!"
20:16 와서 그 농부들을 진멸하고 포도원을 다른 사람들에게 주리라 하시니 사람들이 듣고 가로되 그렇게 되지 말아지이다 하거늘
20:17 But he looked at them, and said, "Then what is this that is written, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief cornerstone?'*
20:17 저희를 보시며 가라사대 그러면 기록된 바 건축자들의 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었느니라 함이 어찜이뇨
20:18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush whomever it falls on to dust."
20:18 무릇 이 돌 위에 떨어지는 자는 깨어지겠고 이 돌이 사람 위에 떨어지면 저를 가루로 만들어 흩으리라 하시니라
20:19 The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people--for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.
20:19 ○ 서기관들과 대제사장들이 예수의 이 비유는 자기들을 가리켜 말씀하심인 줄 알고 즉시 잡고자 하되 백성을 두려워하더라
20:20 They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.
20:20 이에 저희가 엿보다가 예수를 총독의 치리와 권세 아래 붙이려 하여 정탐들을 보내어 그들로 스스로 의인인 체하며 예수의 말을 책잡게 하니
20:21 They asked him, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.
20:21 그들이 물어 가로되 선생님이여 우리가 아노니 당신은 바로 말씀하시고 가르치시며 사람을 외모로 취치 아니하시고 오직 참으로써 하나님의 도를 가르치시나이다
20:22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
20:22 우리가 가이사에게 세를 바치는 것이 가하니이까 불가하니이까 하니
20:23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, "Why do you test me?
20:23 예수께서 그 간계를 아시고 가라사대
20:24 Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?" They answered, "Caesar's."
20:24 데나리온 하나를 내게 보이라 뉘 화상과 글이 여기 있느냐 대답하되 가이사의 것이니이다
20:25 He said to them, "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
20:25 가라사대 그런즉 가이사의 것은 가이사에게 하나님의 것은 하나님께 바치라 하시니
20:26 They weren't able to trap him in his words before the people. They marveled at his answer, and were silent.
20:26 저희가 백성 앞에서 그의 말을 능히 책잡지 못하고 그의 대답을 기이히 여겨 잠잠하니라
20:27 Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.
20:27 ○ 부활이 없다 주장하는 사두개인 중 어떤 이들이 와서
20:28 They asked him, "Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man's brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
20:28 물어 가로되 선생님이여 모세가 우리에게 써 주기를 사람의 형이 만일 아내를 두고 자식이 없이 죽거든 그 동생이 그 아내를 취하여 형을 위하여 후사를 세울지니라 하였나이다
20:29 There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.
20:29 그런데 칠 형제가 있었는데 맏이 아내를 취하였다가 자식이 없이 죽고
20:30 The second took her as wife, and he died childless.
20:30 그 둘째와 세째가 저를 취하고
20:31 The third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.
20:31 일곱이 다 그와 같이 자식이 없이 죽고
20:32 Afterward the woman also died.
20:32 그 후에 여자도 죽었나이다
20:33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife."
20:33 일곱이 다 저를 아내로 취하였으니 부활 때에 그 중에 뉘 아내가 되리이까
20:34 Jesus said to them, "The children of this age marry, and are given in marriage.
20:34 예수께서 이르시되 이 세상의 자녀들은 장가도 가고 시집도 가되
20:35 But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage.
20:35 저 세상과 및 죽은 자 가운데서 부활함을 얻기에 합당히 여김을 입은 자들은 장가 가고 시집 가는 일이 없으며
20:36 For they can't die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.
20:36 저희는 다시 죽을 수도 없나니 이는 천사와 동등이요 부활의 자녀로서 하나님의 자녀임이니라
20:37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord 'The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.'*
20:37 죽은 자의 살아난다는 것은 모세도 가시나무 떨기에 관한 글에 보였으되 주를 아브라함의 하나님이요 이삭의 하나님이요 야곱의 하나님이시라 칭하였나니
20:38 Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him."
20:38 하나님은 죽은 자의 하나님이 아니요 산 자의 하나님이시라 하나님에게는 모든 사람이 살았느니라 하시니
20:39 Some of the scribes answered, "Teacher, you speak well."
20:39 서기관 중 어떤 이들이 말하되 선생이여 말씀이 옳으니이다 하니
20:40 They didn't dare to ask him any more questions.
20:40 저희는 아무 것도 감히 더 물을 수 없음이더라
20:41 He said to them, "Why do they say that the Christ is David's son?
20:41 ○ 예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 사람들이 어찌하여 그리스도를 다윗의 자손이라 하느냐
20:42 David himself says in the book of Psalms, 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand,
20:42 시편에 다윗이 친히 말하였으되 주께서 내 주께 이르시되
20:43 until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet."'*
20:43 내가 네 원수를 네 발의 발등상으로 둘 때까지 내 우편에 앉았으라 하셨도다 하였느니라
20:44 David therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?"
20:44 그런즉 다윗이 그리스도를 주라 칭하였으니 어찌 그의 자손이 되겠느뇨 하시니라
20:45 In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,
20:45 ○ 모든 백성이 들을 때에 예수께서 그 제자들에게 이르시되
20:46 Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;
20:46 긴 옷을 입고 다니는 것을 원하며 시장에서 문안 받는 것과 회당의 상좌와 잔치의 상석을 좋아하는 서기관들을 삼가라
20:47 who devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation."
20:47 저희는 과부의 가산을 삼키며 외식으로 길게 기도하니 그 받는 판결이 더욱 중하리라 하시니라
21:1 He looked up, and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury.
21:1 예수께서 눈을 들어 부자들이 연보궤에 헌금 넣는 것을 보시고
21:2 He saw a certain poor widow casting in two small brass coins.
21:2 또 어떤 가난한 과부의 두 렙돈 넣는 것을 보시고
21:3 He said, "Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them,
21:3 가라사대 내가 참으로 너희에게 말하노니 이 가난한 과부가 모든 사람보다 많이 넣었도다
21:4 for all these put in gifts for God from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on."
21:4 저들은 그 풍족한 중에서 헌금을 넣었거니와 이 과부는 그 구차한 중에서 자기의 있는 바 생활비 전부를 넣었느니라 하시니라
21:5 As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,
21:5 ○ 어떤 사람들이 성전을 가리켜 그 미석과 헌물로 꾸민 것을 말하매 예수께서 가라사대
21:6 As for these things which you see, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down."
21:6 너희 보는 이것들이 날이 이르면 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남지 않고 다 무너뜨리우리라
21:7 They asked him, "Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?"
21:7 저희가 물어 가로되 선생님이여 그러면 어느 때에 이런 일이 있겠사오며 이런 일이 이루려 할 때에 무슨 징조가 있사오리이까
21:8 He said, "Watch out that you don't get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is at hand.' Therefore don't follow them.
21:8 가라사대 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 이르되 내가 그로라 하며 때가 가까왔다 하겠으나 저희를 좇지 말라
21:9 When you hear of wars and disturbances, don't be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won't come immediately."
21:9 난리와 소란의 소문을 들을 때에 두려워 말라 이 일이 먼저 있어야 하되 끝은 곧 되지 아니하니라
21:10 Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
21:10 ○ 또 이르시되 민족이 민족을 나라가 나라를 대적하여 일어나겠고
21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
21:11 처처에 큰 지진과 기근과 온역이 있겠고 또 무서운 일과 하늘로서 큰 징조들이 있으리라
21:12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name's sake.
21:12 이 모든 일 전에 내 이름을 인하여 너희에게 손을 대어 핍박하며 회당과 옥에 넘겨 주며 임금들과 관장들 앞에 끌어 가려니와
21:13 It will turn out as a testimony for you.
21:13 이 일이 도리어 너희에게 증거가 되리라
21:14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,
21:14 그러므로 너희는 변명할 것을 미리 연구치 않기로 결심하라
21:15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.
21:15 내가 너희의 모든 대적이 능히 대항하거나 변박할 수 없는 구재와 지혜를 너희에게 주리라
21:16 You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.
21:16 심지어 부모와 형제와 친척과 벗이 너희를 넘겨 주어 너희 중에 몇을 죽이게 하겠고
21:17 You will be hated by all men for my name's sake.
21:17 또 너희가 내 이름을 인하여 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 것이나
21:18 And not a hair of your head will perish.
21:18 너희 머리털 하나도 상치 아니하리라
21:19 By your endurance you will win your lives.
21:19 너희의 인내로 너희 영혼을 얻으리라
21:20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is at hand.
21:20 ○ 너희가 예루살렘이 군대들에게 에워싸이는 것을 보거든 그 멸망이 가까운 줄을 알라
21:21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the midst of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein.
21:21 그 때에 유대에 있는 자들은 산으로 도망할지며 성내에 있는 자들은 나갈지며 촌에 있는 자들은 그리로 들어가지 말지어다
21:22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
21:22 이 날들은 기록된 모든 것을 이루는 형벌의 날이니라
21:23 Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
21:23 그 날에는 아이 밴 자들과 젖먹이는 자들에게 화가 있으리니 이는 땅에 큰 환난과 이 백성에게 진노가 있겠음이로다
21:24 They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
21:24 저희가 칼날에 죽임을 당하며 모든 이방에 사로잡혀 가겠고 예루살렘은 이방인의 때가 차기까지 이방인들에게 밟히리라
21:25 There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves;
21:25 일월 성신에는 징조가 있겠고 땅에서는 민족들이 바다와 파도의 우는 소리를 인하여 혼란한 중에 곤고하리라
21:26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
21:26 사람들이 세상에 임할 일을 생각하고 무서워하므로 기절하리니 이는 하늘의 권능들이 흔들리겠음이라
21:27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
21:27 그 때에 사람들이 인자가 구름을 타고 능력과 큰 영광으로 오는 것을 보리라
21:28 But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near."
21:28 이런 일이 되기를 시작하거든 일어나 머리를 들라 너희 구속이 가까왔느니라 하시더라
21:29 He told them a parable. "See the fig tree, and all the trees.
21:29 ○ 이에 비유로 이르시되 무화과나무와 모든 나무를 보라
21:30 When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near.
21:30 싹이 나면 너희가 보고 여름이 가까운 줄을 자연히 아나니
21:31 Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.
21:31 이와 같이 너희가 이런 일이 나는 것을 보거든 하나님의 나라가 가까운 줄을 알라
21:32 Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.
21:32 내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 모든 일이 다 이루리라
21:33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
21:33 천지는 없어지겠으나 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라
21:34 So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
21:34 ○ 너희는 스스로 조심하라 그렇지 않으면 방탕함과 술취함과 생활의 염려로 마음이 둔하여지고 뜻밖에 그 날이 덫과 같이 너희에게 임하리라
21:35 For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.
21:35 이 날은 온 지구상에 거하는 모든 사람에게 임하리라
21:36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man."
21:36 이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라
21:37 Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.
21:37 ○ 예수께서 낮이면 성전에서 가르치시고 밤이면 나가 감람원이라 하는 산에서 쉬시니
21:38 All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
21:38 모든 백성이 그 말씀을 들으려고 이른 아침에 성전에 나아가더라
22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, drew near.
22:1 유월절이라 하는 무교절이 가까우매
22:2 The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death, for they feared the people.
22:2 대제사장들과 서기관들이 예수를 무슨 방책으로 죽일꼬 연구하니 이는 저희가 백성을 두려워함이더라
22:3 Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered with the twelve.
22:3 ○ 열 둘 중에 하나인 가룟인이라 부르는 유다에게 사단이 들어가니
22:4 He went away, and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.
22:4 이에 유다가 대제사장들과 군관들에게 가서 예수를 넘겨 줄 방책을 의논하매
22:5 They were glad, and agreed to give him money.
22:5 저희가 기뻐하여 돈을 주기로 언약하는지라
22:6 He consented, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude.
22:6 유다가 허락하고 예수를 무리가 없을 때에 넘겨 줄 기회를 찾더라
22:7 The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed.
22:7 ○ 유월절 양을 잡을 무교절이 이른지라
22:8 He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat."
22:8 예수께서 베드로와 요한을 보내시며 가라사대 가서 우리를 위하여 유월절을 예비하여 우리로 먹게 하라
22:9 They said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare?"
22:9 여짜오되 어디서 예비하기를 원하시나이까
22:10 He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.
22:10 이르시되 보라 너희가 성내로 들어가면 물 한 동이를 가지고 가는 사람을 만나리니 그의 들어가는 집으로 따라 들어가서
22:11 Tell the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"'
22:11 그 집 주인에게 이르되 선생님이 네게 하는 말씀이 내가 내 제자들과 함께 유월절을 먹을 객실이 어디 있느뇨 하시더라 하라
22:12 He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there."
22:12 그리하면 저가 자리를 베푼 큰 다락방을 보이리니 거기서 예비하라 하신대
22:13 They went, found things as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
22:13 저희가 나가 그 하시던 말씀대로 만나 유월절을 예비하니라
22:14 When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.
22:14 ○ 때가 이르매 예수께서 사도들과 함께 앉으사
22:15 He said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
22:15 이르시되 내가 고난을 받기 전에 너희와 함께 이 유월절 먹기를 원하고 원하였노라
22:16 for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God."
22:16 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이 유월절이 하나님의 나라에서 이루기까지 다시 먹지 아니하리라 하시고
22:17 He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, "Take this, and share it among yourselves,
22:17 이에 잔을 받으사 사례하시고 가라사대 이것을 갖다가 너희끼리 나누라
22:18 for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until the Kingdom of God comes."
22:18 내가 너희에게 이르노니 내가 이제부터 하나님의 나라가 임할 때까지 포도나무에서 난 것을 다시 마시지 아니하리라 하시고
22:19 He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me."
22:19 또 떡을 가져 사례하시고 떼어 저희에게 주시며 가라사대 이것은 너희를 위하여 주는 내 몸이라 너희가 이를 행하여 나를 기념하라 하시고
22:20 Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
22:20 저녁 먹은 후에 잔도 이와 같이 하여 가라사대 이 잔은 내 피로 세우는 새 언약이니 곧 너희를 위하여 붓는 것이라
22:21 But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.
22:21 그러나 보라 나를 파는 자의 손이 나와 함께 상 위에 있도다
22:22 The Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!"
22:22 인자는 이미 작정된 대로 가거니와 그를 파는 그 사람에게는 화가 있으리로다 하시니
22:23 They began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.
22:23 저희가 서로 묻되 우리 중에서 이 일을 행할 자가 누구일까 하더라
22:24 There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.
22:24 ○ 또 저희 사이에 그 중 누가 크냐 하는 다툼이 난지라
22:25 He said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.'
22:25 예수께서 이르시되 이방인의 임금들은 저희를 주관하며 그 집권자들은 은인이라 칭함을 받으나
22:26 But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.
22:26 너희는 그렇지 않을지니 너희 중에 큰 자는 젊은 자와 같고 두목은 섬기는 자와 같을지니라
22:27 For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn't it he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.
22:27 앉아서 먹는 자가 크냐 섬기는 자가 크냐 앉아 먹는 자가 아니냐 그러나 나는 섬기는 자로 너희 중에 있노라
22:28 But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.
22:28 너희는 나의 모든 시험 중에 항상 나와 함께 한 자들인즉
22:29 confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,
22:29 내 아버지께서 나라를 내게 맡기신 것 같이 나도 너희에게 맡겨
22:30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
22:30 너희로 내 나라에 있어 내 상에서 먹고 마시며 또는 보좌에 앉아 이스라엘 열 두 지파를 다스리게 하려 하노라
22:31 The Lord said, "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat,
22:31 시몬아, 시몬아 보라 사단이 밀 까부르듯 하려고 너희를 청구하였으나
22:32 but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn't fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers."
22:32 그러나 내가 너를 위하여 네 믿음이 떨어지지 않기를 기도하였노니 너는 돌이킨 후에 네 형제를 굳게 하라
22:33 He said to him, "Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!"
22:33 저가 말하되 주여 내가 주와 함께 옥에도, 죽는 데도 가기를 준비하였나이다
22:34 He said, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times."
22:34 가라사대 베드로야 내가 네게 말하노니 오늘 닭 울기 전에 네가 세 번 나를 모른다고 부인하리라 하시니라
22:35 He said to them, "When I sent you out without purse, and wallet, and shoes, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing."
22:35 ○ 저희에게 이르시되 내가 너희를 전대와 주머니와 신도 없이 보내었을 때에 부족한 것이 있더냐 가로되 없었나이다
22:36 Then he said to them, "But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
22:36 이르시되 이제는 전대 있는 자는 가질 것이요 주머니도 그리하고 검 없는 자는 겉옷을 팔아 살지어다
22:37 For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'He was counted with transgressors.'* For that which concerns me has an end."
22:37 내가 너희에게 말하노니 기록된 바 저는 불법자의 동류로 여김을 받았다 한 말이 내게 이루어져야 하리니 내게 관한 일이 이루어 감이니라
22:38 They said, "Lord, behold, here are two swords." He said to them, "That is enough."
22:38 저희가 여짜오되 주여 보소서 여기 검 둘이 있나이다 대답하시되 족하다 하시니라
22:39 He came out, and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.
22:39 ○ 예수께서 나가사 습관을 좇아 감람 산에 가시매 제자들도 좇았더니
22:40 When he was at the place, he said to them, "Pray that you don't enter into temptation."
22:40 그곳에 이르러 저희에게 이르시되 시험에 들지 않기를 기도하라 하시고
22:41 He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
22:41 저희를 떠나 돌 던질 만큼 가서 무릎을 꿇고 기도하여
22:42 saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
22:42 가라사대 아버지여 만일 아버지의 뜻이어든 이 잔을 내게서 옮기시옵소서 그러나 내 원대로 마옵시고 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다 하시니
22:43 An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
22:43 사자가 하늘로부터 예수께 나타나 힘을 돕더라
22:44 Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
22:44 예수께서 힘쓰고 애써 더욱 간절히 기도하시니 땀이 땅에 떨어지는 피방울 같이 되더라
22:45 When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of grief,
22:45 기도 후에 일어나 제자들에게 가서 슬픔을 인하여 잠든 것을 보시고
22:46 and said to them, "Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
22:46 이르시되 어찌하여 자느냐 시험에 들지 않게 일어나 기도하라 하시니라
22:47 While he was still speaking, behold, a multitude, and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.
22:47 ○ 말씀하실 때에 한 무리가 오는데 열 둘 중에 하나인 유다라 하는 자가 그들의 앞에 서서 와서
22:48 But Jesus said to him, "Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?"
22:48 예수께 입을 맞추려고 가까이 하는지라 예수께서 이르시되 유다야 네가 입맞춤으로 인자를 파느냐 하시니
22:49 When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, "Lord, shall we strike with the sword?"
22:49 좌우가 그 될 일을 보고 여짜오되 주여 우리가 검으로 치리이까 하고
22:50 certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
22:50 그 중에 한 사람이 대제사장의 종을 쳐 그 오른편 귀를 떨어뜨린지라
22:51 But Jesus answered, "Let me at least do this"--and he touched his ear, and healed him.
22:51 예수께서 일러 가라사대 이것까지 참으라 하시고 그 귀를 만져 낫게 하시더라
22:52 Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
22:52 예수께서 그 잡으러 온 대제사장들과 성전의 군관들과 장로들에게 이르시되 너희가 강도를 잡는 것 같이 검과 몽치를 가지고 나왔느냐
22:53 When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn't stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness."
22:53 내가 날마다 너희와 함께 성전에 있을 때에 내게 손을 대지 아니하였도다 그러나 이제는 너희 때요 어두움의 권세로다 하시더라
22:54 They seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed from a distance.
22:54 ○ 예수를 잡아 끌고 대제사장의 집으로 들어갈새 베드로가 멀찍이 따라가니라
22:55 When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.
22:55 사람들이 뜰 가운데 불을 피우고 함께 앉았는지라 베드로도 그 가운데 앉았더니
22:56 certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, "This man also was with him."
22:56 한 비자가 베드로의 불빛을 향하여 앉은 것을 보고 주목하여 가로되 이 사람도 그와 함께 있었느니라 하니
22:57 He denied Jesus, saying, "Woman, I don't know him."
22:57 베드로가 부인하여 가로되 이 여자여 내가 저를 알지 못하노라 하더라
22:58 After a little while someone else saw him, and said, "You also are one of them!" But Peter answered, "Man, I am not!"
22:58 조금 후에 다른 사람이 보고 가로되 너도 그 당이라 하거늘 베드로가 가로되 이 사람아 나는 아니로라 하더라
22:59 After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, "Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean!"
22:59 한 시쯤 있다가 또 한 사람이 장담하여 가로되 이는 갈릴리 사람이니 참으로 그와 함께 있었느니라
22:60 But Peter said, "Man, I don't know what you are talking about!" Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
22:60 베드로가 가로되 이 사람아 나는 너 하는 말을 알지 못하노라고 방금 말할 때에 닭이 곧 울더라
22:61 The Lord turned, and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord's word, how he said to him, "Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times."
22:61 주께서 돌이켜 베드로를 보시니 베드로가 주의 말씀 곧 오늘 닭 울기 전에 네가 세 번 나를 부인하리라 하심이 생각나서
22:62 He went out, and wept bitterly.
22:62 밖에 나가서 심히 통곡하니라
22:63 The men who held Jesus mocked him and beat him.
22:63 ○ 지키는 사람들이 예수를 희롱하고 때리며
22:64 Having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face and asked him, "Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?"
22:64 그의 눈을 가리우고 물어 가로되 선지자 노릇 하라 너를 친 자가 누구냐 하고
22:65 They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.
22:65 이 외에도 많은 말로 욕하더라
22:66 As soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people was gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,
22:66 ○ 날이 새매 백성의 장로들 곧 대제사장들과 서기관들이 모이어 예수를 그 공회로 끌어들여
22:67 If you are the Christ, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you won't believe,
22:67 가로되 네가 그리스도여든 우리에게 말하라 대답하시되 내가 말할지라도 너희가 믿지 아니할 것이요
22:68 and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go.
22:68 내가 물어도 너희가 대답지 아니할 것이니라
22:69 From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God."
22:69 그러나 이제 후로는 인자가 하나님의 권능의 우편에 앉아 있으리라 하시니
22:70 They all said, "Are you then the Son of God?" He said to them, "You say it, because I am."
22:70 다 가로되 그러면 네가 하나님의 아들이냐 대답하시되 너희 말과 같이 내가 그니라
22:71 They said, "Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!"
22:71 저희가 가로되 어찌 더 증거를 요구하리요 우리가 친히 그 입에서 들었노라 하더라
23:1 The whole company of them rose up and brought him before Pilate.
23:1 무리가 다 일어나 예수를 빌라도에게 끌고 가서
23:2 They began to accuse him, saying, "We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king."
23:2 고소하여 가로되 우리가 이 사람을 보매 우리 백성을 미혹하고 가이사에게 세 바치는 것을 금하며 자칭 왕 그리스도라 하더이다 하니
23:3 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered him, "So you say."
23:3 빌라도가 예수께 물어 가로되 네가 유대인의 왕이냐 대답하여 가라사대 네 말이 옳도다
23:4 Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, "I find no basis for a charge against this man."
23:4 빌라도가 대제사장들과 무리에게 이르되 내가 보니 이 사람에게 죄가 없도다 하니
23:5 But they insisted, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place."
23:5 무리가 더욱 굳세게 말하되 저가 온 유대에서 가르치고 갈릴리에서부터 시작하여 여기까지 와서 백성을 소동케 하나이다
23:6 But when Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if the man was a Galilean.
23:6 빌라도가 듣고 묻되 저가 갈릴리 사람이냐 하여
23:7 When he found out that he was in Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem during those days.
23:7 헤롯의 관할에 속한 줄을 알고 헤롯에게 보내니 때에 헤롯이 예루살렘에 있더라
23:8 Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him. He hoped to see some miracle done by him.
23:8 ○ 헤롯이 예수를 보고 심히 기뻐하니 이는 그의 소문을 들었으므로 보고자 한 지 오래였고 또한 무엇이나 이적 행하심을 볼까 바랐던 연고러라
23:9 He questioned him with many words, but he gave no answers.
23:9 여러 말로 물으나 아무 말도 대답지 아니하시니
23:10 The chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.
23:10 대제사장들과 서기관들이 서서 힘써 고소하더라
23:11 Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.
23:11 헤롯이 그 군병들과 함께 예수를 업신여기며 희롱하고 빛난 옷을 입혀 빌라도에게 도로 보내니
23:12 Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before that they were enemies with each other.
23:12 헤롯과 빌라도가 전에는 원수이었으나 당일에 서로 친구가 되니라
23:13 Pilate called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
23:13 ○ 빌라도가 대제사장들과 관원들과 백성을 불러 모으고
23:14 and said to them, "You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and see, I have examined him before you, and found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.
23:14 이르되 너희가 이 사람을 백성을 미혹하는 자라 하여 내게 끌어 왔도다 보라 내가 너희 앞에서 사실하였으되 너희의 고소하는 일에 대하여 이 사람에게서 죄를 찾지 못하였고
23:15 Neither has Herod, for I sent you to him, and see, nothing worthy of death has been done by him.
23:15 헤롯이 또한 그렇게 하여 저를 우리에게 도로 보내었도다 보라 저의 행한 것은 죽일 일이 없느니라
23:16 will therefore chastise him and release him."
23:16 그러므로 때려서 놓겠노라
23:17 Now he had to release one prisoner to them at the feast.
23:17 {없음}
23:18 But they all cried out together, saying, "Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!"--
23:18 무리가 일제히 소리 질러 가로되 이 사람을 없이하고 바라바를 우리에게 놓아 주소서 하니
23:19 one who was thrown into prison for a certain revolt in the city, and for murder.
23:19 이 바라바는 성중에서 일어난 민란과 살인을 인하여 옥에 갇힌 자러라
23:20 Then Pilate spoke to them again, wanting to release Jesus,
23:20 빌라도는 예수를 놓고자 하여 다시 저희에게 말하되
23:21 but they shouted, saying, "Crucify! Crucify him!"
23:21 저희는 소리 질러 가로되 저를 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 하는지라
23:22 He said to them the third time, "Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him."
23:22 빌라도가 세 번째 말하되 이 사람이 무슨 악한 일을 하였느냐 나는 그 죽일 죄를 찾지 못하였나니 때려서 놓으리라 한대
23:23 But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. Their voices and the voices of the chief priests prevailed.
23:23 저희가 큰 소리로 재촉하여 십자가에 못 박기를 구하니 저희의 소리가 이긴지라
23:24 Pilate decreed that what they asked for should be done.
23:24 이에 빌라도가 저희의 구하는 대로 하기를 언도하고
23:25 He released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus up to their will.
23:25 저희의 구하는 자 곧 민란과 살인을 인하여 옥에 갇힌 자를 놓고 예수를 넘겨 주어 저희 뜻대로 하게 하니라
23:26 When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it after Jesus.
23:26 ○ 저희가 예수를 끌고 갈 때에 시몬이라는 구레네 사람이 시골로서 오는 것을 잡아 그에게 십자가를 지워 예수를 좇게 하더라
23:27 great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.
23:27 또 백성과 및 그를 위하여 가슴을 치며 슬피 우는 여자의 큰 무리가 따라오는지라
23:28 But Jesus, turning to them, said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, don't weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
23:28 예수께서 돌이켜 그들을 향하여 가라사대 예루살렘의 딸들아 나를 위하여 울지 말고 너희와 너희 자녀를 위하여 울라
23:29 For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.'
23:29 보라 날이 이르면 사람이 말하기를 수태 못하는 이와 해산하지 못한 배와 먹이지 못한 젖이 복이 있다 하리라
23:30 Then they will begin to tell the mountains, 'Fall on us!' and tell the hills, 'Cover us.'*
23:30 그 때에 사람이 산들을 대하여 우리 위에 무너지라 하며 작은 산들을 대하여 우리를 덮으라 하리라
23:31 For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?"
23:31 푸른 나무에도 이같이 하거든 마른 나무에는 어떻게 되리요 하시니라
23:32 There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.
23:32 또 다른 두 행악자도 사형을 받게 되어 예수와 함께 끌려 가니라
23:33 When they came to the place that is called The Skull, they crucified him there with the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.
23:33 해골이라 하는 곳에 이르러 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박고 두 행악자도 그렇게 하니 하나는 우편에 하나는 좌편에 있더라
23:34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.
23:34 이에 예수께서 가라사대 아버지여 저희를 사하여 주옵소서 자기의 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라 저희가 그의 옷을 나눠 제비 뽑을새
23:35 The people stood watching. The rulers with them also scoffed at him, saying, "He saved others. Let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen one!"
23:35 백성은 서서 구경하며 관원들도 비웃어 가로되 저가 남을 구원하였으니 만일 하나님의 택하신 자 그리스도여든 자기도 구원할지어다 하고
23:36 The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,
23:36 군병들도 희롱하면서 나아와 신 포도주를 주며
23:37 and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"
23:37 가로되 네가 만일 유대인의 왕이어든 네가 너를 구원하라 하더라
23:38 An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."
23:38 그의 위에 이는 유대인의 왕이라 쓴 패가 있더라
23:39 One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!"
23:39 ○ 달린 행악자 중 하나는 비방하여 가로되 네가 그리스도가 아니냐 너와 우리를 구원하라 하되
23:40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Don't you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
23:40 하나는 그 사람을 꾸짖어 가로되 네가 동일한 정죄를 받고서도 하나님을 두려워 아니하느냐
23:41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong."
23:41 우리는 우리의 행한 일에 상당한 보응을 받는 것이니 이에 당연하거니와 이 사람의 행한 것은 옳지 않은 것이 없느니라 하고
23:42 He said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."
23:42 가로되 예수여 당신의 나라에 임하실 때에 나를 생각하소서 하니
23:43 Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
23:43 예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 네게 이르노니 오늘 네가 나와 함께 낙원에 있으리라 하시니라
23:44 It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.
23:44 ○ 때가 제 육 시쯤 되어 해가 빛을 잃고 온 땅에 어두움이 임하여 제 구 시까지 계속하며
23:45 The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
23:45 성소의 휘장이 한가운데가 찢어지더라
23:46 Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" Having said this, he breathed his last.
23:46 예수께서 큰 소리로 불러 가라사대 아버지여 내 영혼을 아버지 손에 부탁하나이다 하고 이 말씀을 하신 후 운명하시다
23:47 When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous man."
23:47 백부장이 그 된 일을 보고 하나님께 영광을 돌려 가로되 이 사람은 정녕 의인이었도다 하고
23:48 All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their breasts.
23:48 이를 구경하러 모인 무리도 그 된 일을 보고 다 가슴을 두드리며 돌아가고
23:49 All his acquaintances, and the women who followed with him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.
23:49 예수의 아는 자들과 및 갈릴리로부터 따라온 여자들도 다 멀리 서서 이 일을 보니라
23:50 Behold, a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man
23:50 ○ 공회의원으로 선하고 의로운 요셉이라 하는 사람이 있으니
23:51 (he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was also waiting for the Kingdom of God:
23:51 {저희의 결의와 행사에 가타 하지 아니한 자라} 그는 유대인의 동네 아리마대 사람이요 하나님의 나라를 기다리는 자러니
23:52 this man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus' body.
23:52 빌라도에게 가서 예수의 시체를 달라 하여
23:53 He took it down, and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid.
23:53 이를 내려 세마포로 싸고 아직 사람을 장사한 일이 없는 바위에 판 무덤에 넣어 두니
23:54 It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near.
23:54 이 날은 예비일이요 안식일이 거의 되었더라
23:55 The women, who had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and saw the tomb, and how his body was laid.
23:55 갈릴리에서 예수와 함께 온 여자들이 뒤를 좇아 그 무덤과 그의 시체를 어떻게 둔 것을 보고
23:56 They returned, and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
23:56 돌아가 향품과 향유를 예비하더라 ○ 계명을 좇아 안식일에 쉬더라
24:1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
24:1 안식 후 첫날 새벽에 이 여자들이 그 예비한 향품을 가지고 무덤에 가서
24:2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
24:2 돌이 무덤에서 굴려 옮기운 것을 보고
24:3 They entered in, and didn't find the Lord Jesus' body.
24:3 들어가니 주 예수의 시체가 뵈지 아니하더라
24:4 It happened, while they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
24:4 이를 인하여 근심할 때에 문득 찬란한 옷을 입은 두 사람이 곁에 섰는지라
24:5 Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?
24:5 여자들이 두려워 얼굴을 땅에 대니 두 사람이 이르되 어찌하여 산 자를 죽은 자 가운데서 찾느냐
24:6 He isn't here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,
24:6 여기 계시지 않고 살아나셨느니라 갈릴리에 계실 때에 너희에게 어떻게 말씀하신 것을 기억하라
24:7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?"
24:7 이르시기를 인자가 죄인의 손에 넘기워 십자가에 못 박히고 제 삼 일에 다시 살아나야 하리라 하셨느니라 한대
24:8 They remembered his words,
24:8 저희가 예수의 말씀을 기억하고
24:9 returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
24:9 무덤에서 돌아가 이 모든 것을 열 한 사도와 모든 다른 이에게 고하니
24:10 Now they were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. The other women with them told these things to the apostles.
24:10 {이 여자들은 막달라 마리아와 요안나와 야고보의 모친 마리아라 또 저희와 함께 한 다른 여자들도 이것을 사도들에게 고하니라}
24:11 These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they didn't believe them.
24:11 사도들은 저희 말이 허탄한 듯이 뵈어 믿지 아니하나
24:12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
24:12 베드로는 일어나 무덤에 달려가서 구푸려 들여다 보니 세마포만 보이는지라 그 된 일을 기이히 여기며 집으로 돌아가니라
24:13 Behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem.
24:13 ○ 그 날에 저희 중 둘이 예루살렘에서 이십 오 리 되는 엠마오라 하는 촌으로 가면서
24:14 They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.
24:14 이 모든 된 일을 서로 이야기하더라
24:15 It happened, while they talked and questioned together, that Jesus himself came near, and went with them.
24:15 저희가 서로 이야기하며 문의할 때에 예수께서 가까이 이르러 저희와 동행하시나
24:16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
24:16 저희의 눈이 가리워져서 그인 줄 알아보지 못하거늘
24:17 He said to them, "What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?"
24:17 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 길 가면서 서로 주고받고 하는 이야기가 무엇이냐 하시니 두 사람이 슬픈 빛을 띠고 머물러서더라
24:18 One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, "Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who doesn't know the things which have happened there in these days?"
24:18 그 한 사람인 글로바라 하는 자가 대답하여 가로되 당신이 예루살렘에 우거하면서 근일 거기서 된 일을 홀로 알지 못하느뇨
24:19 He said to them, "What things?" They said to him, "The things concerning Jesus, the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
24:19 가라사대 무슨 일이뇨 가로되 나사렛 예수의 일이니 그는 하나님과 모든 백성 앞에서 말과 일에 능하신 선지자여늘
24:20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
24:20 우리 대제사장들과 관원들이 사형 판결에 넘겨 주어 십자가에 못 박았느니라
24:21 But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
24:21 우리는 이 사람이 이스라엘을 구속할 자라고 바랐노라 이뿐 아니라 이 일이 된 지가 사흘째요
24:22 Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;
24:22 또한 우리 중에 어떤 여자들이 우리로 놀라게 하였으니 이는 저희가 새벽에 무덤에 갔다가
24:23 and when they didn't find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
24:23 그의 시체는 보지 못하고 와서 그가 살으셨다 하는 천사들의 나타남을 보았다 함이라
24:24 Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they didn't see him."
24:24 또 우리와 함께 한 자 중에 두어 사람이 무덤에 가 과연 여자들의 말한 바와 같음을 보았으나 예수는 보지 못하였느니라 하거늘
24:25 He said to them, "Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
24:25 가라사대 미련하고 선지자들의 말한 모든 것을 마음에 더디 믿는 자들이여
24:26 Didn't the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?"
24:26 그리스도가 이런 고난을 받고 자기의 영광에 들어가야 할 것이 아니냐 하시고
24:27 Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
24:27 이에 모세와 및 모든 선지자의 글로 시작하여 모든 성경에 쓴 바 자기에 관한 것을 자세히 설명하시니라
24:28 They drew near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.
24:28 저희의 가는 촌에 가까이 가매 예수는 더 가려 하는 것 같이 하시니
24:29 They urged him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over." He went in to stay with them.
24:29 저희가 강권하여 가로되 우리와 함께 유하사이다 때가 저물어 가고 날이 이미 기울었나이다 하니 이에 저희와 함께 유하러 들어가시니라
24:30 It happened, that when he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them.
24:30 저희와 함께 음식 잡수실 때에 떡을 가지사 축사하시고 떼어 저희에게 주시매
24:31 Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.
24:31 저희 눈이 밝아져 그인 줄 알아 보더니 예수는 저희에게 보이지 아니하시는지라
24:32 They said one to another, "Weren't our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?"
24:32 저희가 서로 말하되 길에서 우리에게 말씀하시고 우리에게 성경을 풀어 주실 때에 우리 속에서 마음이 뜨겁지 아니하더냐 하고
24:33 They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
24:33 곧 그 시로 일어나 예루살렘에 돌아가 보니 열 한 사도와 및 그와 함께 한 자들이 모여 있어
24:34 saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!"
24:34 말하기를 주께서 과연 살아나시고 시몬에게 나타나셨다 하는지라
24:35 They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.
24:35 두 사람도 길에서 된 일과 예수께서 떡을 떼심으로 자기들에게 알려지신 것을 말하더라
24:36 As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, "Peace be to you."
24:36 ○ 이 말을 할 때에 예수께서 친히 그 가운데 서서 가라사대 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 하시니
24:37 But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
24:37 저희가 놀라고 무서워하여 그 보는 것을 영으로 생각하는지라
24:38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?
24:38 예수께서 가라사대 어찌하여 두려워하며 어찌하여 마음에 의심이 일어나느냐
24:39 See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit doesn't have flesh and bones, as you see that I have."
24:39 내 손과 발을 보고 나인 줄 알라 또 나를 만져 보라 영은 살과 뼈가 없으되 너희 보는 바와 같이 나는 있느니라
24:40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
24:40 이 말씀을 하시고 손과 발을 보이시나
24:41 While they still didn't believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, "Do you have anything here to eat?"
24:41 저희가 너무 기쁘므로 오히려 믿지 못하고 기이히 여길 때에 이르시되 여기 무슨 먹을 것이 있느냐 하시니
24:42 They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
24:42 이에 구운 생선 한 토막을 드리매
24:43 He took them, and ate in front of them.
24:43 받으사 그 앞에서 잡수시더라
24:44 He said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."
24:44 ○ 또 이르시되 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 너희에게 말한 바 곧 모세의 율법과 선지자의 글과 시편에 나를 가리켜 기록된 모든 것이 이루어져야 하리라 한 말이 이것이라 하시고
24:45 Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
24:45 이에 저희 마음을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하시고
24:46 He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
24:46 또 이르시되 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제 삼 일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과
24:47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
24:47 또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 얻게 하는 회개가 예루살렘으로부터 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니
24:48 You are witnesses of these things.
24:48 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이라
24:49 Behold, I send forth the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high."
24:49 볼지어다 내가 내 아버지의 약속하신 것을 너희에게 보내리니 너희는 위로부터 능력을 입히울 때까지 이 성에 유하라 하시니라
24:50 He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
24:50 ○ 예수께서 저희를 데리고 베다니 앞까지 나가사 손을 들어 저희에게 축복하시더니
24:51 It happened, while he blessed them, that he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.
24:51 축복하실 때에 저희를 떠나 [하늘로 올리우]시니
24:52 They worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
24:52 저희가 [그에게 경배하고] 큰 기쁨으로 예루살렘에 돌아가
24:53 and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
24:53 늘 성전에 있어 하나님을 찬송하니라
