1:1 The beginning of the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
1:1 하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도 복음의 시작이라
1:2 As it is written in the prophets, "Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.*
1:2 선지자 이사야의 글에 보라 내가 내 사자를 네 앞에 보내노니 저가 네 길을 예비하리라
1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make ready the way of the Lord! Make his paths straight!'"
1:3 광야에 외치는 자의 소리가 있어 가로되 너희는 주의 길을 예비하라 그의 첩경을 평탄케 하라 기록된 것과 같이
1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.
1:4 세례 요한이 이르러 광야에서 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개의 세례를 전파하니
1:5 All the country of Judea and all those of Jerusalem went out to him. They were baptized by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins.
1:5 온 유대 지방과 예루살렘 사람이 다 나아가 자기 죄를 자복하고 요단 강에서 그에게 세례를 받더라
1:6 John was clothed with camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.
1:6 요한은 약대털을 입고 허리에 가죽 띠를 띠고 메뚜기와 석청을 먹더라
1:7 He preached, saying, "After me comes he who is mightier than I, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.
1:7 그가 전파하여 가로되 나보다 능력 많으신 이가 내 뒤에 오시나니 나는 굽혀 그의 신들메를 풀기도 감당치 못하겠노라
1:8 baptized you in water, but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit."
1:8 나는 너희에게 물로 세례를 주었거니와 그는 성령으로 너희에게 세례를 주시리라
1:9 It happened in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
1:9 ○ 그 때에 예수께서 갈릴리 나사렛으로부터 와서 요단 강에서 요한에게 세례를 받으시고
1:10 Immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting, and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
1:10 곧 물에서 올라 오실쌔 하늘이 갈라짐과 성령이 비둘기 같이 자기에게 내려오심을 보시더니
1:11 voice came out of the sky, "You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
1:11 하늘로서 소리가 나기를 너는 내 사랑하는 아들이라 내가 너를 기뻐하노라 하시니라
1:12 Immediately the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness.
1:12 ○ 성령이 곧 예수를 광야로 몰아내신지라
1:13 He was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.
1:13 광야에서 사십 일을 계셔서 사단에게 시험을 받으시며 들짐승과 함께 계시니 천사들이 수종들더라
1:14 Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God,
1:14 ○ 요한이 잡힌 후 예수께서 갈릴리에 오셔서 하나님의 복음을 전파하여
1:15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News."
1:15 가라사대 때가 찼고 하나님 나라가 가까왔으니 회개하고 복음을 믿으라 하시더라
1:16 Passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
1:16 ○ 갈릴리 해변으로 지나가시다가 시몬과 그 형제 안드레가 바다에 그물 던지는 것을 보시니 저희는 어부라
1:17 Jesus said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men."
1:17 예수께서 가라사대 나를 따라 오너라 내가 너희로 사람을 낚는 어부가 되게 하리라 하시니
1:18 Immediately they left their nets, and followed him.
1:18 곧 그물을 버려 두고 좇으니라
1:19 Going on a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.
1:19 조금 더 가시다가 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그 형제 요한을 보시니 저희도 배에 있어 그물을 깁는데
1:20 Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.
1:20 곧 부르시니 그 아비 세베대를 삯군들과 함께 배에 버려 두고 예수를 따라가니라
1:21 They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.
1:21 ○ 저희가 가버나움에 들어가니라 예수께서 곧 안식일에 회당에 들어가 가르치시매
1:22 They were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
1:22 뭇 사람이 그의 교훈에 놀라니 이는 그 가르치시는 것이 권세 있는 자와 같고 서기관들과 같지 아니함일러라
1:23 Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
1:23 마침 저희 회당에 더러운 귀신 들린 사람이 있어 소리 질러 가로되
1:24 saying, "Ha! What do we have to do with you, Jesus, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!"
1:24 나사렛 예수여 우리가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있나이까 우리를 멸하러 왔나이까 나는 당신이 누구인 줄 아노니 하나님의 거룩한 자니이다
1:25 Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!"
1:25 예수께서 꾸짖어 가라사대 잠잠하고 그 사람에게서 나오라 하시니
1:26 The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
1:26 더러운 귀신이 그 사람으로 경련을 일으키게 하고 큰 소리를 지르며 나오는지라
1:27 They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!"
1:27 다 놀라 서로 물어 가로되 이는 어찜이뇨 권세 있는 새 교훈이로다 더러운 귀신들을 명한즉 순종하는도다 하더라
1:28 The report of him went out immediately everywhere into all the region of Galilee and its surrounding area.
1:28 예수의 소문이 곧 온 갈릴리 사방에 퍼지더라
1:29 Immediately, when they had come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
1:29 회당에서 나와 곧 야고보와 요한과 함께 시몬과 안드레의 집에 들어가시니
1:30 Now Simon's wife's mother lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him about her.
1:30 시몬의 장모가 열병으로 누웠는지라 사람들이 곧 그의 일로 예수께 여짜온대
1:31 He came and took her by the hand, and raised her up. The fever left her, and she served them.
1:31 나아가사 그 손을 잡아 일으키시니 열병이 떠나고 여자가 저희에게 수종드니라
1:32 At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick, and those who were possessed by demons.
1:32 ○ 저물어 해 질 때에 모든 병자와 귀신 들린 자를 예수께 데려오니
1:33 All the city was gathered together at the door.
1:33 온 동네가 문 앞에 모였더라
1:34 He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. He didn't allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.
1:34 예수께서 각색 병든 많은 사람을 고치시며 많은 귀신을 내어 쫓으시되 귀신이 자기를 알므로 그 말하는 것을 허락지 아니하시니라
1:35 Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there.
1:35 ○ 새벽 오히려 미명에 예수께서 일어나 나가 한적한 곳으로 가사 거기서 기도하시더니
1:36 Simon and those who were with him followed after him;
1:36 시몬과 및 그와 함께 있는 자들이 예수의 뒤를 따라가
1:37 and they found him, and told him, "Everyone is looking for you."
1:37 만나서 가로되 모든 사람이 주를 찾나이다
1:38 He said to them, "Let's go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because I came out for this reason."
1:38 이르시되 우리가 다른 가까운 마을들로 가자 거기서도 전도하리니 내가 이를 위하여 왔노라 하시고
1:39 He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons.
1:39 이에 온 갈릴리에 다니시며 저희 여러 회당에서 전도하시고 또 귀신들을 내어 쫓으시더라
1:40 leper came to him, begging him, kneeling down to him, and saying to him, "If you want to, you can make me clean."
1:40 ○ 한 문둥병자가 예수께 와서 꿇어 엎드리어 간구하여 가로되 원하시면 저를 깨끗케 하실 수 있나이다
1:41 Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, "I want to. Be made clean."
1:41 예수께서 민망히 여기사 손을 내밀어 저에게 대시며 가라사대 내가 원하노니 깨끗함을 받으라 하신대
1:42 When he had said this, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean.
1:42 곧 문둥병이 그 사람에게서 떠나가고 깨끗하여진지라
1:43 He strictly warned him, and immediately sent him out,
1:43 엄히 경계하사 곧 보내시며
1:44 and said to him, "See you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them."
1:44 가라사대 삼가 아무에게 아무 말도 하지 말고 가서 네 몸을 제사장에게 보이고 네 깨끗케 됨을 인하여 모세의 명한 것을 드려 저희에게 증거하라 하셨더니
1:45 But he went out, and began to proclaim it much, and to spread about the matter, so that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was outside in desert places: and they came to him from everywhere.
1:45 그러나 그 사람이 나가서 이 일을 많이 전파하여 널리 퍼지게 하니 그러므로 예수께서 다시는 드러나게 동네에 들어가지 못하시고 오직 바깥 한적한 곳에 계셨으나 사방에서 그에게로 나아오더라
2:1 When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house.
2:1 수 일 후에 예수께서 다시 가버나움에 들어가시니 집에 계신 소문이 들린지라
2:2 Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.
2:2 많은 사람이 모여서 문 앞에라도 용신할 수 없게 되었는데 예수께서 저희에게 도를 말씀하시더니
2:3 Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.
2:3 사람들이 한 중풍병자를 네 사람에게 메워 가지고 예수께로 올쌔
2:4 When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.
2:4 무리를 인하여 예수께 데려갈 수 없으므로 그 계신 곳의 지붕을 뜯어 구멍을 내고 중풍병자의 누운 상을 달아 내리니
2:5 Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."
2:5 예수께서 저희의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 소자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시니
2:6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
2:6 어떤 서기관들이 거기 앉아서 마음에 의논하기를
2:7 Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
2:7 이 사람이 어찌 이렇게 말하는가 참람하도다 오직 하나님 한 분 외에는 누가 능히 죄를 사하겠느냐
2:8 Immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
2:8 저희가 속으로 이렇게 의논하는 줄을 예수께서 곧 중심에 아시고 이르시되 어찌하여 이것을 마음에 의논하느냐
2:9 Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven;' or to say, 'Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?'
2:9 중풍병자에게 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 네 상을 가지고 걸어가라 하는 말이 어느 것이 쉽겠느냐
2:10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he said to the paralytic--
2:10 그러나 인자가 땅에서 죄를 사하는 권세가 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되
2:11 tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house."
2:11 내가 네게 이르노니 일어나 네 상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니
2:12 He arose, and immediately took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"
2:12 그가 일어나 곧 상을 가지고 모든 사람 앞에서 나가거늘 저희가 다 놀라 영광을 하나님께 돌리며 가로되 우리가 이런 일을 도무지 보지 못하였다 하더라
2:13 He went out again by the seaside. All the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
2:13 ○ 예수께서 다시 바닷가에 나가시매 무리가 다 나아왔거늘 예수께서 저희를 가르치시니라
2:14 As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, "Follow me." And he arose and followed him.
2:14 또 지나가시다가 알패오의 아들 레위가 세관에 앉아 있는 것을 보시고 저에게 이르시되 나를 좇으라 하시니 일어나 좇으니라
2:15 It happened, that he was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
2:15 그의 집에 앉아 잡수실 때에 많은 세리와 죄인들이 예수와 그 제자들과 함께 앉았으니 이는 저희가 많이 있어서 예수를 좇음이러라
2:16 The scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, "Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?"
2:16 바리새인의 서기관들이 예수께서 죄인과 세리들과 함께 잡수시는 것을 보고 그 제자들에게 이르되 어찌하여 세리와 죄인들과 함께 먹는가
2:17 When Jesus heard it, he said to them, "Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
2:17 예수께서 들으시고 저희에게 이르시되 건강한 자에게는 의원이 쓸 데 없고 병든 자에게라야 쓸 데 있느니라 내가 의인을 부르러 온 것이 아니요 죄인을 부르러 왔노라 하시니라
2:18 John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, and they came and asked him, "Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don't fast?"
2:18 ○ 요한의 제자들과 바리새인들이 금식하고 있는지라 혹이 예수께 와서 말하되 요한의 제자들과 바리새인의 제자들은 금식하는데 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 금식하지 아니하나이까
2:19 Jesus said to them, "Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can't fast.
2:19 예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 혼인 집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 때에 금식할 수 있느냐 신랑과 함께 있을 동안에는 금식할 수 없나니
2:20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.
2:20 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 이르리니 그 날에는 금식할 것이니라
2:21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.
2:21 생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 기운 새 것이 낡은 그것을 당기어 해어짐이 더하게 되느니라
2:22 No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins."
2:22 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣는 자가 없나니 만일 그렇게 하면 새 포도주가 부대를 터뜨려 포도주와 부대를 버리게 되리라 오직 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣느니라 하시니라
2:23 It happened that he was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
2:23 ○ 안식일에 예수께서 밀밭 사이로 지나가실쌔 그 제자들이 길을 열며 이삭을 자르니
2:24 The Pharisees said to him, "Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?"
2:24 바리새인들이 예수께 말하되 보시오 저희가 어찌하여 안식일에 하지 못할 일을 하나이까
2:25 He said to them, "Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry--he, and those who were with him?
2:25 예수께서 가라사대 다윗이 자기와 및 함께 한 자들이 핍절되어 시장할 때에 한 일을 읽지 못하였느냐
2:26 How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?"
2:26 그가 아비아달 대제사장 때에 하나님의 전에 들어가서 제사장 외에는 먹지 못하는 진설병을 먹고 함께 한 자들에게도 주지 아니하였느냐
2:27 He said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
2:27 또 가라사대 안식일은 사람을 위하여 있는 것이요 사람이 안식일을 위하여 있는 것이 아니니
2:28 Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath."
2:28 이러므로 인자는 안식일에도 주인이니라
3:1 He entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered.
3:1 예수께서 다시 회당에 들어가시니 한편 손 마른 사람이 거기 있는지라
3:2 They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
3:2 사람들이 예수를 송사하려 하여 안식일에 그 사람을 고치시는가 엿보거늘
3:3 He said to the man who had his hand withered, "Stand up."
3:3 예수께서 손 마른 사람에게 이르시되 한 가운데 일어서라 하시고
3:4 He said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent.
3:4 저희에게 이르시되 안식일에 선을 행하는 것과 악을 행하는 것, 생명을 구하는 것과 죽이는 것, 어느 것이 옳으냐 하시니 저희가 잠잠하거늘
3:5 When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other.
3:5 저희 마음의 완악함을 근심하사 노하심으로 저희를 둘러 보시고 그 사람에게 이르시되 네 손을 내밀라 하시니 그가 내밀매 그 손이 회복되었더라
3:6 The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
3:6 바리새인들이 나가서 곧 헤롯당과 함께 어떻게 하여 예수를 죽일꼬 의논하니라
3:7 Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,
3:7 ○ 예수께서 제자들과 함께 바다로 물러가시니 갈릴리에서 큰 무리가 좇으며
3:8 from Jerusalem, from Idumaea, beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came to him.
3:8 유대와 예루살렘과 이두매와 요단 강 건너편과 또 두로와 시돈 근처에서 허다한 무리가 그의 하신 큰 일을 듣고 나아오는지라
3:9 He spoke to his disciples that a little boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they wouldn't press on him.
3:9 예수께서 무리의 에워싸 미는 것을 면키 위하여 작은 배를 등대하도록 제자들에게 명하셨으니
3:10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.
3:10 이는 많은 사람을 고치셨으므로 병에 고생하는 자들이 예수를 만지고자 하여 핍근히 함이더라
3:11 The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, "You are the Son of God!"
3:11 더러운 귀신들도 어느 때든지 예수를 보면 그 앞에 엎드려 부르짖어 가로되 당신은 하나님의 아들이니이다 하니
3:12 He sternly warned them that they should not make him known.
3:12 예수께서 자기를 나타내지 말라고 많이 경계하시니라
3:13 He went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.
3:13 ○ 또 산에 오르사 자기의 원하는 자들을 부르시니 나아온지라
3:14 He appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach,
3:14 이에 열 둘을 세우셨으니 이는 자기와 함께 있게 하시고 또 보내사 전도도 하며
3:15 and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
3:15 귀신을 내어쫓는 권세도 있게 하려 하심이러라
3:16 Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter;
3:16 이 열 둘을 세우셨으니 시몬에게는 베드로란 이름을 더하셨고
3:17 James the son of Zebedee; John, the brother of James, and he surnamed them Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder;
3:17 또 세베대의 아들 야고보와 야고보의 형제 요한이니 이 둘에게는 보아너게 곧 우뢰의 아들이란 이름을 더하셨으며
3:18 Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot;
3:18 또 안드레와 빌립과 바돌로매와 마태와 도마와 알패오의 아들 야고보와 및 다대오와 가나안인 시몬이며
3:19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. He came into a house.
3:19 또 가룟 유다니 이는 예수를 판 자러라
3:20 The multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
3:20 ○ 집에 들어가시니 무리가 다시 모이므로 식사할 겨를도 없는지라
3:21 When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him: for they said, "He is insane."
3:21 예수의 친속들이 듣고 붙들러 나오니 이는 그가 미쳤다 함일러라
3:22 The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebul," and, "By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons."
3:22 예루살렘에서 내려온 서기관들은 저가 바알세불을 지폈다 하며 또 귀신의 왕을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하니
3:23 He summoned them, and said to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan?
3:23 예수께서 저희를 불러다가 비유로 말씀하시되 사단이 어찌 사단을 쫓아낼 수 있느냐
3:24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
3:24 또 만일 나라가 스스로 분쟁하면 그 나라가 설 수 없고
3:25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
3:25 만일 집이 스스로 분쟁하면 그 집이 설 수 없고
3:26 If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can't stand, but has an end.
3:26 만일 사단이 자기를 거스려 일어나 분쟁하면 설 수 없고 이에 망하느니라
3:27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
3:27 사람이 먼저 강한 자를 결박지 않고는 그 강한 자의 집에 들어가 세간을 늑탈치 못하리니 결박한 후에야 그 집을 늑탈하리라
3:28 Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;
3:28 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 사람의 모든 죄와 무릇 훼방하는 훼방은 사하심을 얻되
3:29 but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"
3:29 누구든지 성령을 훼방하는 자는 사하심을 영원히 얻지 못하고 영원한 죄에 처하느니라 하시니
3:30 --because they said, "He has an unclean spirit."
3:30 이는 저희가 말하기를 더러운 귀신이 들렸다 함이러라
3:31 His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
3:31 ○ 때에 예수의 모친과 동생들이 와서 밖에 서서 사람을 보내어 예수를 부르니
3:32 multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, "Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you."
3:32 무리가 예수를 둘러 앉았다가 여짜오되 보소서 당신의 모친과 동생들과 누이들이 밖에서 찾나이다
3:33 He answered them, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"
3:33 대답하시되 누가 내 모친이며 동생들이냐 하시고
3:34 Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, "Behold, my mother and my brothers!
3:34 둘러 앉은 자들을 둘러 보시며 가라사대 내 모친과 내 동생들을 보라
3:35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
3:35 누구든지 하나님의 뜻대로 하는 자는 내 형제요 자매요 모친이니라
4:1 Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea, and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
4:1 예수께서 다시 바닷가에서 가르치시니 큰 무리가 모여들거늘 예수께서 배에 올라 바다에 떠 앉으시고 온 무리는 바다 곁 육지에 있더라
4:2 He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
4:2 이에 예수께서 여러 가지를 비유로 가르치시니 그 가르치시는 중에 저희에게 이르시되
4:3 Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow,
4:3 들으라 씨를 뿌리는 자가 뿌리러 나가서
4:4 and it happened, as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds* came and devoured it.
4:4 뿌릴쌔 더러는 길 가에 떨어지매 새들이 와서 먹어 버렸고
4:5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
4:5 더러는 흙이 얇은 돌밭에 떨어지매 흙이 깊지 아니하므로 곧 싹이 나오나
4:6 When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
4:6 해가 돋은 후에 터져서 뿌리가 없으므로 말랐고
4:7 Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
4:7 더러는 가시떨기에 떨어지매 가시가 자라 기운을 막으므로 결실치 못하였고
4:8 Others fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some brought forth thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much."
4:8 더러는 좋은 땅에 떨어지매 자라 무성하여 결실하였으니 삼십 배와 육십 배와 백 배가 되었느니라 하시고
4:9 He said, "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear."
4:9 또 이르시되 들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라 하시니라
4:10 When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
4:10 ○ 예수께서 홀로 계실 때에 함께 한 사람들이 열 두 제자로 더불어 그 비유들을 묻자오니
4:11 He said to them, "To you is given the mystery of the Kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
4:11 이르시되 하나님 나라의 비밀을 너희에게는 주었으나 외인에게는 모든 것을 비유로 하나니
4:12 that 'seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.'"*
4:12 이는 저희로 보기는 보아도 알지 못하며 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지 못하게 하여 돌이켜 죄 사함을 얻지 못하게 하려 함이니라 하시고
4:13 He said to them, "Don't you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
4:13 또 가라사대 너희가 이 비유를 알지 못할진대 어떻게 모든 비유를 알겠느뇨
4:14 The farmer sows the word.
4:14 뿌리는 자는 말씀을 뿌리는 것이라
4:15 The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
4:15 말씀이 길 가에 뿌리웠다는 것은 이들이니 곧 말씀을 들었을 때에 사단이 즉시 와서 저희에게 뿌리운 말씀을 빼앗는 것이요
4:16 These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
4:16 또 이와 같이 돌밭에 뿌리웠다는 것은 이들이니 곧 말씀을 들을 때에 즉시 기쁨으로 받으나
4:17 They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
4:17 그 속에 뿌리가 없어 잠간 견디다가 말씀을 인하여 환난이나 핍박이 일어나는 때에는 곧 넘어지는 자요
4:18 Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
4:18 또 어떤 이는 가시떨기에 뿌리우는 자니 이들은 말씀을 듣되
4:19 and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
4:19 세상의 염려와 재리의 유혹과 기타 욕심이 들어와 말씀을 막아 결실치 못하게 되는 자요
4:20 Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times."
4:20 좋은 땅에 뿌리웠다는 것은 곧 말씀을 듣고 받아 삼십 배와 육십 배와 백 배의 결실을 하는 자니라
4:21 He said to them, "Is the lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn't it put on a stand?
4:21 ○ 또 저희에게 이르시되 사람이 등불을 가져오는 것은 말 아래나 평상 아래나 두려 함이냐 등경 위에 두려 함이 아니냐
4:22 For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light.
4:22 드러내려 하지 않고는 숨긴 것이 없고 나타내려 하지 않고는 감추인 것이 없느니라
4:23 If any man has ears to hear, let him hear."
4:23 들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라
4:24 He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.
4:24 또 가라사대 너희가 무엇을 듣는가 스스로 삼가라 너희의 헤아리는 그 헤아림으로 너희가 헤아림을 받을 것이요 또 더 받으리니
4:25 For whoever has, to him will more be given, and he who doesn't have, even that which he has will be taken away from him."
4:25 있는 자는 받을 것이요 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지 빼앗기리라
4:26 He said, "The Kingdom of God is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
4:26 ○ 또 가라사대 하나님의 나라는 사람이 씨를 땅에 뿌림과 같으니
4:27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he doesn't know how.
4:27 저가 밤낮 자고 깨고 하는 중에 씨가 나서 자라되 그 어떻게 된 것을 알지 못하느니라
4:28 For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
4:28 땅이 스스로 열매를 맺되 처음에는 싹이요 다음에는 이삭이요 그 다음에는 이삭에 충실한 곡식이라
4:29 But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts forth the sickle, because the harvest has come."
4:29 열매가 익으면 곧 낫을 대나니 이는 추수 때가 이르렀음이니라
4:30 He said, "How will we liken the Kingdom of God? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?
4:30 ○ 또 가라사대 우리가 하나님의 나라를 어떻게 비하며 또 무슨 비유로 나타낼꼬
4:31 It's like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
4:31 겨자씨 한 알과 같으니 땅에 심길 때에는 땅 위의 모든 씨보다 작은 것이로되
4:32 yet when it is sown, grows up, and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow."
4:32 심긴 후에는 자라서 모든 나물보다 커지며 큰 가지를 내니 공중의 새들이 그 그늘에 깃들일 만큼 되느니라
4:33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
4:33 ○ 예수께서 이러한 많은 비유로 저희가 알아 들을 수 있는 대로 말씀을 가르치시되
4:34 Without a parable he didn't speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
4:34 비유가 아니면 말씀하지 아니하시고 다만 혼자 계실 때에 그 제자들에게 모든 것을 해석하시더라
4:35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let's go over to the other side."
4:35 ○ 그날 저물 때에 제자들에게 이르시되 우리가 저편으로 건너가자 하시니
4:36 Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
4:36 저희가 무리를 떠나 예수를 배에 계신 그대로 모시고 가매 다른 배들도 함께 하더니
4:37 big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
4:37 큰 광풍이 일어나며 물결이 부딪혀 배에 들어와 배에 가득하게 되었더라
4:38 He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, "Teacher, don't you care that we are dying?"
4:38 예수께서는 고물에서 베개를 베시고 주무시더니 제자들이 깨우며 가로되 선생님이여 우리의 죽게 된 것을 돌아보지 아니하시나이까 하니
4:39 He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
4:39 예수께서 깨어 바람을 꾸짖으시며 바다더러 이르시되 잠잠하라 고요하라 하시니 바람이 그치고 아주 잔잔하여지더라
4:40 He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?"
4:40 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 어찌하여 이렇게 무서워하느냐 너희가 어찌 믿음이 없느냐 하시니
4:41 They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
4:41 저희가 심히 두려워하여 서로 말하되 저가 뉘기에 바람과 바다라도 순종하는고 하였더라
5:1 They came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
5:1 예수께서 바다 건너편 거라사인의 지방에 이르러
5:2 When he had come out of the boat, immediately a man with an unclean spirit met him out of the tombs.
5:2 배에서 나오시매 곧 더러운 귀신 들린 사람이 무덤 사이에서 나와 예수를 만나다
5:3 He lived in the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains,
5:3 그 사람은 무덤 사이에 거처하는데 이제는 아무나 쇠사슬로도 맬 수 없게 되었으니
5:4 because he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Nobody had the strength to tame him.
5:4 이는 여러 번 고랑과 쇠사슬에 매였어도 쇠사슬을 끊고 고랑을 깨뜨렸음이러라 그리하여 아무도 저를 제어할 힘이 없는지라
5:5 Always, night and day, in the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out, and cutting himself with stones.
5:5 밤낮 무덤 사이에서나 산에서나 늘 소리 지르며 돌로 제 몸을 상하고 있었더라
5:6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and bowed down to him,
5:6 그가 멀리서 예수를 보고 달려와 절하며
5:7 and crying out with a loud voice, he said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, don't torment me."
5:7 큰 소리로 부르짖어 가로되 지극히 높으신 하나님의 아들 예수여 나와 당신과 무슨 상관이 있나이까 원컨대 하나님 앞에 맹세하고 나를 괴롭게 마옵소서 하니
5:8 For he said to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!"
5:8 이는 예수께서 이미 저에게 이르시기를 더러운 귀신아 그 사람에게서 나오라 하셨음이라
5:9 He asked him, "What is your name?" He said to him, "My name is Legion, for we are many."
5:9 이에 물으시되 네 이름이 무엇이냐 가로되 내 이름은 군대니 우리가 많음이니이다 하고
5:10 He begged him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
5:10 자기를 이 지방에서 내어 보내지 마시기를 간절히 구하더니
5:11 Now on the mountainside there was a great herd of pigs feeding.
5:11 마침 거기 돼지의 큰 떼가 산 곁에서 먹고 있는지라
5:12 All the demons begged him, saying, "Send us into the pigs, that we may enter into them."
5:12 이에 간구하여 가로되 우리를 돼지에게로 보내어 들어가게 하소서 하니
5:13 At once Jesus gave them permission. The unclean spirits came out and entered into the pigs. The herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and they were drowned in the sea.
5:13 허락하신대 더러운 귀신들이 나와서 돼지에게로 들어가니 거의 이천 마리 되는 떼가 바다를 향하여 비탈로 내리달아 바다에서 몰사하거늘
5:14 Those who fed them fled, and told it in the city and in the country. The people came to see what it was that had happened.
5:14 치던 자들이 도망하여 읍내와 촌에 고하니 사람들이 그 어떻게 된 것을 보러 와서
5:15 They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, even him who had the legion; and they were afraid.
5:15 예수께 이르러 그 귀신 들렸던 자 곧 군대 지폈던 자가 옷을 입고 정신이 온전하여 앉은 것을 보고 두려워하더라
5:16 Those who saw it declared to them how it happened to him who was possessed by demons, and about the pigs.
5:16 이에 귀신 들렸던 자의 당한 것과 돼지의 일을 본 자들이 저희에게 고하매
5:17 They began to beg him to depart from their region.
5:17 저희가 예수께 그 지경에서 떠나시기를 간구하더라
5:18 As he was entering into the boat, he who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him.
5:18 예수께서 배에 오르실 때에 귀신 들렸던 사람이 함께 있기를 간구하였으나
5:19 He didn't allow him, but said to him, "Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you."
5:19 허락지 아니하시고 저에게 이르시되 집으로 돌아가 주께서 네게 어떻게 큰 일을 행하사 너를 불쌍히 여기신 것을 네 친속에게 고하라 하신대
5:20 He went his way, and began to proclaim in Decapolis how Jesus had done great things for him, and everyone marveled.
5:20 그가 가서 예수께서 자기에게 어떻게 큰 일 행하신 것을 데가볼리에 전파하니 모든 사람이 기이히 여기더라
5:21 When Jesus had crossed back over in the boat to the other side, a great multitude was gathered to him; and he was by the sea.
5:21 ○ 예수께서 배를 타시고 다시 저편으로 건너가시매 큰 무리가 그에게로 모이거늘 이에 바닷가에 계시더니
5:22 Behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, came; and seeing him, he fell at his feet,
5:22 회당장 중 하나인 야이로라 하는 이가 와서 예수를 보고 발 아래 엎드리어
5:23 and begged him much, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death. Please come and lay your hands on her, that she may be made healthy, and live."
5:23 많이 간구하여 가로되 내 어린 딸이 죽게 되었사오니 오셔서 그 위에 손을 얹으사 그로 구원을 얻어 살게 하소서 하거늘
5:24 He went with him, and a great multitude followed him, and they pressed upon him on all sides.
5:24 이에 그와 함께 가실쌔 큰 무리가 따라가며 에워싸 밀더라
5:25 certain woman, who had an issue of blood for twelve years,
5:25 열 두 해를 혈루증으로 앓는 한 여자가 있어
5:26 and had suffered many things by many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better, but rather grew worse,
5:26 많은 의원에게 많은 괴로움을 받았고 있던 것도 다 허비하였으되 아무 효험이 없고 도리어 더 중하여졌던 차에
5:27 having heard the things concerning Jesus, came up behind him in the crowd, and touched his clothes.
5:27 예수의 소문을 듣고 무리 가운데 섞여 뒤로 와서 그의 옷에 손을 대니
5:28 For she said, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be made well."
5:28 이는 내가 그의 옷에만 손을 대어도 구원을 얻으리라 함일러라
5:29 Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
5:29 이에 그의 혈루 근원이 곧 마르매 병이 나은 줄을 몸에 깨달으니라
5:30 Immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd, and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"
5:30 예수께서 그 능력이 자기에게서 나간 줄을 곧 스스로 아시고 무리 가운데서 돌이켜 말씀하시되 누가 내 옷에 손을 대었느냐 하시니
5:31 His disciples said to him, "You see the multitude pressing against you, and you say, 'Who touched me?'"
5:31 제자들이 여짜오되 무리가 에워싸 미는 것을 보시며 누가 내게 손을 대었느냐 물으시나이까 하되
5:32 He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
5:32 예수께서 이 일 행한 여자를 보려고 둘러 보시니
5:33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
5:33 여자가 제게 이루어진 일을 알고 두려워하여 떨며 와서 그 앞에 엎드려 모든 사실을 여짜온대
5:34 He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease."
5:34 예수께서 가라사대 딸아 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라 네 병에서 놓여 건강할지어다
5:35 While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler's house saying, "Your daughter is dead. Why bother the Teacher any more?"
5:35 ○ 아직 말씀하실 때에 회당장의 집에서 사람들이 와서 가로되 당신의 딸이 죽었나이다 어찌하여 선생을 더 괴롭게 하나이까
5:36 But Jesus, when he heard the message spoken, immediately said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Don't be afraid, only believe."
5:36 예수께서 그 하는 말을 곁에서 들으시고 회당장에게 이르시되 두려워 말고 믿기만 하라 하시고
5:37 He allowed no one to follow him, except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
5:37 베드로와 야고보와 야고보의 형제 요한 외에 아무도 따라옴을 허치 아니하시고
5:38 He came to the synagogue ruler's house, and he saw an uproar, weeping, and great wailing.
5:38 회당장의 집에 함께 가사 훤화함과 사람들의 울며 심히 통곡함을 보시고
5:39 When he had entered in, he said to them, "Why do you make an uproar and weep? The child is not dead, but is asleep."
5:39 들어가서 저희에게 이르시되 너희가 어찌하여 훤화하며 우느냐 이 아이가 죽은 것이 아니라 잔다 하시니
5:40 They ridiculed him. But he, having put them all out, took the father of the child, her mother, and those who were with him, and went in where the child was lying.
5:40 저희가 비웃더라 예수께서 저희를 다 내어 보내신 후에 아이의 부모와 또 자기와 함께 한 자들을 데리시고 아이 있는 곳에 들어가사
5:41 Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, "Talitha cumi!" which means, being interpreted, "Girl, I tell you, get up!"
5:41 그 아이의 손을 잡고 가라사대 달리다굼 하시니 번역하면 곧 소녀야 내가 네게 말하노니 일어나라 하심이라
5:42 Immediately the girl rose up and walked, for she was twelve years old. They were amazed with great amazement.
5:42 소녀가 곧 일어나서 걸으니 나이 열 두 살이라 사람들이 곧 크게 놀라고 놀라거늘
5:43 He strictly ordered them that no one should know this, and commanded that something should be given to her to eat.
5:43 예수께서 이 일을 아무도 알지 못하게 하라고 저희를 많이 경계하시고 이에 소녀에게 먹을 것을 주라 하시니라
6:1 He went out from there. He came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.
6:1 예수께서 거기를 떠나사 고향으로 가시니 제자들도 좇으니라
6:2 When the Sabbath had come, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing him were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things?" and, "What is the wisdom that is given to this man, that such mighty works come about by his hands?
6:2 안식일이 되어 회당에서 가르치시니 많은 사람이 듣고 놀라 가로되 이 사람이 어디서 이런 것을 얻었느뇨 이 사람의 받은 지혜와 그 손으로 이루어지는 이런 권능이 어찌 됨이뇨
6:3 Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judah, and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" They were offended at him.
6:3 이 사람이 마리아의 아들 목수가 아니냐 야고보와 요셉과 유다와 시몬의 형제가 아니냐 그 누이들이 우리와 함께 여기 있지 아니하냐 하고 예수를 배척한지라
6:4 Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own relatives, and in his own house."
6:4 예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 선지자가 자기 고향과 자기 친척과 자기 집 외에서는 존경을 받지 않음이 없느니라 하시며
6:5 He could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people, and healed them.
6:5 거기서는 아무 권능도 행하실 수 없어 다만 소수의 병인에게 안수하여 고치실 뿐이었고
6:6 He marveled because of their unbelief. He went around the villages teaching.
6:6 저희의 믿지 않음을 이상히 여기셨더라 ○ 이에 모든 촌에 두루 다니시며 가르치시더라
6:7 He called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits.
6:7 ○ 열 두 제자를 부르사 둘씩 둘씩 보내시며 더러운 귀신을 제어하는 권세를 주시고
6:8 He commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse,
6:8 명하시되 여행을 위하여 지팡이 외에는 양식이나 주머니나 전대의 돈이나 아무 것도 가지지 말며
6:9 but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.
6:9 신만 신고 두 벌 옷도 입지 말라 하시고
6:10 He said to them, "Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there.
6:10 또 가라사대 어디서든지 뉘 집에 들어가거든 그곳을 떠나기까지 거기 유하라
6:11 Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!"
6:11 어느 곳에서든지 너희를 영접지 아니하고 너희 말을 듣지도 아니하거든 거기서 나갈 때에 발 아래 먼지를 떨어버려 저희에게 증거를 삼으라 하시니
6:12 They went out and preached that people should repent.
6:12 제자들이 나가서 회개하라 전파하고
6:13 They cast out many demons, and anointed many with oil who were sick, and healed them.
6:13 많은 귀신을 쫓아내며 많은 병인에게 기름을 발라 고치더라
6:14 King Herod heard this, for his name had become known, and he said, "John the Baptizer has risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him."
6:14 ○ 이에 예수의 이름이 드러난지라 헤롯 왕이 듣고 가로되 이는 세례 요한이 죽은 자 가운데서 살아났도다 그러므로 이런 능력이 그 속에서 운동하느니라 하고
6:15 But others said, "He is Elijah." Others said, "He is a prophet, or like one of the prophets."
6:15 어떤 이는 이가 엘리야라 하고 또 어떤 이는 이가 선지자니 옛 선지자 중의 하나와 같다 하되
6:16 But Herod, when he heard this, said, "This is John, whom I beheaded. He has risen from the dead."
6:16 헤롯은 듣고 가로되 내가 목 베인 요한 그가 살아났다 하더라
6:17 For Herod himself had sent out and arrested John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, for he had married her.
6:17 전에 헤롯이 자기가 동생 빌립의 아내 헤로디아에게 장가 든 고로 이 여자를 위하여 사람을 보내어 요한을 잡아 옥에 가두었으니
6:18 For John said to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife."
6:18 이는 요한이 헤롯에게 말하되 동생의 아내를 취한 것이 옳지 않다 하였음이라
6:19 Herodias set herself against him, and desired to kill him, but she couldn't,
6:19 헤로디아가 요한을 원수로 여겨 죽이고자 하였으되 하지 못한 것은
6:20 for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. When he heard him, he did many things, and he heard him gladly.
6:20 헤롯이 요한을 의롭고 거룩한 사람으로 알고 두려워하여 보호하며 또 그의 말을 들을 때에 크게 번민을 느끼면서도 달게 들음이러라
6:21 Then a convenient day came, that Herod on his birthday made a supper for his nobles, the high officers, and the chief men of Galilee.
6:21 마침 기회 좋은 날이 왔으니 곧 헤롯이 자기 생일에 대신들과 천부장들과 갈릴리의 귀인들로 더불어 잔치할쌔
6:22 When the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those sitting with him. The king said to the young lady, "Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you."
6:22 헤로디아의 딸이 친히 들어와 춤을 추어 헤롯과 및 함께 앉은 자들을 기쁘게 한지라 왕이 그 여아에게 이르되 무엇이든지 너 원하는 것을 내게 구하라 내가 주리라 하고
6:23 He swore to her, "Whatever you shall ask of me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom."
6:23 또 맹세하되 무엇이든지 네가 내게 구하면 내 나라의 절반까지라도 주리라 하거늘
6:24 She went out, and said to her mother, "What shall I ask?" She said, "The head of John the Baptizer."
6:24 저가 나가서 그 어미에게 말하되 내가 무엇을 구하리이까 그 어미가 가로되 세례 요한의 머리를 구하라 하니
6:25 She came in immediately with haste to the king, and asked, "I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptizer on a platter."
6:25 저가 곧 왕에게 급히 들어가 구하여 가로되 세례 요한의 머리를 소반에 담아 곧 내게 주기를 원하옵나이다 한대
6:26 The king was exceedingly sorry, but for the sake of his oaths, and of his dinner guests, he didn't wish to refuse her.
6:26 왕이 심히 근심하나 자기의 맹세한 것과 그 앉은 자들을 인하여 저를 거절할 수 없는지라
6:27 Immediately the king sent out a soldier of his guard, and commanded to bring John's head, and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
6:27 왕이 곧 시위병 하나를 보내어 요한의 머리를 가져오라 명하니 그 사람이 나가 옥에서 요한을 목 베어
6:28 and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the young lady; and the young lady gave it to her mother.
6:28 그 머리를 소반에 담아다가 여아에게 주니 여아가 이것을 그 어미에게 주니라
6:29 When his disciples heard this, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.
6:29 요한의 제자들이 듣고 와서 시체를 가져다가 장사하니라
6:30 The apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus, and they told him all things, whatever they had done, and whatever they had taught.
6:30 ○ 사도들이 예수께 모여 자기들의 행한 것과 가르친 것을 낱낱이 고하니
6:31 He said to them, "You come apart into a deserted place, and rest awhile." For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
6:31 이르시되 너희는 따로 한적한 곳에 와서 잠간 쉬어라 하시니 이는 오고 가는 사람이 많아 음식 먹을 겨를도 없음이라
6:32 They went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.
6:32 이에 배를 타고 따로 한적한 곳에 갈쌔
6:33 They saw them going, and many recognized him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to him.
6:33 그 가는 것을 보고 많은 사람이 저희인 줄 안지라 모든 고을로부터 도보로 그곳에 달려와 저희보다 먼저 갔더라
6:34 Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.
6:34 예수께서 나오사 큰 무리를 보시고 그 목자 없는 양 같음을 인하여 불쌍히 여기사 이에 여러 가지로 가르치시더라
6:35 When it was late in the day, his disciples came to him, and said, "This place is deserted, and it is late in the day.
6:35 때가 저물어가매 제자들이 예수께 나아와 여짜오되 이곳은 빈 들이요 때도 저물어가니
6:36 Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages, and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat."
6:36 무리를 보내어 두루 촌과 마을로 가서 무엇을 사 먹게 하옵소서
6:37 But he answered them, "You give them something to eat." They asked him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give them something to eat?"
6:37 대답하여 가라사대 너희가 먹을 것을 주라 하시니 여짜오되 우리가 가서 이백 데나리온의 떡을 사다 먹이리이까
6:38 He said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go see." When they knew, they said, "Five, and two fish."
6:38 이르시되 너희에게 떡 몇 개나 있느냐 가서 보라 하시니 알아보고 가로되 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리가 있더이다 하거늘
6:39 He commanded them that everyone should sit down in groups on the green grass.
6:39 제자들을 명하사 그 모든 사람으로 떼를 지어 푸른 잔디 위에 앉게 하시니
6:40 They sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties.
6:40 떼로 혹 백씩, 혹 오십씩 앉은지라
6:41 He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his disciples to set before them, and he divided the two fish among them all.
6:41 예수께서 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지사 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고 떡을 떼어 제자들에게 주어 사람들 앞에 놓게 하시고 또 물고기 두 마리도 모든 사람에게 나누어 주시매
6:42 They all ate, and were filled.
6:42 다 배불리 먹고
6:43 They took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and also of the fish.
6:43 남은 떡 조각과 물고기를 열 두 바구니에 차게 거두었으며
6:44 Those who ate the loaves were* five thousand men.
6:44 떡을 먹은 남자가 오천 명이었더라
6:45 Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away.
6:45 ○ 예수께서 즉시 제자들을 재촉하사 자기가 무리를 보내는 동안에 배 타고 앞서 건너편 벳새다로 가게 하시고
6:46 After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray.
6:46 무리를 작별하신 후에 기도하러 산으로 가시다
6:47 When evening had come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he was alone on the land.
6:47 저물매 배는 바다 가운데 있고 예수는 홀로 뭍에 계시다가
6:48 Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea,* and he would have passed by them,
6:48 바람이 거스리므로 제자들의 괴로이 노 젓는 것을 보시고 밤 사경 즈음에 바다 위로 걸어서 저희에게 오사 지나가려고 하시매
6:49 but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;
6:49 제자들이 그의 바다 위로 걸어 오심을 보고 유령인가 하여 소리 지르니
6:50 for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and said to them, "Cheer up! It is I! Don't be afraid."
6:50 저희가 다 예수를 보고 놀람이라 이에 예수께서 곧 더불어 말씀하여 가라사대 안심하라 내니 두려워 말라 하시고
6:51 He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled;
6:51 배에 올라 저희에게 가시니 바람이 그치는지라 제자들이 마음에 심히 놀라니
6:52 for they hadn't understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.
6:52 이는 저희가 그 떡 떼시던 일을 깨닫지 못하고 도리어 그 마음이 둔하여졌음이러라
6:53 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore.
6:53 ○ 건너가 게네사렛 땅에 이르러 대고
6:54 When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him,
6:54 배에서 내리니 사람들이 곧 예수신 줄을 알고
6:55 and ran around that whole region, and began to bring those who were sick, on their mats, to where they heard he was.
6:55 그 온 지방으로 달려 돌아다니며 예수께서 어디 계시단 말을 듣는 대로 병든 자를 침상채로 메고 나아오니
6:56 Wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch just the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched him were made well.
6:56 아무 데나 예수께서 들어가시는 마을이나 도시나 촌에서 병자를 시장에 두고 예수의 옷 가에라도 손을 대게 하시기를 간구하니 손을 대는 자는 다 성함을 얻으니라
7:1 Then the Pharisees, and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem.
7:1 바리새인들과 또 서기관 중 몇이 예루살렘에서 와서 예수께 모였다가
7:2 Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed, hands, they found fault.
7:2 그의 제자 중 몇 사람의 부정한 손 곧 씻지 아니한 손으로 떡 먹는 것을 보았더라
7:3 (For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, don't eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.
7:3 {바리새인들과 모든 유대인들이 장로들의 유전을 지키어 손을 부지런히 씻지 않으면 먹지 아니하며
7:4 They don't eat when they come from the marketplace, unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things, which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)
7:4 또 시장에서 돌아와서는 물을 뿌리지 않으면 먹지 아니하며 그 외에도 여러 가지를 지키어 오는 것이 있으니 잔과 주발과 놋그릇을 씻음이러라}
7:5 The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why don't your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?"
7:5 이에 바리새인들과 서기관들이 예수께 묻되 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 장로들의 유전을 준행치 아니하고 부정한 손으로 떡을 먹나이까
7:6 He answered them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7:6 가라사대 이사야가 너희 외식하는 자에 대하여 잘 예언하였도다 기록하였으되 이 백성이 입술로는 나를 존경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다
7:7 But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'*
7:7 사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라
7:8 For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men--the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things."
7:8 너희가 하나님의 계명은 버리고 사람의 유전을 지키느니라
7:9 He said to them, "Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
7:9 또 가라사대 너희가 너희 유전을 지키려고 하나님의 계명을 잘 저버리는도다
7:10 For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother;'* and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'*
7:10 모세는 네 부모를 공경하라 하고 또 아비나 어미를 훼방하는 자는 반드시 죽으리라 하였거늘
7:11 But you say, 'If a man tells his father or his mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban, that is to say, given to God;"'
7:11 너희는 가로되 사람이 아비에게나 어미에게나 말하기를 내가 드려 유익하게 할 것이 고르반 곧 하나님께 드림이 되었다고 하기만 하면 그만이라 하고
7:12 then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
7:12 제 아비나 어미에게 다시 아무 것이라도 하여 드리기를 허하지 아니하여
7:13 making void the word of God by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this."
7:13 너희의 전한 유전으로 하나님의 말씀을 폐하며 또 이같은 일을 많이 행하느니라 하시고
7:14 He called all the multitude to himself, and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand.
7:14 무리를 다시 불러 이르시되 너희는 다 내 말을 듣고 깨달으라
7:15 There is nothing from outside of the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
7:15 무엇이든지 밖에서 사람에게로 들어가는 것은 능히 사람을 더럽게 하지 못하되
7:16 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!"
7:16 사람 안에서 나오는 것이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이니라 하시고
7:17 When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.
7:17 무리를 떠나 집으로 들어가시니 제자들이 그 비유를 묻자온대
7:18 He said to them, "Are you thus without understanding also? Don't you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can't defile him,
7:18 예수께서 이르시되 너희도 이렇게 깨달음이 없느냐 무엇이든지 밖에서 들어가는 것이 능히 사람을 더럽게 하지 못함을 알지 못하느냐
7:19 because it doesn't go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, thus purifying all foods?"
7:19 이는 마음에 들어가지 아니하고 배에 들어가 뒤로 나감이니라 하심으로 모든 식물을 깨끗하다 하셨느니라
7:20 He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
7:20 또 가라사대 사람에게서 나오는 그것이 사람을 더럽게 하느니라
7:21 For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,
7:21 속에서 곧 사람의 마음에서 나오는 것은 악한 생각 곧 음란과 도적질과 살인과
7:22 covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
7:22 간음과 탐욕과 악독과 속임과 음탕과 흘기는 눈과 훼방과 교만과 광패니
7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."
7:23 이 모든 악한 것이 다 속에서 나와서 사람을 더럽게 하느니라
7:24 From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn't want anyone to know it, but he couldn't escape notice.
7:24 ○ 예수께서 일어나사 거기를 떠나 두로 지경으로 가서 한 집에 들어가 아무도 모르게 하시려하나 숨길 수 없더라
7:25 For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
7:25 이에 더러운 귀신 들린 어린 딸을 둔 한 여자가 예수의 소문을 듣고 곧 와서 그 발 아래 엎드리니
7:26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
7:26 그 여자는 헬라인이요 수로보니게 족속이라 자기 딸에게서 귀신 쫓아 주시기를 간구하거늘
7:27 But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
7:27 예수께서 이르시되 자녀로 먼저 배불리 먹게 할지니 자녀의 떡을 취하여 개들에게 던짐이 마땅치 아니하니라
7:28 But she answered him, "Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
7:28 여자가 대답하여 가로되 주여 옳소이다마는 상 아래 개들도 아이들의 먹던 부스러기를 먹나이다
7:29 He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
7:29 예수께서 가라사대 이 말을 하였으니 돌아가라 귀신이 네 딸에게서 나갔느니라 하시매
7:30 She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
7:30 여자가 집에 돌아가 본즉 아이가 침상에 누웠고 귀신이 나갔더라
7:31 Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the region of Decapolis.
7:31 ○ 예수께서 다시 두로 지경에서 나와 시돈을 지나고 데가볼리 지경을 통과하여 갈릴리 호수에 이르시매
7:32 They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.
7:32 사람들이 귀 먹고 어눌한 자를 데리고 예수께 나아와 안수하여 주시기를 간구하거늘
7:33 He took him aside from the multitude, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.
7:33 예수께서 그 사람을 따로 데리고 무리를 떠나사 손가락을 그의 양 귀에 넣고 침 뱉아 그의 혀에 손을 대시며
7:34 Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha!" that is, "Be opened!"
7:34 하늘을 우러러 탄식하시며 그에게 이르시되 에바다 하시니 이는 열리라는 뜻이라
7:35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
7:35 그의 귀가 열리고 혀의 맺힌 것이 곧 풀려 말이 분명하더라
7:36 He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
7:36 예수께서 저희에게 경계하사 아무에게라도 이르지 말라 하시되 경계하실수록 저희가 더욱 널리 전파하니
7:37 They were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak!"
7:37 사람들이 심히 놀라 가로되 그가 다 잘하였도다 귀머거리도 듣게 하고 벙어리도 말하게 한다 하니라
8:1 In those days, when there was a very great multitude, and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to himself, and said to them,
8:1 그 즈음에 또 큰 무리가 있어 먹을 것이 없는지라 예수께서 제자들을 불러 이르시되
8:2 have compassion on the multitude, because they have stayed with me now three days, and have nothing to eat.
8:2 내가 무리를 불쌍히 여기노라 저희가 나와 함께 있은 지 이미 사흘이매 먹을 것이 없도다
8:3 If I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way, for some of them have come a long way."
8:3 만일 내가 저희를 굶겨 집으로 보내면 길에서 기진하리라 그 중에는 멀리서 온 사람도 있느니라
8:4 His disciples answered him, "From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?"
8:4 제자들이 대답하되 이 광야에서 어디서 떡을 얻어 이 사람들로 배부르게 할 수 있으리이까
8:5 He asked them, "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven."
8:5 예수께서 물으시되 너희에게 떡 몇 개나 있느냐 가로되 일곱이로소이다 하거늘
8:6 He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them, and gave them to his disciples to serve, and they served the multitude.
8:6 예수께서 무리를 명하사 땅에 앉게 하시고 떡 일곱 개를 가지사 축사하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주어 그 앞에 놓게 하시니 제자들이 무리 앞에 놓더라
8:7 They had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also.
8:7 또 작은 생선 두어 마리가 있는지라 이에 축복하시고 명하사 이것도 그 앞에 놓게 하시니
8:8 They ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
8:8 배불리 먹고 남은 조각 일곱 광주리를 거두었으며
8:9 Those who had eaten were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.
8:9 사람은 약 사천 명이었더라 예수께서 저희를 흩어 보내시고
8:10 Immediately he entered into the boat with his disciples, and came into the region of Dalmanutha.
8:10 곧 제자들과 함께 배에 오르사 달마누다 지방으로 가시니라
8:11 The Pharisees came out and began to question him, seeking from him a sign from heaven, and testing him.
8:11 ○ 바리새인들이 나와서 예수께 힐난하며 그를 시험하여 하늘로서 오는 표적을 구하거늘
8:12 He sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Most certainly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation."
8:12 예수께서 마음 속에 깊이 탄식하시며 가라사대 어찌하여 이 세대가 표적을 구하느냐 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 세대에게 표적을 주시지 아니하리라 하시고
8:13 He left them, and again entering into the boat, departed to the other side.
8:13 저희를 떠나 다시 배에 올라 건너편으로 가시니라
8:14 They forgot to take bread; and they didn't have more than one loaf in the boat with them.
8:14 ○ 제자들이 떡 가져오기를 잊었으매 배에 떡 한 개 밖에 저희에게 없더라
8:15 He warned them, saying, "Take heed: beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod."
8:15 예수께서 경계하여 가라사대 삼가 바리새인들의 누룩과 헤롯의 누룩을 주의하라 하신대
8:16 They reasoned with one another, saying, "It's because we have no bread."
8:16 제자들이 서로 의논하기를 이는 우리에게 떡이 없음이로다 하거늘
8:17 Jesus, perceiving it, said to them, "Why do you reason that it's because you have no bread? Don't you perceive yet, neither understand? Is your heart still hardened?
8:17 예수께서 아시고 이르시되 너희가 어찌 떡이 없음으로 의논하느냐 아직도 알지 못하며 깨닫지 못하느냐 너희 마음이 둔하냐
8:18 Having eyes, don't you see? Having ears, don't you hear? Don't you remember?
8:18 너희가 눈이 있어도 보지 못하며 귀가 있어도 듣지 못하느냐 또 기억지 못하느냐
8:19 When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" They told him, "Twelve."
8:19 내가 떡 다섯 개를 오천 명에게 떼어 줄 때에 조각 몇 바구니를 거두었더냐 가로되 열 둘이니이다
8:20 When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" They told him, "Seven."
8:20 또 일곱 개를 사천 명에게 떼어 줄 때에 조각 몇 광주리를 거두었더냐 가로되 일곱이니이다
8:21 He asked them, "Don't you understand, yet?"
8:21 가라사대 아직도 깨닫지 못하느냐 하시니라
8:22 He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him, and begged him to touch him.
8:22 ○ 벳새다에 이르매 사람들이 소경 하나를 데리고 예수께 나아와 손 대시기를 구하거늘
8:23 He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.
8:23 예수께서 소경의 손을 붙드시고 마을 밖으로 데리고 나가사 눈에 침을 뱉으시며 그에게 안수하시고 무엇이 보이느냐 물으시니
8:24 He looked up, and said, "I see men; for I see them like trees walking."
8:24 우러러보며 가로되 사람들이 보이나이다 나무 같은 것들의 걸어 가는 것을 보나이다 하거늘
8:25 Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He looked intently, and was restored, and saw everyone clearly.
8:25 이에 그 눈에 다시 안수하시매 저가 주목하여 보더니 나아서 만물을 밝히 보는지라
8:26 He sent him away to his house, saying, "Don't enter into the village, nor tell anyone in the village."
8:26 예수께서 그 사람을 집으로 보내시며 가라사대 마을에도 들어가지 말라 하시니라
8:27 Jesus went out, with his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples, "Who do men say that I am?"
8:27 ○ 예수와 제자들이 가이사랴 빌립보 여러 마을로 나가실쌔 노중에서 제자들에게 물어 가라사대 사람들이 나를 누구라고 하느냐
8:28 They told him, "John the Baptizer, and others say Elijah, but others: one of the prophets."
8:28 여짜와 가로되 세례 요한이라 하고 더러는 엘리야, 더러는 선지자 중의 하나라 하나이다
8:29 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Christ."
8:29 또 물으시되 너희는 나를 누구라 하느냐 베드로가 대답하여 가로되 주는 그리스도시니이다 하매
8:30 He commanded them that they should tell no one about him.
8:30 이에 자기의 일을 아무에게도 말하지 말라 경계하시고
8:31 He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
8:31 인자가 많은 고난을 받고 장로들과 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 버린 바 되어 죽임을 당하고 사흘 만에 살아나야 할 것을 비로소 저희에게 가르치시되
8:32 He spoke to them openly. Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
8:32 드러내 놓고 이 말씀을 하시니 베드로가 예수를 붙들고 간하매
8:33 But he, turning around, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said, "Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men."
8:33 예수께서 돌이키사 제자들을 보시며 베드로를 꾸짖어 가라사대 사단아 내 뒤로 물러가라 네가 하나님의 일을 생각지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는도다 하시고
8:34 He called the multitude to himself with his disciples, and said to them, "Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
8:34 무리와 제자들을 불러 이르시되 아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라
8:35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
8:35 누구든지 제 목숨을 구원코자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나와 복음을 위하여 제 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라
8:36 For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?
8:36 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 제 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요
8:37 For what will a man give in exchange for his life?
8:37 사람이 무엇을 주고 제 목숨을 바꾸겠느냐
8:38 For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."
8:38 누구든지 이 음란하고 죄 많은 세대에서 나와 내 말을 부끄러워하면 인자도 아버지의 영광으로 거룩한 천사들과 함께 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라
