15:1 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said, "I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
15:1 이때에 모세와 이스라엘 자손이 이 노래로 야훼께 노래하니 일렀으되 내가 야훼를 찬송하리니 그는 높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다
15:2 Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
15:2 야훼는 나의 힘이요 노래시며 나의 구원이시로다 그는 나의 하나님이시니 내가 그를 찬송할 것이요 내 아비의 하나님이시니 내가 그를 높이리로다
15:3 Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.
15:3 야훼는 용사시니 야훼는 그의 이름이시로다
15:4 He has cast Pharaoh's chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.
15:4 그가 바로의 병거와 그 군대를 바다에 던지시니 그 택한 장관이 홍해에 잠겼고
15:5 The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.
15:5 큰 물이 그들을 덮으니 그들이 돌처럼 깊음에 내렸도다
15:6 Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.
15:6 야훼여 주의 오른손이 권능으로 영광을 나타내시니이다 야훼여 주의 오른손이 원수를 부수시니이다
15:7 In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send forth your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.
15:7 주께서 주의 큰 위엄으로 주를 거스리는 자를 엎으시나이다 주께서 진노를 발하시니 그 진노가 그들을 초개 같이 사르니이다
15:8 With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.
15:8 주의 콧김에 물이 쌓이되 파도가 언덕 같이 일어서고 큰 물이 바다 가운데 엉기니이다
15:9 The enemy said, 'I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the spoil. My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.'
15:9 대적의 말이 내가 쫓아 미쳐 탈취물을 나누리라 내가 그들로 인하여 내 마음을 채우리라 내가 내 칼을 빼리니 내 손이 그들을 멸하리라 하였으나
15:10 You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
15:10 주께서 주의 바람을 일으키시매 바다가 그들을 덮으니 그들이 흉용한 물에 납 같이 잠겼나이다
15:11 Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
15:11 야훼여 신 중에 주와 같은 자 누구니이까 주와 같이 거룩함에 영광스러우며 찬송할 만한 위엄이 있으며 기이한 일을 행하는 자 누구니이까
15:12 You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.
15:12 주께서 오른손을 드신즉 땅이 그들을 삼켰나이다
15:13 You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.
15:13 주께서 그 구속하신 백성을 은혜로 인도하시되 주의 힘으로 그들을 주의 성결한 처소에 들어가게 하시나이다
15:14 The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.
15:14 열방이 듣고 떨며 블레셋 거민이 두려움에 잡히며
15:15 Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan are melted away.
15:15 에돔 방백이 놀라고 모압 영웅이 떨림에 잡히며 가나안 거민이 다 낙담하나이다
15:16 Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone-- until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people pass over who you have purchased.
15:16 놀람과 두려움이 그들에게 미치매 주의 팔이 큼을 인하여 그들이 돌 같이 고요하였사오되 야훼여 주의 백성이 통과하기까지 곧 주의 사신 백성이 통과하기까지였나이다
15:17 You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in; the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.
15:17 주께서 백성을 인도하사 그들을 주의 기업의 산에 심으시리이다 야훼여 이는 주의 처소를 삼으시려고 예비하신 것이라 주여 이것이 주의 손으로 세우신 성소로소이다
15:18 Yahweh shall reign forever and ever."
15:18 야훼의 다스리심이 영원무궁하시도다 하였더라
15:19 For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Yahweh brought back the waters of the sea on them; but the children of Israel walked on dry land in the midst of the sea.
15:19 ○ 바로의 말과 병거와 마병이 함께 바다에 들어가매 야훼께서 바닷물로 그들 위에 돌이켜 흐르게 하셨으나 이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데서 육지로 행한지라
15:20 Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.
15:20 아론의 누이 선지자 미리암이 손에 소고를 잡으매 모든 여인도 그를 따라 나오며 소고를 잡고 춤추니
15:21 Miriam answered them, "Sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea."
15:21 미리암이 그들에게 화답하여 가로되 너희는 야훼를 찬송하라 그는 높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다 하였더라
15:22 Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
15:22 ○ 모세가 홍해에서 이스라엘을 인도하매 그들이 나와서 수르 광야로 들어가서 거기서 사흘 길을 행하였으나 물을 얻지 못하고
15:23 When they came to Marah, they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah.
15:23 마라에 이르렀더니 그 곳 물이 써서 마시지 못하겠으므로 그 이름을 마라라 하였더라
15:24 The people murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"
15:24 백성이 모세를 대하여 원망하여 가로되 우리가 무엇을 마실까 하매
15:25 Then he cried to Yahweh. Yahweh showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them;
15:25 모세가 야훼께 부르짖었더니 야훼께서 그에게 한 나무를 지시하시니 그가 물에 던지매 물이 달아졌더라 거기서 야훼께서 그들을 위하여 법도와 율례를 정하시고 그들을 시험하실새
15:26 and he said, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."
15:26 가라사대 너희가 너희 하나님 나 야훼의 말을 청종하고 나의 보기에 의를 행하며 내 계명에 귀를 기울이며 내 모든 규례를 지키면 내가 애굽 사람에게 내린 모든 질병의 하나도 너희에게 내리지 아니하리니 나는 너희를 치료하는 야훼임이니라
15:27 They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
15:27 ○ 그들이 엘림에 이르니 거기 물샘 열 둘과 종려 칠십 주가 있는지라 거기서 그들이 그 물 곁에 장막을 치니라
16:1 They took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
16:1 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 엘림에서 떠나 엘림과 시내 산 사이 신 광야에 이르니 애굽에서 나온 후 제 이 월 십 오 일이라
16:2 The whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness;
16:2 이스라엘 온 회중이 그 광야에서 모세와 아론을 원망하여
16:3 and the children of Israel said to them, "We wish that we had died by the hand of Yahweh in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots, when we ate our fill of bread, for you have brought us out into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger."
16:3 그들에게 이르되 우리가 애굽 땅에서 고기 가마 곁에 앉았던 때와 떡을 배불리 먹던 때에 야훼의 손에 죽었더면 좋았을 것을 너희가 이 광야로 우리를 인도하여 내어 이 온 회중으로 주려 죽게 하는도다
16:4 Then Yahweh said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from the sky for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law, or not.
16:4 ○ 때에 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 보라 내가 너희를 위하여 하늘에서 양식을 비 같이 내리리니 백성이 나가서 일용할 것을 날마다 거둘 것이라 이같이 하여 그들이 나의 율법을 준행하나 아니하나 내가 시험하리라
16:5 It shall come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily."
16:5 제 육 일에는 그들이 그 거둔 것을 예비할지니 날마다 거두던 것의 갑절이 되리라
16:6 Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, "At evening, then you shall know that Yahweh has brought you out from the land of Egypt;
16:6 모세와 아론이 온 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 저녁이 되면 너희가 야훼께서 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내셨음을 알 것이요
16:7 and in the morning, then you shall see the glory of Yahweh; because he hears your murmurings against Yahweh. Who are we, that you murmur against us?"
16:7 아침에는 너희가 야훼의 영광을 보리니 이는 야훼께서 너희가 자기를 향하여 원망함을 들으셨음이라 우리가 누구관대 너희가 우리를 대하여 원망하느냐
16:8 Moses said, "Now Yahweh shall give you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to satisfy you; because Yahweh hears your murmurings which you murmur against him. And who are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against Yahweh."
16:8 모세가 또 가로되 야훼께서 저녁에는 너희에게 고기를 주어 먹이시고 아침에는 떡으로 배불리시리니 이는 야훼께서 자기를 향하여 너희의 원망하는 그 말을 들으셨음이니라 우리가 누구냐 너희의 원망은 우리를 향하여 함이 아니요 야훼를 향하여 함이로다
16:9 Moses said to Aaron, "Tell all the congregation of the children of Israel, 'Come near before Yahweh, for he has heard your murmurings.'"
16:9 모세가 또 아론에게 이르되 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 명하기를 야훼께 가까이 나아오라 야훼께서 너희의 원망함을 들으셨느니라 하라
16:10 It happened, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Yahweh appeared in the cloud.
16:10 아론이 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 말하매 그들이 광야를 바라보니 야훼의 영광이 구름 속에 나타나더라
16:11 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
16:11 야훼께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
16:12 have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, 'At evening you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread: and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God.'"
16:12 내가 이스라엘 자손의 원망함을 들었노라 그들에게 고하여 이르기를 너희가 해 질 때에는 고기를 먹고 아침에는 떡으로 배부르리니 나는 야훼 너희의 하나님인 줄 알리라 하라 하시니라
16:13 It happened at evening that quail came up and covered the camp; and in the morning the dew lay around the camp.
16:13 ○ 저녁에는 메추라기가 와서 진에 덮이고 아침에는 이슬이 진 사면에 있더니
16:14 When the dew that lay had gone, behold, on the surface of the wilderness was a small round thing, small as the frost on the ground.
16:14 그 이슬이 마른 후에 광야 지면에 작고 둥글며 서리 같이 세미한 것이 있는지라
16:15 When the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, "What is it?" For they didn't know what it was. Moses said to them, "It is the bread which Yahweh has given you to eat."
16:15 이스라엘 자손이 보고 그것이 무엇인지 알지 못하여 서로 이르되 이것이 무엇이냐 하니 모세가 그들에게 이르되 이는 야훼께서 너희에게 주어 먹게 하신 양식이라
16:16 This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded: “Gather of it everyone according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, you shall take it, every man for those who are in his tent.”
16:16 야훼께서 이같이 명하시기를 너희 각 사람의 식량대로 이것을 거둘지니 곧 너희 인수대로 매명에 한 오멜씩 취하되 각 사람이 그 장막에 있는 자들을 위하여 취할지니라 하셨느니라
16:17 The children of Israel did so, and gathered some more, some less.
16:17 이스라엘 자손이 그같이 하였더니 그 거둔 것이 많기도 하고 적기도 하나
16:18 When they measured it with an omer, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack. They gathered every man according to his eating.
16:18 오멜로 되어 본즉 많이 거둔 자도 남음이 없고 적게 거둔 자도 부족함이 없이 각기 식량대로 거두었더라
16:19 Moses said to them, "Let no one leave of it until the morning."
16:19 모세가 그들에게 이르기를 아무든지 아침까지 그것을 남겨두지 말라 하였으나
16:20 Notwithstanding they didn't listen to Moses, but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul: and Moses was angry with them.
16:20 그들이 모세의 말을 청종치 아니하고 더러는 아침까지 두었더니 벌레가 생기고 냄새가 난지라 모세가 그들에게 노하니라
16:21 They gathered it morning by morning, everyone according to his eating. When the sun grew hot, it melted.
16:21 ○ 무리가 아침마다 각기 식량대로 거두었고 해가 뜨겁게 쪼이면 그것이 스러졌더라
16:22 It happened that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one, and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
16:22 제 육 일에는 각 사람이 갑절의 식물 곧 하나에 두 오멜씩 거둔지라 회중의 모든 두목이 와서 모세에게 고하매
16:23 He said to them, "This is that which Yahweh has spoken, 'Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to Yahweh. Bake that which you want to bake, and boil that which you want to boil; and all that remains over lay up for yourselves to be kept until the morning.'"
16:23 모세가 그들에게 이르되 야훼께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내일은 휴식이니 야훼께 거룩한 안식일이라 너희가 구울 것은 굽고 삶을 것은 삶고 그 나머지는 다 너희를 위하여 아침까지 간수하라
16:24 They laid it up until the morning, as Moses asked, and it didn't become foul, neither was there any worm in it.
16:24 그들이 모세의 명대로 아침까지 간수하였으나 냄새도 나지 아니하고 벌레도 생기지 아니한지라
16:25 Moses said, "Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to Yahweh. Today you shall not find it in the field.
16:25 모세가 가로되 오늘은 그것을 먹으라 오늘은 야훼께 안식일인즉 오늘은 너희가 그것을 들에서 얻지 못하리라
16:26 Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day is the Sabbath. In it there shall be none."
16:26 육 일 동안은 너희가 그것을 거두되 제 칠 일은 안식일인즉 그 날에는 없으리라 하였으나
16:27 It happened on the seventh day, that some of the people went out to gather, and they found none.
16:27 제 칠 일에 백성 중 더러가 거두러 나갔다가 얻지 못하니라
16:28 Yahweh said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
16:28 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 어느 때까지 너희가 내 계명과 내 율법을 지키지 아니하려느냐
16:29 Behold, because Yahweh has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days. Everyone stay in his place. Let no one go out of his place on the seventh day."
16:29 볼지어다 야훼가 너희에게 안식일을 줌으로 제 육 일에는 이틀 양식을 너희에게 주는 것이니 너희는 각기 처소에 있고 제 칠 일에는 아무도 그 처소에서 나오지 말지니라
16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
16:30 그러므로 백성이 제 칠 일에 안식하니라
16:31 The house of Israel called its name Manna, and it was like coriander seed, white; and its taste was like wafers with honey.
16:31 ○ 이스라엘 족속이 그 이름을 만나라 하였으며 깟씨 같고도 희고 맛은 꿀 섞은 과자 같았더라
16:32 Moses said, "This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded, 'Let an omer-full of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.'"
16:32 모세가 가로되 야훼께서 이같이 명하시기를 이것을 오멜에 채워서 너의 대대 후손을 위하여 간수하라 이는 내가 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낼 때에 광야에서 너희에게 먹인 양식을 그들에게 보이기 위함이니라 하셨다 하고
16:33 Moses said to Aaron, "Take a pot, and put an omer-full of manna in it, and lay it up before Yahweh, to be kept throughout your generations."
16:33 또 아론에게 이르되 항아리를 가져다가 그 속에 만나 한 오멜을 담아 야훼 앞에 두어 너희 대대로 간수하라
16:34 As Yahweh commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
16:34 아론이 야훼께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 그것을 증거판 앞에 두어 간수하게 하였고
16:35 The children of Israel ate the manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land. They ate the manna until they came to the borders of the land of Canaan.
16:35 이스라엘 자손이 사람 사는 땅에 이르기까지 사십 년 동안 만나를 먹되 곧 가나안 지경에 이르기까지 그들이 만나를 먹었더라
16:36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.
16:36 오멜은 에바 십분의 일이더라
17:1 All the congregation of the children of Israel traveled from the wilderness of Sin, by their journeys, according to Yahweh's commandment, and encamped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.
17:1 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 야훼의 명령대로 신 광야에서 떠나 그 노정대로 행하여 르비딤에 장막을 쳤으나 백성이 마실 물이 없는지라
17:2 Therefore the people quarreled with Moses, and said, "Give us water to drink." Moses said to them, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test Yahweh?"
17:2 백성이 모세와 다투어 가로되 우리에게 물을 주어 마시게 하라 모세가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 어찌하여 나와 다투느냐 너희가 어찌하여 야훼를 시험하느냐
17:3 The people were thirsty for water there; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?"
17:3 거기서 백성이 물에 갈하매 그들이 모세를 대하여 원망하여 가로되 당신이 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내어서 우리와 우리 자녀와 우리 생축으로 목말라 죽게 하느냐
17:4 Moses cried to Yahweh, saying, "What shall I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me."
17:4 모세가 야훼께 부르짖어 가로되 내가 이 백성에게 어떻게 하리이까 그들이 얼마 아니면 내게 돌질 하겠나이다
17:5 Yahweh said to Moses, "Walk on before the people, and take the elders of Israel with you, and take the rod in your hand with which you struck the Nile, and go.
17:5 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성 앞을 지나가서 이스라엘 장로들을 데리고 하수를 치던 네 지팡이를 손에 잡고 가라
17:6 Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink." Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
17:6 내가 거기서 호렙 산 반석 위에 너를 대하여 서리니 너는 반석을 치라 그것에서 물이 나리니 백성이 마시리라 모세가 이스라엘 장로들의 목전에서 그대로 행하니라
17:7 He called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because the children of Israel quarreled, and because they tested Yahweh, saying, “Is Yahweh among us, or not?”
17:7 그가 그 곳 이름을 맛사라 또는 므리바라 불렀으니 이는 이스라엘 자손이 다투었음이요 또는 그들이 야훼를 시험하여 이르기를 야훼께서 우리 중에 계신가 아닌가 하였음이더라
17:8 Then Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
17:8 ○ 때에 아말렉이 이르러 이스라엘과 르비딤에서 싸우니라
17:9 Moses said to Joshua, "Choose men for us, and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with God's rod in my hand."
17:9 모세가 여호수아에게 이르되 우리를 위하여 사람들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과 싸우라 내일 내가 하나님의 지팡이를 손에 잡고 산 꼭대기에 서리라
17:10 So Joshua did as Moses had told him, and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
17:10 여호수아가 모세의 말대로 행하여 아말렉과 싸우고 모세와 아론과 훌은 산 꼭대기에 올라가서
17:11 It happened, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
17:11 모세가 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더니
17:12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side. His hands were steady until sunset.
17:12 모세의 팔이 피곤하매 그들이 돌을 가져다가 모세의 아래에 놓아 그로 그 위에 앉게 하고 아론과 훌이 하나는 이편에서 하나는 저편에서 모세의 손을 붙들어 올렸더니 그 손이 해가 지도록 내려오지 아니한지라
17:13 Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
17:13 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그 백성을 쳐서 파하니라
17:14 Yahweh said to Moses, "Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky."
17:14 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 이것을 책에 기록하여 기념하게 하고 여호수아의 귀에 외워 들리라 내가 아말렉을 도말하여 천하에서 기억함이 없게 하리라
17:15 Moses built an altar, and called its name Yahweh our Banner.
17:15 모세가 단을 쌓고 그 이름을 야훼 닛시라 하고
17:16 He said, "Yah has sworn: 'Yahweh will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.'"
17:16 가로되 야훼께서 맹세하시기를 야훼가 아말렉으로 더불어 대대로 싸우리라 하셨다 하였더라
18:1 Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, how that Yahweh had brought Israel out of Egypt.
18:1 모세의 장인 미디안 제사장 이드로가 하나님이 모세에게와 자기 백성 이스라엘에게 하신 일 곧 야훼께서 이스라엘을 애굽에서 인도하여 내신 모든 일을 들으니라
18:2 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, received Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her away,
18:2 모세의 장인 이드로가 모세가 돌려 보내었던 그의 아내 십보라와
18:3 and her two sons. The name of one son was Gershom, for Moses said, “I have lived as a foreigner in a foreign land”.
18:3 그 두 아들을 데렸으니 그 하나의 이름은 게르솜이라 이는 모세가 이르기를 내가 이방에서 객이 되었다 함이요
18:4 The name of the other was Eliezer, for he said, “My father’s God was my help and delivered me from Pharaoh’s sword.”
18:4 하나의 이름은 엘리에셀이라 이는 내 아버지의 하나님이 나를 도우사 바로의 칼에서 구원하셨다 함이더라
18:5 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses into the wilderness where he was encamped, at the Mountain of God.
18:5 모세의 장인 이드로가 모세의 아들들과 그 아내로 더불어 광야에 들어와 모세에게 이르니 곧 모세가 하나님의 산에 진 친 곳이라
18:6 He said to Moses, "I, your father-in-law Jethro, have come to you with your wife, and her two sons with her."
18:6 그가 모세에게 전언하되 그대의 장인 나 이드로가 그대의 아내와 그와 함께 한 그 두 아들로 더불어 그대에게 왔노라
18:7 Moses went out to meet his father-in-law, and bowed and kissed him. They asked each other of their welfare, and they came into the tent.
18:7 모세가 나가서 그 장인을 맞아 절하고 그에게 입맞추고 그들이 서로 문안하고 함께 장막에 들어가서
18:8 Moses told his father-in-law all that Yahweh had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardships that had come on them on the way, and how Yahweh delivered them.
18:8 모세가 야훼께서 이스라엘을 위하여 바로와 애굽 사람에게 행하신 모든 일과 길에서 그들의 당한 모든 고난과 야훼께서 그들을 구원하신 일을 다 그 장인에게 고하매
18:9 Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which Yahweh had done to Israel, in that he had delivered them out of the hand of the Egyptians.
18:9 이드로가 야훼께서 이스라엘에게 모든 은혜를 베푸사 애굽 사람의 손에서 구원하심을 기뻐하여
18:10 Jethro said, "Blessed be Yahweh, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh; who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
18:10 가로되 야훼를 찬송하리로다 너희를 애굽 사람의 손에서와 바로의 손에서 건져내시고 백성을 애굽 사람의 손 밑에서 건지셨도다
18:11 Now I know that Yahweh is greater than all gods because of the thing in which they dealt arrogantly against them."
18:11 이제 내가 알았도다 야훼는 모든 신보다 크시므로 이스라엘에게 교만히 행하는 그들을 이기셨도다 하고
18:12 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God. Aaron came with all of the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.
18:12 모세의 장인 이드로가 번제물과 희생을 하나님께 가져오매 아론과 이스라엘 모든 장로가 와서 모세의 장인과 함께 하나님 앞에서 떡을 먹으니라
18:13 It happened on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood around Moses from the morning to the evening.
18:13 ○ 이튿날에 모세가 백성을 재판하느라고 앉았고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지 모세의 곁에 섰는지라
18:14 When Moses' father-in-law saw all that he did to the people, he said, "What is this thing that you do for the people? Why do you sit alone, and all the people stand around you from morning to evening?"
18:14 모세의 장인이 모세가 백성에게 행하는 모든 일을 보고 가로되 그대가 이 백성에게 행하는 이 일이 어찜이뇨 어찌하여 그대는 홀로 앉았고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지 그대의 곁에 섰느뇨
18:15 Moses said to his father-in-law, "Because the people come to me to inquire of God.
18:15 모세가 그 장인에게 대답하되 백성이 하나님께 물으려고 내게로 옴이라
18:16 When they have a matter, they come to me, and I judge between a man and his neighbor, and I make them know the statutes of God, and his laws."
18:16 그들이 일이 있으면 내게로 오나니 내가 그 양편을 판단하여 하나님의 율례와 법도를 알게 하나이다
18:17 Moses' father-in-law said to him, "The thing that you do is not good.
18:17 모세의 장인이 그에게 이르되 그대의 하는 것이 선하지 못하도다
18:18 You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you; for the thing is too heavy for you. You are not able to perform it yourself alone.
18:18 그대와 그대와 함께 한 이 백성이 필연 기력이 쇠하리니 이 일이 그대에게 너무 중함이라 그대가 혼자 할 수 없으리라
18:19 Listen now to my voice. I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You represent the people before God, and bring the causes to God.
18:19 이제 내 말을 들으라 내가 그대에게 방침을 가르치리니 하나님이 그대와 함께 계실지로다 그대는 백성을 위하여 하나님 앞에 있어서 소송을 하나님께 베풀며
18:20 You shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and shall show them the way in which they must walk, and the work that they must do.
18:20 그들에게 율례와 법도를 가르쳐서 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 그들에게 보이고
18:21 Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God: men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
18:21 그대는 또 온 백성 가운데서 재덕이 겸전한 자 곧 하나님을 두려워하며 진실무망하며 불의한 이를 미워하는 자를 빼서 백성 위에 세워 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼아
18:22 Let them judge the people at all times. It shall be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge themselves. So shall it be easier for you, and they shall share the load with you.
18:22 그들로 때를 따라 백성을 재판하게 하라 무릇 큰 일이면 그대에게 베풀 것이고 무릇 작은 일이면 그들이 스스로 재판할 것이니 그리하면 그들이 그대와 함께 담당할 것인즉 일이 그대에게 쉬우리라
18:23 If you will do this thing, and God commands you so, then you will be able to endure, and all of these people also will go to their place in peace."
18:23 그대가 만일 이 일을 하고 하나님께서도 그대에게 인가하시면 그대가 이 일을 감당하고 이 모든 백성도 자기 곳으로 평안히 가리라
18:24 So Moses listened to the voice of his father-in-law, and did all that he had said.
18:24 이에 모세가 자기 장인의 말을 듣고 그 모든 말대로 하여
18:25 Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
18:25 이스라엘 무리 중에서 재덕이 겸전한 자를 빼서 그들로 백성의 두목 곧 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼으매
18:26 They judged the people at all times. They brought the hard causes to Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
18:26 그들이 때를 따라 백성을 재판하되 어려운 일은 모세에게 베풀고 쉬운 일은 자단하더라
18:27 Moses let his father-in-law depart, and he went his way into his own land.
18:27 모세가 그 장인을 보내니 그가 자기 고향으로 돌아가니라
19:1 In the third month after the children of Israel had gone forth out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.
19:1 이스라엘 자손이 애굽 땅에서 나올 때부터 제 삼 월 곧 그때에 그들이 시내 광야에 이르니라
19:2 When they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mountain.
19:2 그들이 르비딤을 떠나 시내 광야에 이르러 그 광야에 장막을 치되 산 앞에 장막을 치니라
19:3 Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, "This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
19:3 모세가 하나님 앞에 올라가니 야훼께서 산에서 그를 불러 가라사대 너는 이같이 야곱 족속에게 이르고 이스라엘 자손에게 고하라
19:4 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings, and brought you to myself.
19:4 나의 애굽 사람에게 어떻게 행하였음과 내가 어떻게 독수리 날개로 너희를 업어 내게로 인도하였음을 너희가 보았느니라
19:5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;
19:5 세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는 열국 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고
19:6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."
19:6 너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을 이스라엘 자손에게 고할지니라
19:7 Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.
19:7 ○ 모세가 와서 백성의 장로들을 불러 야훼께서 자기에게 명하신 그 모든 말씀을 그 앞에 진술하니
19:8 All the people answered together, and said, "All that Yahweh has spoken we will do." Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.
19:8 백성이 일제히 응답하여 가로되 야훼의 명하신 대로 우리가 다 행하리이다 모세가 백성의 말로 야훼께 회보하매
19:9 Yahweh said to Moses, "Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever." Moses told the words of the people to Yahweh.
19:9 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 내가 빽빽한 구름 가운데서 네게 임함은 내가 너와 말하는 것을 백성으로 듣게 하며 또한 너를 영영히 믿게 하려 함이니라 모세가 백성의 말로 야훼께 고하였으므로
19:10 Yahweh said to Moses, "Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,
19:10 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 백성에게로 가서 오늘과 내일 그들을 성결케 하며 그들로 옷을 빨고
19:11 and be ready against the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.
19:11 예비하여 제 삼 일을 기다리게 하라 이는 제 삼 일에 나 야훼가 온 백성의 목전에 시내 산에 강림할 것임이니
19:12 You shall set bounds to the people all around, saying, 'Be careful that you don't go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.
19:12 너는 백성을 위하여 사면으로 지경을 정하고 이르기를 너희는 삼가 산에 오르거나 그 지경을 범하지 말지니 산을 범하는 자는 정녕 죽임을 당할 것이라
19:13 No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether it is animal or man, he shall not live.' When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mountain."
19:13 손을 그에게 댐이 없이 그런 자는 돌에 맞아 죽임을 당하거나 살에 쐬어 죽임을 당하리니 짐승이나 사람을 무론하고 살지 못하리라 나팔을 길게 불거든 산 앞에 이를 것이니라 하라
19:14 Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
19:14 모세가 산에서 내려 백성에게 이르러 백성으로 성결케 하니 그들이 자기 옷을 빨더라
19:15 He said to the people, "Be ready by the third day. Don't have sexual relations with a woman."
19:15 모세가 백성에게 이르되 예비하여 제 삼 일을 기다리고 여인을 가까이 말라 하니라
19:16 It happened on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.
19:16 ○ 제 삼 일 아침에 우뢰와 번개와 빽빽한 구름이 산 위에 있고 나팔 소리가 심히 크니 진중 모든 백성이 다 떨더라
19:17 Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.
19:17 모세가 하나님을 맞으려고 백성을 거느리고 진에서 나오매 그들이 산 기슭에 섰더니
19:18 Mount Sinai, all it, smoked, because Yahweh descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.
19:18 시내 산에 연기가 자욱하니 야훼께서 불 가운데서 거기 강림하심이라 그 연기가 옹기점 연기 같이 떠오르고 온 산이 크게 진동하며
19:19 When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
19:19 나팔 소리가 점점 커질 때에 모세가 말한즉 하나님이 음성으로 대답하시더라
19:20 Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
19:20 야훼께서 시내 산 곧 그 산 꼭대기에 강림하시고 그리로 모세를 부르시니 모세가 올라가매
19:21 Yahweh said to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, lest they break through to Yahweh to gaze, and many of them perish.
19:21 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 내려가서 백성을 신칙하라 백성이 돌파하고 나 야훼께로 와서 보려고 하다가 많이 죽을까 하노라
19:22 Let the priests also, who come near to Yahweh, sanctify themselves, lest Yahweh break forth on them."
19:22 또 야훼께 가까이 하는 제사장들로 그 몸을 성결히 하게 하라 나 야훼가 그들을 돌격할까 하노라
19:23 Moses said to Yahweh, "The people can't come up to Mount Sinai, for you warned us, saying, 'Set bounds around the mountain, and sanctify it.'"
19:23 모세가 야훼께 고하되 주께서 우리에게 명하여 이르시기를 산 사면에 지경을 세워 산을 거룩하게 하라 하셨사온즉 백성이 시내 산에 오르지 못하리이다
19:24 Yahweh said to him, "Go down and you shall bring Aaron up with you, but don't let the priests and the people break through to come up to Yahweh, lest he break forth on them."
19:24 야훼께서 그에게 이르시되 가라 너는 내려가서 아론과 함께 올라오고 제사장들과 백성에게는 돌파하고 나 야훼에게로 올라오지 못하게 하라 내가 그들을 돌격할까 하노라
19:25 So Moses went down to the people, and told them.
19:25 모세가 백성에게 내려가서 그들에게 고하니라
20:1 God spoke all these words, saying,
20:1 하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 일러 가라사대
20:2 am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
20:2 나는 너를 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 너의 하나님 야훼로라
20:3 You shall have no other gods before me.
20:3 너는 나 외에는 다른 신들을 네게 있게 말지니라
20:4 You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
20:4 ○ 너를 위하여 새긴 우상을 만들지 말고 또 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나 아래로 땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 물 속에 있는 것의 아무 형상이든지 만들지 말며
20:5 you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,
20:5 그것들에게 절하지 말며 그것들을 섬기지 말라 나 야훼 너의 하나님은 질투하는 하나님인즉 나를 미워하는 자의 죄를 갚되 아비로부터 아들에게로 삼, 사 대까지 이르게 하거니와
20:6 and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
20:6 나를 사랑하고 내 계명을 지키는 자에게는 천 대까지 은혜를 베푸느니라
20:7 You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
20:7 ○ 너는 너의 하나님 야훼의 이름을 망령되이 일컫지 말라 나 야훼는 나의 이름을 망령되이 일컫는 자를 죄 없다 하지 아니하리라
20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:8 ○ 안식일을 기억하여 거룩히 지키라
20:9 You shall labor six days, and do all your work,
20:9 엿새 동안은 힘써 네 모든 일을 행할 것이나
20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates;
20:10 제 칠 일은 너의 하나님 야훼의 안식일인즉 너나 네 아들이나 네 딸이나 네 남종이나 네 여종이나 네 육축이나 네 문안에 유하는 객이라도 아무 일도 하지 말라
20:11 for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.
20:11 이는 엿새 동안에 나 야훼가 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그 가운데 모든 것을 만들고 제 칠 일에 쉬었음이라 그러므로 나 야훼가 안식일을 복되게 하여 그 날을 거룩하게 하였느니라
20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
20:12 ○ 네 부모를 공경하라 그리하면 너의 하나님 나 야훼가 네게 준 땅에서 네 생명이 길리라
20:13 You shall not murder.
20:13 ○ 살인하지 말지니라
20:14 You shall not commit adultery.
20:14 ○ 간음하지 말지니라
20:15 You shall not steal.
20:15 ○ 도적질하지 말지니라
20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
20:16 ○ 네 이웃에 대하여 거짓 증거하지 말지니라
20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's."
20:17 ○ 네 이웃의 집을 탐내지 말지니라 네 이웃의 아내나 그의 남종이나 그의 여종이나 그의 소나 그의 나귀나 무릇 네 이웃의 소유를 탐내지 말지니라
20:18 All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.
20:18 ○ 뭇 백성이 우뢰와 번개와 나팔 소리와 산의 연기를 본지라 그들이 볼 때에 떨며 멀리 서서
20:19 They said to Moses, "Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don't let God speak with us, lest we die."
20:19 모세에게 이르되 당신이 우리에게 말씀하소서 우리가 들으리이다 하나님이 우리에게 말씀하시지 말게 하소서 우리가 죽을까 하나이다
20:20 Moses said to the people, "Don't be afraid, for God has come to test you, and that his fear may be before you, that you won't sin."
20:20 모세가 백성에게 이르되 두려워 말라 하나님이 강림하심은 너희를 시험하고 너희로 경외하여 범죄치 않게 하려 하심이니라
20:21 The people stayed at a distance, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
20:21 백성은 멀리 섰고 모세는 하나님의 계신 암흑으로 가까이 가니라
20:22 Yahweh said to Moses, "This is what you shall tell the children of Israel: 'You yourselves have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
20:22 ○ 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 이르라 내가 하늘에서부터 너희에게 말하는 것을 너희가 친히 보았으니
20:23 You shall most certainly not make alongside of me gods of silver, or gods of gold for yourselves.
20:23 너희는 나를 비겨서 은으로 신상이나 금으로 신상을 너희를 위하여 만들지 말고
20:24 You shall make an altar of earth for me, and shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. In every place where I record my name I will come to you and I will bless you.
20:24 내게 토단을 쌓고 그 위에 너의 양과 소로 너의 번제와 화목제를 드리라 내가 무릇 내 이름을 기념하게 하는 곳에서 네게 강림하여 복을 주리라
20:25 If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of cut stones; for if you lift up your tool on it, you have polluted it.
20:25 네가 내게 돌로 단을 쌓거든 다듬은 돌로 쌓지 말라 네가 정으로 그것을 쪼면 부정하게 함이니라
20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness may not be exposed to it.'
20:26 너는 층계로 내 단에 오르지 말라 네 하체가 그 위에서 드러날까 함이니라
21:1 Now these are the ordinances which you shall set before them.
21:1 네가 백성 앞에 세울 율례는 이러하니라
21:2 If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years and in the seventh he shall go out free without paying anything.
21:2 ○ 네가 히브리 종을 사면 그가 육 년 동안 섬길 것이요 제 칠 년에는 값 없이 나가 자유할 것이며
21:3 If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself. If he is married, then his wife shall go out with him.
21:3 그가 단신으로 왔으면 단신으로 나갈 것이요 장가 들었으면 그 아내도 그와 함께 나가려니와
21:4 If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.
21:4 상전이 그에게 아내를 줌으로 그 아내가 자녀간 낳았으면 그 아내와 그 자식들은 상전에게 속할 것이요 그는 단신으로 나갈 것이로되
21:5 But if the servant shall plainly say, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children. I will not go out free;'
21:5 종이 진정으로 말하기를 내가 상전과 내 처자를 사랑하니 나가서 자유하지 않겠노라 하면
21:6 then his master shall bring him to God, and shall bring him to the door or to the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.
21:6 상전이 그를 데리고 재판장에게로 갈 것이요 또 그를 문이나 문설주 앞으로 데리고 가서 그것에다가 송곳으로 그 귀를 뚫을 것이라 그가 영영히 그 상전을 섬기리라
21:7 If a man sells his daughter to be a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.
21:7 ○ 사람이 그 딸을 여종으로 팔았으면 그는 남종 같이 나오지 못할지며
21:8 If she doesn't please her master, who has married her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her.
21:8 만일 상전이 그를 기뻐 아니하여 상관치 아니하면 그를 속신케 할 것이나 그 여자를 속임이 되었으니 타국인에게 팔지 못할 것이요
21:9 If he marries her to his son, he shall deal with her as a daughter.
21:9 만일 그를 자기 아들에게 주기로 하였으면 그를 딸 같이 대접할 것이요
21:10 If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marital rights.
21:10 만일 상전이 달리 장가를 들지라도 그의 의복과 음식과 동침하는 것은 끊지 못할 것이요
21:11 If he doesn't do these three things for her, she may go free without paying any money.
21:11 이 세 가지를 시행하지 아니하면 그는 속전을 내지 않고 거저 나가게 할 것이니라
21:12 One who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death,
21:12 ○ 사람을 쳐죽인 자는 반드시 죽일 것이나
21:13 but not if it is unintentional, but God allows it to happen: then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.
21:13 만일 사람이 계획함이 아니라 나 하나님이 사람을 그 손에 붙임이면 내가 위하여 한 곳을 정하리니 그 사람이 그리로 도망할 것이며
21:14 If a man schemes and comes presumptuously on his neighbor to kill him, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.
21:14 사람이 그 이웃을 짐짓 모살하였으면 너는 그를 내 단에서라도 잡아내려 죽일지니라
21:15 Anyone who attacks his father or his mother shall be surely put to death.
21:15 ○ 자기 아비나 어미를 치는 자는 반드시 죽일지니라
21:16 Anyone who kidnaps someone and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
21:16 사람을 후린 자가 그 사람을 팔았든지 자기 수하에 두었든지 그를 반드시 죽일지니라
21:17 Anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.
21:17 ○ 그 아비나 어미를 저주하는 자는 반드시 죽일지니라
21:18 If men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone, or with his fist, and he doesn't die, but is confined to bed;
21:18 ○ 사람이 서로 싸우다가 하나가 돌이나 주먹으로 그 적수를 쳤으나 그가 죽지 않고 자리에 누웠다가
21:19 if he rises again and walks around with his staff, then he who struck him shall be cleared: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall provide for his healing until he is thoroughly healed.
21:19 지팡이를 짚고 기동하면 그를 친 자가 형벌은 면하되 기간 손해를 배상하고 그로 전치되게 할지니라
21:20 If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.
21:20 ○ 사람이 매로 그 남종이나 여종을 쳐서 당장에 죽으면 반드시 형벌을 받으려니와
21:21 Notwithstanding, if he gets up after a day or two, he shall not be punished, for he is his property.
21:21 그가 일 일이나 이 일을 연명하면 형벌을 면하리니 그는 상전의 금전임이니라
21:22 If men fight and hurt a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely, and yet no harm follows, he shall be surely fined as much as the woman's husband demands and the judges allow.
21:22 ○ 사람이 서로 싸우다가 아이 밴 여인을 다쳐 낙태케 하였으나 다른 해가 없으면 그 남편의 청구대로 반드시 벌금을 내되 재판장의 판결을 좇아 낼 것이니라
21:23 But if any harm follows, then you must take life for life,
21:23 그러나 다른 해가 있으면 갚되 생명은 생명으로
21:24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
21:24 눈은 눈으로, 이는 이로, 손은 손으로, 발은 발로,
21:25 burning for burning, wound for wound, and bruise for bruise.
21:25 데운 것은 데움으로, 상하게 한 것은 상함으로, 때린 것은 때림으로 갚을지니라
21:26 If a man strikes his servant's eye, or his maid's eye, and destroys it, he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.
21:26 ○ 사람이 그 남종의 한 눈이나 여종의 한 눈을 쳐서 상하게 하면 그 눈 대신에 그를 놓을 것이며
21:27 If he strikes out his male servant's tooth, or his female servant's tooth, he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.
21:27 그 남종의 한 이나 여종의 한 이를 쳐서 빠뜨리면 그 이 대신에 그를 놓을지니라
21:28 If a bull gores a man or a woman to death, the bull shall surely be stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the bull shall not be held responsible.
21:28 ○ 소가 남자나 여자를 받아서 죽이면 그 소는 반드시 돌에 맞아 죽을 것이요 그 고기는 먹지 말 것이며 임자는 형벌을 면하려니와
21:29 But if the bull had a habit of goring in the past, and it has been testified to its owner, and he has not kept it in, but it has killed a man or a woman, the bull shall be stoned, and its owner shall also be put to death.
21:29 소는 본래 받는 버릇이 있고 그 임자는 그로 인하여 경고를 받았으되 단속하지 아니하므로 남녀간에 받아 죽이면 그 소는 돌로 쳐죽일 것이고 임자도 죽일 것이며
21:30 If a ransom is laid on him, then he shall give for the redemption of his life whatever is laid on him.
21:30 만일 그에게 속죄금을 명하면 무릇 그 명한 것을 생명의 속으로 낼 것이요
21:31 Whether it has gored a son or has gored a daughter, according to this judgment it shall be done to him.
21:31 아들을 받든지 딸을 받든지 이 율례대로 그 임자에게 행할 것이며
21:32 If the bull gores a male servant or a female servant, thirty shekels of silver shall be given to their master, and the ox shall be stoned.
21:32 소가 만일 남종이나 여종을 받으면 소 임자가 은 삼십 세겔을 그 상전에게 줄 것이요 소는 돌에 맞아 죽을지니라
21:33 If a man opens a pit, or if a man digs a pit and doesn't cover it, and a bull or a donkey falls into it,
21:33 ○ 사람이 구덩이를 열어 두거나 구덩이를 파고 덮지 아니함으로 소나 나귀가 거기에 빠지면
21:34 the owner of the pit shall make it good. He shall give money to its owner, and the dead animal shall be his.
21:34 그 구덩이 주인이 잘 조처하여 짐승의 임자에게 돈을 줄 것이요 죽은 것은 그의 차지가 될지니라
21:35 If one man's bull injures another's, so that it dies, then they shall sell the live bull, and divide its price; and they shall also divide the dead animal.
21:35 ○ 이 사람의 소가 저 사람의 소를 받아 죽이면 산 소를 팔아 그 값을 반분하고 죽은 것도 반분하려니와
21:36 Or if it is known that the bull was in the habit of goring in the past, and its owner has not kept it in, he shall surely pay bull for bull, and the dead animal shall be his own.
21:36 그 소가 본래 받는 버릇이 있는 줄을 알고도 그 임자가 단속하지 아니하였으면 그는 소로 소를 갚을 것이요 죽은 것은 그의 차지가 될지니라
22:1 If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it, or sells it; he shall pay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
22:1 사람이 소나 양을 도적질하여 잡거나 팔면 그는 소 하나에 소 다섯으로 갚고 양 하나에 양 넷으로 갚을지니라
22:2 If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him.
22:2 도적이 뚫고 들어옴을 보고 그를 쳐죽이면 피 흘린 죄가 없으나
22:3 If the sun has risen on him, guilt of bloodshed shall be for him; he shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
22:3 해 돋은 후이면 피 흘린 죄가 있으리라 도적은 반드시 배상할 것이나 배상할 것이 없으면 그 몸을 팔아 그 도적질한 것을 배상할 것이요
22:4 If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
22:4 도적질한 것이 살아 그 손에 있으면 소나 나귀나 양을 무론하고 갑절을 배상할지니라
22:5 If a man causes a field or vineyard to be eaten, and lets his animal loose, and it grazes in another man's field, he shall make restitution from the best of his own field, and from the best of his own vineyard.
22:5 사람이 밭에서나 포도원에서 먹이다가 그 짐승을 놓아서 남의 밭에서 먹게 하면 자기 밭의 제일 좋은 것과 자기 포도원의 제일 좋은 것으로 배상할지니라
22:6 If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns so that the shocks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field are consumed; he who kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
22:6 불이 나서 가시나무에 미쳐 낟가리나 거두지 못한 곡식이나 전원을 태우면 불 놓은 자가 반드시 배상할지니라
22:7 If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man's house; if the thief is found, he shall pay double.
22:7 ○ 사람이 돈이나 물품을 이웃에게 맡겨 지키게 하였다가 그 이웃의 집에서 봉적하였는데 그 도적이 잡히면 갑절을 배상할 것이요
22:8 If the thief isn't found, then the master of the house shall come near to God, to find out if he hasn't put his hand to his neighbor's goods.
22:8 도적이 잡히지 아니하면 그 집 주인이 재판장 앞에 가서 자기가 그 이웃의 물품에 손 댄 여부의 조사를 받을 것이며
22:9 For every matter of trespass, whether it be for ox, for donkey, for sheep, for clothing, or for any kind of lost thing, about which one says, 'This is mine,' the cause of both parties shall come before God. He whom God condemns shall pay double to his neighbor.
22:9 어떠한 과실에든지 소에든지 나귀에든지 양에든지 의복에든지 또는 아무 잃은 물건에든지 그것에 대하여 혹이 이르기를 이것이 그것이라 하면 두 편이 재판장 앞에 나아갈 것이요 재판장이 죄 있다고 하는 자가 그 상대편에게 갑절을 배상할지니라
22:10 If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies or is injured, or driven away, no man seeing it;
22:10 ○ 사람이 나귀나 소나 양이나 다른 짐승을 이웃에게 맡겨 지키게 하였다가 죽거나 상하거나 몰려가도 본 사람이 없으면
22:11 the oath of Yahweh shall be between them both, whether he hasn't put his hand to his neighbor's goods; and its owner shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution.
22:11 두 사람 사이에 맡은 자가 이웃의 것에 손을 대지 아니하였다고 야훼로 맹세할 것이요 그 임자는 그대로 믿을 것이며 그 사람은 배상하지 아니하려니와
22:12 But if it is stolen from him, he shall make restitution to its owner.
22:12 만일 자기에게서 봉적하였으면 그 임자에게 배상할 것이며
22:13 If it is torn in pieces, let him bring it for evidence. He shall not make good that which was torn.
22:13 만일 찢겼으면 그것을 가져다가 증거할 것이요 그 찢긴 것에 대하여 배상하지 않을지니라
22:14 If a man borrows anything of his neighbor's, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.
22:14 ○ 만일 이웃에게 빌어온 것이 그 임자가 함께 있지 아니할 때에 상하거나 죽으면 반드시 배상하려니와
22:15 If its owner is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is a leased thing, it came for its lease.
22:15 그 임자가 그것과 함께 하였으면 배상하지 않을지며 세 낸 것도 세를 위하여 왔은즉 배상하지 않을지니라
22:16 If a man entices a virgin who isn't pledged to be married, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.
22:16 ○ 사람이 정혼하지 아니한 처녀를 꾀어 동침하였으면 빙폐를 드려 아내로 삼을 것이요
22:17 If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.
22:17 만일 그 아비가 그로 그에게 주기를 거절하면 그는 처녀에게 빙폐하는 일례로 돈을 낼지니라
22:18 You shall not allow a sorceress to live.
22:18 ○ 너는 무당을 살려 두지 말지니라
22:19 Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.
22:19 ○ 짐승과 행음하는 자는 반드시 죽일지니라
22:20 He who sacrifices to any god, except to Yahweh only, shall be utterly destroyed.
22:20 ○ 야훼 외에 다른 신에게 희생을 드리는 자는 멸할지니라
22:21 You shall not wrong an alien, neither shall you oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
22:21 너는 이방 나그네를 압제하지 말며 그들을 학대하지 말라 너희도 애굽 땅에서 나그네이었었음이니라
22:22 You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.
22:22 너는 과부나 고아를 해롭게 하지 말라
22:23 If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;
22:23 네가 만일 그들을 해롭게 하므로 그들이 내게 부르짖으면 내가 반드시 그 부르짖음을 들을지라
22:24 and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
22:24 나의 노가 맹렬하므로 내가 칼로 너희를 죽이리니 너희 아내는 과부가 되고 너희 자녀는 고아가 되리라
22:25 If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor; neither shall you charge him interest.
22:25 ○ 네가 만일 너와 함께 한 나의 백성 중 가난한 자에게 돈을 꾸이거든 너는 그에게 채주 같이 하지 말며 변리를 받지 말 것이며
22:26 If you take your neighbor's garment as collateral, you shall restore it to him before the sun goes down,
22:26 네가 만일 이웃의 옷을 전당 잡거든 해가 지기 전에 그에게 돌려보내라
22:27 for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.
22:27 그 몸을 가릴 것이 이뿐이라 이는 그 살의 옷인즉 그가 무엇을 입고 자겠느냐 그가 내게 부르짖으면 내가 들으리니 나는 자비한 자임이니라
22:28 You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
22:28 ○ 너는 재판장을 욕하지 말며 백성의 유사를 저주하지 말지니라
22:29 You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. "You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.
22:29 너는 너의 추수한 것과 너의 짜낸 즙을 드리기에 더디게 말지며 너의 처음 난 아들들을 내게 줄지며
22:30 You shall do likewise with your cattle and with your sheep. Seven days it shall be with its mother, then on the eighth day you shall give it to me.
22:30 너의 소와 양도 그 일례로 하되 칠 일 동안 어미와 함께 있게 하다가 팔 일 만에 내게 줄지니라
22:31 You shall be holy men to me, therefore you shall not eat any flesh that is torn by animals in the field. You shall cast it to the dogs.
22:31 너희는 내게 거룩한 사람이 될지니 들에서 짐승에게 찢긴 것의 고기를 먹지 말고 개에게 던질지니라
23:1 You shall not spread a false report. Don't join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness.
23:1 너는 허망한 풍설을 전파하지 말며 악인과 연합하여 무함하는 증인이 되지 말며
23:2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; neither shall you testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice;
23:2 다수를 따라 악을 행하지 말며 송사에 다수를 따라 부정당한 증거를 하지 말며
23:3 neither shall you favor a poor man in his cause.
23:3 가난한 자의 송사라고 편벽되이 두호하지 말지니라
23:4 If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.
23:4 ○ 네가 만일 네 원수의 길 잃은 소나 나귀를 만나거든 반드시 그 사람에게로 돌릴지며
23:5 If you see the donkey of him who hates you fallen down under his burden, don't leave him, you shall surely help him with it.
23:5 네가 만일 너를 미워하는 자의 나귀가 짐을 싣고 엎드러짐을 보거든 삼가 버려두지 말고 그를 도와 그 짐을 부리울지니라
23:6 You shall not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.
23:6 ○ 너는 가난한 자의 송사라고 공평치 않게 하지 말며
23:7 Keep far from a false charge, and don't kill the innocent and righteous: for I will not justify the wicked.
23:7 거짓 일을 멀리하며 무죄한 자와 의로운 자를 죽이지 말라 나는 악인을 의롭다 하지 아니하겠노라
23:8 You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight and perverts the words of the righteous.
23:8 너는 뇌물을 받지 말라 뇌물은 밝은 자의 눈을 어둡게 하고 의로운 자의 말을 굽게 하느니라
23:9 You shall not oppress an alien, for you know the heart of an alien, since you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
23:9 너는 이방 나그네를 압제하지 말라 너희가 애굽 땅에서 나그네 되었었은즉 나그네의 정경을 아느니라
23:10 For six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in its increase,
23:10 ○ 너는 육 년 동안은 너의 땅에 파종하여 그 소산을 거두고
23:11 but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the animal of the field shall eat. In the same way, you shall deal with your vineyard and with your olive grove.
23:11 제 칠 년에는 갈지 말고 묵여두어서 네 백성의 가난한 자로 먹게 하라 그 남은 것은 들짐승이 먹으리라 너의 포도원과 감람원도 그리할지니라
23:12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the alien may be refreshed.
23:12 너는 육 일 동안에 네 일을 하고 제 칠 일에는 쉬라 네 소와 나귀가 쉴 것이며 네 계집 종의 자식과 나그네가 숨을 돌리리라
23:13 Be careful to do all things that I have said to you; and don't invoke the name of other gods, neither let them be heard out of your mouth.
23:13 내가 네게 이른 모든 일을 삼가 지키고 다른 신들의 이름은 부르지도 말며 네 입에서 들리게도 말지니라
23:14 You shall observe a feast to me three times a year.
23:14 ○ 너는 매년 삼차 내게 절기를 지킬지니라
23:15 You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib (for in it you came out from Egypt), and no one shall appear before me empty.
23:15 너는 무교병의 절기를 지키라 내가 네게 명한 대로 아빕월의 정한 때에 칠 일 동안 무교병을 먹을지니 이는 그 달에 네가 애굽에서 나왔음이라 빈 손으로 내게 보이지 말지니라
23:16 And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field: and the feast of harvest, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.
23:16 맥추절을 지키라 이는 네가 수고하여 밭에 뿌린 것의 첫 열매를 거둠이니라 수장절을 지키라 이는 네가 수고하여 이룬 것을 연종에 밭에서부터 거두어 저장함이니라
23:17 Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh.
23:17 너의 모든 남자는 매년 세 번씩 주 야훼께 보일지니라
23:18 You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread, neither shall the fat of my feast remain all night until the morning.
23:18 ○ 너는 내 희생의 피를 유교병과 함께 드리지 말며 내 절기 희생의 기름을 아침까지 남겨두지 말지니라
23:19 The first of the first fruits of your ground you shall bring into the house of Yahweh your God. "You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.
23:19 너의 토지에서 처음 익은 열매의 첫 것을 가져다가 너의 하나님 야훼의 전에 드릴지니라 너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖으로 삶지 말지니라
23:20 Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you by the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.
23:20 ○ 내가 사자를 네 앞서 보내어 길에서 너를 보호하여 너로 내가 예비한 곳에 이르게 하리니
23:21 Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don't provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him.
23:21 너희는 삼가 그 목소리를 청종하고 그를 노엽게 하지 말라 그가 너희 허물을 사하지 아니할 것은 내 이름이 그에게 있음이니라
23:22 But if you indeed listen to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.
23:22 네가 그 목소리를 잘 청종하고 나의 모든 말대로 행하면 내가 네 원수에게 원수가 되고 네 대적에게 대적이 될지라
23:23 For my angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.
23:23 나의 사자가 네 앞서 가서 너를 아모리 사람과 헷 사람과 브리스 사람과 가나안 사람과 히위 사람과 여부스 사람에게로 인도하고 나는 그들을 끊으리니
23:24 You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor follow their practices, but you shall utterly overthrow them and demolish their pillars.
23:24 너는 그들의 신을 숭배하지 말며 섬기지 말며 그들의 소위를 본받지 말며 그것들을 다 훼파하며 그 주상을 타파하고
23:25 You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from your midst.
23:25 너의 하나님 야훼를 섬기라 그리하면 야훼가 너희의 양식과 물에 복을 내리고 너희 중에 병을 제하리니
23:26 No one will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days.
23:26 네 나라에 낙태하는 자가 없고 잉태치 못하는 자가 없을 것이라 내가 너의 날 수를 채우리라
23:27 will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.
23:27 내가 내 위엄을 네 앞서 보내어 너의 이를 곳의 모든 백성을 파하고 너의 모든 원수로 너를 등지게 할 것이며
23:28 will send the hornet before you, which will drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before you.
23:28 내가 왕벌을 네 앞에 보내리니 그 벌이 히위 족속과 가나안 족속과 헷 족속을 네 앞에서 쫓아내리라
23:29 will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the animals of the field multiply against you.
23:29 그러나 그 땅이 황무하게 되어 들짐승이 번성하여 너희를 해할까 하여 일 년 안에는 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내지 아니하고
23:30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and inherit the land.
23:30 네가 번성하여 그 땅을 기업으로 얻을 때까지 내가 그들을 네 앞에서 조금씩 쫓아내리라
23:31 I will set your border from the Red Sea even to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.
23:31 내가 너의 지경을 홍해에서부터 블레셋 바다까지, 광야에서부터 하수까지 정하고 그 땅의 거민을 네 손에 붙이리니 네가 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아낼찌라
23:32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
23:32 너는 그들과 그들의 신과 언약하지 말라
23:33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me, for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you."
23:33 그들이 네 땅에 머무르지 못할 것은 그들이 너로 내게 범죄케 할까 두려움이라 네가 그 신을 섬기면 그것이 너의 올무가 되리라
24:1 He said to Moses, "Come up to Yahweh, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship from a distance.
24:1 또 모세에게 이르시되 너는 아론과 나답과 아비후와 이스라엘 장로 칠십 인과 함께 야훼에게로 올라와 멀리서 경배하고
24:2 Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him."
24:2 너 모세만 야훼에게 가까이 나아오고 그들은 가까이 나아오지 말며 백성은 너와 함께 올라오지 말지니라
24:3 Moses came and told the people all the words of Yahweh, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, "All the words which Yahweh has spoken will we do."
24:3 모세가 와서 야훼의 모든 말씀과 그 모든 율례를 백성에게 고하매 그들이 한 소리로 응답하여 가로되 야훼의 명하신 모든 말씀을 우리가 준행하리이다
24:4 Moses wrote all the words of Yahweh, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.
24:4 모세가 야훼의 모든 말씀을 기록하고 이른 아침에 일어나 산 아래 단을 쌓고 이스라엘 십 이 지파대로 열 두 기둥을 세우고
24:5 He sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Yahweh.
24:5 이스라엘 자손의 청년들을 보내어 번제와 소로 화목제를 야훼께 드리게 하고
24:6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
24:6 모세가 피를 취하여 반은 여러 양푼에 담고 반은 단에 뿌리고
24:7 He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, "All that Yahweh has spoken will we do, and be obedient."
24:7 언약서를 가져 백성에게 낭독하여 들리매 그들이 가로되 야훼의 모든 말씀을 우리가 준행하리이다
24:8 Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words."
24:8 모세가 그 피를 취하여 백성에게 뿌려 가로되 이는 야훼께서 이 모든 말씀에 대하여 너희와 세우신 언약의 피니라
24:9 Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up.
24:9 ○ 모세와 아론과 나답과 아비후와 이스라엘 장로 칠십 인이 올라가서
24:10 They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness.
24:10 이스라엘 하나님을 보니 그 발 아래에는 청옥을 편 듯하고 하늘 같이 청명하더라
24:11 He didn't lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel. They saw God, and ate and drank.
24:11 하나님이 이스라엘의 존귀한 자들에게 손을 대지 아니하셨고 그들은 하나님을 보고 먹고 마셨더라
24:12 Yahweh said to Moses, "Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the tables of stone with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them."
24:12 ○ 야훼께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 산에 올라 내게로 와서 거기 있으라 너로 그들을 가르치려고 내가 율법과 계명을 친히 기록한 돌판을 네게 주리라
24:13 Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God's Mountain.
24:13 모세가 그 종자 여호수아와 함께 일어나 하나님의 산으로 올라가며
24:14 He said to the elders, "Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them."
24:14 장로들에게 이르되 너희는 여기서 우리가 너희에게로 돌아오기까지 기다리라 아론과 훌이 너희와 함께 하리니 무릇 일이 있는 자는 그들에게로 나아갈지니라 하고
24:15 Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
24:15 모세가 산에 오르매 구름이 산을 가리며
24:16 The glory of Yahweh settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
24:16 야훼의 영광이 시내 산 위에 머무르고 구름이 육 일 동안 산을 가리더니 제 칠 일에 야훼께서 구름 가운데 모세를 부르시니라
24:17 The appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.
24:17 산 위의 야훼의 영광이 이스라엘 자손의 눈에 맹렬한 불 같이 보였고
24:18 Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
24:18 모세는 구름 속으로 들어가서 산 위에 올랐으며 사십 일 사십 야를 산에 있으니라
25:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
25:1 야훼께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
25:2 Speak to the children of Israel, that they take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall take my offering.
25:2 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 내게 예물을 가져오라 하고 무릇 즐거운 마음으로 내는 자에게서 내게 드리는 것을 너희는 받을지니라
25:3 This is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, brass,
25:3 너희가 그들에게서 받을 예물은 이러하니 금과 은과 놋과
25:4 blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair,
25:4 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가는 베실과 염소 털과
25:5 rams' skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,
25:5 붉은 물들인 수양의 가죽과 해달의 가죽과 조각목과
25:6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,
25:6 등유와 관유에 드는 향품과 분향할 향을 만들 향품과
25:7 onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.
25:7 호마노며 에봇과 흉패에 물릴 보석이니라
25:8 Let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
25:8 내가 그들 중에 거할 성소를 그들을 시켜 나를 위하여 짓되
25:9 According to all that I show you, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all of its furniture, even so you shall make it.
25:9 무릇 내가 네게 보이는 대로 장막의 식양과 그 기구의 식양을 따라 지을지니라
25:10 They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Its length shall be two and a half cubits, its breadth a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height.
25:10 ○ 그들은 조각목으로 궤를 짓되 장이 이 규빗 반, 광이 일 규빗 반, 고가 일 규빗 반이 되게 하고
25:11 You shall overlay it with pure gold. You shall overlay it inside and outside, and you shall make a gold molding around it.
25:11 너는 정금으로 그것을 싸되 그 안팎을 싸고 윗가로 돌아가며 금 테를 두르고
25:12 You shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in its four feet. Two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.
25:12 금 고리 넷을 부어 만들어 그 네 발에 달되 이편에 두 고리요 저편에 두 고리며
25:13 You shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
25:13 조각목으로 채를 만들고 금으로 싸고
25:14 You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark.
25:14 그 채를 궤 양편 고리에 꿰어서 궤를 메게 하며
25:15 The poles shall be in the rings of the ark. They shall not be taken from it.
25:15 채를 궤의 고리에 꿴대로 두고 빼어내지 말지며
25:16 You shall put the testimony which I shall give you into the ark.
25:16 내가 네게 줄 증거판을 궤 속에 둘지며
25:17 You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. Two and a half cubits shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.
25:17 정금으로 속죄소를 만들되 장이 이 규빗 반, 광이 일 규빗 반이 되게 하고
25:18 You shall make two cherubim of hammered gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.
25:18 금으로 그룹 둘을 속죄소 두 끝에 쳐서 만들되
25:19 Make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one piece with the mercy seat.
25:19 한 그룹은 이 끝에, 한 그룹은 저 끝에 곧 속죄소 두 끝에 속죄소와 한 덩이로 연하게 할지며
25:20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.
25:20 그룹들은 그 날개를 높이 펴서 그 날개로 속죄소를 덮으며 그 얼굴을 서로 대하여 속죄소를 향하게 하고
25:21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you.
25:21 속죄소를 궤 위에 얹고 내가 네게 줄 증거판을 궤 속에 넣으라
25:22 There I will meet with you, and I will tell you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel.
25:22 거기서 내가 너와 만나고 속죄소 위 곧 증거궤 위에 있는 두 그룹 사이에서 내가 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 네게 명할 모든 일을 네게 이르리라
25:23 You shall make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth, and one and a half cubits its height.
25:23 ○ 너는 조각목으로 상을 만들되 장이 이 규빗, 광이 일 규빗, 고가 일 규빗 반이 되게 하고
25:24 You shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.
25:24 정금으로 싸고 주위에 금 테를 두르고
25:25 You shall make a rim of a handbreadth around it. You shall make a golden molding on its rim around it.
25:25 그 사면에 손바닥 넓이 만한 턱을 만들고 그 턱 주위에 금으로 테를 만들고
25:26 You shall make four rings of gold for it, and put the rings in the four corners that are on its four feet.
25:26 그것을 위하여 금 고리 넷을 만들어 네 발 위 네 모퉁이에 달되
25:27 the rings shall be close to the rim, for places for the poles to carry the table.
25:27 턱 곁에 달라 이는 상 멜 채를 꿸 곳이며
25:28 You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.
25:28 또 조각목으로 그 채를 만들고 금으로 싸라 상을 이것으로 멜 것이니라
25:29 You shall make its dishes, its spoons, its ladles, and its bowls to pour out offerings with. You shall make them of pure gold.
25:29 너는 대접과 숟가락과 병과 붓는 잔을 만들되 정금으로 만들지며
25:30 You shall set bread of the presence on the table before me always.
25:30 상 위에 진설병을 두어 항상 내 앞에 있게 할지니라
25:31 You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. Of hammered work shall the lampstand be made, even its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.
25:31 ○ 너는 정금으로 등대를 쳐서 만들되 그 밑판과 줄기와 잔과 꽃받침과 꽃을 한 덩이로 연하게 하고
25:32 There shall be six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of its one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side;
25:32 가지 여섯을 등대 곁에서 나오게 하되 그 세 가지는 이편으로 나오고 그 세 가지는 저편으로 나오게 하며
25:33 three cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the lampstand;
25:33 이편 가지에 살구꽃 형상의 잔 셋과 꽃받침과 꽃이 있게 하고 저편 가지에도 살구꽃 형상의 잔 셋과 꽃받침과 꽃이 있게 하여 등대에서 나온 여섯 가지를 같게 할지며
25:34 and in the lampstand four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers;
25:34 등대 줄기에는 살구꽃 형상의 잔 넷과 꽃받침과 꽃이 있게 하고
25:35 and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the lampstand.
25:35 등대에서 나온 여섯 가지를 위하여 꽃받침이 있게 하되 두 가지 아래 한 꽃받침이 있어 줄기와 연하게 하며 또 두 가지 아래 한 꽃받침이 있어 줄기와 연하게 하며 또 두 가지 아래 한 꽃받침이 있어 줄기와 연하게 하고
25:36 Their buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, all of it one beaten work of pure gold.
25:36 그 꽃받침과 가지를 줄기와 연하게 하여 전부를 정금으로 쳐 만들고
25:37 You shall make its lamps seven, and they shall light its lamps to give light to the space in front of it.
25:37 등잔 일곱을 만들어 그 위에 두어 앞을 비추게 하며
25:38 Its snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be of pure gold.
25:38 그 불집게와 불똥 그릇도 정금으로 만들지니
25:39 It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these accessories.
25:39 등대와 이 모든 기구를 정금 한 달란트로 만들되
25:40 See that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain.
25:40 너는 삼가 이 산에서 네게 보인 식양대로 할지니라
26:1 Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman you shall make them.
26:1 너는 성막을 만들되 앙장 열 폭을 가늘게 꼰 베실과 청색 자색 홍색 실로 그룹을 공교히 수 놓아 만들지니
26:2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits: all the curtains shall have one measure.
26:2 매폭의 장은 이십 팔 규빗, 광은 사 규빗으로 각 폭의 장단을 같게 하고
26:3 Five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
26:3 그 앙장 다섯 폭을 서로 연하며 다른 다섯 폭도 서로 연하고
26:4 You shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the edge in the coupling; and likewise you shall make in the edge of the curtain that is outmost in the second coupling.
26:4 그 앙장의 연락할 말폭 가에 청색 고를 만들며 다른 연락할 말폭 가에도 그와 같이 하고
26:5 You shall make fifty loops in the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling. The loops shall be opposite one to another.
26:5 앙장 말폭 가에 고 오십을 달며 다른 앙장 말폭 가에도 고 오십을 달고 그 고들을 서로 대하게 하고
26:6 You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to another with the clasps: and the tabernacle shall be a unit.
26:6 금 갈고리 오십을 만들고 그 갈고리로 앙장을 연합하여 한 성막을 이룰지며
26:7 You shall make curtains of goats' hair for a covering over the tabernacle. You shall make them eleven curtains.
26:7 그 성막을 덮는 막 곧 앙장을 염소 털로 만들되 열 한 폭을 만들지며
26:8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits: the eleven curtains shall have one measure.
26:8 각 폭의 장은 삼십 규빗, 광은 사 규빗으로 열 한 폭의 장단을 같게 하고
26:9 You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tent.
26:9 그 앙장 다섯 폭을 서로 연하며 또 여섯 폭을 서로 연하고 그 여섯째 폭 절반은 성막 전면에 접어 드리우고
26:10 You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is outmost in the second coupling.
26:10 앙장을 연락할 말폭 가에 고 오십을 달며 다른 연락할 말폭 가에도 고 오십을 달고
26:11 You shall make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
26:11 놋 갈고리 오십을 만들고 그 갈고리로 그 고를 꿰어 연합하여 한 막이 되게 하고
26:12 The overhanging part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.
26:12 그 막 곧 앙장의 나머지 그 반 폭은 성막 뒤에 드리우고
26:13 The cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
26:13 막 곧 앙장의 길이의 남은 것은 이편에 한 규빗, 저편에 한 규빗 씩 성막 좌우 양편에 덮어 드리우고
26:14 You shall make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides above.
26:14 붉은 물들인 수양의 가죽으로 막의 덮개를 만들고 해달의 가죽으로 그 웃덮개를 만들지니라
26:15 You shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up.
26:15 ○ 너는 조각목으로 성막을 위하여 널판을 만들어 세우되
26:16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and one and a half cubits the breadth of each board.
26:16 각 판의 장은 십 규빗, 광은 일 규빗 반으로 하고
26:17 There shall be two tenons in each board, joined to one another: thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
26:17 각 판에 두 촉씩 내어 서로 연하게 하되 너는 성막 널판을 다 그와 같이 하라
26:18 You shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward.
26:18 너는 성막을 위하여 널판을 만들되 남편을 위하여 널판 스물을 만들고
26:19 You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.
26:19 스무 널판 아래 은 받침 마흔을 만들지니 이 널판 아래에도 그 두 촉을 위하여 두 받침을 만들고 저 널판 아래에도 그 두 촉을 위하여 두 받침을 만들지며
26:20 For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards,
26:20 성막 다른 편 곧 그 북편을 위하여도 널판 스물로 하고
26:21 and their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26:21 은 받침 마흔을 이 널판 아래에도 두 받침, 저 널판 아래에도 두 받침으로 하며
26:22 For the far part of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards.
26:22 성막 뒤 곧 그 서편을 위하여는 널판 여섯을 만들고
26:23 You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the far part.
26:23 성막 뒤 두 모퉁이 편을 위하여는 널판 둘을 만들되
26:24 They shall be double beneath, and in the same way they shall be whole to its top to one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
26:24 아래에서부터 위까지 각기 두 겹 두께로 하여 윗고리에 이르게 하고 두 모퉁이 편을 다 그리하며
26:25 There shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26:25 그 여덟 널판에는 은 받침이 열 여섯이니 이 판 아래에도 두 받침이요 저 판 아래에도 두 받침이니라
26:26 You shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
26:26 너는 조각목으로 띠를 만들지니 성막 이편 널판을 위하여 다섯이요
26:27 and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far part westward.
26:27 성막 저편 널판을 위하여 다섯이요 성막 뒤 곧 서편 널판을 위하여 다섯이며
26:28 The middle bar in the midst of the boards shall pass through from end to end.
26:28 널판 가운데 있는 중간 띠는 이 끝에서 저 끝에 미치게 하고
26:29 You shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the bars with gold.
26:29 그 널판들을 금으로 싸고 그 널판들의 띠를 꿸 금 고리를 만들고 그 띠를 금으로 싸라
26:30 You shall set up the tabernacle according to the way that it was shown to you on the mountain.
26:30 너는 산에서 보인 식양대로 성막을 세울지니라
26:31 You shall make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman shall it be made.
26:31 ○ 너는 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 짜서 장을 만들고 그 위에 그룹들을 공교히 수 놓아서
26:32 You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four sockets of silver.
26:32 금 갈고리로 네 기둥 위에 드리우되 그 네 기둥을 조각목으로 만들고 금으로 싸서 네 은 받침 위에 둘지며
26:33 You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil: and the veil shall separate the holy place from the most holy for you.
26:33 그 장을 갈고리 아래 드리운 후에 증거궤를 그 장 안에 들여놓으라 그 장이 너희를 위하여 성소와 지성소를 구별하리라
26:34 You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
26:34 너는 지성소에 있는 증거궤 위에 속죄소를 두고
26:35 You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and you shall put the table on the north side.
26:35 그 장 바깥 북편에 상을 놓고 남편에 등대를 놓아 상과 대하게 할지며
26:36 You shall make a screen for the door of the Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer.
26:36 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 수 놓아 짜서 성막문을 위하여 장을 만들고
26:37 You shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold: their hooks shall be of gold: and you shall cast five sockets of brass for them.
26:37 그 문장을 위하여 기둥 다섯을 조각목으로 만들어 금으로 싸고 그 갈고리도 금으로 만들지며 또 그 기둥을 위하여 받침 다섯을 놋으로 부어 만들지니라
27:1 You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and its height shall be three cubits.
27:1 너는 조각목으로 장이 오 규빗, 광이 오 규빗의 단을 만들되 네모 반듯하게 하며 고는 삼 규빗으로 하고
27:2 You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it; and you shall overlay it with brass.
27:2 그 네 모퉁이 위에 뿔을 만들되 그 뿔이 그것에 연하게 하고 그 단을 놋으로 쌀지며
27:3 You shall make its pots to take away its ashes, its shovels, its basins, its flesh hooks, and its fire pans: all its vessels you shall make of brass.
27:3 재를 담는 통과 부삽과 대야와 고기 갈고리와 불 옮기는 그릇을 만들되 단의 그릇을 다 놋으로 만들지며
27:4 You shall make a grating for it of network of brass: and on the net you shall make four bronze rings in its four corners.
27:4 단을 위하여 놋으로 그물을 만들고 그 위 네 모퉁이에 놋고리 넷을 만들고
27:5 You shall put it under the ledge around the altar beneath, that the net may reach halfway up the altar.
27:5 그물은 단 사면 가장자리 아래 곧 단 절반에 오르게 할지며
27:6 You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.
27:6 또 그 단을 위하여 채를 만들되 조각목으로 만들고 놋으로 쌀지며
27:7 Its poles shall be put into the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar, when carrying it.
27:7 단 양편 고리에 그 채를 꿰어 단을 메게 할지며
27:8 You shall make it with hollow planks. They shall make it as it has been shown you on the mountain.
27:8 단은 널판으로 비게 만들되 산에서 네게 보인 대로 그들이 만들지니라
27:9 You shall make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen one hundred cubits long for one side:
27:9 ○ 너는 성막의 뜰을 만들지니 남을 향하여 뜰 남편에 광이 백 규빗의 세마포 장을 쳐서 그 한 편을 당하게 할지니
27:10 and its pillars shall be twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.
27:10 그 기둥이 스물이며 그 받침 스물은 놋으로 하고 그 기둥의 갈고리와 가름대는 은으로 할지며
27:11 Likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings one hundred cubits long, and its pillars twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets, of silver.
27:11 그 북편에도 광이 백 규빗의 포장을 치되 그 기둥이 스물이며 그 기둥의 받침 스물은 놋으로 하고 그 기둥의 갈고리와 가름대는 은으로 할지며
27:12 For the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits; their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.
27:12 뜰의 옆 곧 서편에 광 오십 규빗의 포장을 치되 그 기둥이 열이요 받침이 열이며
27:13 The breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.
27:13 동을 향하여 뜰 동편의 광도 오십 규빗이 될지며
27:14 The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
27:14 문 이편을 위하여 포장이 십 오 규빗이며 그 기둥이 셋이요 받침이 셋이요
27:15 For the other side shall be hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
27:15 문 저편을 위하여도 포장이 십 오 규빗이며 그 기둥이 셋이요 받침이 셋이며
27:16 For the gate of the court shall be a screen of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer; their pillars four, and their sockets four.
27:16 뜰 문을 위하여는 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 수 놓아 짠 이십 규빗의 장이 있게 할지니 그 기둥이 넷이요 받침이 넷이며
27:17 All the pillars of the court around shall be filleted with silver; their hooks of silver, and their sockets of brass.
27:17 뜰 사면 모든 기둥의 가름대와 갈고리는 은이요 그 받침은 놋이며
27:18 The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits, of fine twined linen, and their sockets of brass.
27:18 뜰의 장은 백 규빗이요 광은 오십 규빗이요 세마포 장의 고는 오 규빗이요 그 받침은 놋이며
27:19 All the instruments of the tabernacle in all its service, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.
27:19 성막에서 쓰는 모든 기구와 그 말뚝과 뜰의 포장 말뚝을 다 놋으로 할지니라
27:20 You shall command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.
27:20 ○ 너는 또 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 감람으로 찧어낸 순결한 기름을 등불을 위하여 네게로 가져오게 하고 끊이지 말고 등불을 켜되
27:21 In the Tent of Meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh: it shall be a statute forever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
27:21 아론과 그 아들들로 회막 안 증거궤 앞 휘장 밖에서 저녁부터 아침까지 항상 야훼 앞에 그 등불을 간검하게 하라 이는 이스라엘 자손의 대대로 영원한 규례니라
28:1 Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
28:1 너는 이스라엘 자손 중 네 형 아론과 그 아들들 곧 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말을 그와 함께 네게로 나아오게 하여 나를 섬기는 제사장 직분을 행하게 하되
28:2 You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
28:2 네 형 아론을 위하여 거룩한 옷을 지어서 영화롭고 아름답게 할지니
28:3 You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
28:3 너는 무릇 마음에 지혜 있는 자 곧 내가 지혜로운 영으로 채운 자들에게 말하여 아론의 옷을 지어 그를 거룩하게 하여 내게 제사장 직분을 행하게 하라
28:4 These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a coat of checker work, a turban, and a sash: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
28:4 그들의 지을 옷은 이러하니 곧 흉패와 에봇과 겉옷과 반포 속옷과 관과 띠라 그들이 네 형 아론과 그 아들들을 위하여 거룩한 옷을 지어 아론으로 내게 제사장 직분을 행하게 할지며
28:5 They shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.
28:5 그들의 쓸 것은 금실과 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실이니라
28:6 They shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.
28:6 ○ 그들이 금실과 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 공교히 짜서 에봇을 짓되
28:7 It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.
28:7 그것에 견대 둘을 달아 그 두 끝을 연하게 하고
28:8 The skillfully woven band, which is on it, that is on him, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
28:8 에봇 위에 매는 띠는 에봇 짜는 법으로 금실과 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 에봇에 공교히 붙여 짤지며
28:9 You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel:
28:9 호마노 두 개를 취하여 그 위에 이스라엘 아들들의 이름을 새기되
28:10 six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.
28:10 그들의 연치대로 여섯 이름을 한 보석에 나머지 여섯 이름은 다른 보석에
28:11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel: you shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.
28:11 보석을 새기는 자가 인에 새김 같이 너는 이스라엘 아들들의 이름을 그 두 보석에 새겨 금 테에 물리고
28:12 You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders for a memorial.
28:12 그 두 보석을 에봇 두 견대에 붙여 이스라엘 아들들의 기념 보석을 삼되 아론이 야훼 앞에서 그들의 이름을 그 두 어깨에 메어서 기념이 되게 할지며
28:13 You shall make settings of gold,
28:13 너는 금으로 테를 만들고
28:14 and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work: and you shall put the braided chains on the settings.
28:14 정금으로 노끈처럼 두 사슬을 땋고 그 땋은 사슬을 그 테에 달지니라
28:15 You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.
28:15 ○ 너는 판결 흉패를 에봇 짜는 법으로 금실과 청색 자색 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 공교히 짜서 만들되
28:16 It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length of it, and a span its breadth.
28:16 장광이 한 뼘씩 두 겹으로 네모 반듯하게 하고
28:17 You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;
28:17 그것에 네 줄로 보석을 물리되 첫 줄은 홍보석 황옥 녹주옥이요
28:18 and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
28:18 둘째 줄은 석류석 남보석 홍마노요
28:19 and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
28:19 세째 줄은 호박 백마노 자수정이요
28:20 and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.
28:20 네째 줄은 녹보석 호마노 벽옥으로 다 금 테에 물릴지니
28:21 The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
28:21 이 보석들은 이스라엘 아들들의 이름대로 열 둘이라 매 보석에 열 두 지파의 한 이름씩 인을 새기는 법으로 새기고
28:22 You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
28:22 정금으로 노끈처럼 땋은 사슬을 흉패 위에 붙이고
28:23 You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
28:23 또 금 고리 둘을 만들어 흉패 위 곧 흉패 두 끝에 그 두 고리를 달고
28:24 You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
28:24 땋은 두 금 사슬로 흉패 두 끝 두 고리에 꿰어 매고
28:25 The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.
28:25 두 땋은 사슬의 다른 두 끝을 에봇 앞 두 견대의 금 테에 매고
28:26 You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
28:26 또 금 고리 둘을 만들어 흉패 아래 양편 가 안쪽 곧 에봇에 닿은 곳에 달고
28:27 You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
28:27 또 금 고리 둘을 만들어 에봇 앞 두 견대 아래 매는 자리 가까운 편 곧 공교히 짠 띠 윗편에 달고
28:28 They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
28:28 청색 끈으로 흉패 고리와 에봇 고리에 꿰어 흉패로 공교히 짠 에봇 띠 위에 붙여 떠나지 않게 하라
28:29 Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
28:29 아론이 성소에 들어갈 때에는 이스라엘 아들들의 이름을 기록한 이 판결 흉패를 가슴에 붙여 야훼 앞에 영원한 기념을 삼을 것이니라
28:30 You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron's heart, when he goes in before Yahweh: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before Yahweh continually.
28:30 너는 우림과 둠밈을 판결 흉패 안에 넣어 아론으로 야훼 앞에 들어갈 때에 그 가슴 위에 있게 하라 아론이 야훼 앞에서 이스라엘 자손의 판결을 항상 그 가슴 위에 둘지니라
28:31 You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
28:31 너는 에봇 받침 겉옷을 전부 청색으로 하되
28:32 It shall have a hole for the head in its midst: it shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
28:32 두 어깨 사이에 머리 들어갈 구멍을 내고 그 주위에 갑옷 깃 같이 깃을 짜서 찢어지지 않게 하고
28:33 On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, around its hem; and bells of gold between and around them:
28:33 그 옷 가장자리로 돌아가며 청색 자색 홍색 실로 석류를 수 놓고 금 방울을 간격하여 달되
28:34 golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
28:34 그 옷 가장자리로 돌아가며 한 금 방울, 한 석류, 한 금 방울, 한 석류가 있게 하라
28:35 It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before Yahweh, and when he comes out, that he not die.
28:35 아론이 입고 야훼를 섬기러 성소에 들어갈 때와 성소에서 나갈 때에 그 소리가 들릴 것이라 그리하면 그가 죽지 아니하리라
28:36 You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, 'HOLY TO YAHWEH.'
28:36 ○ 너는 또 정금으로 패를 만들어 인을 새기는 법으로 그 위에 새기되 {야훼께 성결}이라 하고
28:37 You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash; on the front of the sash it shall be.
28:37 그 패를 청색 끈으로 관 위에 매되 곧 전면에 있게 하라
28:38 It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.
28:38 이 패가 아론의 이마에 있어서 그로 이스라엘 자손의 거룩하게 드리는 성물의 죄건을 담당하게 하라 그 패가 아론의 이마에 늘 있으므로 그 성물을 야훼께서 받으시게 되리라
28:39 You shall weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
28:39 너는 가는 베실로 반포 속옷을 짜고 가는 베실로 관을 만드고 띠를 수 놓아 만들지니라
28:40 You shall make coats for Aaron's sons, and you shall make sashes for them and you shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
28:40 ○ 너는 아론의 아들들을 위하여 속옷을 만들며 그들을 위하여 띠를 만들며 그들을 위하여 관을 만들어서 영화롭고 아름답게 하되
28:41 You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.
28:41 너는 그것들로 네 형 아론과 그와 함께 한 그 아들들에게 입히고 그들에게 기름을 부어 위임하고 거룩하게 하여 그들로 제사장 직분을 내게 행하게 할지며
28:42 You shall make them linen breeches to cover the flesh of their nakedness; from the waist even to the thighs they shall reach:
28:42 또 그들을 위하여 베로 고의를 만들어 허리에서부터 넓적다리까지 이르게 하여 하체를 가리게 하라
28:43 They shall be on Aaron, and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place; that they don't bear iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.
28:43 아론과 그 아들들이 회막에 들어갈 때에나 제단에 가까이 하여 거룩한 곳에서 섬길 때에 그것들을 입어야 죄를 지어서 죽지 아니하리니 그와 그의 후손의 영원히 지킬 규례니라
