15:1 ENTONCES cantó Moisés y los hijos de Israel este cántico á Jehová, y dijeron: Cantaré yo á Jehová, porque se ha magnificado grandemente, Echando en la mar al caballo y al que en él subía.
15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.
15:2 Jehová es mi fortaleza, y mi canción, Y hame sido por salud: Este es mi Dios, y á éste engrandeceré; Dios de mi padre, y á éste ensalzaré.
15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
15:3 Jehová, varón de guerra; Jehová es su nombre.
15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
15:4 Los carros de Faraón y á su ejército echó en la mar; Y sus escogidos príncipes fueron hundidos en el mar Bermejo.
15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host has he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
15:5 Los abismos los cubrieron; Como piedra descendieron á los profundos.
15:5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
15:6 Tu diestra, oh Jehová, ha sido magnificada en fortaleza; Tu diestra, oh Jehová, ha quebrantado al enemigo.
15:6 Your right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: your right hand, O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.
15:7 Y con la grandeza de tu poder has trastornado á los que se levantaron contra ti: Enviaste tu furor; los tragó como á hojarasca.
15:7 And in the greatness of yours excellency you have overthrown them that rose up against you: you sent forth your wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
15:8 Con el soplo de tus narices se amontonaron las aguas; Paráronse las corrientes como en un montón; Los abismos se cuajaron en medio de la mar.
15:8 And with the blast of your nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
15:9 El enemigo dijo: Perseguiré, prenderé, repartiré despojos; Mi alma se henchirá de ellos; Sacaré mi espada, destruirlos ha mi mano.
15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
15:10 Soplaste con tu viento, cubriólos la mar: Hundiéronse como plomo en las impetuosas aguas.
15:10 You did blow with your wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
15:11 ¿Quién como tú, Jehová, entre los dioses? ¿Quién como tú, magnífico en santidad, Terrible en loores, hacedor de maravillas?
15:11 Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
15:12 Extendiste tu diestra; La tierra los tragó.
15:12 You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.
15:13 Condujiste en tu misericordia á este pueblo, al cual salvaste; Llevástelo con tu fortaleza á la habitación de tu santuario.
15:13 You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.
15:14 Oiránlo los pueblos, y temblarán; Apoderarse ha dolor de los moradores de Palestina.
15:14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
15:15 Entonces los príncipes de Edom se turbarán; A los robustos de Moab los ocupará temblor; Abatirse han todos los moradores de Canaán.
15:15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.
15:16 Caiga sobre ellos temblor y espanto; A la grandeza de tu brazo enmudezcan como una piedra; Hasta que haya pasado tu pueblo, oh Jehová, Hasta que haya pasado este pueblo que tú rescataste.
15:16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of yours arm they shall be as still as a stone; till your people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which you have purchased.
15:17 Tú los introducirás y los plantarás en el monte de tu heredad, En el lugar de tu morada, que tú has aparejado, oh Jehová; En el santuario del Señor, que han afirmado tus manos.
15:17 You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of yours inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which you have made for you to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which your hands have established.
15:18 Jehová reinará por los siglos de los siglos.
15:18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
15:19 Porque Faraón entró cabalgando con sus carros y su gente de á caballo en la mar, y Jehová volvió á traer las aguas de la mar sobre ellos; mas los hijos de Israel fueron en seco por medio de la mar.
15:19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.
15:20 Y María la profetisa, hermana de Aarón, tomó un pandero en su mano, y todas las mujeres salieron en pos de ella con panderos y danzas.
15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
15:21 Y María les respondía: Cantad á Jehová; porque en extremo se ha engrandecido, Echando en la mar al caballo, y al que en él subía.
15:21 And Miriam answered them, Sing all of you to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.
15:22 E hizo Moisés que partiese Israel del mar Bermejo, y salieron al desierto de Shur; y anduvieron tres días por el desierto sin hallar agua.
15:22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
15:23 Y llegaron á Mara, y no pudieron beber las aguas de Mara, porque eran amargas; por eso le pusieron el nombre de Mara.
15:23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
15:24 Entonces el pueblo murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Qué hemos de beber?
15:24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
15:25 Y Moisés clamó á Jehová; y Jehová le mostró un árbol, el cual metídolo que hubo dentro de las aguas, las aguas se endulzaron. Allí les dió estatutos y ordenanzas, y allí los probó;
15:25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
15:26 Y dijo: Si oyeres atentamente la voz de Jehová tu Dios, é hicieres lo recto delante de sus ojos, y dieres oído á sus mandamientos, y guardares todos sus estatutos, ninguna enfermedad de las que envié á los Egipcios te enviaré á ti; porque yo soy Jehová tu Sanador.
15:26 And said, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals you.
15:27 Y llegaron á Elim, donde había doce fuentes de aguas, y setenta palmas; y asentaron allí junto á las aguas.
15:27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.

16:1 Y PARTIENDO de Elim toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, vino al desierto de Sin, que está entre Elim y Sinaí, á los quince días del segundo mes después que salieron de la tierra de Egipto.
16:1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
16:2 Y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel murmuró contra Moisés y Aarón en el desierto;
16:2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
16:3 Y decíanles los hijos de Israel: Ojalá hubiéramos muerto por mano de Jehová en la tierra de Egipto, cuando nos sentábamos á las ollas de las carnes, cuando comíamos pan en hartura; pues nos habéis sacado á este desierto, para matar de hambre á toda esta multitud.
16:3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for all of you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
16:4 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: He aquí yo os haré llover pan del cielo; y el pueblo saldrá, y cogerá para cada un día, para que yo le pruebe si anda en mi ley, ó no.
16:4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
16:5 Mas al sexto día aparejarán lo que han de encerrar, que será el doble de lo que solían coger cada día.
16:5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
16:6 Entonces dijo Moisés y Aarón á todos los hijos de Israel: A la tarde sabréis que Jehová os ha sacado de la tierra de Egipto:
16:6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then all of you shall know that the LORD has brought you out from the land of Egypt:
16:7 Y á la mañana veréis la gloria de Jehová; porque él ha oído vuestras murmuraciones contra Jehová; que nosotros, ¿qué somos, para que vosotros murmuréis contra nosotros?
16:7 And in the morning, then all of you shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he hears your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that all of you murmur against us?
16:8 Y dijo Moisés: Jehová os dará á la tarde carne para comer, y á la mañana pan en hartura; por cuanto Jehová ha oído vuestras murmuraciones con que habéis murmurado contra él: que nosotros, ¿qué somos? vuestras murmuraciones no son contra nosotros, sino contra Jehová.
16:8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD hears your murmurings which all of you murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
16:9 Y dijo Moisés á Aarón: Di á toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel: Acercaos á la presencia de Jehová; que él ha oído vuestras murmuraciones.
16:9 And Moses spoke unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he has heard your murmurings.
16:10 Y hablando Aarón á toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, miraron hacia el desierto, y he aquí la gloria de Jehová, que apareció en la nube.
16:10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
16:11 Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:
16:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
16:12 Yo he oído las murmuraciones de los hijos de Israel; háblales, diciendo: Entre las dos tardes comeréis carne, y por la mañana os hartaréis de pan, y sabréis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
16:12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even all of you shall eat flesh, and in the morning all of you shall be filled with bread; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD your God.
16:13 Y venida la tarde subieron codornices que cubrieron el real; y á la mañana descendió rocío en derredor del real.
16:13 And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
16:14 Y como el rocío cesó de descender, he aquí sobre la haz del desierto una cosa menuda, redonda, menuda como una helada sobre la tierra.
16:14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
16:15 Y viéndolo los hijos de Israel, se dijeron unos á otros: ¿Qué es esto? porque no sabían qué era. Entonces Moisés les dijo: Es el pan que Jehová os da para comer.
16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they know not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD has given you to eat.
16:16 Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado: Cogereis de él cada uno según pudiere comer; un gomer por cabeza, conforme al número de vuestras personas, tomaréis cada uno para los que están en su tienda.
16:16 This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take all of you every man for them which are in his tents.
16:17 Y los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así: y recogieron unos más, otros menos:
16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
16:18 Y medíanlo por gomer, y no sobraba al que había recogido mucho, ni faltaba al que había recogido poco: cada uno recogió conforme á lo que había de comer.
16:18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
16:19 Y díjoles Moisés: Ninguno deje nada de ello para mañana.
16:19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.
16:20 Mas ellos no obedecieron á Moisés, sino que algunos dejaron de ello para otro día, y crió gusanos, y pudrióse; y enojóse contra ellos Moisés.
16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was angry with them.
16:21 Y recogíanlo cada mañana, cada uno según lo que había de comer: y luego que el sol calentaba, derretíase.
16:21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
16:22 En el sexto día recogieron doblada comida, dos gomeres para cada uno: y todos los príncipes de la congregación vinieron á Moisés, y se lo hicieron saber.
16:22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
16:23 Y él les dijo: Esto es lo que ha dicho Jehová: Mañana es el santo sábado, el reposo de Jehová: lo que hubiereis de cocer, cocedlo hoy, y lo que hubiereis de cocinar, cocinadlo; y todo lo que os sobrare, guardadlo para mañana.
16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which all of you will bake to day, and seethe that all of you will seethe; and that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
16:24 Y ellos lo guardaron hasta la mañana, según que Moisés había mandado, y no se pudrió, ni hubo en él gusano.
16:24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
16:25 Y dijo Moisés: Comedlo hoy, porque hoy es sábado de Jehová: hoy no hallaréis en el campo.
16:25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; in order to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day all of you shall not find it in the field.
16:26 En los seis días lo recogeréis; mas el séptimo día es sábado, en el cual no se hallará.
16:26 Six days all of you shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
16:27 Y aconteció que algunos del pueblo salieron en el séptimo día á recoger, y no hallaron.
16:27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day in order to gather, and they found none.
16:28 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: ¿Hasta cuándo no querréis guardar mis mandamientos y mis leyes?
16:28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse all of you to keep my commandments and my laws?
16:29 Mirad que Jehová os dió el sábado, y por eso os da en el sexto día pan para dos días. Estése, pues, cada uno en su estancia, y nadie salga de su lugar en el séptimo día.
16:29 See, for that the LORD has given you the sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide all of you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
16:30 Así el pueblo reposó el séptimo día.
16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
16:31 Y la casa de Israel lo llamó Maná; y era como simiente de culantro, blanco, y su sabor como de hojuelas con miel.
16:31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
16:32 Y dijo Moisés: Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado: Henchirás un gomer de él para que se guarde para vuestros descendientes, á fin de que vean el pan que yo os dí á comer en el desierto, cuando yo os saqué de la tierra de Egipto.
16:32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commands, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
16:33 Y dijo Moisés á Aarón: Toma un vaso y pon en él un gomer lleno de maná, y ponlo delante de Jehová, para que sea guardado para vuestros descendientes.
16:33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.
16:34 Y Aarón lo puso delante del Testimonio para guardarlo, como Jehová lo mandó á Moisés.
16:34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
16:35 Así comieron los hijos de Israel maná cuarenta años, hasta que entraron en la tierra habitada: maná comieron hasta que llegaron al término de la tierra de Canaán.
16:35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
16:36 Y un gomer es la décima parte del epha.
16:36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

17:1 Y TODA la congregación de los hijos de Israel partió del desierto de Sin, por sus jornadas, al mandamiento de Jehová, y asentaron el campo en Rephidim: y no había agua para que el pueblo bebiese.
17:1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
17:2 Y altercó el pueblo con Moisés, y dijeron: Danos agua que bebamos. Y Moisés les dijo: ¿Por qué altercáis conmigo? ¿por qué tentáis á Jehová?
17:2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide all of you with me? wherefore do all of you tempt the LORD?
17:3 Así que el pueblo tuvo allí sed de agua, y murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para matarnos de sed á nosotros, y á nuestros hijos y á nuestros ganados?
17:3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
17:4 Entonces clamó Moisés á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Qué haré con este pueblo? de aquí á un poco me apedrearán.
17:4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
17:5 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Pasa delante del pueblo, y toma contigo de los ancianos de Israel; y toma también en tu mano tu vara, con que heriste el río, y ve:
17:5 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, wherewith you smote the river, take in yours hand, and go.
17:6 He aquí que yo estoy delante de ti allí sobre la peña en Horeb; y herirás la peña, y saldrán de ella aguas, y beberá el pueblo. Y Moisés lo hizo así en presencia de los ancianos de Israel.
17:6 Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
17:7 Y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Massah y Meribah, por la rencilla de los hijos de Israel, y porque tentaron á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Está, pues, Jehová entre nosotros, ó no?
17:7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
17:8 Y vino Amalec y peleó con Israel en Rephidim.
17:8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
17:9 Y dijo Moisés á Josué: Escógenos varones, y sal, pelea con Amalec: mañana yo estaré sobre la cumbre del collado, y la vara de Dios en mi mano.
17:9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
17:10 E hizo Josué como le dijo Moisés, peleando con Amalec; y Moisés y Aarón y Hur subieron á la cumbre del collado.
17:10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
17:11 Y sucedía que cuando alzaba Moisés su mano, Israel prevalecía; mas cuando él bajaba su mano, prevalecía Amalec.
17:11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
17:12 Y las manos de Moisés estaban pesadas; por lo que tomaron una piedra, y pusiéronla debajo de él, y se sentó sobre ella; y Aarón y Hur sustentaban sus manos, el uno de una parte y el otro de otra; así hubo en sus manos firmeza hasta que se puso el sol.
17:12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
17:13 Y Josué deshizo á Amalec y á su pueblo á filo de espada.
17:13 And Joshua humiliated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
17:14 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Escribe esto para memoria en un libro, y di á Josué que del todo tengo de raer la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo.
17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
17:15 Y Moisés edificó un altar, y llamó su nombre Jehová-nissi;
17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
17:16 Y dijo: Por cuanto la mano sobre el trono de Jehová, Jehová tendrá guerra con Amalec de generación en generación.
17:16 For he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

18:1 Y OYO Jethro, sacerdote de Madián, suegro de Moisés, todas las cosas que Dios había hecho con Moisés, y con Israel su pueblo, y cómo Jehová había sacado á Israel de Egipto:
18:1 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;
18:2 Y tomó Jethro, suegro de Moisés á Séphora la mujer de Moisés, después que él la envió,
18:2 Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,
18:3 Y á sus dos hijos; el uno se llamaba Gersóm, porque dijo: Peregrino he sido en tierra ajena;
18:3 And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an foreigner in a strange land:
18:4 Y el otro se llamaba Eliezer, porque dijo, El Dios de mi padre me ayudó, y me libró del cuchillo de Faraón.
18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:
18:5 Y Jethro el suegro de Moisés, con sus hijos y su mujer, llegó á Moisés en el desierto, donde tenía el campo junto al monte de Dios;
18:5 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God:
18:6 Y dijo á Moisés: Yo tu suegro Jethro vengo á ti, con tu mujer, y sus dos hijos con ella.
18:6 And he said unto Moses, I your father in law Jethro am come unto you, and your wife, and her two sons with her.
18:7 Y Moisés salió á recibir á su suegro, é inclinóse, y besólo: y preguntáronse el uno al otro cómo estaban, y vinieron á la tienda.
18:7 And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did reverence, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.
18:8 Y Moisés contó á su suegro todas las cosas que Jehová había hecho á Faraón y á los Egipcios por amor de Israel, y todo el trabajo que habían pasado en el camino, y cómo los había librado Jehová.
18:8 And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.
18:9 Y alegróse Jethro de todo el bien que Jehová había hecho á Israel, que lo había librado de mano de los Egipcios.
18:9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
18:10 Y Jethro dijo: Bendito sea Jehová, que os libró de mano de los Egipcios, y de la mano de Faraón, y que libró al pueblo de la mano de los Egipcios.
18:10 And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
18:11 Ahora conozco que Jehová es grande más que todos los dioses; hasta en lo que se ensoberbecieron contra ellos.
18:11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.
18:12 Y tomó Jethro, suegro de Moisés, holocaustos y sacrificios para Dios: y vino Aarón y todos los ancianos de Israel á comer pan con el suegro de Moisés delante de Dios.
18:12 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God.
18:13 Y aconteció que otro día se sentó Moisés á juzgar al pueblo; y el pueblo estuvo delante de Moisés desde la mañana hasta la tarde.
18:13 And it came to pass on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.
18:14 Y viendo el suegro de Moisés todo lo que él hacía con el pueblo, dijo: ¿Qué es esto que haces tú con el pueblo? ¿por qué te sientas tú solo, y todo el pueblo está delante de ti desde la mañana hasta la tarde?
18:14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that you do to the people? why sit you yourself alone, and all the people stand by you from morning unto even?
18:15 Y Moisés respondió á su suegro: Porque el pueblo viene á mí para consultar á Dios:
18:15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:
18:16 Cuando tienen negocios, vienen á mí; y yo juzgo entre el uno y el otro, y declaro las ordenanzas de Dios y sus leyes.
18:16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
18:17 Entonces el suegro de Moisés le dijo: No haces bien:
18:17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that you do is not good.
18:18 Desfallecerás del todo, tú, y también este pueblo que está contigo; porque el negocio es demasiado pesado para ti; no podrás hacerlo tú solo.
18:18 You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you: for this thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it yourself alone.
18:19 Oye ahora mi voz; yo te aconsejaré, y Dios será contigo. Está tú por el pueblo delante de Dios, y somete tú los negocios á Dios.
18:19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give you counsel, and God shall be with you: Be you for the people toward God, that you may bring the causes unto God:
18:20 Y enseña á ellos las ordenanzas y las leyes, y muéstrales el camino por donde anden, y lo que han de hacer.
18:20 And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
18:21 Además inquiere tú de entre todo el pueblo varones de virtud, temerosos de Dios, varones de verdad, que aborrezcan la avaricia; y constituirás á éstos sobre ellos caporales sobre mil, sobre ciento, sobre cincuenta y sobre diez.
18:21 Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
18:22 Los cuales juzgarán al pueblo en todo tiempo; y será que todo negocio grave lo traerán á ti, y ellos juzgarán todo negocio pequeño: alivia así la carga de sobre ti, y llevarla han ellos contigo.
18:22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto you, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for yourself, and they shall bear the burden with you.
18:23 Si esto hicieres, y Dios te lo mandare, tú podrás persistir, y todo este pueblo se irá también en paz á su lugar.
18:23 If you shall do this thing, and God command you so, then you shall be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
18:24 Y oyó Moisés la voz de su suegro, é hizo todo lo que dijo.
18:24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
18:25 Y escogió Moisés varones de virtud de todo Israel, y púsolos por cabezas sobre el pueblo, caporales sobre mil, sobre ciento, sobre cincuenta, y sobre diez.
18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
18:26 Y juzgaban al pueblo en todo tiempo: el negocio árduo traíanlo á Moisés, y ellos juzgaban todo negocio pequeño.
18:26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
18:27 Y despidió Moisés á su suegro, y fuése á su tierra.
18:27 And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.

19:1 AL mes tercero de la salida de los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto, en aquel día vinieron al desierto de Sinaí.
19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
19:2 Porque partieron de Rephidim, y llegaron al desierto de Sinaí, y asentaron en el desierto; y acampó allí Israel delante del monte.
19:2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
19:3 Y Moisés subió á Dios; y Jehová lo llamó desde el monte, diciendo: Así dirás á la casa de Jacob, y denunciarás á los hijos de Israel:
19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
19:4 Vosotros visteis lo que hice á los Egipcios, y cómo os tomé sobre alas de águilas, y os he traído á mí.
19:4 All of you have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
19:5 Ahora pues, si diereis oído á mi voz, y guardareis mi pacto, vosotros seréis mi especial tesoro sobre todos los pueblos; porque mía es toda la tierra.
19:5 Now therefore, if all of you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then all of you shall be an exclusive treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
19:6 Y vosotros seréis mi reino de sacerdotes, y gente santa. Estas son las palabras que dirás á los hijos de Israel.
19:6 And all of you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.
19:7 Entonces vino Moisés, y llamó á los ancianos del pueblo, y propuso en presencia de ellos todas estas palabras que Jehová le había mandado.
19:7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
19:8 Y todo el pueblo respondió á una, y dijeron: Todo lo que Jehová ha dicho haremos. Y Moisés refirió las palabras del pueblo á Jehová.
19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
19:9 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: He aquí, yo vengo á ti en una nube espesa, para que el pueblo oiga mientras yo hablo contigo, y también para que te crean para siempre. Y Moisés denunció las palabras del pueblo á Jehová.
19:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
19:10 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Ve al pueblo, y santifícalos hoy y mañana, y laven sus vestidos;
19:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,
19:11 Y estén apercibidos para el día tercero, porque al tercer día Jehová descenderá, á ojos de todo el pueblo, sobre el monte de Sinaí.
19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
19:12 Y señalarás término al pueblo en derredor, diciendo: Guardaos, no subáis al monte, ni toquéis á su término: cualquiera que tocare el monte, de seguro morirá:
19:12 And you shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that all of you go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death:
19:13 No le tocará mano, mas será apedreado ó asaeteado; sea animal ó sea hombre, no vivirá. En habiendo sonado largamente la bocina, subirán al monte.
19:13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mount.
19:14 Y descendió Moisés del monte al pueblo, y santificó al pueblo; y lavaron sus vestidos.
19:14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
19:15 Y dijo al pueblo: Estad apercibidos para el tercer día; no lleguéis á mujer.
19:15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
19:16 Y aconteció al tercer día cuando vino la mañana, que vinieron truenos y relámpagos, y espesa nube sobre el monte, y sonido de bocina muy fuerte; y estremecióse todo el pueblo que estaba en el real.
19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
19:17 Y Moisés sacó del real al pueblo á recibir á Dios; y pusiéronse á lo bajo del monte.
19:17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
19:18 Y todo el monte de Sinaí humeaba, porque Jehová había descendido sobre él en fuego: y el humo de él subía como el humo de un horno, y todo el monte se estremeció en gran manera.
19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether smoking, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
19:19 Y el sonido de la bocina iba esforzándose en extremo: Moisés hablaba, y Dios le respondía en voz.
19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
19:20 Y descendió Jehová sobre el monte de Sinaí, sobre la cumbre del monte: y llamó Jehová á Moisés á la cumbre del monte, y Moisés subió.
19:20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
19:21 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Desciende, requiere al pueblo que no traspasen el término por ver á Jehová, porque caerá multitud de ellos.
19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
19:22 Y también los sacerdotes que se llegan á Jehová, se santifiquen, porque Jehová no haga en ellos estrago.
19:22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.
19:23 Y Moisés dijo á Jehová: El pueblo no podrá subir al monte de Sinaí, porque tú nos has requerido diciendo: Señala términos al monte, y santifícalo.
19:23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for you charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
19:24 Y Jehová le dijo: Ve, desciende, y subirás tú, y Aarón contigo: mas los sacerdotes y el pueblo no traspasen el término por subir á Jehová, porque no haga en ellos estrago.
19:24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get you down, and you shall come up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.
19:25 Entonces Moisés descendió al pueblo y habló con ellos.
19:25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spoke unto them.

20:1 Y HABLO Dios todas estas palabras, diciendo:
20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
20:2 Yo soy JEHOVA tu Dios, que te saqué de la tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos.
20:2 I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
20:3 No tendrás dioses ajenos delante de mí.
20:3 You shall have no other gods before me.
20:4 No te harás imagen, ni ninguna semejanza de cosa que esté arriba en el cielo, ni abajo en la tierra, ni en las aguas debajo de la tierra:
20:4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
20:5 No te inclinarás á ellas, ni las honrarás; porque yo soy Jehová tu Dios, fuerte, celoso, que visito la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos, sobre los terceros y sobre los cuartos, á los que me aborrecen,
20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
20:6 Y que hago misericordia en millares á los que me aman, y guardan mis mandamientos.
20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
20:7 No tomarás el nombre de Jehová tu Dios en vano; porque no dará por inocente Jehová al que tomare su nombre en vano.
20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.
20:8 Acordarte has del día del reposo, para santificarlo:
20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:9 Seis días trabajarás, y harás toda tu obra;
20:9 Six days shall you labour, and do all your work:
20:10 Mas el séptimo día será reposo para Jehová tu Dios: no hagas en él obra alguna, tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu criada, ni tu bestia, ni tu extranjero que está dentro de tus puertas:
20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
20:11 Porque en seis días hizo Jehová los cielos y la tierra, la mar y todas las cosas que en ellos hay, y reposó en el séptimo día: por tanto Jehová bendijo el día del reposo y lo santificó.
20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
20:12 Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, porque tus días se alarguen en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.
20:12 Honour your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
20:13 No matarás.
20:13 You shall not kill.
20:14 No cometerás adulterio.
20:14 You shall not commit adultery.
20:15 No hurtarás.
20:15 You shall not steal.
20:16 No hablarás contra tu prójimo falso testimonio.
20:16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
20:17 No codiciarás la casa de tu prójimo, no codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, ni su siervo, ni su criada, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni cosa alguna de tu prójimo.
20:17 You shall not covet your neighbour's house, you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour's.
20:18 Todo el pueblo consideraba las voces, y las llamas, y el sonido de la bocina, y el monte que humeaba: y viéndolo el pueblo, temblaron, y pusiéronse de lejos.
20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood far off.
20:19 Y dijeron á Moisés: Habla tú con nosotros, que nosotros oiremos; mas no hable Dios con nosotros, porque no muramos.
20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
20:20 Y Moisés respondió al pueblo: No temáis; que por probaros vino Dios, y porque su temor esté en vuestra presencia para que no pequéis.
20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God has come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that all of you sin not.
20:21 Entonces el pueblo se puso de lejos, y Moisés se llegó á la osbcuridad en la cual estaba Dios.
20:21 And the people stood far off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
20:22 Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Así dirás á los hijos de Israel: Vosotros habéis visto que he hablado desde el cielo con vosotros.
20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus you shall say unto the children of Israel, All of you have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
20:23 No hagáis conmigo dioses de plata, ni dioses de oro os haréis.
20:23 All of you shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall all of you make unto you gods of gold.
20:24 Altar de tierra harás para mí, y sacrificarás sobre él tus holocaustos y tus pacíficos, tus ovejas y tus vacas: en cualquier lugar donde yo hiciere que esté la memoria de mi nombre, vendré á ti, y te bendeciré.
20:24 An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and yours oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto you, and I will bless you.
20:25 Y si me hicieres altar de piedras, no las labres de cantería; porque si alzares tu pico sobre él, tú lo profanarás.
20:25 And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.
20:26 Y no subirás por gradas á mi altar, porque tu desnudez no sea junto á él descubierta.
20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps unto mine altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon.

21:1 Y ESTOS son los derechos que les propondrás.
21:1 Now these are the judgments which you shall set before them.
21:2 Si comprares siervo hebreo, seis años servirá; mas al séptimo saldrá horro de balde.
21:2 If you buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
21:3 Si entró solo, solo saldrá: si tenía mujer, saldrá él y su mujer con él.
21:3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
21:4 Si su amo le hubiere dado mujer, y ella le hubiere parido hijos ó hijas, la mujer y sus hijos serán de su amo, y él saldrá solo.
21:4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.
21:5 Y si el siervo dijere: Yo amo á mi señor, á mi mujer y á mis hijos, no saldré libre:
21:5 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
21:6 Entonces su amo lo hará llegar á los jueces, y harále llegar á la puerta ó al poste; y su amo le horadará la oreja con lesna, y será su siervo para siempre.
21:6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
21:7 Y cuando alguno vendiere su hija por sierva, no saldrá como suelen salir los siervos.
21:7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.
21:8 Si no agradare á su señor, por lo cual no la tomó por esposa, permitirle ha que se rescate, y no la podrá vender á pueblo extraño cuando la desechare.
21:8 If she please not her master, who has betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he has dealt deceitfully with her.
21:9 Mas si la hubiere desposado con su hijo, hará con ella según la costumbre de las hijas.
21:9 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
21:10 Si le tomare otra, no disminuirá su alimento, ni su vestido, ni el débito conyugal.
21:10 If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
21:11 Y si ninguna de estas tres cosas hiciere, ella saldrá de gracia sin dinero.
21:11 And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.
21:12 El que hiriere á alguno, haciéndole así morir, él morirá.
21:12 He that strikes a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
21:13 Mas el que no armó asechanzas, sino que Dios lo puso en sus manos, entonces yo te señalaré lugar al cual ha de huir.
21:13 And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.
21:14 Además, si alguno se ensoberbeciere contra su prójimo, y lo matare con alevosía, de mi altar lo quitarás para que muera.
21:14 But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; you shall take him from mine altar, that he may die.
21:15 Y el que hiriere á su padre ó á su madre, morirá.
21:15 And he that strikes his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
21:16 Asimismo el que robare una persona, y la vendiere, ó se hallare en sus manos, morirá.
21:16 And he that steals a man, and sells him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
21:17 Igualmente el que maldijere á su padre ó á su madre, morirá.
21:17 And he that curses his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.
21:18 Además, si algunos riñeren, y alguno hiriere á su prójimo con piedra ó con el puño, y no muriere, pero cayere en cama;
21:18 And if men strive together, and one strike another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keeps his bed:
21:19 Si se levantare y anduviere fuera sobre su báculo, entonces será el que le hirió absuelto: solamente le satisfará lo que estuvo parado, y hará que le curen.
21:19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that stroke him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
21:20 Y si alguno hiriere á su siervo ó á su sierva con palo, y muriere bajo de su mano, será castigado:
21:20 And if a man strike his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
21:21 Mas si durare por un día ó dos, no será castigado, porque su dinero es.
21:21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.
21:22 Si algunos riñeren, é hiriesen á mujer preñada, y ésta abortare, pero sin haber muerte, será penado conforme á lo que le impusiere el marido de la mujer y juzgaren los árbitros.
21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
21:23 Mas si hubiere muerte, entonces pagarás vida por vida,
21:23 And if any mischief follow, then you shall give life for life,
21:24 Ojo por ojo, diente por diente, mano por mano, pie por pie,
21:24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
21:25 Quemadura por quemadura, herida por herida, golpe por golpe.
21:25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
21:26 Y cuando alguno hiriere el ojo de su siervo, ó el ojo de su sierva, y lo entortare, darále libertad por razón de su ojo.
21:26 And if a man strike the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.
21:27 Y si sacare el diente de su siervo, ó el diente de su sierva, por su diente le dejará ir libre.
21:27 And if he strike out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.
21:28 Si un buey acorneare hombre ó mujer, y de resultas muriere, el buey será apedreado, y no se comerá su carne; mas el dueño del buey será absuelto.
21:28 If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.
21:29 Pero si el buey era acorneador desde ayer y antes de ayer, y á su dueño le fué hecho requerimiento, y no lo hubiere guardado, y matare hombre ó mujer, el buey será apedreado, y también morirá su dueño.
21:29 But if the ox were known to push with his horn in time past, and it has been testified to his owner, and he has not kept him in, but that he has killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.
21:30 Si le fuere impuesto rescate, entonces dará por el rescate de su persona cuanto le fuere impuesto.
21:30 If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.
21:31 Haya acorneado hijo, ó haya acorneado hija, conforme á este juicio se hará con él.
21:31 Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.
21:32 Si el buey acorneare siervo ó sierva, pagará treinta siclos de plata su señor, y el buey será apedreado.
21:32 If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.
21:33 Y si alguno abriere hoyo, ó cavare cisterna, y no la cubriere, y cayere allí buey ó asno,
21:33 And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;
21:34 El dueño de la cisterna pagará el dinero, resarciendo á su dueño, y lo que fue muerto será suyo.
21:34 The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.
21:35 Y si el buey de alguno hiriere al buey de su prójimo, y éste muriere, entonces venderán el buey vivo, y partirán el dinero de él, y también partirán el muerto.
21:35 And if one man's ox hurt another's, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.
21:36 Mas si era notorio que el buey era acorneador de ayer y antes de ayer, y su dueño no lo hubiere guardado, pagará buey por buey, y el muerto será suyo.
21:36 Or if it be known that the ox has used to push in time past, and his owner has not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.

22:1 CUANDO alguno hurtare buey ú oveja, y le degollare ó vendiere, por aquel buey pagará cinco bueyes, y por aquella oveja cuatro ovejas.
22:1 If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
22:2 Si el ladrón fuere hallado forzando una casa, y fuere herido y muriere, el que le hirió no será culpado de su muerte.
22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
22:3 Si el sol hubiere sobre él salido, el matador será reo de homicidio: el ladrón habrá de restituir cumplidamente; si no tuviere, será vendido por su hurto.
22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
22:4 Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.
22:4 If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
22:5 Si alguno hiciere pacer campo ó viña, y metiere su bestia, y comiere la tierra de otro, de lo mejor de su tierra y de lo mejor de su viña pagará.
22:5 If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
22:6 Cuando rompiere un fuego, y hallare espinas, y fuere quemado montón, ó haza, ó campo, el que encendió el fuego pagará lo quemado.
22:6 If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
22:7 Cuando alguno diere á su prójimo plata ó alhajas á guardar, y fuere hurtado de la casa de aquel hombre, si el ladrón se hallare, pagará el doble.
22:7 If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
22:8 Si el ladrón no se hallare, entonces el dueño de la casa será presentado á los jueces, para ver si ha metido su mano en la hacienda de su prójimo.
22:8 If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour's goods.
22:9 Sobre todo negocio de fraude, sobre buey, sobre asno, sobre oveja, sobre vestido, sobre toda cosa perdida, cuando uno dijere: Esto es mío, la causa de ambos vendrá delante de los jueces; y el que los jueces condenaren, pagará el doble á su prójimo.
22:9 For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing which another challenges to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
22:10 Si alguno hubiere dado á su prójimo asno, ó buey, ú oveja, ó cualquier otro animal á guardar, y se muriere ó se perniquebrare, ó fuere llevado sin verlo nadie;
22:10 If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
22:11 Juramento de Jehová tendrá lugar entre ambos de que no echó su mano á la hacienda de su prójimo: y su dueño lo aceptará, y el otro no pagará.
22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he has not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
22:12 Mas si le hubiere sido hurtado, resarcirá á su dueño.
22:12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.
22:13 Y si le hubiere sido arrebatado por fiera, traerle ha testimonio, y no pagará lo arrebatado.
22:13 If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
22:14 Pero si alguno hubiere tomado prestada bestia de su prójimo, y fuere estropeada ó muerta, ausente su dueño, deberá pagar la.
22:14 And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
22:15 Si el dueño estaba presente, no la pagará. Si era alquilada, él vendrá por su alquiler.
22:15 But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
22:16 Y si alguno engañare á alguna doncella que no fuere desposada, y durmiere con ella, deberá dotarla y tomarla por mujer.
22:16 And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely secure her to be his wife.
22:17 Si su padre no quisiere dársela, él le pesará plata conforme al dote de las vírgenes.
22:17 If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.
22:18 A la hechicera no dejarás que viva.
22:18 You shall not suffer a witch to live.
22:19 Cualquiera que tuviere ayuntamiento con bestia, morirá.
22:19 Whosoever lies with a beast shall surely be put to death.
22:20 El que sacrificare á dioses, excepto á sólo Jehová, será muerto.
22:20 He that sacrifices unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
22:21 Y al extranjero no engañarás, ni angustiarás, porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en la tierra de Egipto.
22:21 You shall neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for all of you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
22:22 A ninguna viuda ni huérfano afligiréis.
22:22 All of you shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
22:23 Que si tú llegas á afligirle, y él á mí clamare, ciertamente oiré yo su clamor;
22:23 If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
22:24 Y mi furor se encenderá, y os mataré á cuchillo, y vuestras mujeres serán viudas, y huérfanos vuestros hijos.
22:24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
22:25 Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.
22:25 If you lend money to any of my people that is poor by you, you shall not be to him as an usurer, neither shall you lay upon him interest.
22:26 Si tomares en prenda el vestido de tu prójimo, á puestas del sol se lo volverás:
22:26 If you at all take your neighbour's raiment to pledge, you shall deliver it unto him by that the sun goes down:
22:27 Porque sólo aquello es su cubierta, es aquel el vestido para cubrir sus carnes, en el que ha de dormir: y será que cuando él á mí clamare, yo entonces le oiré, porque soy misericordioso.
22:27 For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he cries unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
22:28 No denostarás á los jueces, ni maldecirás al príncipe de tu pueblo.
22:28 You shall not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of your people.
22:29 No dilatarás la primicia de tu cosecha, ni de tu licor, me darás el primogénito de tus hijos.
22:29 You shall not delay to offer the first of your ripe fruits, and of your liquors: the firstborn of your sons shall you give unto me.
22:30 Así harás con el de tu buey y de tu oveja: siete días estará con su madre, y al octavo día me lo darás.
22:30 Likewise shall you do with yours oxen, and with your sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day you shall give it me.
22:31 Y habéis de serme varones santos: y no comeréis carne arrebatada de las fieras en el campo; á los perros la echaréis.
22:31 And all of you shall be holy men unto me: neither shall all of you eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; all of you shall cast it to the dogs.

23:1 NO admitirás falso rumor. No te concertarás con el impío para ser testigo falso.
23:1 You shall not raise a false report: put not yours hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
23:2 No seguirás á los muchos para mal hacer; ni responderás en litigio inclinándote á los más para hacer agravios;
23:2 You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you speak in a cause to decline after many to shift judgment:
23:3 Ni al pobre distinguirás en su causa.
23:3 Neither shall you countenance a poor man in his cause.
23:4 Si encontrares el buey de tu enemigo ó su asno extraviado, vuelve á llevárselo.
23:4 If you meet yours enemy's ox or his ass going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.
23:5 Si vieres el asno del que te aborrece caído debajo de su carga, ¿le dejarás entonces desamparado? Sin falta ayudarás con él á levantarlo.
23:5 If you see the ass of him that hates you lying under his burden, and would forbear to help him, you shall surely help with him.
23:6 No pervertirás el derecho de tu mendigo en su pleito.
23:6 You shall not shift the judgment of your poor in his cause.
23:7 De palabra de mentira te alejarás, y no matarás al inocente y justo; porque yo no justificaré al impío.
23:7 Keep you far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay you not: for I will not justify the wicked.
23:8 No recibirás presente; porque el presente ciega á los que ven, y pervierte las palabras justas.
23:8 And you shall take no gift: for the gift blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
23:9 Y no angustiarás al extranjero: pues vosotros sabéis cómo se halla el alma del extranjero, ya que extranjeros fuisteis en la tierra de Egipto.
23:9 Also you shall not oppress a stranger: for all of you know the heart of a stranger, seeing all of you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
23:10 Seis años sembrarás tu tierra, y allegarás su cosecha:
23:10 And six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in the fruits thereof:
23:11 Mas el séptimo la dejarás vacante y soltarás, para que coman los pobres de tu pueblo; y de lo que quedare comerán las bestias del campo; así harás de tu viña y de tu olivar.
23:11 But the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie still; that the poor of your people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner you shall deal with your vineyard, and with your olive yard.
23:12 Seis días harás tus negocios, y al séptimo día holgarás, á fin que descanse tu buey y tu asno, y tome refrigerio el hijo de tu sierva, y el extranjero.
23:12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest: that yours ox and yours ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
23:13 Y en todo lo que os he dicho seréis avisados. Y nombre de otros dioses no mentaréis, ni se oirá de vuestra boca.
23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.
23:14 Tres veces en el año me celebraréis fiesta.
23:14 Three times you shall keep a feast unto me in the year.
23:15 La fiesta de los ázimos guardarás: Siete días comerás los panes sin levadura, como yo te mandé, en el tiempo del mes de Abib; porque en él saliste de Egipto: y ninguno comparecerá vacío delante de mí:
23:15 You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it you came out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
23:16 También la fiesta de la siega, los primeros frutos de tus labores que hubieres sembrado en el campo; y la fiesta de la cosecha á la salida del año, cuando habrás recogido tus labores del campo.
23:16 And the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of your labours, which you have sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when you have gathered in your labours out of the field.
23:17 Tres veces en el año parecerá todo varón tuyo delante del Señor Jehová.
23:17 Three items in the year all your males shall appear before the LORD God.
23:18 No ofrecerás con pan leudo la sangre de mi sacrificio, ni el sebo de mi víctima quedará de la noche hasta la mañana.
23:18 You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
23:19 Las primicias de los primeros frutos de tu tierra traerás á la casa de Jehová tu Dios. No guisarás el cabrito con la leche de su madre.
23:19 The first of the first-fruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
23:20 He aquí yo envío el Angel delante de ti para que te guarde en el camino, y te introduzca en el lugar que yo he preparado.
23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.
23:21 Guárdate delante de él, y oye su voz; no le seas rebelde; porque él no perdonará vuestra rebelión: porque mi nombre está en él.
23:21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
23:22 Pero si en verdad oyeres su voz, é hicieres todo lo que yo te dijere, seré enemigo á tus enemigos, y afligiré á los que te afligieren.
23:22 But if you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto yours enemies, and an adversary unto yours adversaries.
23:23 Porque mi Angel irá delante de ti, y te introducirá al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Cananeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo, á los cuales yo haré destruir.
23:23 For mine Angel shall go before you, and bring you in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
23:24 No te inclinarás á sus dioses, ni los servirás, ni harás como ellos hacen; antes los destruirás del todo, y quebrantarás enteramente sus estatuas.
23:24 You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but you shall utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
23:25 Mas á Jehová vuestro Dios serviréis, y él bendecirá tu pan y tus aguas; y yo quitaré toda enfermedad de en medio de ti.
23:25 And all of you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
23:26 No habrá mujer que aborte, ni estéril en tu tierra; y yo cumpliré el número de tus días.
23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: the number of your days I will fulfill.
23:27 Yo enviaré mi terror delante de ti, y consternaré á todo pueblo donde tú entrares, y te daré la cerviz de todos tus enemigos.
23:27 I will send my fear before you, and will destroy all the people to whom you shall come, and I will make all yours enemies turn their backs unto you.
23:28 Yo enviaré la avispa delante de ti, que eche fuera al Heveo, y al Cananeo, y al Hetheo, de delante de ti:
23:28 And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before you.
23:29 No los echaré de delante de ti en un año, porque no quede la tierra desierta, y se aumenten contra ti las bestias del campo.
23:29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against you.
23:30 Poco á poco los echaré de delante de ti, hasta que te multipliques y tomes la tierra por heredad.
23:30 By little and little I will drive them out from before you, until you be increased, and inherit the land.
23:31 Y yo pondré tu término desde el mar Bermejo hasta la mar de Palestina, y desde el desierto hasta el río: porque pondré en vuestras manos los moradores de la tierra, y tú los echarás de delante de ti.
23:31 And I will set your bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and you shall drive them out before you.
23:32 No harás alianza con ellos, ni con sus dioses.
23:32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
23:33 En tu tierra no habitarán, no sea que te hagan pecar contra mí sirviendo á sus dioses: porque te será de tropiezo.
23:33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me: for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto you.

24:1 Y DIJO á Moisés: Sube á Jehová, tú, y Aarón, Nadab, y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel; y os inclinaréis desde lejos.
24:1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship all of you far off.
24:2 Mas Moisés sólo se llegará á Jehová; y ellos no se lleguen cerca, ni suba con él el pueblo.
24:2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
24:3 Y Moisés vino y contó al pueblo todas las palabras de Jehová, y todos los derechos: y todo el pueblo respondió á una voz, y dijeron: Ejecutaremos todas las palabras que Jehová ha dicho.
24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD has said will we do.
24:4 Y Moisés escribió todas las palabras de Jehová, y levantándose de mañana edificó un altar al pie del monte, y doce columnas, según las doce tribus de Israel.
24:4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
24:5 Y envió á los mancebos de los hijos de Israel, los cuales ofrecieron holocaustos y sacrificaron pacíficos á Jehová, becerros.
24:5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
24:6 Y Moisés tomó la mitad de la sangre, y púsola en tazones, y esparció la otra mitad de la sangre sobre el altar.
24:6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
24:7 Y tomó el libro de la alianza, y leyó á oídos del pueblo, el cual dijo: Haremos todas las cosas que Jehová ha dicho, y obedeceremos.
24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD has said will we do, and be obedient.
24:8 Entonces Moisés tomó la sangre, y roció sobre el pueblo, y dijo: He aquí la sangre de la alianza que Jehová ha hecho con vosotros sobre todas estas cosas.
24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.
24:9 Y subieron Moisés y Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel;
24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
24:10 Y vieron al Dios de Israel; y había debajo de sus pies como un embaldosado de zafiro, semejante al cielo cuando está sereno.
24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
24:11 Mas no extendió su mano sobre los príncipes de los hijos de Israel: y vieron á Dios, y comieron y bebieron.
24:11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
24:12 Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Sube á mí al monte, y espera allá, y te daré tablas de piedra, y la ley, y mandamientos que he escrito para enseñarlos.
24:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give you tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that you may teach them.
24:13 Y levantóse Moisés, y Josué su ministro; y Moisés subió al monte de Dios.
24:13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
24:14 Y dijo á los ancianos: Esperadnos aquí hasta que volvamos á vosotros: y he aquí Aarón y Hur están con vosotros: el que tuviere negocios, lléguese á ellos.
24:14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry all of you here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
24:15 Entonces Moisés subió al monte, y una nube cubrió el monte.
24:15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
24:16 Y la gloria de Jehová reposó sobre el monte Sinaí, y la nube lo cubrió por seis días: y al séptimo día llamó á Moisés de en medio de la nube.
24:16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
24:17 Y el parecer de la gloria de Jehová era como un fuego abrasador en la cumbre del monte, á los ojos de los hijos de Israel.
24:17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
24:18 Y entró Moisés en medio de la nube, y subió al monte: y estuvo Moisés en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches.
24:18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and got him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

25:1 Y JEHOVA habló á Moisés, diciendo:
25:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
25:2 Di á los hijos de Israel que tomen para mí ofrenda: de todo varón que la diere de su voluntad, de corazón, tomaréis mi ofrenda.
25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that gives it willingly with his heart all of you shall take my offering.
25:3 Y esta es la ofrenda que tomaréis de ellos: Oro, y plata, y cobre,
25:3 And this is the offering which all of you shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
25:4 Y jacinto, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino fino, y pelo de cabras,
25:4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
25:5 Y cueros de carneros teñidos de rojo, y cueros de tejones, y madera de Sittim;
25:5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
25:6 Aceite para la luminaria, especias para el aceite de la unción, y para el sahumerio aromático;
25:6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
25:7 Piedras de onix, y piedras de engastes, para el ephod, y para el racional.
25:7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
25:8 Y hacerme han un santuario, y yo habitaré entre ellos.
25:8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
25:9 Conforme á todo lo que yo te mostrare, el diseño del tabernáculo, y el diseño de todos sus vasos, así lo haréis.
25:9 According to all that I show you, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall all of you make it.
25:10 Harán también un arca de madera de Sittim, cuya longitud será de dos codos y medio, y su anchura de codo y medio, y su altura de codo y medio.
25:10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
25:11 Y la cubrirás de oro puro; por dentro y por fuera la cubrirás; y harás sobre ella una cornisa de oro alrededor.
25:11 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, within and without shall you overlay it, and shall make upon it a crown of gold round about.
25:12 Y para ella harás de fundición cuatro anillos de oro, que pondrás á sus cuatro esquinas; dos anillos al un lado de ella, y dos anillos al otro lado.
25:12 And you shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
25:13 Y harás unas varas de madera de Sittim, las cuales cubrirás de oro.
25:13 And you shall make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
25:14 Y meterás las varas por los anillos á los lados del arca, para llevar el arca con ellas.
25:14 And you shall put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
25:15 Las varas se estarán en los anillos del arca: no se quitarán de ella.
25:15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
25:16 Y pondrás en el arca el testimonio que yo te daré.
25:16 And you shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you.
25:17 Y harás una cubierta de oro fino, cuya longitud será de dos codos y medio, y su anchura de codo y medio.
25:17 And you shall make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
25:18 Harás también dos querubines de oro, labrados á martillo los harás, en los dos cabos de la cubierta.
25:18 And you shall make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shall you make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
25:19 Harás, pues, un querubín al extremo de un lado, y un querubín al otro extremo del lado opuesto: de la calidad de la cubierta harás los querubines en sus dos extremidades.
25:19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall all of you make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
25:20 Y los querubines extenderán por encima las alas, cubriendo con sus alas la cubierta: sus caras la una enfrente de la otra, mirando á la cubierta las caras de los querubines.
25:20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
25:21 Y pondrás la cubierta encima del arca, y en el arca pondrás el testimonio que yo te daré.
25:21 And you shall put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you.
25:22 Y de allí me declararé á ti, y hablaré contigo de sobre la cubierta, de entre los dos querubines que están sobre el arca del testimonio, todo lo que yo te mandaré para los hijos de Israel.
25:22 And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Israel.
25:23 Harás asimismo una mesa de madera de Sittim: su longitud será de dos codos, y de uu codo su anchura, y su altura de codo y medio.
25:23 You shall also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
25:24 Y la cubrirás de oro puro, y le has de hacer una cornisa de oro alrededor.
25:24 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
25:25 Hacerle has también una moldura alrededor, del ancho de una mano, á la cual moldura harás una cornisa de oro en circunferencia.
25:25 And you shall make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and you shall make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
25:26 Y le harás cuatro anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás á las cuatro esquinas que corresponden á sus cuatro pies.
25:26 And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.
25:27 Los anillos estarán antes de la moldura, por lugares de las varas, para llevar la mesa.
25:27 Opposite to the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
25:28 Y harás las varas de madera de Sittim, y las cubrirás de oro, y con ellas será llevada la mesa.
25:28 And you shall make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
25:29 Harás también sus platos, y sus cucharas, y sus cubiertas, y sus tazones, con que se libará: de oro fino los harás.
25:29 And you shall make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover likewise: of pure gold shall you make them.
25:30 Y pondrás sobre la mesa el pan de la proposición delante de mí continuamente.
25:30 And you shall set upon the table showbread before me always.
25:31 Harás además un candelero de oro puro; labrado á martillo se hará el candelero: su pie, y su caña, sus copas, sus manzanas, y sus flores, serán de lo mismo:
25:31 And you shall make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
25:32 Y saldrán seis brazos de sus lados: tres brazos del candelero del un lado suyo, y tres brazos del candelero del otro su lado:
25:32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
25:33 Tres copas en forma de almendras en el un brazo, una manzana y una flor; y tres copas, figura de almendras en el otro brazo, una manzana y una flor: así pues, en los seis brazos que salen del candelero:
25:33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a the shape of round apples and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a the shape of round apples and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
25:34 Y en el candelero cuatro copas en forma de almendras, sus manzanas y sus flores.
25:34 And in the candlesticks shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
25:35 Habrá una manzana debajo de los dos brazos de lo mismo, otra manzana debajo de los otros dos brazos de lo mismo, y otra manzana debajo de los otros dos brazos de lo mismo, en conformidad á los seis brazos que salen del candelero.
25:35 And there shall be a the shape of round apples under two branches of the same, and a the shape of round apples under two branches of the same, and a the shape of round apples under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
25:36 Sus manzanas y sus brazos serán de lo mismo, todo ello una pieza labrada á martillo, de oro puro.
25:36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
25:37 Y hacerle has siete candilejas, las cuales encenderás para que alumbren á la parte de su delantera:
25:37 And you shall make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light opposite to it.
25:38 También sus despabiladeras y sus platillos, de oro puro.
25:38 And the tongs thereof, and the intruments for snuffings thereof, shall be of pure gold.
25:39 De un talento de oro fino lo harás, con todos estos vasos.
25:39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
25:40 Y mira, y hazlos conforme á su modelo, que te ha sido mostrado en el monte.
25:40 And look that you make them after their pattern, which was showed you in the mount.

26:1 Y HARAS el tabernáculo de diez cortinas de lino torcido, cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí: y harás querubines de obra delicada.
26:1 Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shall you make them.
26:2 La longitud de la una cortina de veintiocho codos, y la anchura de la misma cortina de cuatro codos: todas las cortinas tendrán una medida.
26:2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
26:3 Cinco cortinas estarán juntas la una con la otra, y cinco cortinas unidas la una con la otra.
26:3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
26:4 Y harás lazadas de cárdeno en la orilla de la una cortina, en el borde, en la juntura: y así harás en la orilla de la postrera cortina en la juntura segunda.
26:4 And you shall make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shall you make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
26:5 Cincuenta lazadas harás en la una cortina, y cincuenta lazadas harás en el borde de la cortina que está en la segunda juntura: las lazadas estarán contrapuestas la una á la otra.
26:5 Fifty loops shall you make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shall you make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
26:6 Harás también cincuenta corchetes de oro, con los cuales juntarás las cortinas la una con la otra, y se formará un tabernáculo.
26:6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains together with the clasps: and it shall be one tabernacle.
26:7 Harás asimismo cortinas de pelo de cabras para una cubierta sobre el tabernáculo; once cortinas harás.
26:7 And you shall make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shall you make.
26:8 La longitud de la una cortina será de treinta codos, y la anchura de la misma cortina de cuatro codos: una medida tendrán las once cortinas.
26:8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
26:9 Y juntarás las cinco cortinas aparte y las otras seis cortinas separadamente; y doblarás la sexta cortina delante de la faz del tabernáculo.
26:9 And you shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.
26:10 Y harás cincuenta lazadas en la orilla de la una cortina, al borde en la juntura, y cincuenta lazadas en la orilla de la segunda cortina en la otra juntura.
26:10 And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is utmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which joins the second.
26:11 Harás asimismo cincuenta corchetes de alambre, los cuales meterás por las lazadas: y juntarás la tienda, para que se haga una sola cubierta.
26:11 And you shall make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
26:12 Y el sobrante que resulta en las cortinas de la tienda, la mitad de la una cortina que sobra, quedará á las espaldas del tabernáculo.
26:12 And the remnant that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.
26:13 Y un codo de la una parte, y otro codo de la otra que sobra en la longitud de las cortinas de la tienda, cargará sobre los lados del tabernáculo de la una parte y de la otra, para cubrirlo.
26:13 And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
26:14 Harás también á la tienda una cubierta de cueros de carneros, teñidos de rojo, y una cubierta de cueros de tejones encima.
26:14 And you shall make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
26:15 Y harás para el tabernáculo tablas de madera de Sittim, que estén derechas.
26:15 And you shall make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
26:16 La longitud de cada tabla será de diez codos, y de codo y medio la anchura de cada tabla.
26:16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.
26:17 Dos quicios tendrá cada tabla, trabadas la una con la otra; así harás todas las tablas del tabernáculo.
26:17 Two connections shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shall you make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
26:18 Harás, pues, las tablas del tabernáculo: veinte tablas al lado del mediodía, al austro.
26:18 And you shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
26:19 Y harás cuarenta basas de plata debajo de las veinte tablas; dos basas debajo de la una tabla para sus dos quicios, y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla para sus dos quicios.
26:19 And you shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two connections, and two sockets under another board for his two connections.
26:20 Y al otro lado del tabernáculo, á la parte del aquilón, veinte tablas;
26:20 And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:
26:21 Y sus cuarenta basas de plata: dos basas debajo de la una tabla, y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla.
26:21 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26:22 Y para el lado del tabernáculo, al occidente, harás seis tablas.
26:22 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards.
26:23 Harás además dos tablas para las esquinas del tabernáculo en los dos ángulos posteriores;
26:23 And two boards shall you make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
26:24 Las cuales se unirán por abajo, y asimismo se juntarán por su alto á un gozne: así será de las otras dos que estarán á las dos esquinas.
26:24 And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
26:25 De suerte que serán ocho tablas, con sus basas de plata, diez y seis basas; dos basas debajo de la una tabla, y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla.
26:25 And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26:26 Harás también cinco barras de madera de Sittim, para las tablas del un lado del tabernáculo,
26:26 And you shall make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
26:27 Y cinco barras para las tablas del otro lado del tabernáculo, y cinco barras para el otro lado del tabernáculo, que está al occidente.
26:27 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.
26:28 Y la barra del medio pasará por medio de las tablas, del un cabo al otro.
26:28 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end.
26:29 Y cubrirás las tablas de oro, y harás sus anillos de oro para meter por ellos las barras: también cubrirás las barras de oro.
26:29 And you shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the bars with gold.
26:30 Y alzarás el tabernáculo conforme á su traza que te fue mostrada en el monte.
26:30 And you shall rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was showed you in the mount.
26:31 Y harás también un velo de cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y de lino torcido: será hecho de primorosa labor, con querubines:
26:31 And you shall make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:
26:32 Y has de ponerlo sobre cuatro columnas de madera de Sittim cubiertas de oro; sus capiteles de oro, sobre basas de plata.
26:32 And you shall hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
26:33 Y pondrás el velo debajo de los corchetes, y meterás allí, del velo adentro, el arca del testimonio; y aquel velo os hará separación entre el lugar santo y el santísimo.
26:33 And you shall hang up the vail under the clasps, that you may bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.
26:34 Y pondrás la cubierta sobre el arca del testimonio en el lugar santísimo.
26:34 And you shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
26:35 Y pondrás la mesa fuera del velo, y el candelero enfrente de la mesa al lado del tabernáculo al mediodía; y pondrás la mesa al lado del aquilón.
26:35 And you shall set the table without the vail, and the candlestick opposite to the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and you shall put the table on the north side.
26:36 Y harás á la puerta del tabernáculo una cortina de cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido, obra de bordador.
26:36 And you shall make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
26:37 Y harás para la cortina cinco columnas de madera de Sittim, las cuales cubrirás de oro, con sus capiteles de oro: y hacerlas has de fundición cinco basas de metal.
26:37 And you shall make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and you shall cast five sockets of brass for them.

27:1 HARAS también altar de madera de Sittim de cinco codos de longitud, y de cinco codos de anchura: será cuadrado el altar, y su altura de tres codos.
27:1 And you shall make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.
27:2 Y harás sus cuernos á sus cuatro esquinas; los cuernos serán de lo mismo; y lo cubrirás de metal.
27:2 And you shall make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and you shall overlay it with brass.
27:3 Harás también sus calderas para echar su ceniza; y sus paletas, y sus tazones, y sus garfios, y sus braseros: harás todos sus vasos de metal.
27:3 And you shall make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his forks, and his fire-pans: all the vessels thereof you shall make of brass.
27:4 Y le harás un enrejado de metal de obra de malla; y sobre el enrejado harás cuatro anillos de metal á sus cuatro esquinas.
27:4 And you shall make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shall you make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.
27:5 Y lo has de poner dentro del cerco del altar abajo; y llegará el enrejado hasta el medio del altar.
27:5 And you shall put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.
27:6 Harás también varas para el altar, varas de madera de Sittim, las cuales cubrirás de metal.
27:6 And you shall make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with brass.
27:7 Y sus varas se meterán por los anillos: y estarán aquellas varas á ambos lados del altar, cuando hubiere de ser llevado.
27:7 And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.
27:8 De tablas lo harás, hueco: de la manera que te fue mostrado en el monte, así lo harás.
27:8 Hollow with boards shall you make it: as it was showed you in the mount, so shall they make it.
27:9 Asimismo harás el atrio del tabernáculo: al lado del mediodía, al austro, tendrá el atrio cortinas de lino torcido, de cien codos de longitud cada un lado;
27:9 And you shall make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:
27:10 Sus veinte columnas, y sus veinte basas serán de metal; los capiteles de las columnas y sus molduras, de plata.
27:10 And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets shall be of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.
27:11 Y de la misma manera al lado del aquilón habrá á lo largo cortinas de cien codos de longitud, y sus veinte columnas, con sus veinte basas de metal; los capiteles de sus columnas y sus molduras, de plata.
27:11 And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
27:12 Y el ancho del atrio del lado occidental tendrá cortinas de cincuenta codos; sus columnas diez, con sus diez basas.
27:12 And for the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.
27:13 Y en el ancho del atrio por la parte de levante, al oriente, habrá cincuenta codos.
27:13 And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.
27:14 Y las cortinas del un lado serán de quince codos; sus columnas tres, con sus tres basas.
27:14 The hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three.
27:15 Al otro lado quince codos de cortinas; sus columnas tres, con sus tres basas.
27:15 And on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three.
27:16 Y á la puerta del atrio habrá un pabellón de veinte codos, de cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido, de obra de bordador: sus columnas cuatro, con sus cuatro basas.
27:16 And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.
27:17 Todas las columnas del atrio en derredor serán ceñidas de plata; sus capiteles de plata, y sus basas de metal.
27:17 All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their sockets of brass.
27:18 La longitud del atrio será de cien codos, y la anchura cincuenta por un lado y cincuenta por el otro, y la altura de cinco codos: sus cortinas de lino torcido, y sus basas de metal.
27:18 The length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits of fine twined linen, and their sockets of brass.
27:19 Todos los vasos del tabernáculo en todo su servicio, y todos sus clavos, y todos los clavos del atrio, serán de metal.
27:19 All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.
27:20 Y tú mandarás á los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas, molido, para la luminaria, para hacer arder continuamente las lámparas.
27:20 And you shall command the children of Israel, that they bring you pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
27:21 En el tabernáculo del testimonio, afuera del velo que está delante del testimonio, las pondrá en orden Aarón y sus hijos, delante de Jehová desde la tarde hasta la mañana, como estatuto perpetuo de los hijos de Israel por sus generaciones.
27:21 In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

28:1 Y TU allega á ti á Aarón tu hermano, y á sus hijos consigo, de entre los hijos de Israel, para que sean mis sacerdotes; á Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar é Ithamar, hijos de Aarón.
28:1 And take you unto you Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
28:2 Y harás vestidos sagrados á Aarón tu hermano, para honra y hermosura.
28:2 And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother for glory and for beauty.
28:3 Y tú hablarás á todos los sabios de corazón, á quienes yo he henchido de espíritu de sabiduría; á fin que hagan los vestidos de Aarón, para consagrarle á que me sirva de sacerdote.
28:3 And you shall speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
28:4 Los vestidos que harán son estos: el racional, y el ephod, y el manto, y la túnica labrada, la mitra, y el cinturón. Hagan, pues, los sagrados vestidos á Aarón tu hermano, y á sus hijos, para que sean mis sacerdotes.
28:4 And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a turban, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
28:5 Tomarán oro, y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
28:5 And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
28:6 Y harán el ephod de oro y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido de obra de bordador.
28:6 And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.
28:7 Tendrá dos hombreras que se junten á sus dos lados, y se juntará.
28:7 It shall have the two shoulder pieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
28:8 Y el artificio de su cinto que está sobre él, será de su misma obra, de lo mismo; de oro, cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
28:8 And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
28:9 Y tomarás dos piedras oniquinas, y grabarás en ellas los nombres de los hijos de Israel:
28:9 And you shall take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
28:10 Los seis de sus nombres en la una piedra, y los otros seis nombres en la otra piedra, conforme al nacimiento de ellos.
28:10 Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.
28:11 De obra de escultor en piedra á modo de grabaduras de sello, harás grabar aquellas dos piedras con los nombres de los hijos de Israel; harásles alrededor engastes de oro.
28:11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shall you engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: you shall make them to be set in casings of gold.
28:12 Y pondrás aquellas dos piedras sobre los hombros del ephod, para piedras de memoria á los hijos de Israel; y Aarón llevará los nombres de ellos delante de Jehová en sus dos hombros por memoria.
28:12 And you shall put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.
28:13 Harás pues, engastes de oro,
28:13 And you shall make casings of gold;
28:14 Y dos cadenillas de oro fino; las cuales harás de hechura de trenza; y fijarás las cadenas de hechura de trenza en los engastes.
28:14 And two chains of pure gold at the ends; of interwoven work shall you make them, and fasten the interwoven chains to the casings.
28:15 Harás asimismo el racional del juicio de primorosa obra, le has de hacer conforme á la obra del ephod, de oro, y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
28:15 And you shall make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shall you make it.
28:16 Será cuadrado y doble, de un palmo de largo y un palmo de ancho:
28:16 Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
28:17 Y lo llenarás de pedrería con cuatro órdenes de piedras: un orden de una piedra sárdica, un topacio, y un carbunclo; será el primer orden;
28:17 And you shall set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a ruby, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.
28:18 El segundo orden, una esmeralda, un zafiro, y un diamante;
28:18 And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
28:19 El tercer orden, un rubí, un ágata, y una amatista;
28:19 And the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst.
28:20 Y el cuarto orden, un berilo, un onix, y un jaspe: estarán engastadas en oro en sus encajes.
28:20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their settings.
28:21 Y serán aquellas piedra según los nombres de los hijos de Israel, doce según sus nombres; como grabaduras de sello cada una con su nombre, vendrán á ser según las doce tribus.
28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
28:22 Harás también en el racional cadenetas de hechura de trenzas de oro fino.
28:22 And you shall make upon the breastplate chains at the ends of interwoven work of pure gold.
28:23 Y harás en el racional dos anillos de oro, los cuales dos anillos pondrás á las dos puntas del racional.
28:23 And you shall make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
28:24 Y pondrás las dos trenzas de oro en los dos anillos á las dos puntas del racional:
28:24 And you shall put the two interwoven chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.
28:25 Y los dos cabos de las dos trenzas sobre los dos engastes, y las pondrás á los lados del ephod en la parte delantera.
28:25 And the other two ends of the two interwoven chains you shall fasten in the two casings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod before it.
28:26 Harás también dos anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás á las dos puntas del racional, en su orilla que está al lado del ephod de la parte de dentro.
28:26 And you shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
28:27 Harás asimismo dos anillos de oro, los cuales pondrás á los dos lados del ephod abajo en la parte delantera, delante de su juntura sobre el cinto del ephod.
28:27 And two other rings of gold you shall make, and shall put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the front part thereof, opposite to the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
28:28 Y juntarán el racional con sus anillos á los anillos del ephod con un cordón de jacinto, para que esté sobre el cinto del ephod, y no se aparte el racional del ephod.
28:28 And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
28:29 Y llevará Aarón los nombres de los hijos de Israel en el racional del juicio sobre su corazón, cuando entrare en el santuario, para memoria delante de Jehová continuamente.
28:29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goes in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
28:30 Y pondrás en el racional del juicio Urim y Thummim, para que estén sobre el corazón de Aarón cuando entrare delante de Jehová: y llevará siempre Aarón el juicio de los hijos de Israel sobre su corazón delante de Jehová.
28:30 And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goes in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
28:31 Harás el manto del ephod todo de jacinto:
28:31 And you shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
28:32 Y en medio de él por arriba habrá una abertura, la cual tendrá un borde alrededor de obra de tejedor, como el cuello de un coselete, para que no se rompa.
28:32 And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an armour of jacket, that it be not rent.
28:33 Y abajo en sus orillas harás granadas de jacinto, y púrpura, y carmesí, por sus bordes alrededor; y entre ellas campanillas de oro alrededor.
28:33 And beneath upon the hem of it you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
28:34 Una campanilla de oro y una granada, campanilla de oro y granada, por las orillas del manto alrededor.
28:34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.
28:35 Y estará sobre Aarón cuando ministrare; y oiráse su sonido cuando él entrare en el santuario delante de Jehová y cuando saliere, porque no muera.
28:35 And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goes in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he comes out, that he die not.
28:36 Harás además una plancha de oro fino, y grabarás en ella grabadura de sello, SANTIDAD A JEHOVA.
28:36 And you shall make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
28:37 Y la pondrás con un cordón de jacinto, y estará sobre la mitra; por el frente anterior de la mitra estará.
28:37 And you shall put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the turban; upon the forefront of the turban it shall be.
28:38 Y estará sobre la frente de Aarón: y llevará Aarón el pecado de las cosas santas, que los hijos de Israel hubieren consagrado en todas sus santas ofrendas; y sobre su frente estará continuamente para que hayan gracia delante de Jehová.
28:38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.
28:39 Y bordarás una túnica de lino, y harás una mitra de lino; harás también un cinto de obra de recamador.
28:39 And you shall embroider the coat of fine linen, and you shall make the turban of fine linen, and you shall make the girdle of needlework.
28:40 Y para los hijos de Aarón harás túnicas; también les harás cintos, y les formarás chapeos (tiaras) para honra y hermosura.
28:40 And for Aaron's sons you shall make coats, and you shall make for them girdles, and bonnets shall you make for them, for glory and for beauty.
28:41 Y con ellos vestirás á Aarón tu hermano, y á sus hijos con él: y los ungirás, y los consagrarás, y santificarás, para que sean mis sacerdotes.
28:41 And you shall put them upon Aaron your brother, and his sons with him; and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.
28:42 Y les harás pañetes de lino para cubrir la carne vergonzosa; serán desde los lomos hasta los muslos:
28:42 And you shall make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
28:43 Y estarán sobre Aarón y sobre sus hijos cuando entraren en el tabernáculo de testimonio, ó cuando se llegaren al altar para servir en el santuario, porque no lleven pecado, y mueran. Estatuto perpetuo para él, y para su simiente después de él.
28:43 And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
