1:1 Петр, Апостол Иисуса Христа, пришельцам, рассеянным в Понте, Галатии,Каппадокии, Асии и Вифинии, избранным,
1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
1:2 по предведению Бога Отца, при освящении от Духа, к послушанию и окроплению Кровию Иисуса Христа: благодать вам и мир да умножится.
1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
1:3 Благословен Бог и Отец Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, по великой Своей милости возродивший нас воскресением Иисуса Христа из мертвых к упованию живому,
1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1:4 к наследству нетленному, чистому, неувядаемому, хранящемуся на небесах для вас,
1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1:5 силою Божиею через веру соблюдаемых ко спасению, готовому открыться в последнее время.
1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1:6 О сем радуйтесь, поскорбев теперь немного, если нужно, от различных искушений,
1:6 Wherein all of you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, all of you are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
1:7 дабы испытанная вера ваша оказалась драгоценнее гибнущего, хотя и огнем испытываемого золота, к похвале и чести и славе в явление Иисуса Христа,
1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1:8 Которого, не видев, любите, и Которого доселе не видя, но веруя в Него, радуетесь радостью неизреченною и преславною,
1:8 Whom having not seen, all of you love; in whom, though now all of you see him not, yet believing, all of you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1:9 достигая наконец верою вашею спасения душ.
1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1:10 К сему-то спасению относились изыскания и исследования пророков, которые предсказывали о назначенной вам благодати,
1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1:11 исследывая, на которое и на какое время указывалсущий в них Дух Христов, когда Он предвозвещал Христовы страдания и последующую за ними славу.
1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit (o. pneuma) of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1:12 Им открыто было, что не им самим, а нам служило то, что ныне проповедано вам благовествовавшими Духом Святым, посланным с небес, во что желают проникнуть Ангелы.
1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
1:13 Посему,(возлюбленные), препоясав чресла ума вашего, бодрствуя, совершенно уповайте на подаваемую вам благодать в явлении Иисуса Христа.
1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
1:14 Как послушные дети, не сообразуйтесь с прежними похотями, бывшими в неведении вашем,
1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
1:15 но, по примеру призвавшего вас Святаго, и сами будьте святы во всех поступках.
1:15 But as he which has called you is holy, so be all of you holy in all manner of conversation;
1:16 Ибо написано: будьте святы, потому что Я свят.
1:16 Because it is written, Be all of you holy; for I am holy.
1:17 И если вы называете Отцем Того, Который нелицеприятносудит каждого по делам, то со страхом проводите время странствования вашего,
1:17 And if all of you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
1:18 зная, что не тленным серебром или золотом искуплены вы от суетной жизни, преданной вам от отцов,
1:18 Forasmuch as all of you know that all of you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1:19 но драгоценною Кровию Христа, как непорочного и чистого Агнца,
1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1:20 предназначенного еще прежде создания мира, но явившегося в последние времена для вас,
1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
1:21 уверовавших чрез Него в Бога, Который воскресил Его из мертвых и дал Ему славу, чтобы вы имели веру и упование на Бога.
1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
1:22 Послушанием истине чрез Духа, очистив души ваши к нелицемерному братолюбию, постоянно любите друг друга от чистого сердца,
1:22 Seeing all of you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit (o. pneuma) unto sincere love of the brethren, see that all of you love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1:23 как возрожденные не от тленного семени, но от нетленного, от слова Божия, живаго и пребывающего вовек.
1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word (o. logos) of God, which lives and abides for ever.
1:24 Ибо всякая плоть – как трава, и всякая слава человеческая – как цвет на траве: засохла трава, и цвет ее опал;
1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away:
1:25 но слово Господне пребывает вовек; а это есть то слово, которое вам проповедано.
1:25 But the word (o. rhema) of the Lord endures for ever. And this is the word (o. rhema) which by the gospel is preached unto you.
2:1 Итак, отложив всякую злобу и всякое коварство, илицемерие, и зависть, и всякое злословие,
2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, all evil speaking,
2:2 как новорожденные младенцы, возлюбите чистое словесное молоко, дабы от него возрасти вам во спасение;
2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that all of you may grow thereby:
2:3 ибо вы вкусили, что благ Господь.
2:3 If so be all of you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
2:4 Приступая к Нему, камню живому, человеками отверженному, но Богом избранному, драгоценному,
2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
2:5 и сами, как живые камни, устрояйте из себя дом духовный, священство святое, чтобы приносить духовные жертвы, благоприятные Богу Иисусом Христом.
2:5 All of you also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
2:6 Ибо сказано в Писании: вот, Я полагаю в Сионе камень краеугольный, избранный, драгоценный; и верующий в Него не постыдится.
2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.
2:7 Итак Он для вас, верующих, драгоценность, а для неверующих камень, который отвергли строители, но который сделался главою угла, камень претыкания и камень соблазна,
2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
2:8 о который они претыкаются, не покоряясь слову, на что они и оставлены.
2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, (o. logos) being disobedient: unto which also they were appointed.
2:9 Но вы – род избранный, царственное священство, народ святой, люди, взятые в удел, дабы возвещать совершенства Призвавшего вас из тьмы в чудный Свой свет;
2:9 But all of you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, an exclusive people; that all of you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
2:10 некогда не народ, а ныне народ Божий; некогда непомилованные, а ныне помилованы.
2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
2:11 Возлюбленные! прошу вас, как пришельцев и странников, удаляться от плотских похотей, восстающих на душу,
2:11 Dearly beloved, I plead to you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
2:12 и провождать добродетельную жизнь между язычниками, дабы они за то, зачто злословят вас, как злодеев, увидя добрые дела ваши,прославили Бога в день посещения.
2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
2:13 Итак будьте покорны всякому человеческому начальству, для Господа: царю ли, как верховной власти,
2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
2:14 правителям ли, как от него посылаемым для наказанияпреступников и для поощрения делающих добро, –
2:14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
2:15 ибо такова есть воля Божия, чтобы мы, делая добро, заграждали уста невежеству безумных людей, –
2:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing all of you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
2:16 как свободные, не как употребляющие свободу для прикрытия зла, но как рабы Божии.
2:16 As free, and not using your liberty for a coat of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
2:17 Всех почитайте, братство любите, Бога бойтесь, царя чтите.
2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
2:18 Слуги, со всяким страхом повинуйтесь господам, не только добрым и кротким, но и суровым.
2:18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the perverse.
2:19 Ибо то угодно Богу, если кто, помышляя о Боге, переносит скорби, страдая несправедливо.
2:19 For this deserves giving of thanks, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
2:20 Ибо что за похвала, если вы терпите, когда вас бьют за проступки? Но если, делая добро и страдая, терпите, это угодно Богу.
2:20 For what glory is it, if, when all of you be buffeted for your faults, all of you shall take it patiently? but if, when all of you do well, and suffer for it, all of you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
2:21 Ибо вы к тому призваны, потому что и Христос пострадал за нас, оставив нам пример, дабы мы шли по следам Его.
2:21 For even hereunto were all of you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that all of you should follow his steps:
2:22 Он не сделал никакого греха, и не было лести в устах Его.
2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
2:23 Будучи злословим, Он не злословил взаимно; страдая, не угрожал, но предавал то Судии Праведному.
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously:
2:24 Он грехи наши Сам вознес телом Своим на древо, дабы мы, избавившись от грехов, жили для правды: ранами Его вы исцелились.
2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes all of you were healed.
2:25 Ибо вы были, как овцы блуждающие(не имея пастыря), но возвратились ныне к Пастырю и Блюстителю душ ваших.
2:25 For all of you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
3:1 Также и вы, жены, повинуйтесь своим мужьям, чтобы теиз них, которые не покоряются слову, житием жен своих без слова приобретаемы были,
3:1 Likewise, all of you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, (o. logos) they also may without the word (o. logos) be won by the conversation of the wives;
3:2 когда увидят ваше чистое, богобоязненное житие.
3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with (o. rhema) fear.
3:3 Да будет украшением вашим не внешнее плетение волос, не золотые уборы или нарядность в одежде,
3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
3:4 но сокровенный сердца человек в нетленной красоте кроткого имолчаливого духа, что драгоценно пред Богом.
3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, (o. pneuma) which is in the sight of God of great price.
3:5 Так некогда и святые жены, уповавшие на Бога, украшали себя, повинуясь своим мужьям.
3:5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
3:6 Так Сарра повиновалась Аврааму, называя его господином.Вы – дети ее, если делаете добро и не смущаетесь ни от какого страха.
3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters all of you are, as long as all of you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
3:7 Также и вы, мужья, обращайтесь благоразумно с женами, как с немощнейшим сосудом, оказывая им честь, как сонаследницам благодатной жизни, дабы не было вам препятствия в молитвах.
3:7 Likewise, all of you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
3:8 Наконец будьте все единомысленны, сострадательны, братолюбивы, милосерды, дружелюбны, смиренномудры;
3:8 Finally, be all of you all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
3:9 не воздавайте злом за зло или ругательством за ругательство; напротив, благословляйте, зная, что вы к тому призваны,чтобы наследовать благословение.
3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that all of you are thereunto called, that all of you should inherit a blessing.
3:10 Ибо, кто любит жизнь и хочет видеть добрые дни, тот удерживай язык свой от зла и уста своиот лукавых речей;
3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
3:11 уклоняйся от зла и делай добро; ищимира и стремись к нему,
3:11 Let him shun evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it.
3:12 потому что очи Господа обращены к праведным и уши Его к молитве их, но лице Господне против делающих зло,(чтобы истребитьих с земли).
3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
3:13 И кто сделает вам зло, если вы будете ревнителями доброго?
3:13 And who is he that will harm you, if all of you be followers of that which is good?
3:14 Но если и страдаете за правду, то вы блаженны; а страха их не бойтесь и не смущайтесь.
3:14 But and if all of you suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are all of you: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
3:15 Господа Бога святите в сердцах ваших; будьте всегда готовы всякому, требующему у вас отчета в вашем уповании, дать ответ с кротостью и благоговением.
3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason (o. logos) of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
3:16 Имейте добрую совесть, дабы тем, за что злословят вас, как злодеев, были постыжены порицающие ваше доброе житие во Христе.
3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
3:17 Ибо, если угодно воле Божией, лучше пострадать задобрые дела, нежели за злые;
3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that all of you suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
3:18 потому что и Христос, чтобы привести нас к Богу, однажды пострадал за грехи наши, праведник за неправедных, быв умерщвлен по плоти, но ожив духом,
3:18 For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: (o. pneuma)
3:19 которым Он и находящимся в темнице духам, сойдя, проповедал,
3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits (o. pneuma) in prison;
3:20 некогда непокорным ожидавшему их Божию долготерпению, во дни Ноя, во время строения ковчега, в котором немногие, то есть восемь душ, спаслись от воды.
3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
3:21 Так и нас ныне подобное сему образу крещение, не плотской нечистоты омытие, но обещание Богу доброй совести, спасает воскресением Иисуса Христа,
3:21 The like figure unto which even baptism does also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
3:22 Который, восшед на небо, пребывает одесную Бога и Которому покорились Ангелы и Власти и Силы.
3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
4:1 Итак, как Христос пострадал за нас плотию, то и вывооружитесь тою же мыслью; ибо страдающий плотию перестает грешить,
4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;
4:2 чтобы остальное во плоти время жить уже не по человеческим похотям, но по воле Божией.
4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
4:3 Ибо довольно, что вы в прошедшее время жизни поступали по воле языческой, предаваясь нечистотам, похотям(мужеложству, скотоложству, помыслам), пьянству, излишеству в пище и питии и нелепому идолослужению;
4:3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4:4 почему они и дивятся, что вы не участвуете с ними втом же распутстве, и злословят вас.
4:4 Wherein they think it strange that all of you run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
4:5 Они дадут ответ Имеющему вскоре судить живых и мертвых.
4:5 Who shall give account (o. logos) to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
4:6 Ибо для того и мертвым было благовествуемо, чтобы они, подвергшись суду по человеку плотию, жили по Богу духом.
4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (o. pneuma)
4:7 Впрочем близок всему конец. Итак будьте благоразумны и бодрствуйте в молитвах.
4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be all of you therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
4:8 Более же всего имейте усердную любовь друг ко другу, потому что любовь покрывает множество грехов.
4:8 And above all things have fervent love (o. agape) among yourselves: for love (o. agape) shall cover the multitude of sins.
4:9 Будьте страннолюбивы друг ко другу без ропота.
4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
4:10 Служите друг другу, каждый тем даром, какой получил, как добрые домостроители многоразличной благодати Божией.
4:10 As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
4:11 Говорит ли кто, говори как слова Божии; служит ли кто, служи по силе, какую дает Бог, дабы вовсем прославлялся Бог через Иисуса Христа, Которому слава и держава во веки веков. Аминь.
4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
4:12 Возлюбленные! огненного искушения, для испытания вам посылаемого, не чуждайтесь, как приключения для вас странного,
4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
4:13 но как вы участвуете в Христовых страданиях, радуйтесь, да и в явление славы Его возрадуетесь и восторжествуете.
4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as all of you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, all of you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
4:14 Если злословят вас за имя Христово, то вы блаженны, ибо Дух Славы, Дух Божий почивает на вас. Теми Он хулится, а вами прославляется.
4:14 If all of you be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are all of you; for the spirit (o. pneuma) of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
4:15 Только бы не пострадал кто из вас, как убийца, иливор, или злодей, или как посягающий на чужое;
4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
4:16 а если как Христианин, то не стыдись, но прославляй Бога за такую участь.
4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
4:17 Ибо время начаться суду с дома Божия; если же прежде с нас начнется , то какой конец непокоряющимся Евангелию Божию?
4:17 For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
4:18 И если праведник едва спасается, то нечестивый и грешный где явится?
4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
4:19 Итак страждущие по воле Божией да предадут Ему, как верному Создателю, души свои, делая добро.
4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
5:1 Пастырей ваших умоляю я, сопастырь и свидетель страданий Христовых и соучастник в славе, которая должна открыться:
5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
5:2 пасите Божие стадо, какое у вас, надзирая за ним непринужденно, но охотно и богоугодно, не для гнусной корысти, но из усердия,
5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy illegal gain, but of a ready mind;
5:3 и не господствуя над наследием Божиим , но подавая пример стаду;
5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
5:4 и когда явится Пастыреначальник, вы получите неувядающий венец славы.
5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, all of you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.
5:5 Также и младшие, повинуйтесь пастырям; все же, подчиняясь друг другу, облекитесь смиренномудрием, потому что Бог гордымпротивится, а смиренным дает благодать.
5:5 Likewise, all of you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
5:6 Итак смиритесь под крепкую руку Божию, да вознесет вас в свое время.
5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
5:7 Все заботы ваши возложите на Него, ибо Он печется о вас.
5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
5:8 Трезвитесь, бодрствуйте, потому что противник ваш диавол ходит, как рыкающий лев, ища, кого поглотить.
5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
5:9 Противостойте ему твердою верою, зная, что такие же страдания случаются и с братьями вашими в мире.
5:9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
5:10 Бог же всякой благодати, призвавший нас в вечнуюславу Свою во Христе Иисусе, Сам, по кратковременном страдании вашем, да совершит вас, да утвердит, да укрепит, да соделает непоколебимыми.
5:10 But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that all of you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
5:11 Ему слава и держава во веки веков. Аминь.
5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
5:12 Сие кратко написал я вам чрез Силуана, верного, как думаю, вашего брата, чтобы уверить вас, утешая и свидетельствуя, что это истинная благодать Божия, в которой вы стоите.
5:12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein all of you stand.
5:13 Приветствует вас избранная, подобно вам, церковь в Вавилоне и Марк, сын мой.

1:1 Симон Петр, раб и Апостол Иисуса Христа, принявшим снами равно драгоценную веру по правде Бога нашего и Спасителя Иисуса Христа:
1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
1:2 благодать и мир вам да умножится в познании Бога и Христа Иисуса, Господа нашего.
1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
1:3 Как от Божественной силы Его даровано нам все потребное для жизни и благочестия, через познание Призвавшего нас славою и благостию,
1:3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue:
1:4 которыми дарованы нам великие и драгоценные обетования, дабы вы через них соделались причастниками Божеского естества, удалившись от господствующего в мире растления похотью:
1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these all of you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1:5 то вы, прилагая к сему все старание, покажите в вере вашей добродетель, в добродетели рассудительность,
1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
1:6 в рассудительности воздержание, в воздержании терпение, в терпенииблагочестие,
1:6 And to knowledge wilful restrain; and to wilful restrain patience; and to patience godliness;
1:7 в благочестии братолюбие, в братолюбии любовь.
1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. (o. agape)
1:8 Если это в вас есть и умножается, то вы не останетесь без успеха и плода в познании Господа нашегоИисуса Христа.
1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that all of you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:9 А в ком нет сего, тот слеп, закрыл глаза, забыл об очищении прежних грехов своих.
1:9 But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see far off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
1:10 Посему, братия, более и более старайтесьделать твердым ваше звание и избрание; так поступая, никогда не преткнетесь,
1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if all of you do these things, all of you shall never fall:
1:11 ибо так откроется вам свободный вход в вечное Царство Господа нашего и Спасителя Иисуса Христа.
1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
1:12 Для того я никогда не перестану напоминать вам о сем, хотя вы то и знаете, и утверждены в настоящей истине.
1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though all of you know them, and be established in the present truth.
1:13 Справедливым же почитаю, доколе нахожусь в этой телесной храмине, возбуждать вас напоминанием,
1:13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
1:14 зная, что скоро должен оставить храмину мою, как и Господь наш Иисус Христос открыл мне.
1:14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ has showed me.
1:15 Буду же стараться, чтобы вы и после моего отшествия всегда приводили это на память.
1:15 Moreover I will endeavour that all of you may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
1:16 Ибо мы возвестили вам силу и пришествие Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, не хитросплетенным басням последуя, но быв очевидцами Его величия.
1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
1:17 Ибо Он принял от Бога Отца честь и славу, когда от велелепной славы принесся к Нему такой глас: Сей есть Сын Мой возлюбленный, в Котором Мое благоволение.
1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
1:18 И этот глас, принесшийся с небес, мы слышали, будучи с Ним на святой горе.
1:18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
1:19 И притом мы имеем вернейшее пророческое слово; и вы хорошо делаете, что обращаетесь к нему, как к светильнику, сияющему в темномместе, доколе не начнет рассветать день и не взойдет утренняя звезда в сердцах ваших,
1:19 We have also a more sure word (o. logos) of prophecy; unto which all of you do well that all of you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
1:20 зная прежде всего то, что никакого пророчества в Писании нельзя разрешить самому собою.
1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
1:21 Ибо никогда пророчество не было произносимо по воле человеческой, но изрекали его святые Божии человеки, будучи движимы Духом Святым.
1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
2:1 Были и лжепророки в народе, как и у вас будут лжеучители, которые введут пагубные ереси и, отвергаясь искупившего их Господа, навлекут сами на себя скорую погибель.
2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2:2 И многие последуют их разврату, и через них путь истины будет в поношении.
2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2:3 И из любостяжания будут уловлять васльстивыми словами; суд им давно готов, и погибель их не дремлет.
2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words (o. logos) make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
2:4 Ибо, если Бог ангелов согрешивших не пощадил, но, связав узами адского мрака, предал блюсти на суд для наказания;
2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
2:5 и если не пощадил первого мира, но в восьми душах сохранил семейство Ноя, проповедника правды, когда навел потоп на мир нечестивых;
2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2:6 и если города Содомские и Гоморрские, осудив на истребление, превратил в пепел, показав примербудущим нечестивцам,
2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;
2:7 а праведного Лота, утомленного обращением между людьми неистово развратными, избавил
2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2:8 (ибо сей праведник, живя между ними, ежедневно мучился в праведной душе, видя и слыша дела беззаконные) –
2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
2:9 то, конечно, знает Господь, как избавлять благочестивых от искушения, а беззаконников соблюдать ко дню суда, для наказания,
2:9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
2:10 а наипаче тех, которые идут вслед скверных похотей плоти, презирают начальства, дерзки, своевольны и не страшатся злословить высших,
2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Arrogant are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
2:11 тогда как и Ангелы, превосходя их крепостью и силою, не произносят на них пред Господом укоризненного суда.
2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
2:12 Они, как бессловесные животные, водимые природою, рожденные на уловление и истребление, злословя то, чего не понимают, в растлении своем истребятся.
2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
2:13 Они получат возмездие за беззаконие, ибо они полагают удовольствие вовседневной роскоши; срамники и осквернители, они наслаждаются обманами своими, пиршествуя с вами.
2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceits while they feast with you;
2:14 Глаза у них исполнены любострастия и непрестанного греха; они прельщаютнеутвержденные души; сердце их приучено к любостяжанию: это сыны проклятия.
2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
2:15 Оставив прямой путь, они заблудились, идя по следам Валаама, сына Восорова, который возлюбил мзду неправедную,
2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
2:16 но был обличен в своем беззаконии: бессловесная ослица, проговорив человеческим голосом, остановила безумие пророка.
2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
2:17 Это безводные источники, облака и мглы, гонимые бурею: им приготовленмрак вечной тьмы.
2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
2:18 Ибо, произнося надутое пустословие, они уловляют в плотские похоти и разврат тех, которые едва отстали от находящихся в заблуждении.
2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
2:19 Обещают им свободу, будучи сами рабы тления; ибо, кто кем побежден, тот тому и раб.
2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
2:20 Ибо если, избегнув скверн мира чрез познание Господаи Спасителя нашего Иисуса Христа, опять запутываются в них и побеждаются ими, то последнее бывает для таковых хуже первого.
2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2:21 Лучше бы им не познать пути правды, нежели, познав, возвратиться назад от преданной им святой заповеди.
2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2:22 Но с ними случается по верной пословице: пес возвращается на свою блевотину, и: вымытая свинья идет валяться в грязи.
2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
3:1 Это уже второе послание пишу к вам, возлюбленные; вних напоминанием возбуждаю ваш чистый смысл,
3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
3:2 чтобы вы помнили слова, прежде реченные святыми пророками, и заповедь Господа и Спасителя, преданную Апостолами вашими.
3:2 That all of you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3:3 Прежде всего знайте, что в последние дни явятся наглые ругатели, поступающие по собственным своим похотям
3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
3:4 и говорящие: где обетование пришествия Его? Ибо с тех пор, как стали умирать отцы, от начала творения, все остается так же.
3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
3:5 Думающие так не знают,что вначале словом Божиим небеса и земля составлены изводы и водою:
3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word (o. logos) of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
3:6 потому тогдашний мир погиб, быв потоплен водою.
3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
3:7 А нынешние небеса и земля, содержимые тем же Словом, сберегаются огню на день суда и погибели нечестивых человеков.
3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word (o. logos) are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
3:8 Одно то не должно быть сокрыто от вас,возлюбленные, что у Господа один день, как тысяча лет, итысяча лет, как один день.
3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
3:9 Не медлит Господь исполнением обетования, как некоторые почитают то медлением; но долготерпит нас, не желая, чтобы ктопогиб, но чтобы все пришли к покаянию.
3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
3:10 Придет же день Господень, как тать ночью, и тогда небеса с шумом прейдут, стихии же, разгоревшись, разрушатся, земля и все дела на ней сгорят.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
3:11 Если так все это разрушится, то какими должно быть в святой жизни и благочестии вам,
3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought all of you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
3:12 ожидающим и желающим пришествия дня Божия, в который воспламененные небеса разрушатся и разгоревшиеся стихиирастают?
3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
3:13 Впрочем мы, по обетованию Его, ожидаем нового неба иновой земли, на которых обитает правда.
3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
3:14 Итак, возлюбленные, ожидая сего, потщитесь явиться предНим неоскверненными и непорочными в мире;
3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that all of you look for such things, be diligent that all of you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
3:15 и долготерпение Господа нашего почитайте спасением, как и возлюбленный брат наш Павел, по данной ему премудрости, написал вам,
3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you;
3:16 как он говорит об этом и во всех посланиях, в которых есть нечто неудобовразумительное, что невежды и неутвержденные, к собственной своей погибели, превращают, как и прочие Писания.
3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable shift, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
3:17 Итак вы, возлюбленные, будучи предварены о сем, берегитесь, чтобы вам не увлечься заблуждением беззаконников и не отпасть от своего утверждения,
3:17 All of you therefore, beloved, seeing all of you know these things before, beware lest all of you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
3:18 но возрастайте в благодати и познании Господа нашегои Спасителя Иисуса Христа. Ему слава и ныне и в день вечный. Аминь.
3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
