109:1 わたしのほめたたえる神よ、もださないでください。
109:1 Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;
109:2 彼らは悪しき口と欺きの口をあけて、わたしにむかい、偽りの舌をもってわたしに語り、
109:2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
109:3 恨みの言葉をもってわたしを囲み、ゆえなくわたしを攻めるのです。
109:3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
109:4 彼らはわが愛にむくいて、わたしを非難します。しかしわたしは彼らのために祈ります。
109:4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
109:5 彼らは悪をもってわが善に報い、恨みをもってわが愛に報いるのです。
109:5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
109:6 彼の上に悪しき人を立て、訴える者に彼を訴えさせてください。
109:6 Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
109:7 彼がさばかれるとき、彼を罪ある者とし、その祈を罪に変えてください。
109:7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
109:8 その日を少なくし、その財産をほかの人にとらせ、
109:8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
109:9 その子らをみなしごにし、その妻をやもめにしてください。
109:9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
109:10 その子らを放浪者として施しをこわせ、その荒れたすまいから追い出させてください。
109:10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
109:11 彼が持っているすべての物を債主に奪わせ、その勤労の実をほかの人にかすめさせてください。
109:11 Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
109:12 彼にいつくしみを施す者はひとりもなく、またそのみなしごをあわれむ者もなく、
109:12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
109:13 その子孫を絶えさせ、その名を次の代に消し去ってください。
109:13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
109:14 その父たちの不義は主のみ前に覚えられ、その母の罪を消し去らないでください。
109:14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
109:15 それらを常に主のみ前に置き、彼の記憶を地から断ってください。
109:15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
109:16 これは彼がいつくしみを施すことを思わず、かえって貧しい者、乏しい者を責め、心の痛める者を殺そうとしたからです。
109:16 Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
109:17 彼はのろうことを好んだ。のろいを彼に臨ませてください。彼は恵むことを喜ばなかった。恵みを彼から遠ざけてください。
109:17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
109:18 彼はのろいを衣のように着た。のろいを水のようにその身にしみこませ、油のようにその骨にしみこませてください。
109:18 As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
109:19 またそれを自分の着る着物のようにならせ、常に締める帯のようにならせてください。
109:19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
109:20 これがわたしを非難する者と、わたしに逆らって悪いことを言う者の／主からうける報いとしてください。
109:20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
109:21 しかし、わが主なる神よ、あなたはみ名のために、わたしを顧みてください。あなたのいつくしみの深きにより、わたしをお助けください。
109:21 But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.
109:22 わたしは貧しく、かつ乏しいのです。わたしの心はわがうちに傷ついています。
109:22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
109:23 わたしは夕日の影のように去りゆき、いなごのように追い払われます。
109:23 I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
109:24 わたしのひざは断食によってよろめき、わたしの肉はやせ衰え、
109:24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness.
109:25 わたしは彼らにそしられる者となりました。彼らはわたしを見ると、頭を振ります。
109:25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.
109:26 わが神、主よ、わたしをお助けください。あなたのいつくしみにしたがって、わたしをお救いください。
109:26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:
109:27 主よ、これがあなたのみ手のわざであること、あなたがそれをなされたことを、彼らに知らせてください。
109:27 That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
109:28 彼らはのろうけれども、あなたは祝福されます。わたしを攻める者をはずかしめ、あなたのしもべを喜ばせてください。
109:28 Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.
109:29 わたしを非難する者にはずかしめを着せ、おのが恥を上着のようにまとわせてください。
109:29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
109:30 わたしはわが口をもって大いに主に感謝し、多くの人のなかで主をほめたたえます。
109:30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
109:31 主は貧しい者の右に立って、死罪にさだめようとする者から／彼を救われるからです。
109:31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
109:1 主はわが主に言われる、「わたしがあなたのもろもろの敵を／あなたの足台とするまで、わたしの右に座せよ」と。
110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you at my right hand, until I make yours enemies your footstool.
109:2 主はあなたの力あるつえをシオンから出される。あなたはもろもろの敵のなかで治めよ。
110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: rule you in the midst of yours enemies.
109:3 あなたの民は、あなたがその軍勢を／聖なる山々に導く日に／心から喜んでおのれをささげるであろう。あなたの若者は朝の胎から出る露のように／あなたに来るであろう。
110:3 Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.
109:4 主は誓いを立てて、み心を変えられることはない、「あなたはメルキゼデクの位にしたがって／とこしえに祭司である」。
110:4 The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
109:5 主はあなたの右におられて、その怒りの日に王たちを打ち破られる。
110:5 The Lord at your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
109:6 主はもろもろの国のなかでさばきを行い、しかばねをもって満たし、広い地を治める首領たちを打ち破られる。
110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
109:7 彼は道のほとりの川からくんで飲み、それによって、そのこうべをあげるであろう。
110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
111:1 主をほめたたえよ。わたしは正しい者のつどい、および公会で、心をつくして主に感謝する。
111:1 Praise all of you the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
111:2 主のみわざは偉大である。すべてそのみわざを喜ぶ者によって尋ね窮められる。
111:2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
111:3 そのみわざは栄光と威厳とに満ち、その義はとこしえに、うせることがない。
111:3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endures for ever.
111:4 主はそのくすしきみわざを記念させられた。主は恵みふかく、あわれみに満ちていられる。
111:4 He has made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
111:5 主はおのれを恐れる者に食物を与え、その契約をとこしえに心にとめられる。
111:5 He has given food unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
111:6 主はもろもろの国民の所領をその民に与えて、みわざの力をこれにあらわされた。
111:6 He has showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
111:7 そのみ手のわざは真実かつ公正であり、すべてのさとしは確かである。
111:7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
111:8 これらは世々かぎりなく堅く立ち、真実と正直とをもってなされた。
111:8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
111:9 主はその民にあがないを施し、その契約をとこしえに立てられた。そのみ名は聖にして、おそれおおい。
111:9 He sent redemption unto his people: he has commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
111:10 主を恐れることは知恵のはじめである。これを行う者はみな良き悟りを得る。主の誉は、とこしえに、うせることはない。
111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.
112:1 主をほめたたえよ。主をおそれて、そのもろもろの戒めを／大いに喜ぶ人はさいわいである。
112:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Blessed is the man that fears the LORD, that delights greatly in his commandments.
112:2 その子孫は地において強くなり、正しい者のやからは祝福を得る。
112:2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
112:3 繁栄と富とはその家にあり、その義はとこしえに、うせることはない。
112:3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endures for ever.
112:4 光は正しい者のために暗黒の中にもあらわれる。主は恵み深く、あわれみに満ち、正しくいらせられる。
112:4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
112:5 恵みを施し、貸すことをなし、その事を正しく行う人はさいわいである。
112:5 A good man shows favour, and lends: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
112:6 正しい人は決して動かされることなく、とこしえに覚えられる。
112:6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
112:7 彼は悪いおとずれを恐れず、その心は主に信頼してゆるがない。
112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
112:8 その心は落ち着いて恐れることなく、ついにそのあだについての願いを見る。
112:8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
112:9 彼は惜しげなく施し、貧しい者に与えた。その義はとこしえに、うせることはない。その角は誉を得てあげられる。
112:9 He has dispersed, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
112:10 悪しき者はこれを見て怒り、歯をかみならして溶け去る。悪しき者の願いは滅びる。
112:10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
113:1 主をほめたたえよ。主のしもべたちよ、ほめたたえよ。主のみ名をほめたたえよ。
113:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Praise, O all of you servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
113:2 今より、とこしえに至るまで主のみ名はほむべきかな。
113:2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
113:3 日のいずるところから日の入るところまで、主のみ名はほめたたえられる。
113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
113:4 主はもろもろの国民の上に高くいらせられ、その栄光は天よりも高い。
113:4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
113:5 われらの神、主にくらぶべき者はだれか。主は高き所に座し、
113:5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwells on high,
113:6 遠く天と地とを見おろされる。
113:6 Who humbles himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
113:7 主は貧しい者をちりからあげ、乏しい者をあくたからあげて、
113:7 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the dunghill;
113:8 もろもろの君たちと共にすわらせ、その民の君たちと共にすわらせられる。
113:8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
113:9 また子を産まぬ女に家庭を与え、多くの子供たちの喜ばしい母とされる。主をほめたたえよ。
113:9 He makes the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise all of you the LORD.
114:1 イスラエルがエジプトをいで、ヤコブの家が異言の民を離れたとき、
114:1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
114:2 ユダは主の聖所となり、イスラエルは主の所領となった。
114:2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
114:3 海はこれを見て逃げ、ヨルダンはうしろに退き、
114:3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
114:4 山は雄羊のように踊り、小山は小羊のように踊った。
114:4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
114:5 海よ、おまえはどうして逃げるのか、ヨルダンよ、おまえはどうしてうしろに退くのか。
114:5 What ailed you, O you sea, that you fled? you Jordan, that you were driven back?
114:6 山よ、おまえたちはどうして雄羊のように踊るのか、小山よ、おまえたちはどうして小羊のように踊るのか。
114:6 All of you mountains, that all of you skipped like rams; and all of you little hills, like lambs?
114:7 地よ、主のみ前におののけ、ヤコブの神のみ前におののけ。
114:7 Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
114:8 主は岩を池に変らせ、石を泉に変らせられた。
114:8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
115:1 主よ、栄光を／われらにではなく、われらにではなく、あなたのいつくしみと、まこととのゆえに、ただ、み名にのみ帰してください。
115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto your name give glory, for your mercy, and for your truth's sake.
115:2 なにゆえ、もろもろの国民は言うのでしょう、「彼らの神はどこにいるのか」と。
115:2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
115:3 われらの神は天にいらせられる。神はみこころにかなうすべての事を行われる。
115:3 But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatsoever he has pleased.
115:4 彼らの偶像はしろがねと、こがねで、人の手のわざである。
115:4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
115:5 それは口があっても語ることができない。目があっても見ることができない。
115:5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
115:6 耳があっても聞くことができない。鼻があってもかぐことができない。
115:6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
115:7 手があっても取ることができない。足があっても歩くことができない。また、のどから声を出すこともできない。
115:7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
115:8 これを造る者と、これに信頼する者とはみな、これと等しい者になる。
115:8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusts in them.
115:9 イスラエルよ、主に信頼せよ。主は彼らの助け、また彼らの盾である。
115:9 O Israel, trust you in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
115:10 アロンの家よ、主に信頼せよ。主は彼らの助け、また彼らの盾である。
115:10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
115:11 主を恐れる者よ、主に信頼せよ。主は彼らの助け、また彼らの盾である。
115:11 All of you that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
115:12 主はわれらをみこころにとめられた。主はわれらを恵み、イスラエルの家を恵み、アロンの家を恵み、
115:12 The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
115:13 また、小さい者も、大いなる者も、主を恐れる者を恵まれる。
115:13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
115:14 どうか、主があなたがたを増し加え、あなたがたと、あなたがたの子孫とを／増し加えられるように。
115:14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
115:15 天地を造られた主によって／あなたがたが恵まれるように。
115:15 All of you are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
115:16 天は主の天である。しかし地は人の子らに与えられた。
115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth has he given to the children of men.
115:17 死んだ者も、音なき所に下る者も、主をほめたたえることはない。
115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
115:18 しかし、われらは今より、とこしえに至るまで、主をほめまつるであろう。主をほめたたえよ。
115:18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
116:1 わたしは主を愛する。主はわが声と、わが願いとを聞かれたからである。
116:1 I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.
116:2 主はわたしに耳を傾けられたので、わたしは生きるかぎり主を呼びまつるであろう。
116:2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
116:3 死の綱がわたしを取り巻き、陰府の苦しみがわたしを捕えた。わたしは悩みと悲しみにあった。
116:3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
116:4 その時わたしは主のみ名を呼んだ。「主よ、どうぞわたしをお救いください」と。
116:4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I plead to you, deliver my soul.
116:5 主は恵みふかく、正しくいらせられ、われらの神はあわれみに富まれる。
116:5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
116:6 主は無学な者を守られる。わたしが低くされたとき、主はわたしを救われた。
116:6 The LORD perserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
116:7 わが魂よ、おまえの平安に帰るがよい。主は豊かにおまえをあしらわれたからである。
116:7 Return unto your rest, O my soul; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
116:8 あなたはわたしの魂を死から、わたしの目を涙から、わたしの足をつまずきから助け出されました。
116:8 For you have delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
116:9 わたしは生ける者の地で、主のみ前に歩みます。
116:9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
116:10 「わたしは大いに悩んだ」と言った時にもなお信じた。
116:10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
116:11 わたしは驚きあわてたときに言った、「すべての人は当にならぬ者である」と。
116:11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
116:12 わたしに賜わったもろもろの恵みについて、どうして主に報いることができようか。
116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
116:13 わたしは救の杯をあげて、主のみ名を呼ぶ。
116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
116:14 わたしはすべての民の前で、主にわが誓いをつぐなおう。
116:14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
116:15 主の聖徒の死はそのみ前において尊い。
116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
116:16 主よ、わたしはあなたのしもべです。わたしはあなたのしもべ、あなたのはしための子です。あなたはわたしのなわめを解かれました。
116:16 O LORD, truly I am your servant; I am your servant, and the son of yours handmaid: you have loosed my bonds.
116:17 わたしは感謝のいけにえをあなたにささげて、主のみ名を呼びます。
116:17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
116:18 わたしはすべての民の前で／主にわが誓いをつぐないます。
116:18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
116:19 エルサレムよ、あなたの中で、主の家の大庭の中で、これをつぐないます。主をほめたたえよ。
116:19 In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise all of you the LORD.
117:1 もろもろの国よ、主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの民よ、主をたたえまつれ。
117:1 O praise the LORD, all you nations: praise him, all you people.
117:2 われらに賜わるそのいつくしみは大きいからである。主のまことはとこしえに絶えることがない。主をほめたたえよ。
117:2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endures for ever. Praise all of you the LORD.
118:1 主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。
118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endures for ever.
118:2 イスラエルは言え、「そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない」と。
118:2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endures for ever.
118:3 アロンの家は言え、「そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない」と。
118:3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endures for ever.
118:4 主をおそれる者は言え、「そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない」と。
118:4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endures for ever.
118:5 わたしが悩みのなかから主を呼ぶと、主は答えて、わたしを広い所に置かれた。
118:5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
118:6 主がわたしに味方されるので、恐れることはない。人はわたしに何をなし得ようか。
118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
118:7 主はわたしに味方し、わたしを助けられるので、わたしを憎む者についての願いを見るであろう。
118:7 The LORD takes my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
118:8 主に寄り頼むは人にたよるよりも良い。
118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
118:9 主に寄り頼むはもろもろの君にたよるよりも良い。
118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
118:10 もろもろの国民はわたしを囲んだ。わたしは主のみ名によって彼らを滅ぼす。
118:10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
118:11 彼らはわたしを囲んだ、わたしを囲んだ。わたしは主のみ名によって彼らを滅ぼす。
118:11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
118:12 彼らは蜂のようにわたしを囲み、いばらの火のように燃えたった。わたしは主のみ名によって彼らを滅ぼす。
118:12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
118:13 わたしはひどく押されて倒れようとしたが、主はわたしを助けられた。
118:13 You have thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
118:14 主はわが力、わが歌であって、わが救となられた。
118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
118:15 聞け、勝利の喜ばしい歌が正しい者の天幕にある。「主の右の手は勇ましいはたらきをなし、
118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
118:16 主の右の手は高くあがり、主の右の手は勇ましいはたらきをなす」。
118:16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
118:17 わたしは死ぬことなく、生きながらえて、主のみわざを物語るであろう。
118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
118:18 主はいたくわたしを懲らされたが、死にはわたされなかった。
118:18 The LORD has chastened me sore: but he has not given me over unto death.
118:19 わたしのために義の門を開け、わたしはその内にはいって、主に感謝しよう。
118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
118:20 これは主の門である。正しい者はその内にはいるであろう。
118:20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
118:21 わたしはあなたに感謝します。あなたがわたしに答えて、わが救となられたことを。
118:21 I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
118:22 家造りらの捨てた石は／隅のかしら石となった。
118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
118:23 これは主のなされた事で／われらの目には驚くべき事である。
118:23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
118:24 これは主が設けられた日であって、われらはこの日に喜び楽しむであろう。
118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
118:25 主よ、どうぞわれらをお救いください。主よ、どうぞわれらを栄えさせてください。

119:148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in your word.

120:2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

121:6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

121:7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul.

121:8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

122:2 Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.

122:3 Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together:
122:4 もろもろの部族すなわち主の部族が、そこに上って来て主のみ名に感謝することは、イスラエルのおきてである。
122:4 Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
122:5 そこにさばきの座、ダビデの家の王座が設けられてあった。
122:5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
122:6 エルサレムのために平安を祈れ、「エルサレムを愛する者は栄え、
122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.
122:7 その城壁のうちに平安があり、もろもろの殿のうちに安全があるように」と。
122:7 Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
122:8 わが兄弟および友のために、わたしは／「エルサレムのうちに平安があるように」と言い、
122:8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.

122:9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good.

123:1 Unto you lift I up mine eyes, O you that dwell in the heavens.
123:2 見よ、しもべがその主人の手に目をそそぎ、はしためがその主婦の手に目をそそぐように、われらはわれらの神、主に目をそそいで、われらをあわれまれるのを待ちます。
123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
123:3 主よ、われらをあわれんでください。われらをあわれんでください。われらに侮りが満ちあふれています。
123:3 Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
123:4 思い煩いのない者のあざけりと、高ぶる者の侮りとは、われらの魂に満ちあふれています。
123:4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

124:1 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

124:3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

124:4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

124:5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

124:6 Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.
124:7 われらは野鳥を捕えるわなをのがれる／鳥のようにのがれた。わなは破れてわれらはのがれた。
124:7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
124:8 われらの助けは天地を造られた主のみ名にある。
124:8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
125:1 主に信頼する者は、動かされることなくて、とこしえにあるシオンの山のようである。
125:1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides for ever.
125:2 山々がエルサレムを囲んでいるように、主は今からとこしえにその民を囲まれる。
125:2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
125:3 これは悪しき者のつえが／正しい者の所領にとどまることなく、正しい者がその手を／不義に伸べることのないためである。
125:3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
125:4 主よ、善良な人と、心の正しい人とに、さいわいを施してください。
125:4 Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
125:5 しかし転じて自分の曲った道に入る者を／主は、悪を行う者と共に去らせられる。イスラエルの上に平安があるように。
125:5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
126:1 主がシオンの繁栄を回復されたとき、われらは夢みる者のようであった。
126:1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
126:2 その時われらの口は笑いで満たされ、われらの舌は喜びの声で満たされた。その時「主は彼らのために大いなる事をなされた」と／言った者が、もろもろの国民の中にあった。
126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD has done great things for them.

126:3 The LORD has done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
126:4 主よ、どうか、われらの繁栄を、ネゲブの川のように回復してください。
126:4 Return our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
126:5 涙をもって種まく者は、喜びの声をもって刈り取る。
126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
126:6 種を携え、涙を流して出て行く者は、束を携え、喜びの声をあげて帰ってくるであろう。
126:6 He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
127:1 主が家を建てられるのでなければ、建てる者の勤労はむなしい。主が町を守られるのでなければ、守る者のさめているのはむなしい。
127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.
127:2 あなたがたが早く起き、おそく休み、辛苦のかてを食べることは、むなしいことである。主はその愛する者に、眠っている時にも、なくてならぬものを与えられるからである。
127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep.
127:3 見よ、子供たちは神から賜わった嗣業であり、胎の実は報いの賜物である。
127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
127:4 壮年の時の子供は勇士の手にある矢のようだ。
127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
127:5 矢の満ちた矢筒を持つ人はさいわいである。彼は門で敵と物言うとき恥じることはない。
127:5 Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

128:1 Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways.

128:2 For you shall eat the labour of yours hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you.

128:3 Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of yours house: your children like olive plants round about your table.

128:4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.
128:5 主はシオンからあなたを祝福されるように。あなたは世にあるかぎりエルサレムの繁栄を見、
128:5 The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
128:6 またあなたの子らの子を見るであろう。どうぞ、イスラエルの上に平安があるように。
128:6 Yea, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.
130:1 今イスラエルは言え、「彼らはわたしの若い時から、ひどくわたしを悩ました。
129:1 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
129:2 彼らはわたしの若い時から、ひどくわたしを悩ました。しかしわたしに勝つことができなかった。
129:2 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
129:3 耕す者はわたしの背の上をたがやして、そのうねみぞを長くした」と。
129:3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
129:4 主は正しくいらせられ、悪しき者のなわを断ち切られた。
129:4 The LORD is righteous: he has cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
129:5 シオンを憎む者はみな、恥を得て、退くように。
129:5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
129:6 彼らを、育たないさきに枯れる／屋根の草のようにしてください。
129:6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withers before it grows up:
129:7 これを刈る者はその手に満たず、これをたばねる者はそのふところに満たない。
129:7 Wherewith the mower fills not his hand; nor he that binds sheaves his bosom.

129:8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.

130:1 Out of the depths have I cried unto you, O LORD.
130:2 主よ、どうか、わが声を聞き、あなたの耳をわが願いの声に傾けてください。
130:2 Lord, hear my voice: let yours ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
130:3 主よ、あなたがもし、もろもろの不義に／目をとめられるならば、主よ、だれが立つことができましょうか。
130:3 If you, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
130:4 しかしあなたには、ゆるしがあるので、人に恐れかしこまれるでしょう。
130:4 But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.
130:5 わたしは主を待ち望みます、わが魂は待ち望みます。そのみ言葉によって、わたしは望みをいだきます。
130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in his word do I hope.
130:6 わが魂は夜回りが暁を待つにまさり、夜回りが暁を待つにまさって主を待ち望みます。
130:6 My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
130:7 イスラエルよ、主によって望みをいだけ。主には、いつくしみがあり、また豊かなあがないがあるからです。
130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is abundant redemption.

130:8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

131:1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
131:2 かえって、乳離れしたみどりごが、その母のふところに安らかにあるように、わたしはわが魂を静め、かつ安らかにしました。わが魂は乳離れしたみどりごのように、安らかです。
131:2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
131:3 イスラエルよ、今からとこしえに／主によって望みをいだけ。
131:3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
132:1 主よ、ダビデのために、そのもろもろの辛苦をみこころにとめてください。
132:1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

132:2 How he swore unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
132:3 「わたしは主のために所を捜し出し、ヤコブの全能者のためにすまいを求め得るまでは、わが家に入らず、わが寝台に上らず、わが目に眠りを与えず、わがまぶたにまどろみを与えません」。
132:3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

132:11 The LORD has sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne.
132:12 もしあなたの子らがわたしの教える／契約と、あかしとを守るならば、その子らもまた、とこしえに／あなたの位に座するであろう」。
132:12 If your children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon your throne for evermore.

132:13 For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his habitation.

132:14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
132:15 わたしはシオンの糧食を豊かに祝福し、食物をもってその貧しい者を飽かせる。
132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

132:17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

134:1 Behold, bless all of you the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

135:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Praise all of you the name of the LORD; praise him, O all of you servants of the LORD.
135:2 主の家に立つ者、われらの神の家の大庭に立つ者よ、ほめたたえよ。
135:2 All of you that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
135:3 主は恵みふかい、主をほめたたえよ。主は情ぶかい、そのみ名をほめ歌え。
135:3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
135:4 主はおのがためにヤコブを選び、イスラエルを選んで、おのれの所有とされた。
135:4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his exclusive treasure.
135:5 わたしは主の大いなることと、われらの主のすべての神に／まさることとを知っている。
135:5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
135:6 主はそのみこころにかなう事を、天にも地にも、海にもすべての淵にも行われる。
135:6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
135:7 主は地のはてから雲をのぼらせ、雨のためにいなずまを造り、その倉から風を出される。
135:7 He causes the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain; he brings the wind out of his treasuries.
135:8 主は人から獣にいたるまで、エジプトのういごを撃たれた。
135:8 Who stroke the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
135:9 エジプトよ、主はおまえの中に、しるしと不思議とを送って、パロとそのすべてのしもべとに臨まれた。
135:9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
135:10 主は多くの国民を撃ち、力ある王たちを殺された。
135:10 Who stroke great nations, and slew mighty kings;
135:11 すなわちアモリびとの王シホン、バシャンの王オグ、ならびにカナンのすべての国々である。
135:11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
135:12 主は彼らの地を嗣業とし、その民イスラエルに嗣業として与えられた。
135:12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
135:13 主よ、あなたのみ名はとこしえに絶えることがない。主よ、あなたの名声はよろずよに及ぶ。
135:13 Your name, O LORD, endures for ever; and your memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
135:14 主はその民をさばき、そのしもべらにあわれみをかけられるからである。
135:14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

135:16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
137:2 われらはその中のやなぎにわれらの琴をかけた。
137:2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
137:3 われらをとりこにした者が、われらに歌を求めたからである。われらを苦しめる者が楽しみにしようと、「われらにシオンの歌を一つうたえ」と言った。
137:3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us delight, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
137:4 われらは外国にあって、どうして主の歌をうたえようか。
137:4 How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land?
137:5 エルサレムよ、もしわたしがあなたを忘れるならば、わが右の手を衰えさせてください。
137:5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
137:6 もしわたしがあなたを思い出さないならば、もしわたしがエルサレムを／わが最高の喜びとしないならば、わが舌をあごにつかせてください。
137:6 If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
137:7 主よ、エドムの人々がエルサレムの日に、「これを破壊せよ、これを破壊せよ、その基までも破壊せよ」と／言ったことを覚えてください。
137:7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Demolish it, demolish it, even to the foundation thereof.
137:8 破壊者であるバビロンの娘よ、あなたがわれらにしたことを、あなたに仕返しする人はさいわいである。
137:8 O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewards you as you have served us.

137:9 Happy shall he be, that takes and dashes your little ones against the stones.

138:1 I will praise you with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto you.

138:2 I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your loving kindness and for your truth: for you have magnified your word above all your name.

138:3 In the day when I cried you answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

138:4 All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.

138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me: you shall stretch forth yours hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand shall save me.

139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, you are there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there.

139:9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

139:15 My substance was not hid from you, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the low parts of the earth.

139:16 Yours eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
139:17 神よ、あなたのもろもろのみ思いは、なんとわたしに尊いことでしょう。その全体はなんと広大なことでしょう。
139:17 How precious also are your thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
139:18 わたしがこれを数えようとすれば、その数は砂よりも多い。わたしが目ざめるとき、わたしはなおあなたと共にいます。
139:18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with you.

141:1 Lord, I cry unto you: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto you.

141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
141:3 主よ、わが口に門守を置いて、わがくちびるの戸を守ってください。
141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
141:4 悪しき事にわが心を傾けさせず、不義を行う人々と共に／悪しきわざにあずからせないでください。また彼らのうまき物を食べさせないでください。
141:4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

141:5 Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

141:6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

143:2 And enter not into judgment with your servant: for in your sight shall no man living be justified.
143:3 敵はわたしをせめ、わがいのちを地に踏みにじり、死んで久しく時を経た者のように／わたしを暗い所に住まわせました。
143:3 For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has smitten my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
143:4 それゆえ、わが霊はわがうちに消えうせようとし、わが心はわがうちに荒れさびれています。
143:4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
143:5 わたしはいにしえの日を思い出し、あなたが行われたすべての事を考え、あなたのみ手のわざを思います。
143:5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all your works; I meditate on the work of your hands.
143:6 わたしはあなたにむかって手を伸べ、わが魂は、かわききった地のように／あなたを慕います。〔セラ
143:6 I stretch forth my hands unto you: my soul thirsts after you, as a thirsty land. Selah.
143:7 主よ、すみやかにわたしにお答えください。わが霊は衰えます。わたしにみ顔を隠さないでください。さもないと、わたしは穴にくだる者のように／なるでしょう。
143:7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit fails: hide not your face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
143:8 あしたに、あなたのいつくしみを聞かせてください。わたしはあなたに信頼します。わが歩むべき道を教えてください。わが魂はあなたを仰ぎ望みます。
143:8 Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you.
143:9 主よ、わたしをわが敵から助け出してください。わたしは避け所を得るためにあなたのもとにのがれました。
143:9 Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto you to hide me.
143:10 あなたのみむねを行うことを教えてください。あなたはわが神です。恵みふかい、みたまをもって／わたしを平らかな道に導いてください。
143:10 Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
143:11 主よ、み名のために、わたしを生かし、あなたの義によって、わたしを悩みから救い出してください。
143:11 Restore life in me, O LORD, for your name's sake: for your righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
143:12 また、あなたのいつくしみによって、わが敵を断ち、わがあだをことごとく滅ぼしてください。わたしはあなたのしもべです。
143:12 And of your mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am your servant.
144:1 わが岩なる主はほむべきかな。主は、いくさすることをわが手に教え、戦うことをわが指に教えられます。
144:1 Blessed be the LORD my strength which teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
144:2 主はわが岩、わが城、わが高きやぐら、わが救主、わが盾、わが寄り頼む者です。主はもろもろの民をおのれに従わせられます。
144:2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdues my people under me.
144:3 主よ、人は何ものなので、あなたはこれをかえりみ、人の子は何ものなので、これをみこころに、とめられるのですか。
144:3 LORD, what is man, that you take knowledge of him! or the son of man, that you make account of him!
144:4 人は息にひとしく、その日は過ぎゆく影にひとしいのです。
144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passes away.
144:5 主よ、あなたの天を垂れてくだり、山に触れて煙を出させてください。
144:5 Bow your heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
144:6 いなずまを放って彼らを散らし、矢を放って彼らを打ち敗ってください。
144:6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out yours arrows, and destroy them.
144:7 高い所からみ手を伸べて、わたしを救い、大水から、異邦人の手から／わたしを助け出してください。
144:7 Send yours hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
144:8 彼らの口は偽りを言い、その右の手は偽りの右の手です。
144:8 Whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
144:9 神よ、わたしは新しい歌をあなたにむかって歌い、十弦の立琴にあわせてあなたをほめ歌います。
144:9 I will sing a new song unto you, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto you.
144:10 あなたは王たちに勝利を与え、そのしもべダビデを救われます。
144:10 It is he that gives salvation unto kings: who delivers David his servant from the hurtful sword.
144:11 わたしを残忍なつるぎから救い、異邦人の手から助け出してください。彼らの口は偽りを言い、その右の手は偽りの右の手です。
144:11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
144:12 われらのむすこたちはその若い時、よく育った草木のようです。われらの娘たちは宮の建物のために刻まれた／すみの柱のようです。
144:12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the embodiment of a palace:
144:13 われらの倉は満ちて様々の物を備え、われらの羊は野でちよろずの子を産み、
144:13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
144:14 われらの家畜はみごもって子を産むに誤ることなく、われらのちまたには悩みの叫びがありません。
144:14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
144:15 このような祝福をもつ民はさいわいです。主をおのが神とする民はさいわいです。
144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
145:1 わが神、王よ、わたしはあなたをあがめ、世々かぎりなくみ名をほめまつります。
145:1 I will extol you, my God, O king; and I will bless your name for ever and ever.
145:2 わたしは日ごとにあなたをほめ、世々かぎりなくみ名をほめたたえます。
145:2 Every day will I bless you; and I will praise your name for ever and ever.
145:3 主は大いなる神で、大いにほめたたえらるべきです。その大いなることは測り知ることができません。
145:3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
145:4 この代はかの代にむかって／あなたのみわざをほめたたえ、あなたの大能のはたらきを宣べ伝えるでしょう。
145:4 One generation shall praise your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
145:5 わたしはあなたの威厳の光栄ある輝きと、あなたのくすしきみわざとを深く思います。
145:5 I will speak of the glorious honour of your majesty, and of your wondrous works.
145:6 人々はあなたの恐るべきはたらきの勢いを語り、わたしはあなたの大いなることを宣べ伝えます。
145:6 And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: and I will declare your greatness.
145:7 彼らはあなたの豊かな恵みの思い出を言いあらわし、あなたの義を喜び歌うでしょう。
145:7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of your great goodness, and shall sing of your righteousness.
145:8 主は恵みふかく、あわれみに満ち、怒ることおそく、いつくしみ豊かです。
145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
145:9 主はすべてのものに恵みがあり、そのあわれみはすべてのみわざの上にあります。
145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
145:10 主よ、あなたのすべてのみわざはあなたに感謝し、あなたの聖徒はあなたをほめまつるでしょう。
145:10 All your works shall praise you, O LORD; and your saints shall bless you.
145:11 彼らはみ国の栄光を語り、あなたのみ力を宣べ、
145:11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power;
145:12 あなたの大能のはたらきと、み国の光栄ある輝きとを人の子に知らせるでしょう。
145:12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
145:13 あなたの国はとこしえの国です。あなたのまつりごとはよろずよに／絶えることはありません。
145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
145:14 主はすべて倒れんとする者をささえ、すべてかがむ者を立たせられます。
145:14 The LORD upholds all that fall, and raises up all those that be bowed down.
145:15 よろずのものの目はあなたを待ち望んでいます。あなたは時にしたがって彼らに食物を与えられます。
145:15 The eyes of all wait upon you; and you give them their food in due season.
145:16 あなたはみ手を開いて、すべての生けるものの願いを飽かせられます。
145:16 You open yours hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
145:17 主はそのすべての道に正しく、そのすべてのみわざに恵みふかく、
145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
145:18 すべて主を呼ぶ者、誠をもって主を呼ぶ者に／主は近いのです。
145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
145:19 主はおのれを恐れる者の願いを満たし、またその叫びを聞いてこれを救われます。
145:19 He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
145:20 主はおのれを愛する者をすべて守られるが、悪しき者をことごとく滅ぼされます。
145:20 The LORD perserves all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
145:21 わが口は主の誉を語り、すべての肉なる者は世々かぎりなく／その聖なるみ名をほめまつるでしょう。
145:21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
146:1 主をほめたたえよ。わが魂よ、主をほめたたえよ。
146:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
146:2 わたしは生けるかぎりは主をほめたたえ、ながらえる間は、わが神をほめうたおう。
146:2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
146:3 もろもろの君に信頼してはならない。人の子に信頼してはならない。彼らには助けがない。
146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
146:4 その息が出ていけば彼は土に帰る。その日には彼のもろもろの計画は滅びる。
146:4 His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
146:5 ヤコブの神をおのが助けとし、その望みをおのが神、主におく人はさいわいである。
146:5 Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
146:6 主は天と地と、海と、その中にあるあらゆるものを造り、とこしえに真実を守り、
146:6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keeps truth for ever:
146:7 しえたげられる者のためにさばきをおこない、飢えた者に食物を与えられる。主は捕われ人を解き放たれる。
146:7 Which executes judgment for the oppressed: which gives food to the hungry. The LORD looses the prisoners:
146:8 主は盲人の目を開かれる。主はかがむ者を立たせられる。主は正しい者を愛される。
146:8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind: the LORD raises them that are bowed down: the LORD loves the righteous:
146:9 主は寄留の他国人を守り、みなしごと、やもめとをささえられる。しかし、悪しき者の道を滅びに至らせられる。
146:9 The LORD perserves the strangers; he relieves the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.
146:10 主はとこしえに統べ治められる。シオンよ、あなたの神はよろず代まで統べ治められる。主をほめたたえよ。
146:10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even your God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise all of you the LORD.
147:1 主をほめたたえよ。われらの神をほめうたうことはよいことである。主は恵みふかい。さんびはふさわしいことである。
147:1 Praise all of you the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
147:2 主はエルサレムを築き、イスラエルの追いやられた者を集められる。
147:2 The LORD does build up Jerusalem: he gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
147:3 主は心の打ち砕かれた者をいやし、その傷を包まれる。
147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
147:4 主はもろもろの星の数を定め、すべてそれに名を与えられる。
147:4 He tells the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names.
147:5 われらの主は大いなる神、力も豊かであって、その知恵ははかりがたい。
147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
147:6 主はしえたげられた者をささえ、悪しき者を地に投げ捨てられる。
147:6 The LORD lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground.
147:7 主に感謝して歌え、琴にあわせてわれらの神をほめうたえ。
147:7 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
147:8 主は雲をもって天をおおい、地のために雨を備え、もろもろの山に草をはえさせ、
147:8 Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.
147:9 食物を獣に与え、また鳴く小がらすに与えられる。
147:9 He gives to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
147:10 主は馬の力を喜ばれず、人の足をよみせられない。
147:10 He delights not in the strength of the horse: he takes not pleasure in the legs of a man.
147:11 主はおのれを恐れる者と／そのいつくしみを望む者とをよみせられる。
147:11 The LORD takes pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
147:12 エルサレムよ、主をほめたたえよ。シオンよ、あなたの神をほめたたえよ。
147:12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion.
147:13 主はあなたの門の貫の木を堅くし、あなたのうちにいる子らを祝福されるからである。
147:13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.
147:14 主はあなたの国境を安らかにし、最も良い麦をもってあなたを飽かせられる。
147:14 He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest of the wheat.
147:15 主はその戒めを地に下される。そのみ言葉はすみやかに走る。
147:15 He sends forth his commandment upon earth: his word runs very swiftly.
147:16 主は雪を羊の毛のように降らせ、霜を灰のようにまかれる。
147:16 He gives snow like wool: he scatters the hoarfrost like ashes.
147:17 主は氷をパンくずのように投げうたれる。だれがその寒さに耐えることができましょうか。
147:17 He casts forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
147:18 主はみ言葉を下してこれを溶かし、その風を吹かせられると、もろもろの水は流れる。
147:18 He sends out his word, and melts them: he causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
147:19 主はそのみ言葉をヤコブに示し、そのもろもろの定めと、おきてとを／イスラエルに示される。
147:19 He shows his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
147:20 主はいずれの国民をも、このようにはあしらわれなかった。彼らは主のもろもろのおきてを知らない。主をほめたたえよ。
147:20 He has not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise all of you the LORD.
148:1 主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの天から主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの高き所で主をほめたたえよ。
148:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Praise all of you the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
148:2 その天使よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。その万軍よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。
148:2 Praise all of you him, all his angels: praise all of you him, all his hosts.
148:3 日よ、月よ、主をほめたたえよ。輝く星よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。
148:3 Praise all of you him, sun and moon: praise him, all you stars of light.
148:4 いと高き天よ、天の上にある水よ、主をほめたたえよ。
148:4 Praise him, all of you heavens of heavens, and all of you waters that be above the heavens.
148:5 これらのものに主のみ名をほめたたえさせよ、これらは主が命じられると造られたからである。
148:5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
148:6 主はこれらをとこしえに堅く定め、越えることのできないその境を定められた。
148:6 He has also established them for ever and ever: he has made a decree which shall not pass.
148:7 海の獣よ、すべての淵よ、地から主をほめたたえよ。
148:7 Praise the LORD from the earth, all of you dragons, and all deeps:
148:8 火よ、あられよ、雪よ、霜よ、み言葉を行うあらしよ、
148:8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
148:9 もろもろの山、すべての丘、実を結ぶ木、すべての香柏よ、
148:9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
148:10 野の獣、すべての家畜、這うもの、翼ある鳥よ、
148:10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
148:11 地の王たち、すべての民、君たち、地のすべてのつかさよ、
148:11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
148:12 若い男子、若い女子、老いた人と幼い者よ、
148:12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
148:13 彼らをして主のみ名をほめたたえさせよ。そのみ名は高く、たぐいなく、その栄光は地と天の上にあるからである。
148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
148:14 主はその民のために一つの角をあげられた。これはすべての聖徒のほめたたえるもの、主に近いイスラエルの人々の／ほめたたえるものである。主をほめたたえよ。
148:14 He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise all of you the LORD.
149:1 主をほめたたえよ。主にむかって新しい歌をうたえ。聖徒のつどいで、主の誉を歌え。
149:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
149:2 イスラエルにその造り主を喜ばせ、シオンの子らにその王を喜ばせよ。
149:2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
149:3 彼らに踊りをもって主のみ名をほめたたえさせ、鼓と琴とをもって主をほめ歌わせよ。
149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
149:4 主はおのが民を喜び、へりくだる者を勝利をもって飾られるからである。
149:4 For the LORD takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
149:5 聖徒を栄光によって喜ばせ、その床の上で喜び歌わせよ。
149:5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
149:6 そののどには神をあがめる歌があり、その手にはもろ刃のつるぎがある。
149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
149:7 これはもろもろの国にあだを返し、もろもろの民を懲らし、
149:7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
149:8 彼らの王たちを鎖で縛り、彼らの貴人たちを鉄のかせで縛りつけ、
149:8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
149:9 しるされたさばきを彼らに行うためである。これはそのすべての聖徒に与えられる誉である。主をほめたたえよ。
149:9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise all of you the LORD.
150:1 主をほめたたえよ。その聖所で神をほめたたえよ。その力のあらわれる大空で主をほめたたえよ。
150:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
150:2 その大能のはたらきのゆえに主をほめたたえよ。そのすぐれて大いなることのゆえに／主をほめたたえよ。
150:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
150:3 ラッパの声をもって主をほめたたえよ。立琴と琴とをもって主をほめたたえよ。
150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
150:4 鼓と踊りとをもって主をほめたたえよ。緒琴と笛とをもって主をほめたたえよ。
150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
150:5 音の高いシンバルをもって主をほめたたえよ。鳴りひびくシンバルをもって主をほめたたえよ。
150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
150:6 息のあるすべてのものに主をほめたたえさせよ。主をほめたたえよ。
